A KILLER’S CONFESSION - Former MUSHROOMHEAD Vocalist WAYLON REAVIS’ New Project Announces Guest Appearance By KORN’s Brian ‘Head’ Welch; Album Release Date, First Live Show Confirmed
The band recently has released a 1:30 studio teaser for “A Killer’s Confession”, streaming below:
The single comes from the debut full-length, Unbroken, being released on February via Megadeth bassist David Ellefson’s EMP Label Group/eOne, with album art being done by legendary horror artist “Mister Sam” Shearon, responsible for artwork for Rob Zombie, Fear Factory, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Arise In Chaos, Clive Barker (Books of Blood, Hellraiser), IDW Publishing (KISS, Mars Attacks, The X-Files, Judge Dredd) and more.
The band also released an in-studio behind the scenes video this week, filmed at Richmond, KY’s Third Sky Studios by Drew Fortier, and featuring co-producers Reavis and Thom Hazaert, and engineer Richard Easterling (American Head Charge, Emporers and Elephants, Doll Skin, Muse).

The announcement was also retweeted by Slipknot/Stone Sour vocalist Corey Taylor on Sunday, which was also addressed by Reavis via social media: "Wow. HUGE thanks to Corey Taylor for showing love to A Killer's Confession. We are truly, truly, honored."

Additionally, A Killer’s Confession has announced its first live show, December 17th at Cleveland’s Agora, with special guests Dead By Wednesday.
Reavis was co-vocalist for Mushroomhead from 2004 to 2015, and appears on the albums Savior Sorrow (2006), Beautiful Stories for Ugly Children (2010), and The Righteous & The Butterfly (2014), as well as other projects including Tenafly Viper, which also featured former Chimaira bassist Jim LaMarca.
