DORNENREICH: New Album Details„Greetings! During the last months Inve and I have been working on new songs intensively. The violin- and guitarlines for four tracks are ready so far. Further five or six will follow. We will elaborate the final arrangements together with Gilvan during the forthcomiung months. When it comes to the instrumentation everything is possible yet. However, at the moment it’s probable that we’ll also use electric guitars apart from the basic acoustic guitars.
Besides we intend to to record the acoustic version of Reime faucht der Märchensarg for the album – finally. Plus: There will be a song on the album which I have been treasuring within me for the last twelve years. Musically it reminds me of a continuation of our song Woran erkennt mich deine Sehnsucht morgen?
Moreover it’s very probable that an old companion will contribute some vocals to the album. It’s Thomas Helm of Empyrium. If everything will go as we plan it we will record the album from February to April 2013… Well, that’s the news from my side. Bye for now!” (Eviga, April 2012)

FEAR FACTORY: Audio Sample Of New Song Available For StreamingA 49-second audio snippet of "Recharger", a brand new song from Los Angeles cyber metallers FEAR FACTORY, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. Due to be released as a digital single on April 24, the track comes off the band's new album, "The Industrialist", which will arrive in North America on June 5 via Candlelight Records. The CD is a conceptual record based around a story written by vocalist Burton C. Bell. Lyrics to the album's ten songs divulge the narrative as discussed recently by Bell with Decibel magazine. The album's artwork was created by American designer Anthony Clarkson with additional direction from the band. The album will be available on three formats — standard CD, a limited edition deluxe digi-book (featuring two additional songs), and 180-gram double vinyl.
Bell notes, "The protagonist (The Industrialist) is the incarnation of all industries in the form of an automaton. The mechanical, technological, and scientific advances through the industrial age led to the creation of The Industrialist. In the story, the automaton becomes sentient as it collects memories with each passing day. Through observation and learning, it gains the will to exist. What was meant to help man, will eventually be man's demise."
"The Industrialist" again pairs FEAR FACTORY with producer Rhys Fulber. Mixed by Greg Reely (PARADISE LOST, SKINNY PUPPY, MACHINE HEAD), with additional tracking by Logan Mader (GOJIRA, DIVINE HERESY), the album is the second written by Bell and guitarist Dino Cazares since reuniting in 2009 after a seven-year split. Cazares says, "Collaborating with Burton again on the new album was like magic. Everything just fell into place naturally. It felt good to recapture the true sound of FEAR FACTORY, taking it back to where it all started while raising it to new levels." Regarding Fulber, Cazares says, "Rhys has been our secret member. He is the one producer who has been able to understand what we have been trying to accomplish from the beginning and has opened our eyes to new things without sacrificing our original sound. His production and keyboard talents has made FEAR FACTORY stand out amongst the many bands of our genre."
"The Industrialist" track listing:
01. The Industrialist
02. Recharger
03. New Messiah
04. God Eater
05. Depraved Mind Murder
06. Virus of Faith
07. Difference Engine
08. Dissemble
09. Religion is Flawed Because Man is Flawed
10. Human Augmentation
11. Blush Response (Difference Engine) *
12. Landfill *
* Available on deluxe digibook only
FEAR FACTORY's first tour dates since 2011 kick off with four performances in South America, including Brazil, Argentina, and Chile, before starting American dates in San Antonio on May 1. Support on the trek will come from SHADOWS FALL, THE BROWNING, THE DEVASTED and LEGACY OF DISORDER.

"Stalingrad" was made available in the following formats:
* Limited CD+DVD
* CD
* 2LP (red) in gatefold
* 2LP (white/red) in gatefold - exclusive Nuclear Blast mailorder edition
Commented ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffman: "ACCEPT and Andy Sneap have the perfect synergy. This was so clear with 'Blood Of The Nations' and we are excited to continue on that path. Andy is not only an amazing and prolific producer but also a very good friend who has long become a member of the ACCEPT family."
Regarding the musical direction of ACCEPT's new album, Hoffmann told The Rock Pit last year, "We're just gonna have the same attitude, the approach; we're just gonna do more of the same, you know, without it being the same. More similar-style stuff, hopefully fresh new ideas. And I mean, we're not gonna… The intention is not to change it right now. I mean, why would we? . . . But I have to say, it's always easier said than done. It's incredibly difficult to write songs that are sort of reminiscent of the past but they're not, you know, rip-offs of your own music. That sounds incredibly very simple, but it's really not, especially if you have a sort of history of 15 albums or whatever we have. Then there are always similarities that you have to avoid. It can't be too close, but it can't be too far away from it. So it's a pretty fine line that you have to walk sometimes, but, you know, hopefully we'll manage again."
ACCEPT 2012 is:
Wolf Hoffmann: Guitar
Peter Baltes: Bass
Herman Frank: Guitar
Mark Tornillo: Vocals
Stefan Schwarzmann: Drums

STEVEN ADLER: I Have No Idea Why AXL Would Hate SLASH (Video)Questions remain about which members of GUNS N' ROSES will show up for their April 14 induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio. Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed will all be there, but it was reported a few days ago that Izzy Stradlin won't attend and Axl Rose's participation is still unclear.
Slash said last week that GUNS N' ROSES will not perform at the event, and Stradlin's absence would seem to confirm that whether Rose shows up or not.
Slash told Rolling Stone earlier this week that Rose "hates my guts." The two have not performed together since 1993. Rose currently tours with a completely different version of GUNS N' ROSES featuring no original members but him.
During a 2009 interview with longtime friend and former road manager Del James, first published on Spinner, Rose called Slash a "cancer."
"There's zero possibility of me having anything to do with Slash other than by ambush, and that wouldn't be pretty," Rose told James. "There is the distinct possibility that having his intentions in regard to me so deeply ingrained and his personal, though guarded, distaste for much of 'Appetite [For Destruction'] the band's diamond-certified debut album] other than his or Duff's playing, Slash either should not have been in GUNS to begin with or should have left after 'Lies'. In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided — and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters, the better."
Speaking to the Artisan News last week (see video below), Adler stated about the bad blood between Rose and Slash, "I have no idea why [Axl] would hate [Slash]. I don't think Axl knows why he hates him. It's been too many years. And my grandmother always said, 'Stevie, time heals all wounds.' And my grandmother has always been right — pretty much through my life, everything she said pretty much came to pass. And there's been many times [where I thought], 'Yeah, grandmother said that was gonna happen.' [Laughs]"

Former KORN Guitarist's LOVE AND DEATH: 'Chemicals' EP Cover Art Unveiled"Chemicals", the new EP from LOVE AND DEATH, the new band led by former KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch, will be released on April 24. An intense semi-animated music video for the title track shot by POAB Designs/Martillo Pictures will follow soon.
The "Chemicals" cover art can be seen below.
Regarding his decision to call his group LOVE AND DEATH, Welch recently said, "I put this band together in 2009. Since then, we've experienced some very intense highs and lows. Michael Valentine, Dan Johnson, J.R. Bareis and myself have toured around the world playing a lot of killer shows, but we've also had some heart-shattering difficulties along the way. To us, the name LOVE AND DEATH symbolizes everything we've been through as a band over the last few years. We love this band so much and we'll go through hell to connect with our fans. We've proven that to ourselves over and over again."
With LOVE AND DEATH, the music now lives under its own banner.
"Many people have confused my speaking dates and our band dates because they were both being booked as Brian 'Head' Welch," said Welch. "I have wanted to use a band name for branding my music for a few years. It has been an ongoing discussion with my management, but we were just starting to tour and I was in the middle of supporting my third book and it seemed like a bad time to switch names. Now with the new music coming out, it's time to really separate the things I do. I want the music to be about music. I will still be doing public speaking under Brian 'Head' Welch. I am happy that all the confusion will be over."
LOVE AND DEATH formed when Welch decided to have open auditions on YouTube in 2009. "I picked the guys and then had a jam session in Phoenix," says Welch. "Over the last couple of years, there have been a few lineup changes as we went through normal growing pains. The current band has been together and touring for a while now and they are a big part of the new music and the future of LOVE AND DEATH."

SYNESIS ABSORPTION: 'Forever Untouched' Video Released"Forever Untouched", the new video from the SYNESIS ABSORPTION project, can be seen below.
SYNESIS ABSORPTION was created in late 2009 by Miloš Batocanin (DISDAINED), who had an idea to start a brutal death metal band in Serbia. While working as a one-man band for almost a year, this project then ceased to exist since it was impossible to find a steady lineup for live performances. All the material which was recorded was never released. A short time later, however, the project was resurrected when Mike Smith (SUFFOCATION) agreed to record the drums for the band's new material. Since then, Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS) took over the bass and Robbert Kok (DISAVOWED) became the band's lead vocalist.
SYNESIS ABSORPTION's music is described in a press release as "a mixture of brutal/technical death metal with a slight touch of modern math metal along with some experimental/ambient passages."
The band is currently working on material for its full-length debut.
SYNESIS ABSORPTION recording lineup:
Robbert Kok (DISAVOWED) - Vocals
Miloš Batocanin (DISDAINED) - Guitars/Vocals
Steve DiGiorgio (SADUS) - Bass
Michael Smith (SUFFOCATION) - Drums

DELAIN Singer Involved In 'Queer Amsterdam' ProjectSinger Charlotte Wessels of Dutch symphonic metallers DELAIN has issued the following update:
"I would like to bring your attention a new project I'm personally involved with; 'Queer Amsterdam'.
"'Queer Amsterdam' will be a TV series on the Amsterdam queer community, and basically a serie about everyone who is a bit different in a way. In the underground scene of Berlin, 'queer' is a name for those who can't find themselves in the binary oppositions of male/female, gay/straight, black/white, etc.
"Four young filmmakers who identify themselves as queer are fed up with the old-fahioned labels (lesbian, gay, bi, trans) and plan on showing you their world from a whole new perspective. Where most films and series stop at the usual conflicts like the coming out, this pilot shows you their world that for many is unknown until now. This world is about love, drama, work, humor, friendship, but also about being 'different'. And this might be closer to you then you think. In fact, everyone is a little bit 'queer'; gay and straight, man and woman, and this includes you, too.
"I am very happy that the 'Queer Amsterdam' crew have asked me to provide them with music they can use for the series. I am currently writing for the pilot and will introduce you to my partners in crime soon. I am really proud to be involved in this very important project!
"So what's the plan? 'Queer Amsterdam' have released a trailer video which is supporting their crowdfunding action so they can record the pilot this summer, and make the series happen! If you want to contribute to this series, please visit their crowdfunding page.
"The pilot is completely dependent on funds and the community so your help is very welcome! (Please, note the music in the trailer is not me yet, although you might be able to spot me here and there in the trailer.)"
DELAIN will release its long-awaited third album, "We Are The Others", on June 1 in the Benelux and Germany; and on June 4 in the U.K. and France through CNR Entertainment and Roadrunner Records. The lead single, "Get The Devil Out Of Me", hits stores on April 13 (April 15 for U.K.) to coincide with the start of the band's European tour.

SLASH Remembers JIM MARSHALLLegendary guitarist Slash (VELVET REVOLVER, GUNS N' ROSES) has released the following statement regarding the passing of Jim Marshall, the creator of the Marshall amplifier:
"I consider myself very fortunate to have known the late Jim Marshall. He was such a fantastic individual.
"Not only did he create the loudest, most effective, brilliant-sounding rock and roll amplifier ever designed, but he was a caring, hardworking family man who remained true to his integrity to the very end. His work ethic was unequaled and his passion unrivaled.
"He took great care of me personally, as one of his loyal fans and Marshall amp enthusiasts, ever since we first met in the early '90s.
"At that time, he did the unprecedented; he had the first-ever artist model Marshall series designed for me when my Marshall amps were destroyed in a GUNS N' ROSES concert riot in St. Louis in 1991. We had been friends ever since.
"Jim cared for all his customers like they were his family. He would do whatever it took to make sure an artist was completely satisfied and he made sure his staff did likewise. It was very important to him that Marshall quality and customer care was paramount.
"Jim's passing marks the end of a very loud and colorful era. From Pete Townshend to Kerry King, Marshall amplifiers have been behind every great rock and roll guitarist since the beginning. Marshall Amplification is one of the most enduring, iconic brands of contemporary music history.
"This industry will likely never see the likes of Jim again. But his legacy will live on forever."
Marshall died last week at the age of 88. A message posted at the web site of Marshall Amplification, the company he founded 50 years ago, stated, "Jim's ascent into the history books as 'the Father of Loud' and the man responsible for 'the Sound of Rock' is a true rags-to-riches tale. Cruelly robbed of his youth by tubercular bones, Jim rose to become one of the four forefathers responsible for creating the tools that allowed rock guitar as we know and love it today to be born. The groundbreaking quartet also included the late, great trio of Leo Fender, Les Paul and Seth Lover — together with Jim, they truly are the cornerstones of all things rock."
The site described Marshall as "a legendary man who led a full and truly remarkable life."
The cause of Marshall's death was not announced.
A former singer, drummer and music shop owner, Marshall eventually landed a job as an electrical engineer that helped him design a transportable amplifier to use at his own live shows. Consulting with musicians like THE WHO's Pete Townshend and DEEP PURPLE's Ritchie Blackmore, Marshall refined his invention and opened Marshall Amplification in 1962.
By the mid-1960s, he had created the classic Marshall Stack, consisting of one head containing the actual amplifier, on top of two stacked loudspeaker cabinets each containing four 12-inch loudspeakers arranged in a square layout. The setup has become an iconic symbol of rock music played as loud as possible.

RANDY RHOADS 30th Annual Memorial: Video Footage, Report AvailableLeja Siv Harju of Rock N Roll Industries magazine conducted interviews with original QUIET RIOT bassist Kelly Garni and current QUIET RIOT and former W.A.S.P. drummer Frankie Banali at the 30th annual Randy Rhoads memorial event, which was held on March 19, 2012 at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino, California. Part of the interview footage can be seen below. The full report is available at the Rock N Roll Industries magazine.
Before his tragic death at the age of 25, Randy Rhoads was on a fast track to being hailed by critics and public alike as the greatest rock guitar player of all time. Over a short two-year period, Randy recorded two seminal multi-platinum albums with Ozzy Osbourne, which are heralded today as among the most noteworthy recordings in hard rock music history. Through his jaw-dropping six-string work on songs such as "Crazy Train", "Mr. Crowley" and "Flying High Again", Randy Rhoads achieved legendary status as a guitar icon and his artistic legacy continues to grow with each passing year.
A brilliant guitar virtuoso, Randy's masterful ability of bridging rock and classical techniques helped him forge a groundbreaking style of guitar playing. In 1981, Guitar Player magazine honored Randy by selecting him as best new talent of the year. Humble and self-effacing, Randy refused to rest on his laurels. Instead, being bestowed with this prestigious award motivated him to strive for greater creative heights. Tragically, Randy's life ended much too soon when on the morning of March 19, 1982 he was killed in a small private plane that careened into the garage of a plantation home in Leesburg, Florida.
Randy Rhoads' ascendancy to super-stardom was inevitable. Tirelessly honing his craft, he was a devoted student of his instrument, endlessly practicing and perfecting his skills. His days were spent as a guitar teacher and by night he solidified his rising reputation as the "next big thing" on the Hollywood club scene. His big break arrived when he assumed the lead guitar slot in Ozzy Osbourne's solo band. Soon the entire music world would be dazzled by his spectacular flights of fiery fretboard sizzle, swiftly recognizing the merits of this burgeoning guitar genius.
With his dynamic six-string wizardry, Randy Rhoads invented an exciting and technically advanced style of explosive hard rock guitar playing that dominated the '80s music scene. Decades later, his massive influence continues to shape, educate and inspire first, second and third generation players and music fans that marvel at his extraordinary musicality and stunning instrumental prowess. Today, Randy's legendary status as a guitar hero is assured, joining the pantheon of rock's Mt. Olympus where he stands proudly alongside such revered guitar heroes as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, and Ritchie Blackmore.
No one-trick pony, Randy was well versed in a multitude of musical genres seamlessly cross-navigating rock, blues and classical. In fact, his immense love of classical music continued to be a driving force in his life. Until his untimely death, he continued to take classical guitar lessons in an effort to break new ground as a player.
Today, mythologized and immortalized, Randy Rhoads has become a veritable pop culture institution. Paying homage to his pioneering ability, Marshall Amplifiers created a custom amplifier that bears Randy's name and signature sound. Action figures and sculptures with Randy's likeness have become highly sought after collector's items, while Jackson Guitars have sold millions of Randy Rhoads model guitars, pleasing the late guitarist's loyal legion of dedicated followers. His image graces innumerable music magazine covers annually.

ANVIL Tribute Album In The WorksSkol Records is putting together the first-ever "A Tribute To Anvil" compilation, to be released in early 2013 as a deluxe limited CD and LP, with a thick booklet and exclusive front cover artwork. The album will be produced by Bart Gabriel, who — in addition to helming albums by such bands as JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR, CRYSTAL VIPER, LONEWOLF and SACRED STEEL — has produced the "A Tribute To Cirith Ungol", "A Tribute To Metalucifer" And "A Tribute To Sabbat" compilations, as well as several other cover songs which later landed on tribute albums to such acts as W.A.S.P., ANGEL WITCH, MANILLA ROAD, WARLOCK and RUNNING WILD.
Commented Gabriel: "This will be a real tribute, a really high-quality release, because ANVIL deserve to have one. I realize it won't be a bestseller, but all those who have seen 'Anvil! The Story Of Anvil' movie will understand what's the driving force behind this project."
He added, "I'm one of those guys who got inspired by ANVIL to continue, to follow my dreams, to never give up. And I know there are many, many bands around who feel like the movie is about them as well. It's all about positive energy, and I'm truly honored that the project was approved and blessed by ANVIL members, [which is what] makes it even more special!"
"Anvil! The Story of Anvil" was named one of 2009's best documentaries by a slew of film critics associations across the continent, including critics in Chicago, San Francisco, Toronto, and Las Vegas, as well as the International Documentary Association, the Online Film Critics Society, and the National Society of Film Critics. It also made the year-end Top 10 lists in publications such as the New York Times, Washington Post, Newsweek, and Village Voice.

FALKENBACH Going to Release EP?One of the earliest ideas of mine regarding Falkenbach, which I kept in mind throughout all the years, was to create an independent release beside the albums. Since the new album is still asking for alot of work and time, we recently came back to the concept of a strictly limited EP/Mini. Having in mind 2 songs exklusively for this release, maybe 1 or 2 more as some kind of bonus. What do you think?

THE MURDER OF MY SWEET - enthüllen \'Bye Bye Lullaby\' Track List!
Please welcome: THE MURDER OF MY SWEET!
"Bye Bye Lullaby" Tracklist:
01. Armageddon
02. Fallen
03. Unbreakable
04. I Dare You
05. Violently Peaceful
06. Meant To Last Forever
07. Idolize
08. Kind Of Lousy
09. The One
10. Resurrection
11. Waiting For The 27th

You can now listen to the program using the audio player below. Also available is quality video footage of HUNTRESS performing the song "Eight Of Swords" on April 1 at Club Soda in Montrea, Quebec, Canada as part of the "Paganfest America Part III" tour with TURISAS, ALESTORM and ARKONA (EX DEO also appeared at the Montreal show).
HUNTRESS will release its debut album, "Spell Eater", on April 27 via Napalm Records.
The track listing for the CD is as follows:

04. Snow Witch
05. Eight of Swords
06. Aradia
07. Night Rape
08. Children

10. The Tower
11. The Dark
The official video for the CD's first single, "Eight Of Swords", can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Simon Chan of Artificial Army and was produced/engineered by Chris Rakestraw of Sunset Lodge Recording.
Janus told AOL's Noisecreep about the "Spell Eater" artwork, "The album cover captures the beauty and brutality of HUNTRESS. Vance Kelly is a warlock and he took our vision and created a magical illustration that breathes glory into the old crone. We contemplated having either a sultry sorceress or decrepit forest witch as our cover babe. Ultimately, the crone won because she is the true Huntress."
According to a press release, "HUNTRESS lead singer Jill Janus is an operatic banshee with an unparalleled four-octave range and lust for the occult. Born and raised in the Catskill Mountains of New York, she toured Europe as a teenage opera starlet. Upon her return to the States, Janus embraced Manhattan nightlife, creating Felliniesque cabarets and parties in a nihilistic club scene. Years later, Janus moved to Los Angeles and began the gestation period of HUNTRESS. In 2009 she met underground metal band PROFESSOR. The universe spread her legs and delivered HUNTRESS to Janus, combining former members of PROFESSOR, DARK BLACK and SKELETONWITCH."
HUNTRESS will support DRAGONFORCE on a North American tour starting on April 21 at the annual New England Metal & Hardcore Festival in Worcester, Massachusetts.
HUNTRESS is:
Vocals: Jill Janus
Lead Guitar: Blake Meahl
Rhythm Guitar: Ian Alden
Drums: Carl Wierzbicky

IN THIS MOMENT: New Album Title RevealedSouthern California's IN THIS MOMENT has set "Blood" as the title of its fourth album, due this summer via longtime label Century Media Records. The CD was once again produced by Kevin Churko, who has previously worked with OZZY OSBOURNE and FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, among others.
IN THIS MOMENT began work on the new album just a few months following the departures of drummer Jeff Fabb and guitarist Blake Bunzel, who left the band late last year in order to join the backing group of "American Idol" finalist James Durbin. Fabb and Bunzel have since been replaced by Tom Hane (THYATEIRA) and Randy Weitzel (FLATLINE, 3/13, AMERICAN MASSACRE), respectively.
Commented IN THIS MOMENT frontwoman Maria Brink: "There are no words to describe how excited we are... We are on fire with this record. It's by far the most powerful material we have ever written.
"IN THIS MOMENT has gone through some big changes. I admit sometimes change is scary, especially when facing the unknown, but in this case everything has been perfectly meant to be. It's a brave, dark, hard-hitting album that will make you feel dirty inside, but still wanting more."
Added guitarist Chris Howorth: "Over the last six months, we have undergone some interesting changes within the band. As a result, Maria and I were brought closer together united in our mutual determination to top everything we have previously done with IN THIS MOMENT. It's our fourth album and we definitely have something to prove this time. During the writing process Maria, Kevin and I are pushing ourselves to make sure every song is something unique and special. I honestly feel this is the most focused and powerful music we have ever created and I am beyond psyched to get it out there for people to hear."
In a recent interview with Australia's Loud magazine, Maria stated about IN THIS MOMENT's new material, "We brought some stuff to the table that we've never done before and it really sounds like something special, something new. I can't explain it; I mean, if you know our old music, when you hear the new stuff you're going to go, 'Holy shit, okay, I totally get it.' But I don't want to give away anything either, it's just unique; it's something new we've brought to the table. We found something special within us; we found this certain thing, so I'm excited for it."
Regarding IN THIS MOMENT's split with Fabb and Bunzel, Brink said, "You know how sometimes, you don't realize sometimes something happening (that's) traumatic, that it can be the most beautiful thing that could have happened to you? It's like one of those situations. It got really stripped back down to me and Chris [Howorth, guitar], and me and Chris started this band together, just me and him, and then it was like everybody came to the table, everybody brings their own influence. I believe it was all meant to be, all of those albums with them. I love them, I wish them the best. But it was almost like this new, with just me and Chris, this new fire, this new strength within me that I just… magical things started happening between what we started creating. And it's just so meant to be; it's meant to be that they moved on and some other things in my life, it's so cool 'cause it's just like this brand new everything and it feels really awesome. And you're going to be able to hear it."
IN THIS MOMENT took a short break from recording to play at the Soundwave Festival in Australia and has since returned to the studio. Upon completion of the new album and in advance of the summer touring season, the band will head out on a brief run of American tour dates in May including an appearance at Rock On The Range in Columbus, Ohio.

HATEBREED Joined By LAMB OF GOD Frontman At Santiago Concert (Video)LAMB OF GOD frontman Randy Blythe joined HATEBREED on stage this past Wednesday at the Sonic Metal Fest at Teatro Caupolican in Santiago, Chile to perform the song "Doomsayer". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
HATEBREED is in the middle of a seven-date tour of South America and Mexico with LAMB OF GOD and LACUNA COIL (on select shows).
Writing on Twitter, LAMB OF GOD guitarist Mark Morton said, "I wish every tour could be with HATEBREED. I laugh constantly when I'm around those dudes."
HATEBREED made pre-production recordings of some of its new material before embarking on the current tour.
In a recent interview with Australia's Loud magazine, HATEBREED frontman Jamey Jasta stated about where he sees the band's next CD going musically, "Well, there probably won't be any melody whatsoever. (laughs) It'll be fast, heavy, I would say very reminiscent of the last record's faster, heavier songs like 'Merciless Tide' and 'Hands Of A Dying Man'."
On the topic of a tentative release date for the next HATEBREED album, Jamey said, "I don't know. We were talking about that the other day and we were thinking about whether we should put something out in October, or should we try to maybe just wait until next January and tour more on the 'Perseverance' ten-year anniversary tour. Because originally we thought about doing some dates and just doing the whole 'Perseverance' album. But then we scrapped that idea and decided we were going to tour all of Europe and all of the festivals in the summer, and then promoters asked us to come to other places and we're going to do some more touring. So I don't know, I'm not sure yet."
The self-titled album from HATEBREED sold 15,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 37 on The Billboard 200 chart.

CHARM CITY DEVILS: 'Man Of Constant Sorrow' Video ReleasedBaltimore, Maryland-based rock band CHARM CITY DEVILS (formerly known as FORTY ACRES and CHOSEN SON) will release its second album, "Sins", exclusively via iTunes on April 10 through Fat Lady Music.
The first single from "Sins", a cover of "Man Of Constant Sorrow" (from the Grammy-winning soundtrack of the George Clooney Oscar-nominated film "O Brother, Where Art Thou?"), is quickly making a name for itself on the rock radio airwaves. "Man Of Constant Sorrow" recently debuted on Billboard's Active Rock chart at No. 36. The official video for the song has just been released and can be seen below. The clip was shot in Baltimore and directed by CHARM CITY DEVILS bassist Anthony Arambula.
When CHARM CITY DEVILS (singer John Allen, guitarist Vic Karrera, bassist Anthony Arambula, guitarist Nick Kay and drummer Jason Heiser) started to put the new album together, they discussed covering a classic song and incorporating it into their live show. Singer John Allen states, "There were many ideas kicked around, but which one? 'Man Of Constant Sorrow' came up and we decided to give it a try. It's an incredibly powerful song, but it was a challenge to develop and arrange it in a way that captured the essence of the song but would also rock! We all loved the version from 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' Skidd Mills and I built a foundation and with much tweaking and editing, and I think we delivered a great version of the song. The song transcends generations. It's a timeless classic and it's been around a long time. I'm excited to bring it to a whole new group of rock fans."
Recorded at Sound Kitchen Studios in Nashville with Grammy-winning producer Skidd Mills (SAVING ABEL, EGYPT CENTRAL), "Sins" finds the Baltimore band adding harder, edgier tones to their blues-based roots. The result of the band's life experiences over the past few years, "Sins" features an aggression and energy that hits you right between the eyes. From the first note of "Spite" to the last cymbal crash of "Unstoppable", "Sins" showcases the band's power, directness and new found energy and intensity.
Guitarist Nick Kay reflects on the "Sins" recording process, "Our previous record had been a compilation of songs written and recorded over a two to three year period. It was recorded in a couple of different settings and tracked by a few different people. This time, we went into one studio with one producer to give the record a cohesive sound and direction."
"Everyone has ups and downs — that's life," proclaims singer John Allen. "I've been a professional musician since I could carry my gear and have seen and experienced what this industry 'good and bad' has to offer. We wanted 'Sins' to be deep with songs that people can relate to. On this record, I wanted to put it all out there with songs about love, anger, revenge, lust and all the emotions that I was feeling. Expressing what I, and everyone in this band, had been through. These feelings are universal. They touch everyone and we used our experiences to put together a powerful statement that we believe listeners can connect with."
And what about the album title? "When it came to giving the record a title we wanted something that hit a nerve," he continues. "We have five different personalities in this band and it can sometimes be a challenge to agree on one idea. The one thing we all could agree on is in one form or another we have all sinned. Some of us more than others."
"Sins" track listing:
01. Spite
02. Unstoppable
03. Man Of Constant Sorrow
04. Still Alive
05. Walk Away
06. Devil Is A Woman
07. Start It Up
08. Love N War
09. Blame
10. Problem
11. All You'll Ever Need
CHARM CITY DEVILS' debut album, "Let's Rock 'n' Roll", was released in May 2009 via Eleven Seven Music, helmed by then-label president Nikki Sixx (MÖTLEY CRÜE co-founder/bassist).

AXL ROSE On Possibility Of GUNS N' ROSES 'Reunion' Tour: 'Not In This Lifetime' (Video)TMZ.com has posted video footage of GUNS N' ROSES frontman Axl Rose leaving the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, California last night (Friday, April 6) with 25-year-old singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey.
When asked by the cameraman if there is any chance of GUNS N' ROSES doing a reunion tour with the "full lineup," Axl replied, "Not in this lifetime."
Rose, drummer Steven Adler, guitarist Slash, bassist Duff McKagan, and guitarist Izzy Stradlin will all be inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next weekend in Cleveland, along with later GUNS N' ROSES members, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and drummer Matt Sorum.
As previously reported, GREEN DAY has been confirmed to induct GUNS N' ROSES into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, according to RollingStone.com. Their participation this year ends the speculation about who was going to induct GUNS, but questions still remain about which members of the band will show up for the April 14 ceremony in Cleveland. Slash, Duff McKagan, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum and Dizzy Reed will all be there, but it was reported this week that Izzy Stradlin won't attend and Axl Rose's participation is still unclear.
According to The Pulse Of Radio, Slash said last week that GUNS N' ROSES will not perform at the event, and Stradlin's absence would seem to confirm that whether Rose shows up or not.
Slash told RollingStone.com earlier this week that Rose "hates my guts." The two have not performed together since 1993. Rose currently tours with a completely different version of GUNS N' ROSES featuring no original members but him.
