CHRIS CAFFERY - New Single Planned For Release This Tuesday, New Solo Album Due Next Summer

Guitarist Chris Caffery (Savatage, Trans-Siberian Orchestra) has checked in with the following update:

"I still have a bit of work to do on my new single but I'm really hoping to have it ready by my birthday on Tuesday (September 9th). I want to do exactly what I did last year which is give it as a present to you my friends on that day. It would appear in my Bandcamp page. If I run out of time it will be up asap. I have some lead vocal and lead guitar work left before I can mix. In a perfect world I will have at least a few mixes by the end of the day tomorrow and do a couple re-mixes on Tuesday. Give it a quick master and send it away. I decided to finish the full record for release next summer after Wacken. I didn't want to do a press campaign that would most likely contain questions like 'So, tell us about your new record and what are your thoughts on the Savatage reunion...' etc...etc!"

I did this cover artwork last evening when I returned home from the Bowers Pepperfest. I enjoy doing the covers for these singles. For my new album cover I will hire an artist. However, the last few singles I released I had fun putting some meanings from the individual songs into their digital release covers!"
