THE GENTLE STORM Enlist WITHIN TEMPTATION Guitarist RUUD JOLIE And DEW SCENTED Drummer KOEN HERFST For Upcoming South American Live Dates
"Exactly one year ago today (March 26th), The Gentle Storm performed on stage for the first time ever! What a year it has been and… the ride still continues. Yesterday, the readers of iO Pages voted our album, The Diary, as the #1 prog album of 2015 from the Low Countries. Today we have been rehearsing for our upcoming shows in South America. Some familiar faces, some new faces - my dear friend Ruud Jolie from Within Temptation is temporarily filling in the lead guitar role. Koen Herfst (who was voted best Hard Rock / Metal Drummer Benelux 2015 by Holland’s leading percussion magazine Slagwerkkrant), will take up drumming duties until Ed Warby is fully recovered. See you soon South America!"

The first ever Anneke van Giersbergen Fan Weekend will take place December 16th – 18th, 2016 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands and will be packed with exciting events. The Fan Weekend will provide fans from all over the world with the opportunity to meet, socialize and connect with fellow fans. Anneke herself will be present during the whole weekend.

Friday, December 16th, 2016

- Meet Anneke, grab some autographs, and get a professional photo taken together
