OZZY OSBOURNE To Be Joined By MARILYN MANSON For Rescheduled 2020 North American Dates
When Ozzy Osbourne relaunches his "No More Tours 2" in 2020, he'll be joined by special guest MARILYN MANSON for the North American shows.
These dates are Ozzy's first shows since he announced earlier this year that all his 2019 performances would be postponed allowing him to heal from an injury sustained while dealing with pneumonia. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductee and Grammy-winning singer and songwriter and 2019 Grammy Special Merit Award recipient fell at his Los Angeles home and trapped his spine aggravating years-old injuries (from his 2003 ATV accident) that required surgery.
The "No More Tours 2" kicks off May 27 in Atlanta and concludes July 31 in Las Vegas. Next up, Osbourne will head overseas in October for the rescheduled European dates; JUDAS PRIEST will remain as support on the tour as part of their "JP/50 Heavy Metal Years" anniversary tour.
"Marilyn is killer live," Ozzy says. "He's so fucking out there, and if I think that, then look out, we're all fucked.
"I've toured with Ozzy many times and it's always been fucking spectacular," says Marilyn Manson. "I'm honored to do it again. This is one not to miss."
Last Friday, Ozzy released his first new song in nine years, titled "Under The Graveyard". The track is the first single from his upcoming album, "Ordinary Man", which is due out in early 2020.
The BLACK SABBATH singer collaborated on the album with producer Andrew Watt, who recently oversaw the sessions for a new Post Malone song called "Take What You Want", on which Ozzy contributed guest vocals. That led to Ozzy and Watt working together on Ozzy's 12th solo LP and first since 2010's "Scream".
In addition to Watt on guitars, the LP features Duff McKagan from GUNS N' ROSES on bass and Chad Smith from RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS on drums.

Exclusive: TYGERS OF PAN TANG Premiere “Destiny” Video
Tygers Of Pan Tang will release their new album, Ritual, on November 22 via Mighty Music and BraveWords is premiering new single and video for "Destiny"! Check it out below:
Craig Ellis / drums:
"The song is about the unforeseen natural disasters that can happen almost without warning, leaving a huge impact on life. It's also about the risks we take, be it gambling, in the hope that we become wealthy and the incredible yet crazy, adventurous things people do, not always knowing what's at the end of the adventure. Many of these things are reflected in the accompanying video. When either Jack or I hit a stumbling block we share what we have - having completed the verses and bridges I passed it to Jack who completed it with the chorus. "
Jack Meille / vocals:
"I remember when I got the demo version of this song: a live take with Craig singing the verses. I read the lyrics and the line ‘this is my destiny, written in stone for me’ instinctively came to my mind. I still don't know why and I probably don't want to know it; I rather be surprised every time this magic happens!"
Ritual is their second album with Mighty Music and also the second recording by the current line-up. The album was recorded at ex-Tygers’ guitarist Fred Purser’s studio in Newcastle Upon Tyne and mixing and additional production was again conducted by Soren Andersen, most recently known for his role as Glenn Hughes’ guitarist. Mastering done by Harry Hess (Harem Scarem).
Fans can preorder the Ritual album on vinyl, limited edition red vinyl (500 copies worldwide), CD and t-shirt bundles here.

LEECHED Announce New Album For January 2020; Release "Earth And Ash" Music Video
Manchester's Leeched have announced details of their second full length release, To Dull The Blades Of Your Abuse, alongside the first track to be taken from the album. A video for "Earth And Ash" is available below, and the song will hit digital streaming services as of tomorrow.
To Dull The Blades Of Your Abuse will be released via Prosthetic Records on January 31, 2020. The band has also announced live shows around the album release with Tuskar and Geist - full dates are below.
Leeched comment: "This video was created to show what will one day become a reality. All the games we play will cease to matter. And all the money we own will cease to hold value. This world doesn't care about you or your benevolent good nature. It doesn't care about your past achievements. In the grim darkness of the future there is only despair and depravity."
On their sophomore album, Leeched prepare to broach uncomfortable topics in a way that is as unflinching as it is emotive. Since the release of You Took The Sun When You Left, Leeched have honed their craft and embraced a far denser production ethos. By pushing the boundaries of their own comfort zones during the writing and recording, they have created an album that fizzes with discordance and teeters precariously on the precipice of the abyss.
The industrial overtones - inspired in part by the bleakness of their hometown, Manchester - of their debut remain; cold, desolate, inhospitable. The trio have created a seemingly impenetrable exterior of expansive bleakness. Yet underneath the surface there is a white-hot mass of barely controlled aggression, writhing under the scrutiny of their collective creativity.
To Dull The Blades Of Your Abuse artwork and tracklisting:
"The Hound's Jaw"
"The Grey Tide"
"I, Flatline"
"Now It Ends"
"Earth And Ash"
"Famine At The Gates"
"Praise Your Blades"
"Burn With Me"
"Let Me Die"
Leeched will play the following shows:
January
29 - The Black Heart - London, UK
30 - Alberts - Nottingham, UK
31 - Crofter’s Rights - Bristol, UK
February
1 - Deaf Institute - Manchester, UK
2 - Bannermans - Edinburg, UK

HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY Offshoot KARG Debuts New Album's First Single, "Irgendjemand Wartet Immer"; Audio
Austrian atmospheric black metal force and revered Harakiri For The Sky alter-project, Karg, has released the first new song, “Irgendjemand wartet immer” from their anticipated seveth studio album, Trakat, due out on February 7 via AOP Records. Listen below.
Speaking about the upcoming record, Karg and Harakiri For The Sky mastermind J.J. says, “When I began writing Traktat, I was about to explode. Things started falling apart at the very beginning of the year, what left me distracted and anxious till the end of summer. And when doctors tell you that a depressive episode like this will last around or more than six months, without a treatment, then I’ve to agree with them, they are totally right. This, and the circumstance, that I travelled quite a lot this year, trying to run away from a distemper I couldn’t control anymore, is what makes Traktat a very personal album, musically as lyrically. That’s also the reason I wrote much of it on the road. I wouldn’t say that the previous Karg releases were less personal, but this one holds a special place in my heart. Also, it’s the last part of some kind of trilogy, which started with Weltenasche nearly for years ago and continued with Dornenvögel in summer of 2018. To me, Traktat is some sort of manic depression, which has its ups and downs, loud and quiet at the same time and with a tailspin like every second minute. Quite a lot to bear, and full of emotions I desperately had to get rid of, as I was exploding anyway. “
Traktat will be available on the following formats:
- Ltd. 500 Wooden Box with double CD with 8 bonus songs
- Double LP in 4 different colors
- Standard Digipack
- digital
Pre-order in Europe, and the US.
Traktat tracklisting:
"Irgendjemand wartet immer"
"Jahr ohne Sommer"
"Stolperkenotaphe"
"Alaska"
"Abgrunddialektik"
"Alles was wir geben mussten"
"Grabcholerik"
"Tod, wo bleibt dein Frieden?"
"Nichts als Schatten" (Bonus Track / Bonnie Prince Billy cover)
"Irgendjemand wartet immer":
Karg was founded back in the summer of 2006 as a one-man project by J.J. of Harakiri For The Sky.
Between 2010 & 2014 Karg was fully formed as a band to play gigs, formally in Germany, Austria and Central Europe. Since that time, like in its beginning, Karg was a one-man project and with it’s critically acclaimed, sixth studio album Dornenvögel the project was rebirthed as a full band for live performances.
The musical style of Karg is a furious, hysteric mixture of atmospheric black metal and a huge load of post-rock, with additional influences of grunge, shoegaze and post-punk. Those inspirations outside of black metal evolved more and more over the last few years but were present in abridged form since day one. Lyrically, Karg has always delved into more of the melancholic side of life, such as broken relationships, lost love, estrangement, drug abuse, loss or suicide thoughts and depression. In contrast to many other bands Karg’s lyrics are as equally important as its music is.

OFDRYKKJA - Swedish Melancholic Black Metal Trio Debut New Song "Swallowed By The Night"; Lyric Video
Swedish experimental black-metal band, Ofdrykkja, has returned from the bleak abyss to release their third full-length album, Gryningsvisor, on November 29 via AOP Records. The band has debuted the record’s latest offering, “Swallowed By The Night”. A lyric video can be seen below.
Commenting on the song, Pessimisten (vocals, horns) says, “The lyrics of 'Swallowed By The Night' is written in short sequences, like nightmares a sub conscience would create, based on the current state of mind. Stories made out of unprocessed emotions. It is truly a dark song, as dark as the night - but even the longest of nights will have its dawn, and while this song tells the stories of a long struggle, it is in fact about those first, warm sun rays piercing through the trees, after a very long and cold night.”
Formed eight years ago out of necessity to cope with agonizing depression, debilitating addiction and endless pain, Ofdrykkja has seen the light amongst the darkness for their latest record, which translates to “Ballads At Dawn.” After years of self-inflicted turmoil and suffering, the trio has found solace in healing and self-reflection which is heard on their latest evolution, Gryningsvisor.
Pre-order the new album in Europe, or North America.
Gryningsvisor tracklisting:
"Skymningsvisa"
"The Swan"
"Swallowed By The Night"
"Ensam"
"Wither"
"In i natten"
"As The Northern Wind Cries"
"Herr mannelig"
"Våra Minnenas klagosång"
"Köldvisa"
"Grey"
"Gryningsvisa"
"The Swan":
Eight years ago, three darkness consumed men seeked to ventilate their seemingly endless struggle through addiction and mental illness conjured their first album "A life worth losing". Drabbad was gunned down by police and spent a three year prison sentence, with most of the songs on their second album written from within the prison walls. Having hit rock bottom, the band sought a way out of that dark wilderness, releasing "Irrfärd" (which translates to 'Aimless journey'). Following the release the band went their separate ways to pursue personal journeys that eventually led them to find peace in sobriety and awakening purpose, and ultimately to their forthcoming record, Gryningsvisor.
Drabbad adds, “Ofdrykkja has always been an instrument of therapy for us, and therapy exists to help one evolve. It would serve us no purpose to walk in old footsteps, and neither would it be authentic to force it. We hope you appreciate our evolution, both personal and musical.”
Lineup:
Drabbad - Vocals, Guitars, Acoustic guitars, Electronics, Bass, Drums
Ahlström - Backing vocals, Guitars, Bass, Acoustic guitars, Electronics, Celtic lyre, Violin
Pessimisten - Vocals, Horn on Herr Mannelig
Guest musicians:
Miranda Samuelsson - Vocals
Nylonwings - Acoustic guitars and digital cello arrangements
Credits:
This album was recorded in Studio Cave by Pontus Ekwall and in home studio between January 2018 and August 2019. Mixed & Mastered by Ahlström. All artworks included were painted by Alessia Brusco and digitally edited by Drabbad.

RAGNAROK Streaming Non Debellicata Album Ahead Of Official Release
Norwegian black metal band, Ragnarok, are streaming their ninth studio album, Non Debellicata, out tomorrow, Friday, November 15, via Agonia Records. Listen below, and pre-order the album here.
The band gives us an insight into what went into the making of Non Debellicata, an album in which Ragnarok's entire lineup of founder and frontman Jontho, guitarist Bolverk, bassist Rammr and drummer Malignant, had a significant input: "Our new album, Non Debellicata, is the result of an extensive process in which all the members of the band participated creatively, both musically and lyrically. We put a lot of work into this album to make it as extreme and violent as we possibly could, pushing the borders of our musicianship and song writing skills. Originally we started out with 20 songs, out of which we rehearsed 16 and whittled it down to 13 for recording. We eventually chose 10 for inclusion on the album, because we wanted to ensure highest possible quality of every song."
As for the title itself: “Non Debellicata, refers to a phrase used as the motto for our home town Saropsborg in the olden days. It is taken from letter Jarl Alv Erlingsson sent to the Scottish Government in 1286. Aside from being a nobleman and the Jarl (Earl) of Sarpsborg, Alv was also an infamous pirate who was in the habit of robbing Danish and German merchant ships.
"The Scottish government had confiscated a number of Norwegian ships and Jarl Alv wrote them a letter, in which he said that maybe they were under the impression that Norway was weak after being at war for several years. But assured them that they would learn that the Norwegian people were not weakened by the war and would never be defeated.
"Non Debellicata. The people of Norway would never give up - and neither will Ragnarok!"
Non Debellicata was recorded in Sweden's Endarker Studio, with Marduk's Devo at the helm, and with artwork by Nestor Avalos and photos by Arash Taheri.

Originally formed by Del Vecchio in 2002, Edge Of Forever released three very well received albums: Feeding The Fire, produced by Marcel Jacob (Yngwie Malmsteen, Talisman) and Let The Demon Rock 'n' Roll, produced by Bobby Barth (Axe, Blackfoot) - both featuring Bob Harris (Axe, Frank Zappa) on vocals - as well as Another Paradise, which saw Alessandro Del Vecchio take over the lead vocal position and production duties.
Years of artistic collaboration between Alessandro Del Vecchio and Frontiers have led to some simply amazing records and Native Soul is no exception! Anthemic songs, epic choruses, bombastic production, and a deep, strong vocal performance are the foundation of the album.
"I've been eager to reach the sound we have now as a band for years," says Alessandro. "I chased very hard what I envisioned when I wrote these songs, but the final result exceeded my expectations! The band is tighter, tougher, and classier than ever. Honestly, I couldn't be happier and more pumped about it. Edge Of Forever always had those classic rock and neoclassical elements that could remind one of Talisman, Yngwie Malmsteen, and House Of Lords, but this time we wanted to take the strong melodic, hard bluesy edge that bands like Tangier have and blend it all together."
Since Alessandro Del Vecchio teamed up with Frontiers he has since became a reference name in the hard rock world, being the producer, songwriter and musician behind successful albums with the likes of Hardline, Jorn, Revolution Saints, The End Machine, Find Me, First Signal, Harem Scarem, House Of Lords, and many others. Beside being one of the most talented musicians in the scene, Alessandro is also known for his high tenor soulful voice. Aldo Lonobile was the first choice when the band was ready to enter the studio. Loaded with a great attitude and undeniable talents, Aldo's guitar playing fits like a glove for Edge Of Forever. His aggressive rhythm guitars and powerful but soaring guitar solos give new life to the sound of the band. Still forged as a metal/hard rock guitarist, Aldo's guitar work on the album allows the listener to have a new perspective of him as a player, with bluesy solos and melodic phrasings. Nik Mazzucconi is the only member left - with Alessandro - from the last album Another Paradise and his playing pairs perfectly with powerful drummer Marco Di Salvia, already a bandmate of Alessandro in Hardline.
"Aldo and I have been talking for years about doing something together and now that he is also part of the extended Frontiers family, my choice couldn't have been easier. He was #1 on my list 'cause I knew he had the chops and understood the sound I wanted for the record and for the band. He is known to be more of a metal guitarist, but he blew me away in the studio with great melodic solos and you'll hear that bluesy side you wouldn't expect from him. Nik and Marco already played together several times and I always witnessed a great chemistry and they locked perfectly on these songs, giving them a completely live and in-your-face attitude. There are still tons of keyboards and soaring melodies, but this is certainly a riff-based record. We also wanted this album to be different from your ordinary rock record and and give it a different vibe from the start. That's why the first song on the album is the a capella 'Three Rivers', like a warm welcome to "our" own sound and world."
"Native Soul is my very first hard rock release," says guitarist Aldo Lonobile. "I grew up listening to this genre and its legendary guitarists so when my buddy Alessandro invited me to join the band and played me the first few demos I was sure that we were on the way to deliver a gem of an album. I had to change drastically my playing for this record, but at the same time I am sure everyone will enjoy the final result."
Native Soul is a deep and spiritual record. The Native concepts of Life, Faith and Love for Mother Earth come alive in songs like the title-track "Native Soul", "Promised Land", "Carry On", "Wash Your Sins Away" and the a capella intro of the album "Three Rivers", turning them all into anthems about life strength and motivation.
"Native Soul is a very positive record and I want people to listen to these songs with a smile on their faces and enjoy a band pouring blood, sweat, and love into every single note. It's my vision of the world, of life, and faith and gives a strong message of never letting anything stop you," concludes Alessandro.

ONCE HUMAN Releases New Single And Video, 'Sledgehammer'
ONCE HUMAN has released a new song called "Sledgehammer" as well as an accompanying video. The track will appear on the band's third album, which is scheduled for a 2020 release.
Guitarist Logan Mader, who has spent the last couple of months touring with MACHINE HEAD, explains: "'Sledgehammer' smashes from start to finish. With insane riffs, relentless drumming and Lauren Hart just kills it! Vocally showcasing totally new and powerful cleans in the massive chorus hook, it marks a new chapter in ONCE HUMAN sound. I had tons of fun producing and mixing this track. Utilizing more analog gear than I normally do it's really explosive. Our last album sounds good but this one actually smokes it."
Having made waves with its 2015 debut, "The Life I Remember", ONCE HUMAN has dramatically progressed beyond the melodic death metal sound of that release into something more complex, emotional, distinct, and devastatingly heavy. "Evolution" was not just the title of ONCE HUMAN's sophomore release two years ago, it was an armor-plated declaration. And it evolved into something big. The video for the disc's lead-off single, "Eye Of Chaos", by now gathered more than 8.7 million views on YouTube alone. The new single "Sledgehammer" is testament to the fact that this evolution never stopped and ONCE HUMAN keeps surprising us with new elements.
Mader's name will be familiar to metalheads not only as the original guitarist in MACHINE HEAD and his late '90s stint in SOULFLY, but also for his production and mixing work on records from the likes of GOJIRA, FEAR FACTORY and DEVILDRIVER.
ONCE HUMAN's lineup is rounded out by drummer Dillon Trollope, bassist Damien Rainaud, and guitarist Max Karon,

SABATON History Channel Uploads "Sparta" - The Battle Of Thermopylae; Video
The Sabaton History Channel has released Episode 041 - "Sparta" - The Battle Of Thermopylae.
A message states: "The Battle of Thermopylae of 480 BCE may be one of the most famous battles in Ancient History. King Leonidas and his 300 Spartans were certainly not as alone in their last stand against the spartans, but are nevertheless remembered as being an underdog who would rather die than lose their freedom."
Sabaton performs next on November 23 at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland. The band's live itinerary can be found here.
The band recently released a lyric video for "In Flanders Fields", stating: "On 11/11 at 11 am in 1918, the Great War ends," begins a message from Sabaton. "What could be more appropriate than to give you the brand new lyric video for 'In Flanders Fields' today?"

MESHIAAK - Unveiling The Mask Of All Misery; New Album Video Trailer
Meshiaak will release their new studio album, Mask Of All Misery, tomorrow, Friday, November 15, via Mascot Records / Mascot Label Group. Singer Danny Camilleri talks about the album in this new trailer:
It has been three years since the Australian quartet’s debut album Alliance Of Thieves dropped, which married dark undertones, heavy grooves and sophistication whilst retaining old-school metal values. Now, the band are back to continue the story and have a new member and renewed energy.
Formed in Melbourne, by 4ARM’s Danny Camilleri and Teramaze’s Dean Wells with bassist Andrew Cameron, they have recruited drummer David Godfrey who replaces Jon Dette, following his departure due to logistical reasons with him being based in the US and the rest of the band in Australia.
Mask Of All Misery is an album that journey’s through a maze of toxic influences and the masks the exponents wear. “The album deals with a lot of personal reflection and issues as well as attacking or addressing much broader issues concerning perhaps the ignorance of society in regards to what's going on around us all,” explains Camilleri.
The album walks through a number of tough subject matters and it’s something the band refuse to shy away from. The opening song, the instrumental “Miasma” sets the scene and tone for what you are about to expect. Miasma comes from the ancient Greek word for “pollution” and the miasma theory was a theory that held diseases such as cholera, chlamydia or the Black Death were caused by a noxious form of “bad air” or “miasma.” “It’s a theory that has been around for many years,” elaborates Camilleri. “It’s about how the air we breathe is being poisoned intentionally, and we are all subjected to it. There is no greater good in regards to any government or authority. Especially when they are responsible for the deployment of systematically spraying chemicals and spreading airborne diseases in the very air we breathe.”
The title track was the first song written for the album and is based on responding to toxic situations or people, identifying their behaviours and the rationalisation in response to their thought process, projections and intentions. Because “they” wear the mask, it doesn't mean you have to too. “Bury The Bodies” continues to delve into the sense of being trapped with personal demons and solitude in your own thoughts. “It’s the war we feel inside. Some of us chose to engage in that war and better ourselves and find our truth through it and some of us chose to pretend it doesn’t exist,” says the singer.
“City Of Ghosts,” “Face Of Stone” and “In The Final Hour” run full force through heavy metal riffery with anthemic muscle. “Doves” deals with showing great resilience and strength in the face of hopelessness, whilst they tackle dark subject matter on “Adrena.” The song takes its name from the word Adrenochrome, which has been found to occur naturally in human blood. Theories suggest that it is used as a drug for the elites, and that it is harvested through the experience of terrifying individuals, mostly children to the brink of fear and extracting their blood to give the elites an adrenaline high, at the expense of missing or lost children. Adrenochrome, it has been suggested was also used by the CIA during Project MKUltra and during secret Cold War experiments. The album closes with the 7 minute and 21 second epic “Godless,” another personal song dealing with manipulation and severing the ties between an empath and narcissist to take back control back of your life.
The album barely takes a breath through the ten songs and deals with personal struggles and the inner-strength to pull yourself through as well as burrowing into the dark underbelly for an album of uncompromising heaviness. However, the band have an ability to sprinkle light, adding visions of hope lyrically and strong sense of melody throughout the unrelenting power and musicianship of the four members.
The album was recorded and produced by Dean Wells at his Wells Productions studio in Melbourne with the songwriting partnership of Camilleri and Wells. Talking about the recording process Camilleri says, “We generally have an idea of how many songs we want for an album, we aren't the kind of band that writes 20 tracks and picks the best 9 or 10 to go on the album, if something doesn't grab us early we tend to just throw it in the bin and work on something that does! We demo every track to almost album quality before even looking at officially beginning recording, then we'll sit on it a bit and let it digest.”
Expanding on how the writing relationship works he explains, “We don't designate or anything like that, either Dean will come up with something cool or I will, we'll work on it from that point until it evolves into what we envisioned in our head, though a lot of the time the song will take on a completely different face than when we first began work on it, but that's one of the most enjoyable parts about the writing process with Meshiaak. We never stop pushing the boundaries for ourselves and seeing where we can take something. I love the creative part of it all.”
With a record you can put it on and hear it, feel it even. But sometimes you really need to listen, take it in as a whole, process and think about it. Mask Of All Misery is one of those albums. “People will take what they chose to at the end of the day,” ponders Camilleri. “But, I've found by talking with a lot of fans that they do pay attention and really digest the content of our music. It's an amazing feeling when someone connects to it through hearing it and then gets even deeper because they can connect with the content as well.. goes to show you that you are never alone.”

ABIGAIL WILLIAMS Streaming Walk Beyond The Dark Album; North American Tour Begins Tonight
Abigail Williams, the black sheep of the black metal scene, returns with their boldest and most diverse offering to date, Walk Beyond The Dark, available tomorrow via Blood Music, and a tour that kicks off tonight in Richmond, VA. Stream the full album below, and find the band's tour itinerary here.
Equal parts introspection and extremity, Walk Beyond the Dark is a testament to the band's journey across the years - all the miles they've travelled, all the trials endured, all the mud thrown at them, all to keep doing what they love, on their own terms and without compromise.
"Overall, I'm incredibly proud of this album," says leader Ken Scorceron. "Musically, it's like the ending of one journey and the start of the next. I feel like I was able to take the entire history of the band, all the different sounds and styles we've experimented with over the years, combine it all into this grand mixture with new twists and turns, and take it to the next level. Even with it serving as a monument of sorts to everything the band has done before, it's not about the past, though. It's about closing a chapter and looking forward to what comes next, pushing onward and seeing where we go from here. Anyone who follows the band knows I've always done what's been in my heart, I'm always exploring new things and writing with what's in my head at that time rather than feeling beholden to anything that came before, and this serves as a stepping stone to leap into the unknown."
Songs like visceral opener "I Will Depart" and the torrential "Into The Sleep" take aspects and elements from each of the band's previous iterations - the gleaming metallic riff-work of In the Shadow Of A Thousand Suns, the seething rage of In The Absence Of Light, the grim grandeur of Becoming, the moody melodic menace of The Accuser - and weave them together into something that's far more than the mere sum of its parts.
The studio lineup for Walk Beyond The Dark also features Bryan O'Sullivan on bass and Mike Heller drums, along with featured artists by Chris "Kakophonix" Brown (cello), Andrew Markuszewski (guitar), Justin McKinney (guitar) on select tracks. The album was mixed by Lasse Lammert (Warrel Dane, Alestorm, Gloryhammer).
The CD version of Walk Beyond the Dark will come as a six-panel, fold-out digipack, featuring the haunting otherworldly artwork of Mariusz Lewandowski. For the vinyl version, a heavyweight 180+ gram double LP, mastered specifically for vinyl and cut at 45rpm for maximum audio fidelity, will come inside a 350gsm heavyweight board single-pocket jacket, sleeved in poly-lined black inner sleeves. The vinyl edition will be available December 13. Pre-orders for both versions are available via the Blood Music site.

“I Will Depart”
“Sun And Moon”
“Ever So Bold”
“Black Waves”
“Into The Sleep”

ABBATH Cancels Remainder Of South American Tour 'Due To Health Issues'
Norwegian black metal titans ABBATH, the solo project of former IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name Olve Eikemo), have canceled the remaining shows on their South American tour.
The band revealed it was calling off the dates in a statement earlier today. The group wrote: "It is with heavy heart that we have to announce the cancellation of the remainder of the ABBATH South American 'Outstrider' tour. Due to health issues that need to be treated, we are unable to complete the last shows in Argentina and Brazil. We deeply apologize to all of our fans that wanted to come and see us, to the local promoters, and to Matrix Entertainment who has worked tirelessly in order to make this tour happen. We hope we can make it up to all you some day. We are very sorry."
The cancelation comes less than a day after ABBATH played a disastrous two-song concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, resulting in some fans requesting a refund.
According to report on the local metal site El Culto, the doors to Club Palermo opened two hours later than scheduled, forcing support acts DESCARNADO and MEDIUM to play heavily abbreviated sets. When ABBATH finally took the stage, the group consisted only of its visibily inebriated namesake frontman alongside bassist Mia Wallace and drummer Ukri "Uge" Suvilehto. Rumors had spread earlier in the day that Abbath had gotten into an argument with guitarist Ole André Farstad, who reportedly decided to stay at the hotel and skip the gig.
ABBATH reportedly tried to open the concert with "Count The Dead" at least twice, only for the frontman to drop his guitar on the ground after 10 seconds and throw himself into the crowd. They then tried to perform a "very poor version" of the song "Tyrants" by Abbath's former band IMMORTAL, before Abbath left the stage and was taken to the dressing room, from which he did not re-emerge to finish the set.
ABBATH was touring South America in support of its second album, "Outstrider", which was released in July via Season Of Mist.
"Outstrider" marks ABBATH's second release since the frontman's exit from IMMORTAL. The highly publicized legal battle in 2014 over the rights to the IMMORTAL name pitted Abbath against co-founder Demonaz (real name: Harald Nævdal) and drummer Horgh (real name: Reidar Horghagen), with Abbath claiming the pair abandoned IMMORTAL after they moved their gear out of the band's rehearsal space. The Norwegian court systems determined otherwise, and awarded the IMMORTAL name to Demonaz.

Watch GRETA VAN FLEET Perform In Amsterdam
Fan-filmed video footage of GRETA VAN FLEET's November 12 concert at AFAS Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands can be seen below.
A new song from GRETA VAN FLEET, "Always There", was released in September. The track was originally recorded for inclusion on the band's debut album, last year's "Anthem Of The Peaceful Army", but it was ultimately decided it didn't fit the tone of the album. It appeared serendipitous when the makers of "A Million Little Pieces" requested it in the film's soundtrack.
Despite the fact that GRETA VAN FLEET has managed to sell out shows all over the world, the four-piece has been criticized for channeling a sound uncannily similar to LED ZEPPELIN, with some music fans slamming singer Josh Kiszka for allegedly copy-and-pasting Robert Plant's vocal style.
"Anthem Of The Peaceful Army" landed at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart in July 2018 despite earning a lukewarm 53/100 score on review curation site Metacritic.
In December, GRETA VAN FLEET scored four Grammy Award nominations, one for each major rock category — "Best Rock Album", "Best Rock Song", "Best Rock Performance" — and a "Best New Artist" nod. They went on to win for "Best Rock Album" for their sophomore EP, "From The Fires".
GRETA VAN FLEET was founded in 2012 by brothers Josh Kiszka, Sam Kiszka and Jake Kiszka, plus the sole non-brother member Kyle Hauck, who has since left and been replaced on the drums by Danny Wagner. | +1

Video: PUDDLE OF MUDD Performs Acoustic Version Of 'Blurry' At SiriusXM Studios
Video footage of PUDDLE OF MUDD performing an acoustic version of the song "Blurry" live at SiriusXM studios can be seen below.
PUDDLE OF MUDD's new album, "Welcome To Galvania", was released in September via Pavement Entertainment. It marks the band's first full-length collection of new material since "Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love And Hate".
"Welcome To Galvania" consists of ten new tracks and was produced by Cameron Webb (ALKALINE TRIO, DISTURBED, MOTÖRHEAD).
"Sometimes in life you come across people who want to bring you down and rip apart your soul. Well, those days are gone," frontman Wes Scantlin said. "I have surrounded myself with a great team of people. They believe in me and I believe in them. I'd like to thank each and every one of them for their hard work and perseverance. I would also like to thank all of my fans for their patience. This is just the beginning. I have a lot more rock 'n' roll in me to share with the world!"
"Volume 4: Songs In The Key Of Love & Hate" came out in 2009. A covers disc, "re(disc)overed", followed in 2011. A standalone new song, "Piece Of The Action", was released in 2014 via iTunes.
PUDDLE OF MUDD broke into the mainstream with 2001's "Come Clean", which yielded three hits — "Control", "Blurry" and "She Hates Me".
Last year, Scantlin said that he finally got his life together after years of legal troubles, canceled or disrupted shows and arrests for disorderly or drunken behavior.
Scantlin said that he ended up going back to rehab and receiving treatment "because there's really nowhere else to go." He also credited his family and fans for giving him the strength to try to get better. | +2

DIRTY RATS Streaming New Single “The Juice”
Australia's Dirty Rats will release their second full-length album, End In Tears, on Friday, December 13. End In Tears features 13 new hard driving original rock compositions from the songwriting team of Beovich/Rich, ranging from rock anthems to drinking songs and even some old school blues, just to shake things up a little. New single, "The Juice", is streaming below.
The album will be released just one year after their first album, Rock N Roll, which received critical praise from press around the world.
Dirty Rats are a no bullshit Aussie pub rock band, playing beer barns and inner city clubs throughout Melbourne and country Victoria. Over the last 30 years, the band have developed a sound that is typically Australian hard rock, think AC/DC, Rose Tattoo. But listen closely and influences from MC5, Motörhead and even some punk rock can be heard. They have developed a loyal fan-base both here and overseas based on their first album, Rock N Roll, and high energy shows for bugger all money, precious little industry recognition, but purely for the enjoyment of playing loud “balls to the wall” rock.
After numerous lineup changes which saw some excellent players and some complete nut jobs pass through the bands ranks, Dirty Rats are now a lean, mean and explosive 4-piece band pumping out some of the best new guitar driven rock, with a uniquely 80's flavour that you will hear today.
Tracklisting:
"The Juice"
"Axis Of Love"
"Love From A Distance"
"End In Tears"
"Jaded"
"The Ballad Of Hobbit Foot"
"Hurts Like A Mother"
"Boss Of Me"

"Fantasy"
"Bad News Woman"
"Rat Rock"

THE RAVEN AGE Premier "The Face That Launched A Thousand Ships" Music Video
The Raven Age have released a video for "The Face That Launched A Thousand Ships", a track from the band's Conspiracy album. The song showcases the softer side of the English melodic metal band - highlighting the vocal quality of Matt James.
“We shot this video whilst on tour in the United States, in the desert just outside Las Vegas,” shares guitarist George Harris on the new video, which was filmed during the Legacy Of the Beast Tour with Iron Maiden earlier this year. “We thought it would help paint the picture of the story of Helen of Troy which is what the song’s written about.“
The Raven Age, featuring Iron Maiden bassist Steve Harris's son George Harris, released their sophomore album, Conspiracy, in March 2019. Named after a collective of ravens, Conspiracy is a cryptic soundtrack to the immersive fantasy world that the combined minds of bandmates Matt James (vocals), George Harris (guitar), Tony Maue (guitar), Matt Cox (bass) and Jai Patel (drums) have created. A world that delves into history’s myths and legends, with the stories re-told through their music and imagery. Clues left within their artwork and lyrics connect everything together to be part of a bigger story, pointing to what may later come to pass for The Raven Age.
Conspiracy is an inventive, mature and thrilling body of work that’s full of twists and tangents that carry the excitement from start to finish.
Conspiracy tracklisting:
"Bloom Of The Poison Seed"
"Betrayal Of The Mind"
"Fleur De Lis"
"The Day The World Stood Still"
"Stigmata"
"Surrogate"
"Seventh Heaven"
"Forgotten World"

The Raven Age have announced that to finish off what has been an incredible year so far they will be putting on a special one-off headline show in London for their UK fans. On Friday, December 13th they will bring Noctem Mortis - Night Of Death - to The Dome in Tufnell Park, and fans can expect a theatrical, black death-inspired show where they’ll be able to experience The Raven Age at their ambitious best. Expect drama, mystery, suspense and surprises!
George Harris comments: "2019 has been a whirlwind of a year for us. The fan reaction from 'Conspiracy' has been above and beyond what we'd hoped for and it's well and truly given new members MJ and Tony a warm welcome to The Raven Age family. To have that followed by an unforgettable headline tour around UK and Europe, everything feels like it's been turned up a notch.
“We can't wait to show you all what we have in the pipeline for our final show of 2019. What better way to round off a brilliant year for TRA than a headline gig in London....on Friday 13th?"

KIM THAYIL Says 'It's Entirely Possible' That An All-New SOUNDGARDEN Album Featuring CHRIS CORNELL Will Be Released
During a recent appearance on SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation LA Invasion", SOUNDGARDEN guitarist Kim Thayil was asked if it is possible that a new album will see the light of day featuring some of the final recordings Chris Cornell was working on before his death. Thayil responded (see video below): "It is entirely possible, because that's what we were doing… We definitely have another record in us. Stuff that's written, stuff that's demoed and recorded — certainly. All it would need is to take the audio files that are available. I'd tighten up the guitar stuff that's on there, add other stuff. Ben [Shepherd] does the bass. Matt [Cameron] is able to get the drums he wants. We can get the producers we want to make it sound like a SOUNDGARDEN record. And yes, we can totally do that."
Asked if there is an obstacle stopping that from happening, Kim replied: "There shouldn't be — there really isn't — other than the fact that we don't have those files… And I think that will happen. It would be ridiculous if it didn't. But these are difficult things — partnerships and property."
Thayil also talked about the possibility of SOUNDGARDEN reforming at some in the future with a new singer, either for a tour or a new record. He said: "Reasonably, you've got a big part missing. So, I think in terms of the SOUNDGARDEN catalog, that's still gonna be active as best as it can be. In terms of unreleased recordings, live material, I'm still gonna attend to that; that's my gig. I love that. Let's make records.
"I do not see, given the commitments that other bandmembers have, given our sentiments and love for Chris, I do not see us reconfiguring a tour or anything, as other bands have done in the past, without him," he explained.
"This is really complicated, but I've known Chris since I was a kid, basically — we grew up together, our early 20s. You want to honor the work and legacy you did. Is it best to regard it with dignity and let it rest? Do you want to honor it by celebrating the music and work that he's done?
"This has been difficult for a lot of people in the family and the band, and I think our conclusion was that. I understand people are complicated, and experience and life is a bag of tricks, but… I don't know. I think we reached a conclusion that we thought was correct. But then again, 20 [or] 30 years ago, we didn't think the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame was anything, but certainly, looking back, it's an important part of our legacy — the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is — to acknowledge that, and now it's important."
SOUNDGARDEN was working on a new studio album — the follow-up to 2012's "King Animal" — when Cornell committed suicide after a concert in Detroit in May 2017.
In a recent interview with Music Radar, Thayil was asked what would it take for him, Cameron and Shepherd to get access to the tapes of what was supposed to become SOUNDGARDEN's next album. "We don't know," he replied. "We've asked nicely, we've suggested that this will benefit all parties, if the band could just have these files, and we could finish the songs we were working on. But there seems to be some confusion amongst various parties as to what that would entail and how that works, and who that would benefit."
Cornell was pronounced dead on May 18, 2017 after being found unresponsive in his Detroit hotel room. SOUNDGARDEN had played a show earlier that evening. The 52-year-old had sedatives and an anxiety drug in his system, but died as a result of hanging himself.
The three remaining members of SOUNDGARDEN, along with METALLICA, FOO FIGHTERS and members of AUDIOSLAVE, performed together for the first time since Cornell's death at a benefit concert honoring the singer on January 16 at the Forum in Los Angeles.
SOUNDGARDEN is among the nominees for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame's class of 2020. The top vote-getters will be announced in January and inducted May 2, 2020 at a ceremony at Cleveland's Public Hall.
