The Alien Blakk has just begun tracking for their third release. The upcoming title has been five years in the making and is finally underway with master recording.
Leader Joshua Craig Podolsky returns with a new line-up and will have roots from earlier recordings but a firm hold on a new approach on writing that is said to be "more ominous and demanding with droning layers of baritone guitar on much of the recording.”
Here's a preview of a recent outing as a solo trio (with Johnny Kelly of Type O Negative/Danzig fame) performing an instrumental Black Sabbath cover from a guitar/drum clinic captured by a fan.
