Germany's EMERGENCY GATE will release their new album, The Nemesis Construct, on April 30th via Twilight-Vertrieb GbR. Three new songs from the album are now streaming online here.

Pure Steel Records has announced the signing of Northern Germany’s ETERNAL REIGN, who will release the their third long player, The Dawn Of Reckoning. This is Eternal Reign’s first album in five years.

According to a press release: “US- influenced '80’s power metal with a slight progressive alignment is still ruling, of course transported into the year 2010. So the more tolerant purists amongst us and also the fans with a bigger musical range will have fun with this album.”

The Dawn of Reckoning will consist of 11 tracks with a total length of 57 minutes.

A brand new LIMP BIZKIT song called "Why Try" has been posted on the band's official web site. It can also be streamed in the YouTube clip below. The track will appear on the band's new album, "Gold Cobra", which is scheduled for release this summer.

German metallers LANTLÔS will release Neon, their second album on June 11th, via Prophecy Productions. The album will be released in North America on July 13th.

The cover artwork was done by Fursy Teyssier (LES DISCRETS) and according to a press release "visualizes the strife-torn, surreal atmospheres of the album."

7Hard has announced the signing of axemen CONSTANTINE (MYSTIC PROPHECY, DESCENDING). The label will release his new album, Shredcore, in Europe on the July 2nd.

According to a press release, "Constantine is a new breed of guitar hero that has forged this epic nine-piece with his best guitar work ever, including massive opening riffs, spectacular interludes and soaring solos while effortlessly coating the whole thing in a never-ending matrix of blazing shredding."

Shredcore was produced by R.D Liapakis (Mystic Prophecy, FIREWIND, SUICIDAL ANGELS) and features drummer of Frank Huber (ex-VALLEY'S EVE) and keyboardist Bob Katsionis (Firewind).

Danish melodic black metallers ILLNATH have issued the following update:

UNISONIC, the new band featuring former HELLOWEEN vocalist Michael Kiske alongside Dennis Ward (bass) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums) of Germany's PINK CREAM 69 and Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer (who has previously played with ASIA, GOTTHARD and KROKUS), has finished composing nine songs for its forthcoming debut album. A demo recording is currently being put together and will be used to procure label interest. Italy's Frontiers Records, with whom Kiske and Ward have both worked in the past on various projects, is reportedly very interested in releasing the CD, but the group is said to be keeping its options open.

Swedish metallers CLOUDSCAPE have announced the addition of guitarist Daniel Paulson to the group's ranks. CLOUDSCAPE states, "Daniel impressed the band a lot, both musically and personally during auditions.

"Daniel is officially totally unknown and has only played in local bands and CLOUDSCAPE will be his first step into the world of melodic metal.

"CLOUDSCAPE is finally complete again and despite member changes CLOUDSCAPE's more inspired than ever!! The work of [the next CLOUDSCAPE album] 'New Era' continues..."

Italian thrash-death metallers SAWTHIS (formerly SOTHIS) will release their sophomore album, "Egod" (cover), on May 17 via Scarlet Records. The CD was recorded at Petemkin Studios with producer Paolo Ojetti (INFERNAL POETRY). 13 songs were written for the album and 10 of them were tracked for the final product. Daniele "Axo" Galassi from INFERNAL POETRY played a guest guitar solo on "Barabba", which is said to be "the most atypical song that SAWTHIS has ever written."

Grammy-nominated Richmond, Virginia metallers LAMB OF GOD recently created an exclusive song for the upcoming blockbuster title Iron Man 2: The Videogame. The all-new song, "Hit the Wall", serves as the perfect complement to the nonstop super-powered action of the game, which heads to consoles and handheld systems everywhere in April. The game is based on the cinematic universe featured in Marvel Studios' "Iron Man 2", in theaters end of April.

Commented frontman Randy Blythe: "Working on a piece of music specifically for the Iron Man 2 video game was a new challenge for us.

"A few of us are real game and comic fans, so the partnership with Sega [Iron Man publisher] has been really exciting.

"We can't wait to play the game and hear our music as Iron Man kicks ass."

"The music of LAMB OF GOD definitely evokes the intensity of Iron Man action, and we are very excited to have them working with us for the game," said Sean Ratcliffe, Vice President of Marketing, Sega of America.

LAMB OF GOD was nominated in two categories — "Best Live Band" and "Best Drummer" — at the second annual Revolver Golden Gods Awards, which was held on Thursday, April 8 at Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles. The show will be televised on VH1 Classic on Saturday, May 22.

LAMB OF GOD received a second Grammy Award nomination in the "Best Metal Performance" category — for the track "Set to Fail" from its latest album, "Wrath", which came out last year on Epic Records.

The band was previously nominated in the "Best Metal Performance" category for the song "Redneck" from LAMB OF GOD's 2006 album "Sacrament".

"Wrath" landed at position No. 2 on The Billboard 200 chart back in February 2009 with first-week sales of over 67,000 copies.

Audio samples of all 15 songs (including the Japanese and European bonus tracks) that are set to appear on "Facemelter", first studio album in 13 years from Californian rockers Y&T, are available on the Meniketti.com web site.

Swedish metallers REVENGIA entered the studio in February to begin recording their as-yet-untitled third album. The band states, "Been a time that passed since we recorded the drums. We have still not continiued recording, but we have some small thing to take care of before continiuing.

"We did not find a proper place to record the rest of the album, so we have found a small space in a basement that we will build into a temporary studio this weekend. After that is finished, we can go on and do the rest of the recordings.

"We are excited to produce the best REVENGIA record so far!!!"
