DETERIOROT Unleashes “In Battle To Survive” Lyric Video; Reveals Cover Art, Tracklisting For New Album, Awakening

This new single follows the album’s first unveiled track, “Winter Moon”, and continues to showcase Deteriorot’s trademark fusion of atmospheric Finnish/UK death metal tones, Swedish brutality, and raw NJ/NY intensity — a sound that has solidified their legacy since their origins in 1988 (then as Mortuary, becoming Deteriorot in 1989).
Having shared the scene with influential acts such as Immolation, Incantation, and Mortician, founding member Paul Zavaleta (vocals, guitars) continues to drive the band’s vision forward, channeling pure darkness, heaviness, and atmosphere into Awakening.
