Founded by guitarist Dylan Ruskin in 2006. At the time, Ruskin intended for the group to be a side-project.



It originally appeared that Brain Drill was finished in 2008 when the other three band members left, but Ruskin decided to continue the band with a new line-up after vocalist Steve Rathjen rejoined.
