CAGE - New Album, Tour Plan Updates

Long-running San Diego power metallers CAGE are in the process of recording Ancient Evil, a story-based release that singer Sean Peck teases will include a special (well known) guest vocalist, in the role of lead character Elliot Worthington. To date, Peck has finished seven songs and pre-orders will be available shortly. Previously, the confident frontman offered this synopsis of the forthcoming project, a horror-concept CD set in London in 1869. "It is very much influenced by HP Lovecraft and will ship with a 90 page mini novel telling the story in detail."
Cage recently added a trio of new members (NIHILIST drummer Sean Elg, DETONATED bassist Dwight Magic and MONUMENT guitarist Casey "The Sentinel" Trask), but that hasn't slowed them down. In addition to time in the studio, the band are committed to Europe, this July, including a stop at the Headbanger Open Air (northern Germany, 24th-26th) and are currently investigating an eastern North America trek, around October.
