JIMMIE VAN ZANT To Release New Album In July

JIMMIE VAN ZANT – cousin to LYNYRD SKYNYRD’s Johnny Van Zant and Ronnie Van Zant – has announced that his new album, Feels Like Freedom, will be released on July 3rd via MRI/RED.

The album was recorded at Sound Kitchen Studios in Nashville, TN.

Van Zant commented: “I personally picked these eleven songs based on the lyrical content and the emotional melodies tied to them. Each song tells a story with true meaning and either takes you on a journey to some place, relives fond memories, lessons learned from someone or our own experiences. I hope you enjoy this collection of songs as much as I did recording them.”

The music video for the title track can be seen below.

Van Zant commented on the video: "This song is about ones that find their mate, but were bound by others point of view in relationships. They break away and follow their hearts and live in the moment."
