Greece's HAND OF FATE Debut Music Video For New Single "Evergrey"

Greek melodic rock/metal band, Hand Of Fate, have released their new single, "Evergrey". A music video for the song can be viewed below.

Hand Of Fate was formed in December 2014. The formation of the group was almost fatal, since to the initial existence of three of the total five members, the other two were added almost automatically.... as if they were driven by the circumstances of the moment. And since it seems that all the threads of developments were moved by the "hand of fate", the band's name also arose from this event.

With main influences of epic, symphonic, rock and metal sounds, they move musically in a melodic rock/metal style, listening to their need for expression and adapting it to their own needs. Their main goal is expression through their own character, style and creation.

Their first album, Messengers of Hope, was released about a year ago and is available on iTunes, Spotify, Google Play, Amazon and other digital platforms as well as in physical form CD.

In September 2019, they shared the stage with Gus G, at his concert at Mylos, in Thessaloniki. At the present stage, after the somewhat forced hiatus of the last two years, they are working on new ideas and planning live performances as well.

Band lineup:

Alexandra Anagnostopoulou: Vocals
John Hatzidimos: Lead Guitar, programming
Tasos Gerasimou: Rhythm Guitar, backing vocals
Sotos Sofidis: Bass
Teo Koutsos: Drums

GORY BLISTER Sign Worldwide Deal With Eclipse Records; Reborn From Hatred Album Due In September; "Greedy Existence" Single And Video Out Now

Gory Blister are a technical old-school death metal band from Italy, and their new album Reborn From Hatred is the catalyst for our poetic nightmares and horrific victories. The band just signed a worldwide deal with Eclipse Records and they just premiered a new music video and single entitled "Greedy Existence".

The band have also announced the availability of pre-orders for their upcoming full-length album. Reborn From Hatred. which is scheduled to be released on September 8 via Eclipse Records. The album was produced by Raff Sangiorgio and Gianluca D'andria, mixed by Ricardo Borges (Sepultura, Kreator, Carcass), and mastered by Peter Brussee (Steve Vai, Yingwie Malmsteen, Michael Bolton), and the music video was directed by Maurizio Del Piccolo. Watch the clip below.

"Greedy Existence is about a society dominated by greed and brutality, where people have lost their humanity and their choices are influenced by selfishness,” says lead vocalist John St John. “Despite this selfishness, there is still a truth to be discovered, and the negative aspects of the society we live in can be overcome if we are ready to face them and seek the truth. We picked this as the first single because it is very direct, and the best representation of our sound on this album. Lead guitarist Raff Sangiorgio continues, “We wanted to include some symbolism in the video, so the black background is a non place that represents (in metaphor), the greed that overpowers humanity, and the fast images throughout the music video represent the individual's frenzy in chasing their own selfishness, overwhelming anyone who stands in their way.”

The brutally-technical full-length release, Reborn From Hatred, contains eleven masterful songs, with artwork by Augusto Peixoto of Iron Doom Design. The music on the album screams for us to go hard, all the way, face-first into the den of our demons so we can wear their blood on our faces like war paint. The guitars on this record, while scorching, are patterned with such complexity, that there is a raucous intricacy to what is delivered as delicious and violent. The drum licks come in hurricanes of 4/4 and mixed meter time signatures, with the bass replacing our own pounding hearts. This is personal. Gory Blister are not just playing music, but providing our soundtrack as we walk through the fire. There’s a zombie in the funhouse, and we’re going in with baseball bats. There’s a rabid jackal loose in the gift shop, and we’re going in with a net. There’s a circus clown slaughtering people in the freak tent, and we’re going in with machetes, broadswords, and Mineral Mountain Battle Hatchets. The band never tells us to play nice, and like a muse inspires artists to create, Gory Blister shows us the way retool the darkness.

Pre-order / pre-save Reborn From Hatred here.

"3rd Secret" marked Cameron and Thayil's first full-album collaboration following the 2017 death of SOUNDGARDEN singer Chris Cornell.

Thayil recently expressed his hope that he would re-team with his former bandmates on a new project. "I think the three of us have an interest in doing new things," he said of Cameron and SOUNDGARDEN bassist Ben Shepherd. "We certainly like working together."

Watch Pro-Shot Video Of METALLICA Performing 'Fuel' In Gothenburg

Professionally filmed video of METALLICA performing the song "Fuel" on June 16 at the first of two concerts at Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden can be seen below.

According to Nyheter24, the West Coast of Sweden had experienced mostly dry weather in June before it started raining a short time prior to METALLICA taking the stage around 9 p.m. on June 16.

METALLICA's "M72" world tour, which launched in late April in Amsterdam, sees the band playing two nights in every city it visits — with each "No Repeat Weekend" featuring two completely different setlists and support lineups. The "M72" tour features a bold new in-the-round stage design that relocates the famed METALLICA Snake Pit to center stage, as well as the "I Disappear" full-tour pass and the debut of discounted tickets for fans under 16 years of age.

METALLICA launched the first Gothenburg show with "Creeping Death" from the band's second album, "Ride The Lightning", which came out in 1984. The group's 16-song set also included three new songs from METALLICA's latest LP, "72 Seasons": the title track, "If Darkness Had A Son" and "Sleepwalk My Life Away".

The band's setlist was as follows:

01. Creeping Death
02. Harvester Of Sorrow
03. Holier Than Thou
04. Until It Sleeps
05. 72 Seasons
06. If Darkness Had A Son
07. Fade To Black
08. Sleepwalk My Life Away
09. Orion
10. Nothing Else Matters
11. Sad But True
12. The Day That Never Comes
13. Battery
14. Fuel
15. Seek & Destroy
16. Master Of Puppets

Opening acts on the tour include Floor Jansen, EPICA, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH, ICE NINE KILLS, MAMMOTH WVH, PANTERA, ARCHITECTS, GRETA VAN FLEET and VOLBEAT.

METALLICA promises fans who purchase a two-day ticket that they won't see the same song twice for a total of over 30 songs spanning the band's 40-plus-year career.

Each weekend offers a variety of "Enhanced Experiences", ranging from access to a meet-and-greet, production and stage tour, food and beverage in the "Black Box" lounge to early entry into the venue and the Snake Pit. The very popular "Black Laminate" is back, now known as the "I Disappear Ticket", and is the ultimate pass for the fan who wants to run away with METALLICA for multiple weekends.

A single "I Disappear" ticket purchase gives you access to as many of METALLICA's 46 headlining tour dates across Europe and North America in 2023 and 2024 as you choose. You decide how many shows you'd like to attend around the world, and for how long, and METALLICA will make it as easy as possible.

According to Billboard, "72 Seasons" sold 146,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in its first week of release to land at position No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart. It marks the band's 12th Top 10-charting album, of which eight have reached the top two.

"72 Seasons" had the biggest week for any rock or hard rock album since TOOL's "Fear Inoculum" arrived in September 2019 with 270,000 equivalent album units.

"72 Seasons" was released on April 14 via METALLICA's own Blackened Recordings. Produced by Greg Fidelman with guitarist/vocalist James Hetfield and drummer Lars Ulrich, it is METALLICA's first full-length collection of new material since "Hardwired…To Self-Destruct".

In the seven years since the arrival of "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct", METALLICA has reissued some of its classic albums, released a second live album with the San Francisco Symphony, commissioned a covers album featuring the likes of GHOST, VOLBEAT, WEEZER, Corey Taylor and THE HU, and landed on the Billboard songs chart with "Master Of Puppets" after a prominent placement in the hit Netflix show "Stranger Things".

ICON OF SIN To Release Legends Album In August; "Cimmerian" Music Video Streaming

Brazilian rockers, Icon Of Sin, have announced the upcoming release of their sophomore album, Legends, on August 4. The first single and video from the album, “Cimmerian”, are out today. Watch the video below, and pre-order/save Legends here.

“I’m living exciting times,” declares guitarist Marcelo Gelbcke. “Icon Of Sin, along with Landfall and Stormwarning, is one of my homes! I’ve always treated this band like one of my babies, and to consider it my official Heavy Metal band and becoming a real full member is so cool! I really love playing music with these talented guys and believe this current line-up is absolutely killer! I’ve been dreaming about this album for a long time, since we started writing it! Sharing it with the world is so exciting! I consider Legends to be the best music I’ve written with Sergio so far! Get ready, Metalheads!”

“I think this album is a higher level, a perfect evolution from the first,” continues Sergio Mazul, who wrote all of the album’s lyrics and co-produced Legends with along with Gelbcke. “More epic inspirations for lyrics and melodies, powerful chorus and tons of pure Heavy Metal guitar riffs. I’m sure that any kind of Metal fan - from the old school headbanger to the new generation of metalheads - will find this album a must and enjoy each one of the songs. Also, it’s one of my best musical works so far! I always give my soul in Semblant, StormWarning, and Icon Of Sin, and I’m really proud of the results that we reached. With Marcelo now part on the line-up, we have a killer live band ready to strike the stages around the globe.”

“I think we did great work in this album,” concludes singer Raphael Mendes, “we found the essence of Icon Of Sin and we have evolved our music. People will listen to it and will know that is Icon Of Sin. Legends is a strong album and it has great potential. I am really happy with the songs in this album. I can say that there is more variety than our debut album. There are a couple of songs that will make people blown away, they will love it.”

Legends comes hot on the heels of the success of the self-titled debut album, which was released on Frontiers during 2021.

Icon Of Sin is a band centered around the vocal talents of the popular Brazilian YouTube sensation Raphael Mendes together with two other stellar Brazilian musicians, Sergio Mazul (Semblant) and Marcelo Gelbcke (Landfall) who work as songwriters and producers.

Raphael Mendes has become a very popular figure in the YouTube world due to his jaw-dropping vocal covers. His recognition as one of the hottest new talents in metal started in 2016 when he was invited by guitarist Fabio Lima to record a YouTube video that wound up going viral. Encouraged by the reaction, Mendes launched his own YouTube channel to create more videos for fans to enjoy. As more and more fans around the world started to discover him, he was invited to join other musical projects, including Marius Danielsen's Legend Of Valley Doom Part 2, which also featured Michael Kiske, Vinny Appice, Mark Boals, Michele Luppi, and Diego Valdez, among others. One of the things that made Mendes' reputation grow considerably earlier in 2020, when a video series called “What if Bruce Dickinson sang in other bands” was launched. With Mendes Dickinson-esque singing style being used to cover songs by Megadeth and more, these versions impressed fans worldwide and word quickly spread in the metal community.

The band’s debut album showed a true emerging star in the work of traditional heavy metal. Sergio Mazul and Marcelo Gelbcke crafted a no-nonsense, straight-ahead classic pure heavy metal album which blew fans of Iron Maiden and classic Dio-era Sabbath away! Mendes comes out of it not as a mere imitator of someone else’s vocal style, but rather as an artist with something really hot especially for the followers of the new trends in traditional Heavy Metal revival.

Legends follows up to the task of bringing forward and forging a true and solid identity for Icon of Sin. Once again, the songs stretch Raphael’s vocal capacities without any mercy taking his undeniable talents to the next musical level. Gelbcke (appearing this time also as lead guitarist) and Mazul wrote again an exciting set of tunes which--while taking inspiration from masters like Maiden, Priest, Dio, Saxon - offer a head-bangingly addictive, one hundred percent infectious, album.

Icon Of Sin already made their live debut in Brazil and look for opportunities to bring their music outside their own country.

FALLING IN REVERSE Reimagines PAPA ROACH's 'Last Resort'

Fresh off their first-ever (and sold-out) performance at New York City's Madison Square Garden, FALLING IN REVERSE have shared their cover of PAPA ROACH's "Last Resort". Watch the video for "Last Resort (Reimagined)" below.

"I wanted to reimagine one of the biggest rock songs of the last 20 years, because lyrically, it is so powerful and resonates," says FALLING IN REVERSE frontman Ronnie Radke. "I got the blessing from [PAPA ROACH singer] Jacoby [Shaddix] and I think that PAPA ROACH are one of the nicest, humble, and most down-to-earth bands to date and it inspires me to keep going, since they have been so successful for so many years. This is me paying homage in the best way I know how."

FALLING IN REVERSE also embark on its "The Popular Monstour" today, with special guests ICE NINE KILLS. Special guests on select dates include UNDEROATH, SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL, CROWN THE EMPIRE and CATCH YOUR BREATH, making for a thrilling night of hard rock in each city the tour hits.

FALLING IN REVERSE continues to explode by leaps and bounds in this nascent decade. The band's catalog has clocked over 2.7 billion — yes, billion — streams. Another recent single "Watch The World Burn" is at 135 million global streams (including 36 million video views) and landed at No 1 on multiple charts, including Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs, Hard Rock Digital Song Sales, and Alternative Digital Song Sales. Elsewhere, "Voices In My Head" garnered over 140 million million streams and was the No. 1 song of 2022 at SiriusXM's Octane, while "Zombified" has clocked 138 million and topped the active rock charts. Lastly, "Popular Monster" was also, well, a monster, that landed at No. 1 on the active rock charts as well.

FALLING IN REVERSE, led by Radke, have been completely dominating the radio and streaming space in this new decade. The band, which formed back in 2008 and built itself as a mainstay of the Warped Tour scene while gracing many Alternative Press covers, has seen its latest single "Zombified" hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Hard Rock Songs chart. The band has also been generating nearly 50 million total streams per month.

"Popular Monster" has been streamed nearly half a billion times and has emerged as one of the biggest anthems of the past several years. It enjoyed a multi-week stint at No. 1 on the rock radio charts, landing in the top spot on the Mediabase Active Rock chart, Billboard's Hot Hard Rock chart, and the Nielsen Rock chart, and marked the first No.1 single of the band's career. It followed the gold certification of the band's 2011-released debut album "The Drug in Me Is You" and a sold-out anniversary tour. During the shutdown that was a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Radke quickly established himself as one of the most popular musicians streaming on the Twitch platform. In Winter 2022, the band returned to the road and embarked on the sold-out "Live From The Unknown" tour, further cementing its status as one of the top live draws in the genre. FALLING IN REVERSE have continued to catch the eye of the press, with their career arc being spotlighted by top-tier, tastemaking publications such as Forbes, Billboard, The New York Times, Pitchfork and beyond.

TERMINALIST Unveil “The Crisis As Condition” Video

Danish-American hyperthrash metal band Terminalist has announced its second album, The Crisis As Condition, is set for a September 8th release through Indisciplinarian. To accompany the announcement, the album’s first single and title track has been issued alongside a video, which can be seen below.

On The Crisis As Condition, the optimism of earlier times and faith in progress have been replaced by a bleak and pessimistic realism. Transformation turns to turmoil; the state of emergency is the new normal. Where Terminalist’s 2021 debut album, The Great Acceleration, was a commentary on the (future) space race and the inherently destructive side of technology, The Crisis As Condition is a simultaneously detached and impassioned look at the present. Science fiction fantasies have been shelved in favor of a fierce analysis and castigation of contemporary crisis-ridden society. This is expressed through hard-hitting and dynamic music rich in detail that has its basis in thrash metal, but which draws parallels to progressive metal and black metal with its intricate rhythms and ambitious songwriting.

Just as on their debut album, Terminalist has teamed up with producer Lasse Ballade. The Crisis As Condition was recorded and mixed at Ballade Studios in Copenhagen and mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress) at Woodshed Studios in Germany. British painter Ryan T. Hancock is once again responsible for the unique artwork, and photography is handled by Theis Wilmer Poulsen.

Singer, guitarist, and lyricist Emil Hansen states, “Wherever we look, our modern world is entangled in crises. Whether it’s the energy crisis, the inflation crisis, the corona crisis, the war in Ukraine, deepening political polarization, or the overarching climate crisis, things seem to be headed for the worst. The crisis is no longer a phase in passing or a simple challenge to overcome, it’s become a permanent condition. On this song as well as on the upcoming album where this serves as the title track, this theme is explored and expanded further. The future is not what it used to be."

It is this weighty and complex theme that Terminalist takes up on The Crisis As Condition. Rooted in 1980s technical thrash metal, they update the socio-political criticism known from the genre's heyday in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s—a time that was also characterized by political upheaval yet marked by a belief in better times ahead.

The Crisis As Condition will be released September 8th on LP – gatefold with 100 on Orange Vinyl and 300 on Black Vinyl – as well as CD, CS, and digital formats via Indisciplinarian. Physical formats can now be pre-ordered now at the label webshop.

"Life Won’t Last"
"The Crisis As Condition"
"A Future To Weave"
"Last Remains"
"Frenetic Standstill"
"Mutating Fractures"
"Move In Strife"

MOONSHINE BANDITS And BUCKCHERRY Team Up In "Wild" Music Video

Moonshine Bandits mashed up their genre-defying backwoods country soul and hip-hop fusion with Josh Todd and Stevie D. from Buckcherry in their brand new single and music video for "Wild".

"We wanted a rock vibe for 'Wild' and Buckcherry was the perfect match for that song," said Dusty ‘Big Tex’ Dahlgren. "Our fanbase and Buckcherry’s fanbase crossover so I can see a future tour with us together."

"Working with Josh was a great experience. His energy during the video shoot was 'Wild'," added Brett “Bird” Brooks. "It was nice to be able to connect with him on a personal level about similar experiences that we have shared from the stage and being in the business itself. He shared a story about playing for the USO over in Doha, Qatar that was absolutely incredible. He's a very humble guy and all-around cool. Looking forward to having our paths align again in the future."

Moonshine Bandits have paved the way for the budding country/rap genre amassing a dedicated legion of fans who call themselves the “Shiner Nation” with their grassroots touring and rebellious, outlaw values.

Pour Decisions, out July 14th, 2023, features 15-tracks that continue to show Moonshine Bandits paving their own lane. The album takes its inspiration from the struggles and successes of America’s extraordinary era when dreams were being made while hunting for that elusive precious gem. Just like the rumrunners, bootleggers, smugglers, and outlaws of old, the Moonshine Bandits provide a supply of goods for the demand, defying the mandates and trends of mainstream pop-culture. Playing off its title, the duo have also partnered with California Cowboy Whiskey to release Bucked Up Whiskey.

Since their formation in Los Banos, California in 2003, Moonshine Bandits’ blue-collar work ethic and unwavering persistence has seen the band defy the mandates and trends of mainstream pop culture. The duo have crisscrossed the country performing hundreds of shows a year, ventured into branding their own beef jerky and moonshine, collaborated with some of the music business’s most prolific artists, outshined in the face of record industry roadblocks, earned a fiercely loyal fan following, and embrace the unconventional.

FALCK - Former OVERKILL Drummer SID FALCK Releases New Single "Your Gods' Hatred" Feat. NIKOLAY ATANASOV; Video

Sid Falck has released a new song, "Your Gods' Hatred", with very special guest, Nikolay Atanasov (Rezet, ex-Agent Steel, ex-Prophecy) under the Falck name.

Sid Falck: “What can I say about 'Your Gods' Hatred'?... I can say for a fact, that probably 70-80% of people are going to misunderstand what it’s about, simply basing it on the title. Oh my, Sid hates God! Hahaha.. Nah not at all. Normally, I don’t really like explaining my lyrics.. kinda takes away everyone’s option to interpret them, in their own way. I’m all for everyone believing in whatever makes them feel better, gives them peace or whatever.

If you want to believe in any known religion, good for you. If you want to pick up a handful of rocks, and proclaim them The One and Only God… go for it. I’ll stand up for your right to do so, as long as I breathe. As Long as you extend that same freedom to everyone else!

One thing that seems common with all the different religions, are, that they all proclaim that Their God, is a God of Compassion, Mercy and Love, and accepts everyone equally, without fail.

However, the problem I’m having, is looking around, listening to those who organized the religion(s) and those who belongs to any faith group, all of a sudden wanting to speak for ‘their’ God/particular faith. It seems to me that, especially those who yell the loudest, have the biggest platform, sound like ‘their’ God actually doesn’t love everyone equally.. that ‘their’ God loves you… but only if you fit within certain parameters. I’m hearing a lot more hatred than love from them, Hence the title "Your Gods' Hatred". So I guess you could say I have a problem with organized religion, and those whom claim to speak for their God, as it’s really not at all as much about God’s love, but more about control of how they/others think you should be in order to be accepted as a valid human being. Personally, if I have something to say to any particular God, I feel like I’m much more qualified to do it, One on One, as opposed to having someone else interpret my specific thoughts or concerns.

To me, more important than the title, is the underlying feeling of abandonment by what you thought you were brought up to believe, but then as was the case for me, you get older and become maybe more observant of what’s going on around you, and what you see differs dramatically from what you were told.

For this song, I have Nikolay Atanasov of German Reset doing the lead. Nik and I have talked a couple of times over the last year or so, and he expressed a wish to do this, and as is very apparent, he’s obviously a huge talent, right up there with Gustafson, Cannavino, Linsk and Hibbs... Also, he has in no way endorsed the lyrics or message of this song.”

"Your Gods' Hatred" can be downloaded here for “set your own price”, making it a free download, should you so choose. An accompanying video can be found below:

"Your Gods' Hatred" is / will also be available on all streaming and digital platforms.
