NOVERIA Release "Broken" Music VideoProgressive power metal veterans, Noveria, have released a video for the song "Broken", the first single from their new album, Aequilibrium, out on October 25 via Scarlet Records. Watch the clip below.
Aequilibrium marks the third chapter of Noveria’s musical journey by further refining the band's signature sound into a massive cinematic experience. The lyrics will take you from the middle of a massive earthquake to the darkest corners of the human mind, all the way to discovering a brand new life after losing everything that mattered.
Virtuoso guitar solos, full throttle riffs and blasting drum grooves merge with beautiful melodic vocal lines and choruses, while the atmospheric keyboards and orchestrations give it an intense and powerful feel. Aequilibrium takes the progressive power metal standards to a whole new level and showcases the band's finest songwriting, top notch musicianship and overall metal mastery.
The cover art is based on an original oil painting by an Italian contemporary artist, and created by Brasilian graphic designer Vini. Aequilibrium was mixed and mastered by Simone Mularoni (DGM).

Listen To New QUIET RIOT Song 'Heartbreak City'"Heartbreak City", the new single from veteran rockers QUIET RIOT, can be streamed below. The song is taken from the band's upcoming studio album, "Hollywood Cowboys", which will be released on November 8 via Frontiers Music Srl.
Asked how "Hollywood Cowboys" differs from other QUIET RIOT LPs, drummer Frankie Banali says: "This is the most diverse QUIET RIOT release. The songs run the gamut from straight-ahead balls-to-the-wall rock tracks to a blues song to double-bass-drum pedal-to-the-metal songs. There is a whole lotta grooves going on."
The follow-up to 2017's "Road Rage" will feature the following songs:
01. Don't Call It Love
02. In The Blood
03. Heartbreak City
04. The Devil That You Know
05. Change Or Die
06. Roll On
07. Insanity
08. Hellbender
09. Wild Horses
10. Holding On
11. Last Outcast
12. Arrows And Angels
The cover artwork can be found below.
Banali previously told Canada's The Metal Voice about "Hollywood Cowboys": "My consideration always is — not because I have to, but because of the way I am — my first consideration when I'm writing something, and when I write together with my writing partner Neil Citron, is, 'Would [late QUIET RIOT singer] Kevin DuBrow like this?' And the greatest thing about Kevin is he was so open-minded and he had such a broad taste in music that there were very few things that he didn't like. For instance, on the [2006] 'Rehab' record, some of the things that Neil and I wrote Kevin really liked but it was not in his comfort zone, which is why we went out and had some of the lyrics co-written by Glenn Hughes. But, again, a lot of credit goes to Kevin, whereas I could play him a song and he would love it, and he would say, 'I don't know what to do with this.' But that did not make it impossible for it to be on the record. So that continues with the future QUIET RIOT studio release."
DuBrow died in November 2007 of an accidental cocaine overdose. He was 52 years old.
Banali resurrected QUIET RIOT in 2010, three years after DuBrow's death.
QUIET RIOT initially featured the late guitar legend Randy Rhoads and went through some early lineup shifts before securing the musicians that recorded the band's multi-platinum-selling 1983 album "Metal Health".
Bassist Chuck Wright has been a part of QUIET RIOT, on and off, since 1982, having initially been involved in the "Metal Health" recordings (he played bass on the tracks "Metal Health" and "Don't Wanna Let You Go"). Guitarist Alex Grossi was in the last version of the band, from 2004 through 2007, before Kevin passed away, and was asked by Banali to return in 2010.
QUIET RIOT went through two vocalists — Mark Huff and Scott Vokoun — before settling on Jizzy Pearl in 2013. Pearl announced his exit from QUIET RIOT in October 2016 and was briefly replaced by Seann Nichols, who played only five shows with the group before the March 2017 arrival of "American Idol" finalist James Durbin. Earlier this month, Durbin quit QUIET RIOT and was replaced by a returning Pearl.
QUIET RIOT's performance at last year's Frontiers Rock Festival was released in January on CD/DVD and Blu-ray under the title "One Night In Milan".

GATECREEPER Premiers "From The Ashes" Music VideoArizona death metal band, Gatecreeper, return with their new album, Deserted, out on October 4 via Relapse Records. The band have released a music video for the track, "From The Ashes", directed by Ian Shelton and available for viewing below.
Vocalist Chase Mason comments: “'From The Ashes' is the most anthemic song we have ever written. Although we have flirted with the idea in the past, there are more melodic guitar leads in this song than ever before. I’d say this one is primed and ready for the European Metal Festival circuit.”
Deserted is due out October 4th on CD/LP/CS/Digital. Physical packages are available for pre-order here. Digital Downloads / Streaming Services are available here.
Deserted was recorded at Homewrecker Studios in Tucson, where Gatecreeper co-produced the album with engineer Ryan Bram. Converge guitarist Kurt Ballou handled the mix at Godcity in Salem, MA, and Brad Boatright mastered the album at Audiosiege in Portland, OR. Deserted’s hallucinatory cover art was created by Brad Moore.
Additionally, Gatecreeper comment on Deserted: "We are very proud to finally unleash our second full length album. There are plenty of new and exciting elements mixed into our songwriting formula, but the most apparent evolution is simply getting better at what we have been doing since the beginning. Our experiences over the 3 years have made us a stronger band all around. With Deserted we wanted to solidify and define the Gatecreeper sound of memorable songwriting with both infectious hooks and crushing riffs."
Tracklisting:
"Deserted"
"Puncture Wounds"
"From The Ashes"
"Ruthless"
"Everlasting"
"Barbaric Pleasure"
"Sweltering Madness"
"Boiled Over"

THEORY OF A DEADMAN To Release 'Say Nothing' Album In January; 'History Of Violence' Video AvailableTHEORY OF A DEADMAN will release its seventh studio album, "Say Nothing", out January 31 via Atlantic Records. Lead single "History Of Violence" — which turns the tables on a story of domestic violence — is out now along with the gripping music video. Directed by Sam Sulam, the visual for "History Of Violence" illustrates a searing snapshot of a woman enduring an abusive husband as she plans to fight back, eventually ending up in jail but free of her abuser.
"Say Nothing" is available for pre-order now at all DSPs and each pre-order will include an instant download of "History Of Violence".
"'History Of Violence' tells the sad story of a girl trapped in a life of domestic abuse, leaving her with what she feels is the only way to escape," explains lead vocalist and songwriter Tyler Connolly. "Even though she's in jail, it's still a better place to be than being imprisoned in real life by this man. We're encouraging anyone affected by domestic violence to call the National Domestic Violence Hotline for help: 1-800-799-7233."
On "Say Nothing", THEORY — Tyler Connolly (lead vocals, guitar), Dave Brenner (guitar, backing vocals), Dean Back (bass) and Joey Dandeneau (drums) — is speaking up through undeniable anthems rooted in scorching songcraft, experimental vision, rock 'n' roll attitude, and clever pop ambition. Recorded in London with producer Martin Terefe (Jason Mraz, Yungblud), the album features timely lyrical commentary on many issues that our society is grappling with today. Domestic violence, racism, the divisiveness in American politics and more are explored on the 10-track album, which finds THEORY's finger on the pulse of the current climate threaded together with a message that's both a cautionary warning and a hopeful wish for our collective future.
"I look at the record as a microcosm of our current era," says Brenner. "It's a reminder to look inward at what's happening and what we're becoming. I hope everyone dives into the words. At the same time, music is still an escape. Maybe we can give the world a little solace and encourage everyone to treat each other better."
Peeling back the layers of THEORY's depth and breadth like never before, "Say Nothing" is a continuation of their musical and thematic evolution, displaying the band's powerful storytelling in full force and introducing fresh sounds and sonics. Album opener "Black Hole Of Your Heart" features orchestration set to an arena-ready beat punctuated by creaky guitar. A pilgrimage to Abbey Road Studios inspired the song "Ted Bundy", a first-person account about a terribly troubled man who can't properly love; not even the most beautiful woman can fill that void and change him. "Strangers" strikes a chord with its provocative prose that holds a mirror up to the state of American politics. Elsewhere, a gospel choir kicks off "Quicksand", adding yet another dimension to "Say Nothing"'s aural palette.
Ahead of their U.S. and European headlining tour beginning September 27 in Jacksonville, North Carolina, THEORY has announced a Canadian headlining tour in their native country kicking off January 31 in Vancouver, with the first of two nights at The Commodore Ballroom to coincide with the release of "Say Nothing". Pre-sale tickets are available starting Friday, September 27, with the public on-sale beginning Friday, October 4 at 10 a.m. local time.
"Say Nothing" track listing

When OZZY OSBOURNE First Heard POST MALONE Track “Take What You Want” He “Loved It”Ozzy Osbourne continues to basque in the success of his most recent collaboration with hip-hop artist Post Malone and the song “Take What You Want,” which debuted at No. 8 on the September 21 Billboard Hot 100, and remains at No. 17 on this week’s chart. The appearance is Osbourne’s first top 10 hit on the Hot 100 since his Lita Ford duet “Close My Eyes Forever” reached No. 8 in 1989, marking the longest break between top 10 hits in the chart's history. Osbourne has now scored at least one Hot 100 hit in four consecutive decades.
“Post has been a huge Ozzy fan since he was a kid,” Louis Bell, who co-produced the song with Andrew Watt, tells Billboard. “This was definitely a dream come true for him.”
Watt helped bring the pair together after meeting the Black Sabbath leader’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne, at a friend’s party and pitching her on the idea of Post and Ozzy collaborating together. Watt tells Billboard that the interest was immediate, but though the follow-through took a bit longer.
“Kelly played him the tape and he loved it, but then I didn’t hear anything for a while,” Watt remembers. “I kept texting Kelly over and over again, and all of a sudden, we got the text from her that said, ‘Dad’s going to do the song. He loves it.’”

Watch SLAYER Perform 'Repentless' From 'The Relentless Killogy' Motion PictureIf there is any doubt that SLAYER will be sorely missed once the band performs the last show of its final world tour on Saturday, November 30, then check out the beginning of the band's concert, SLAYER's entrance on stage, and opening song, "Repentless". Taken from the upcoming two-part "Slayer: The Relentless Killogy" motion picture and companion LP/CD release "Live At The Forum In Inglewood, CA" due out November 8 (Nuclear Blast), this is just a demonstrable taste of why SLAYER has been one of the most influential thrash/punk/metal bands of the last 35-plus years, why an up-and-coming rock band's professional "rite of passage" is simply surviving an entire SLAYER tour as the opening band, and why SLAYER's live shows are "must-see events."
Directed by Wayne Isham who has worked with artists including METALLICA, FOO FIGHTERS and Michael Jackson, Part Two of "Slayer: The Relentless Killogy", "Live At The Forum in Inglewood, CA" is SLAYER's entire 90-minute live set filmed at the Los Angeles Forum on August 5, 2017, and showcases the spectacular pyrotechnic stage show for what has been cited as SLAYER's finest tour production.
Part One of "Slayer: The Repentless Killogy" motion picture was written and directed by BJ McDonnell who conceived and directed the three brutal music videos — "You Against You", "Repentless" and "Pride in Prejudice" — for SLAYER's final studio album, 2015's "Repentless". Encompassing revenge, murder, bloodshed and retribution, the "Repentless Killogy" short film opens with the three music videos assembled as one chronological storyline and stars many of the actors who appeared in the original video series, including Jason Trost ("Hatchet III") who stars as Wyatt, and Danny Trejo ("From Dusk Till Dawn"). Los Angeles artist Blake Armstrong of Spaceboycomics created the cover art for the Blu-ray, and the art for the vinyl and CD was designed by Brazilian artist Marcelo Vasco.
SLAYER will begin "The Final Campaign", the last leg of its final world tour on November 2, wrapping up its touring career with two shows at The Forum in Los Angeles on November 29 and 30. 1

Watch KITTIE's MORGAN LANDER Perform With KARKAOS In MontrealQuebec metal band KARKAOS played the second show with its new lead singer, KITTIE frontwoman Morgan Lander, on September 21 in Montreal. Fan-filmed video footage of the concert can be seen below.
When her addition to KARKAOS was first announced in August, Lander said in a statement: "Joining KARKAOS has been a true honor for me. It feels so incredibly good to be back in the metal game after a number of years away, and I cannot wait to step on the stage once again with these amazing musicians."
Added band founder Vincent Harnois: "We already knew how talented Morgan was when we began talking to her about joining the band. When she sent us her first demos, we realized that this was going to be something extremely special. She is an absolute pleasure to work with and she brings a whole new dimension to our songs. It is an honor to have her with us and we are thrilled to start the next chapter or our band together."
Forged out of the ashes of a much earlier band incarnation by Harnois in 2003, KARKAOS has quickly evolved into one of the most respected and celebrated metal acts from Montreal, Canada. Mixing elements of death metal, power metal and hard rock, this female-fronted band succeeds in bridging the gap between extreme darkness and light, beauty and terror. KARKAOS has performed alongside international acts such as INTO ETERNITY, ENSLAVED, THE AGONIST, UNEXPECT, UNLEASH THE ARCHERS, DELAIN and LEAVES' EYES.
KARKAOS released its first EP, titled "In Burning Skies", in 2010, closely followed by a professionally shot music video and a live appearance on Montreal's prestigious music television station Musique Plus. Striking while the iron was hot, the band returned to the studio to record their critically acclaimed debut full-length album "Empire" in 2013, led by the single and music video for "Depths Of Madness". After years of crafting their live show and refining their sound, once again KARKAOS managed to come back stronger and more accomplished than ever with the release of their second full-length album, "Children Of The Void", in 2017, a testament to their work ethic and strength as a band, diversifying their sound with the addition of the immensely talented and seasoned drummer Justine Ethier (BLACKGUARD, SYKODE).
KARKAOS is ready to push the boundaries of extreme melodic metal with its upcoming follow-up to "Children Of The Void". The band entered Silverwings studio last month to demo and work on pre-production on eight new songs.
KARKAOS expects to record its next full-length this fall/winter for an early 2020 release.

Watch SCOTT IAN's 8-Year-Old Son Play Guitar With FOO FIGHTERSRevel Young Ian, the eight-year-old son of ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian, joined the FOO FIGHTERS on stage this past Friday, September 20 at the Bourbon & Beyond festival in Louisville, Kentucky to perform "Everlong" on guitar.
Scott shared video footage of the performance on his Instagram, writing in an accompanying message: "Proudest dad moment ever? How about when your son gets to join his favorite band on stage to play Everlong in front of 40,000 people and NAILS IT! Thank you Dave, Taylor, Pat, Nate, Chris, Rami, Gus, Kerwin, Sean, Patrick, Simone and everyone else on the Foo crew for being the best!!! @foofighters @gusbrandt @pearlcaliforniacountry @bourbonandbeyond"
Back in 2014, Ian told Horns Up Rocks that his then-three-old son was a big fan of METALLICA, THE BEATLES and AC/DC and that he could already tell the difference between Bon Scott's voice and that of Brian Johnson.
"He knows a lot of the stuff that he hears or sees in the house," Scott said at the time. "But what's really cool is that he actually recognizes and knows the difference between Bon Scott and Brian Johnson, which is pretty cool, I think, for an almost three-year-old. Anytime AC/DC is on, he'll go, 'That's Bon singing.' And then when it's not Bon, he'll say, 'That's not Bon singing.' He knows. That's pretty cool, I think."
Asked whether metal musicians should be parents, Ian said it was the best thing that had ever happened to him. He added: "I think you have to take that on a case-by-case basis. I couldn't say enough about having a child; I think it's the greatest thing ever in the whole world. But I do think that there are a lot of people on this planet, not necessarily metal musicians, that shouldn't be parents."

The group has been playing the track live during their current tour with ENFORCER, which kicked off in San Diego on September 5 and continues tonight at Toronto's Velvet Underground. MetalSucks recently posted fan-filmed footage of the group's performances of the song in both San Francisco and Sacramento, calling it "an aggressive, thrashy number that seems to have done a fine job of keeping the kids a-moshin'... it's reassuring to know the can still crank out thrash riffs with the best of 'em."
WARBRINGER's as-yet-untitled new record — which was helmed by returning producer Mike Plotnikoff (IN FLAMES, FEAR FACTORY, ALL THAT REMAINS) and mastered once again by Howie Weinberg (ANTHRAX, SLAYER, OVERKILL) — will be coming out on Napalm Records and marks the band's first full-length release with bassist Chase Bryant (ONI), who joined the group last year.
"'Firepower Kills' is the album opener and is a rapid-fire thrash burner, with both lyrics and music following the theme of the rapidly evolving and really frightening side of technology. We've been playing this tune nightly on the current tour and it's been highly well-received," explains WARBRINGER vocalist John Kevill. "We are right in the middle of this massive North American tour with ENFORCER and have left a wake of fire over much of the continent. More updates on WARBRINGER incoming… yes, the future looks bright!"
Over the past dozen years, WARBRINGER has released five acclaimed albums of intense, aggressive thrash and toured with a who's who of metal, including MEGADETH, TESTAMENT, OBITUARY, NAPALM DEATH, EXODUS, SUFFOCATION, OVERKILL, ARCH ENEMY, KREATOR, SOILWORK, MUNICIPAL WASTE, SKELETONWITCH, DESTRUCTION, NEVERMORE, SYMPHONY X, ICED EARTH and DEATH ANGEL, among others.

Legendary CREAM Drummer GINGER BAKER Is 'Critically Ill'Legendary CREAM drummer Ginger Baker is "critically ill" and in the hospital, his family has revealed.
"Please keep him in your prayers tonight," the family wrote in a brief statement posted to Baker's official Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon.
Baker, who turned 80 in August, has experienced a number of health issues in recent years. In 2016, he underwent open heart surgery, which forced him to cancel a run of tour dates. During recovery, a fall also left him with swollen legs and feet. In 2013, he was diagnosed with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and he is also said to ber suffering from chronic back pain as a result of degenerative osteoarthritis.
During his musical beginnings on the London jazz scene of the late 1950s, Peter "Ginger" Baker forged a name for himself for his unconventional drum setup and flamboyant style. In 1966, after seeing Eric Clapton play in London, he formed the power trio CREAM with Clapton and bassist Jack Bruce. Over the next two years, CREAM sold 15 million albums, scoring such hits as "White Room", "Strange Brew" and "Sunshine Of Your Love".
Baker, who gained a reputation as the most uncontrollable musician on the scene, was the subject of a 2013 documentary, "Beware Of Mr. Baker", which painted the title character as a chain-smoking, profanity-spewing, mean-spirited, entitled, grouchy, vile and self-destructive man with otherworldly talent and tragic flaws.
The Baker family are sad to announce that Ginger is critically ill in hospital. Please keep him in your prayers tonight

NECROPHAGIA Best-Of Collection Due In November; Curated By DEATH, EXHUMED, MAYHEM MembersSeason Of Mist will release a best-of compilation for American cult death metal pioneers, Necrophagia, with their greatest tracks in memory of Frank 'Killjoy' Pucci, who passed away on March 18, 2018.
Here Lies Necrophagia; 35 Years Of Death Metal will be released worldwide on November 22. It can be pre-ordered here.
The tracklisting has been carefully selected by Scott Carlson (Repulsion Death, ex-Death), Matt Harvey (Exhumed), Maniac (ex-Mayhem) and journalist Dom Lawson. The release will contain special liner-notes written by Jay H. Gorania (Hellbound) and the artwork comes from Drew Elliott, who made a rereading of the cover artwork he did for the first Necrophagia album Season Of The Dead (1987).
The artwork for Here Lies Necrophagia; 35 Years Of Death Metal can be viewed together with the tracklisting and other info below.
Tracklisting:
"Chainsaw Lust"
"Cannibal Holocaust"
"And You Will Live In Terror"
"It Lives In The Woods"
"Blood Freak"
"Embalmed Yet I Breathe"
"Burning Moon Sickness"
"Blaspheme The Body"
"Flowers Of Flesh And Blood"
"Unearthed"
"London (13 Demon Street)"
"Insane For Blood"
" Bleeding Torment"
"Mental Decay"
"Beast With Feral Claws"
"Reborn Through Black Mass"
"Вий"
"Fear The Priest"
Necrophagia was formed in late 1983 by the Godfather of Gore Metal, Killjoy and their debut recording, Season Of The Dead, was unleashed in February 1987. In the same year, the Americans split despite their tremendous impact in the underground death metal scene, which they helped shape. In the middle of the 1990's, horror fan Philip H. Anselmo (Down, ex-Pantera) convinced Killjoy to resurrect Necrophagia and joined the band for the next three releases including their second album Holocausto de la Morte (1998).
The band released two more albums including The Divine Art Of Torture (2003) and several EPs despite undergoing continued lineup changes. Necrophagia's fourth full length Harvest Ritual Vol. 1 (2005) saw some experimentation, while their next eerie incarnation Deathtrip 69 featured more evil movie samples adding to the beloved vintage horror feeling. In 2014, the time came to light the black candles, chant the incantations, and watch the WhiteWorm Cathedral rise which, without anybody knowing, would be the bands’ latest offering, as Killjoy passed away on March 18, 2018.
With this carefully selected compilation, the masters of horror death metal invite you on final time to bang to the Sabbath and raise the dead among us. Amen, Brother Killjoy!

DEVIN TOWNSEND Announces Full Band Lineup For Empath European Tour; Video"There have been only a few times throughout my career that I can safely say I’ve taken a chance as big as I'm about to take with these new touring plans," starts a message from Devin Townsend. "But I believe that to not take a chance on something as important to me as this can only lead to creative stagnation.
"It is with profound gratitude that I can announce this next tour. To be joined by musicians of this caliber, as well as crew and sound design of such a level, is something I am truly humbled by. As one who has been working professionally my whole career to be able to be allowed to pull something like this off, I really can’t say ‘thank you’ enough to everyone involved.
"This is a quantum leap for me, and it’s a situation that I have been very proactive in choosing a group of individuals and setlist for.
"I am thrilled and honoured to be joined on these next tours by drummer Morgan Ågren, guitarist Mike Keneally, Ambient guitarist Markus Reuter, keyboardist Diego Tejeida - d'Tej, singer and guitarist Ché Aimee Dorval, bassist Nathan Navarro, as well as a three person choir comprised of Samantha and Anne Preis, and Arabella Packford.
"This will be without a net. No backing tracks, no clicks, a lot of room for improvisation, and every possible avenue through musicians and production of high caliber for new and interesting things to be possible each night.
"Though this is the first of my upcoming plans for touring, and I don’t want to be limited in the future, my gut feeling is that this will be a truly unique and fascinatingly colourful organization that will yield wonderful things. I truly hope it can be received well enough to be brought to a lot of different territories.
"In a wonderful turn of events, the tour is selling out quickly, so please don’t delay and miss the opportunity to see this unique band.
"Thank you again for allowing me to do these sorts of things. Truly."
Townsend recently released an official video for "Why?", taken from him Empath album, which was released back in March. Check it out below.
Empath is released on Limited 2 CD Digipak (including an entire disc of bonus material), Standard CD Jewelcase, Gatefold 180G 2LP Vinyl + CD + LP-booklet & as digital album. Order here.

JIMMY PAGE: Why LED ZEPPELIN Was The Best Band In The WorldJimmy Page was interviewed for a cover story in the latest issue of Uncut, where he talks about the potential of a LED ZEPPELIN film, career regrets (or not), and carrying on the legacy of ZEPPELIN as the best band in the world.
Speaking to writer Michael Bonner about why he feels no other bands could come close to LED ZEPPELIN, Page said: "It's really hard to say something like that and not sound conceited, but over the years, a lot of other musicians have told me they thought we were the best. I'm not talking about record sales or concert attendance, although I think we can hold our own with anyone. What I mean is: when you talk about a band as a collaborative musical unit, we were the best. I am not talking about one or two genius songwriters, and everyone else tagging along. I am talking about a collection of musicians who are each at the top of their craft in their own right. In LED ZEPPELIN, we were exactly that."
Elaborating on why he previously told interviewer Charlie Rose in 2012 that LED ZEPPELIN was the best band in the world while Robert Plant demurred, Page said: "If you are a young musician and you want to hear how a band works well together, then we're a pretty good blueprint. John [Paul Jones] and me. Robert and me. John Paul Jones and John Bonham. Every combination of the quartet could bring something special. Robert probably said, 'Oh, well, there were a lot of great bands,' to that interviewer because that is the gentlemanly reply. And I agree with him: there's a lot of absolutely fantastic music out there made by lots of different artists. But when you are talking about rock 'n' roll alchemy, I had to say what I thought. We were the best."
To order the latest issue of Uncut online and have it sent to your home, click here.
Last October, LED ZEPPELIN released its first and only official illustrated book, "Led Zeppelin By Led Zeppelin". It was a unique collaboration between Page, Plant and Jones, who gave Reel Art Press unrestricted access to the LED ZEPPELIN archive.
ZEPPELIN last performed in December 2007 in London with drummer Jason Bonham filling in for his late father John Bonham.
"Jimmy Page: The Anthology" is now available to pre-order from JimmyPageAnthology.com. A companion piece to "Jimmy Page By Jimmy Page", the new signed, limited edition documents Page's musical career through selected material from his rich personal archives. The 384-page book sells for around $480 and ships in December from Genesis Publications. 145

EDGE OF PARADISE Premier "Alone" Music VideoEdge Of Paradise will release their new album, Universe, on November 8 via Frontiers Music Srl. Pre-order Universe here, and watch a video for the song, "Alone", below.
Formed by singer/pianist Margarita Monet and guitarist Dave Bates in 2011, the Los Angeles based band has made a name for themselves in the metal scene with the release of well-received independent albums and heavy touring both nationally and internationally. Their new album, and first for Frontiers, Universe, was produced by Mike Plotnikoff (Halestorm, Three Days Grace) and mixed by Jacob Hansen (Amaranthe, Volbeat, Pretty Maids). Universe brings together a symphonic and classic metal approach with more contemporary sounds like industrial and electronic influences.
"With this album, we set out to create something that would transport you to another world, music that transcends time and space and takes you on an epic ride through our 'Universe'! The songs are about shattering your fears, testing your limits, and going after your passions at the speed of light, holding on to our humanity and supporting one another as we enter our insane digital future together. Musically, the songs hit you with a cosmic wall of sound, supersonic energy with massive industrial and symphonic textures. We were very lucky to have the best production team for this album as Mike Plotnikoff and Jacob Hansen helped capture our vision perfectly," says vocalist Margarita Monet.
Coinciding with the release of Universe, Edge Of Paradise is already confirmed to appear as direct support to Sonata Arctica in November - December 2019 on their upcoming European headline run. The band will tour extensively through 2020 in support of the album as well, with more touring announcements imminent.
"We are beyond excited to bring our show to European audiences! The sheer power and energy of these songs are electrifying live and we can't wait to share our 'Universe' with everyone, so come to the show and let's forget the outside world for a moment and get lost in another dimension together," says Monet.

WHO BROUGHT THE DOG - Official Video For "WHO BROUGHT THE DOG" Single From New Album ReleasedIn 2018, The New Black guitarist Fabian "Fabs" Schwarz took a bold step out of his comfort zone by launching a solo project dubbed Who Brought The Dog. The independently released debut album, Welcome To The Man Cave, was a far cry from anything he had recorded before in that he consciously kept his metal roots locked away while experimenting with a rock sound that found its way into the realms of indie, blues, alternative, funk, jazz, punk and even pop. Comfortable as a multi-talented musician and vocalist but concerned about having lyrics of matching calibre, Fabs enlisted the help of Canadian heavy metal journalist, Carl Begai (BraveWords), a partnership that ultimately shaped the musical direction of the album. This collaboration continued through 2019 as Who Brought The Dog found its footing as a live act with drummer Philipp Klinger and guitarist Benjamin Haupt, resulting in a new and equally schizophrenic album, No World Order. It will be released on October 4th via MDD Records.
Check out the official video for "Who Brought The Dog" below.
Another labour of love for Fabs and Carl, No World Order features 10 songs that follow a similar path to the debut and expand on the Who Brought The Dog sound. Lyrically based in the world of real people and real situations - and in the case of "Who Brought The Dog", a shameless tribute to the project - the songs are based on a solid rock foundation with Fabs building on it in unexpected directions. Combining jazz-oriented grooves with Bollywood soundbytes ("When The World Stops Turning"), an AOR big band vibe ("Saviour To None"), or dance club beats gone rock ("Dark Side Mary"), these are just a few examples of the "no fear" attitude that makes Who Brought The Dog stand out in a cluttered music scene.
Heading into 2020, Who Brought The Dog will take things to the next level with official videos and more live shows. The songs earmarked to bring the Fabs' new music to the world - "Celebretard", "No World Order" and "The Music Man" - showcase various facets of his musical personality, from quirky fun, to straight ahead rock, to provocatively dark. No matter the respective musical direction of the 10 songs on the album, however, there is never a dull moment.
As cliché as it sounds, it's best to go into No World Order expecting the unexpected, which is what the world needs right now.

ABBATH Releases Music Video For 'Hecate'Norwegian black metal titans ABBATH, the solo project of former IMMORTAL frontman Abbath (real name Olve Eikemo), have released the official music video for the song "Hecate", taken from the band's latest full length, "Outstrider". The clip was shot by Francisco Munoz and can be seen below.
The video release comes ahead of ABBATH's North American co-headliner with OBITUARY, which kicks off this Friday, September 27, in Baton Rogue, Louisiana. The trek will conclude on October 22 in Lexington, Kentucky.
"Outstrider" was released in July via Season Of Mist. The disc was recorded at Dub Studios in Kristiansand, Norway with producer Endre Kirkesola, who has previously worked with BLOOD RED THRONE, GREEN CARNATION, SIRENIA and IN VAIN, among others.
When Abbath announced that he had left IMMORTAL, it sent massive shockwaves through the metal scene. The iconic frontman had long become the "face" of the Norwegian black scene, his image synonymous with the genre. Upon releasing his debut album with his eponymous new band, ABBATH, in 2016, trve fans were satiated with a dose of icy, blackened fury.
Now, the Norwegian giant returns for round two, armed with a refined lineup and ready to strike with a sophomore effort that is sure to once again exceed the expectations of ABBATH's loyal fanbase. "Outstrider" sees a maturation in sound, delivering a tighter, well-rounded offering from the band as they come into their own identity.
While there are moments that certainly channel the frosty hallmarks of IMMORTAL, there is no danger of ABBATH repeating that formula. ABBATH draws from NWOBM and melodic influences, adding a fresh new flavor to the sound that the band's founder came to define.
"Oustrider" consists of eight, crushing original songs and concludes with a fiery BATHORY cover. The album promises a full-on aural assault from start to finish with frigid riffage and a robust pocket that are layered with vocals from one of the most identifiable voices in black metal. 11

Video Premiere: STEEL PANTHER's 'F**k Everybody'"Fuck Everybody", the new video from California glam metal jokesters STEEL PANTHER, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's fifth studio album, "Heavy Metal Rules", which will be released on September 27. The disc, which is described in a press release as a "heavy metal version of a self-help manual and ultimate party album combined," was once again produced by Jay Ruston, who collaborated with the band on all of its previous recordings, including its latest LP, 2017's "Lower The Bar".
From the opening track "Zebraman" (which is audio taken from the classic film "Heavy Metal Parking Lot") to the emotional album closer "I Ain't Buying What You’re Selling", STEEL PANTHER has created 36 minutes of audio eargasms. Songs like "Let's Get High Tonight", "Fuck Everybody" and "Gods Of Pussy" are destined to become natural additions to the band's setlist. "I'm Not Your Bitch" is an anthem for all acknowledged genders and sexual orientations worldwide.
"Heavy Metal Rules" track listing:
01. Zebraman
02. All I Wanna Do Is Fuck (Myself Tonight)
03. Let's Get High Tonight
04. Always Gonna Be A Ho
05. I'm Not Your Bitch
06. Fuck Everybody
07. Heavy Metal Rules
08. Sneaky Little Bitch
09. Gods Of Pussy
10. I Ain't Buying What You're Selling
STEEL PANTHER will celebrate the release of "Heavy Metal Rules" with a concert at the Whisky A Go Go in West Hollywood, California on September 26.
Singer Michael Starr recently stated about STEEL PANTHER's new LP: "You are gonna love this new group of songs. We have worked extremely hard and it's paid off. Be prepared to have your nuts fucking rocked off. Ladies, get a towel, 'cause your tits are gonna explode and it's gonna get messy. The future is bright!"
Drummer Stix Zadinia said that he was more excited about STEEL PANTHER's upcoming album than he has ever been about any of the group's previous releases. "The riffs are fucking gnarly, dude — gnarly," he said.
STEEL PANTHER specializes in imitating and exaggerating the less flattering aspects of 1980s hair metal, with unrepentantly crude, non-PC sexual content as a favorite lyrical theme.
The group's music has been described as "VAN HALEN meets MÖTLEY CRÜE meets RATT meets 'Wayne's World', complete with operatic shrieks, misogyny, shredding guitar solos and libidinal overdrive."
Eleven years ago, STEEL PANTHER changed its name from METAL SKOOL to its current moniker and shifted the focus of its act from '80s metal covers to originals.
