DREAM THEATER's MIKE MANGINI Reveals His Seven Favourite Drummers; List Includes NEIL PEART, RINGO STARR

Dream Theater drummer Mike Mangini recently unveiled a collection of artwork, titled Symmetry Beyond Planck.  In this short video, Mangini counts down the seven drummers who have shaped his style. See Mangini's entire collection today at MikeManginiArt.com.

In the clip below, Mike discusses his hopes for those that collect his artwork:

One of the most requested pieces so far in the collection, "Event Horizon Escape", can be seen below.

In the video below, Mangini discusses how drummers can view his artwork:

Utilizing a variety of lit drumsticks and techniques, much like a painter would use brushes with paint, Mangini has crafted this art collection for canvas built from rhythm. The collection titled Symmetry Beyond Planck showcases his unique approach to the shapes found in his drumming techniques. In the clip below, Mangini discusses how shapes and symmetry are an important component within his playing as well as his artwork:

Check out a brief video trailer for Mangini's artwork collection:

To create the artwork, Mike Mangini collaborated with art team/publisher SceneFour. Based in Los Angeles, SceneFour is committed to the creation and release of collaborative artwork with music visionaries. The mediums of rhythm-on-canvas and guitar-on-canvas are the cornerstones of Scene Four’s creative history.

Toby Jepson’s WAYWARD SONS - Acoustic Version Of “Until The End” Streaming; Video

Toby Jepson’s WAYWARD SONS - Acoustic Version Of “Until The End” Streaming; Video

Wayward Sons’ debut album, Ghosts Of Yet To Come, will be released on September 15th. An acoustic version of the song “Until The End” is included in the new video below:

Wayward Sons is a UK guitar act made up of Toby Jepson (vocals, guitar), Sam Wood (guitar), Nic Wastell (bass), Dave Kemp (keys) and Phil Martini (drums). They have an impressive resume of groups they have previously worked with - Little Angels, Gun, Spear Of Destiny, Treason Kings and Chrome Molly to name a few - which is reassuring in terms of the band as players, but doesn’t really hint at their sound. Wayward Sons sound nothing like the sum of their parts. The music is hard rock but mixed with a vitality and energy - both musically and lyrically.

Ghosts Of Yet To Come is a hugely accomplished debut album - as might be expected. From the staccato riffing of “Give It Away” to the melodic intro of first single “Until The End”, from the hard rock of “Ghosts” to 4/4 rock of “Don’t Wanna Go”, the album sounds familiar yet of its own. Toby Jepson had the basis of songs written when the band formed. Together they then took these rough song ideas and forged their own sound. Lyrically the album sees Jepson treading a far more personal line than some of his previous output.

“I feel I have unfinished business, stories still left to tell, points to make, noise to create, all of the above... besides, it wasn't a choice, more of a need. My intention is very simple. I want to write about what makes me tick; about what I believe in. Hopefully you will believe in it too. It will be warts and all,” says Jepson.

The album was produced by Wayward Sons (Toby Jepson’s previous credits as a songwriter and producer include the likes of Katie Melua, The Virgin Marys, The Answer and Toseland) and Chris D’Adda (Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds).

Tracklisting:

QUEEN Classic “It's A Hard Life” Featured In New Guitar Tutorial From BRIAN MAY; Video

QUEEN Classic “It's A Hard Life” Featured In New Guitar Tutorial From BRIAN MAY; Video

In 1983, Star Licks Productions created a series of instructional videos featuring well-known musicians demonstrating their unique musical styles and techniques. The portfolio debuted with a wide-ranging group of players including Steve Lukather of Toto, Black Sabbath’s Tony Iommi, guitarist Albert Lee, and acclaimed guitarist/educator Wolf Marshall.

In one of the videos, Queen’s Brian May discussed his equipment and techniques, and demonstrates a number of his guitar solos. He covers both famous and lesser known Queen songs, including “Brighton Rock”, “Tie Your Mother Down”, “Somebody To Love”, “It's Late”, “Dead On Time”, “Put Out The Fire”, “It's A Hard Life”, “Keep Yourself Alive”, “Jesus”, “Father To Son” and “Crazy Little Thing Called Love”.

Watch a clip featuring “It's A Hard Life” below.

The programme was produced and directed by Mark Freed and Robert Decker, and recorded at Sarm West, London, England. The video was originally released in 1983 and later reissued in 1993/4.

Note from Brian: “Mark initially came to me with an idea for making audio cassettes of guitarists explaining their techniques. It seemed a good one and we arranged to meet and make it happen. But I said ... if we’re going to the trouble of recording this stuff, why not film it as well, and make it into a Video Cassette ?! So we made a ‘pilot’ video, and people liked it, and this became the template for a whole collection of videos which, I think, stand up very well to this day. Maybe we should do an update?!”

Reformed NITRO Feat. LAMB OF GOD's CHRIS ADLER: Lyric Video For New Song 'It Won't Die'

Reformed NITRO Feat. LAMB OF GOD's CHRIS ADLER: Lyric Video For New Song 'It Won't Die'

The lyric video for "It Won't Die", the first song from the reformed NITRO, featuring guitar virtuoso Michael Angelo Batio, vocalist Jim Gillette and LAMB OF GOD drummer Chris Adler, can be seen below.

The new NITRO disc is being helmed by producer Kane Churko, who has previously worked with DISTURBED, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, IN THIS MOMENT, HELLYEAH and PAPA ROACH. In addition to producing the disc, Churko is contributing his songwriting talents to the project.

Joining Batio, Gillette and Adler on the new NITRO album is bassist and five-time Grammy Award winner Victor Wooten.

Gillette told Metal Rules about the musical direction of the new NITRO material: "It's very, very heavy. I don't think you can get any heavier.

"It's funny — the first run with NITRO, we started off super heavy," he continued. "I don't want to blame anyone as we had the ultimate decision, but it got shaped and molded by guys in suits that had no clue. All they wanted us to do was to sing higher and play faster. It spun out of control. If the goal was to be the fastest and the highest, we achieved our goal. We just had the wrong goal. [Laughs] Our goal should have been to write some kick-ass heavy metal. You have to bend a little; otherwise the checks stop coming. This time we didn't have any men in suits telling us what to do. We are doing what we always envisioned what NITRO should be."

Batio told the "Talking Metal" podcast that the new NITRO songs would feature a different vocal and musical approach to what the band was previously known for.

"Jim has a great death metal voice that he didn't have back then and he's going to be singing," the guitarist said. "There is going to be singing and there's going to be super-heavy death sounds.

"To categorize what we are doing — think part LAMB OF GOD and a very small part that nods to the past [of NITRO], only because Jim is singing first and the music is super, super aggressive. I am using all seven strings on the guitar. It's mean. It's really mean."

Regarding how Adler got involved with the project in the first place, Michael said: "Neither one of us actually knew him. We were at my house, recording demos and writing songs. I'm a really good drum programmer. I'm doing these advanced-level drums and Jim goes to me, 'Who do you think we should get for drums?' We're shaking out heads and he goes, 'Chris Adler.' And I'm thinking, 'LAMB OF GOD's drummer?' Neither one of us ever met him, but, I've worked with a publicist named Suzanne Penley; her significant other, Dave Vincent from MORBID ANGEL, he's a super-close friend of mine, and she works with Chris. So I called Suzanne and I told her we're interested in getting Chris for the album, and it turned out Chris is a fan of mine! And so the whole thing just worked itself out and Chris is in the band now."

Michael added: "He's absolutely fantastic, my favorite metal drummer. There's not many people when you listen to drums you know who it is — and he's one of those. He's got a very distinct style and he can play anything."

A release date for the new NITRO album will be announced soon.

Cooper fuses the band's musical and conceptual ideas forming a piece of art that embodies the complexity of the bands music.

Mark Cooper comments, "The general idea was to create a scene where gods from beyond time and space are invading 3D-reality and taking over. They are chaotic beings that can take any form at will and manifest anything with their imaginations."

HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD To Release 'V' Album In October; 'California Dreaming' Video Available

HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD To Release 'V' Album In October; 'California Dreaming' Video Available

HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD will release its fifth full-length album, "V" (Five), on October 27. The music video for the disc's first single, "California Dreaming", can be seen below. Powered by neck-snapping guitars and fast and furious bars, the song cycles between guttural rapping and quick quips. Everything culminates on the choral chant "We never sleep, in California we're dreaming."

"It dissects both sides of California," HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD's J-Dog reveals. "You've got the glitz, glamour, sun, and surf. Then, you've got the super-fucked side of people not being able to afford rent, celebrities being assholes, and that fake façade.

"We wanted to do a heavy song with a RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS-esque chorus. It's an old school vibe explored in a new way."

"We're five brothers, and this is our fifth record," affirms Johnny 3 Tears. "Nothing gets to the essence of the music like this number does. Numerology has a lot of power. When we said 'Five', it just made sense. The fact that we could all agree on one word codifies who we are. It also nods back to 'No. 5' from our first album, because it was our fifth song. Moreover, it hints at this secret society of fans supporting us for the past decade. The number is significant, and this is a significant moment for us."

HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD has also announced a new set of dates in support of "V", which will begin on September 30 at the Louder Than Life festival. Tickets and VIP Packages for all shows go on sale this Friday, July 28 at 10 a.m. local in each city. For all U.S. headline shows, BUTCHER BABIES will serve as direct support.

DEAD CROSS Feat. MIKE PATTON, DAVE LOMBARDO: 'Obedience School' Video

DEAD CROSS Feat. MIKE PATTON, DAVE LOMBARDO: 'Obedience School' Video

"Obedience School", the new Dennis Bersales-directed video from DEAD CROSS, the Southern California outfit featuring drummer Dave Lombardo (ex-SLAYER, SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, MISFITS) and singer Mike Patton (FAITH NO MORE), can be seen below. The song is taken from DEAD CROSS's self-titled debut album, which will be released on August 4 via Ipecac Recordings. The effort was helmed by producer Ross Robinson, who has previously worked with KORN, DEFTONES, SEPULTURA and LIMP BIZKIT, among others, and was mastered at Golden Mastering in Ventura, California.

DEAD CROSS, which is rounded out by Justin Pearson (THE LOCUST, RETOX, HEAD WOUND CITY) and Michael Crain (RETOX, FESTIVAL OF DEAD DEER), last year parted ways with singer Gabe Serbian.

"Dead Cross" features a glow-in-the-dark cover (CD/LP) created by Eric Livingston, with vinyl available in a limited edition gold and a clear/red/black swirl.

Joining DEAD CROSS on the bulk of their North American tour is SECRET CHIEFS 3. The San Francisco-based outfit, who describe themselves as "an ever-unfolding musical vision," features Patton's former MR. BUNGLE bandmate Trey Spruance. "I have no idea what kind of chaos it will conjure on stage or in the audience," said Lombardo of the five-week outing, continuing, "but I know it's going to be a hell of a good time."

The late-summer tour kicks off on August 10 at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California and includes a stop at Riot Fest in Chicago.

Patton told Rolling Stone that he got involved with DEAD CROSS after reaching out to Lombardo to see if he could release the band's album on Ipecac. After getting a text from the drummer asking him to join the group, "my jaw dropped," the singer said. "I was like, 'Who, me? Hmm …' And I think it took like all of 30 seconds, but in a sarcastic way, I'm like, 'Yeah, of course. I can do this. Are you sure you want me?' So I kind of second-guessed him a little bit. And he said, 'Man, you'd be our dream vocalist.' And then it was just a matter of logistics. I decided to record it here in my basement, which is fitting. It shouldn't sound too polished."

Regarding DEAD CROSS's musical direction, Patton said: "To me, it is a traditional hardcore record. It is very pointed, direct and visceral. Like, I wasn't going to play keyboards, add samples or any kind of orchestration. It was like, 'Yo, just go for it.' In some ways, it reminded me of stuff that we had collectively all grown up with and loved when we were like teenagers — bands like the ACCÜSED, DEEP WOUND or SIEGE, stuff that was just brutal, uncompromising and right to the point. I was listening to all those bands again before this came to be, so it was already back infused in my blood. And now I got a chance to do a pencil-in-your-eye record."

Lombardo concurred, telling Rolling Stone: "The album is only 28 minutes long. And the funny thing is [SLAYER's] 'Reign In Blood' was 29 minutes. This album carries so much anger and frustration. You hear it in my drumming. It was the perfect birth of a hardcore album. It's one of the most brutal albums I've ever done."

VIXEN Vocalist JANET GARDNER: More Solo Album Details Revealed

VIXEN Vocalist JANET GARDNER: More Solo Album Details Revealed

Janet Gardner, best known as the lead vocalist of the all-female rock band VIXEN, will release her self-titled debut solo album on August 18 via Pavement Entertainment in conjunction with Pavement's cohorts Eternal Sound Records for Europe. All songs were written, performed and produced by Gardner and her husband of more than ayear, Justin James, a guitarist, songwriter and producer who has previously worked with STAIND, COLLECTIVE SOUL and TYKETTO.

Gardner told Unrated Magazine about her solo debut: "This is a very diverse collection of music. Justin and I combined forces with hard rock influences from the last four decades. If you like the seventies, the song 'The Good Or The Bye' is the song for you. If you like the eighties, 'If You Want Me', 'Candle' and 'Hippycrite' are for you. If you like the nineties, you might dig 'Your Problem Now' and 'The Grind', but they all have a common thread that is simply our sound together."

Regarding how the songwriting process for the album compared to that in VIXEN, Gardner said: "Every creative relationship is different. Justin and I are married, so we obviously have tons of trust in one another. No one has any expectations of us, so we have a lot of freedom to do whatever we want. With VIXEN, we have an established musical style, so there is always that 'Is this right for VIXEN?' question looming over the writing process, but we have known each other for years, so it's very comfortable to present ideas."

"Janet Gardner" track listing:

01. Rat Hole02. Hippycrite03. If You Want Me04. Candle05. Your Problem Now06. Let It Be Over07. Lost08. The Grind09. Best Friend10. The Good Or The Bye

CYHRA Feat. Former IN FLAMES, AMARANTHE Members: First Live Show Announced

CYHRA Feat. Former IN FLAMES, AMARANTHE Members: First Live Show Announced

CYHRA, the new band featuring former IN FLAMES members Peter Iwers (bass) and Jesper Strömblad (guitar) alongside ex-AMARANTHE singer Joacim "Jake E" Lundberg and LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY drummer Alex Landenburg, will make its live debut on October 27 at Nosturi in Helsinki, Finland.

CYHRA recently recorded its debut album at Top Floor Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden for a fall 2017 release via Spinefarm.

Speaking to AntiHero Magazine, Jake stated about CYHRA's formation: "I have been friends with Jesper for a long time, probably ten years. We met for the first time when I was working for IN FLAMES as a pyro technician back in the day. That was also when I got to know Peter. We had been friends since then. I was considering to make a solo album, and I would say that I have no idea what I'm going to do, but I'm probably going to write some songs as well. And he asked me, 'Would you do the vocals on my solo album?' And I said, 'Of course. Would you be interested in playing guitar on whatever I'm doing?' And he said yes. And then we started to talk about what our solo albums, projects, whatever it was meant to be would sound like and when we were discussing that we just realized that okay, we want the same. We want to make the same album. So that's where it all came to be and then we decided to start writing songs together. So, we were actually talking over a cup of coffee on a Friday and then on Monday we actually sat down in the studio and we started working on the first song. So that was really, really good. And then when we were doing the same thing there, we didn't know what to do. But after a couple of songs, everything started to come together. Then Jesper said, 'Okay what are we going to do?' And I said that I had the perfect drummer for this band, and that's Alex Landenburg. I said that you are going to love this guy. And a couple of months later we all met, and Jesper and Alex became best friends instantly. And then Jesper said that it would be cool if Peter would like to join. And so we asked him and he was still the bassist for IN FLAMES, and he said, 'Yeah, absolutely, I will gladly jump on board of this ship. But just to let you know, I am going to still be a member of IN FLAMES as well.' We were cool with that and then things happened like they did. Peter eventually decided to part ways with IN FLAMES. So now we're here recording the first album."

Regarding the CYHRA sound, Jake said: "It is hard to describe what we sound like because we've been writing for almost a year. We've been influenced by so many different bands. We are, of course, influenced by ourselves. Because like, as the main songwriter in all our different projects before, you know, like, Jesper has his touch of things, I have the touch on my side, and also the other guys. Of course, you will find similarities in our former bands. But I won't say that we have reinvented the wheel in any way, but it's still something that sounds really, really fresh and new, even though music is music. You could always probably find similarities. But I would not say that it sounds like old AMARANTHE, or that it sounds like IN FLAMES. But you could completely, you know, recognize yourself within these boundaries."

Jake E announced his departure from AMARANTHE in February, explaining at the time that he began to feel that "my place both on the albums and live was reduced; I felt like I was superfluous… I started to feel more like a backing singer."

Iwers issued a statement in November saying that he was leaving IN FLAMES "to pursue other endeavors." He has since been replaced on the road by Bryce Paul, a member of the Southern California pop-rock outfit IVES.

Strömblad quit IN FLAMES in February 2010 in order to continue receiving treatment for his alcohol addiction. He later formed THE RESISTANCE with Marco Aro (vocals, THE HAUNTED) and Glenn Ljungström (guitar, ex-IN FLAMES), only to exit that band in March 2016. THE RESISTANCE bassist Rob Hakemo later slammed Jesper in an interview, calling the guitarist "an alcoholic" and "drug addict" who "doesn't want to [get] sober."

CHESTER BENNINGTON 911 Call Released: 'He Killed Himself... He Hung Himself' (Audio)

CHESTER BENNINGTON 911 Call Released: 'He Killed Himself... He Hung Himself' (Audio)

TMZ has obtained audio of the 911 call made by a driver on the morning that LINKIN PARK singer Chester Bennington was found dead at his Southern California home.

The police released the phone call made by the driver, who was apparently in Palos Verdes near Los Angeles on Thursday, July 20 to pick up Chester for a scheduled photo shoot. Bennington's housekeeper could by heard crying and screaming in the background as the driver told the operator: "Hi there. I'm working. I'm a driver. And I just got to the location and his housekeeper came out and said that he, unfortunately, killed himself… I haven't seen him. I'm sitting in my car. His housekeeper came out and said that she found him dead, unfortunately."

He went on to explain: "I asked, I said, 'Is he cold? Is he warm?', and she said, 'No, he's dead, he's been hanging,' and she's talking to his wife right now….

"It's a home. [I'm in] Palos Verdes Estates. [He's in his] mid-forties."

Then the housekeeper's screams of "Oh my God" can be heard, while a nurse asks if he's been inside the property.

"No, not at all," he concludes, before the call is ended.

Listen to the audio below.

A Los Angeles County coroner said on Friday that Bennington's "death is confirmed to be suicide by hanging." He added that "a bottle of alcohol was found in the room, but it wasn't close to the body and was not full."

Bennington had been candid about mental health battles in numerous interviews over the years. He was an open book when it came to the darkness he wrestled with, from talking about depression, anxiety and substance abuse, to revealing that he was molested when he was seven years old.

This monumental show brought down the curtain on a career that spanned almost half a century.

The sold-out performance marked the culmination of a global tour that saw the band play to over one and a half million fans. With their inception in 1968, BLACK SABBATH pioneered a sound that would form the basis of heavy metal, and to this day continues to influence bands the world over.

SLAYER's TOM ARAYA On JEFF HANNEMAN: 'I Feel Like I Should Have Done More To Help Him'

SLAYER's TOM ARAYA On JEFF HANNEMAN: 'I Feel Like I Should Have Done More To Help Him'

On Sunday, July 23, Elliott Fullam of Little Punk People conducted an interview with SLAYER frontman Tom Araya backstage at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. You can now watch the chat below. A couple of excerpts follow (transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET).

On when SLAYER will begin recording its next album:

Tom: "I don't know. When we started doing this… when I started doing this, I always wanted to be in a band and play music. And then I ended up hooking up with four guys that were like-minded, just like me, and we clicked. And then we just started playing and jamming, and then we started writing our own stuff and jamming. Next thing you know, someone says, 'Hey, I wanna do a song. I wanna do a record.' And we just kept doing that. Thirty-five years later, I find myself in a place where I never thought I'd ever be. I never really once thought about ever being where I am. And it's a business. And that was something that I really enjoyed doing because I loved it, and it slowly somehow turned into a business. It wasn't about making music, [it was about] the business of making music. So what I'm leading into is that we had Jeff [Hanneman, late SLAYER guitarist], who passed away a few years back. We never really had our business matters taken care of, as far as the membership and the band and all that stuff. That's something that me and Kerry [King, SLAYER guitarist] are, at the moment, in the middle of getting all that squared away. So as far as the next record, apparently we did record a bunch of songs, and we finished the songs for this album, and there was, like, another six or seven songs. We'll see. [Laughs]"

On whether he ever thinks about Jeff Hanneman when he is onstage playing with SLAYER:

Tom: "Yeah, yeah, because I look over and I see Gary [Holt, SLAYER guitarist] playing, but, yeah, I think about him. Especially when we do songs that me and him co-wrote. Me and him were collaborators — we wrote a lot of songs together, me and Jeff. So there's a lot of songs that we play where it's, like… And then this new album [2015's 'Repentless'], it was kind of a collaboration between me and Kerry, but not. [Laughs] That's a clue. [Laughs] That's a clue right there; I just gave you a big clue. But, yeah, I think about him a lot. Especially when we do… 'cause we always end our set with 'Angel Of Death', and that's a tribute to him. So, yeah, I think about him. You just wonder… You always think about how you wish you could have or should have done things different that went on towards the latter period of his life. In hindsight, you always wanna do… you think you should have done more, and that's how I feel: I feel like we could have, or I should have done more to help him."

Araya told Guitar World magazine in a 2015 interview that Jeff hadn't been involved in any discussions about making a new studio album prior to his passing. "Jeff kind of ... [pauses to think] He was a hard person to talk to," Tom said. "When he disappeared, he wouldn't answer calls or return texts. I would reach out to him at points, like, 'Dude, are you ever gonna respond to anything just to let me know you're alive?' And he eventually would. At one point, we had a conversation dealing with the issue of Dave [Lombardo, drums] leaving, and Jeff said he had worked out an idea for a song. And he sent that out to everybody. So he was working on stuff, but I think the main thing was really his ability to perform. It was his strumming hand, which was an important thing in the music we play, and that got to him. We kept telling him to practice, like, 'It'll get better! You might have some difficulties, but it'll get better.' We tried to encourage him to keep playing music."

Added King: "From, like, seven months after [Jeff] got hurt, we had him come to rehearsal before every tour, trying to get him back in. He was trying, but he just wasn't there. The hardest thing I ever had to say was, 'You're not ready.' That dude's been my sidekick for twenty-five years, and I have to tell him he can't go on tour in the band he's been in all his life. That sucked."

Asked if Jeff was hurt by that, Kerry said: "I don't know. That's tough. My whole thing was Gary's been out with us, for however long it was at that point, and he's fucking spot-on money. I said to Jeff, 'As much as people are gonna see you up there and not grasp, or forget, that maybe the playing is not perfect, I don't want that on YouTube for you to live with for the rest of your life.' You have to think about stupid shit like that now. But that was tough. We kept trying to get him in and it wasn't coming around. If he hadn't passed, I don't know if he ever would have been good enough to just step back into being Jeff Hanneman again."

Holt, who is still a member of San Francisco Bay Area thrash icons EXODUS, has been the touring guitarist for SLAYER since January 2011 when Hanneman, contracted necrotizing fasciitis, also known as flesh-eating disease, from a spider bite in his backyard. The infection ravaged the flesh and tissues of Hanneman's arm, leading to numerous surgeries, skin grafts and intense periods of rehab that forced him into semi-retirement and left him near death at several points.

Hanneman eventually died in May 2013 from alcohol-related cirrhosis of the liver. He is credited for writing many of SLAYER's classic songs, including "Angel Of Death" and "South Of Heaven".

KORN May Re-Team With Producer NICK RASKULINECZ For Next Album

KORN May Re-Team With Producer NICK RASKULINECZ For Next Album

Stephen Wayne of iRockRadio.com conducted an interview with KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch before the band's July 23 concert at Xfinity Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut. You can now watch the chat below.

Speaking about the powerful production of KORN's latest album, 2016's "The Serenity Of Suffering", and the band's plans for a follow-up effort, Welch said: "A lot of that was Nick Raskulinecz. All these bands that you guys hear out in the world, without the producer, we would not be at the level that we're at, as far as sound and how you feel the music — from all the bands. Producers bring it together. They're like the next bandmember. And so we look forward to working with Nick Raskulinecz again — hopefully this [next] record."

He continued: "Usually you stop a tour cycle and then you get together and you come up with the plan for the next record. So we're talking [about working with] Nick and there's other that we've talked about too, but we'll see. So we're still touring, and we're gonna do a little bit more touring — not in the U.S. anymore maybe. But we'll see next year what we're gonna do."

"The Serenity Of Suffering" came out at the end of October. The track "A Different World" features a guest appearance from SLIPKNOT and STONE SOUR frontman Corey Taylor.

KORN and STONE SOUR have joined forces for a summer tour, which kicked off on June 16 at the USANA Amphitheatre in Salt Lake City, Utah. The trek will continue through early August.

QUIET RIOT Releases First Video In Almost Three Decades: 'Can't Get Enough'

QUIET RIOT Releases First Video In Almost Three Decades: 'Can't Get Enough'

"Can't Get Enough", the new video from QUIET RIOT, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's new album, "Road Rage", which will be released on August 4 via Frontiers Music Srl.

QUIET RIOT is led by drummer Frankie Banali, who is joined by bassist Chuck Wright (who has been in and out of the band since 1982), guitarist Alex Grossi (who has been in the band since 2004), and new vocalist James Durbin.

Durbin, who became known as the "metal guy" on 2011's season of "American Idol" after performing "Living After Midnight" and "Breaking The Law" with JUDAS PRIEST, hooked up with QUIET RIOT after the dismissal of Seann Nicols (a.k.a. Sheldon Tarsha; formerly of ADLER'S APPETITE). Nicols was with QUIET RIOT for just a few months, but long enough to record the vocals for an early version of "Road Rage".

Banali told Billboard.com that, lyrically, "Can't Get Enough" comes from Durbin's life experiences: "From that perspective, I think a lot of people can relate to what this song is about. Musically, it is a very straight-ahead, driving rock song with great melodies in the tradition of QUIET RIOT."

"Can't Get Enough" is the first video the band has shot in almost three decades. Banali told Billboard.com the group decided to make the video because it felt "the timing is right to give the fans a visual of the band. Between 1983 and 1987, QUIET RIOT videos were well represented on MTV. While obviously much has changed since, it seemed the time was right to release a video to show everyone what QUIET RIOT is all about in the 21st century."

He added: "The band has always made fun videos, and this was certainly in keeping with that tradition."

"Road Rage" was originally scheduled for release in the spring of 2017, but with the injection of newfound energy for the band with the addition of Durbin in the vocalist slot, the band decided to scrap the original sessions and record a new version of the album with the new and improved lineup.

"Road Rage" track listing:

01. Can't Get Enough02. Getaway03. Roll This Joint04. Freak Flag05. Wasted06. Still Wild07. Make A Way08. Renegades09. The Road10. Shame11. Knock Em Down

Durbin made his live debut with QUIET RIOT on March 18 at The Cotillion in Wichita, Kansas.

Banali revived QUIET RIOT in 2010, three years after DuBrow's death, along with Grossi and Wright. The group went through two vocalists — Mark Huff and Scott Vokoun — before settling on Jizzy Pearl in 2013. Pearl announced his exit from QUIET RIOT last October.

SLIPKNOT Releases New Preview Clip From 'Day Of The Gusano' Documentary

SLIPKNOT Releases New Preview Clip From 'Day Of The Gusano' Documentary

A new SLIPKNOT documentary brought to you by MusicScreen will be premiered in more than a thousand screens across the world as a one-night-only cinematic spectacle on September 6.

Directed by SLIPKNOT's own M. Shawn Crahan, a.k.a. Clown, "Day Of The Gusano" documents the Iowa band's first-ever visit to Mexico in December 2015 and features exclusive interviews with SLIPKNOT's members talking about the importance of their fanbase and the band's long-awaited first-ever show in Mexico City.

A preview clip of the rehearsals for the Mexico concert, taken from "Day Of The Gusano", can be seen below.

Talking about the movie, Clown says: "SLIPKNOT still has dreams for itself. Finally playing Mexico was one of them. It's been a surreal life of rock and roll for SLIPKNOT and the fact that the dreams still go on for us is simply incredible. Thank you." Guitarist Jim Root adds: "We had such a great time at Knotfest Mexico... Not only with all the friends and bands that were there, but with the fans and the crowd we had to document it with. Now we get to share it with the world." The 90-minute documentary also chronicles the rabid devotion of the Mexican maggots and sees the band hearing personal, emotive stories from some of their fans, all interspersed with footage from SLIPKNOT's incendiary live show at the inaugural Knotfest México. The film features a full surround soundtrack, so you'll not only hear the show, but you'll 'feel' it as if you were actually there. SLIPKNOT frontman Corey Taylor told the 97.1 The Eagle radio station last month that the band was "not really doing anything right now." He explained: "I know we're kind of slowly starting to write some music. Other than that, we're just kind of taking some time off. Clown's gonna direct some movies, Sid's gonna do some stuff… We're all kind of doing our own thing… But that's it. I mean, really. Next year is everybody kind of doing their own thing, and then probably after that, we will slowly but surely start to get together to do some SLIPKNOT stuff."

SLIPKNOT's touring cycle in support of ".5: The Gray Chapter", ended in November, with Taylor returning to his other band STONE SOUR this year.

".5: The Gray Chapter" was released following a six-year hiatus during which founding SLIPKNOT bassist Paul Gray died and drummer Joey Jordison was dismissed.

One of last gigs of "The Gray Chapter" touring cycle saw SLIPKNOT performing its 2001 second LP, "Iowa", live in its entirety for the first time during the band's set at their annual Knotfest.

".5: The Gray Chapter" sold around 132,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 1 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores in October 2014 via Roadrunner.

Gray died in 2010 from a drug overdose, while Jordison was let go in December 2013, just before SLIPKNOT began recording the last album.

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY: 'Psychosis' Album Gets Official Release Date

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY: 'Psychosis' Album Gets Official Release Date

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, the band led by brothers and founding SEPULTURA members Max (also of SOULFLY) and Igor Cavalera, will release its fourth album, "Psychosis", on November 17 via Napalm Records. The disc, which was produced by longtime friend Arthur Rizk, was recorded primarily at a studio in Phoenix, Arizona.

Speaking to Metal Wani's Jake Patton, Max stated about the follow-up to 2014's "Pandemonium": "The album right now is finished. It was produced by Arthur Rizk, our friend and a great producer — an upcoming, underground producer. And he did a great job. I love the record. There are nine songs. We've got one song with Justin [Broadrick] from GODFLESH — just a great NAILBOMB, GODFLESH, CAVALERA kind of song. The rest is all pure thrash madness. And we had it mastered a couple of days ago by Joel Grind from TOXIC HOLOCAUST; he mastered the album. And it's great, man. It's a beast of an album. I think a lot of people are are gonna be surprised when they hear it. It's, for me, the best of all the CAVALERA albums, my favorite one. And it's got the same intensity and energy of the old stuff like [SEPULTURA's] 'Beneath The Remains' and 'Arise'. So a lot of people are gonna be happy to hear that."

Max also talked in more detail about the lyrical themes covered on the new CAVALERA CONSPIRACY dic. He said: "It's a bit… kind of like a mix. There's some stuff about what's going on right now, so there's some terrorist stuff in songs like 'Impalement Execution' and 'Terror Tactics' and 'Excruciating'. And there's some kind of fantasy stuff, like 'Crom', which is the father of Conan. That was a really fun song to make. We have a song called 'Insane' — it's about the state of the world, with Donald Trump and the bombings in England and France. And then, of course, there's an instrumental called 'Psychosis', which is the name of the album, which I think is cool, because I think it also reflects the state of mankind right now, the state of the world right now. It's pretty much psycho — we're living in a psycho age, with madness everywhere we go. The GODFLESH song is called 'Hellfire' — it's about drones. It was inspired by a movie called 'Eye In The Sky' and a movie called 'Good Kill', which is about drones and how people just sit in an air-conditioned office in Nevada and bomb people in Afghanistan and Pakistan with those crazy drones. It was a really cool song built around that, and I really love Justin from GODFLESH's vocals. He sings more in the line of the 'Streetcleaner' vocals from the early GODFLESH, so that came out really nice."

Asked if Max and Igor's recent tour on which they celebrated the twentieth anniversary of SEPULTURA's classic album "Roots" by performing the LP in its entirety influenced the musical content of the new CAVALERA CONSPIRACY material, Max said: "The 'Psychosis' song is very tribal. Some of the recordings were done with Igor in Uganda, in Africa. Igor went there for a thing he did with his wife, like helping people from Uganda, a humanitarian kind of thing. And he recorded a bunch of cool sounds when he was in Africa. So we created this kind of… almost like a voodoo, ambient kind of real tribal… It could have been on [SEPULTURA's] 'Roots'; this song could be on the 'Roots' album. It's got a really great buildup with the drums, and then it has real cool melodic guitars on it — almost like prog rock a little bit. It's kind of like the one 'off' song of the album that really is not like the rest of the record. But it's very cool, it's very tribal and definitely influenced by 'Roots'."

Igor told HeavyMetal.dk last month that it was "good" for him and Max to have Rizk involved with the new CAVALERA CONSPIRACY album because Arthur "is super passionate about music, the same way we are. So to have someone like him coming in and helping us with ideas and things like that, I think it's gonna surprise a lot of people, 'cause he understands a lot about what's going on today in music, and that's pretty cool — that exchange with us, with the old-school ideas with also someone that understands music right now. I'm far more excited than I've been in many years to put out a record like this. So I have to say I'm quite into it, what we're doing right now."

Max concurred, telling HeavyMetal.dk: "[Arthur] captured the classic Max and Igor in a way that's never really quite been captured before. It was always his objective from the beginning — he wanted to capture the soul of the brothers, and I think he did. I think it's quite amazing, looking back, that somebody can get that out of you after twenty-five years, man. That's awesome. But, like Igor said, there's a lot of noise also — between songs we're gonna hear all this kind of crazy just pure noise and heaviness, which is unheard of. So I'm very excited."

"Pandemonium" sold around 2,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 177 on The Billboard 200 chart.

CAVALERA CONSPIRACY's previous CD, 2011's "Blunt Force Trauma" opened with around 5,000 units to land at No. 122.

The band's first CD, 2008's "Inflikted", registered a first-week tally of 9,000 copies to enter the chart at No. 72.

"Pandemonium" was produced by John Gray, who has previously worked with SOULFLY.

MOTÖRHEAD To Release 'Under Cöver' In September

MOTÖRHEAD To Release 'Under Cöver' In September

One thing Lemmy Kilmister, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee liked to do throughout their years together in MOTÖRHEAD was grab a favorite song by another artist and give it a good old fashioned "Motörheading." To run them through the Motörizer, if you will. To rock them, roll them and even give them an extra twist and edge. In celebration of some of those finest moments, the band will release "Under Cöver", a collection of some of their best covers, and a collection which will include the previously unreleased version of David Bowie's timeless classic "Heroes". Recorded during the "Bad Magic" sessions in 2015 by Cameron Webb, it was one of the last songs the band recorded together.

"It's such a great Bowie song, one of his best, and I could only see great things coming out of it from us, and so it proved to be," says Phil Campbell, "and Lemmy ended up loving our version." "He was very, very proud of it," says Mikkey Dee, "not only because it turned out so well but because it was fun! Which is what projects like this should be — fun!" "Under Cöver" will be available on September 1 in 1CD (digipak), 1x 180-gram black vinyl in gatefold, super deluxe boxset (1CD digipak, 1x 180-gram black vinyl and VIP guest pass), digital audio and MFiT Audio. To that ethic, the rest of the album contains loud and proud, raucous and raging rock 'n' roll takes on the likes of "God Save The Queen" (SEX PISTOLS), "Cat Scratch Fever" (TED NUGENT), "Rockaway Beach" (THE RAMONES), "Breaking The Law" (JUDAS PRIEST) and "Whiplash" (METALLICA) which earned the band a Grammy in 2005 for "Best Metal Performance." "We were happy with them at the time and we're happy with them now!" affirms Campbell, while Dee says, "We should remember that it's about having some fun with songs that we all loved." "You touched so many lives, maybe even more than you realized. In the past few days, we've seen an outpouring of love and support, both public and private, from around the world. Talinda and the family appreciate it, and want the world to know that you were the best husband, son, and father; the family will never be whole without you.

"Talking with you about the years ahead together, your excitement was infectious. Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled — a boisterous, funny, ambitious, creative, kind, generous voice in the room is missing. We're trying to remind ourselves that the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal. After all, it was the way you sang about those demons that made everyone fall in love with you in the first place. You fearlessly put them on display, and in doing so, brought us together and taught us to be more human. You had the biggest heart, and managed to wear it on your sleeve.

"Our love for making and performing music is inextinguishable. While we don't know what path our future may take, we know that each of our lives was made better by you. Thank you for that gift. We love you, and miss you so much.

"Until we see you again, LP."

Bennington was found dead in his home in Palos Verdes near Los Angeles by one of his employees shortly before 9 a.m. on Thursday, July 20.

PINK FLOYD Legend DAVID GILMOUR’s Live At Pompeii To Be Released In September; “Rattle That Lock” Track Streaming

PINK FLOYD Legend DAVID GILMOUR’s Live At Pompeii To Be Released In September; “Rattle That Lock” Track Streaming

45 years after Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour filmed Live At Pompeii in the legendary Roman Amphitheatre there, he returned for two spectacular shows that took place on July 7th and 8th, 2016, part of his year-long tour in support of his #1 album, Rattle That Lock. The performances were the first-ever rock concerts for an audience in the stone Roman amphitheatre, and, for two nights only, the 2,600 strong crowd stood exactly where gladiators would have fought in the first century AD.

David Gilmour Live At Pompeii is an audio experience on its own, while the audio-visual spectacle features lasers, pyrotechnics and a huge circular screen on which specially-created films complement selected songs. Paramount, however, is the incredible music: the show includes songs from throughout David's career, as well as many Pink Floyd classics, including “One Of These Days”, the only song that was also performed at the band’s 1971 show.

Both concerts also saw very special performances of “The Great Gig In The Sky” from The Dark Side Of The Moon, which David rarely plays as a solo artist. The 2-disc concert CD was produced by David Gilmour, and mixed by Andy Jackson and David Gilmour. The 148-minute concert film includes highlights from both shows, filmed in 4k by director Gavin Elder. DVD and Blu-ray versions contain an extra 7-minute documentary by Gavin Elder ‘Pompeii Then And Now’, while the Deluxe Blu-ray 4-disc box contains the 2xCD version, the 1xBlu-ray version, and a full 207 minutes of extra footage: 11 live performances and 5 documentaries, plus bonus collectables. Vinyl lovers can enjoy a deluxe 4xLP version in gatefold sleeves and a hardback slipcase, plus a 24-page photo booklet.

David Gilmour Live At Pompeii shows an artist at the top of his artistic game, performing incredible material with his world-class band, in a unique setting on one very special occasion. The release is set for September 29th. “Rattle That Lock” from the upcoming release is available for streaming below.

CYTOTOXIN – Gammageddon Out Now; Album Streaming In Full

Listen to the full album via the Bandcamp player below:

Gammageddon by Cytotoxin

Captured earlier this year again at Kohlekeller Studios, Gammageddon centers itself on the city of Pripyat. Named after the nearby Pripyat River, Pripyat was founded on February 1970 as the ninth nuclear city - a type of closed city - in the Soviet Union, to serve the nearby Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. It was officially proclaimed a city in 1979, and had grown to a population of nearly fifty-thousand by the time it was evacuated the day after the Chernobyl disaster in 1986. The city is now a ghost town. Gammageddon serves as a soundtrack to the horrors leading to the evacuation with its unadulterated technical extremity. At a forty-minute run time, even the deepest, densest bunkers won't protect you from this massive overindulgence of radioactive brutality.

During the night of April 26th, 1986, a world-changing accident occurred at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. A catastrophic meltdown befell Reactor No. 4, resulting in core explosions and open-air fires. Copious quantities of radioactive materials and airborne isotopes were consequently dispersed into the atmosphere and surrounding lands. The disaster has been widely regarded as the worst accident in the history of nuclear power globally. As a result, Reactor No. 4 was destroyed and is being enclosed in a concrete and lead sarcophagus to prevent further escape of radioactivity. Large areas of Europe were affected by the accident. The radioactive cloud spread as far as Norway.

Moved by devastating consequences of the event, a German band called Cytotoxin pulverized the death metal world in 2010. In 2011, Cytotoxin released their self-produced full-length, Plutonium Heaven. Just one year later, they entered Kohlekeller Studios (Aborted, Benighted) to forge their critically-lauded Radiophobia full-length released via Unique Leader Records in 2012. A stunning display of musical precision, Metal Wani awarded the record a perfect 10/10 review calling it the, "most technical music I've ever heard," further lauding its, "well-structured slams and breakdowns... This music will make you headbang till you become Nearly-Headless Nicholas!...a milestone in the world of death metal."

THE MIDNIGHT GHOST TRAIN Release “Tonight” Video

The Midnight Ghost Train have released a video for "Tonight" from their upcoming fourth opus, Cypress Ave., set to be released July 28th via Napalm Records.

"Getting a chance to produce a video like this was an absolute blast.” Says band mastermind Steve Moss “We were tired of seeing all the same type of rock videos out there; so we decided to mix heavy rock with tap dance. It's an unconventional idea, and a big risk we took to mold these different styles together, but it worked out so well. This is our favorite music video we have done thus far." Thank you to Reggie TapMan Myers for killing it for us."

The band's organic and authentic sound lives in the musics throaty vocals, deep lyrics, melancholy melodies and forceful, shaky riffs. Honest, straight-forward and peppered with woefulness.

Cypress Ave. is an absolute must for every blues and rock fan. Be prepared, for the return of The Midnight Ghost Train with their most diverse and uniquely sounding album to date.

ROADCASE ROYALE Feat. HEART's NANCY WILSON: 'First Things First' Album Due In September

ROADCASE ROYALE Feat. HEART's NANCY WILSON: 'First Things First' Album Due In September

Nancy Wilson, one of the founding members of the legendary Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame group HEART, has teamed up with former Prince's NEW POWER GENERATION band member and R&B singer Liv Warfield to form the soulful, rock supergroup ROADCASE ROYALE. The band recently signed with Loud & Proud Records and plan to release their debut album, "First Things First", on September 22. The album was produced by fellow ROADCASE ROYALE band member Dan Rothchild (HEART) along with the band.

"Nancy and Liv are magic together, and the musicianship is outstanding," said Tom Lipsky, president Loud & Proud Records. "The interesting blend of talents and influences is what makes ROADCASE ROYALE special. Most importantly, there is a fire within this group to do something original, to feed off each other and explore new creative directions. It is exciting to see that kind of passion and drive in artists that have already accomplished so much. We are proud to be their label partners."

"ROADCASE ROYALE is a band I've always wanted to be in," says Nancy Wilson. "We all write and create songs as a unit. It's an inspired democracy. Liv and Ryan both bring a whole new level of magic to our new sound. I'm amazed after devoting my life to rock music how it now feels so brand new. That's why our first album is called 'First Things First'."

Earlier this year, Rolling Stone premiered the live performance video of ROADCASE ROYALE's debut single, "Get Loud", saying, "The band builds a funky, nimble groove, led by Warfield's soulful belting and the acoustic/electric guitar attack of Wilson and Prince protégé Ryan Waters." The video was shot by celebrated photographer Neal Preston. "Get Loud", with its laid-back groove, provides a solid acoustic and electric foundation for Warfield's vocals — all about getting loud and standing up for women's equality. "Get Loud" blends this important message with the group's R&B and rock influences, resulting in a uniquely powerful track.

The name of the band, ROADCASE ROYALE came to the group during a backstage meeting they had last year. Wilson said: "When I came up with the name ROADCASE ROYALE, it was an interesting symbol to me since the big heavy-duty road cases that our amps drums and guitars travel in are much like the musicians they accompany on the road. Strong and regal looking yet all scuffed up and dented, covered in funny stickers that tell the story of a crazy traveling circus."

In addition to Wilson (guitar) and Warfield (vocals), ROADCASE ROYALE features Ryan Waters (lead guitarist) along with HEART members Chris Joyner (keys), Dan Rothchild (bass), and Ben Smith (drums). The sextet made its live debut March 25 at the fifth annual Rock Against MS benefit concert in Los Angeles.

The band will play several headline dates beginning September 10 at The Gramercy Theatre in New York and will embark on a major U.S. tour this fall.

OTHERWISE To Release 'Sleeping Lions' Album In September

OTHERWISE To Release 'Sleeping Lions' Album In September

Las Vegas rockers OTHERWISE are will release their third full-length album, "Sleeping Lions", on September 22 via Century Media.

You'd be hard pressed to find a more fitting album title than "Sleeping Lions" for latest studio release from OTHERWISE. The album hits like a revelation, jolting the listener upright and transporting them from a dreamy landscape to a wide-eyed state of consciousness textured by humility and sandblasted by the winds that weather life.

"We named the album 'Sleeping Lions' because that's what we feel like - we've been hibernating in our neon desert cave, licking our wounds and regaining our strength for the hunt," says OTHERWISE frontman Adrian Patrick, who along with guitarist Ryan Patrick, form one of the most incendiary sibling duos in modern music. "Now we're back on the prowl again, and our eyes are wide open. The album title absolutely references a bigger awareness of who we are and what we're capable of. The last thing you ever want to do is wake sleeping lions."

The twelve-track epiphany runs an emotional gamut that juxtaposes the very nature of the recordings, "Angry Heart" flowing with the frontman's blistering vocal cadences as he "fills with hate" and "embraces the monster I'm becoming." As quickly as it boils over, the rage subsides on "Blame", one of the most sensitive statements of the band's career. "If it makes it better for you, just blame it all on me," the frontman pines, bleeding into the emotional effervescence of "Bloodline Lullaby", a heart-wrenching ballad of epic proportions.

OTHERWISE is a band built on emotion and fueled by the feelings that drive our lives. Anger. Regret. Love. This isn't packaged rebellion, it's the real world. And it's what makes the band — and album — connect at such a visceral level. "Emotion is the most important element of our writing process," Adrian says. "We try to capture every aspect of the human condition so the subject matter of our songs runs the gauntlet of what it means to be alive. Every lyric comes from a very genuine and heartfelt place. There are no fictional storylines or tough-guy rhetoric in any of our tunes."

One of the album's more mature musical excursions, "Monster" takes flight in a flurry of programmed embellishments and supple guitar play, an unbridled reminder of the relationship that destroys us all but we just can't bring ourselves to leave. The risks continue on "Nothing To Me", where the symphonic grandeur boils over amidst emotional disrepair, and "Suffer", where the guitars jangle more than mangle, conveying a melodic appreciation that far outweighs a more pedestrian quest for being heavy.

"As artists, evolution is the lifeblood of creativity," continues the singer. "We spread our musical wings a bit more on this album in a concerted effort to remain true to ourselves and not conform to what others expect of us. Rock and roll is all about taking risks, and that's what we do best. If we were forced to stagnate or remain trapped in the same stylistic box, the fire inside us would burn itself out."

One can confidently call "Sleeping Lions" the most mature chapter of OTHERWISE's impressive volume of work, but don't mistake mature for soft in the middle. Quite the contrary, the band's evolution is poignant both musically and lyrically, and they steer clear of the awkward growing pains that so many other bands endure.

That's a bold statement when talking about a band whose had four singles crack the Top 20 at Active Rock radio — "Soldiers", "I Don't Apologize (1000 Pictures)", "Darker Side Of The Moon" and "Coming For The Throne" — seen "Soldiers" alone surpass eight million streams on Spotify, toured alongside such heavy hitters as STONE SOUR and PAPA ROACH, and shared festival stages on land and sea, appearing anywhere from Rock On The Range to Shiprocked, and everywhere in between.

"Both 'Weapons' and 'Sleeping Lions' are special to us on several levels," the singer continues, pointing out a few of his favorite tracks. "Not only were they co-written with two of our idols, but 'Weapons' can absolutely be considered social commentary and 'Sleeping Lions' is basically our protest song. Album closer 'Bloodline Lullaby' serves as a tribute and legacy for our family, while the bonus track 'Won't Stop' is an anthem for our better angels... We try to infuse a sense of hope into all of our songs, regardless of how angry or sad or introspective they may seem. It's always an intentional goal of ours, to leave everyone, including ourselves, with a feeling of empowerment. We are eternally seeking the light through the darkness."
