DAYLIGHT DIES: In Writing Mode

North Carolina's DAYLIGHT DIES has issued the following update:

"The first few notes of new material are now being written and arranged. We think the best use of our time between now and our North American tour in late October is to write. It takes us a considerable amount of time to construct material we are personally satisfied with and writing on the road isn't an option for us. We want to begin the process now and pick it up after touring to avoid extreme delays before the next album. The first bit of material is still in its infancy, so a description of what it sounds like wouldn't be accurate in the end."

DAYLIGHT DIES' video for the song "Lies that Bind" has been posted online at YouTube.com. The track comes off the group's latest album, "Dismantling Devotion", now available via Candlelight Records.

DAYLIGHT DIES will kick off their first full tour this fall in support of "Dismantling Devotion", teaming up with Sweden's KATATONIA and Portugal's MOONSPELL.

"Dismantling Devotion" was mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios (OPETH, SOILWOR) and mastered by Thomas Eberger at The Cutting Room (OPETH, THE HIVES).
