NEMHAIN will release its debut album, entitled "From the Ashes", in later in the year vai an as-yet-undisclosed record label. The CD was recorded and mixed over a three-week period in April at Studio Fredman in Hyssna, Sweden.
Commented the band: "We've more or less got 'From The Ashes' ready to be released, but we've been in negotiations with a label to do a worldwide release, rather than go it alone. Everything's just being finalized now, so we should be confirming a release date soon."

NOVEMBERS DOOM: New Song Available For DownloadA new track from Chicago's NOVEMBERS DOOM is available for download at this location. The song comes off the band's seventh full-length CD, "Into Night's Requiem Infernal", which is scheduled for release later in the year via The End Records. The CD was recorded at Belle City Sound studio in Racine, Wisconsin with Chris Djuricic (NOVEMBERS DOOM bassist) producing and Dan Swanö mixing at Unisound in Örebro, Sweden.
Commented the band: "We're using the same recording/mixing formula we've used on 'The Pale Haunt Departure' and 'The Novella Reservoir'. In our opinion, the combination of Djuricic and Swanö creates the perfect sound for us, and we've received nothing but stellar reviews of sound quality from this combination in the past.
"Every band hypes their new material, and says it's the best they've done, and the hardest and the heaviest... You can judge that for yourself in time. What we can say is that this is the first time going into a recording the entire band feels confident and believes the material will please fans of the band, as well as turn many new heads in our direction. It's dark, aggressive, and melodic, and compliments the last three releases."
"Into Night's Requiem Infernal" track listing:
01. Into Night's Requiem Infernal
02. Eulogy for the Living Lost
03. Empathy's Greed
04. The Fifth Day of March
05. Lazarus Regret
06. I Hurt Those I Adore
07. The Harlots Lie
08. When Desperation Fills the Void
Check out the cover artwork below.

Larry Roberts - Guitar
Vito Marchese - Guitar
Chris Djuricic - Bass

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE Taps LINKIN PARK Producer For New AlbumWelsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE have tapped Don Gilmore (LINKIN PARK, TRAPT, AVRIL LAVIGNE, GOOD CHARLOTTE, THE VERONICAS, PEARL JAM, TRUST COMPANY, DURAN DURAN, LACUNA COIL) to produce their next album, tentatively due before the end of the year. The CD is being recorded in London and Wales.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE guitarist/vocalist Matt Tuck recently spoke to U.K.'s Metal Hammer magazine about the songwriting process for the band's next album.
Regarding lyrical themes for the new material, Tuck said, "There's one song that's about not being able to have what you want. Being in the band, it doesn't happen much. When it comes to girls, you can have the pick of the bunch, but you always want what you can't have, y'know… but it's this one chick, man… so it's a song about obsession."
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE recently re-released "Scream Aim Fire" with four bonus tracks that were recorded and "canned" before the band decided to write more songs. In the podcast, Matt discusses why they were put aside and how they are, in fact, some of the best songs the band wrote at the time. "It's a shame they'll never shine like some other tracks, because they're just bonus tracks. It doesn't take a genius to spot the difference between my voice on the 'Poison' and 'Scream…'; something was up. So I re-recorded the songs after my voice got better." He added, "I know I could have sung that album much better." 14

VADER recently made a pre-production/demo version of the song "Impure", available for free download at this location. The track was recorded in December 2008 at Hertz studios.
Commented Piotr "Peter" Wiwczarek: "The title of the album — which is the very first VADER song ever — is chosen not by chance. It will be connected with recordings like 'De Profundis' or 'Litany' with themes of forgotten worlds, mythos or ancient powers still living in humans subconsciousness." 7

AMORPHIS: New Song onlineEsa Holopainen comments: “Skyforger is a strong and unified entity. This is without doubt the most musical record we have done so far. It is based on a coherent theme again, so we are continuing along the lines of the previous album.”
Says guitarist Tomi Koivusaari, “The lyrics are pretty much going to be based on Kalevala world again, our own version of the tale of Kalevala, the idea of creating the sky. The same guy who did the Silent Waters lyrics is working now with the text for the next album. The Finnish version is already done, but it still has to be translated. It’s 15 poems and is his version and his view of it. Because he’s very like a shamanic guy; he’s very related to Kalevala world. This guy is really into Kalevala, and he’s also a painter and actor, a kind of - I don’t know what the word is – performance artist. He goes into the street and does his own performances.”
Musically, “there are some great songs,” laughs co-guitarist Esa Holopainen. “There are some things that remind me of the last two albums. There are a couple of really progressive songs, with maybe five or six different parts to one song. It’s going to be one where you have to give time to the album. We have about 18 songs and we can choose to release them all or just ten of them. Normally we have just one or two extra songs. The reason we have so many is that everybody in the band writes nowadays.” 13

HOLY MOSES cancelled russian tourDear All Fans in Russia and Ukraine of Holy Moses,
Please only trust dates for tourdates of Holy Moses only on our
official site www.holymoses.net and www.holymoses.de and
www.myspacecom/holymosesgermany
We never got signed contracts, flights or Visa’s for Holy Moses shows
end of April and beginning of May for Russia and Ukraine.
People asking us, why now the 3rd time, Holy Moses shows are cancelled
for Russia? But to let you know – we never cancelled shows, which are
confirmed with us and we had contracts for.
Like you all know in Ukraine – we got contracts for Metal Fest In
Ukraine and we did a great show.
We always need to get confirmed shows 3 month before they will happen,
so that we can start the promotion and the members of the band can get
free time, to do it.
But now, last week, we got information, that shows are booked for
Russia and Ukraine – but those shows where booked without any
contracts between the booking agents. Like we got the news – that in
the end of march, the clubs got booked, but without any contracts.
This is only four (4) weeks, before the shows should happen.
We tried to manage it, because we are waiting a long time to come to
Russia and back to Ukraine, but this time was too short, to get all
members together and we want to present to you the real band – and not
Sabina growling on a Mini-Disc Tape. I think you will understand this.
So, we are talking right now to the booking agent in Russia, to set up
dates for the next month, so that we can prepare and do a good
promotion, so that everybody knows that Holy Moses is coming to Russia
and Ukraine for sure.
Hope to see ya All soon in Russia and Ukraine, and sorry for
misunderstanding between bookers - it is not the fault of the band.
Yours Holy Moses 7

Original FEAR FACTORY Members ReuniteA brand new project has been formed featuring original FEAR FACTORY members Dino Cazares (guitar) and Burton C. Bell (vocals). The band, which is rumored to also include bassist Byron Stroud (who played on the last two FEAR FACTORY albums in addition to touring and recording with STRAPPING YOUNG LAD and ZIMMERS HOLE) and legendary drummer Gene Hoglan (DETHKLOK, STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, DARK ANGEL, DEATH, TESTAMENT), will play a number of shows this summer as well as record a studio album.
Cazares and Bell were photographed "hanging out" together at the April 6, 2008 MINISTRY concert at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, California and have been rebuilding their friendship ever since.
Dino's tenure with FEAR FACTORY ended in March 2002 after Bell announced his departure from the group, allegedly telling his bandmates at the time, "Look, guys, I'm not into it anymore, I don't wanna play in the band anymore, I don't wanna play with you guys, and I especially don't wanna play with you, Dino."
FEAR FACTORY eventually reformed without Dino and released two more studio albums, 2004's "Archetype" and 2005's "Transgression".
In a September 2007 interview with MTV.com, Cazares — who currently heads up a new band called DIVINE HERESY — stated about his former group, "In the long run, I believe I came out the winner, and I feel that they have bastardized the name, and it's a completely different band, different style. I definitely carried the passion in that band, and my riffs, my style, they were very distinctive. I don't regret anything I created in FEAR FACTORY whatsoever. It will be part of my memory for the rest of my life. I believe I am continuing the legacy and keeping this metal torch alive and bringing it back with DIVINE HERESY. You can feel the hunger and passion in DIVINE HERESY, which I believe FEAR FACTORY has been missing, and is still missing to this day."
DIVINE HERESY, whose status is "unaffected" by Dino's involvement with the new project, is currently working on its sophomore album, "Bringer Of Plagues", for a July 28 release via Century Media Records. The band is once again recording with acclaimed producing team Dirty Icon (Logan Mader and Lucas Banker), which has previously worked with CAVALERA CONSPIRACY, GOJIRA, FIVE FINGER DEATH PUNCH and DEVILDRIVER. Cazares is also co-producing the new effort.
DIVINE HERESY's follow-up to 2007's "Bleed The Fifth" will be the group's release with new vocalist Travis Neal, who was previously a member of THE BEREAVED and PUSHED.
DIVINE HERESY's debut album, "Bleed the Fifth", has sold more than 30,000 copies in the United States since its August 2007 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan. The CD, which has shifted more than 50,000 copies worldwide, was issued in Japan with an exclusive bonus track, "Purity Defiled".
ARKAEA — the new band featuring FEAR FACTORY members Christian Olde Wolbers (guitar) and Raymond Herrera (drums) alongside vocalist Jon Howard (THREAT SIGNAL) and bassist Pat Kavanaugh (THREAT SIGNAL) — recently completed work on its debut album for E1 Music (formerly Koch Records). A new release date for the CD, which was originally due in March, has not yet been announced. 8
