Norwegian black/thrash metallers Nocturnal Breed have signed a deal with German scene label Folter Records. The band, founded back in 1996, has also announced further details about upcoming releases. The first three and long-time-sold-out albums will be re-released on vinyl via Folter Records:

The Tools of the Trade (2000)

Furthermore, the label will release the German version of Nocturnal Breed’s collector album Whiskey Tapes. A Columbian version is available now, Mexico and Poland will follow soon as well. The albums contains 12 unreleased songs and four exclusive songs per country.

Leaves' Eyes have announced their second collaboration with choir ensemble London Voices (The Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Hobbit, Harry Potter and Interstellar) for the upcoming album, following their successful collaboration together on 2015’s King Of Kings.

SEVENDUST frontman Lajon Witherspoon has released his debut solo single titled "Love Song". He stated about the track, which is available via all digital music retailers: "I think it resonates with what's going on in the world today."

Witherspoon has been talking about pursuing a solo project for at least the past four years. He told Alternative Addiction in a 2013 interview that his solo material would be a departure from the sound SEVENDUST fans have come to expect from him.

"When I sing and people hear my voice, I have to believe they'll compare it to SEVENDUST, which I don't mind, because that's where my roots are," he said. "But I think my stuff will definitely have rock and a lot more soul. SEVENDUST has a groove, but I think I'll be a little bit different."

SEVENDUST will enter the studio this fall to record the follow-up to 2015's "Kill The Flaw" album for an early 2018 release. The disc will be produced by Michael "Elvis" Baskette, who has previously worked with ALTER BRIDGE and SLASH, among others.

SEVENDUST last year received its first-ever Grammy nomination after two decades together as a band. "Thank You", the debut single from "Kill The Flaw", got the nod for "Best Metal Performance".

EPICA has just launched the North American leg of "The Ultimate Principle" tour with support from LACUNA COIL.

EPICA's new EP, "The Solace System", was released on September 1 via Nuclear Blast.

With their latest masterpiece, EPICA set new standards. 2016's "The Holographic Principle" is the most epochal, multi-layered, courageous and successful record of the band, reaching Top 10 chart position entries in the German, Dutch and Swiss album charts. Accordingly, all the tracks written for the album process are high quality, but not all songs have been put on the album. "This is only based on the fact that the record should not exceed seventy-six minutes," explained guitarist/vocalist Mark Jansen. Since the band didn't like the idea of a double CD, they finally decided to release an EP with six brand-new numbers, which were created during the creative phase of "The Holographic Principle".

"The Solace System" was recorded, mixed and mastered by Joost van den Broek and Jacob Hansen.

EPICA vocalist Simone Simons commented on the EP: "During the early writing process of 'The Holographic Principle', we found out that we were blessed with a huge amount of songs. The songs that didn't fit on our album are now available for you on this special EP! I hope you guys will enjoy these songs as much as we do!"

METALLICA's "WorldWired" tour kicked off in Copenhagen and stretches through November. After a break, the trek will pick up again on February 1, 2018 in Lisbon, Portugal, and continue through May, finishing up in Helsinki, Finland.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame band is touring in support of its tenth studio album, "Hardwired... To Self-Destruct", which came out last November.

METALLICA recently landed at position No. 1 on Billboard's "Hot Tours" list of top-grossing tours with $49.5 million in ticket sales from the first ten of the shows of the North American "WorldWired" tour that occurred during May and June.

464,988 tickets were sold during the first two months of the run, with Denver's NFL stadium, Sports Authority Field at Mile High, scoring the highest counts in both gross and attendance. A crowd of 51,955 fans attended the event that racked up $5.8 million in sales. Four other NFL stadiums during the first half of the summertime trek also topped the $5 million mark in sales for a single performance: Philadelphia's Lincoln Financial Field ($5.4 million) on May 12, MetLife Stadium ($5.1 million) in the New York City market on May 14, the Boston-area Gillette Stadium ($5.7 million) on May 19, and Chicago's Soldier Field ($5.3 million) on June 18.

The track is taken from the band's long-awaited new studio album, "Stand Your Ground", which was released on August 25 via High Roller Records. The effort, which is almost eighty minutes long, was produced by Bart Gabriel (with whom the band already worked on the previous album, "Land Of The Dead"), recorded and mixed by Kevin Burnes (DOKKEN, RAVEN), and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple Of Disharmony Studio. The release was made available as CD, double LP, and digital download. Like in case of previous two BURNING STARR albums, its cover artwork was painted by Ken — legendary artist known from his iconic works for bands such as RAINBOW, KISS and MANOWAR.

"It's an old-school-type metal album with modern production and great songs," Starr says about "Stand Your Ground". "In my opinion, it is one of the best metal albums in the last twenty years. I think that if we could go back in a time machine and put out this album in 1988, it would sell millions of copies, but even though it is 2017, I think it will still do very well."

Regarding how "Stand Your Ground" compares to its predecessor, 2011's "Land Of The Dead", Starr says: "I think the new one is more diverse and has many more influences and also it is much longer. I think I am playing better guitar solos, Todd Micheal Hall is singing better, Ned Meloni on bass is playing the best of his career and the comparison that comes to my mind is Steve Harris. Ned is playing with passion and speed like Steve Harris and also getting a great sound like Steve Harris. And as far as Rhino, there is nothing to say because he always plays great and this album is a continuation of this incredible drumming style that he as perfected.

"My favorite song on the album is 'Stand Your Ground', the title cut, I have played this one for a few people and the reaction has always been the same. It seems that the listener is very surprised that even though the song is eleven minutes long, it passes very quickly and is not repetitious. 'Stand Your Ground' has so many twists and turns and changes within the same song, it is like a mini symphony!"

JACK STARR'S BURNING STARR was formed in 1985 by and founding member of VIRGIN STEELE, Jack Starr. After releasing four albums in the '80s — "Rock The American Way" (1985), "No Turning Back!" (1986), "Blaze Of Glory" (1987) and the self-titled one (so-called "orange album" from 1989) — the band returned with a new lineup featuring Starr, Ned Meloni (bass; JOE LYNN TURNER, DEVIL CHILDE, PHANTOM LORD), Kenny "Rhino" Earl (drums, MANOWAR, ROSS THE BOSS) and Todd Michael Hall (vocals; RIOT V), and released the well-received comeback album titled "Defiance" in 2009. Two years later, the band released their next studio album, titled "Land Of The Dead", which was met with great reviews by critics and fans alike.

Cult Swedish metal band ICE AGE will release its long-awaited debut album, "Breaking The Ice", on October 21 via GMR/PHD. The disc, which was laid down at Gothenburg Rock Studios, features re-recorded versions of five classic songs from the original demos plus five brand new songs.

As one of the more acclaimed thrash bands in Europe during the 1980s, it was nothing short of criminal that the all-female lineup ICE AGE never got to release any material except via their classic demo tapes.

ICE AGE's current line up consists of original members Sabrina Kihlstrand (rhythm guitar and vocals) and Viktoria Larsson (bass), alongside André Holmqvist (drums) and Linnéa Landstedt (lead guitar) ICE AGE, from Gothenburg in Sweden, was formed in January 1985 by Kihlstrand and Pia Nyström, who met through an ad in a music store. The band lineup was completed with Sabrina's sister, Helena, and Tina Strömberg behind the drums.

During the band's early stages, they were more power metal-oriented, and this sound fed through their first demo, "Rock Solid", (which was the band's original short-lived name before changing to ICE AGE — something more akin with their origins in the cold winters of Scandinavia).

There then came the first of the band's lineup changes when Helena passed over her bass duties to Larsson at the end of 1986.

Their sound gradually became more raw, which distanced them from the more standard metal riffs of IRON MAIDEN and QUEENSRŸCHE, and more towards the thrash style of early MEGADETH and METALLICA.

ICE AGE played very technical thrash, which can be heard in their demos "General Alert" (1987) and another that was untitled (1988).

The band toured in several countries and played many festivals, including the well-known Open Air in Lamone, Switzerland, in front of five thousand people. They also played the legendary Marquee club in London.

The four Swedes gradually gained more and more popularity, which surged after the recording of their next demo, "Instant Justice", in 1989.

Midway through their next tour came a major problem though: vocalist Sabrina left the band due to irreconcilable problems with the band's then-manager.

Curiously, it wasn't one but two new members that replaced her: the Italian guitarist Isabella Fronzoni and American Debbie Gunn on vocals. This lineup existed only for six months and yet again, problems with the bands then-manager were too difficult to repair.

Finally, ICE AGE split in 1990 after having sold thousands of copies of their demos.

Over the years the interest from fans worldwide has remained, and although ICE AGE may have long been split, they have not been forgotten.

LACUNA COIL has joined Dutch symphonic metal giants EPICA on the North American leg of the band's "The Ultimate Principle" tour. The month-long September trek marks the band's first U.S. tour dates in over a year, as they continue to support "Delirium". Joining LACUNA COIL and EPICA on "The Ultimate Principle" tour are INSOMNIUM and ELANTRIS.

LACUNA COIL's Andrea Ferro recently told the Impact metal channel that the band's fans will have to wait at least a couple of years for the follow-up to 2016's "Delirium". "Next year's gonna be twenty years of LACUNA COIL, so first we're preparing some surprises for next year, and then after that maybe we'll start working on a new record," he said. "So I don't think there will be a new record at least until 2019."

LACUNA COIL's Cristina Scabbia and Ferro revealed to the Brazilian metal channel Heavy Talk earlier in the year that they were planning "something special" to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the release of their self-titled debut EP.

LACUNA COIL in December released a new song called "Naughty Christmas". The front cover and font were all created by bassist Marco "Maki" Coti-Zelati. "Delirium" entered The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 33 with first-week sales of just over 13,000 units — nearly all from pure album sales. The set followed the No. 27-peaking "Broken Crown Halo", which also opened with around 13,000 copies back in 2014.

The 2017 North American leg of GUNS N' ROSES' "Not In This Lifetime" tour kicked off July 27 in St. Louis, Missouri.

The "Not In This Lifetime" tour features classic GUNS members Slash on guitar, Duff McKagan on bass and Axl Rose on vocals, backed by drummer Frank Ferrer, guitarist Richard Fortus, keyboardist Dizzy Reed and second keyboardist Melissa Reese.

GUNS kicked off its long-rumored and long-awaited reunion trek in April 2016 with a club show in Hollywood and appearances in Las Vegas and at California's Coachella festival.

GUNS N' ROSES recently made Forbes magazine's "Celebrity 100" list of the world's top-earning entertainers for the first time. The band landed at No. 12 with earnings of $84 million in the past twelve months, before taxes and fees for managers.

Last summer's North American leg, which featured 25 stadium shows in 21 cities, grossed a whopping $116.8 million with over one million tickets sold.

Chester Bennington's former bandmates from GREY DAZE and DEAD BY SUNRISE played a three-song acoustic set on Saturday, September 2 at Saxe Theater in Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas during a memorial event for the late LINKIN PARK singer, who passed away in July.

Amir Derakh, Mace Beyers and Ryan Shuck performed the songs "Morning After" (DEAD BY SUNRISE), "The Down Syndrome" (GREY DAZE) and "Let Down" (DEAD BY SUNRISE) at the complimentary memorial fundraising event, which was organized by Club Tattoo and hosted by KYFI 550 radio personality Gregg Paul.

Bennington and his partners opened the first Club Tattoo in Phoenix more than two decades years ago and expanded with at least three more in Arizona. They also opened a Club Tattoo location in Planet Hollywood's Miracle Mile in Las Vegas.

Bennington was found dead in his Los Angeles-area home on July 20. The singer committed suicide by hanging himself.

Bennington's private funeral service took place on July 29 near his home in Palos Verdes, California. It was attended by five hundred guests, including members of all three bands he sang in: LINKIN PARK, STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and DEAD BY SUNRISE.

LINKIN PARK canceled all plans for the immediate future, including a North American tour.

ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian joined CHEAP TRICK on stage at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California to perform the latter band's classic songs "Surrender" and "Auf Wiedersehen".

CHEAP TRICK was playing the track "Dream Police" at the August 30 concert when guitarist Rick Nielsen spotted Ian in the audience and motioned for him to come up on stage. At the song's conclusion, Rick extended his arm and offered Scott a hand to grasp so that he could join Nielsen and his bandmates for a brief performance.

This is not the first time Ian has shared the stage with the the legendary rockers. Last October, he got to live out a dream when he performed the track "Auf Wiedersehen" with CHEAP TRICK at the at the Louder Than Life festival in Lousville, Kentucky.

More recently, ANTHRAX singer Joey Belladonna joined CHEAP TRICK on stage on July 11 at Lakeview Amphitheater in Syracuse, New York to perform "Surrender".

ANTHRAX recorded a version of "Auf Wiedersehen" in 1992 during the sessions for the "Sound Of White Noise" album. They also covered CHEAP TRICK's "Big Eyes" on the "Anthems" EP, which came out in 2013.

"We were toying around with the idea of doing a CHEAP TRICK song, and 'Big Eyes' was one of our favorites," ANTHRAX drummer Charlie Benante stated at the time of the EP's release. "We recorded it, but then got busy with other things, so we never finished it. What happened was, Joey was out in L.A. doing vocals for the EP and Jay Ruston [co-producer] pulled 'Big Eyes' up and had Joey do the vocals, something we didn't know he was going to do. But it turned out so great. Joey's vocals are so amazing, so we knew we wanted the song on the EP. After Joey's vocals, all the song needed was a guitar lead, and I did that in my Chicago studio. I think the song turned out to be one of the best songs on the EP.

"Everyone in the band is a huge CHEAP TRICK fan. They were one of the first concerts I went to, probably in 1978 when I was living in New York. I saw them at the Palladium."

ANTHRAX is continuing to tour in support of its latest album, 2016's "For All Kings", which sold 34,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition" will be available on October 6 for $49.98. The 4-CD/DVD collection includes the original album with newly remastered sound, unreleased live and studio recordings, classic music videos, concert footage, a thirty-minute documentary, featuring a new interview with David Coverdale, WHITESNAKE's founder and lead singer. The music comes with a sixty-page hardbound book that's filled with rare and unseen photos from the era, an extended essay based on new interviews with Coverdale, plus a booklet of the album's lyrics, handwritten by Coverdale. This also marks the first release under a newly signed catalog deal with WHITESNAKE and Rhino Entertainment, the catalog division of Warner Music Group. This new deal includes both the North American and Japanese rights, marking the first time a substantial amount of the WHITESNAKE catalog will reside under Warner Music Group worldwide.

"It gives me great joy to finally have so much of my WHITESNAKE catalog all under the same roof with the Warner family and I'm thrilled to be now working with this tremendous team on a worldwide basis," says Coverdale. "I have great memories of being with Warner back in my days with DEEP PURPLE. Then when I was with Geffen, they were distributed by Warner, so it feels like coming home to now have WHITESNAKE there. This elaborate reissue is the perfect project to kick off the new relationship."

Soon after its release in April 1987, "Whitesnake" became a huge success around the world, selling multi million copies. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard album chart and spawned four popular singles: "Still Of The Night", "Give Me All Your Love", "Is This Love" (which reached #2) and the #1 hit "Here I Go Again".

"Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition" comes with an entire disc of unreleased live performances featuring Adrian Vandenberg, Vivian Campbell and Tommy Aldridge, recorded during the band's 1987-88 tour. The music includes live versions of several tracks from "1987", plus WHITESNAKE classics "Slide It In", "Love Ain't No Stranger" and "Slow An' Easy".

An additional disc spotlights the creative process behind "Whitesnake" with a selection of elevent unreleased demo and rehearsal recordings, including early versions of nearly every song on the album called "87 Evolutions". The final disc introduces newly remixed versions the album's four singles, and includes rare radio mixes, as well as songs from "87 Versions", an EP released exclusively in Japan.

The DVD from "Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition" includes music videos for the four singles, all of which have been carefully restored and remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound for the first time ever. In addition, the DVD also features a new thirty-minute documentary about the making of "Whitesnake", a new promo video made especially for this set of the 1988 version of "Here I Go Again" and unreleased live footage from the 1987-88 tour.

According to Billboard, a WHITESNAKE home video will follow on Record Store Black Friday (November 24) as well as a coffee table book chronicling "The Purple Album" cycle from 2015. An all-new WHITESNAKE studio album is planned for 2018, along with a world tour.

"It was a lot of fun to do," Coverdale told Billboard of the "Whitesnake" reissue, "because I don't go back a lot. I kind of learn from the past to apply those lessons to the future and the present. But my gratitude for (the album) is beyond words. I've only ever gone into a studio to try to improve on the last record...There was no, 'Right, I'm gonna sell thirty-odd million fucking records!' It was amazing, just amazing, so it's great to revisit all of this."

Coverdale also revealed that he has been getting together with WHITESNAKE guitarists Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra for regular writing sessions for a new album that will lively arrive late spring of 2018. "I'm actually very excited about it because it's the first opportunity both Reb and Joel and I have actually had to sit down and write together," Coverdale said of what will be WHITESNAKE's first set of original material since 2011's "Forevermore". "There's a lot of what one would refer to as arena rock; Reb and I were talking the other night over dinner and he said, 'Man, there's so many songs here that no matter where we play — Portugal or Brazil or Tokyo — they're gonna get this hook. They're gonna be punching the fuckin' air and have a great night.' And I went, 'Oh, absolutely — and more than usual,' which is great. I can't do throwaway shit. The only reason I'm doing this record are the songs are gonna be a great WHITESNAKE album for WHITESNAKE fans — and the band. It's very exciting."

Epica have released this unboxing video for The Holographic Principle - The Ultimate Edition, included in the box set edition of The Solace System EP, out now via Nuclear Blast.

The band recently premiered a video for their new song, “Immortal Melancholy”, featured on The Solace System EP. The animated video was created/produced by anime-master Davide Cilloni, and follows his previous video for Epica’s masterful title track, “The Solace System”.

With their latest masterpiece, Epica set new standards. 2016’s The Holographic Principle is the most epochal, multi-layered, courageous and successful record of the band, reaching top 10 chart position entries in the German, Dutch and Swiss album charts. Accordingly, all the tracks written for the album process are high-quality, but not all songs have been put on the album. "This is only based on the fact that the record should not exceed 76 minutes," explains Mark Jansen.

Since the band didn’t like the idea of a double CD, they finally decided to release an EP with six brand-new numbers, which were created during the creative phase of The Holographic Principle.

Mark Jansen about the songs: "The listeners can expect a high-quality EP - with songs that are far too good to use them only as bonus tracks. We wanted to publish these songs together in a context. It is always hard to decide at the end of a recording process which songs will be on the album, because this means that you have to miss some songs with best quality, just because they do not fit quite well into the overall flow of the record or because there are other songs that are more suited to the lyrics.”

So much the better then that Epica have chosen to publish those songs in an EP. Due to this EP, no one has to miss these damn strong songs that, just like the album, consist from a contrasting versatility, equally opulent, bombastic moments, as well as filigree emotionality.

In late October, DELAIN will embark on the "Danse Macabre" tour, featuring special guest and frequent collaborator Marco Hietala from NIGHTWISH on all dates. SERENITY and CELLAR DARLING will provide support. DELAIN will follow the "Danse Macabre" tour with a string of dates in South America in late 2017 and a full North American tour with KAMELOT and BATTLE BEAST in the spring of 2018.

STRYPER has denied that Tim Gaines's recent divorce was the reason for his exit from the band.

After months of rumors, the bassist confirmed his departure from the openly Christian group late last month, telling KNAC.COM: "I am officially no longer a member of the band. It's been out there for about a year now that things have been going sour. It hasn't been officially said by either myself or the band, but, yeah, I'm no longer working with them."

Tim claimed that "all hell broke loose" after he "ended up getting a divorce, which is taboo as far as Christianity, I guess." He added: "I'm not the only guy in STRYPER to have gotten a divorce. Everybody in the band is married to divorced people. And I'm the bad guy, but everybody else has done it too, so? Whatever. Live in glass houses and everything will be exposed at some point or another."

Earlier today, STRYPER frontman Michael Sweet posted a message on the band's official Facebook page indicating that he, guitarist Oz Fox and drummer Robert Sweet are "so excited to move forward and make the best album" of their thirty-four-year career. He added: "God is good and positivity prevails. We'll stay faithful and keep moving forward no matter what. The best is yet to come."

While answering questions from fans in the comments section below his original post, Sweet confirmed that Gaines is "no longer in the band" and revealed that Tim's replacement will be "someone who is grateful, respectful, courteous, honest, hard-working, talented and blessed to be a part of the team."

Sweet also said that Gaines's divorce was "not the reason" for his departure from STRYPER, claiming that it was a "private matter" which will remain "between the members of the band and not anyone else." He added: "We didn't push Tim out as if he wasn't part of God's plan. His contributions to the band will never be forgotten or ignored. We're going to live life, be happy and answer to our calling. We're also going to record our best album in November."

Michael told the WSOU radio station at the end of last year that STRYPER had "no plans of stopping," despite the latest setback. He explained: "I mean, we had considered it and thought, well, maybe we should, but then we realized, well, that's just fair to us, that's not fair to the fans. So we're gonna continue on for sure."

Sweet also said at the time that it was "probable" that STRYPER would carry on without Gaines, explaining that "if we were to disband or dissolve or stop, it really wouldn't be fair to the fans, it wouldn't be fair to the other guys, and it's important to keep that in mind as well."

The debut re-recordings were mixed by Pete Newdeck (Eden's Curse, Tainted Nation, Grim Reaper) and Mastered by Harry Hess (Harem Scarem).

Coupled with the re-recorded debut album is the Live In Glasgow - Official Bootleg DVD which is the Live With The Curse live album recording show in it's entirety. Filmed at The Classic Grand in Glasgow on November 28th, 2014, the release mark's the band first official live DVD release, albeit in a bootleg form.

"The footage is absolutely excellent,” states bassist Paul Logue. "We did not intend to film a DVD, but the audio recording company brought two cameras along to capture the show and when we saw the results we were really surprised! We put out four videos on You Tube to promote the live album and the fans kept asking to see the full show on DVD. So, here it is! We've called it a 'bootleg' because it wasn't recorded on 6 cameras, e.g one above the drummer and one on the keyboard player - like we would do for a proper DVD release. However, beyond that is looks and sounds great! We WILL do a DVD in the future but in the meantime this give our fans across the world something to enjoy time and time again and it makes 'Revisited' a very special package indeed,” he adds.

Eden's Curse dedicated their re-recording of the Steelheart classic, “We All Die Young” - made famous by the fictional band Steel Dragon in the Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Anniston movie Rock Star - to the band's late guitarist, Kenny Kanowski.

Bassist Paul Logue commented: "Kenny and I talked online around ten years ago when we first recorded the song. He loved our version and I was very fortunate to meet him in person this past April in Milan at the Frontiers Rock Festival. When I introduced myself to him, he immediately knew who I was and the name of the band and gave me a big kiss for recording the song - he was quite a character! I told him we had re-recorded the song for the tenth anniversary and he was really looking forward to hearing the new version. Sadly he never will. Our thoughts and prayers go to Kenny's family and band mates in Steelheart. RIP brother.”

Alter Bridge recently announced their special Royal Albert Hall shows for early October, which sold out extremely fast, followed by additional UK and Ireland shows subsequently. "Last Ride", the new video from DANZIG, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's latest album, "Black Laden Crown", which came out in May via Evilive Records/Nuclear Blast Entertainment.

The "Last Ride" clip, which features an appearance by Diane Foster, was directed by Glenn Danzig, produced by Glenn Danzig and Christopher M. Jimenez and edited by Brian Cox of Flarelight Films.

Pull The Sun In a 2015 interview with Noisey, Glenn Danzig was asked what it is that keeps him coming back to the creative well. He responded: "It's so many different things. There's always stuff to write about, but I think that the whole punk thing helped a lot. If it gets boring, change it, fix it, make it exciting, make it relevant again, and that's what I did without sacrificing the music. That's what I try to do. I try to do stuff where first thing is I'm excited about the record, and then I hope that the people who listen to my music are gonna dig it too. That's pretty much how I go into doing a record, and I don't do a new record until I have stuff to write about it. I don't force myself to do a record. Someone doesn't come to me and say, 'Hey, it's been a year or two since your last record. You've gotta write a record and put one out in a couple of months.' No one comes to me and says that to me."

Asked if that attitude of not forcing the creative process is something that's always been there for him, Danzig said: "Yeah. I mean, I used to do it on a more frequent basis. [Laughs] But I think even back in the MISFITS and SAMHAIN days, I put out a record every two years, I think. The same thing with DANZIG, too, where I put out a record every two years. Later on it became further and further apart, but that's just the way it worked out. I think in between 'Danzig IV' and 'V' was probably a two-year period, and then between 'V' and 'VI' was probably a three-year period. It seems to be now it's gone to four or five. I think one of the things also was for 'Deth Red' we toured a lot over those years. Not two or three months at a time, but we just kept getting offers to go to Europe and then back to America. The record did pretty well for me, especially the way it was received."

Sarke releases their fifth full-length, Viige Urh, on October 13th via Indie Recordings. Well known members of this band include Nocturno Culto (Darkthrone), Sarke (Khold, Tulus), Ander Hunstad (El Caco) and Steinar Gundersen (Satyricon).

"Repent My Sins", the new video from Swedish melodic metal masters NOCTURNAL RITES, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's long-awaited comeback album, "Phoenix", whch will be released on September 29 via AFM. The effort will be made available as a CD, digipak, on clear/blue/black marbled vinyl (limited to 250 units) and clear orange vinyl (limited to 250 units).

NOCTURNAL RITES previously announced plans to enter the studio in 2011 to record the follow-up to 2007's "The 8th Sin" album.

Guitarist Nils Norberg left NOCTURNAL RITES in June 2008 and was later replaced by Christoffer Rörland. As of 2012, Rörland became the new guitarist in SABATON, while his spot in NOCTURNAL RITES was taken over by Per Nilsson.

"The 8th Sin" in 2007 landed on the Japanese album chart at position No. 68 (No. 28 on "international" chart).
