ROTTEN - New Album Postponed; Band In Search Of Guitarist
Netherlands-based death metallers ROTTEN has postponed the release of the album Quality Killings. The album was scheduled to release in the summer of 2010, but will now be released in the winter of 2010 as they band have decided to record four new songs, which will be featured on the new album.
"We weren't happy with the result of some older songs, so we've cancelled them," according to bassist Tommy.
Singer Robbert adds: "The new songs represent the new Rotten in a better way and we wanted them on Quality Killings."
Quality Killings will feature 11 or 12 songs. The new song 'Razorblade Mutilation' from Quality Killings gives fans a sneak preview of what to expect of the new album. Check it out on their MySpace page.
In other news, Rotten is in search for a new lead guitar player. A band update reads:
"Do you have the skills and do you handle the six-strings like a pro? Come and visit us at one of our auditions!! With the upcoming gigs and the release of our full length album Quality Killings, Rotten needs a guitarist fast! Do you have the drive, motivation and a sense of humor....drop us an email asap!!
