After being in the studio for several months, the band are ecstatic for the album to finally see the light of day, and band leader Luke Machin had this to say about its release: "I am extremely happy with the way this album has come together, I wouldn't have changed a thing. We cannot wait to bring this album to the stage and start performing this material at live shows in the near future, it's gonna be killer! An album is a documentary of ones life at the present time and finally I can now share this experience with you all on record."
Tracklisting:
'The Fallen'
'Rubidium'
'Cubixstro'
'Invincible'
'Venga'
'Eyes Pt.1'

Now with a fantastic five-piece line-up, the band is ready to make their mark in the progressive world.
Maschine are:
Luke Machin - guitar/vocals
Elliot Fuller - guitar
Dan Mashal - bass
Doug Hamer - drums
Georgia Lewis - keyboards/vocals

ACHERON - Kult Des Hasses Album Recordings Almost Completed; To Embark On Mini-Tour With INCANTATION In JulyOhio-based blackened death metal vets ACHERON are almost done recording their upcoming album, Kult Des Hasses, with mixing and mastering the only things left to complete.
It has been four years since the last album from Acheron, and the band has finally returned to record a new unholy masterpiece. Acheron recently entered Bad Back Studio in Cleveland, Ohio and began working with engineer David Johnson. Kult Des Hasses will be released in November via Listenable Records.
The goal of this album is to return to a more pure and raw studio sound, very much like the old school classic releases of band like CELTIC FROST, MERCYFUL FATE, SLAYER and POSSESSED. In a day and age where modern technology is over used by so many bands, Acheron wants to present a great quality album without all the over produced bullshit!
The song writing is very catchy, aggressive and heavy. Band found Vincent Crowley says: “Bands like VENOM and SODOM make brutal songs but the tunes are very memorable and catchy. That has always been my goal with Acheron. And I must say this is one of the catchiest Acheron albums ever. I have no doubt that our fans both old and new will enjoy this upcoming musical assault.”
Kult Des Hasses tracklisting:
‘Daemonum Lux’
‘Satan Hold Dominion’
‘Raptured to Divine Perversion’
‘Jesus Wept’
‘Thy Father Suicide’
‘Misanthropic Race’
‘Whores and Harlots’
‘Asphyxiation (Hands of God)’
‘Concubina Do Diabo’
‘Devil's Black Blood’
Check out the demo of 'Asphyxiation (Hands Of God)’ below:
The present line-up of Acheron is Vincent Crowley (vocals, bass), Kyle Severn (drums) and Art Taylor (lead, rhythm guitar). On the album they are joined by special guest Ricktor Ravensbruck (WOLFEN SOCIETY, ELECTRIC HELLFIRE CLUB, WOLFPACK 44) as a second lead guitarist. The band wanted to capture a sick dual guitar attack sound. The insane work of Taylor and Ravensbruck has indeed accomplished that.
Some very special guest vocals will be on the album also, including Kam Lee (ex-MASSACRE), Jim Lippucci (SOULLESS), John and Jill McEntee (INCANTATION, FUNERUS), Zdenka Prado (ESTUARY) and Acheron alumni Ash Thomas (ESTUARY, FAITH XTRACTOR).
In other news, Acheron will be doing a mini-tour with INCANTATION in late July. The band has hired DISMEMBERMENT guitarist Jacob Shively to fill the slot of second guitarist.
When asked if Shively would be their new permanent second guitarist, Crowley stated: “Jacob is a talented guitarist and fan of the band. His group Dismemberment opened for Acheron a few times and I really liked them. That is why I asked him about filling in. But we are taking baby steps. We’ve learned from past experiences not to just give hire someone right away. For now he is playing with us for all upcoming live shows. We’ll just have to see if it progresses into something more. But we are indeed open to the idea if the dedication and chemistry is there.”
Acheron will also be headling the Death Doomed The Age Fest in September and the Under The Banner Of The Black Light fest in October in Germany.

Video: SHINEDOWN Performs 'Simple Man' For WAAF ListenersOn June 13, SHINEDOWN performed for an exclusive group of listeners of the Worcester/Boston, Massachusetts radio station WAAF. You can now watch video footage of the performance below.
SHINEDOWN's fourth album, "Amaryllis", was released last year. The CD debuted atop Billboard's "Rock Albums" chart and at #4 overall on The Billboard 200 — SHINEDOWN's biggest chart debut thus far — with over 105,000 units sold its first week out.
"Amaryllis" arrived in stores almost four years after the band issued "The Sound Of Madness". SHINEDOWN frontman Brent Smith told The Pulse Of Radio that even though the band really came together on that last effort, they didn't want to rest on their laurels while making "Amaryllis". "We're never really a band that's gonna ever be satisfied," he said. "We're never gonna be complacent with 'Oh, well, that'll do.' We're the band that's looking for the doors that everyone is afraid to find, because we like that. We like pushing the envelope constantly. It keeps us on our toes."
The release of "Amaryllis" was accompanied by an e-book called "For Your Sake: Inside The Making Of Amaryllis", a 75-page, "completely interactive" e-book that contains commentary, photos, video footage and other content exclusively chronicling the creation of the new record.
SHINEDOWN will headline the 2013 Carnival of Madness tour, which will kick off on August 13 in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to SHINEDOWN, the bill will feature PAPA ROACH, SKILLET, IN THIS MOMENT and new act WE AS HUMAN.

MINISTRY: More 'From Beer To Eternity' Album Details RevealedAl Jourgensen, six-time Grammy-nominated godfather of industrial metal, will release his band MINISTRY's 13th studio album, "From Beer To Eternity", on September 6 via 13th Planet Records.
As fans of the band know, after last year there wasn't going to be another MINISTRY album, but as Jourgensen put it recently, "I had no choice."
Sessions for what would become "From Beer To Eternity" began last December at Jourgensen's 13th Planet compound in El Paso, Texas, with Jourgensen (who produced the album, composed the music and wrote the lyrics for all 11 songs), guitarists Mike Scaccia and Sin Quirin, drummer Aaron Rossi and bassist Tony Campos. Rough tracks for 18 songs were finished on December 19, and three days later, the 47-year old Scaccia died from a heart attack he suffered onstage while playing a live show with his band RIGOR MORTIS in Dallas, Texas. Jourgensen, Quirin, Rossi and Campos were absolutely devastated.
"We have never, in the history of MINISTRY, ever had a tracking session like that before," states Jourgensen. "Everything went so smoothly, it was surreal. And Mikey was so on fire and inspired, and really a driving force for this record."
After returning from Scaccia's funeral in Dallas, and shouldering the weight of grief as well as the desire to honor his fallen comrade, Jourgensen locked himself in his studio with his engineer and co-producer Sammy D'Ambruoso for three excruciating months. "There was no choice," Jourgensen says of the bittersweet production process. "During the tracking sessions, Mikey was smiling and going, 'You know what, Al? This is by far and away the best MINISTRY album we've ever done together. This is awesome.'
"I'm super proud of 'From Beer To Eternity', because it's my tribute to Mikey's incredible talent, and I feel it honors him and all of the years we spent together making music."
From the schizophrenic opening cut, the sarcasm-dripping, sound effect-laden "Hail To His Majesty (Peasants)" to the thrash-punk riffs andbooming bass reverberations of "Punch In The Face", to "Change Of Luck", a song that Jourgensen wrote directly about Scaccia's death, "From Beer To Eternity" pulls no punches, sounding at once familiar, yet completely fresh and inspired. The release also includes "Side F/X Include Mikey's Middle Finger / TV4", which old-school MINISTRY fans will recognize as a continuum in a series of TV songs that began in the mid-1990s, and underscores Scaccia's birthright as one of the greatest metal guitarists in the world.
"PermaWar", the first single from "From Beer To Eternity", will drop digitally via iTunes in late July as a three-track maxi single. Additionally, 13th Planet Records will be releasing special products for "From Beer To Eternity", including a special limited-edition digipak with 13 tracks, a special FanBox edition, as well as vinyl and limited-edition 12-inch picture discs.
MINISTRY will support "From Beer To Eternity" with a cavalcade of music videos, off-the-wall making-of digital clips, and an ongoing "dog-blog" commentary by Jourgensen's two Labradors, Lemmy and Ozzy, who were present every step of the way during the recording and mixing of "From Beer To Eternity", and have launched their own Facebook page.
But wait, there's more. In addition to "From Beer To Eternity" coming in September, July 9 will see the release of Jourgensen's authorized biography, "Ministry: The Lost Gospels According To Al Jourgensen", penned by Jourgensen with Jon Wiederhorn on DaCapo Press. "Ministry" is a memoir both ugly and captivating, revealing Jourgensen as a man who lived a hard life his own way without making compromises. Then, the two-disc DVD "Ministry: Enjoy the Quiet - Live at Wacken 2012" debuts at the already sold-out Wacken Open Air 2013 festival in Germany August 1-3. Shot live in concert at one of MINISTRY's final shows of the band's 2012 tour at Wacken Open Air in front of 75,000 fans, the DVD features "New World Order", "99 Percenters", "Ghouldiggers", "Psalm 69", "Thieves", "Just One Fix" and "Khyber Pass". 1

RISE TO REMAIN Completes Songwriting Process For Sophomore AlbumMerlin Alderslade of Metal Hammer magazine spoke to RISE TO REMAIN, the up-and-coming London, England metalcore outfitfronted by Austin Dickinson — the son of IRON MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson — at this year's Download festival, which took place June 14-16 at Donington Park in Leicestershire, United Kingdom. You can now watch the chat below.
RISE TO REMAIN recently entered the studio to begin work on its second album for a late 2013 release.
The U.S. version of RISE TO REMAIN's debut CD, "City Of Vultures", was made available in June 2012 and included four bonus tracks.
Speaking to Metal Hammer, Austin stated about RISE TO REMAIN's forthcoming effort: "It's done, it's finished. We just have to get it all packaged and recorded properly and stuff like that."
He continued: "We've been demoing for about five months now, so it's been a super-, super-long process, but I think that we're finally happy with it. We're finally at this place where every single thing is just sculpted to how we want it.
"We didn't wanna be a band that just smashed something out for people to kind of go and pick up and play for, like, two months and then get bored. That sucks, 'cause then you've gota do another one, and if you make the same mistake twice, then [you'll be gone]. I think we'd rather stay at an even kilter and just really release fucking quality metal tunes.
"The metal scene is so killer right now, so our competition is so high, and they're our friends too. So we're not trying to kick anyone out, but we are trying to write damn good music."
RISE TO REMAIN last year announced the full-time additions of bassist Connor O'Keefe and drummer Adam Lewin on drums to the group's ranks. 2

According to a press release, "the principle of Do What Thou Wilt is the threat leading through this amazing album, which is inspired by ancient cultures around the globe. The CD will be released on June 25 via Mike Patton's (FAITH NO MORE) Ipecac label.
The track listing for the 47-minute effort is as follows:
01. Future Warrior
02. Patagonia
03. Mission Sunset
04. Shortwave Radio
05. Tropics
06. Antarctic Handshake
A special iTunes pre-order gives purchasers an immediate download of "Tropics".
The quartet has also announced its first tour dates: a four-date West Coast run this July, with stops in San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and San Francisco:
July 10 - San Diego, CA - Belly Up Tavern
July 11 - Santa Ana CA - The Observatory
July 12 - Los Angeles, CA - The Troubadour
July 13 - San Francisco, CA - Slim’s
PALMS came together following the demise of ISIS, with Jeff Caxide (bass), Aaron Harris (drums) and Clifford Meyer (keyboards/guitar) electing to continue playing music together.
"After a little time, Jeff, Cliff, and I decided that it was insane that we all still lived here in Los Angeles and weren't playing together," Harris says. "It just sort of happened naturally, probably because we have been playing together for so long, and things started to come together. But we didn't want to be instrumental: We wanted vocals. We just weren't exactly sure who that would be at first." The band, knowing that Chino had been a fan of ISIS, thought he would be a great fit and he agreed.
"A chance to work with the guys from ISIS sounded like a lot of fun," Moreno says, "I've always been into the atmospheric sounds they had created with that project and felt my sense of melody would meld well with theirs." 1

AUGUST BURNS RED: New Song 'Provisions' Available For Streaming"Provisions", a brand new song from the Manheim, Pennsylvania-based quintet AUGUST BURNS RED, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. The track comes off the band's fifth album, "Rescue & Restore", which will be released on June 25 via Solid State Records.
The new effort, described by guitarist and principal songwriter JB Brubaker as the band’s "most ambitious album yet," turns a critical eye to the oft-maligned genre of metalcore, leading by example to prove that bands can still find exciting new ways to expand the genre.
"'Rescue & Restore' is about challenging other bands and ourselves, as well as fans of this music, to want more than whatever happens to be the current buzz," explains Brubaker.
"We’ve done our best with each new album to try to push our sound in new directions and we’d like to see our peers do the same.
"People need to realize that there’s not much of a difference between a metalcore song that has a couple breakdowns with a repeating chorus and the latest LADY GAGA song. This genre used to be better than that. It can still be better than that."
Throughout the album, AUGUST BURNS RED continue to do their part to challenge the conventions of heavy music. Over the course of 11 tracks, the band artfully blend piano, cello, violin, trumpet, various percussive elements and more into their sonic arsenal, taking their music into new aesthetic territory and contorting the boundaries of the genre.
In support of "Rescue & Restore", AUGUST BURNS RED will perform all summer long as a mainstage act on the 2013 Vans Warped Tour, marking their third appearance overall and first since 2011.
With "Rescue & Restore", AUGUST BURNS RED have proven that it is possible to reshape music in a way that challenges listeners, reinvigorates fans and puts art first. But for any fans who fear AUGUST BURNS RED turning their back on the sound that catapulted them to the forefront of a genre, Brubaker advises them not to worry.
"At the end of the day, we are still a very heavy band," he explains. "'Rescue & Restore' still has plenty of really heavy stuff, techy odd meter riffs, and all the stuff that people have come to expect from us; it just has a lot more surprises along the way."
"Rescue & Restore" track listing:
01. Provisions
02. Treatment
03. Spirit Breaker
04. Count It All As Lost
05. Sincerity
06. Creative Captivity
07. Fault Line
08. Beauty In Tragedy

P.O.D.: 'Beautiful' Video Released"Beautiful", the new video from Christian hard rockers P.O.D. (PAYABLE ON DEATH), can be seen below. The song comes off the band's latest album, "Murdered Love", which sold more than 16,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 17 on The Billboard 200 chart.
"Murdered Love" was released on July 10, 2012 via Razor & Tie. The band's long-awaited follow-up to "When Angels & Serpents Dance" sees them reunited with longtime producer Howard Benson, who also produced the group's massive "Satellite" album as well as hit CDs for Kelly Clarkson, THEORY OF A DEADMAN, DAUGHTRY, THE ALL AMERICAN REJECTS and MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE. The CD cover and packaging was illustrated and designed by Invisible Creature, whose previous credits include the FOO FIGHTERS, NORMA JEAN, Chris Cornell and many more.
In a 2012 interview with PureGrainAudio, vocalist Sonny Sandoval stated about the "Murdered Love" album title: "When we started PAYABLE ON DEATH, we were young kids at the time. It's a religious term, y'know, when someone passes on, what they leave behind — we've always related that to our faith in Christ. We believe in faith in the ultimate sacrifice for sin and doing that, we have redemption. So that's the pathway to our music. 'Murdered Love' is a very similar concept. It started out with the song 'The Day We Murdered Love', which was based on the idea that the moment Christ was crucified, how dark, how somber and sad it was. The earth quaked, the sky went black. It's talking about desperation for the people who believed in him, just the anguish that must've been felt. Y'know, just the idea that we crucified the Savior of the world; we murdered... love!"

METALLICA's Surprise 'Kill 'Em All' Performance: Official Footage Of Rehearsal, ShowMETALLICA surprised fans at Orion Music + More on June 8 by playing its 1983 debut disc "Kill 'Em All" from beginning to end on a smaller stage at the event. METALLICA was officially announced to play a headlining set on June 9 to close out the festival, but hit the stage at 4:30 p.m. one day earlier for a 10-song set that started with "Hit The Lights" and finished out with "Metal Militia".
The afternoon slot was officially taken by an "act" called DEHAAN — which METALLICA fans may have recognized as the name of actor Dane DeHaan, who is starring in the band's upcoming 3D movie, "Metallica Through The Never". Another hint was dropped when METALLICA frontman James Hetfield posted a message on Instagram which read, "Don't miss Dehaan! #MUYA #mff #UwillRegretMissingThem #IfUdoUmightKillEmAll #winkWink #getIt?"
Hetfield came onstage first to introduce "DEHAAN," after which the rest of the members of METALLICA came out and began playing.
Official Metallica TV footage of the pre-show rehearsal in the "tuning room", as well as the actual DEHAAN performance, can be seen below.
Featured songs:
"Jump In The Fire" in tuning room (starting at 0:05)
"Hit The Lights" from the show (starting at 3:31)
"Phantom Lord" from the show (starting at 7:55)
Next month is the 30th anniversary of the release of "Kill 'Em All", which was issued on July 25, 1983.
At last year's Orion festival, METALLICA played both 1991's self-titled "black album" and 1984's "Ride The Lightning" in their entirety on separate nights.
Drummer Lars Ulrich told The Pulse Of Radio recently that the band didn't necessarily want to do the same thing each year with a different record. "Obviously, it's something that's a lot of fun to do, but you've got to just walk a fine line because you don't — obviously, METALLICA's not interested in being, you know, a nostalgia act only. So we want to just find that right line."
Other acts performing at the second annual Orion Music + More festival this past weekend included the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS, RISE AGAINST, DEFTONES, THE SILVERSUN PICKUPS, BASSNECTAR, GOGOL BORDELLO, FOALS, TOMAHAWK, THE JOY FORMIDABLE, THE BRONX and DROPKICK MURPHYS. 21

Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star is the premier pop music lullaby line, with more than a hundred titles to choose from across soundtracks, pop, rock, metal, country, alternative and more.
In its mission statement, Twinkle Twinkle Little Rock Star says, "We feel our lullaby line fills a vacant musical niche. There are other lines of pop music lullabies but we decided to take the approach of being high end musically rather than simply doing these as a novelty. After all, just because the music is for a baby it doesn’t have to sound unsophisticated. We feel we owe it to the artists that we are covering to do their music justice and our standard of quality transcends the lullaby genre. In fact, in addition to soothing babies our fans use our music for yoga, massage and sleep therapy or just general relaxation. We like to call them 'lullabies for all ages' and the diversity of use is testament to that."
