MINDCAGE Signs with KINEMATIC MUSIC

Kinematic Music has announced the signing of progressive metallers MINDCAGE. The Florida-based band’s upcoming concept album, "Our Own Devices", will introduce the world to the character of Arabella Vash, a young woman who uses the power of her sometimes painful dreams to save a dystopian world.

"The members of MINDCAGE are world-class musicians who have created a character with whom many will identify," said Ben Galecki, Kinematic CEO and founder. "We are dedicated to making sure the world knows Arabella Vash’s compelling story."

"We are thrilled and grateful to be working with a team that has embraced our record, 'Our Own Devices', and regards its story of Arabella Vash as an important work," says MINDCAGE founder and leader Dietrick Hardwick. "Kinematic Music fully 'gets it.' They were able to accommodate the epic scale of our vision in teaming with legendary producer Michael Wagener (OZZY OSBOURNE, METALLICA, ACCEPT, MEGADETH, ALICE COOPER, HELLOWEEN) for the final recording touches and mixing. Kinematic Music recognized the importance of working with the best in the industry and precisely what was needed to properly convey Arabella's message to a world that needs to hear it."

Set in an alternate history of a highly plausible future, MINDCAGE's new concept album warns of what may become of our society if we turn our backs on the importance of arts, music, humanities, and spirituality.

Comments Hardwick: "We are very excited to announce that we have chosen Julie Westlake (HYDROGYN) as the voice of Arabella Vash for 'Our Own Devices'. Julie has the power and emotion in her voice needed to convey Arabella's journey and character. She sounds amazing and has a command and range of voice that is just uncanny. It's also been a real dream come true for us to work with one of the greatest record producers of all time, the legendary Michael Wagener. We couldn't be happier!"

Adds executive producer Ben Galecki: "This has just been an extraordinary experience, seeing how everything is coming together. The band works so efficiently with Michael Wagener that they finished recording ahead of schedule. Michael really knows how to decipher what the band is going for and get the absolute best from them. This is going to be epic!"
