Italy's Despite Exile have revealed the brand new video for the brutal deathcore anthem “Act IV: Herald Of Blindness” off the band's forthcoming new EP Disperse - out digitally November 27th via Lifeforce Records.

 

Coming out of Udine, Italy, Despite Exile is bringing some really heavy stuff on the table. This project started in 2010 from the ashes of the metalcore outfit Farseer Scream. Legendary German rockers, Scorpions, are streaming audio samples of the live bonus tracks included on the 50th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of their Love At First Sting album. Listen below:

Scorpions have achieved a new landmark in chart success, with RadioAndMusicBiz.com reporting that six of their albums are placing on the German charts, simultaneously. The albums, launched by BMG, are deluxe reissues, originally produced by Dieter Dierks, and have been released as part of the band’s massive 50th anniversary celebrations.

Scorpions’ new feat makes them the fifth music act to have six or more albums place on the German charts at the same time. The albums include Blackout’(1982) which entered the chart at #43; Love At First Sting (1984) at #46; World Wide Live (1985) at #52; Lovedrive (1979) at #59; Tokyo Tapes (1978) at #70; and Scorpions Deluxe Vinyl Box Set at #97.

In addition to unheard studio tracks and live recordings, the CD releases are equipped with extended booklets featuring rare photos and, single covers, backstage passes and additional liner notes by Edgar Klüsener, a former editor-in-chief of Metal Hammer who has followed the band‘s career closely over several decades. The new fully authorized Scorpions documentary, Forever And A Day, is wrapping up its theatrical run and will come to DVD, Blu-ray, and digital platforms on November 27th (in German with English subtitles). The movie takes a look at the German hard-rock legends' long career, while focusing on the band's Final Sting trek, which initially was intended to be a farewell tour.

As the film shows, during the 2011-2012 tour, the band members were so energized by the response from fans that they decided to scrap their retirement plans. Founding Scorpions guitarist Rudolf Schenker says that if you watch Forever And A Day, you can see the veteran rockers come to the realization that they weren't ready to call it quits.

Schenker explains, "Seeing all these old fans, the new fans coming, everything was sold out, and getting told by the fans what the music means for them, then we more and more”, understood that the time wasn't right for the band to retire.

Among the interesting career highlights covered in the movie is the Scorpions' historic 1991 visit to the Kremlin in Moscow to meet Mikhail Gorbachev. The band presented the then-Soviet president with a gold record for its hit ballad "Wind Of Change”, which celebrated the end of the Cold War.

Describing "Wind Of Change" as "the soundtrack of the most peaceful revolution on Earth," Schenker says The Scorpions' visit with Gorbachev was "something very special" since they were the first, and possibly the only, Western band ever invited to the Kremlin. He adds that The Scorpions are still friendly with Gorbachev, who makes an appearance in Forever And A Day commenting about the group and the impact of "Wind Of Change”.

The Scorpions recently wrapped up the 2015 US leg of its 50th anniversary tour, which also is in support of their latest studio album, Return To Forever. With regard to the band's future, longtime Scorpions guitarist Matthias Jabs says, "It doesn't look like the end is near. You know, we keep ourselves open now. We tried the farewell tour, and we [called] it afterwards the 'went well' tour."

The Scorpions will finish the year with a series of European dates in November and December, with more to come in February and March of 2016, including a run of shows in their homeland. Swedish melodic metal band Eternal (Of Sweden) is back in business with their new thundering album Heaven's Gate. Three years after their debut Chapter 1 (2012), the tracks on the new album will take you on a journey through the best of the best in today's metal. The band is streaming the first single from the album with the video "Ruins" below.

Northern Irish death metallers Rex Shachath has released their latest offering, Revocation Of The Blood Elect EP, via French label Great Dane Records and the EP is streaming in full via the Bandcamp player below:

Revocation Of The Blood Elect EP might not be what people are expecting if they're familiar with the band's debut offering Sepulchral Torment. Since that release the band have had time to coalesce and where Sepulchral Torment had more of an 'old school' sound, Revocation Of The Blood Elect is an entirely new animal. Tackling social issues such as the state of modern society and man's exorbitant desire for wealth at the expense of our natural world, the band have harnessed a sound more befitting to such issues on their forthcoming record. Old school ideals kneaded with modern death metal notions on a much more up to date and punchier production is what we have here. Revocation Of The Blood Elect carries a sound as big if not bigger than its message.

Vocalist Dave Connolly comments of the track, “This song sees those in positions of power overthrown and put to the sword by man who has endured the oppression of those who would see humanity and the natural world struggle beneath them while they profit from the destruction of man and the earth.”

San Antonio death metal deviants, Abhorrent, have untetherd their debut full-length via Willowtip Records. Ever-evolving Toronto prog/metal band Intervals have premiered a second song, “Fable”, from the forthcoming album, The Shape Of Colour, which is set for worldwide release on December 4th. The track is streaming below.

With composer and guitarist Aaron Marshall at the helm, the new all-instrumental album features bassist Cameron McLellan (Protest The Hero), drummer Travis Orbin and several guest appearances, including by Leland Whitty (BadBadNotGood) on “Fable”.

Marshall explains: "“Fable” is one of those tunes that sort of writes itself. As I began to work on this piece, I noticed a constant allusion to some vibes and melodies that feel sort of "nostalgic" for me, in a way. The song is also a perpetual exploration and juxtaposition of two varying time feels which sort of creates a journey therein. When the bridge began to shape up, I knew I wanted to feature another instrument that could explore this vibe along side my guitar and I've been looking for an opportunity to feature the saxophone for some time. As a fan, first and foremost, I reached out to Leland (badbadnotgood) and asked if he would be into contributing to this piece for me. I think he served the tune perfectly and said exactly what needed to be said at the moment in the piece."

Pride & Joy Music has announced the signing of the Vivaldi Metal Project.

The Vivaldi Metal Project is an all-star metal project conceived and created by keyboardist, arranger, composer and producer maestro Mistheria (Bruce Dickinson, Rob Rock, Roy Z, etc.) together with bassist, composer and co-producer Alberto Rigoni.

The aim of the project is to arrange and perform a metal version of Antonio Vivaldi's legendary Baroque masterwork The Four Seasons

The duo already has started to work on this project in late 2013 together with a staff of  arrangers (D. Docker main lyricist as well, F. Dall'O', F. Caruso, F. Lui, Gabriels, K. Kumagai, M. Mierzejewski, N. Waldo, P. Penksa, T. Varnagiris, Y. Androulakakis, Z. Koev) and since then gathered more than 70 musicians from over the world plus the ''Sinfonietta Consonus Orchestra'' and the ''Academic Choir Manolov' to take part in this mammoth project.

The recordings will soon be completed and the release is planned for late May 2016. More news on this will follow.

DISTURBED has tapped directors Culley Bunker and Craig Bernard to helm the band's new music video for the song "The Light". The clip, which can be seen below, was produced by Evan Urman and executive-produced by Jason Valen.

"The Light" is taken from DISTURBED's first new album since 2011, "Immortalized", which was released on August 21.

In a recent interview with Loudwire, DISTURBED singer David Draiman stated about "The Light": "Go figure. DISTURBED songs with an air of positivity. Who would have ever thought?"

He continued: "You know, the only way that you get to appreciate the darkness is by contrasting it with light. I think that people have utilized our music in particular to get them through the difficult periods in their lives, to triumph against adversity, to overcome obstacles. And it's been my experience, with people in my life, or friends that I have or have had, that sometimes those periods in our lives that are dark ones can be so daunting and you let them overwhelm you to the extent that you succumb to hopelessness and you succumb to stagnation. And the truth be told, everything is a pathway. Sometimes you have to go through dark periods in your life in order to find the answer that you need, in order to become stronger, in order to see the light, per se. And it's just putting things in that perspective."

Draiman added: "That song was actually the very first song that was both written and recorded for this entire session. Because it is as different as it is, that was one of the first ones that I was, like, 'Hmmm, I'm not so sure. I mean, I recognize that it's a big hook, but stylistically, how do I… Can I come to terms with this?' And that was another one of the reasons that made me wanna go out to Chicago to get in front of the [other] guys [in DISTURBED] and throw some of these ideas at them in person, some of the things to help reassure me."

DISTURBED landed its fifth No. 1 album on The Billboard 200 chart with "Immortalized".

The new disc opened with 98,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending August 27, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 93,000 were pure album sales.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

DISTURBED is only the third group to score five consecutive No. 1-debuting studio albums. They join METALLICA (five No. 1-debuting studio sets between 1991-2008) and DAVE MATTHEWS BAND (six; 1998-2012).

"Immortalized" is DISTURBED's first studio set since 2010's "Asylum", which opened atop The Billboard 200 with 179,000 copies sold in its first week, according to Nielsen Music. The act previously led the list with "Indestructible" (released in 2008), "Ten Thousand Fists" (2005) and "Believe" (2002).

The only DISTURBED album to miss the top position was the band's debut, "The Sickness", which peaked at No. 29 in 2000.

British gothic metal pioneers PARADISE LOST will round off a highly successful year with another very special release that will excite the band's global fanbase. LED ZEPPELIN legend Jimmy Page joined an all-star lineup of musicians — including members of ALICE IN CHAINS, SOUNDGARDEN, CHEAP TRICK and GUNS N' ROSES — at last night's (Thursday, November 19) benefit show at Seattle's Experience Music Project Museum to perform the ZEPPELIN classic "Rock And Roll". According to RollingStone.com, the vocals were handled by Paul Rodgers (Page's old bandmate in THE FIRM), ALICE IN CHAINS singer William DuVall and John Hogg, with additional guitar power provided by SOUNDGARDEN's Kim Thayil and CHEAP TRICK's Rick Nielsen, among others. The house band featured a rhythm section made up of former GUNS N' ROSES bassist Duff McKagan and ex–SCREAMING TREES drummer Barrett Martin.

Page picked up the EMP Founders Award at the ceremony, which featured performances of other ZEPPELIN classics "Immigrant Song", "Communication Breakdown" and "Dazed And Confused".

Page said last year that he wanted to hit the road, but told England's The Week that he's still hadn't secured the band to take on tour. "I know people want to hear me play," he said. "I want to hear me play, too… I'm really starting to get myself enthused and limbered up for putting something together… That for me is exactly how things should be. I want to surprise people. I'll play everything, and some new music I've got. Next year is the time when I should be seen to be playing live."

The official lyric video for "Take Me Home For Christmas", an original Christmas song from DELTA DEEP, the "extreme blues project" featuring DEF LEPPARD guitarist and MANRAZE frontman Phil Collen and singer Debbi Blackwell-Cook, can be seen below. The track will be released on November 27 and is available for pre-order now at iTunes.

"DELTA DEEP has this great Christmas song reminiscent of the 1940s jazz era," Collen tells Ultimate Classic Rock. "We didn't plan it that way, but that's just how the song came out. We love it because it's not like your traditional Christmas song. It's a track that can literally be played year round simply because it's mellow and full of that smoky blues sound that's a part of all of us."

He continues: "I've never really been an advocate of Christmas songs due to the over-commercialized, seasonal onslaught that happens each year. However, with this tune, we managed to evoke not only feelings of cheerful warmth and visions of cozy fireplaces. We loved creating something reminiscent of a 1940s bluesy jazz style, easily to be enjoyed no matter what the season. I even used my 1954 Gibson ES-175 for that very classic sound."

DELTA DEEP's self-titled debut album, a mix of original and hand-picked cover tracks, was released on June 23 on Mailboat Records and also features special guest appearances by DEF LEPPARD vocalist Joe Elliott, WHITESNAKE's David Coverdale, SEX PISTOLS/MANRAZE drummer Paul Cook, and GIRL/MANRAZE bassist Simon Laffy.

Collen initially started DELTA DEEP in 2012 after jamming over the course of a year with friend and relative Debbi Blackwell-Cook. What started as a casual pairing singing Motown and classic blues staples quickly became a quartet who share a love for soul, funk and the blues when they added STP's DeLeo and drummer Forrest Robinson.

ARCH ENEMY's latest album, "War Eternal", sold around 8,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 44. The CD was released on June 10, 2014 in North America via Century Media Records. The cover artwork was created by Costin Chioreanu.

ARCH ENEMY in November 2014 parted ways with guitarist Nick Cordle and replaced him with former NEVERMORE axeman Jeff Loomis. Loomis made his live debut with ARCH ENEMY on the band's fall 2014 European tour.

The tour edition of "War Eternal" contains "Stolen Life (2015 Version)", featuring additional leads by Loomis as a bonus track as well as a DVD including an intense live set filmed in Korea plus all official videos.

ARCH ENEMY guitarist Michael Amott recently told the "Do You Know Jack?" radio show about the band's plans to write and record the follow-up to "War Eternal": "I think we're probably gonna write and record something next year, so it'll probably be 2017 when we put out a new record, realistically. We're a very fortunate band. We have a worldwide fanbase where we can go out and tour for two years, pretty much, all around the world successfully when we put out a new album. So it's a big job. It takes us a while to get around the world and play to everybody that wants to see us. So it takes time between albums."

According to the Orlando Sentinel, a Florida police officer was fired for joining the death metal band VITAL REMAINS on stage last week and singing the song "Let The Killing Begin" in full uniform.

Andrew Ricks was on duty on November 13 when he appeared at the West End Trading Co. in Sanford, Florida and was videotaped throwing a "devil's horns" hand gesture and apparently motioning to the audience to start a mosh pit before singing (see video below).

Police Chief Cecil B. Smith, who relieved Ricks of his duties Wednesday morning, said in a statement: "An incident of this nature erodes the thin fibers of trust which already exist between the community and the police and it will not tolerated within the Sanford Police Department."

He continued: "It is important that the agency must maintain and improve upon the trust built within the community. Based on the information received, it is imperative that we have no misinterpretations of the immediate actions taken by the police department in situations of this nature and that we will continue to provide professional service to all citizens of Sanford."

"Let The Killing Begin" was reportedly written about the crucifixion of Christ and is the opening track on VITAL REMAINS' 2003 album "Dechristianize". The LP was the band's first to feature DEICIDE vocalist Glen Benton, and is generally considered to be VITAL REMAINS' breakthrough album.

Ricks worked for Apopka Police Department for six months before resigning in 2009 and getting hired by the Sanford Police Department in January 2010.

Back in 2012, the Sanford Police Department's handling of the much-publicized Trayvon Martin case showed a series of missteps and was criticized by Martin's family as bungling and biased, according to The New York Times.

MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine says that he is "not in a hurry to sell" his estate in Fallbrook, California, despite recently putting it on the market for $5.375 million.

Mustaine and his family moved to Nashville in October 2014 after living in Fallbrook for a couple of years.

Speaking to MetalIreland.com, Mustaine stated about his California house: "Property like that, it's hidden, it's a bit off the beaten path, and we're not in a hurry to sell it. We want the right buyer too. We're obviously still quite attached to it. When we got it, it was abandoned, so we've completely restored it from the ground up. I mean, it has a vineyard on it, and that alone is worth the price of admission… It has a sort of 'Lord Of The Rings'… well actually no, more like 'The Hobbit' feel to it, with the thatched roof and everything."

On the topic of his move to Nashville, Mustaine said: "I've lived there four times before, because we did records there. So I've lived there for several months at a time… I want [my daughter] Electra to pursue her [country music] dreams. I can do my job anywhere, really… It's good for me, because my daughter is happy, and I think, if you love your children, you'll always want to protect and provide for them. And, like I said, I can pretty much do my job anywhere."

According to the Los Angeles Times, Mustaine's 9.5-acre country English-style home in the northern San Diego community was built in 1990 and includes vineyards, pastureland and a pond.

The 5,345 square feet of living space includes a paneled media room/den, a bar, an office, a gym, five bedrooms, five full bathrooms and two powder rooms. There is also a state-of-the-art sound and recording studio, a control room, a reception room and a producer’s boarding room.

According to Trulia.com, the home was last sold in December 2012 for $995,000 — less than 20% of the current asking price.

AC/DC was inducted into The Age Music Victoria Awards 10th Anniversary Hall Of Fame Friday night (November 20) at the Palais Theatre in St. Kilda, Victoria, Australia.

Unlike the annual The Age Music Victoria Awards (formerly The Age EG Awards), the selection of the The Age Music Victoria Awards 10th Anniversary Hall Of Fame inductees was made by a voting panel including former inductees, musicians and music professionals, all of whom had their work cut out for them in selecting just ten inductees from Victoria’s long and illustrious musical heritage. Eligibility required inductees to have been Victorian residents when they made a significant contribution to Victoria culture.

According to The Sydney Morning Herald, David Albert, the head of Albert Music and nephew of its founder Ted Albert, who supported AC/DC from the band's earliest days, attended Friday night's ceremony and celebration concert,

In a statement, AC/DC guitarist Angus Young said it was "an absolute honor" to be recognized in the 10th year of the Hall Of Fame. "Victoria has a special place in our hearts, especially the early years of the band," he said. "Thank you for the induction into The Age Music Victoria Hall Of Fame."

Music Victoria chief executive Patrick Donovan, who presented Albert with AC/DC's award, said the band became "a sensation on Ripponlea-based Countdown as soon as the show exploded colorfully onto national TV" and soon launched themselves on the world.

"Two of the world's best axemen, Angus on lead and Malcolm on rhythm, forging some of the biggest, baddest riffs we'll ever know," Donovan said. "They moved to Melbourne, sharing a rental house in Landsdowne Road, St. Kilda where they jammed and practiced, played blues records and wrote songs through the day and night. The Age and Music Victoria welcome you to our Hall Of Fame."

According to The Pulse Of Radio, FOO FIGHTERS have released a brief studio clip of a new song from the band's upcoming EP, which will feature five new tracks recorded recently in Austin, Texas. A Reddit page dedicated to the band also hinted that the title of the EP may be "2nd Century A.D." The EP will be released through independent record stores on Record Store Day Black Friday (November 27).

The FOO FIGHTERS posted a countdown clock on its site earlier this month counting down to midnight on November 22, along with a series of cryptic photos, some of which were apparently taken at the Hotel St. Cecilia in Austin, Texas.

According to reports, Dave Grohl told the audience during the band's set at the Austin City Limits festival in October, "You know what I did last night... We recorded five fucking new songs in your beautiful city."

Grohl has long acknowledged Austin as one of his favorite places, and the city was featured in the first season of the FOOS' HBO series "Sonic Highways".

An unofficial track list for the EP includes the song titles "Iron Rooster", "Neverending Sigh", "Saint Cecilia", "Savior Breath" and "Sean".

The tour bus carrying Los Angeles metalcore band THE GHOST INSIDE was involved in a fatal crash with an 18-wheeler semi truck on Thursday (November 19).

Two people were killed in the collision: the driver of the 18-wheeler and the driver of the bus.

This accident occurred around 9:16 a.m. local time on Hwy 180 in Texas about 24 miles east of El Paso.

According to KFOX, THE GHOST INSIDE drummer Andrew Tkaczyk, guitarist Zach Johnson and singer Jonathan Vigil received serious injuries and were transported to University Medical Center via helicopter. They are said to be in critical condition. THE GHOST INSIDE bassist Jim Riley and touring guitarist Chris Davis are said to have suffered serious injuries and they are said to be in stable condition.

Andrew Tkaczyk's brother Nick Tkaczyk posted the following message to his Facebook page: "For those not in the know, my brother Andrew was airlifted to the hospital this morning after his bus was involved in an accident. He is alive, however he has suffered head trauma, as well as broken bones in his lower extremities, and a shoulder injury. He is currently in ICU and may require surgery. Please give us all your prayers, thoughts, whatever it is that you do, as we need it."

THE GHOST INSIDE issued a statement following the incident Thursday: "Thanks to everyone who reached out with concern today. THE GHOST INSIDE was involved in a serious bus accident outside El Paso, TX this morning. All 5 band members + all members of the crew are alive and currently being treated for their injuries. Please keep them in your thoughts as well as their bus driver and those in the other vehicle who did not make it. Unfortunately, all U.S. shows on the Locals Only Tour are cancelled. Refunds available at point of purchase. We will update you more when we can."

A GoFundMe fundraising campaign for the bus driver was set up following the accident.

Nick Beggs had this to say: "The record has a number of moods. But overall, it's a rather disgruntled rant at the dystopia we've created for ourselves and our children. The song "Swimming Horses" is a warning about the passing of time and the rising of tides. "Feed The Troll" is a dedication to all those who have too much time on their hands. The person who has helped me realize this record is Roger King. We worked together for quite a few years in the Steve Hackett band and when I approached him last year about producing, I was honoured and surprised when he agreed. His strengths are my weaknesses and I believe we complement each other rather well. But the public will have the final word on that.

“After working extensively with the Steven Wilson band, I invited Marco Minnemann to play drums for me. Although I have a couple of other guest drummers like Nick D'Virgilio and Gary O'Toole, Marco is playing on the majority of tracks. He also added his genius with some sound modelling and guitar. Sonically, you can expect an album that tips its hat in the direction of alternative rock and pop, due for release in early 2016."

Nick has most recently been involved with Steven Wilson's solo band, both in the studio and on tour, whilst also playing live with legendary guitarist Steve Hackett as part of his Genesis Revisited run of shows. In recent years he has contributed to projects such as Lifesigns, Fish On Friday & Lonely Robot, as well as playing live with Rick Wakeman.

Oakland, CA quartet Lycus returns with Chasms, an intensely powerful and emotive masterpiece of funereal doom metal that marks the band's first full-length recording since 2013's Tempest and their first venture with new allies Relapse Records. Chasms is due out on January 15th, and promises to be the new year's heaviest offering. Pre-orders are available now for both physical and digital versions.

Now streaming is the first track off Chasms, a lumbering, menacing dirge entitled "Solar Chamber”. As Lycus drummer Trevor DeSchryver commented, “Serving as one of the more sonically diverse songs on the album, 'Solar Chamber' was inspired by the unavoidable horrors of this world revealed by the sun. It is based on the notion that one may find serenity and solace in the darkness of night, as opposed to the crippling fear and anxiety brought on by the oppressive light of day."

Originally formed in the fall of 2008, Lycus began as one of the very few doom metal bands in the Sacramento area. After relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area, founding members Trevor DeSchryver and Jackson Heath reformed the band and recorded Demo MMXI at Earhammer Studios in Oakland, CA. Demo MMXI was released on cassette by Graceless Recordings, then on vinyl through The Flenser in January 2012.

More recently, Lycus experienced tremendous growth and recognition that belie the band’s youth and early obscurity. The band issued their debut full-­length, Tempest, in July 2013 (20 Buck Spin) to extensive critical acclaim. The reception was enough to catch the attention of Relapse Records, who signed the Oakland undertakers in January 2015.

Recorded at Atomic Garden Studios with producer Jack Shirley and featuring art from celebrated Italian mastermind Paolo Girardi (Inquistion, Bell Witch), Chasms is four immense tracks of deep, unbridled gloom for acolytes of Mournful Congregation, Inter Arma, Evoken, and YOB. Complete with massive clean / bellowing vocal arrangements, atmospheric cello accompaniments, and enormous compositions, LYCUS have created another mournfully expressive work of timeless doom.

Prosthetic Records has signed Minneapolis based tech-death metallers, Reaping Asmodeia. Formed in 2013 by former members of With Dead Hands Rising, Reaping Asmodeia self-released their debut album, Poison Of The Earth, a year later. The album was mixed and mastered by Zack Ohren (All Shall Perish, Suffocation) and received high press in the death metal community.

The band spent most of that year touring in support of the album, playing shows all across America with the likes of Abiotic, Beyond Creation, Boris The Blade and many more. They also appeared at the Texas independence Fest, Orange County Death Fest and Austin’s Hoodang Festival. Their intense live show and unrelenting work ethic, made them the go-to regional metal band in the Minneapolis area, having been chosen to support artists like Veil Of Maya, The Faceless, The Contortionist as well as last year’s Summer Slaughter.

With the signing to Prosthetic and a new album planned for summer 2016, expect Reaping Asmodeia’s reach to expand worldwide.

Dream Theater keyboardist Jordan Rudess has released a new solo album entitled The Unforgotten Path. He has posted the following overview of the record:

"The Unforgotten Path is a collection of melodies that have inspired my musical life. Beginning when I was in elementary school, I began to improvise piano arrangements from basic lead sheets. My mother started bringing home every style of sheet music: songs from film, musical theater and rock. I remember playing those songs in my parents' living room while taking a break from practicing my Juilliard classical repertoire. The selections on this album are all songs that allow me to sit at the piano and transcend normal, daily life and enter into my favorite musical headspace. I've been playing some of these melodies for decades and recording an album like this has been on my To Do list for awhile. I recorded this all on my 9 foot Steinway D in the comfort of my home studio during August, 2015. Thank you for listening and I will see all of you… On The Road"

He did an outstanding job again, it‘s sounding even more exciting, fatter, bigger and straight to the point. We‘re very satisfied and more than a little proud.

The album will be released on February 26th, 2016, and here‘s the cover...partly. Because a production like this costs money, our Crowdfunding campaign is still underway and has almost reached its goal. If it gets to 100%, we will release the full cover artwork earlier. And who knows: If things go really well, maybe some music might slip out. Deal?

The New Black entered the studio freshly energized from a stint on the road with Zakk Wylde‘s Black Label Society where they premiered new tracks "Send In The Clowns" and the title track "Godzilla With A Grin".
