IRON SAVIOR will play a special release show for "Rise Of The Hero" on February 27 at Hard Rock Café St. Pauli in Hamburg, Germany.
IRON SAVIOR's latest album, "The Landing", was released on November 18, 2011 via AFM Records.
Asked why it took so long to release the follow-up to 2007's "Megatropolis", IRON SAVIOR mainman Piet Sielck told Sarkophag Rocks: "One reason is my former band, SAVAGE CIRCUS, which demanded a lot of my time. Once again, I had to write all of the songs and the whole production basically on my own, which was a very hard job. The second reason is the downfall of my former record label, Dockyard. After rather bad mismanagement, the company went bankrupt in 2009. Being left alone by my former partners, I faced this hell and cleaned up the mess they've left behind for almost two years. I lost a lot of money and for a certain time also my belief in music. Finally I was able to sell the remains and pay off most of the debts. Anyhow, in late 2010, I finally saw some light at the end of the tunnel and my passion for music returned. So I started writing 'The Landing'." 6

IRON REAGAN Featuring MUNICIPAL WASTE, Ex-DARKEST HOUR Members: 'Mini Lights' Video Released"Mini Lights", the new video from Virginia hardcore thrashbangers IRON REAGAN, who feature within their crossover ranks Tony Foresta (MUNICIPAL WASTE), LandPhil Hall (MUNICIPAL WASTE, CANNABIS CORPSE), Ryan Parrish (ex-DARKEST HOUR), Mark Bronzino (MAMMOTH GRINDER, ANS) and Rob Skotis (HELLBEAR), can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's forthcoming vinyl-only split 12-inch with California's favorite gore-sworn death metal deviants EXHUMED. A profane union of spirits, the split offers up eight unrepentant tracks that spout more unexpurgated fury than a pack of wild badgers. Writes Invisible Oranges: "IRON REAGAN rocked some worlds earlier this year with their pissed off whirlwind of a debut full-length, 'Worse Than Dead'. That album, with songs that average around a minute-thirty and nail the punk and hardcore divide with a thrashy attitude, thematically resurrects the spirits of Cold War-era fears to take on today's politically charged topics like gun control and reproductive rights... Foresta's voice is certainly a defining characteristic in IRON REAGAN, but this isn't MUNICIPAL WASTE 2.0." The EXHUMED/IRON REAGAN split 12-inch will be released on January 7, 2014 via Tankcrimes.

BLAZE BAYLEY's 'Rock & Roll Christmas' (Video)A video clip of British heavy metal vocalist Blaze Bayley (IRON MAIDEN, WOLFSBANE) and Michelle Sciarrotta, a U.K.-based classical guitarist, performing a Christmas song, "Rock & Roll Christmas", can be seen below.
Bayley released a career-spanning double-disc collection, "Soundtracks Of My Life", on October 31.
Metal Mind Productions recently released the two-CD version of Blaze Bayley's "Alive In Poland" (previously available only as part of the limited-edition "Alive In Poland" DVD) in Europe and North America.
"Alive In Poland" was recorded in Poland in April 2007 during the 21st edition of Metalmania festival in Katowice, Poland. It features a fantastic, over-one-and-a-half-hour show during which Blaze presented the best tracks from his discography, as well as select tracks from IRON MAIDEN ("Man On The Edge", "Futureal").
Bayley's latest studio album, "The King Of Metal", was released in March 2012. The CD was recorded at Fear Studio in Ravenna, Italy.
The 50-year-old Bayley, who was born in Birmingham, was the original frontman in WOLFSBANE, but left in 1994 to replace Bruce Dickinson as the lead singer of IRON MAIDEN. 1

ACE FREHLEY On Chances Of Reunion With KISS After ROCK HALL: 'Anything Is Possible'Original KISS guitarist Ace Frehley was interviewed on this past Friday night's (December 20) edition of Eddie Trunk's "Eddie Trunk Rocks" radio show on New York's Q104.3 FM. A few excerpts from the chat follow below (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET).
On possibly performing with his fellow original KISS members when they are inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next April:
"I always try to take the high road and be optimistic and hope that everybody's gonna come to the bargaining table and do the right thing. Sometimes I get the support. But I have a feeling everything's gonna work out. I mean, I spoke with Paul [Stanley, KISS guitarist/vocalist] and Gene [Simmons, KISS bassist/vocalist]. I know they wanna perform with me and Peter [Criss, original KISS drummer]. I'm just not sure how much they want [current KISS members] Tommy [Thayer, guitar] and Eric [Singer, drums] to be involved. But since [Tommy and Eric] not getting inducted, I'm just gonna let that play out with the Hall and management and attorneys and all that stuff. I'm just excited about getting back with them and doing a great three or four songs. And I think it's gonna be great. I'm hoping that everybody's just gonna do the right thing."
"I know for a fact that the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame wants the four of us to perform in makeup. That's what they want, and we'll see how it plays out. I'm hoping that everybody's just gonna do the right thing and celebrate the four original members who started it all."
On his conversations with Paul and Gene after it was announced that KISS was being inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame:
"They actually called me today. We had a very nice conversation. They congratulated me. They actually have been trying to get hold of me since the announcement, but I've been in the studio working on my new record, so I wasn't available. But they tracked me down today through [KISS manager] Doc McGhee's office. And we had a nice conversation; it was very up and very positive."
On how the current lineup of KISS should be included, if at all, in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony:
"Where KISS is now, that's fine and that's the way it is now, but what we're celebrating is what Paul, Peter, Gene and Ace started back in 1972. '73…
"I don't have a problem with Tommy and Eric being there out of makeup, if I'm in makeup, because they're a big part of KISS today. They had nothing to do with the beginning of KISS or had nothing to do with the designs or the costumes or the makeup, but they're a part of KISS today and it is what it is; I don't control that. But this is about the celebration of KISS and how it all began and started and it should be honoring the four original members.
"If those guys [Tommy and Eric] wanna come up out of makeup and do 'Rock And Roll All Nite' with the whole cast of the show, that would be a great thing. They deserve a little. [But] I can only hope that [Paul and Gene are] gonna do the right thing.
"You can't have me and Tommy both in makeup. You can't have Eric and Peter both in makeup. That's gonna be a farce. So hopefully the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame will talk some sense into those guys [Paul and Gene] as far as that aspect of the show. Believe it or not, I have faith in those guys."
On whether he is open to doing more things with KISS in the future beyond the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction:
"Like I said to Rolling Stone [magazine], never say never. Anything could happen after that night. And I don't wanna speculate at this point, but who knows? We're gonna make rock and roll history one way or the other."
"Look, if something was presented to me in the right way, anything is possible. That's as far as I wanna go on that. I'm working on my new album. It's gonna be released next spring. I've got a single coming out probably right around the time the ceremony is gonna be happening. And [my new record label] eOne is really excited about the new record. So who knows what's gonna happen? But I'm not gonna scrap my record [to reunite with KISS], I can tell you that right now. [laughs]" 7

BLACK SABBATH Returns To Birmingham For Two Sold-Out Shows; BBC Report Available (Video)Original members of Birmingham, England's heavy metal pioneers BLACK SABBATH returned to the city for two sell-out concerts. With the exception of one "intimate" homecoming show the band played at Birmingham Academy on May 19, 2012, the dates at Birmingham's LG Arena (December 20) and National Indoor Arena (December 22) marked the first time the trio had played together in the city since May 2005. Fans from as far as Australia travelled to the concerts, with many queuing outside the venues for 12 hours before the shows began. Bassist Geezer Butler and lead guitarist Tony Iommi, who formed the band with singer Ozzy Osbourne in 1968, said Birmingham gigs are always the "most nerve-wracking" to play. Check out a BBC report below.
Fan-filmed video footage of BLACK SABBATH's December 22 concert at National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, England can be seen below.
The band's setlist was as follows:
01. War Pigs 02. Into The Void 03. Under The Sun / Every Day Comes And Goes 04. Snowblind 05. Age Of Reason 06. Black Sabbath 07. Behind The Wall Of Sleep 08. N.I.B. 09. End Of The Beginning 10. Fairies Wear Boots 11. Rat Salad 12. Tommy Clufetos Drum Solo13. Iron Man 14. God Is Dead? 15. Dirty Women 16. Children Of The Grave
Encore:
17. Paranoid
According to The Pulse Of Radio, BLACK SABBATH guitarist Tony Iommi is not sure if making a follow-up to this year's reunion album, "13", would be a good idea for the group. Iommi said in Revolver magazine, "I don't know if that would be an anticlimax if we wrote another album. I'd like to, but we haven't actually spoken about it, you know? I don't know if that would be a good idea after this one, because this one's done so well. I'm sure we'd all like to do one. But I don't know. Maybe I should talk to the others about it." Bassist Geezer Butler added, "I really haven't thought about it. I'm just glad that we made this one. It can't be something where you go in and go, 'Well, that one was No. 1, so let's do another No. 1 album.' I think we'll know if we can do it or if we can't. If we have to force it, then we won't be doing it."
"13", the first SABBATH album in 35 years to feature Iommi, Butler and singer Ozzy Osbourne recording together, went No. 1 around the world, earning the band their first chart-topper ever in the U.S.
Ozzy said about the prospects of making another record, "I don't want to say there's going to be another album, because I don't want you to ask me in another year, 'What happened when you said you were going to do another record?' I'll leave it open. I'm open for anything. I have three albums to deliver of my own solo thing to my record label."
Ozzy added, "We'll all still be doing music. It's been a lot of fun doing it with BLACK SABBATH, and I'm not sorry at all for getting back together."
The making of "13" was marked by several dramatic events, including drummer Bill Ward's withdrawal from the project over a contractual dispute and Iommi's cancer diagnosis.
Butler told Revolver that he started writing a song for "13", called "Hanging By A Thread", that was inspired by Iommi's illness. He explained, "It was very much about dying, about giving your last breath and passing your spirit on." But the track didn't make it onto the album because, Butler said, "We never came up with the finished thing."
BLACK SABBATH will return to North America in 2014 for 10 shows that will be among the last in support of "13".

GLENN HUGHES' New Album To Feature Guest Appearance By JULIAN LENNONLegendary bassist/vocalist Glenn Hughes (BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION, ex-DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH) has wrapped up his time in a Nashville, Tennessee recording studio laying down new music with a band he has put together over the past few months. The disc, which is expected in May 2014, will include a special guest appearance by Julian Lennon, John Lennon's (THE BEATLES) son with his first wife Cynthia, on a duet with Glenn.
Says Hughes: "Jules is the one who helped me put our new band together.
"We all love you, Jules. "Yes. Jules and I are singing together on the new Nashville album. He is in Monaco. We sent him the files last night — which he recorded in record time. We received them back four hours ago!
"Trust me. Jules is the real dang deal."
Adds Lennon: "The one and only Glenn Hughes et moi, singing together for the first time ever last night. Even if we are 4746 miles apart, technology today. Who would have thought."
Julian Lennon previously stated about Glenn Hughes: "I can say, without a doubt, he is one of the best singers/songwriters/performers I have ever seen. His range is mind-blowing! And his talent knows no bounds."

GAMMA RAY Drummer's MURDER ONE: Previously Unreleased 2000 Album Sees Light Of DayMURDER ONE was a band founded by Michael Ehré and Frank Schütte in 1997. After the release of their first album, "Murder One", in 1998, the band returned to the studio in 2000 to work on an even more impressive piece of music.
On this album, Sven Lüdke and Dennis Krüger appeared for the first time as additional songwriters and guitar players. The band developed its own sound and style, and recorded ten songs showing MURDER ONE at its very best.
With the hard pounding opener "In Your Mind", followed by the uptempo song "Angel Of Blood", to the doomsday scenario "#3", the album constantly surprises the listeners, musically and lyrically, and takes them on a journey into the dark depths of the human psychology.
"With his lyrics, Frank sometimes exceeds the bounds of good taste," says the band. The most extreme example is the song "Feel" — which represents he view of things from the sick mind of a rapist and serial killer.
Ehré is the current drummer in GAMMA RAY who has previously played with ex-SCORPIONS guitar legend Uli Jon Roth. He has also been involved with METALIUM and FIREWIND.
Ludke currently plays the guitar for the internationally successful band MOB RULES.
MURDER ONE split up in 2001 but decided to make its previously unreleased sophomore album, "Touched", available after more than 12 years.
"Due to the events in Hamburg, where a building complex of rehearsal rooms and a recording studio burned down, we decided to release this album and donate a part of the proceeds to the affected bands," MURDER ONE says in a statement.

DEF LEPPARD Won't Sue ONE DIRECTION For PlagiarismAccording to The Pulse Of Radio, contrary to Internet rumors, DEF LEPPARD will not be suing pop group ONE DIRECTION. Some fans are up in arms over the similarities between the ONE DIRECTION chart-topper "Midnight Memories" and DEF LEPPARD's 1987 track "Pour Some Sugar On Me", which peaked at No. 2 in 1988. LEPPARD's two guitarists, "Sugar" co-writer Phil Collen and Vivian Campbell spoke to Billboard about the song, with Collen stating the songs are "very similar in structure" but nothing more. Campbell added: "The chords are one-four-five. Those are the blues. You don't get more basic than that. I think what's more reminiscent of the LEPPARD thing is the production, the sound, the vocals, the reverb and the way it's assembled. That is very flattering that all of a sudden these kids think it's a cool sound. I think a lot of people of their generation aren't going to connect their music to ours." Phil Collen said that this situation isn't the same as the similarities between and ROBIN THICKE's "Blurred Lines" and MARVIN GAYE's classic "Got to Give It Up". "That's different," he said. "In fact, it's got the mayonnaise jar and people hooting in the background which Marvin Gaye had. I don't see that you can do that. The ONE DIRECTION one is very similar in structure, but it's all good."
Earlier this year, THE WHO was rumored to be contemplating a lawsuit against ONE DIRECTION for the production similarities between their "Best Song Ever" and "Baba O'Riley" — until Pete Townshend went public to dispel the rumors and state that he was flattered by them being influenced by his record.
DEF LEPPARD guitarist Phil Collen told The Pulse Of Radio he and his bandmates always look forward to playing their hits out on the road. "Every night when someone's singing along — especially when there's a lot of young kids there, 16-year-olds and that — it is fresh, actually makes you feel really good when there's a whole new breed of people just singing away to songs that you've done," he said. "It doesn't really matter whether it's a new song or an old song, it's still our song, so it's a huge compliment. It really is, it's the best thing in the world." 3

WAYNE STATIC's Collaboration With DMC: 'Noise Revolution' Video Released"Noise Revolution", the video for the brand new collaborative track between DMC of the legendary RUN-DMC and STATIC-X mainman Wayne Static, can be seen below. The track is also available for purchase on iTunes.
DMC, one of the pioneers of hip hop music, is also credited as being the first to blend rock with rap, most notably with a RUN-DMC rendition of "Walk This Way" by AEROSMITH, which also featured vocals by Steven Tyler.
Once again, DMC looks to break new ground by synthesizing the industrial sound of Static's undeniable vocal approach with his trail blazing rap style.
The clip was directed by Matt Zane (Wayne Static, Zakk Wylde, ORGY, SOCIETY 1, ANNIHILATED).
"The 'Noise Revolution' song and video is a powerful statement that shows that our art and creativity is the most important representation of the people," said DMC.
"Working with Wayne Static and Matt Zane to knock down walls and bring people together with a positive message is inspiring and empowering!"
Static, who is no stranger to combining different styles and is known for the creation of "evil disco," did not hesistate when he got the chance to work with one of the all-time great hip hop artists.
"The opportunity to work with a legend like DMC was a great honor and an experience like no other," said Wayne. "We performed onstage together in Austin a while back and I hope we have more opportunities to perform together again."
Wayne also went on to explain how he has always been in favor of mixing several styles of music.
"I have always believed combining different genres of music is a great way to create exciting new sounds," he said. "In fact, I've based most of my career on combining unexpected styles in innovative ways. This collaboration with DMC is a prime example of how we can break through traditional expectations of metal and rap to create a badass new sound, and that is really the theme of the song for me as well. This song is a 'Noise Revolution'!"
Zane was equally excited to be presented with an opportunity to direct the "Noise Revolution" video.
"I was all about THE DOORS, VAN HALEN, KING DIAMOND and RUN-DMC when I was growing up," he said. "When DMC flew out to Los Angeles to meet, I couldn't believe I was sitting across the table from him discussing concepts for something I was going to direct. I was trying to keep it together but really my mind was going crazy. I didn't want to let on that I was such a huge fan and had all the records." 4

ADRENALINE MOB: New Song 'Behind These Eyes' Available For StreamingADRENALINE MOB recently inked a North American deal with Century Media Records, the label the group was previously signed to only for the European territory. The band's second full-length album, "Men Of Honor", will be released February 18 in North America and February 24 internationally. ADRENALINE MOB's current lineup includes Russell Allen (vocals; also of SYMPHONY X), Mike Orlando (guitar), John Moyer (bass; also of DISTURBED), and the band's latest addition, drummer A.J. Pero (also of TWISTED SISTER).
"Men Of Honor" features 11 new original songs produced by Allen and Orlando. 01. Mob Is Back02. Come On Get Up03. Dearly Departed04. Behind These Eyes05. Let It Go06. Feel The Adrenaline07. Men Of Honor08. Crystal Clear09. House Of Lies10. Judgment Day11. Fallin' To Pieces
The song "Behind These Eyes" can now be streamed using the SoundCloud widget below.
Drummer Mike Portnoy (FLYING COLORS, THE WINERY DOGS, DREAM THEATER, AVENGED SEVENFOLD) quit ADRENALINE MOB in June due to "scheduling conflicts."
In a recent interview with Brazil's "Wikimetal", Allen stated about Portnoy's departure from ADRENALINE MOB: "He's been, obviously, real busy with THE WINERY DOGS. The truth of it is we wanna keep working, we wanna keep doing ADRENALINE MOB and we don't wanna wait around for Mike to have the time [to put into ADRENALINE MOB]. And he doesn't know when he will have the time again, so that's really what's going down. Mike Portnoy was asked to be in the band by myself. Me and Orlando had already written all the material, so [ADRENALINE MOB's debut album] 'Omertá' was completely finished before Mike joined the act. And it's a bummer, but he's got his sights on other things, and he's not gonna stick around. So we wish him the best of luck, but the MOB's gotta go on."
ADRENALINE MOB released "Covertá", an eight-track EP featuring cover versions of some of the group's favorite songs, on March 12. 2

Andreas and his wife, Patricia Perissinotto Kisser, have three children together: Giulia, Yohan and Enzo.
SEPULTURA's new album, "The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart", sold around 1,800 copies in the United States in its first week of release.
"The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart" was released on October 29 via Nuclear Blast Records.
Although it was inspired by Fritz Lang's classic 1927 movie "Metropolis", "The Mediator Between Head And Hands Must Be The Heart" is not a concept album or a soundtrack like its precedessors "Dante XXI" (based on "The Divine Comedy") and "A-Lex" (based on "A Clockwork Orange").
"The Mediator Between The Head And Hands Must Be The Heart" was tracked over a 40-day period at producer Ross Robinson's (KORN, LIMP BIZKIT, SLIPKNOT) studio in Venice, California and was mixed and mastered by co-producer Steve Evetts, who previously worked with SEPULTURA on the "Nation" (2001), "Revolusongs" (2002) and "Roorback" (2003) albums, in addition to having collaborated with Ross on a number of other projects in the past. 2
