Former IAN GILLAN BAND/ROXY MUSIC Bassist John Gustafson Passes
According to Darker Than Blue, former Ian Gillan Band bassist John Gustafson died on September 12th aged 72. During his career, the bassist and singer was a member of the bands The Big Three, Roxy Music (including the hit “Love Is The Drug”) and his own group, Quatermass, among others.
Gustafson is featured on the following Ian Gillan Band albums:

- Clear Air Turbulence (1977)
- Scarabus (1977)
- Live at the Budokan (1978)
- The Rockfield Mixes (1997)
- Live at the Rainbow (1978)
