Exclusive: SHORES OF NULL Premieres “My Darkest Years” Music Video

Rome’s Shores of Null is explaining their discography of melancholic doom with their fourth album The Loss Of Beauty, arriving March 24, 2023. Stylistically, The Loss Of Beauty continues along the sulcus set forth by Quiescence (2014) and Black Drapes For Tomorrow (2017). It’s melancholic dark metal with a wide range of influences, from gothic metal to doom and melodic black/death, with frequent use of vocal harmonies and deep growls. The next single is an emotional homage to stories told to guitarist Raffaele Colace by his grandfather, a WWII veteran.

He shares the details:

“He was taken prisoner in Russia, but he managed to escape and he traveled all the way to Greece, where he hid for a few years in the countryside, in a swamp between the trees, sometimes in a pigpen. In his stories, he told of a woman that brought him a piece of bread every now and then, thus saving him from hunger. Although he managed to escape and survive the war and return to his family in Italy, sorrow never left him for the rest of his life. Whenever he recalled these memories, his eyes were full of tears, and we know for sure that the horrors he saw were way bigger than anything he was able to tell.”

Vocalist Davide Straccione takes his inspiration from daily life, in particular stories with a deep emotional meaning. Most of the time it’s the mood of the song that inspires him to write about a certain topic, and writing lyrics with a melody in mind allows him to visualize what he wants to tell. For The Loss Of Beauty some of the lyrics came after talking to Martina (Sanda Movies) about a few ideas for some of their videos, creating a triple connection between the music, the words, and the images.

BraveWords is premiering the new music video (created by Underrom Studio) for “My Darkest Years” – watch below!

The Loss Of Beauty will be released on March 24 via Spikerot Records. Pre-orders can be placed now at this location.

Shores Of Null will be touring Europe with Swallow The Sun, Draconian, and Avatarium in April/May 2023.

THE HU Release New Single / Video "This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)" Featuring ALICE IN CHAINS Vocalist WILLIAM DUVALL

Mongolian rock sensation and UNESCO Artist For Peace ambassadors The Hu
have shared a new version of their 2022 groundbreaking single "This Is Mongol". With featured guest vocalist/guitarist William DuVall of Alice In Chains now appearing on the updated track, "This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)" further highlights the song’s original message of promoting Mongolian culture and empowering environmental awareness by adding English-translated lyrics, sung by DuVall—who also produced and mixed the single--and an unforgettable chanting chorus: "Hey, We are warrior souls, rolling like a river of fire / We are warrior souls, running down the dragon to slay / This is our way (This is our way)."  These themes are seen throughout the "This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)" music video which also premiered today. The video was co-directed by Michael Lombardi, co-producer and lead actor of The Retaliators--the 2022 horror-thriller in which members of The Hu appeared and whose soundtrack included music from the band’s discography—and includes an exclusive sneak peek of the film which is out now on Blu-Ray via Better Noise Films.

"We are so excited to be performing our single, 'This is Mongol (Warrior Souls)', with William DuVall," says The Hu's tovshuur player and backing vocalist Temka. "He’s not only an amazing vocalist but also has unique rhythm and technique to his performance, and his style matches our energy and our throat singing. The song is about the warrior souls that are within us, and its purpose is to inspire you and awaken your soul. We hope everyone enjoys this piece of art."

"It was such an exciting and fulfilling challenge to write and produce something that remained true to The Hu’s sensibilities while also resonating with my own," shares William DuVall. "'Warrior Souls' is a testament to the fact that, no matter where we come from, in the end, we all want the same things-to prosper in our own time despite the odds arrayed against us, making previous generations proud and leaving a worthy legacy for the future. I’m honored by this collaboration and very proud of the result."

Lombardi shared details on working with The Hu and the video’s inspiration, stating:

"I had the immense pleasure of working with The Hu in the feature film, The Retaliators. Their contributions ranged from acting, songs appearing in the film and also on The Retaliators soundtrack. On their track, 'This is Mongol', their lyrics encompass a proud declaration of possessing a warrior spirit. The Hu believe we all have the warrior spirit within us. Through inspiring with their hearts and courage, they awaken that warrior spirit in all of us. I have witnessed that the messages in their music are a total reflection of how they live and how they tackle their artistic process. The Hu approach their craft with professionalism, courage--and with infectious energy."

Watch "This Is Mongol (Warrior Souls)" Feat. William DuVall of Alice In Chains below.

The Hu released their second album, Rumble Of Thunder in July 2022. SCORPIONS' 'Wind Of Change' Video Surpasses One Billion Views On YouTube

SCORPIONS' music video for "Wind Of Change" has surpassed one billion views on YouTube. The power ballad was originally uploaded to the platform in November of 2009.

SCORPIONS singer Klaus Meine and his bandmates wrote "Wind Of Change" after performing at 1989's Moscow Music Peace Festival in Moscow, where they shared the stage with other hard rock acts like BON JOVI and MÖTLEY CRÜE. The song was inspired by the sight of thousands of Russians cheering them on in 1988 — when they became the first hard rock band to play in Russia — and in 1989, at the aforementioned festival, even though they were a German band.

In March 2022, at the opening concert of SCORPIONS' "Sin City Nights" residency at Zappos Theater at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino In Las Vegas, Nevada, Meine told the crowd before launching into "Wind Of Change": "This song is calling for peace, and tonight, I think, we shall sing it even louder. We dedicate this to the brave people in the Ukraine."

In an interview with "Loudwire Nights" host Toni Gonzalez, Klaus explained the thought process behind changing the song's lyrics. "Before we came [to Las Vegas to begin the residency], I was thinking about how it feels to play 'Wind Of Change' the way we used to play for so many years, and I thought, it's not the time with this terrible war in Ukraine raging on, it's not the time to romanticize Russia with lyrics like, 'Follow the Moskva / Down to Gorky Park,' you know?" he said. "I wanted to make a statement in order to support Ukraine, and so the song starts now with, 'Now listen to my heart / It says Ukraine, waiting for the wind to change.'"

Back in 2015, SCORPIONS guitarist Rudolf Schenker stated about the inspiration for the original version of "Wind Of Change" "We wanted to show the people in Russia that here is a new generation of Germans growing up. They're not coming with tanks and guns and making war — they're coming with guitars and rock 'n' roll and bringing love!"

"There were so many emotional moments in Moscow," Meine added. "I guess it could have been BON JOVI or MÖTLEY CRÜE, any of these guys who had gone home inspired by what they saw, but for them it was like, 'Hey! We rocked the Soviet Union, dudes!' For us, maybe it was different. We saw so many changes from Leningrad in '88 to Moscow in '89. That was the inspiration for 'Wind Of Change'."

SCORPIONS' latest album, "Rock Believer", was released in February 2022. The album was recorded primarily at Peppermint Park Studios in Hannover, Germany and was mixed at the legendary Hansa Studios in Berlin, Germany with engineer Michael Ilbert, who has earned multiple Grammy nominations for his mix work with producer Max Martin on albums by Taylor Swift and Katy Perry.

SCORPIONS originally intended to record the new album in Los Angeles with producer Greg Fidelman, whose previous credits include SLIPKNOT and METALLICA. However, because of the pandemic, some of the initial work was done with Greg remotely, after which SCORPIONS opted to helm the recordings themselves with the help of their engineer Hans-Martin Buff.

See ARCH ENEMY's Music Video For 'Poisoned Arrow'

After releasing their latest record, "Deceivers", last year to critical acclaim, extreme metal masters ARCH ENEMY have returned today with a new video for the track "Poisoned Arrow". The clip, which was produced by Mirko Witzki of Witzki Visions, can be seen below.

ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott comments: "I almost can't believe we're releasing a seventh (!) video off our recent 'Deceivers' album. Yet here it is, 'Poisoned Arrow', a mid-tempo track drenched in melodic guitar work and a somewhat different vibe overall compared to the other singles we've had out.

"The video was shot in Berlin, Germany during a hectic whirlwind schedule with director Mirko Witzki and his talented crew — they even made it snow in the middle of the sweltering German summer heat!

"Here's another Deutschland connection for you; our German friend Raphy played the beautiful cello part on the intro and outro of the song, thanks again mate!

"2023 is upon us and ARCH ENEMY is back on the road again, we launch the proceedings in New Zealand, Australia and Japan and have a big European summer run too. Who knows where we'll go after that...but for now, check out 'Poisoned Arrow'!"

Starting this weekend, ARCH ENEMY will hit the road, touring the world in support of "Deceivers". The quintet will first appear in New Zealand and Australia before heading to Japan. This summer, fans will have the chance to catch ARCH ENEMY at the biggest festivals across Europe (with more European shows to be announced soon!).

ARCH ENEMY played its first post-pandemic show at the opening date of "The North American Siege 2022" tour with BEHEMOTH and NAPALM DEATH on April 16, 2022 at The Marquee in Tempe, Arizona.

Amott previously stated about "Deceivers": "Having just celebrated our 25th anniversary as a group and now releasing our 11th studio album, one could easily assume that we would be cruising along and going through the motions at this point. In reality, nothing could be further from the truth when it comes to ARCH ENEMY and our new album, 'Deceivers'.

"It is, without a doubt, always a challenge to raise the bar each time in both the songwriting and production side of things, and it can feel a bit daunting before we get into it. But once we do get started and fully immerse ourselves in the creative process, it's really like there is nothing else in the world and we are very focused. And believe it or not, for the most part, we have a ton of fun making this music! Creating 'Deceivers' was no different. Once again we shut out the outside world and went deep into the artistic zone. I believe we pulled out some really interesting musical and lyrical themes this time, a few things might even raise an eyebrow or two — while retaining all the signature elements of the band. In the end, it's ARCH ENEMY at full speed and power."

GOROD To Release The Orb Full-Length In March; North American Headlining Tour Nears

Bordeaux, France-based technical death metal goliaths, Gorod, will release their long-awaited seventh album, The Orb, on March 7.

The follow-up to the band’s Æthra full-length stands as their most accomplished work of their twenty-six year career. With The Orb, the quintet delivers both a synthesis of their previous efforts and opens to new, more accessible horizons. Far from being an average classic tech death act, Gorod continually diversifies its inspirations. With a unique groove mingled with melodies and rich harmonies inspired by ‘70s jazz, funk, and rock, their progressive and sophisticated approach to their sound has always given them a unique identity. The Orb furthers that trajectory.

Comments the band, “The overall composition of this album stretched out more in time than Æthra, which allowed us to try new things. We wanted to go both a little further in new experiments but also return back to our own sources in order to highlight the contrasts. From the most spontaneous to the most polished, we've put together the most accessible and extreme material we could.”

In advance of the record’s release, Gorod has released two videos. Watch a lyric video for “Breeding Silence”, and a video for The Orb’s title track, below. An additional album teaser will be unveiled in the coming days.

The Orb was produced by David Thiers at Secret Place Studio and will be released on CD, LP, and digitally. Find pre-orders here.

Tracklisting:

"Chrematheism"
"We Are The Sun Gods"
"The Orb"
"Savitri"
"Breeding Silence"
"Victory"
"Waltz Of Shades"

"Strange Days"

Gorod’s art is fully expressed on stage thanks to their explosive energy and mind bogglingly tight live performances. The Orb Release Tour will begin March 16 in Brooklyn, New York and run through April 15 in Richmond, Virginia. Support will be provided by Cognitive, Summoning The Lich, and Flub.

THOSE DAMN CROWS Release "Takedown" Single And Music Video

Those Damn Crows continue their enviable ascent with the release of empowering new single, "Takedown", included on their forthcoming new album. A ten-track collection of bona fide, modern rock bangers, Inhale/Exhale is set for release worldwide on February 17 via Earache Records. Tiding fans over ‘til the new album is released, "Takedown" is available today on all streaming platforms.

Frontman Shane Greenhall gets personal, confiding, "'Takedown' is the feeling you get when someone challenges you. I’m a very competitive person and have no issue going up against ANYONE… Especially if someone tells me I can’t do something… WATCH ME! You know the people who big themselves up by knocking down others? The ones who talk like they’ve been there, done that, know everything. They haven’t lived a day in your shoes though; they don't know the real you. But 'Takedown' isn’t just about the bullshit you hear from others. It’s also about the bullshit you tell yourself everyday too. ‘You’re not good enough’, ‘you can’t do that’ - the constant put downs we tell ourselves. I used to get caught up in how others saw me and do this to myself… it was a red rag to a bull. I’m always happy to prove people wrong, but these days I can see that coming a mile away and try to avoid it like the plague. Focus on you and what you CAN achieve as you ‘fly and soar’ above the negative, life sucking bullshit!”

Watch the official video for the single:

Inhale/Exhale is available for pre-order worldwide now at earache.com/thosedamncrows on an immense number of formats including: a collector's edition bundle (which will house a burnt orange and black splatter vinyl with alternate fire carousel cover, exclusive to this edition); limited edition coloured vinyl with an exclusive 12-page booklet (clear with black smoke, purple, yellow), plus blue and white splatter vinyl with alternate blue sky carousel cover; signed CD with exclusive 12-page booklet and alternate fire carousel cover; a cassette collection of the band's full discography; USB; and digital download. HMV carry two more exclusive formats: CD with alternate blue sky carousel cover and black vinyl with alternate fire carousel cover. A green vinyl format exclusive to indie stores is also available.

ARCHON ANGEL Feat. ZAK STEVENS To Release Sophomore Album In April; "Fortress" Single And Music Video Out Now

Frontiers Music Srl will release Archon Angel's second album, II, on April 14. It follows the band's 2020 debut, Fallen, which saw vocalist Zak Stevens (Circle II Circle, Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) and producer/guitarist Aldo Lonobile (Secret Sphere, Edge Of Forever) delivering a fantastic slab of power/progressive metal.

A new single and music video, "Fortress" is out today. Watch the clip below, and pre-order/save II here.

Fans of Archon Angel's debut will surely find no sophomore slump awaits them on II. In fact, Stevens and Lonobile have locked in on all the key parts that worked so well on their debut and amplified and perfected them for this glorious follow-up.

The seeds of Archon Angel were planted when producer/guitarist Lonobile and vocalist Stevens were collaborating on songs for Timo Tolkki's Avalon's Return To Eden album, which Aldo produced and played guitar on and Zak did some guest lead vocals for. After some discussions about what musical direction they wanted to take, Aldo sent Zak some demos that were reminiscent of classic Savatage records like Edge Of Thorns and Gutter Ballet. The two felt they were onto something and followed their musical muse, ultimately culminating in what would become Archon Angel's debut album, Fallen.

Zak Stevens first came to prominence in the metal scene when he was hand-picked by Savatage's Jon Olivia to take over as lead vocalist for the band. Starting with 1993's Edge Of Thorns, he would record four studio albums with the band, including the aforementioned album plus Handful Of Rain, Dead Winter Dead, and The Wake Of Magellan. He has also performed on multiple Trans-Siberian Orchestra releases, including Christmas Eve and Other Stories, Beethoven's Last Night, and more, while also being a member of the band's touring production.

Around 2001, Zak started a band, Circle II Circle, which has recorded seven studio albums, with the most recent being 2015's Reign Of Darkness. Additionally, he has appeared on albums by Timo Tolkki's Avalon, Machines Of Grace, Jon Olivia's Pain, and more.

II tracklisting:

"Wake Of Emptiness"
"Avenging The Dragon"
"Fortress"
"Quicksand"
"Away From The Sun"
"Afterburn"
"I Will Return"
"One Last Reflection"
"Bulletproof"

STATIC-X Announces Release Date For 'Project Regeneration: Vol. 2', Shares Cover Of NINE INCH NAILS' 'Terrible Lie'

After the successful celebration of the 20th anniversary of their seminal sophomore album "Machine" and a major North American tour supporting ROB ZOMBIE in 2022, multi-platinum selling industrial music icons STATIC-X have announced their eighth studio album, "Project Regeneration: Vol. 2". The LP is a collection of 13 brand-new songs that contain the final vocal performances and musical compositions of founding vocalist Wayne Static, along with the original "Wisconsin Death Trip" lineup featuring Tony Campos (bass),Koichi Fukuda (guitars) and Ken Jay (drums). The new album was produced by STATIC-X's current vocalist/guitarist Xer0 and mixed/mastered by longtime collaborator Ulrich Wild. The new album is scheduled for release on November 3 and is now available for pre-order at static-x.com in various configurations, including limited color vinyl, limited shirts, hoodies and more.

The first single released from "Project Regeneration: Vol. 2" is a cover of the NINE INCH NAILS "Pretty Hate Machine" classic track "Terrible Lie". The re-imagined version features vocals recorded by Static, along with an epic musical interpretation created by the original lineup and their producer Xer0. Wayne's vocals were discovered as part of a series damaged audio tapes that the band uncovered a few years back. The band's unique interpretation retains the electronic feel of the classic NIN song, while injecting it with the signature energy of STATIC-X and their Evil Disco sound. A music video for the single — which features Static projected behind the band — is now available and can be seen below. The video was directed by the album's executive producer and longtime friend Edsel Dope, who is also believed to be touring and recording with STATIC-X as Xer0, and co-directed by Matt Zane.

All of the music associated with "Project Regeneration: Vol. 2" is the result of collaborations between the four founding members along with their new vocalist/guitarist/producer Xer0. No additional guests appear on the album and there were no outside contributions to the songwriting, musical compositions, or the performances on "Project Regeneration: Vol. 2". Between the two releases, STATIC-X fans around the globe have been treated to over two dozen brand new songs — most of which feature Static on lead vocals — and all released after his untimely passing.

Campos says: "I am so happy that the recording for 'Project Regeneration: Vol. 2' is finally finished, and the album is currently being mixed by our longtime producer Ulrich Wild. The only thing left is for the vinyl manufacturing to be completed. I am proud to say that between 'Project Regeneration: Vol. 1' and 'Project Regeneration: Vol. 2', we have been able to bring the fans 25 brand new STATIC-X songs, most of which feature Wayne Static on lead vocals. Nobody would have imagined that any of this could even be possible a few short years ago."

Wayne's mother, father, and three siblings remain involved with STATIC-X's work to this day and have proudly attended several shows since the band's reformation in 2019.

Wayne's younger sister Aimee says: "We all miss Wayne very much and we are so proud of the way that the band has chosen to honor him through the completion of his final works. They continue to place an emphasis on his presence within their live shows and it’s been incredible to see the fans continue to connect with the band's music and with Wayne's memory. We fully support the journey that STATIC-X is currently on, and we know that Wayne would be incredibly grateful for all of the hard work that Tony, Ken, Koichi and Xer0 have done over the past few years."

Xer0 states: "We are so grateful to Wayne's family for giving us their blessings and trusting us to complete Wayne's final works. This has been an incredibly challenging task, to say the least, and it has all been done with an immense amount of love and respect. I am also grateful to all of the STATIC-X fans around the world for all of the love and support they have shown towards me."

Adds Jay: "Due to this being a two-part album and the fans having already been treated to 13 original songs from 'Vol. 1', we thought it would be fun to share the NIN cover, as we announce the completion of 'Vol 2'. 'Terrible Lie' is just a taste of what is to come, and we can’t wait for fans to heart the rest of this album!"

STATIC-X — featuring the lineup of Campos, Fukuda, Jay and Xer0 — will hit the road in 2023, headlining the "Rise Of The Machine" tour with FEAR FACTORY alongside DOPE, MUSHROOMHEAD and TWIZTID. The 42-date trek kicks off February 25 in San Francisco, California and wraps up April 15, in Los Angeles, California. Dates have been selling out across the country, with select markets upgrading to larger venues to meet the demand for the tour. STATIC-X also recently revealed plans for a tour of Australia and an appearance at the Blue Ridge Rock Fest this year.

VITTRA Releases “Sommarfödd” Video; Blasphemy Blues To Receive U.S. Release This Month

Swedish melodic death/thrash practitioners Vittra have unveiled a new video for “Sommarfödd.” The track comes by way of the band’s debut full-length, Blasphemy Blues, released in Europe late last year. Blasphemy Blues boasts a gripping combination of crushing death metal with strong songwriting and catchy hooks.

Originally called Vildvittra, based on the characters created by Astrid Lindgren as part of Ronja Rövardotter [Swedish for "Ronia, The Robber’s Daughter," a children’s fantasy book first published in 1981], their name later evolved into Vittra, inspired by the mythical creatures appearing in Swedish folk stories. And while Swedish folk is a recurring theme weaving in and out of their music, the band is firmly rooted in melodic death and thrash metal in the veins of Dissection, early In Flames, Megadeth, and At The Gates.

WHO BROUGHT THE DOG Featuring THE NEW BLACK Members Release New Single / Video "Live, Love And Struggle"

In 2018, The New Black guitarist Fabian "Fabs" Schwarz took a bold step out of his comfort zone by launching a solo project dubbed Who Brought The Dog. The independently released debut album, Welcome To The Man Cave, was a far cry from anything he had recorded before in that he consciously kept his metal roots locked away while experimenting with a rock sound that found its way into the realms of indie, blues, alternative, funk, jazz, punk and even pop.

In addition to Fabian Schwarz, the band also includes Frank Stimpfig (ex-Number Nine / bass), Markus "Fludid" Hammer (The New Black / vocals), Philipp Klinger (The New Black / drums), and Benjamin Haupt (guitar). With its unique sound and talented lineup, Who Brought The Dog is quickly gaining recognition as an exciting and innovative new band in the electronic rock scene.

Check out the first single and video, "Live, Love And Struggle", from their forthcoming album, Close To Burning.

Schwarz recently checked in with the following update:

"Looks like we have a plan for next month.... three brand new singles, two amazing videos, and in the end a full album and a release show."

LYNCH MOB Perform DOKKEN Classics In Cincinnati; Fan-Filmed Video Of Entire Show Streaming

On January 27th, Lynch Mob - featuring former Dokken guitarist George Lynch - performed at the Blue Note in Cincinnati, OH. Fan-filmed video of the entire show is available below.

The setlist was as follows:

"She's Evil But She's Mine"
"River of Love"
"When Heaven Comes Down" (Dokken)
"Unchain the Night" (Dokken)
"Street Fightin' Man"
"Voodoo Child (Slight Return)"
"All I Want"
"Into the Fire" (Dokken)
"Testify"
"Sweet Sister Mercy"
"Lightnin' Strikes Again" (Dokken)
"The Hunter" (Dokken)
"Rain"
"Mr. Scary" (Dokken)
"Wicked Sensation"
"Flesh and Blood"
"Hell Child"
"Tooth And Nail" (Dokken)

In 2021, guitar legend George Lynch (ex-Dokken) officially dropped his Lynch Mob band name, saying it "has always been problematic, and now it's inexcusable to keep the name." He then started working with a band under the name Electric Freedom. Recent shows in Hinton, OK and Santa Fe, NM however, saw Lynch back in business under the Lynch Mob name.

Speaking with Full In Bloom, Lynch explained why he decided to go back to using the Lynch Mob moniker.

Lynch: "Lynch Mob is just a brand I'd established for decades, obviously... over three decades. Nothing's perfect, and I've gotta just live with the fact that it has some negative connotations that I probably have to continue explaining for the rest of my life, and I don't mind doing that. But it is a brand that I built, and I'm just gonna stick with it. As far as a marketing thing and a brand thing and a business thing and a working thing, and it keeps my band guys working and it keeps the fans happy, it makes sense.

It's a brand. I mean, nobody wants Coke to change their recipe. Just stay the same, and that's what you built over the years. 'Why would you change it?' is a rhetorical question. Why I'm probably not more successful in some ways in my career is because I followed my aspirations musically rather than sometimes being smart about just sticking to the plan (laughs)."

THE POOR Release Official Music Video For "Lover"

Australian hard rock band The Poor issued High Price Deed, their first full album in over a decade, on February 3, 2023. That same day saw the release of the video for the song "Lover".

High Price Deed artwork and tracklisting:

"Payback's A Bitch"
"Lover"
"Hurricane"
"This Is The Story"
"Take The World"
"Goin' Down"
"Cry Out"
"Lies"
"I Know It's Wrong"
"Love Shot"
"Let Me Go"
"Too Long"

"Payback's A Bitch":

"Cry Out":

"Let Me Go":

The Poor started out playing the pub circuit in Darwin nearly two decades ago. The plan was simple -, hard rockin’ hard drinkin’ and world domination. In 1992 the band cut their debut release, the EP Rude, Crude & Tattooed, produced by Rick Brewster and Bob Spencer from The Angels and from the opening line you knew it was going to be something great; Aussie pub rock, in your face, no bullsh*t, straight to the point, rock’n’f%&k’n’roll.

In mid 1993, the band recorded their debut album, Who Cares, which spawned their most notable single, “More Wine Waiter Please”. An unrelenting couple of decades followed where they toured relentlessly, drank hard and rocked harder touring Australia, Europe and Japan, sharing stages with the likes of Suicidal Tendencies, The Scorpions, Alice In Chains and Van Halen.

In 2000 the band went into hibernation until an invitation to tour with W.A.S.P. was too good to refuse. It didn’t take long for them to get back into the rock’n’roll groove they cut so deeply in previous years. Round 1 and Round 2 albums followed in 2009 and 2010 respectively.

After 12 years of touring their supercharged ‘NO BS Aussie Rock’ show with local and international rock bands including AC/DC, The Screaming Jets, Rose Tattoo and The Angels, cut to the present day and The Poor has released new music on their old and new fans. Original members Anthony (Skenie) Skene, Matt Whitby and (almost original drummer) Gavin Hansen are joined by relative newcomer and lead guitarist Daniel Cox.

THE HOLLYWOOD STARS Release Still Around EP; Title Track Music Video Streaming

The Hollywood Stars have released their new EP Still Around via Golden Robot Records.

Born from the ‘70s Hollywood rock scene, The Hollywood Stars have re-established themselves with their four track EP. The previously unheard title track “Still Around” is a high energy song that captures the bands longevity and passion for rock ‘n' roll.

"The band is really psyched to be releasing our first EP on Golden Robot. The fourth single, 'Still Around' epitomizes the band and its long history. Against all odds, we are still rockin!,” says lead singer Scott Phares.

LIMP BIZKIT Uses Deepfake Technology To Include VLADIMIR PUTIN, JOE BIDEN, TOM CRUISE And More In New Music Video

LIMP BIZKIT has released the official music video for the song "Out Of Style". The clip, co-directed by LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst and Marc Klasfel, uses deepfake technology to show members of LIMP BIZKIT as world leaders — Durst is Vladimir Putin, Wes Borland is Joe Biden, DJ Lethal is Volodymyr Zelenskyy — jamming in a garage while "Tom Cruise" is in charge of the barbeque.

"Out Of Style" is taken from LIMP BIZKIT's latest album, "Still Sucks", which came out in October 2021.

Prior to the arrival of "Still Sucks", LIMP BIZKIT had not released a new studio LP since 2011's "Gold Cobra", although the band has spent a lot of time writing and recording music over the past decade.

Next month, LIMP BIZKIT will embark on a rescheduled European headline tour, with support from WARGASM and BLACKGOLD. LIMP BIZKIT will also make several U.S. festival appearances this spring and summer, including New Jersey's Bamboozle in May and Ohio's Inkcarceration in July.

Nine LIMP BIZKIT titles have landed on the Billboard 200, including two which topped the chart — 1999's "Significant Other" and 2000's "Chocolate Starfish And The Hot Dog Flavored Water".

LIMP BIZKIT signed with AGI for North American tour representation in 2021 after announcing that they were canceling all the remaining 2021 shows on their "Post Pandemic Popup Party" tour.
