Listen To New DISTURBED Song 'The Best Ones Lie'DISTURBED's new song "The Best Ones Lie" can be streamed below. It is the third single from the band's upcoming album, "Evolution", which will be released on October 19.
Like 2015's "Immortalized", DISTURBED's new album was recorded at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada with producer Kevin Churko.
In a recent interview with United Rock Nations radio station, DISTURBED singer David Draiman stated about "Evolution": " From a stylistic standpoint, songs like 'Are You Ready', 'Hold On To Memories', 'Already Gone' came about because in a post-'Sound Of Silence' world, we feel very comfortable going in any direction we choose at any given point in time. There are no limitations; there's no specific definition to what we are; and it's given us the confidence to really spread our wings quite a bit. The results are on this record."
He also spoke about his growth as a vocalist, explaining: "It's much easier to learn how to sing classically than it is to learn how to learn sing rock, to be perfectly honest. Achieving the proper technique without having to inject the rasp, the grit into the vocal is far easier than still trying to achieve that and inject the rasp or the grit. It's a very, very delicate technique. When I first trained to sing at all, the stylistically different songs on this album were more of what I sang back in the day. It literally hadn't been until we recorded the cover of 'Sound Of Silence' that I had had my recorded voice played back to me like that. I had never recorded anything that sounded like that."
b>"Immortalized" ended a four-year hiatus for the quartet and was its fifth album to enter the Billboard 200 chart at No. 1.
DISTURBED played a special intimate show this past Wednesday (October 10) at the 1,000-capacity Vic Theatre in Chicago, Illinois, presented by SiriusXM.
The group has only one other show on its schedule so far for the rest of 2018, at the Austin City Limits music festival on October 13 in Austin, Texas.

SOILWORK singer Björn "Speed" Strid told United Rock Nations about the disc. "I'm really, really pleased with it — it's really, really cool. [It's] possibly the most epic and darkest album we've done. And it's also very melancholic, but it's also very sort of uplifting. It's huge. I'm really happy with it."
Asked if the musical direction of the new SOILWORK material is similar to that on the last album, Strid said: "I would say a mixture between 'The Ride Majestic' and [2013's] 'The Living Infinite'."
SOILWORK will embark on an extensive European co-headlining run with labelmates AMORPHIS in January. Support on the trek will come from NAILED TO OBSCURITY and JINJER.
SOILWORK is now a quintet, following the departure of bassist Markus Wibom in late 2016 due to "other commitments." He has since been replaced by touring bassist Taylor Nordberg (THE ABSENCE).
In 2016, SOILWORK released a special collection of rarities titled "Death Resonance" via Nuclear Blast.

DEF LEPPARD's First-Ever Live Album, 'Mirror Ball - Live & More', Certified Gold In U.S.Mailboat Records president Harold Sulman presented DEF LEPPARD with a plaque to commemorate sales of over 500,000 copies of "Mirror Ball - Live & More", the band's first-ever live album. The presentation took place before the second of DEF LEPPARD's two sold-out concerts with JOURNEY at the Forum in Inglewood, California on October 7. The Sunday night concert was also the final date of DEF LEPPARD and JOURNEY's co-headlining 2018 North American tour, which kicked off May 21 and played to more than a million fans.
Released in 2011, "Mirror Ball" included a 50-minute DVD that contained live performances and intimate backstage footage of the band captured on the road. A special limited vinyl edition was also made available.
"Mirror Ball" featured a mix of live DEF LEPPARD classics (recorded throughout the "Songs From The Sparkle Lounge" tour), three brand new studio songs and the aforementioned bonus DVD. "Mirror Ball" featured rock classics such as "Animal", "Pour Some Sugar On Me", "Photograph", "Nine Lives" and "Rock Of Ages". The album also brought together three brand new studio tracks — "Undefeated", "Kings Of The World" and "It's All About Believin'" — taking their place with ease within this classic setlist.
"When we decided to do [the live album], it just got said, I don't know by who, 'Why don't we chuck a couple of new songs on the end?' " frontman Joe Elliott told Billboard. "And that two became three, and in fairness it could've been four if we'd just had a little bit more time."
b>Elliott composed "Undefeated", which he described to Billboard as "a very QUEEN-type vocal thing. It even features piano and stuff." Guitarist Phil Collen's "It's All About Believin'" was "a pop-rock song," while bassist Rick Savage's "Kings Of The World" was "a big, epic, rock anthem — kind of 'We Will Rock You' with guitars, if you like."
"They're all very different to each other," Elliott added. "They don't sound specifically like any previous DEF LEPPARD songs, but they sound like DEF LEPPARD songs. They have to have our identity on them, otherwise they might as well be Tom Waits or R.E.M. We have a signature sound that we're not scared of anymore."

DEVILDRIVER Frontman DEZ FAFARA Celebrates Two Years Of SobrietyDEVILDRIVER and COAL CHAMBER frontman Dez Fafara is celebrating the second anniversary of his getting sober today (Tuesday, October 6). He wrote on his Instagram account: "On 10-9-16, I walked off my bus, down the street to a tattoo joint and got these numbers tattooed on me. I quit ON THE ROAD, with drinkers all around me. I did it for myself for health and the future. I felt no need for AA, but get help however you can. I myself didn't need anyone else but myself, as the struggle was within! Today I celebrate being healthy, dropping almost 31 lbs and waking up feeling amazing!
"If you have a problem drinking or find yourself where I was, which was drinking daily on the road, which meant a life time of 'cocktail' hours, then just KNOW YOU ARE STRONG and you can do anything you put your mind to.
"What a fantastic change it is. I do not miss the taste nor the buzz and, to be honest, I don't miss the bars and the drunk people around me anymore either.
"Make the change, watch the change inspire your life and others around you! #BoozeSucks #2YearsOffBooze #DoItForYou #FuckYesIDidIt" 7

TESSERACT Premier "Juno" Music VideoTesseracT released their new studio album, Sonder, back in April via Kscope. A new video for the album track "Juno" can be found below.
Sonder adds significant firepower to the band's arsenal, blending the harsh abrasiveness of One (2011) and progressive ethereal elements of Altered State (2013) with the accessibility of Polaris (2015). Sonder is streamlined, honest, and direct, with all the trademark TesseracT dreamy atmospherics and bending grooves. Sonder was recorded in the UK at 4D Sounds, Celestial Sounds and Project Studios, and engineered by the band and Aiden O'Brien, with mastering by Acle Kahney and cover artwork designed by Amos Williams.
For audiophiles, TesseracT produced a binaural version, available exclusively as part of the 2-CD version. This version is a 360-listening experience designed by Klang: Fabrik for headphones listening.
Bassist Amos Williams explains, "The concept is to push past the restrictions of a stereo headphone mix and create an accurate '3D' space in which positioning outside of the normal Left Right axis can occur. This is something that every artist that uses in ear monitors on stage wishes to recreate; the real and accurate positioning of instruments. We immediately felt that this technology could be applicable to us in the studio. TesseracT loves to bring what it does in the studio to the stage, but this time it's experimenting with bringing a live element to the studio."
Sonder tracklisting:

"King"
"Orbital"
"Juno"
"Beneath My Skin"
"Mirror Image"

WHITESNAKE Singer DAVID COVERDALE Unboxes Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition 5CD/DVD Collection; VideoThe new video below features Whitesnake singer David Coverdale unboxing his one, and only, copy of Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition. The extensive set will be available on October 19th.
It was the hard rocking sound of hits like “Still Of The Night” and “Give Me All Your Love Tonight” that brought Whitesnake worldwide, multi-platinum success. Even so, the band’s founder and lead singer, David Coverdale has never been a stranger to the occasional ballad, going back to his early days with Deep Purple on “Soldier Of Fortune” and, most famously, with Whitesnake on the 1987 #1 smash hit, “Here I Go Again”.
With the summer tour with Foreigner behind them, the band will revisit some of its best acoustic performances with Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition. This 5 CD/DVD collection brings together unplugged and acoustic-based performances recorded over the past 20+years, including rare and unreleased studio and live recordings, acoustic demos, concert videos, interviews and more. The extensive set will be available on October 19th. On the same day, Rhino will also release Unzipped in three other formats: single-CD, double-CD, and double-LP. All of the music will be available digitally and via streaming services.
The first disc from Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition mixes rare and unreleased versions of songs like “Summer Rain” and “Forevermore” from the band’s recent studio albums - Good To Be Bad (2008) and Forevermore (2011). Also included are songs like “Love Is Blind” from Coverdale’s solo album, Into The Light (2000); and a previously unreleased song, “All The Time In The World”. All 11 tracks are available on the single-CD, double-CD and double-LP versions of Unzipped.
Pre-order here.
In 1997, Coverdale and guitarist Adrian Vandenberg played an unplugged concert in Tokyo that was recorded and initially released exclusively in Japan as Starkers In Tokyo. That recording has been remixedand will make its North American-debut on the second disc of Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition. The acoustic performance touches on the different stages of Coverdale’s career, from his time in Deep Purple (“Soldier of Fortune”), to his solo albums (“Too Many Tears”), and, most famously, with Whitesnake on unplugged versions of hits like “Is This Love” and “Here I Go Again.” These 12 tracks, along with all the music on the single-CD version of Unzipped, will also be available on double-CD, and double-LP.
“Some of my favourite love songs are on disc one of this collection… and I LOVE, love songs,” says Coverdale.“Though reluctant at first to go “Unzipped” in public, the shows I did with Adrian Vandenberg in 1997, and then Doug Aldrich in 2006, were incredibly memorable. Primarily because it gave me an opportunity to be ‘at one’ with the crowd… some songs ask for a softer touch… and those are the songs we have here in this collection.”
Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition has even more of unreleased, unplugged recordings, including more performances from Coverdale’s 1997 tour with Vandenberg, plus several later shows featuring Coverdale and guitarist Doug Aldrich. Plus, more than two dozen of Coverdale’s unreleased, acoustic demos are also included in the collection.
A DVD completes Unzipped: Super Deluxe Edition with live, unplugged performances filmed around the world between 1997 and 2015, including a complete acoustic show recorded at the Cutting Room in New York in 2008. A highlight for U.S. fans will be the North American debut of the 1997 concert video, Starkers In Tokyo, which has been remixed in 5.1 and Stereo exclusively for this new collection. Additional bonus features include an interview with Coverdale and Vandenberg, bootleg videos, the “Love Is Blind” music video and a slideshow.
Coverdale continues, “These songs are some of the most personal I’ve been involved with through my almost five decades as a professional musician, singer and composer…This is me at my most unguarded… innocent… writing, as I still do, for the fun… the expression… the poetry… all LOVE songs.”

BIOHAZARD's BILLY GRAZIADEI To Release BILLYBIO Debut, 'Feed The Fire', In NovemberBILLYBIO, the solo project of BIOHAZARD and POWERFLO guitarist Billy Graziadei, will release its debut album, "Feed The Fire", on November 30 via AFM Records. An animated teaser for the disc is available below.
The official music video for the first single from "Feed The Fire", "Freedoms Never Free", will make its online debut later in the month, just in time for BILLYBIO's tour with fellow New Yorkers LIFE OF AGONY.
"Feed The Fire" can be pre-ordered at this location.
Music has always been the central, unifying force in Graziadei's life. Early musical training took place on the Graziadei family's old, forever out-of-tune upright piano and he began studying music under the guidance of his grandfather and uncle, both of whom he had always admired. So he expanded his musical vocabulary while growing up, finding inspiration in so many forms of music but it wasn't until he stumbled into the underground world of punk-rock music that his musical taste was really sparked into growth.
mmersing himself in the sounds, perspective, and culture of the punk underground, Billy's desire to create new, innovative music led him to the late-'80s hardcore scene in New York City, from Sunday-matinee hardcore shows at CBGBs to Friday-night metal shows at Brooklyn's L'Amour metal/rock club. It was here that he found his musical home and it was here that Billy helped form a band that would take the metal/hardcore scene by storm. It was the birth of BIOHAZARD. As one of the first bands they combined the urban sounds of hardcore, metal and rap with scorching lyrics describing the forces at work in our modern urban lives.
With an audio-engineering degree and years of experience recording BIOHAZARD, Graziadei opened Firewater Studios. This studio became an incubator for Billy's creativity, where he continues to cultivate his talent while producing upcoming bands. During the years of touring with BIOHAZARD, Graziadei collaborated with many different musicians. As a result of this, the friendship with CYPRESS HILL singer Sen Dog turned in 2016 into the supergroup POWERFLO along with bassist Christian Olde Wolbers (ex-FEAR FACTORY) and guitarist Roy Lozano (DOWNSET). While Graziadei continues to work on new POWERFLO songs as he tours around, he decided that the time finally has come for his solo venture.
Billy states: "I've always wanted to do a solo release and the timing of everything that I have been working on just seemed to fall in place.
"I always let the creative juices flow, I don't try and restrict them to fit a certain genre.
"With BILLYBIO, it's 100% me. No influence from anyone else. This is who I am and what I've become. I'm a product of everyone I've met, talked with, shared my stories with… and a bit of their stories as well.
"Anyone who's a fan of what I've done, especially with BIOHAZARD, will love this! There's something there for every fan of heavy underground music!
"I'm psyched to release my new music this fall as BILLYBIO. Launching the band in Europe on tour with my family in LIFE OF AGONY couldn't get any better!"
According to Billy, "Feed The Fire" is "heavy, fast, groovy and full of energy. I couldn't have it any other way," he says. "It's full of my roots but modern."
Producer Tue Madsen, who worked on "Feed The Fire", agrees. "When I was brought in to mix this record, it was with big expectations, and boy, were they met," he says. "These songs keep the energy level so high and have so much to say. Great deliverance, great songwriting and now me mixing the whole thing. I couldn't be happier."

KORN Singer's Wife DEVEN DAVIS Died From Toxic Mix Of Drugs: Coroner's ReportAccording to TMZ, Deven Davis — wife of KORN singer Jonathan Davis — died from the effects of mixing five drugs, including cocaine and heroin. A coroner's report released Wednesday revealed that other drugs found in her system were clonazepam, also known as Klonopin, a tranquilizer used to prevent and treat seizures and panic disorder; topiramate, an anti-epilepsy drug also used to treat migranes; and fluoxetine, the generic form of the antidepressant Prozac.
Deven Davis died on August 17 at the age of 39. The former girl-on-girl porn star reportedly suffered with sobriety and substance abuse throughout her life.
In a statement released via his social media channels, Jonathan called Deven "an amazing wife, amazing mother and amazing friend" who was suffering from "a very serious mental illness."
In 2016, Jonathan, 47, filed for divorce from Deven (citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason) and requested a domestic violence restraining order against her just a few hours before she was found dead in a Bakersfield, California hotel room.
b>Jonathan was reportedly granted a temporary order, which prohibited Deven from visiting their two children or having any contact with the family's dog.
In his declaration, Jonathan claimed Deven has struggled with drug abuse for over 20 years.
The singer alleged Deven was addicted to prescription and illegal narcotics and has been around their children while under the influence.
He also claimed his estranged wife was "constantly under the influence of the nitrous oxide, cocaine and Norco." He said she had monthly prescriptions for nearly 200 Norco pills. Jonathan alleged Deven had a drug dealer boyfriend who supplied her with additional narcotics.
Jonathan alleged he found the boyfriend passed out on the sofa in her living room when he brought the children to her house.
He also claimed he found a heroin pipe and cocaine floating in the toilet bowl while Deven was passed out on the floor upstairs.
According to Jonathan, Deven also battled alcohol and a sex and gambling addiction.
Deven was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence in 2014, and Jonathan said their children were in the car, according to KGET.
After a drug relapse in July, Deven sought treatment at Bakersfield Behavior Health Center. She moved into a sober living home until she checked out August 10 — a week before her body was discovered in a hotel room at the Extended Stay.
After marrying Jonathan in 2004, Deven and the singer had two kids together, Pirate and Zeppelin. (Jonathan's first son from his previous marriage, Nathan, will turn 23 this fall.) 22

VANDALLUS Featuring MIDNIGHT Members Premiere “Infected” SingleUS-based hard rock/metal band Vandallus have released a single for the song "Infected", taken from the album Bad Disease, out on now via Pure Steel Records. The album will be available as CD, DL and limited edition vinyl.
With Shaun Vanek (guitars and vocals), aka Vanik, and Steve Dukuslow (drums) Vandallus from Cleveland, Ohio do indeed feature the core of the mighty Midnight in their ranks. The current line-up is completed by Jason Vanek (vocals, guitar), with Tyler Harvey (Deadiron) on guitar and Tim Frederick (Wretch, Eternal Legacy, Destructor) on bass respectively. Although the band is Jason’s baby, Midnight boss Jamie Walters also contributed a few songs to Vandallus' debut effort On The High Side, which saw the light of day on High Roller Records in 2016.
“Vandallus is a totally different project from Midnight,” states Jason Vanek, “basically the idea came about of recording material in the vein of late 1970s/early 1980s hard rock. I've always wanted to do a project like this, so it came together very quickly.”
“We just wanted to write another batch of great hard rock songs!” comments Vanek on the second full-length Vandallus album Bad Disease. With songs like the uplifting “Heart Attacker”, the infectious speedster “Infected” (sounding very much like 1979 Dokken) and “Trash Talk'n”, a groovy rocker carried by a strong vocal performance, the new album carries on where the critically acclaimed On The High Side has left off.

LAST IN LINE - New Album Complete, First Single Due In NovemberAccording to Def Leppard / former Dio guitarist Vivian Campbell during his weekly radio show on BBC Radio Ulster, his other band Last In Line has completed work on a new album which will be released next year. The first single is due out in November. More details will be revealed soon.
August 15th, 2018 marked the 33rd anniversary of the third Dio album, Sacred Heart, released in 1985. Campbell recently shared his memories of the record.
"I can't believe it's been 33 years since Sacred Heart was released," says Campbell. "To be honest, I don't have many happy memories from the making of this record. On both Holy Diver and Last In Line, there was a real sense of camaraderie in the band and everyone would hang out at the studio, even when we were done with our own parts, just because we were excited to hear every new development - we were all invested.
"On the first two albums I felt like we belonged to a team, but by the time we got to Sacred Heart things were different. Ronnie's mood had darkened considerably following his breakup with Wendy. Furthermore, it had become increasingly clear to me that Wendy (as Ronnie's manager) was determined to separate Ronnie from the band. She didn't see Dio as one creative unit. Ronnie knew better, but I suspect that in an effort to win back Wendy's love he was willing to bend to her whims. Thus began the beginning of the end for the original Dio band.
"When I separate my emotions from it and listen to the album solely on it's musical merit, there are many significant highlights, the title track being perhaps the most impressive. However, listening now after so many years, I can also hear the emergence of more keyboards in the songs and a more polished production - further steps away from the kinetic energy of the original band and the raw appeal of the earlier two albums."

Watch MAYHEM's ATTILA CSIHAR Perform With SINSAENUM In BudapestMAYHEM frontman Attila Csihar joined SINSAENUM on stage on October 10 in Budapest, Hungary to perform a couple of songs. Video footage of his appearance can be seen below.
Csihar sang on SINSAENUM's first album, 2016's "Echoes Of The Tortured", but was absent from the recording sessions for 2017's "Ashes" EP and this year's "Repulsion For Humanity" effort.
SINSAENUM mainman — and DRAGONFORCE bassist — Frédéric Leclercq told Metal Covenant about Attila's lack of involvement with the death metal supergroup: "Well, Attila is not there, because he didn't do the album because he was too busy with MAYHEM, TORMENTOR and SUNN O))) and all his other bands. That's something we made clear, because we could have Photoshopped him in, you know. But that wouldn't have been honest, because when we started recording 'Ashes', we knew that he wouldn't be available. So we were, like, 'Okay. So what are we gonna say?' Because people are very attached to a lineup, you know. So 'Are we gonna try to find an excuse or shall we just say how it is?' and we were, like, 'Maybe that's what we need to do. Just be honest.' So that's the reality. He's too busy, the band carries on, he's still in the band, he just couldn't be there for this one. Actually, he had more time than we thought he would have, so he contributed with some lyrics and did some backing vocals as well. But he was not there when we had to take the pictures. So he's not gonna be on the tour, but the other guys will be, yeah."
In addition to Leclercq (guitar), SINSAENUM features former SLIPKNOT drummer Joey Jordison, Sean Zatorsky (DÅÅTH) on vocals, Stephane Buriez (LOUDBLAST) on guitar, and Heimoth (SETH) on bass.
b>"Repulsion For Humanity" was released in August 10 via earMUSIC. The album was mixed by Francis Caste and features cover artwork by Travis Smith.
SINSAENUM's first album was nominated as "Best Debut" by Metal Hammer Germany and was praised worldwide as one of the freshest and finest approaches to death metal.
Joey told What Culture about the SINSAENUM songwriting process: "Everything is exactly the way we imagined it, with Fred as the primary songwriter. We always entrust in Fred to be the one that brings the main riffs and then we work from there in the studio. It has to feel good to all of us. Our songs have to flow like a river, with different waves, and that's the main thing about SINSAENUM: even though we're, primarily, a black/death metal hybrid, the songwriting comes from rock, thrash, speed metal and death metal. Sometimes I don't think we make death metal or black metal; sometimes I think we’re just SINSAENUM. We are in those genres, but it comes from so many different areas." Frédéric added: "I've always wanted to have a death metal album out. It sounds selfish, but you make music for yourself. I would have chosen to make pop music if I wanted to please the masses, but music is catharsis for us, so SINSAENUM is a necessity."

TONY IOMMI On BLACK SABBATH's Early Days - "When We Wrote Our First Two Songs, 'Wicked World' And 'BLACK SABBATH', I Knew We Were On To Something Really Different"Ahead of Tony Iommi's “A Life In Music” events - taking place at Paisley Town Hall in Paisley, Scotland on Friday, October 12th (7 PM), and at Assembly Rooms in Edinburgh, Scotland on Saturday, October 13th (7 PM) - the Black Sabbath guitar legend spoke with The Sunday Post about Sabbath's early days.
“Bill (Ward, Sabbath drummer) and I lived in Carlisle for a year after joining a band there and we used to play lots of gigs around Dumfries, Edinburgh and places around Scotland,” Tony said. "So when Sabbath started, that’s where we went back to play - we got in touch with the agent and said we had a new band.
“She asked if it was pop music we were playing and I said of course. She heard later we were playing different stuff and she’d received a few complaints.
“We weren’t getting many gigs but we were playing in blues clubs and playing that sort of music. But when we wrote our first two songs, 'Wicked World' and 'Black Sabbath', I knew we were on to something really different. We tried them out in those clubs and people came up to us afterwards and said they really liked them. It was great to get that reaction.
“There were also people who didn’t like them, of course, but we were interested in the ones who did.”

TNT Releases 'Not Feeling Anything' Music VideoNorwegian/Spanish hard rockers TNT have released the official music video for their new single, "Not Feeling Anything". The trackis taken from their latest studio album, "XIII", which came out on June 8 via Frontiers Music Srl.
The aptly titled "XIII" is the band's thirteenth studio album to date and features founding members Ronni Le Tekrø (guitar) and Diesel Dahl (drums) alongside bassist Ove Husemoen, and new vocalist Baol Bardot Bulsara, who replaced Tony Harnell. Baol is a stunning Spanish vocalist whose debut with the band happened in front of 8,000 rabid fans in November 2017 when the band opened for German hard rock legends the SCORPIONS in Oslo, Norway. Not only did Boal survive this trial by fire, but he did so with flying colors. "We found Baol after receiving more than 30 demos from singers all over the world," says Le Tekrø. "We held an audition and Baol convinced us at an early stage. His range and capacity is unbelievable."
The new TNT record features the melodic rock and excellent playing fans have grown accustomed to from the band over its storied career. Ronni continues: "The process of this album was long, but fun in many ways. Tony Harnell was a gentleman and let us use two of the songs we originally co-wrote. We also recorded four songs that we co-wrote with Tim Scott O'Connell (a.k.a. Ledfoot). The lyrical concept on the album is love and understanding, like in many of TNT's lyrics. Although we have an explosive band name, we wanna try to give people some hope with our music. Musically, the album gives me great feelings. It's been a long time since I've had such sentiment. I'm proud of this whole album. Good analog shit!"
"XIII" track listing:
1. We're Gonna Make It
02. Not Feeling Anything
03. Fair Warning
04. It's Electric
05. Where You Belong
06. Can't Breathe Anymore
07. Get Ready For Some Hard Rock
08. People, Come Together
09. Tears In My Eyes
10. 17th Of May
11. Catch A Wave
12. Sunshine
TNT announced in October 2017 that it was once again parting ways with Tony Harnell.
Harnell rejoined TNT in May 2016, less than a year and a half after his previous departure from the group.
Tony previously quit TNT in January 2015 after a 15-month stint with the band.
British singer Tony Mills appeared on three studio albums from TNT: 2007's "The New Territory", 2008's"Atlantis" and 2010's "A Farewell To Arms".

DISTURBED Performs 'Evolution' Songs Live For First Time At Intimate Chicago Concert (Video)DISTURBED played a special intimate show last night (Wednesday, October 10) at the 1,000-capacity Vic Theatre in Chicago, Illinois. The concert, which was presented by SiriusXM, saw the live premiere of the first two singles from DISTURBED's upcoming "Evolution" album, "Are You Ready" and "A Reason To Fight", as well as powerful renditions of a dozen or so songs spanning the band's nearly two-decade recording career, including its smash cover of SIMON & GARFUNKEL's "The Sound Of Silence".
The setlist for last night's gig was as follows:
01. Are You Ready (live debut)
02. Prayer
03. The Vengeful One
04. The Game
05. Stupify
06. Liberate
07. Ten Thousand Fists
08. Inside The Fire
09. A Reason To Fight (live debut)
10. The Sound Of Silence (SIMON & GARFUNKEL cover)
11. Indestructible
12. Land Of Confusion (GENESIS cover)
13. Voices
Encore:
4. The Light
15. Stricken
16. Down With The Sickness
DISTURBED has only one other show on its schedule so far for the rest of 2018, at the Austin City Limits music festival on October 13 in Austin, Texas.
"Evolution" will be released on October 19.
2015's "Immortalized" ended a four-year hiatus for the quartet and was its fifth album to enter the Billboard 200 chart at No. 1.
Like "Immortalized", DISTURBED's new album was recorded at The Hideout Recording Studio in Las Vegas, Nevada with producer Kevin Churko.
I had never recorded anything that sounded like that." 2

CRYPTOPSY: 'Fear His Displeasure' Lyric VideoThe official lyric video for the song "Fear His Displeasure" from Canadian extreme metal veterans CRYPTOPSY can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's forthcoming EP, "The Book Of Suffering - Tome II", which will be released on October 26. The cover art was created by Remy C. from Headsplit Designs and can be seen below. The effort was produced, mixed and mastered by Donaldson at The Grid studio in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
CRYPTOPSY is something of an enigma. Having gotten its start way back in '92, only a few short years after the birth of death metal, the band, nearly thirty years later, continues to out-brutalize bands half its age. That is some serious intestinal fortitude.
Much like 2015's critically acclaimed "The Book Of Suffering - Tome I", "Tome II" promises an inhuman musical journey that once again defies the universal laws of gravity, rhythm, vibration, polarity, and chaos. Almost unbelievably, "Tome II" amps up the chaos, delivering an even more ferocious- and superior-sounding experience, thanks in part to the knob-twiddling magic of longtime guitarist Christian Donaldson.
Pre-orders for "The Book Of Suffering - Tome II" are available now via CRYPTOPSY's Bandcamp page as well as on iTunes. Upon pre-order, fans will receive a digital single of "Sire Of Sin".

BLESSTHEFALL Releases 'Wishful Sinking' VideoBLESSTHEFALL's video for the song "Wishful Sinking" can be seen below. The clip, which is bathed in purple tones, pulsates with the band's performance energy.
Frontman Beau Bokan said: "'Wishful Sinking' is a particularly special song, because it was the first one we wrote with our producer Tyler Smyth. For us, the song is a perfect blend of our new direction and old BLESSTHEFALL. With the music video, we wanted to incorporate some amazing visuals and keep the aesthetic of the album. I think we nailed it."
"Wishful Sinking" is taken from BLESSTHEFALL's latest album, "Hard Feelings", which was released on March 23 via Rise Records. The disc was produced by Tyler Smyth, with additional production by Matt Good and Howard Benson.
Bokan told Upset magazine about the "Hard Feelings" album title: "Once all the songs started coming together, we realized how much raw emotion was put into every line. My wife was wearing a hoodie that said 'No Hard Feelings' on it. As I was in the middle of writing, I saw that hoodie and said to myself, 'Nah, fuck that. Hard feelings.' It's pretty random, but it all clicked."
he singer said that the new disc "sounds fresh. It doesn't sound like anything we've done before, but we've managed to keep our integrity. Fans will hear something familiar, but they will also be extremely surprised to hear what we created."
Regarding the decision to sign with Rise, Bokan said: "We were speaking to a few different labels, and frankly, we really didn't know what the future held for us as a band. Our last album was completely neglected. So we were in a scary position. Rise has a grassroots approach to the way they run their label. They don't have 25 employees running around. They have their shit together, and they're hard workers, just like we are."

ACT OF DEFIANCE/Ex-SCAR THE MARTYR Singer HENRY DEREK ELIS: 'Sing For The Dead Man' Video"Sing For The Dead Man", the new video from Henry Derek Elis (a.k.a. Henry Derek Bonner; ACT OF DEFIANCE, SCAR THE MARTYR), can be seen below. The song is taken from Henry's full-length solo debut, "The Devil Is My Friend", which will be released on October 26. Henry Derek Elis sings, plays banjo, mandolin, bass, organ, dobro, classical, baritone, acoustic and electric guitars on the disc, which features contributions from Aubrey Richmond and John Schreffler Jr. (Shooter Jennings), Jarboe (SWANS), Tara Vanflower (LYCIA), Neal Tiemann (DEVILDRIVER) and many more.
In a marked stylistic departure from his persona as frontman for heavier rock acts, Henry has crafted a poetic and deeply personal solo debut, steeped in memories of his childhood in Milledgeville, Georgia, the same place Blind Willie McTell and Flannery O'Connor made their death beds; "the kind of small town with a haunted past that can swallow you up whole if you let it," says Henry.
Dynamic rock arrangements reflect Henry's encyclopedic knowledge of dark folk, classic country, traditional blues and classical music, resulting in an atmospheric, apocalyptic landscape, where lonely sonic highways are littered with the detritus of misfortune and the soft glimmering of something that might be hope.
Henry Derek Elis's origins are about as strange as his career in the music business. Raised by his grandmother, Henry grew up next to Central State Hospital, once known as the largest psychiatric facility in the world. Throughout his childhood, Henry observed the ravages of illness, addiction and suicide first hand.
b>Henry came to prominence upon moving to Atlanta, playing in mostly rock and metal bands before joining THE SWEET MEAT LOVE & HOLY CULT, a folk collective with legendary artist Jarboe (formerly of the influential band SWANS). This inspired him to create acoustic-based folk music under the moniker: TO THE BOY ELIS, a reference from the work of Austrian-born poet Georg Trakl.
Henry moved to Los Angeles and recorded demos with various bands, including members of GORGOROTH, TYPE O NEGATIVE and ANTHRAX. In 2013 he joined the band SCAR THE MARTYR with drummer Joey Jordison of SLIPKNOT fame. After releasing one album on Roadrunner Records, Henry went on to help form the extreme thrash metal band ACT OF DEFIANCE, featuring former members of MEGADETH and SHADOWS FALL.
"The Devil Is My Friend" will be released on October 26. Henry Derek Elis sings, plays banjo, mandolin, bass, organ, dobro, classical, baritone, acoustic and electric guitars.
"The Devil Is My Friend" track listing:
01. No Skin
02. The Devil Is My Friend
03. What's Left of Us
04. Sing For The Dead Man
05. Weeping Willow
06. Corpse Carver
07. If It's Not Too Late

Always an unstoppable force for uniqueness amid a sea of generic swill, Opeth has been setting the rulebook ablaze, and ploughing a uniquely progressive and exploratory furrow for over 25 years now. Neither conforming nor exhibiting any desire to be restricted to a single genre, Opeth, quite simply, has a time honored tradition of blowing our minds with both class and forward thinking. All these years later, nothing and everything has changed once again with their most recent album, Sorceress.
Sorceress was released in September 2016. For the band's first effort for Nuclear Blast via Opeth's imprint label Moderbolaget Records, the group returned to Rockfield Studios in Wales, also home to pivotal releases from Queen, Rush and Judas Priest, where the Swedes had tracked Pale Communion in 2014 with Tom Dalgety.

HALESTORM Release Halloween-Themed Music Video For "Do Not Disturb"Halestorm have premiered a video for “Do Not Disturb”, the second single from their fourth album, Vicious, which debuted at #8 on the US Billboard 200 and main UK Album Chart (as well as #1 US Top Rock Album and Hard Music Album Charts & #1 UK Top Rock & Metal Album Chart). The video was directed by Roboshobo (Ghost’s “Rats” video).
“’Do Not Disturb’ is based off a true story of mine about a very fun night I had overseas that all started with the pickup line, ‘I think we should make out,’” said frontwoman Lzzy Hale. “And since it’s October... the boys and I decided to spooky-up the story with a few…minor exaggerations.”
“Do Not Disturb” follows the first single from Vicious, “Uncomfortable,” which reached #1 on the US Mainstream Rock Chart, Halestorm’s fourth, tying them with The Pretty Reckless for the most #1s by a female or female-led act.
The band recently wrapped up another sold out headline tour of the U.K., including London's O2 Brixton Academy where Live Nation presented the band with commemorative plaques, in honour of selling out every U.K. tour from 2012-2018.
Now on tour across Europe, come November Halestorm will start the third and final leg of their all female-led US tour with In This Moment and New Years Day.

Norway's HOLTER Streaming New Song "Worlds On Fire""Worlds On Fire", the opening song of Holter's new album, Vlad The Impaler, is available for streaming below. The album will be released on November 9th, and can be pre-ordered on CD/LP/Digital here. An exclusive limited edition version is available on 180g red vinyl here.
Born as a one-off musical extravaganza between two Norwegian metal and hard rock giants, Trond Holter (ex-Wig Wam) and vocalist Jorn Lande, the Dracula Rock Opera has now morphed into a full-time musical project with guitarist, producer, and songwriter Trond Holter at the helm.
While the original plan was to leave Swing Of Death as a unique one-off recording, the success Trond had staging the album as a musical in front of audiences in Norwegian theaters convinced him that a follow up was not only possible, but maybe even mandatory. He was sitting on plenty of material anyway and felt inspired to tell the stories of Dracula and other vampires that did not find a home on the debut album's storyline.
"The first round of the Dracula Rock Opera was, in terms of live shows, only half the story with about 45 minutes of music. So, I added some additional songs for the live shows in Norway, which completed the story,” tells Trond Holter. "It was my intention all along to make this into a big show, even if it took some years to complete. When I started working on the songs for the new album, I found parts of them were outdated, so I rewrote parts of them and that inspired me to write new songs as well. It's a bit hard for me to say being so close to the material, but it's a few steps up the ladder sound wise. You can easily recognize the spirit of the first album, only with more energy. The "Vlad the Impaler" album was made to fill out the musicals being performed for the first album, so it is in fact pretty much the sophomore album from Dracula."
The result of this new inspiration is Vlad The Impaler. Vlad, also known as Vlad Dracula, was Voivode (or prince) of Wallachia three times and is the historical figure that inspired the famous legends about Dracula.
With an outstanding lineup featuring singers Nils K Rue (Pagan's Mind) and Eva Iselin Erichsen, Bernt Jansen on bass, Per Morten Bergseth on drums, and Erling Henanger on keyboards, Vlad The Impaler starts where Swing Of Death left off. Musically, it is an album that gets straight to the point while simultaneously utilizing diverse musical landscapes and includes catchy and melodic songs in a similar style to it's predecessor. Think Savatage meets Meat Loaf meets Queen meets Alice Cooper with contemporary hard rock in the mix and you'll have a sense of what's in store.
"We all know Nils K Rue's great work with Pagan's Mind. The vocals and theatrics he delivers both live and on record are simply amazing! And the higher he gets, the better he sounds!! I came across Eva Iselin Erichsen in 2016 and later, when I got the chance to have her audition, I was blown away. She's all over the place, live and on record, giving everything that she's got. She is an amazing singer and a real star in the making. We are ready to take the whole Rock Opera live across the European continent!” concludes Trond.
The album will be presented in the live setting in Halden, Norway with a special release show on November 10th. More shows are in the works including an appearance in spring at Karmøygeddon Festival (May 3rd. 2019).

TERRORIZER – Caustic Attack Album Streaming In FullCaustic Attack, the imminent new full-length from long-running American grindcore unit Terrorizer, is streaming in its inexorable entirety. Slated to drop worldwide via The End Records October 12th, the band's first studio offering in six years was produced by Jason Suecof (Deicide, All That Remains, Kataklysm, Battlecross) at Audiohammer Studios in Sanford, Florida and features the apocalyptic cover art of Timbul Cahyono (Rotting Corpse, Pyrexia).
Before Pete Sandoval recorded Morbid Angel’s first album, 1989’s Altars Of Madness, he performed on two demos and a split album with his original band Terrorizer. Today, the group’s 1989 full-length debut World Downfall is still considered a pinnacle for death metal and grindcore, featuring impossibly fast blast-beats and double-bass drumming along with a blitzkrieg attack by late guitarist Jesse Pintado (Napalm Death), and ex-vocalist Oscar Garcia (Nausea). The 1989 lineup was rounded out by Sandoval and then-fellow Morbid Angel bandmate David Vincent on bass.
Over the next twenty-three years, Sandoval took time between Morbid Angel albums to continue working with Terrorizer, recording two more cataclysmic full-lengths, 2006’s Darker Days Ahead and 2012’s Hordes Of Zombies. And now, another six years down the burning highway, Terrorizer is back with Caustic Attack, their heaviest and most eclectic album to date.
Terrorizer started working on Caustic Attack in 2014, but before they could lay down a single bar of music, Sandoval had to make sure he was healthy enough to work on a new album - which was far from a sure thing. Rewind to 2009 when Sandoval’s suffered a severe back injury caused by decades of Olympic-class death metal drumming. After seeing different doctors and exploring his options, Sandoval opted for invasive surgery to repair the deteriorated discs between interlocking vertebrae in his spine.
By 2013, Sandoval was feeling pretty good, so he got together with multi-instrumentalist Lee Harrison, who played on Malevolent Creation’s 1989 demo a year before giving birth to metal veterans Monstrosity, which have released five full-length albums to date. In 2007, Lee joined up with fabled Crimson Glory singer, Midnight, with whom he worked until the vocalist died in 2009. Lee has also played guitar with Obituary on tour in South America in 2012. Now, he’s deadly serious about his role in Terrorizer, but at first playing with Sandoval was more like a hobby.
“We started playing some songs just for fun,” Sandoval explains. “We did some of the World Downfall songs, and then we learned a few cover songs and we did our first show as a party. That’s how everything started.”
Feeling confident and comfortable again behind the kit, Sandoval invited Sam Molina, who played with Harrison in Monstrosity, to join them on bass, and the trio started working on songs for Caustic Attack. A violently explosive album for increasingly turbulent times, Caustic Attack is the sound of a world nearing apocalypse. The songs conjure images of warplanes on bombing runs, giant tanks obliterating small villages and the endless rattle of machine guns mowing down everyone in sight.
Sandoval has long been known as one of the fastest players in death metal - the pioneer of blast beats - and he doesn’t hold back on Caustic Attack. At the same time, even the fastest songs are tighter and more precise than Terrorizer have ever been thanks to veteran producer Jason Suecof, who’s painstaking method of recording showcases Sandoval and his team at peak capacity.
The proof is in the pummeling. There are flesh-shredding grindfests like "Turbulence," "Caustic Attack," and "Poison Gas Tsunami," each of which swoops down, destroys, and depart in under-two-minutes. Then, there are the nearly five-minute-long tracks, including "Infiltration" - which slows to a thunderous breakdown before ramping back up to hyper-speed - and "Wasteland," a global conflagration with undeniable guitar hooks and a lethal mid-song chug that reveals previously unexplored diversity and depth.
Now that Sandoval is devoting all his time and effort to Terrorizer (he left Morbid Angel in 2013), he plans to tour extensively and then record another album. The six-year curse is officially broken. “It feels so great to be back playing every day,” Sandoval says. “I worked really hard on my recovery and all that work is really paying off now because when I play these songs I feel the same way I did in 1990 or 2000. I feel young again and I can play with no problem. And that’s hard to do because this new album has a lot of changes, double-bass, fast blast beats. You name it.” [words by Jon Wiederhorn]
