VERTIGO STEPS: \'The Melancholy Hour\' Artwork Unveiled

The cover artwork for "The Melancholy Hour", the sophomore album from Portuguese metal act VERTIGO STEPS — the ambitious offspring of Bruno A (ARCANE WISDOM, UNDERSTREAM, REDSTAINS) — can be viewed below. The CD cover and other photographic artwork (which will also be revealed soon) were created by the same artist who envisioned the band's notorious debut and is endorsed by the group as "one of the best visual perspectives to simply convey the dense-yet-captivating moods throughout the 12 tracks," according to a press release.

VERTIGO STEPS is currently recording "The Melancholy Hour" at UltraSoundStudios in Portugal with producer/ drummer Daniel Cardoso. All guitars have already been laid down and singer Niko Mankinen flew over from Finland for two weeks to record his vocals.
