THREE DAYS GRACE Breaks Record For Most No. 1 BILLBOARD Mainstream Rock Songs Ever
THREE DAYS GRACE, the internationally acclaimed and multi-platinum certified Canadian band with over a billion streams on Spotify, has made history with "Infra-Red", its 14th No. 1 single on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Songs chart. With this latest achievement, the band has broken VAN HALEN's two-decade record of topping the Billboard chart.
"Infra-Red" is featured on "Outsider", THREE DAYS GRACE's sixth full-length album and fifth consecutive Top 40-charting LP on the Billboard Top 200. Additionally, the song is the 15th No. 1 single on Mediabase Active Rock chart. Watch the music video for "Infra-Red" below.
Said drummer Neil Sanderson about the latest record: "If you had told me when we were 14 and making noise in our garage that someday we'd set the record for most No. 1 rock songs in America, I would've called you bat-shit crazy!! THREE DAYS GRACE's other No. 1 singles include "Misery Loves My Company", "Chalk Outline", "World So Cold", "Never Too Late", "Just Like You", "Animal", "Pain" and "Home".
The Canadian act also consistently averages 3.9 million monthly listeners on Spotify, remaining one of the most listened-to rock bands in the world.
Sanderson said a while back why he thinks the band continues to connect with listeners. "One thing that hasn't changed with us is that we write about real things in our lives and the lives of people around us, and observations of just sort of life itself, you know," he explained. "And I think THREE DAYS GRACE fans have attached themselves to that and I think that sometimes, you know, that's a powerful thing if you can put into words what other people are thinking."
