According to Reuters, shock rocker Marilyn Manson has been voted the world's creepiest celebrity in a survey conducted by E-Poll Market Research ahead of the U.S. Halloween holiday on October 31.

E-Poll surveyed 1,100 people who ranked celebrities between 1-100, with the lowest scores highlighting celebrities that were more negatively portrayed and disliked. The "Creepiest Celebrities" list is derived from the survey as voters selected "creepy" from 46 attribute options for each celebrity.

LAMB OF GOD have completed work on their yet untitled new album, due in early 2012 via Epic Records.

Drummer Chris Adler states: "The album is done. Details coming soon. The first set of invitees have been brought in to listen (no press copies kids), and the response is fantastic. Press has begun for the release and the tours we have coming in 2012. We've made it this far."

During their 2012 world tour, Lamb Of God, in connection with Epic Records and 914 Films, will be shooting a feature film documenting fans and their personal stories of how they use Lamb Of God's music to cope with their everyday lives.

Vocalist Andy Biersack of Los Angeles theatrical rockers BLACK VEIL BRIDES broke his nose during the band's concert in Luxembourg Wednesday night (October 26). As a result, the group has been forced to put all of its previously announced European shows on hold until further notice.

Writing on Twitter, Andy said, "For those asking, during last night's show I broke my nose down the center, splitting the bone. . . I apologize and promise to do my best to recover. Excruciating pain and it's my own damn stage antics fault. I promise to try my best to heal quickly."

Biersack broke three ribs on June 18 after trying to jump onto a stage from a 15-foot balcony during the band's concert at Hot Topic in Hollywood, California. Despite the injury, the frontman returned to the stage and finished the gig.

Maldives-based death/black metallers NOTHNEGAL have set "Decadence" as the title of their full-length debut, due on January 20, 2012 (January 24 in the U.S.) 2012 via Season Of Mist. The CD was mixed by Greg Reely (FEAR FACTORY, MACHINE HEAD, DEVIN TOWNSEND) and Ahti Kortelainen (SENTENCED, SONATA ARCTICA).

Out on the German label Out Of Line on November 18th is the newest Blutengel album "Nachtbringer". The album will be released in 3 different formats, as regular CD and as two limited editions in different packaging. The regular version comes in a jewel box and contains 8 all new 'odes to the night' as the label puts it. To top things off, the CD also contains 3 unreleased demos and a live version of the group's hit "Black Roses".

The first limited editon comes as CD-sized digipak, including a full length live DVD, featuring a recording of the group's recent "Tränenherz"-tour plus lots of backstage extras. The second limited edition has the same contents as the one above, but comes in a DVD-sized cardboard digibox (A5).

Pomona, California thrashers BONDED BY BLOOD have announced the addition of bassist Jessie Sanchez to the group's ranks. He replaces former BONDED BY BLOOD bassist Jerry Garcia, who left the band earlier this year.

The new BONDED BY BLOOD lineup is writing songs for a new album, which is tentatively due to be recorded in early 2012.

Commented the band: "We are thrilled to announce that our good friend Jessie Sanchez has joined the BONDED BY BLOOD family! It was a long and devious search to find the right dude for the job, but we are proud to have him in the band slapping the bass for us! Album #3 is sounding killer so far and we can't wait to hit the studio sometime in January!"

German modern metallers DEADLOCK and have parted ways with vocalist Johannes Prem. A replacement singer has been recruited and his identity will be revealed soon.

Commented Prem: "After over 15 years of heavy music and being one of the founding members of DEADLOCK, it is time to start a new chapter in my life.

"It was not an easy decision for me to split ways with my longtime friends but as life goes on, everybody has to learn where to set his priorities. Having a great job and a perfect little family, there is simply not enough time to give DEADLOCK the attention and time it deserves.

DEAD TO THIS WORLD — the speed/thrash/black metal project led by former IMMORTAL bassist Iscariah — has inked a deal with Soulseller Records. The band's new mini-album, "Sacrifice", will be released on December 16. This effort features close to 30 minutes of all-devouring darkness and shall be followed by a full-length album in 2012.

"We are very pleased with the agreement with Soulseller and feel we have found mutual enthusiasm through them," stated Iscariah. "We are ready once again and nothing will stand in our way. Let it be known."

"Sacrifice" was recorded and produced by the DEAD TO THIS WORLD bandmembers themselves. The result is "a foul and untamed force which has left them armed, hungry and ready to kill," according to a press release.

AEROSMITH returned to the stage last night (Wednesday, October 26) at the Jockey Club in Asuncion, Paraguay, a day after singer Steven Tyler fell in his hotel bathroom, hitting his face and losing two teeth after he apparently became dizzy due to gastrointestinal problems. He suffered cuts and broke two teeth, forcing a one-day delay in a concert in the Paraguayan capital.

AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry tweeted after the show, "Steven even played harp with his busted lip. My mind was blown. He put on one of his best shows ever. AEROSMITH rocks on. Gotta hand it to Steven for playing the show tonight considering how sick was from food poisoning the night before. He's amazing."

Norwegian progressive/psychedelic black metallers ENSLAVED are the recepients of this year's Norwegian Artists And Songwriters Association honorary award. The award will be presented to the band by the Norwegian minister of culture Anniken Huitfeldt on Monday, October 31.

ENSLAVED has received four Spellemann awards (the Norwegian equivalent to the Grammy Awards), toured the U.S., Europe and Asia. In addition to the bandmembers' musical achievements, their interest, dedication and contribution to the Norwegian music industry was a significant reason for them receiving the Norwegian Artists And Songwriters Association award.
The Norwegian Artists And Songwriters Association honorary award is handed out, for the 10th time, by a jury consisting of the board at the Norwegian Artists And Songwriters Association. The award prize is a glass microphone made by glass artist Camilla Prytz, and the inscription reads as follows: "The prize is presented to a person or group that has done a significant effort to promote Norwegian music within the genres of which the Norwegian Artists And Songwriters Association represent; Pop / Rock / Related."

BLACKGATES — the new East San Francisco Bay Area/New York metal outfit featuring former ANTHRAX singer Dan Nelson, drummer Paul Bostaph (TESTAMENT, ex-EXODUS, SLAYER, FORBIDDEN), guitarist Jeremy Epp (THE VENTING MACHINE) and bassist Uriah Duffy (WHITESNAKE) — has tapped Dvs Artist Management to oversee the group's business affairs.

Dvs Artist Management was created by former A&R rep Robert Bolger, who was previously the driving force behind Crash Classics, a division of the now-defunct independent Phoenix-based hard rock and heavy metal label Crash Music Inc. Dvs's roster includes WHIPLASH and GENERATION KILL (featuring EXODUS frontman Rob Dukes).

BLACKGATES is scheduled to enter the studio in November to start pre-production on its forthcoming debut album.

Bostaph previously stated about BLACKGATES's musical direction, "Our sound is drawn from all of our in fluences. Mostly we don't want to be a thrash metal band, although we draw from that genre as well. There is something in our music for everyone. Heavy grooves, good hooks and Dan's killer pipes. I think we have an independent sound that will stand on its own." Nelson added, "It's thrashy and heavy, so it will appeal to ANTHRAX and TESTAMENT fans. But has the groove and brutality of PANTERA, and is also very melodic. The guitarist is a kid from the Bay Area named Jeremy Epp, who's an unknown, but sensational. People are gonna love him."

ORANGE GOBLIN, the heavy-hitting British metal band, will release its brand new studio album, "A Eulogy For The Damned", on February 14 (one day earlier internationally) via Candlelight Records. The ten-track offering was recorded at The Animal Farm studio in South London, produced and engineered by Jamie Dodd and mastered two-time Grammy-nominated PINK FLOYD engineer Andy Jackson at Tube Mastering.

"A Eulogy For The Damned" will be released on CD and limited-edition colored vinyl in gatefold sleeve.

AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler reportedly took what was described as a "nasty fall" in a hotel shower in Paraguay on Tuesday (October 25). Multiple reports out of the country, where AEROSMITH was scheduled to perform that night, say that the 63-year-old singer smashed his face, knocked out several teeth and had to go to a local hospital after falling in the shower in his room at the Bourbon Hotel.

AEROSMITH has since issued the following official statement on the matter:

"Steven Tyler suffered minor injuries as a result of food poisoning yesterday in Paraguay. He was taken to the hospital where he was treated and released. Last night's show has been postponed until today. Steven would like to sincerely apologize to his fans in Paraguay for the inconvenience and hopes to see them all tonight."

Tyler fell from a stage in South Dakota two years ago, breaking his shoulder and leading to the cancellation of the rest of the band's 2009 summer tour.

The group took a break from the studio for the current South American trek, which it will follow with a Japanese run at the end of November.

AEROSMITH is expected to resume work on its first all-new studio album in 10 years early in 2012, immediately after the holidays.

No cheesy reunion, no new albums, no epitaph for Mieszko. We will play only a few cities and festivals in a limited number of disruptive, unruly concerts.

When lead singer Mieszko Talarczyk disappeared and died in the devastating and tragic tsunami of 2004, Nasum instantly ceased to exist. As the band's voice, producer and one of the main songwriters, Mieszko was a vital part of Nasum's bloodline. When he passed, all plans for tours and recordings were abruptly stopped. Nasum died when Mieszko died, and the rest of the band members went their separate ways.

But in the years that passed, the feeling that everything had been left unfinished lingered with the rest of us. Suddenly seven years had passed, and we realized it was time for closure; for us, the band and for the fans. With our anniversary coming up it felt like a perfect time to end Nasum the way it was supposed to - exploding in a ferocious, blasting frenzy, not wither away at the mercy of tragedy. And finally we are ready, able and totally fucking charged, so expect something over the top. The shows will be a varied, intense mix of the best songs from this colossus of grind.

To handle vocal duties on the upcoming shows we have asked Keijo Niinimaa, vocalist in Finnish grind faves Rotten Sound, to join us. They were always close friends of Nasum, and while Keijo's plagued screams won't replace Mieszko, they will add a crippling viciousness to the shows. On a few occasions, we might ask a few other close friends of Nasum to do some vocal sessions. Who? Wait and see!
