SOUNDGARDEN: First Glimpse Of

SOUNDGARDEN: First Glimpse Of 'Live From The Artists Den' Episode

"Live From The Artists Den", the three-time New York Emmy-nominated television series which pairs world-class musicians with unique venues to create intimate, once-in-a-lifetime concerts, filmed SOUNDGARDEN's February 17 concert at Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

In front of a rapturous crowd, SOUNDGARDEN interwove brand new songs with classics, radio hits with rarities never before performed for a live audience. Over a varied 28-song set, they showcased their history, dazzled with their musicianship and captured the imaginations of everyone in the room.

Enjoy a first glimpse of SOUNDGARDEN's upcoming episode of "Live From The Artists Den", set to air on public television in 2013.

SOUNDGARDEN released the music video on January 29 for "By Crooked Steps", the second single from the quartet's new album, "King Animal". Singer Chris Cornell told The Pulse Of Radio a little about the tune: "It's one of the earlier songs that we started working on, but I also felt like it, to me, is like definitely sort of a new chapter for us. If you wanted to take one example of SOUNDGARDEN progressing, that's a good one for me."

The "By Crooked Steps" clip was directed by FOO FIGHTERS frontman Dave Grohl, who submitted a treatment for the video on his own initiative after hearing the song.

"King Animal" came out last November and was SOUNDGARDEN's first set of all-new material in 16 years.

ANTHRAX:

ANTHRAX: 'Anthems' Audio Snippets, Commentary

"Anthems", ANTHRAX's long-awaited, eight-track EP that pays tribute to the classic songs by some of the band's favorite acts from the 1970s, was released in North America on March 19 (MRI/Megaforce), and on March 22 in Europe (Nuclear Blast).

"Anthems" track listing

01. Anthem (RUSH cover)
02. Jailbreak (THIN LIZZY cover)
03. TNT (AC/DC cover)
04. Smokin' (BOSTON cover)
05. Big Eyes (CHEAP TRICK cover)
06. Keep On Runnin' (JOURNEY cover)
07. Crawl (album version)
08. Crawl (special remix)

A four-minute video clip containing audio snippets of all the songs that appear on "Anthems", along with commentary from ANTHRAX bandmembers can be seen below.

The "Anthems" EP will be available on CD as well as digitally via iTunes and other online retailers. In addition to "Anthems"' cover art, Benante and artist Stephen Thompson have subtly redesigned each track's original album cover art to "Anthrax" it. The "Anthems" EP will first be housed in one of the "re-imagined" digipak covers, and then inserted inside the main CD cover sleeve. The main cover sleeve has been designed in such a way so fans will be able to see which one of the six "re-imagined" covers is inside.

"Anthems" was produced by ANTHRAX, Jay Ruston and Rob Caggiano and recorded for the most part throughout 2012 literally all over the world: at Benante's home studio, in Ruston's New York studio, on the band's tour bus while on last summer's Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival, in hotel rooms, and backstage at their Berlin show last December.

The Grammy-nominated ANTHRAX recently hit the road in support "Anthems" with dates in Australia, and will return to North America to headline the Metal Alliance Tour that kicks off March 22. For all of these dates, ANTHRAX is being joined by SHADOWS FALL guitarist Jon Donais.

JOHN SYKES: New Album Studio Musicians Revealed

JOHN SYKES: New Album Studio Musicians Revealed

Since guitarist/vocalist John Sykes (WHITESNAKE, BLUE MURDER, THIN LIZZY) left the THIN LIZZY reunion band a few years back, he has been immersed in the studio writing and arranging new tracks. He has written well over 30 songs so far and has also had new equipment fitted in his studio, where he records all his own material.

John is currently working on his fifth studio album that is due for release later this year. The title of the CD has not yet been disclosed, but there are some fantastic guest musicians on board, including:

* Josh Freese (WEEZER, A PERFECT CIRCLE, GUNS N' ROSES, DEVO): Drums
* Tony Franklin (THE FIRM): Bass
* Chris Chaney (JANE'S ADDICTION): Bass
* Curt Bisquera (SARAH MCLACHLAN): Drums
* Jamie Muhoberac (THE ALL-AMERICAN REJECTS, FLEETWOOD MAC, THE ROLLING STONES): Keyboards

Sykes's much-hyped collaborative project with drummer Mike Portnoy (DREAM THEATER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD, ADRENALINE MOB) came to an abrupt end in January 2012. Portnoy later blamed the split on the fact that he "couldn't wait around any longer" for Sykes to get ready to enter the studio.

Portnoy and Sykes announced they were working together during a July 2011 taping of season eight of VH1 Classic's "That Metal Show". The program's co-host Eddie Trunk tweeted about the project at the time, "I heard demos. Sounds like killer BLUE MURDER meets '1987' WHITESNAKE. Amazing!" He also said that the new group would perform some BLUE MURDER material when it hits the road.

The project in 2011 demoed more than a dozen songs at a Los Angeles studio, with Portnoy describing one track as "copping the [LED] ZEPPELIN/[BLACK] SABBATH vibe" and another as "[PINK] FLOYD meets [DEEP] PURPLE!!! Some serious old-school classic rock."

Sykes announced his departure from THIN LIZZY in July 2009, explaining that "I feel it's time to get back to playing my own music."

BELPHEGOR: New Album Pushed Back To 2014

BELPHEGOR: New Album Pushed Back To 2014

Austrian death/ black metal metallers BELPHEGOR have pushed back the release date of their new album to early 2014 via Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2011's "Blood Magick Necromance" was recorded in part at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida with producer Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, MORBID ANGEL, CANNIBAL CORPSE).

Commented BELPHEGOR founding member, guitarist and vocalist Helmuth Lehner: "Drums, bass and guitars are all tracked. It sounds brutal, more aggressive and more death than what was heard on the last LPs. The soundwall is massive — just as expected. Thanks to Erik Rutan for the extra motivation and forcing us to nail down tight-as-fukk performances. Furthermore, I am set to lay down the vocals in June/July, the mixdown and mastering will be done in September.

"A tough call, but it was the best for the record to decide to delay the release date again, to unleash the album in early 2014.

"Be prepared for Diabolical Death Musick!"

Songtitles set to appear on BELPHEGOR's new album include "Gasmask Terror", "Rex Tremendae Majestatis", "Take Her, Lucifer!" and "The Inverted Cross". The cover artwork will be created by Greek artist Anthon Siro Seth, who previously worked on BELPHEGOR's "Pestapokalypse VI" album in 2006. He said in a statement: "It will be a great challenge creating the artwork for BELPHEGOR's new masterpiece. My mission is clear: creating the most disturbing artwork I have ever made!"

CARCASS Producer COLIN RICHARDSON Quits Mixing New Album; ANDY SNEAP Steps In

CARCASS Producer COLIN RICHARDSON Quits Mixing New Album; ANDY SNEAP Steps In

Reactivated British extreme metal legends CARCASS have recruited Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, ACCEPT, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY) to mix their comeback album, "Surgical Steel", after the CD's producer, Colin Richardson (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, NAPALM DEATH, SLIPKNOT, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE), quit the project two weeks into the mixing process.

Speaking to Colombia's El Santuario Del Rock, CARCASS bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker stated about Richardson's decision to walk away from "Surgical Steel": "He quit yesterday. He was two weeks into mixing the album and he decided that he didn't want to continue. So Andy Sneap is taking over. [Colin's] produced the album. It's just that he's hit a brick wall with the mix and doesn't want to continue. And so we're bringing in Andy Sneap to do the mix now. It's a shame, but we finished recording the album three months ago. There are a lot of reasons for it, but the main reason is that he says he is burnt out. I guess it will be a positive thing to bring in some fresh ears."

Jeff Walker talks about Colin Richardson's decision to quit mixing the new CARCASS album (audio):

SUIDAKRA:

SUIDAKRA: 'Eternal Defiance' Track Listing Revealed

"Eternal Defiance", the new albnum from German melodic folk/death metallers SUIDAKRA, will be released on May 24 via AFM Records.

The track listing for the CD is as follows:

01. Storming The Walls
02. Inner Sanctum
03. Beneath The Red Eagle
04. March Of Conquest
05. Pair Dadeni
06. The Mindsong
07. Rage For Revenge
08. Dragon’s Head
09. Defiant Dreams
10. Damnatio Memoriae
11. Mrs Mcgrath (bonus track)

Commented SUIDAKRA singer Arkadius Antonik: "As on the previous two releases, it will be a concept album again, created by [famous Belgian graphic artist] Kris Verwimp in cooperation with us. Our new concept includes a lot of new elements and suprises which will be reflected in the music as well."

In a 2012 interview with Metal Kaoz, Antonik stated about SUIDAKRA's new material: "The songs … are bombastic and we also finished the first song with Tina's [Stabel] female vocals. This time, it's gonna be a faster song with a real epic and catchy chorus."

Bassist Marcus Riewaldt last year announced his departure from SUIDAKRA. He said in a statement, "After more than 250 shows and 10 years being in the band, I feel that now time has come to change my priorities a bit and see what else life has to offer for me. No hard feelings involved; it's just that I cannot motivate myself for another writing-rehearsing-recording-promoting-touring cycle and that I'm really annoyed by some of the music business mechanisms that one has to deal with in order to continue this beautiful and exciting, but at the same time very time- and energy-consuming hobby. I wish SUIDAKRA much luck and success for the future — it would all be well deserved!"

SUIDAKRA has already secured a replacement bassist in Tim Siebrecht, who was a stand-in guitar player for SUIDAKRA on several occasions in recent years.

SUIDAKRA's tenth album, "Book Of Dowth", was released on March 25, 2011 via AFM Records.

ALICE IN CHAINS:

ALICE IN CHAINS: 'The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here' Cover Artwork, Release Date Revealed

ALICE IN CHAINS has set a May 14 release date for its new album, which is officially titled "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here". The group's fifth studio effort is its second with William DuVall on vocals and follows up 2009's "Black Gives Way To Blue", the group's first all-new collection of material in 14 years and first since the 2002 death of original singer Layne Staley.

Songtiltes set to appear on the CD:

* Voices
* Low Ceiling
* Stone
* The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here
* Hollow
* Lab Monkey
* Hung On A Hook
* Pretty Done
* Breath On A Window
* Choke
* Phantom Limb

The album's cover artwork can be seen below.

"We made a unique record that's completely different from anything we ever did," ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell tells RollingStone.com. "It encapsulates a period of time, like all records do. You see growth and that the band is moving ahead in new territory that we haven't been to before, but we haven't lost our identity."

He added: "There's some real filth in there. That's intentional, and that's also just how we sound together. We're trying to make a record that we dig and we're trying to keep the bar high for ourselves and see if we can get past it, and I think that we did again. And of course you want people to dig it too and to respond to it, and to have that start happening is satisfying."

ALICE IN CHAINS released a first single called "Hollow" earlier this year from the new disc, along with an accompanying video.

"The initial response to 'Hollow' has been fucking incredible, totally not what we intended, and that's fucking awesome," Cantrell tells RollingStone.com. "We just put that song out there for the fans and then it ended up turning into a number one single, a six-minute sludgy metal tune. That's always fun, to see something like that happen."

ALICE IN CHAINS began working on new material in 2011, but the sessions for the album were delayed when Cantrell had to undergo shoulder surgery.

The band has announced a spring trek that starts on April 25 in Miami Beach and will include headlining slots at the Rocklahoma, Carolina Rebellion, Welcome To Rockville and Rock On The Range festivals.

ROB ZOMBIE

ROB ZOMBIE's 'The Lords Of Salem' Film: New Clip Posted Online

An exclusive clip from Rob Zombie's upcoming film, "The Lords Of Salem", can be seen at USAToday.com.

Zombie recently revealed the track list for the soundtrack of "The Lords Of Salem" and it contains classic songs from THE VELVET UNDERGROUND, MANFRED MANN, Rick James and RUSH in addition to an original score by Zombie's guitarist John 5. Zombie told The Pulse Of Radio how he approached compiling the soundtrack. "I mean, I always like to find songs that can represent the film, so there's at least one song in every movie that when you hear it, it brings back the imagery of the film," he said. "In this movie, it was a VELVET UNDERGROUND song. I always want to try to find that piece of music early on, even in the writing process. For 'Devil's Rejects', it was 'Freebird', strangely enough, and for the last movie it was 'Nights In White Satin'. Sometimes you just hear a song and you go, 'This song sounds like how I want the movie to feel.'"

The soundtrack includes MANFRED MANN's version of "Blinded By The Light", Rick James' "Give It To Me Baby", RUSH's "The Spirit Of Radio" and THE VELVET UNDERGROUND's "Venus In Furs" and "All Tomorrow's Parties".

"The Lords Of Salem" soundtrack arrives on April 16, a few days before the movie opens in limited release on April 19.

Zombie's own new album, "Venomous Rat Regeneration Vendor", is due out on April 23 and contains songs such as first single "Dead City Radio And The New Gods Of Super Town", "Lucifer Rising", "The Girl Who Loved The Monsters" and "Behold! The Pretty Filthy Creatures", along with a cover of the GRAND FUNK RAILROAD hit "We're An American Band".

Zombie will also receive an honorary award at the upcoming Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on May 2.

AMORPHIS To Release

AMORPHIS To Release 'Hopeless' Bourbon Sauce

Finnish melancholic dark metal forerunners AMORPHIS will release a new bourbon sauce called "Hopeless" on April 17.

Description of the sauce: "Mildly hot and rich flavoured sauce made of apples, chipotle and bourbon. Use it in barbeque or on any food as a dip or condiment. On barbeque use low or medium temperature."

You can buy the sauce at this location.

AMORPHIS' eleventh album, "Circle", will be released on April 19 via Nuclear Blast Records. Production and mixing duties for the follow-up to 2011's "The Beginning Of Times" were handled by HYPOCRISY and PAIN mastermind Peter Tägtgren, who has previously worked with such bands as CHILDREN OF BODOM, CELTIC FROST, IMMORTAL and DIMMU BORGIR. The recordings took place at Petrax Studio (NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM, KORPIKLAANI) in Hollola and 5K Studios in Helsinki. The cover artwork was created by Tom Bates (BLEED FROM WITHIN, DEVIL SOLD HIS SOUL) and can be seen below.
Commented AMORPHIS vocalist Tomi Joutsen: "The mystic, androgynous person on the cover represents a spiritual guide. This character was sent from another time and place to help the album's protagonist find a new path for his life."

Apart from the CD+DVD digibook version, "Circle" will be available on CD (without the bonus track), black 2LP in gatefold, brown 2LP in gatefold and as a bulging limited box, including three bonus tracks and a wristband — exclusively via the Nuclear Blast mail order.

TRANSPORT LEAGUE played its first reunion show on May 15, 2009 on the Terass stage at Henriksberg in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Commented the group: "TRANSPORT LEAGUE was the band who invented the phrase 'boogie from hell,' well known and well heard on the two first albums, 'Stallion Showcase' (1995) and 'Superevil' (1997). Just listen to tracks such as 'Cosmical Satanical' and 'Lost In The Desert Of Habib' and you will understand what we are talking about.

DAVE GROHL Considered Playing NIRVANA Songs With P.J. HARVEY Singing

DAVE GROHL Considered Playing NIRVANA Songs With P.J. HARVEY Singing

Although Dave Grohl says he's been reluctant to play any music from NIRVANA live in the past, performing recently at SOUND CITY PLAYERS gigs with former NIRVANA members Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear has made it more of a possibility. According to The Pulse Of Radio, Grohl revealed to NME that the three of them had discussed doing it — and asking British alternative diva P.J. Harvey to sing. Grohl explained, "Every once in a while we talk about it. For the SOUND CITY gig here in London (last month), we were thinking about musicians that we could invite because Stevie Nicks and John Fogerty couldn't make it. Someone came up with the idea of doing a NIRVANA song with P.J. Harvey."

Grohl added, "Kurt (Cobain) loved her and we love her and we thought, 'Yeah, what would we do?' I said, 'God, what if we were to do 'Milk It' from 'In Utero' with Polly (P.J. Harvey) singing?' We all looked at each other like, 'Whoa, that would be amazing,' and then she couldn't do it."

Grohl reiterated his reluctance to play NIRVANA material, saying, "The thing is, it's sacred ground. If we were ever to do something like that it would have be right because you want to pay tribute. There's a reason FOO FIGHTERS don't do NIRVANA songs, and it's a good reason."

The SOUND CITY PLAYERS, a collection of musicians that Grohl interviewed for his documentary "Sound City", played what might have been their last show at the South By Southwest festival in Austin, Texas last week.

The Pulse Of Radio asked Grohl about the possibility of taking the PLAYERS on the road. "You know, so many people have said like, 'Oh, you've got to go on tour' and 'You've got to do more shows' and I swear to God, I would give my left arm to do it," he said. "Logistically, you could imagine, it's like taking 'Hollywood Squares' on the road. It's nuts."

"Sound City: Real To Reel", the soundtrack album companion to the movie, debuted at No. 8 on the Billboard album chart on Wednesday (March 20), selling 37,000 copies in its first week of release. The set includes new songs featuring Grohl, Paul McCartney, Trent Reznor, Corey Taylor, Stevie Nicks and others.

LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR Announces New EP And Release Show For

LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR Announces New EP And Release Show For 'Record Store Day'

Celebrating ten years of clear-cut maliciousness through Greek mythology and unchecked riff savagery in 2013, Chicago trio LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR will storm back with a new EP this spring.

While the members of LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR have been skulking around in the back-alleys of the underground over recent months, the band has been far from dormant. To commemorate a full decade of demolishing eardrums on record and on stage this year, the band will hammer its fanbase with a brand new EP for this year's Record Store Day. Entitled "Godslayer", the new seven-inch release bears two new tracks, with the surge of "Godslayer" opening up, and the monolithic "The Black Heart of the Stygian Drakonas" on the B-side, both tracks mastered by Scott Hull (PIG DESTROYER). A limited edition of 300 copies will be pressed as a seven-inch, in addition to the digital download through iTunes, Amazon MP3 and the like, and as with their latest album, "Evil Power", will be released on their own The Grind-House Records with distribution from previous label home, Southern Lord, for Record Store Day this April 20.

The "Godslayer" cover art was designed by visual artist Tom Denney — artist for LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR's "Carnage" EP, "Ultimate Destroyer" LP and self-titled demo covers, and known for works for KYLESA, SOURVEIN, SOILENT GREEN, SAINT VITUS, YAKUZA, BLACK COBRA, RWAKE, SAMOTHRACE and WEEDEATER, among others.

In conjunction with "Godslayer"'s release, LAIR OF THE MINOTAUR will storm stages once again in April, starting with a free hometown Record Store Day show at Reckless Records in Chicago's Wicker Park.

Sweden's AGRIMONIA To Release New Album Via Southern Lord

Sweden's AGRIMONIA To Release New Album Via Southern Lord

The name of Gothenburg-based quintet AGRIMONIA will reverberate through the masses throughout the coming months as their third LP, and first for Southern Lord, is subject to be released onto the masses at the end of April.
Agrimonia has lead a fruitful existence since their 2005 foundation, a steady diet of live appearances and European tours being an immediate part of the band’s ethos from day one, the ranks of the band featuring members of other notable Swedish infiltrators including MARTYRDÖD, SKITSYSTEM, AT THE GATES and others. Their initial recording - a massive nearly hour-long undertaking - spread through the post-rock and crust legions, eventually seeing official release on European label Skuld Releases. Following their follow-up LP - the 2010-released Host Of The Winged, released again via Skuld alongside a CD release on US crust/punk mainstays PROFANE EXISTENCE - the band traversed on American and Mexican soil for the first time with a brief but rampant West Coast North American tour.

Having signed with Southern Lord mid-2012, Agrimonia bunkered into the studio over the turn of the year to record their label debut Rites Of Separation, the final product then mixed by mastermind Fredrik Nordstrom at infamous Studio Fredman (At The Gates, OPETH, ARCH ENEMY). With just seconds short of a full hour of material harnessed, the completed recordings boast the most mammoth and varied sounds in the band’s already diversified and expansive sound, their bustling slow-motion post-rock builds displayed with the most epic refinement. The band’s unconcealed crustpunk ethos and scathing elements shine through the pristine devastation, with elements of SUMMONING, DAMAD, PELICAN, Opeth, CRISIS, BOLT THROWER, NAUSEA and countless more shining within Agrimonia's crushing, poignant and unique new LP.

Rites Of Separation will see a North American release on April 30th via Southern Lord.
Rites Of Separation tracklisting:

'Talion'
'Hunted'
'While Life Lies'
'The Battle Fought'
'Awaiting'

JULIUS SEIZURE Release New Music Video ‘TMSNEV’

Clifton, NJ metal act JULIUS SEIZURE has released a new single and music video for ‘TMNSNEV’. The single, originally recorded for the band's debut E.P. Beware The Ides Of March was re-recorded with new vocalist and former WILL KILLMORE drummer/bandmate Charlie Corletta.

Check out the track below:
Corletta comments: "When I was told that I was going to re-record ‘TMSNEV’, I was excited and eager to put my flair on a track that I felt to be the strongest on the band's E.P. I tried to remain true to (former vocalist) Yosef El's vision and delivery while still allowing my voice to be heard. Last thing I wanted was to be a hired gun. I had to establish myself as part of the band's signature sound and I am proud of the end result."
The brand new single was directed and edited by Jonathan Robertson at P1 Digital Media (Las Vegas), produced and engineered by the band's guitarist Steve Toth, and mixed and mastered by Kevin Antreassian at Backroom Studios, Rockaway, NJ. ROOTS OF PAIN Ink Deal With Memorial Records; New Album Details, Trailer Available

Italian thrash/melodic-death metallers Roots Of Pain sign a deal with Memorial Records for the release of their debut album entitled Countdown To Armageddon which will be available from April 18th.
The band comment about the new songs and the concept: “This album represents our restart point and a goal achieved with patience and dedication. The recordings brought us together even more as a band, the album gave us the strength to continue to look forward towards our goals, overcoming our obstacles and personal challenges. Our greatest satisfaction consist in being able to mix our different musical influences into a coherent mix of thrash, hardcore and death metal, without neglecting the melodic component. Countdown To Armageddon tells the story of an era, the fifth era of the Mayan civilization, their prophecies and how they have brought our world and our society to decay. A countdown began thousands of years ago that has marked the passage of time to the present day.”
The tracklist for Countdown To Armageddon:

TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION Release 'Damn You To Hell' Single

TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION Release 'Damn You To Hell' Single

Texas southern rock/metal TEXAS HIPPIE COALITION have released 'Damn You To Hell', the second single from their latest album, Peacemaker (Carved Records), to Active Rock radio.
“This song right here could very well be one of the heaviest songs THC has ever written. Partially due to the fact that the music is written by guitarist Wes Wallace who is a heavier-the-better enthusiast”, says vocalist Big Dad Ritch. “Also the fact that we wanted to break down the barbwire fence and go open range, no boundaries. Lyrically, it’s pure cage match and ring entrance material. Boldly challenging and boasting to the opposition: I don’t care what you say, this is mine and this is my way. Bringing my world to the fight world, 'I'm a king in a cage, and I command the stage'. Yawl know me - BDR, the King of Texas, the stage commander, and yawl know, 'I'm a lunatic n it’s about to get sick!'."

‘Damn You To Hell’ is available for purchase. Check out a preview below. Click here to purchase.

CULTURA TRES Post Video Teaser For New Album

CULTURA TRES Post Video Teaser For New Album

Venezuela-based sludge/doom act CULTURA TRES will release their new album, entitled Rezando Al Miedo, on May 15th. A video teaser for the album can be seen below:
The cover artwork for the band’s third full-length is taken from the painting “Day of Judgment”, by the remarkably talented artist Damian Michaels.
Rezando Al Miedo doesn't walk away from the mood their previous record, El Mal Del Bien, had, yet the songs tell a different story. Darkness exhausts itself into depression; the album is a journey inside the collective subconsciousness, a walk on the edges of sanity, between the illusive religious relief and acceptance of death as a clear end. Music explores the extremes of the artistic expression, more dynamic than ever, from the harshness of the thrashing roots of the band to the polyphonic movie soundtrack approach that characterizes Cultura Tres. The band has never been afraid to take chances and this album proves it. The brooding cocktail of classic psychedelic rock, 90's death metal and gloomy grunge makes their South American Sludge a unique recipe.

The eight songs orchestrate to the detail the emotions of every word sang, yet this isn't a record that comes to tell a full story. Instrumental parts often let the thoughts of the listener ask their own questions, give their own answers, explore their own fears...

The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Alejandro Londono and recorded in Cultura Tres studios by Juan De Ferrari and Alejandro Londono. Rezando Al Miedo, will be released on CD in UK by Devouter Records and in South America by the Argentinean label Cumpa Records. The digital version of the record will be available on the same date as well.
