"The Diplomat", the new video from Virginia grindcore titans PIG DESTROYER, can be seen below. The clip was directed by Phil Mucci (HIGH ON FIRE, OPETH, KORN).

"The Diplomat" comes off PIG DESTROYER's fifth-full length and first album in over five years, "Book Burner", which was recorded at guitarist Scott Hull's Visceral Sound Studios. Due on October 22 via Relapse Records, the CD features 19 tracks with a return to the band's raw, misanthropic sound. The effort will be available on multiple formats, including CD, deluxe 2xCD, LP, deluxe 2xLP, cassette, digital and an extremely limited ultimate edition dubbed "The Order Of The Godless Swine."

The deluxe editions will each contain a bonus disc of punk covers and a short story, titled "The Atheist", penned by frontman JR Hayes. "The Atheist" is a post-apocalyptic tale about a decaying world taken over by the violence of religion that showcases the renowned lyricists' unsurpassed style for the first time as prose. The deluxe 2xLP will also contain an etched b-side featuring artwork by WORMROT frontman Arif Rot. The ultimate edition, limited to 100 copies, includes an exclusive t-shirt, autographed deluxe 2xLP on exclusive blood red color vinyl, a PIG DESTROYER flip-top wick style lighter, and an Order Of The Godless Swine membership card, which includes a digital download of the whole collection plus an alternate "dynamic" mastering job of both records done by Scott Hull intended to be played at maximum volume. The membership card will also entitle each card carrying member to a free t-shirt directly from the band at any PIG DESTROYER show.

PIG DESTROYER will make select special appearances at various festivals and shows throughout the year, including the U.K.'s Damnation Festival and Maryland Deathfest 2013.

A 2-CD best-of collection from Canadian extreme metallers CRYPTOPSY, featuring demo and live recordings as well as three exclusive new tracks (written with Youri Raymond and Eric Langlois), will be released on November 12 in Europe and November 20 in North Americ via Century Media. Entitlted "The Best Of Us Bleed", the set will come with extensive new liner notes written by Decibel magazine's Adrien Begrand. LAVETT, the Swedish metal band featuring former members of LOST HORIZON, DEAD BY APRIL, SUNDOWN and BESEECH, will release its debut album, "Find Your Purpose", on December 9 via RoastingHouse Records. The CD, which came out in Japan in March through JVC/Victor Entertainment, was produced by LAVETT and recorded at Studiomega in Varberg, Sweden.

Finnish/Dutch symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH have launched their own wine called Imaginaerum, named after the band's latest album and upcoming movie.

A new promotional clip for the wine, featuring the "NIGHTWISH way explanation for the typical wine term," can be seen below.

Old vines, almost no water and poor soils have resulted in a ridiculously low yields but grapes with super intensive aromas. Before bottling, the wine has spent 14 months in small barrels made of French oak.

The label of the bottle is based on the song "The Crow, The Owl And The Dove" from the "Imaginaerum" album. The mystery of the bird emblem will be revealed to anyone listening to the song with thought and a glass of Imaginaerum.

The official trailer for "Silverthorn", the new album from American/German/Swedish symphonic metallers KAMELOT, can be seen below. The CD will be released on October 30 in North America, October 26 in Germany and October 29 in the rest of Europe via Steamhammer/SPV. The CD will mark the band's first release with new singer Tommy Karevik, the 30-year-old Swede who previously fronted SEVENTH WONDER (a group that he is still a member of).

Tommy first appeared as one of the guest singers on KAMELOT's very successful 2011 Pandemonium World Tour.

KAMELOT's "Sacrimony (Angel Of Afterlife)" video can be seen below. The clip was filmed in Belgrade, Serbia with director Ivan Colic, who has previously worked with MOONSPELL, SOILWORK, HAMMERFALL, TYPE O NEGATIVE and SYMPHONY X, among others. The video features guest appearances by Elize Ryd (AMARANTHE) and Alissa White-Gluz (THE AGONIST). Alissa's cameo was shot by Von Wong Photography at Studio Newreel in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

In a recent interview with the Kamelot France web site, KAMELOT guitarist Thomas Youngblood stated about "Sacrimony", "We have a lot of strong songs on the album, but this one was the first one that we wanted to play [during this summer's European tour]. Ironically, it was one the last song we wrote the music for. I remember sitting with [KAMELOT keyboardist] Oliver [Palotai] in Stuttgart and I had to leave the next day for Florida. I said, 'Let's make one more song, something fast and uptempo.' That was the genesis for 'Sacrimony'. Later, [new KAMELOT singer] Tommy [Karevik] laid down a killer vocal melody and it was pretty much like on the demo. Later, we invited Elize Ryd [KAMELOT touring backing vocalist] to sing on that song."

KAMELOT recently supported Finnish/Dutch symphonic metallers NIGHTWISH on their North American tour.

"Re-Machined - A Tribute To Deep Purple's Machine Head" has sold around 5,000 copies in the United States since its September 25 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the release of this landmark album and in recognition of the influence of the band, and of "Machine Head" in particular. Some of rock music's biggest names have each contributed a version of their favorite track on the album to create "Re-Machined - A Tribute To Deep Purple's Machine Head".

There are two wildly differing versions of the album's most famous track "Smoke On The Water", one from guitar hero Carlos Santana with vocals by Jacoby Shaddix and one from alternative rockers FLAMING LIPS, and METALLICA have contributed their own special take on "When A Blind Man Cries", a track recorded at the "Machine Head" sessions but originally released as the B-side to "Never Before".

IRON MAIDEN's "Space Truckin'" cover was actually recorded back in 2006. Lead singer Bruce Dickinson explains, "Initially we didn't think we'd be able to contribute anything due to our touring commitments. Then we remembered 'Space Truckin'' which we'd recorded as a single B-side during our 'A Matter Of Life And Death' album session, but never used. However now, thanks to Kevin Shirley's remixing skills, we're able to include it on 'Re-Machined'."

Initially released as a limited edition Classic Rock "fanpack" on September 3, this is a truly unique release that will appeal to rock fans everywhere.

"Demons Surfaced", the new video from Hungarian "progressive-grunge metallers" ANGERTEA, can be seen below. The clip was filmed this past summer in an old movie theater in Nagymágocs, Hungary.

The history of DEHUMANIZED dates back to the mid-'90s, an era that saw the rise of several legendary New York death metal acts, not the least of which included SUFFOCATION, INTERNAL BLEEDING and PYREXIA. In 1998, DEHUMANIZED released its debut album, "Prophecies Foretold". The CD was a savage crash course into the classic style of New York slam death metal. As a result of this impressive release, they are now considered by many as one of the bands who helped define and shape the undeniable sound and feel of New York death metal.

Sadly, in 2000 DEHUMANIZED broke up. They reformed in 2004 only to split up once again in 2007. Finally, in 2011 DEHUMANIZED resurfaced with a solid lineup and new music. In addition, they have returned to the live stage and have made appearances at several large festivals.

TESLA frontman Jeff Keith will reveal the details of his new country project and CD release via his new country web site tomorrow (Friday, October 26) at JeffKeithCountry.com. The first 500 copies of the album to be sold will be autographed by Jeff.

Keith's country album, which will be titled "Jeff Keith And Country Music Friends", was recorded with a couple of his very good friends from Nashville, Tennessee, Kent Goodson and Pat "The Other" Boone. Goodson is best known for his work as George Jones' keyboardist for 28 years, from 1982 to 2011. He has also played a big part in the songwriting and production department for the project. Boone has been George Jones' monitor engineer for over 10 years now, and his role in the project is not only in the songwriting department, but also as captain of the pontoon boat on "Old Hickory Lake" where most of the CD's songs were written.

Canadian metal innovators VOIVOD will release their new album, "Target Earth", on January 22, 2013 (one day earlier internationally) via VOIVOD's own company, Iron Gang Factory, and Century Media. The CD was recorded in January at Pierre Rémillard's (OBLIVEON, CRYPTOPSY, KRISIUN, MISERY INDEX) Wild Studio in a small town called St-Zénon in Quebec, Canada. The follow-up to 2009's "Infini" will contain the band's first music to be written with new guitarist Daniel "Chewy" Mongrain (MARTYR) following the passing of original axeman Denis "Piggy" D'Amour in 2005.

According to a posting on the page, fans can "expect something in the vein of 'Nothingface' with some elements from the other albums. It will be a classic VOIVOD album."

Regarding what the new VOIVOD songs sound like, Mongrain said in an interview, "As a VOIVOD fan since I am 12 years old and early rise of VOIVOD in late '80s and everything, I think… I'm in conflict of interest right now. [laughs] I like the old stuff as much as the new stuff, so I think it's a blend of everything. It's really a team work and Blacky [Jean-Yves Thériault] is back on the 'blower bass' — he's got the original sound — and we're having a blast jamming. I think it's working pretty good."

On the topic of the lyrical themes covered in the new VOIVOD tracks, singer Denis "Snake" Bélanger said, "The song we played [on the early 2012 European tour] ['Kaleidos'] is about conspiracy involving drugs and the FBI… [Laughs] It's hard to describe because we're kind of early in the process. There's another song called 'Target Earth', which is more like a spacy, conspiracy, controlling the information around the world. The main thing is the 'war' of information. You know, somebody Osama Bin Laden is dead, someone [else] says he's not… It gets to a point where everybody has his own story and nobody is sure what the truth is. There's people above everything controlling the information."

In an interview with Exclaim.ca, Away stated about VOIVOD's forthcoming studio album, "It's more in the progressive metal vein, so it's reminiscent of the 'Dimension Hatröss' era."

VOIVOD's new single, "Mechanical Mind", was released on October 9 (one day earlier internationally) as a digital single and a limited-edition seven-inch single-sided vinyl with a skull etching by VOIVOD drummer Michel "Away" Langevin on the B-side.

VOIVOD debuted the "Target Earth" title track during their April 12 concert at the Roadburn festival at the 013 venue in Tilburg, Holland.

On November 6th, AEROSMITH will release Music From Another Dimension! on Columbia Records. It marks the band’s 15th studio album and their first studio album of all-new material in 11 years.

'What Could Have Been Love' is the kind of wounded power ballad that dominated Aerosmith's run of hits in the 90s, much to the irritation of some longtime fans of the band's early, hardest-rocking work. But that side of the group has been part of their repertoire all the way back to the Seventies, at least since 'You See Me Crying' on 1975's Toys In The Attic.

Arizona grind masters LANDMINE MARATHON have parted ways with vocalist Grace Perry and have replaced her with Krysta Martinez (of Portland's TRANSIENT).

Commented the band: "This summer, Grace decided to leave the band to pursue non-musical endeavors. We are grateful for all of her contributions to LANDMINE MARATHON and wish her nothing but future successes."

LANDMINE MARATHON's fourth album, "Gallows", was released in September 2011 via Prosthetic Records. SCALE THE SUMMIT's third album, "The Collective", sold around 1,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 39 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

The follow-up to 2009's "Carving Desert Canyons", "The Collective" was recorded at Paint It Black Studios in Orlando, Florida with producer Mark Lewis (DEVILDRIVER, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER).

SCALE THE SUMMIT formed in 2005 while attending the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. The band relocated to Texas in 2006, where they recorded their first, self-released album. After signing with Prosthetic, they issued "Carving Desert Canyons", which Revolver called "a cinematic blast of intricately melodic fretwork and pummeling percussion," in 2009.

WARNOT, the project led by former CLOUDSCAPE guitarist Björn Eliasson, will release its debut album, "His Blood Is Yours", on November 6 via Nightmare Records.

Combining many sub-genres of music, mainly from rock and metal, WARNOT is melodic, raw, symphonic, theatrical, doomy and progressive; "His Blood Is Yours" is an epic rock/metal adventure ride that rings fresh.

Guitar player/composer Björn Eliasson picked up his axe in the Eighties and started his first band in 1988. In the early Nineties, he joined Patrik Svärd (CLOUDSCAPE) and formed a band dubbed DOCTOR WEIRD.

Conceived in 2001, CLOUDSCAPE released its self-titled debut in 2004 and followed it up by "Crimson Skies" (2006) and "Global Drama" (2008)..

In late 2009, Björn decided to leave CLOUDSCAPE to focus on his passion in his own musical project. Writing songs based on his visions, exploring limitless feelings and atmospheres, which have become WARNOT.

Björn worked on "His Blood is Yours" without stress of deadlines, only pure inspiration and a strong vision to create something truly unique. Choosing to work with many guest vocalists, Björn also sings on the album and flavors it with his unique, ground breaking voice complementing the other exceptional guest singers that have contributed to the album.

Graz, Austria-based GIVE EM BLOOD have announced the departures of bassist Martin and guitarist Benny from the band.

The band commented: “We all look back to an amazing time on and off the road with these two lads and wish them nothing but the best for their future!”

Filling the vacancies will be guitarist Christop (WITHIN THE DECEASED) and bassist Daniel (ex- HERE COMES THE KRAKEN) on bass.

The band released their new album entitled Seven Sins on September 9th via Bastardized Recordings.

Massachusetts-based hardcore/metal band CONVERGE was involved in a road accident earlier today (Wednesday, October 24) when the group's van hit a patch of black ice on its way to the CONVERGE's Seattle gig. The band's vocalist, Jacob Bannon, wrote in an online post, "After driving all day/evening, we hit a patch of black ice in the mountains of Oregon. We were forced to turn into a highway divider at 40mph in order to avoid sliding under a slew of 18-wheelers. The van spun 180 degrees after impact, and we were left facing the wrong direction on the highway. We spent a few hours prying our bumper off our front wheels. Thankfully, we are rolling again."

He added, "Bands, be safe out there. Never take anything for granted."

CONVERGE is in the middle of a U.S. tour with support from TORCHE and KVELERTAK.

CONVERGE's new album, "All We Love We Leave Behind", sold 6,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 69 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on October 9, the effort was made available in a deluxe package that includes a 48-page, full-color hardcover, clothbound book with original art created by Jacob Bannon via Epitaph (vinyl on Deathwish).

Singer poet, illustrator, author and activist Otep Shamaya will release her first live album, "Sounds Like Armageddon", on November 6 via Victory Records.

According to a press release, "Sounds Like Armageddon" "hits hard with eleven gut-wrenching tracks from four albums. Otep tears through classics like 'Battle Ready', 'Blood Pigs', 'Rise Rebel Resist' and 'Fists Fall' and will have you banging your head in no time! The album also includes the fan favorite cover of NIRVANA's 'Breed' that has become a staple at the end of Otep's live set.

Otep is currently in the studio working on her sixth full-length album for a January 2013 release.

Coheed And Cambria’s sixth studio album, a double concept album entitled The Afterman, will be released in two separate full-length volumes. The first volume, The Afterman: Ascension, was released on both physical and digital platforms in the US on October 9th via Hundred Handed/Everything Evil, and distributed through Fontana/Ingrooves (in Canada via Universal Music Canada). The second volume, The Afterman: Descension is due in February, 2013.

A deluxe version of the The Afterman includes a hardcover coffee-table book with expansive art by Heidi Taillefer and Nathan Spoor with collaborative written work from singer/creator Claudio Sanchez and writer Peter David that creates a song by song experience.

The two records follow-up to 2010's Year Of The Black Rainbow, and features new bassist Zach Cooper and returning drummer Josh Eppard, who have replaced Michael Todd and Chris Pennie respectively.

The concept albums are set in the band's alternate universe of Heaven's Fence, which are part of their series titled The Amory Wars. The Amory Wars is currently being developed by Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson of Leverage Productions for a live-action feature film. It follows the story of a superhuman dictator named Wilhelm Ryan, and a family that may have the ability to free the world from his control.

The Afterman albums will focus on a character named Sirius Amory, a scientist who discovers an energy force that can connect the universe's 78 planets together.

Frontman Claudio Sanchez said of the album: "This is without a doubt, the most honest record I've ever written. Though all the songs can be interpreted through our main character in the story, they were initially written in a very spontaneous manner. In the past, I've always had a predetermined idea of what the story was going to be when I approached the songs. With The Afterman being a new story within The Amory Wars arc, I allowed the events of my life to drive the concept, and therefore opened up the songwriting to a fuller degree."

Italian gothic metallers GODYV, following a revision of post-production of their new album, Alien Heart, decided, in accordance with their own label Southern Brigade Records, to postpone the release until February 28th, 2013.
In regards to the news, guitarist G.G.Gohm states: “We realize that it is already the third time that we postpone the release of this album, however we are all convinced that this is our most mature composition ever and we'd rather have a little more patience and focus on a post production which gives full justice to the final sound of the disc.”

Note that the album will be distributed worldwide via Scarlet Records and will consist of 12 tracks, including a very original cover version of MATIA BAZAR's song, I Feel You'.

Paris, France-based progressive death metal act SENTENCE have revealed a first extract from their upcoming debut album, entitled Everywhere. Listen to 'Everywhere Of Nowhere' below:
Having released a demo in 2009 and an EP called H.A.A.R.P in 2010, Sentence is coming again with their first full-lenght album, Everywhere, featuring 56 minutes of original and technical metal, mixing a lot of influences.
