Video: Ex-IRON MAIDEN Singer BLAZE BAYLEY Performs In Geleen, The Netherlands

Video: Ex-IRON MAIDEN Singer BLAZE BAYLEY Performs In Geleen, The Netherlands

Video footage of British heavy metal vocalist Blaze Bayley (IRON MAIDEN, WOLFSBANE) performing on March 27 at Café de Meister in Geleen, The Netherlands can be seen below.

The 53-year-old Bayley, who was born in Birmingham, was the original frontman in WOLFSBANE, but left in 1994 to join MAIDEN, with whom he recorded two studio albums — 1995's "The X Factor" 1998's and "Virtual XI" — before Bruce Dickinson returned to the group.

Bayley stated in an interview about his time with IRON MAIDEN: "They were great years for me. I loved being a part of IRON MAIDEN, and I had a lot of support and encouragement from the fans as the new man in IRON MAIDEN; I had a lot of support. So I say a huge thank you to all the fans for making me feel so welcome when I was in IRON MAIDEN."

He continued: "They were great days for me, and, really, I found my true voice and my identity when I was working in IRON MAIDEN with Steve Harris and the other musicians. And then after IRON MAIDEN, my solo work, it really reflects the lessons that I learned when I was in IRON MAIDEN. So they were great days for me, and I look back very fondly, and I'm very, very proud of the work that we did together and the songs that we did."

Bayley released his eighth solo album, "Infinite Entanglement", on March 1.

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE To Perform Entire

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE To Perform Entire 'The Poison' Album Live For First Time

Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will perform their 2005 debut album, "The Poison", in its entirety for the first time ever at their Manchester, U.K. show on December 4.

The band added a second date at the Manchester Academy after the first show — on December 3 — sold out. Supported at the concerts will come from KILLWITCH ENGAGE and CANE HILL.

Asked by May The Rock Be With You what the one thing is that has stayed the same throughout his time in the band, BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE frontman Matt Tuck said: I think everyone's attitude of how they want to be in the band, just wanting to be the best band that we can be. We've never wanted to be a band that just is what it is, we've always thrived to be the biggest band in the world, and that's a very big statement to have [laughs], and a big goal to try and achieve that, and I think we've done incredibly well in having that ambition that served us so well. You know, we're never satisfied with anything — we always want bigger and better and above — and I think that's the one thing that has never changed: that ambition to be the biggest band that we can be."

Regarding what the main thing is that he takes from the experience of making and playing music for close to twenty years, Tuck said: "To just love what we do and just be happy with what we do. It's very easy to listen to other people's opinions, but the one thing we've learned as the albums have gone on is that we have to make ourselves happy; we have to be selfish in that way because we're the ones that have to stand by it and fight for it should anyone kind of feel otherwise. As soon as you start writing for the wrong reasons, it just kind of becomes not selling out, but it just doesn't feel real anymore, nothing you can genuinely be proud of, and that's something we've learnt as our records have gone on — to just make ourselves happy before anyone else, because at least if that goes tits up, at least our heads can be high as we did what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it, basically."

Watch HELLYEAH Perform In North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Watch HELLYEAH Perform In North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Fan-filmed video footage of HELLYEAH's July 3 performance at House Of Blues in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina during "The Hellpop Tour" with IN THIS MOMENT can be seen below.

HELLYEAH's fifth album, "Unden!able", debuted at No. 18 on The Billboard 200, having shifted 21,000 equivalent album units in the week ending June 9.

"Unden!able" was released on June 3 via Eleven Seven Music. The effort marks the first time HELLYEAH's current lineup — vocalist Chad Gray, guitarists Tom Maxwell and Christian Brady, drummer Vinnie Paul and bassist Kyle Sanders — has recorded together as a unit, promising a very special return to their true metal roots.

HELLYEAH's previous album, 2014's "Blood for Blood", was the album metal fans and critics were waiting for HELLYEAH to make, based on the revered metal pedigree of the individual members. Such an artistic achievement — the album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hard Rock album chart — meant the band set the bar incredibly high. HELLYEAH does not disappoint with "Unden!able". "We turned a corner with 'Blood For Blood' and we wanted to continue that path," Paul states. "It's much heavier and darker, and we take it to another extreme."

"Unden!able" is a complete work, including the cover artwork inspired by Chad Gray and designed by William "Wombat" Felch, whom the band discovered by his artistic interpretations of HELLYEAH songs on YouTube, and whom Paul labeled "like a new member of the band," is a definitive visual matching the album's sonic wrath. It's also emblematic of the metal community and the kids who find their kindred spirits in HELLYEAH. The eyes are the portal to the soul," Gray says. "There is more extremity, so I wanted it to represent looking into the eye of someone who is a member of the metal community being cast out. You always feel like a fighter. So we created this eye and the exclamation point [in the title] as the stamp on this madness. You are looking into the soul of a metalhead."

New Footage Of SEBASTIAN BACH, STEVE VAI And AKIRA TAKASAKI Performing "Yankee Rose" And "Shyboy" On Monsters Of Rock Cruise February 2016 Online

New Footage Of SEBASTIAN BACH, STEVE VAI And AKIRA TAKASAKI Performing "Yankee Rose" And "Shyboy" On Monsters Of Rock Cruise February 2016 Online

New fan-filmed video from the Monsters Of Rock Cruise, which took place in February 2016, has surfaced on YouTube. Check out footage of Sebastian Bach, Steve Vai and Loudness guitarist Akira Taksaki performing the songs "Yankee Rose" (David Lee Roth) and "Shyboy" (Talas) below.

BraveWords has received a note from Harper Collins/Dey Street Books stating that: "The Sebastian Bach book has been delayed and we don’t have a confirmed publication date as of yet."

The former Skid Row frontman was scheduled to release his autobiography, 18 And Life On Skid Row, on June 28th.

“My favorite photos in the book are the day that I went to see KISS in 1979 at Maple Leaf Gardens,” Bach told Billboard recently. “I tell the story that my parents had divorced in Peterborough when I was 10 and then I didn’t see my dad for a long time with my mom. I would go back and forth. And then when KISS came on August 4 of ‘79, he came back to my family and reunited with my mom and took me and my sister to the KISS concert. It’s almost hard to even talk about. But he had pictures from that day, our outing, they capture 1970s rock and roll fandom. Nobody’s ever seen these shots, pictures of KISS too, of Gene because we’re in the front row. Nobody’s ever seen these. And me, he captured my excitement, at 11.  And those are in the book. Then the pictures captured the time, like big time. It’s not like a bunch of Polaroids of little kids. It’s artistic, unbelievable photos just in and of themselves, as art, and nobody has ever seen these, nobody in the world because I couldn’t look at ‘em [laughs]. They’re too heavy. It’s too powerful.  But then there’s the task of doing a book. So I have all those archives. I went through them all and there’s just so much in this book because this is the very, very first-ever Skid Row book. I know in the future there will be more books on the band Skid Row, but when I go to Barnes & Noble, there’s zero.  There’s none. And every other band has a hundred books, Motley Crue, Cinderella, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith; every band has 10, 15 books. There’s none on Skid Row. So this is the first one, so I’m going to pack it full of as much info as I can because you only get one chance to make a first impression [laughs].”

In anticipation of 18 And Life On Skid Row, Sebastian Bach has embarked on a US Spring Tour that will incorporate an intimate acoustic set followed by a full electric live show.

"'An Evening with Sebastian Bach'. No, that doesn't mean we're going to end up in the back of a police car. It means that for selected shows on the upcoming tour, we want to do something brand-new. Let's bring the music back to its purest form. We have been touring a lot in the last few years so it's time to do something different. You're going to get two sets for the price of one. We're going to open up the show with some stripped-down tunes, re-set the stage, and then come back with the Big Guns", says Bach.

The tour wraps up in Salt Lake City on June 3rd. Tickets go on sale Friday March 4th, at 10 AM local time. VIP package upgrade will be available here.

About 18 And Life On Skid Row Bach says. "Pushing the book gives us the opportunity to really finish it properly. The publishers asked me for 30 pictures. I gave them 150. There are easy ways to do memoirs, simple ways to do biographies. What separates these books is the archival content. 18 And Life On Skid Row could also be called the Skid Row Archives. I am giving you my personal collection, photos, & documents none of you have ever seen. A lot of them. I look forward to the book release and the book tour following the book release. If I am going to go on a tour of book stores, I have to really be into the book. June 28th release date gives us an extra month to pay attention to detail. In a project of this scope there are many details."

In his memoir, Bach recounts lurid tales of excess and debauchery as he toured the world with Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Soundgarden, Pantera, Nine Inch Nails and Guns N' Roses. Filled with never before seen photos from his own personal collection, 18 And Life On Skid Rowis the story of hitting it big at a young age, and of creatively reeling from a band that broke up in its prime.

From a man who achieved his wildest dreams, only to lose his family, and then his home, this is a tale of perseverance, of wine, women and song, and of a man who has made his life on the road. 18 And Life On Skid Row is not your ordinary rock memoir, because Sebastian Bach is not your ordinary rock star.

TRIUMPH Members Reunite For RIK EMMETT

TRIUMPH Members Reunite For RIK EMMETT's New Album

According to Melodic Rock, Rik Emmett will be rejoined by his bandmates in TRIUMPH, bassist Mike Levine and drummer Gil Moore, on three songs on the vocalist/guitarist's upcoming album, to be released later in the year. The collaboration will mark the first new music from the original TRIUMPH lineup since 1987's "Surveillance" album. Also expected to appear on the disc— which will apparently be released under the name RES9, which is short for RIK EMMETT RESOLUTION 9 — are RUSH's Alex Lifeson and DREAM THEATER's James LaBrie.

Last week, TRIUMPH posted the above picture on Facebook with the message: "Mike and Gil joined Rik in the studio for his new album!"

After 20 years apart, Emmett, Levine and Moore reunited for appearances at the 2008 editions of the Sweden Rock Festival and Rocklahoma. A DVD of the historic Sweden performance was made available four years later.

Emmett has said in various interviews over the years that he would welcome the chance to play TRIUMPH songs with Moore and Levine again but that those two have been reluctant to commit. "If the carrot was big enough and golden enough, I think it would make Mike and Gil, but especially Gil, do it," Emmett told the QMI Agency four years ago.

"I do like playing with the guys. It's fun. And we go out for dinners together and we're hanging out again and laughing and joking. The reunion shows, for me, was the real lovely bit of us being back as friends again, for Mike and Gil much less so. For them, they don't need the playing of the music to return to the magic of the brotherhood thing. And, honestly, when I look back on it all now, doing the Sweden thing and the Rocklahoma thing, yes, there was the money, but I think it was pretty much Gil and Mike saying, 'You know, I think this will close the circle for Rik. This will be the thing that will make Rik feel the happiest that this has all happened, and that Rik will feel like it has been done right.' And so it got done and now there's really not anything compelling them to do it."

Part of the problem, according to Emmett, is a desire on the part of Levine and Moore, the latter in particular, to embark on a TRIUMPH tour of old with big venues, tons of lasers, lights and pyro — something that most view as unrealistic for an act that hasn't been an active touring entity for three decades.

"If the offer was there, and it was a solid thing, and it wasn’t just speculative, then it would change the temperature of the conversation," said Emmett. "But at this point, so much of it is just speculative.

"But if you ask me, in my guts, do I still think there are one or two gigs left in us, I would say yes there is probably the likelihood that something will come along, like maybe some big charity gig, that would get the guys to say, 'Okay, we'll strap it on one more time.'"

Spain’s JOTNAR Release Full Audio Teaser For Upcoming Connected/Condemned Album

Spain’s JOTNAR Release Full Audio Teaser For Upcoming Connected/Condemned Album

Spanish melodic death metallers, Jotnar, have published a teaser for their sophomore album Connected/Condemned, which will be released this fall. The 5-minute video features 20-second snippets of each of the 14 songs included in the album. The album preview can be found below.

Words from the band: "This is it guys… The time has come to show you what we’ve been doing all this time. It’s been a long time since our debut album was released, but we haven’t stopped working in this album since day one. It’s been very challenging due to the departure of our singer in the middle of the recording, having to start from scratch with new singer Mario, re-write and re-think all the songs, new arrangements, new perspective, new vibe, etc. Some of the songs were then rejected, some other new songs rose up. It hasn’t been easy, we can tell you so… But at the end, all this work and all this delay really worth it. We are more than proud to present you Connected/Condemned. We hope you all love it as much as we do!"

As on the previous album, Giant, the mixes are being done by Sacha Laskow at Perfect Fifth Studio in Canada. Mastering has been done by Jens Bogren (Arch Enemy, Soilwork, Amon Amarth, Opeth) at Fascination Street Studios in Sweden.

This will be the first album with new singer Mario Infantes, and will count on reputed international collaborations including Björn “Speed” Strid (Soilwork), Alessio NeroArgento (Disarmonia Mundi, NeroArgento), Jennie Nord (Ultimate Fate), Santi Suarez (Sphinx) and Bruno Pardini.

The cover art was created by British artist Russ Mills.

CENTINEX Offer Advanced Stream Of Upcoming Doomsday Rituals Album

Swedish old-school death metallers Centinex will release their new album, Doomsday Rituals, on July 8th via Agonia Records. An advanced album stream can be found below.

Centinex originated in 1990 as a riff-oriented part of the classic Swedish death metal movement and disbanded in 2005 after releasing eighth full-length albums. In 2014 they surprisingly resurfaced with a refreshed line-up of Martin Schulman (Demonical) on bass, Sverker Widgren (Demonical, Diabolical) on guitars, Alexander Högbom (October Tide, Spasmodic) on vocals and Kennet Englund (Interment, Centinex 1999-2003) on drums. Year 2014 also saw the release of their come-back record, Redeeming Filth.

The band doesn’t want the fans to be kept waiting another near-decade for a new album. Titled Doomsday Rituals, the record is a natural follow-up to Redeeming Filth.

Martin Schulman (bass) commented: "Heavy riffing, deep brutal vocals, everything from slow via mid-tempo to faster stuff, a perfect mix of the early 90's Florida and Stockholm sound.”

Doomsday Rituals was recorded at Wing Studios with Sverker Widgren (Centinex, Demonical, Diabolical) behind the knobs. The cover artwork was made by Bahrull Marta of Abomination Imagery.

KAMELOT - Stage-Filmed Footage From São Paulo Show Posted

Kamelot ohave posted stage-filmed footage from their July 2nd show in São Paulo, Brazil performing "The Great Pandemonium". Check it out below.

German metal label Noise Records has been relaunched by BMG, reports Billboard.com.

Founded by Karl-Ulrich Walterbach in 1983, the label was an important supporter of European heavy rock acts throughout the '80s and '90s, helping to popularize the thrash, speed and power metal subgenres. Key acts among its roster included Grave Digger, Hellhammer (who became Celtic Frost), Kreator, Running Wild, Gamma Ray, Kamelot, Tankard and Helloween, whose second and third albums Keeper Of The Seven Keys: Part 1 and Part II achieved worldwide success in the late '80s.

The new Kamelot compilation Where I Reign: Very Best Of The Noise Years has been released and is now available via Amazon Germany and iTunes.

The track list is as follows:

CD 1

"Eternity"
"Black Tower"
"Call Of The Sea"
"The Gleeman"
"Ascension"
"Heaven"
"Rise Again"
"Creation"
"Milllennium"
"Expedition"
"Where I Reign"
"Rhydin"

CD 2

"The Fourth Legacy"
"Desert Reign"
"Nights of Arabia"
"Until Kingdom Come"
"We Three Kings"
"We Are Not Seperate"
"Wings of Despair"
"The Spell"
"Karma"
"Center of the Universe"
"The Edge of Paradise"
"Descent of the Archangel"
"III Ways to Epica"

Kamelot recently released a music video for the track “My Therapy”, taken from their latest masterpiece Haven (2015, Napalm Records/Universal/ADA/Warner). The “My Therapy” video serves to put a spotlight on social anxiety that effects up to 20% of adults worldwide.

Kamelot vocalist Tommy Karevik states: "The original idea of the song was based on experiments done years ago on children where they would be clinically taken care of, but never held, loved or nurtured. The outcome was disastrous and proves that in this sometimes complicated world spinning faster and faster, the very foundation of our health and well being really rests upon something very simple and uncomplicated... The human touch...."

Haven sees Kamelot striving for new heights with their epic and highly emotional trademark sound: As if this album was meant to be a soundtrack for an unforgettable and monumental silver screen experience, it boasts dark melancholy, aggressive metal and soul-soothing melodies.

Kamelot is:

Thomas Youngblood - guitars
Tommy Karevik - vocals
Casey Grillo - drums
Oliver Palotai - keyboards
Sean Tibbetts - bass
