Written when the band was together during their residency in Las Vegas last February, "Sex" is the first studio track from the CRÜE since their June 2008 release of "Saints Of Los Angeles". The song was recorded at MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's studio called The Atrium in Calabasas, California.

Speaking to VH1 Radio Network's Dave Basner in March, MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist and main songwriter Nikki Sixx stated about the band's new track, "It sounds very much like it's off of the first record [1981's 'Too Fast For Love']. And that was definitely on purpose. I've been writing very simple riffs for the last year and focusing on how these riffs would work for Vince [Neil, vocals], basically, and took it in the studio with Tommy and Mick [Mars, guitar] and the thing just came alive."

In an interview with AOL's Noisecreep, Tommy stated about "Sex", "I think Nikki is partially right. It's got a retro CRÜE kind of vibe to it — a simplistic riff. But I also think the song has a modern sound to it. There's some cool analog synths in it and a beat that is really funky and modern. So I guess you can say that it has a retro yet modern sound."

He added, "Overall, I think that 'Sex' sounds like 2012 and that makes me really happy. It turned out killer! Not that I'm not into some retro-sounding stuff, but it is 2012 kids — let's keep it moving. At the end of the day, it's a great summertime song that's going to have everybody screaming along to it on this upcoming tour."

THE CONTORTIONIST broke onto the scene a few years ago and has quickly earned the title as one of the most musically inclined bands in the progressive metal genre.

In their brief but accomplished career, the band has supported a wide variety of acts, including PERIPHERY, ALL SHALL PERISH, THE ACACIA STRAIN as well as headlining the inaugural edition of the Summer Slaughter Survivors Tour in 2011. The band is currently finishing up tour dates in Canada and will continue to stay on the road throughout the rest of the year.

THE CONTORTIONIST is: Robby Baca (guitar), Jonathan Carpenter (vocals, keyboards), Joey Baca (percussion), Cameron Maynard (guitar), Christopher Tilley (bass).

A one-and-a-half-minute trailer for "diin", the forthcoming album from the Bergen, Norway-based post-metal crew KRAKOW, can be seen below. The follow-up to 2009s' "Monolith" is due in September via Dark Essence Records.

The cover art for "diin" was designed by one of America's foremost tattoo artist Thomas Hooper. Brooklyn-based Hooper, who, as well as being a tattooist is also well known for his paintings and designs, has previously worked with bands such as DOOMRIDERS, TOMB, SCOTT KELLY and OLD MAN GLOOM. According to KRAKOW guitarist and vocalist René Misje, the chance to work with Hooper is something the band relishes. "We are proud to have had such a talented and renowned artist to create the artwork for our new album," he said. "We are big admirers of his work and we were honoured when he agreed to work with us. We are eternally grateful and can only hope that our music does justice to his art."

Formed in 2005 by Frode Kilvik (bass, vocals), Kjartan Grønhaug (guitar) and René Misje (guitar, vocals), the band recently added KAMPFAR and MONDVOLLAND drummer Ask Ty Arctander to their lineup. With a sound that ranges from dark, evocative and mesmerizing to fast, aggressive and heavy, KRAKOW is a band that is not easily categorised, fitting as it does equally well within the post-rock, metal and stoner rock genres.

Paige Montgomery from Alternative Revolt Magazine and the Denver Post Reverb conducted an interview with KILLSWITCH ENGAGE frontman Jesse Leach for idobi radio at the first stop of the Trespass America tour in Broomfield, Colorado. Leach discussed returning to KILLSWITCH ENGAGE, preparing for tour, and he revealed what the band has in store for their next studio release.

On how it feels to be back in KILLSWITCH ENGAGE:

Jesse: "It feels great, man. Surprisngly, [it was] a natural transition. I think the one thing for me was just learning [former KILLSWITCH ENGAGE singer] Howard's [Jones] material, learning how I was gonna, like, live in the songs and make them my own, and once that happened, it feels natural. It almost feels, in a way, that I hadn't left, but it is ten years later and we're all much different people, so it just feels a lot better than it did back then."

On the progress of the songwriting and recording sessions for KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's new album:

Jesse: "We've got two songs completed for our new record and another 12-13 to go that I'm gonna finish up in the fall. . . Thankfully, [they didn't have any vocals done with Howard] — it was just music; it had no lyrics, no vocals — Howard hadn't attempted to do anything, so it was a nice, clean slate. [The stuff sounds] fresh, fast, heavy… I couldn't be more stoked to sing on the record. As a matter of fact, once I signed up to do the audition for those guys, they took me back to Adam's [Dutkiewicz, guitar] house and we listened to the record and that totally sold me. When I heard the record, I was like, 'I've gotta sing on this.'"

Multinational melodic metallers EDEN'S CURSE have inked a worldwide deal with AFM Records.

The group, which is currently nearing the final stages of the writing phase for its as-yet-untitled fourth album — the first to feature new vocalist Marco Sandron (PATHOSRAY, FAIRYLAND) at the microphone — couldn't hide its delight. "Signing a new deal with AFM was one of the easiest decisions we have made as band," quipped bassist Paul Logue. "AFM have been our long term partners since 2007 and have always done a great job for us. We recently sat down together and discussed our future plans and where we saw the band headed and they made it known that they are firmly behind us."

He added, "Consolidating everything under one roof, as opposed to having several separate deals, made great business sense to us and our management," Logue said. "I'm sure it means less paperwork for all involved! We will, however, still be working with our long-term Japanese partners, Spiritual Beast. Why fix what ain't broke?"

Regarding the progress of the songwriting sessions for the next album, Logue said, "It's going! We are really into the home straight of the writing phase now. We are taking our time to make sure we have the song ideas that does the EDEN'S CURSE name proud and exactly what our fan base would expect from us. We are very excited by the new tunes."

Timo Hoffmann of AFM Records stated: "Working with EDEN'S CURSE always was a delight. These guys are really dedicated to what they do and their ambitions, positive attitude and high standards always result in great quality. Since signing with us in 2007, the band has released three fantastic albums. No signs of slowing down — in fact, it's quite the contrary. But also beside the creative part, we found reliable partners in EDEN'S CURSE. That's why we are very happy that the previous deal with the band (which was for the European territory only) now has become enhanced to a worldwide deal. We are looking forward to a great fourth album next year, and many more to come hopefully…"

EDEN'S CURSE's new album is tentatively scheduled for release in the spring of 2013.

Pioneering keyboardist Jon Lord – who helped Deep Purple write some of their most seminal material – has sadly passed away at the age of 71.

“It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Jon Lord, who suffered a fatal pulmonary embolism today, Monday 16th July at the London Clinic, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer,” reads a statement from his publicist. “Jon was surrounded by his loving family.”

Jon helped pen some of Deep Purple’s most famous songs and worked with a number of high profile rock ‘n’ roll bands throughout his career, including legendary rockers Whitesnake.

Tommy Streat, the organizer of the vigil which was held on July 8 on Brown's Island in Richmond, Virginia in support of LAMB OF GOD singer Randy Blythe, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that he is planning another vigil for Sunday, July 22 from 1 to 3 p.m., in front of the U.S. Supreme Court.

Blythe was arrested in the Czech Republic on June 27 and is facing manslaughter charges in connection with a 2010 Prague concert at which he allegedly shoved a local fan off the stage. The man, who is said to have stormed the stage three times during the show, reportedly suffered a brain hemorrhage that resulted in his death nearly a month later.

Blythe's next Czech court appearance is scheduled for Thursday, July 19.

"Hopefully, we'll be welcoming him home" after the court appearance, said Streat. "But if not, we'll be sending the message that will support him."

Randy has been charged with causing "bodily harm of the fourth degree, resulting in the death of a fan" and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Blythe, who has already posted bail of 4 millionCzech Koruna (approximately $200,000), will have been imprisoned for three weeks by the time he gets his next day in court.

This week's hearing will reportedly involve a panel of judges that meet to review the prosecutors bail challenge; they can approve the bail or annul the bail.

Streat told the Richmond Times-Dispatch that he's been amazed by the support from fans so far but hoped that some of the more vocal fans would remember to better consider their comments.

"A lot of the Czech news sources are starting to pick up on that stuff, and it's getting nasty," he said. "There's no reason to bash another country. They have a different legal system from ours, but we have to respect that."

Jonathan Crane, a reporter for the Prague Post, an English-language newspaper in Prague, told the Richmond Times-Dispatch in an e-mail, "Blythe has not been denied bail, but rather, the bail has been challenged by the state prosecutor. I know this seems strange — in most other countries, you post bail and then you're released. Bail in the Czech Republic is subject to appeal, which is what happened here."

A LAMB OF GOD fan from Brandenburg, Kentucky created a petition in an online forum on the White House web site to ease the process of petitioning the government to help Blythe. As of this morning, more than 15,000 people had signed the petition. (A petition needs 25,000 signatures in 30 days to get attention.)

"In just eight days open to the public, we have gotten … 10,000 signatures," creator Espedito C. "Tito" Fink told the Richmond Times-Dispatch in an email Thursday. "This has been a group effort of everyone in the Facebook group that I created. Without them, I don't think this would have gotten off the ground.

"I'm hoping this will bring enough awareness so the federal government will do any and everything within its power to diplomatically bring Randy home while remaining on good terms with the Czech Republic."

SIX FEET UNDER in May announced the addition of Swedish rhythm guitarist Ola Englund (FEARED, SCARPOINT) to their legendary ranks. Englund, who made his first official appearance with the band on the "18 Nights Of Blood Tour" last month, takes the place of Rob Arnold (CHIMAIRA).

SIX FEET UNDER's new album, "Undead", was released on May 22 through Metal Blade Records. The 12-track CD was produced by Mark Lewis (DEICIDE, DEVILDRIVER) and mixed by Jason Suecof (WHITECHAPEL, JOB FOR A COWBOY), at AudioHammer Studios in Sanford, Florida.

SIX FEET UNDER's European tour will kick off on August 11 in Jaromer, Czech Republic and will conclude on August 18 in Hamburg, Germany. Support on the trek will come from DEW-SCENTED.

SIX FEET UNDER recently parted ways with bassist Matt DeVries and replaced him with Jeff Hughell, formerly of the Santa Cruz, California technical death metal band BRAIN DRILL and Concord, California death metal group VILE, and currently of RECIPROCAL.

Bassist Terry Butler and drummer Greg Gall announced their departures from SIX FEET UNDER in January 2011. Butler has since joined OBITUARY as a permanent member.

Candlelight Records has set a September 17 European release date for "The Cursed Remain Cursed", the new album from New York's VISION OF DISORDER. Produced by Will Putney (SHADOWS FALL, SUICIDE SILENCE) and mixed by Cameron Webb (MOTÖRHEAD, SOCIAL DISTORTION), the CD features eleven new songs, including the album's lead single "Loveless". It is the first new recording by the band in over ten years.

"We feel we accomplished a very unique, vicious and exciting record without compromising the V.O.D. brand of hardcore," says guitarist Mike Kennedy. "'The Cursed Remain Cursed' sounds like nothing we've ever done." Vocalist Tim Williams adds, "the songs are raw, real and from the heart."

Seton Hall University's WSOU recently welcomed Kennedy and Williams in studio for an interview to discuss the band's history and the lengthy creative and recording process of "The Cursed Remain Cursed". During the live broadcast, "Loveless" was played for the first time. Music director Deeps Gera excitedly proclaims, "V.O.D. are back with a hard, driving sound that will make you insane!" "Loveless" impacted metal radio nationwide the week of June 25; the single placing #2 Most Added on CMJ's Loud Rock chart. Music Choice music director Gary Susalis comments, "V.O.D. is one of the last true hardcore bands and they are back with an amazingly volatile record."

VISION OF DISORDER performed this at the CBGB Festival in New York City earlier in the month. The band participated in the three-day event that included live music and film events at over 30 venues throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn. Williams says, "It was a great honor to be a part of the 2012 CBGB music festival. We were very happy to be asked to take part in such an iconic show. If you had told us this was going to happen back in 1994 we would have never believed it. As for the set, it was everything you would expect from a NYC hardcore show. It was packed, hot, and with no barricade the kids were flying all over the place. The crowd was singing along and the new song went over well."

In an interview with Terrorizer magazine, Williams stated about the band's new CD, "This record is vintage V.O.D., but we've all grown as musicians and individuals since the last stuff we released. It's pretty diverse. You've got songs like 'Blood Red Sun' that are among the most forward-thinking, progressive things we've ever done, while still being real vicious — but there are some straight-up numbers too, like 'Hard Times' and 'Loveless'. Lyrically, it's coming from a pretty dark place, falling into the pits of one's own personal hell, and having to crawl out or die down there, plus there's some more political stuff, too. This has been a long time in the making and we just went with what felt right."

Regarding the musical direction of VISION OF DISORDER's new material, bassist Mike Fleischmann previously told Greg Prato of UGO, "The songs are what you would expect from V.O.D. — very aggressive and melodic. We really feel that on these new songs we have kind of mixed up all of our past efforts into a blender with a dash of new flavor, and we are excited to see what V.O.D. fans will think of it."

VISION OF DISORDER's current lineup includes singer Tim Williams, guitarists Matt Baumbach and Mike Kennedy, Fleischmann and drummer Brendon Cohen.

The band's last studio album, "From Bliss to Devastation", came out in 2001 via TVT Records.

VISION OF DISORDER toured with some of metal's biggest names during the late 1990s — including PANTERA, BLACK SABBATH, TYPE O NEGATIVE, ANTHRAX and BAD BRAINS — before calling it quits in 2001, and then reuniting in 2008.

Bach last week posted a letter on his Facebook page in which he said he is willing to reunite with his former band SKID ROW. "For the fans, I would be willing to put my ego aside and do something that would be special for the people who put us where we are today," he wrote. "I do not personally want it myself. But it's not always about 'what I want.' If the fans really want to see us together, I would do it for the fans. Sometimes you can do things for people other than yourself."

Bach said he wanted to write the letter in response to current SKID ROW singer Johnny Solinger's new interview in which Johnny said a recent tweet by Bach about a possible SKID ROW reunion was an attempt to "get attention."

Bach last month released a video for the song "I'm Alive". The clip is one of three videos (alongside "Kicking & Screaming" and "TunnelVision") that the singer filmed on June 28, 2011 in Hollywood, California with director Devin DeHaven of Fortress Entertainment (PAPA ROACH, WHITESNAKE, METHOD MAN, TALIB KWELI).

"I'm Alive" comes off Bach's new album, "Kicking & Screaming", which sold 6,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 73 on The Billboard 200 chart. The singer's previous CD, "Angel Down", opened with 6,400 units back in November 2007 to debut at No. 190.

When asked why he thinks the sound of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES has stood the test of time, the band's frotnman, Mike Muir, told Loudwire in a recent interview, "I think for us, when we started we didn't really know what we were doing. We didn't really set out and try to do something for other people. We stood there and did what we liked. We didn't care what other people thought. After we did our first record, one of my good friends came up to me and said, 'Yo, Mike, I got to talk to you. People aren't going to like the album. It's not music. You have an opportunity to make music that people can listen to on the radio.' But I didn't think that was an opportunity because I didn't like what I was hearing on the radio. Our barometer is not what people are going to think or how many records we can sell. We just want to be proud of what we make. That's why it stands the test of time. We did records that we thought were really good."

On the topic of SUICIDAL TENDENCIES' plans to release a new studio album, Muir said, "We've always had new music in the works. Now it's actually to the point that we have some that we're ready to put out. Now is the time to put out a new record and we feel really, really good about it. There will definitely be a record out this year.

Regarding what fans can expect from the upcoming CD, Muir said, "The way we look at it is that next year will be the 30th anniversary of our first record. When we look at a record, we don't want to have it sound like 2012. We want it to sound awesome 25 years from now, so when a kid who wasn't even born when we made it listens to it, he's like, 'Damn, that's a cool record!' I just had a guy from a radio station tell me that some listeners have been requesting the new song 'Institutionalized'. The young listeners don't realize that's an old song! Something like [METALLICA's recent Orion Music + More festival] is good for us, too, because a lot of people who wouldn't have listened to us will check us out because they know Robert [Trujillo, METALLICA bassist] was in the band."

A389 Recordings will release a new single by New Orleans punk/metal legends EYEHATEGOD.

Between touring in EYEHATEGOD and their numerous affiliated projects, the band has been slowly stacking up new demo material to put towards an upcoming album. You may have heard a few songs in the band's live set as of late, including the recent staple "New Orleans Is The New Vietnam", which will make its recorded debut via this new seven-inch release, due on the street by late summer.

When asked how this pairing came to be, EYEHATEGOD guitarist/founder Jimmy Bower explains: "We played A389's anniversary party a while back and they do really cool releases, so we figured, let's do a cool seven-inch before the new album."

A389's Domenic Romeo adds: "It's been amazing watching this band refuse to release anything subpar, and just take their time with their new material making sure everything is dialed in just right. This new single is a great indication of what's to come."

EYEHATEGOD released an official live DVD in March 2011 via MVD. Simply titled "Live", the 88-minute production features multi-camera footage from 2009 (Baltimore, Maryland) and 2010 (Cleveland, Ohio), with bonus clips from the last show of their 2010 European tour and videos never before released on DVD.

Since forming in 1988, EYEHATEGOD has defied all odds and continues to exist and persist despite personal and professional setbacks. They've been called doomcore, sludge and stoner rock, survived line-up shuffles, label hassles and a short-lived split. And after more than two decades of creating some of the most corrosive, vile music known to man, EYEHATEGOD still hasn't lost the piss and vinegar that fueled it back in '88.

The first of three video "chapters" introducing "The Moment You Realize You're Going To Fall", the long-awaited sophomore album from BLACK LIGHT BURNS, the avant-garde alter ego of LIMP BIZKIT/ex-MARILYN MANSON guitarist Wes Borland, can be seen below. The clip was directed by Agata Alexander.

MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil joined SLAUGHTER on stage in July 6 at the Sunset Station Amphitheater in Henderson, Nevada to perform the CRÜE classic "Home Sweet Home". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below.

SLAUGHTER bassist Dana Strum and guitarist Jeff "Blando" Bland are both longtime members of Neil's solo backing band.

Neil's latest solo album, "Tattoos & Tequila", was recorded in the winter of 2009 with Strum, Bland and drummer Zoltan Chaney. The album includes two new songs — "Tattoos & Tequila" and "Another Bad Day", both produced by Marti Frederiksen (AEROSMITH, OZZY OSBOURNE, DEF LEPPARD) — plus a selection of classic cuts from some of the rock giants that have influenced Vince Neil throughout his musical career.

Vocalist Tobias Sammet of German melodic metallers EDGUY slipped off the stage yesterday (Saturday, July 14) during the fifth song of the band's performance at the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Balingen, Germany. While the rest of the band continued to play, Tobias fell into the photographers' pit, hit the concrete ground and sustained a number of injuries: a fracture of the nose, a severe hip contusion, a severe rib contusion and several abrasions and cuts. Despite the fact that Tobias was in severe pain, EDGUY performed its full set, which went on for another hour.

Commented Tobias:"Thanks for your kind wishes. I am alright. I do not have a clue how it happened. The stage wasn't damp, my shoes were alright, I do not have to mention that I was completely sober as this must have been obvious to everyone. I have no clue how it happened. I just fell and suddenly there was blood and a little pain, which got worse song by song. I didn't know you can squeeze so much blood out of such a little nose (well, it‘s not exactly little at this point...). The doctor just said the nose will be fine in a few weeks. Anyway, there was too much adrenaline to stop the show. The fans were so great, it just felt wrong to stop the show, so we decided to just go on and have the doctors repair me afterwards. I am okay now, looking terrible and hurting, but who cares... I‘ll be fine. Thank you for your wishes and for making the show a great show, despite the little incident."

EDGUY's new album, "Age Of The Joker", sold around 1,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD debuted at No. 21 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

EDGUY's previous CD, "Tinnitus Sanctus", opened with 600 units back in February 2009 to land at No. 88 on the Top New Artist Albums chart.

"Age Of The Joker" was released in Europe on August 29, 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Peppermint Park studio (SCORPIONS, PHIL COLLINS) in Hannover, which was previously described by the group as "a recording temple with a tremendously great-sounding room." The album features 11 songs with a total running time of over one hour. The limited-edition digipack contains a bonus disc with six additional songs.

During THE ACACIA STRAIN's July 10 concert at Kingdom in Richmond, Virginia, the band's lead vocalist, Vincent Bennett, led the audience in a chant of support for LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe, who is facing manslaughter charges in the Czech Republic.

"One of my biggest fears in the entire world is being locked up in some weird fucking country for no goddamn reason at all," Vincent said from the stage (see video below). "And that's what's happening right now to Richmond's own Randy Blythe. I don't know if there is anything we can do, but I'll bet you $500 that the Czech Republic government has a Twitter or a Facebook, so you should probably write them and tell them to stop being so stupid and let this man go."

He added, "I've been to the Czech Republic, and it's very nice, but I would never wanna be jailed in it."

According to WTVR-TV — the CBS television affiliate based in Richmond, Virginia — official sources have confirmed that Blythe's next Czech court appearance in connection with the death of a fan at one of LAMB OF GOD's concerts is scheduled for Thursday, July 19.

Blythe, 41, is accused of causing the fatal injury that occurred at LAMB OF GOD's May 24, 2010 show in Prague. The singer allegedly either pushed or struck a 19-year-old fan named Daniel N. — a guitarist in a local metal group — and that person died almost a month later of bleeding in the brain.

Randy has been charged with causing "bodily harm of the fourth degree, resulting in the death of a fan" and faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

Blythe, who has already posted bail of 4 million Czech Koruna (approximately $200,000), will have been imprisoned for three weeks by the time he gets his next day in court.

During a new interview with RollingStone.com, legendary guitarist Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) revealed that he is already looking ahead to recording his next album, to feature the same band with which he made the current "Apocalyptic Love" CD. "We've got the tour that's gonna go into next year, we're starting work on the next record," Slash said.

Slash and his band MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS — Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums), Todd Kerns (bass) and Frank Sidoris (guitar) — announced a fall headlining tour starting September 4 in San Diego, California and wrapping October 3 in Los Angeles, California.

Slash scored his first-ever No. 1 hit at rock radio as a solo artist with "You're A Lie", the first single from his second solo effort, "Apocalyptic Love". The record came out on May 22 and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard album chart a week later, selling 38,000 copies in its first week of release.

Unlike Slash's solo debut, which featured different vocalists on each track and a number of guest musicians, Slash has recorded all of the new CD with his touring band, MYLES KENNEDY AND THE CONSPIRATORS.

Slash co-wrote all the material with ALTER BRIDGE singer Myles Kennedy and told The Pulse Of Radio that they never struggled to find a groove together. "There was never any kind of like, 'OK, we need to sit down and focus on writing,'" he said. "Just whenever ideas happened, I would just lay them down, and if I thought it was good enough to send to him, then I'd send it to him. And he miraculously would come up with melodies for everything I came up with, and it just happened like that."

Slash and his band recently completed a month-long tour of Europe.

The cover artwork for the forthcoming tribute album to David Gold — a founding member of the Ontario, Canada-based black and doom metal band WOODS OF YPRES, who was killed in December in a car accident near Barrie, Ontario — can be seen below.

Formed in 2002, WOODS OF YPRES has earned critical acclaim for its ever-evolving, envelope-pushing mix of blackened doom metal. ASHENVEIL, the new "ambitious" female-fronted metal band out of New Jersey featuring OPERATIKA drummer Yuri Liakhovitch and SYMPHONY X bassist Mike LePond, will release an EP, "Black Of Light", in August. The CD was mixed by Jeremy Krull (DARK EMPIRE) and was mastered at Finnvox studios (NIGHTWISH, CHILDREN OF BODOM) in Helsinki, Finland. Described by LePond as "heavy metal-sounding BLACKMORE'S NIGHT," ASHENVEIL was formed in the summer of 2009 when a group of friends met up for a jamming session. They clicked and the chemistry between the players was obvious to all. At that point, the songwriting process began and the direction of the band was musically defined and established. Eager for great things to happen, after a series of extensive rehearsals, the band — under its former name, TRACE OF EMPTINESS — performed several shows locally to get their foot in the door, gain exposure and start building the fan base. However, it wasn’t until singer and songwriter Christine Greenwood joined in March 2010 to take over the vocal duties that the band was able to maximize its potential and reach the point where "only sky was the limit." With Christine's unique voice handling operatic soprano or alto singing styles, modified and tailored for each individual song, the band went on to record its first demo that was completed by the end of April 2010. After a series of lineup changes, Rich Fischer on the guitar joined the band in 2011 and brought much-needed technicality and versatility to complete the band’s unique and multidimensional sound.
