After more than a decade apart, Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis reunited in 2016 under the L.A. GUNS banner and released arguably the most critically praised album of their catalog, "The Missing Peace".

With a newfound energy and the enthusiasm of the then-imminent release of "The Missing Peace", L.A. GUNS stormed onto the stage in Milan, Italy for the 2017 edition of the Frontiers Rock Festival and took absolutely no prisoners, packing the set front to back with stone-cold classics and soon-to-be classics. This once-in-a-lifetime performance was recorded and will be released on March 23 as "Made In Milan" on CD, DVD and Blu-ray formats via Frontiers Music Srl.

Prior to "The Missing Peace", the last time Lewis and Guns joined forces was back in 2000 with legendary producer Andy Johns for the making of what would become "Waking The Dead".

Speaking with Express & Star, Tracii said: "With Phil and I in particular, we have a certain chemistry that's undeniable. And, you know, when you're at your loneliest, you wanna go home, right? So, we both felt like it was time to go home and be comfortable with that undeniable relationship that we have musically. I mean, right away, the first time we got back together and played, you know, it's so obvious, you can't deny it. At some point in your life, you can't deny what's real."

Regarding the sound of the new L.A. GUNS material, Tracii said: "Phil's vocal style and his way of writing kind of offsets that balance of the heavy music, that's something that's possibly more mainstream or identifiable, so there's a lot of, you know, kind of typical sleazy L.A. GUNS, high-energy riff rock. There's a little bit of sloppy New Orleans, kind of sweaty, kind of bluesier stuff too. It's a big record."

L.A. GUNS' present lineup is rounded out by Shane Fitzgibbon on drums and Johnny Martin on bass with Michael Grant on guitar as a touring member.

On the topic of the decision to use the L.A. GUNS moniker for the new album, Guns told LA Weekly: "When you put Phil and I together, that's the sound of L.A. GUNS. There's no way around that. As much as I love certain other [former] members of the band, it's hard to say what their contribution to the overall sound of the band was — but Phil Lewis and Tracii Guns, the band's gotta be L.A. GUNS. It can't be anything else."

Back in December 2016, Phil announced that he was leaving the L.A. GUNS version that included drummer Steve Riley.

The deadly duo Johansson & Speckmann strikes back with its fourth attack! From The Mouth Of Madness will be released on March 30th via Soulseller Records on CD, LP and digitally. Expect nine new tracks full of old schoolish, monstrous heaviness.

Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based symphonic metal band, Realm Of Glass, have released their debut album, Reveries From The Haunted.

The lineup features Ben Kuzay (ex-Monstrosity, ex-Wykked Wytch) on bass,  Justin Hernandez (ex-Wiszdomstone) on guitar, Matthew Schnurer (ex-Wiszdomstone) on keyboard, Nikky Mattson on vocals, Arik Malcolm on guitar, and Tim Ignacio on drums. Ignacio has since been replaced by Kyle Rack.

Talented six-string master Ethan Brosh will be unleashing his third album on February 16th. Titled Conspiracy, the album’s 14 new tracks showcase Brosh’s stellar guitar work in the style of hard rock guitar instrumentals, which perfectly balances virtuoso playing and memorable melodies.

The album also features the world class players in The Ethan Brosh Band. Additionally, a special guest solo from Steel Panther's Satchel is featured on the tune “Tomb Of The Gods,” as an exclusive on the album version. An album preview can be found below.

World renowned guitar prodigy Angel Vivaldi has released a new playthrough video for the track, “Oxytocin”.

Says Vivaldi, “Oxytocin is the molecule responsible for bonding, so I wanted to channel my energy and experience from touring with Gus G last year. We really had a great camaraderie sharing a bus, a crew and a backing band. I felt my strength in riffing and his ability to deliver a melodically punishing solo would be an effective pairing in displaying what this neurotransmitter is all about. His green and my red make a stunning yellow."

Vivaldi's new conceptual opus, Synapse, essentially cements himself alongside the guitar greats (Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, etc). If you are a fan of progressive, guitar-based hard rock, then this album is a must for you.

Synapse consists of eight songs, each written for a specific brain chemical, which incites a different emotion. For full immersion, the studio was painted eight times during the writing of each individual song in its associated color.

EKTOMORF recently parted ways with Tamás Schrottner (guitar), Szabolcs Murvai (bass) and Róbert Jaksa (drums) due to "personal differences" and replaced them with Szebasztián Simon, Attila Asztalos and Dániel Szabó, respectively.

EKTOMORF guitarist/vocalist Zoltán Farkas stated: "After many years of touring and playing together, Tomi, Robi and Szabi decided to leave the band due to personal differences. They left on their own will; it was their own decision to leave. I respect their decision and will separate in peace. I wish them nothing but the best in their life with success and health. Will miss them a lot and thank them for everything! I think we will keep all the great memories forever! They also wanted to say thanks for the fans who provided some of their best time in their life — serving heavy music around the world!"

Last year, before the latest shakeup, Farkas told Acta Infernalis about EKTOMORF's personnel changes: "A lineup change shouldn't affect anything except… You know, things happen like if someone wants to go, then go. This is our idea, but when I was, like, 14-15 years old and I made the band, it hurt really much. And I wanted to keep someone there because I thought it was going to be forever. But now, I know it's not. Of course, I'm 41 years old now, and if some problem comes up between the four of us, we sit down and talk, that's the way. And we try to solve the problems because we want to stay together because the lineup we have now, it's really strong. So, in the past, the lineup changes… I didn't regret any."

Bon Jovi is finally being honored by the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame and it’ll be none other than Howard Stern who’ll induct them at the ceremony later this year. The announcement was made on Wednesday morning’s Stern Show during Jon Bon Jovi’s interview with Howard.

“I am so honored that you asked me. I am thrilled to do it," Howard told Jon.

Jon explained he spent a lot of time considering who should be the one to induct him and his band into the Rock Hall, but in the end he knew it had to be Howard. “Our careers have paralleled in a lot of ways and whether it was the ups or the downs, we’ve come through everything together,” Jon said on the air. “Nobody knows not only me but the members of the band as well as Howard.”

Sacramento based tech death shredders Alterbeast have released another track off of their forthcoming sophomore album Feast. The song, entitled "The Maggots Ascension", showcases both the band's technical prowess and melodic sensibilities with incredible performances from guitarist Andrew Lamb, vocalist Michael Alvarez, and drummer Alex Bent (also of Trivium). 

Guitarist and Alterbeast founding member Andrew Lamb said, "We are stoked to give you another advance track from Feast! Whilst today's popular music world seems to be based around the idea of “style over substance”, Scottish hard rock trio, The Amorettes, have a very simple plan; taking over the world, one show at a time! No fuss! No gimmicks! Just good, old-fashioned hard work, and great songs.

Anyone who’s ever attended an Amorettes live show can easily testify to the buzz of expectation that kicks in as soon the lights go down, and the intro rolls. Never has the Slade track, "We’ll Bring The House Down" been so prophetic in its meaning. The roar from the crowd builds expectation from the very start, and the energy and intensity doesn’t let up until we reach the end together.

Witness the audience sing-a-long during the anthemic set closer, "Hot And Heavy", a track always pre-empted by vocalist / guitarist, Gill Montgomery asking the sweat soaked audience, “Is everybody hot? Do you like it heavyyy?” It’s not just all down to Montgomery though. Drummer Hannah McKay, who is considered to be one of the best young drummers on the music scene today, uses her full kit to deliver knock-out blows to each and every member of the audience. Likewise, bass player Heather McKay is a sight to behold on stage, banging out her rock-solid rhythms whilst prowling the stage like a tiger, her long hair flailing in the lights as her head does not stop moving even for a second. Having what is arguably the tightest rhythm section on today’s rock scene behind her, allows Montgomery to showcase her powerful vocals, whilst also tearing off riff after riff, and solo after solo with ease.

Relentless touring across the UK and Europe has turned The Amorettes into a lean, mean, rock and roll machine, leading them to be described as “Airbourne fronted by Joan Jett.” Reviews for both live shows, and the albums, only reinforce the fact that The Amorettes' star is still very much in ascendance, and, as long as there are stages to play, and records to make, there is no sign of this “Female Motorhead” attempting to take the easy road to the top.

Italian progressive rock / metal band Heretic’s Dream have released a new music video for the song "A Price To Pay". The track is taken from the forthcoming album Resilience, due out later in 2018. The video was directed by Adriano Giotti. "A Price To Pay" was produced / mixed by Roberto Riccardo at RR Studio and mastered by Andrea Fusini at Fusix Studio.

The song is about the dichotomy lived by a parent, between the consciousness that his child deserves to live his life and to have his own experiences (even the toughest) and the temptation of preserving him from dangers and suffering.

“To love you is to die a bit, and make a deal with Hell / to love you is to dance with fear / to love you is to let you go, my words just run in circles,” states the chorus, while the video tells the story of a child divided between two fighting parents. The child’s love overcomes the adults’ barriers and the two separated parents even end up meeting each other in a common embrace with their child.

Waiting for a phone to ring is A Price To Pay when you love someone who learns daily to become a man in this world.

"Nothing To Lose", a new song from SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, can be streamed below. The track is taken from the band's upcoming EP, "Get Your Fight On!", which will be released on March 9. Pre-orders for the EP — named after one of the tracks on the band's 2016 album "World Gone Mad" — start today (Friday, January 19).

The second release for SUICIDAL TENDENCIES with former SLAYER drummer Dave Lombardo, Ra Diaz on bass and Jeff Pogan on guitar, "Get Your Fight On!" will precede a new full-length album, set to arrive in the summer. Muir told Finland's Kaaos TV last summer that the band's upcoming EP would be "a little more specifically a statement of the time" and an effort that "could be interpreted as political."

KAMELOT has set "The Shadow Theory" as the title of its new album, due this spring via Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2015's "Haven" features all the signature elements of KAMELOT and also sees the band step out to add new and industrial elements along while combining amazing emotions that harken to the band's earlier days. The group's epic new music is chock full of symbolism relating to how the band feels about the world and the current state of civilization.

"The Shadow Theory" was recorded in Wolfsburg, Germany with producer Sascha Paeth.

KAMELOT guitarist Thomas Youngblood told Rock Overdose that the band's new material was harkening "back to the 'Ghost Opera' days a bit with 'Haven' elements."

Following the release of "The Shadow Theory", KAMELOT will embark on a massive world tour, starting in North America during April/May 2018, followed by European shows in the summer. The band will return to Europe in September/October 2018 for its biggest headlining tour to date.

The very first show of KAMELOT's fall 2018 European tour will take place on September 14 at 013 in Tilburg, The Netherlands.

"Haven" sold around 7,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD was made available in May 2015 via Napalm Records as part of an exclusive licensing deal through the band's Kamelot Music LLC.

According to Variety, rapper Machine Gun Kelly (real name: Colson Baker) has been tapped to play MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee in the film adaptation of the group's biography, "The Dirt - Confessions Of The World's Most Notorious Rock Band".

Kelly confirmed the news via Twitter, linking to the Variety article and writing: "And it's finally announced. Excuse me for being crass but.... HOLY FUCKING SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!!!!!!" He added that his brother has been hired by the film producers as his drumming teacher. "I WILL learn the drums and finish the new album before we start filming," he said.

The film adaptation of "The Dirt" is being helmed by "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa" director Jeff Tremaine and is being produced by LBI Entertainment's Julie Yorn and Rick Yorn, along with Erik Olsen and Amanda Adelson, who wrote the script. Netflix will distribute the project, which was previously at Focus and before that at Paramount.

MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil previously told Las Vegas Magazine that "The Dirt" movie script stays "pretty close to 'The Dirt', so if you've read 'The Dirt', it's really something to look forward to."

Asked how it struck him that he would be seeing an actor playing him on screen, Vince said: "That's gonna be strange. It's funny, I saw the table read of the last script. They have these different actors playing each person, and even just the table read of the script was weird when the Vince guy was talking. [Laughs] It wasn't the guy that's gonna play me, but it was just kind of weird hearing somebody say your words. It's a bit of a trip."

Bassist Nikki Sixx and Lee attended a read-through of the script in 2014 with Tremaine and were impressed with what they saw.

"Can I tell you it was the most fucking insanely surreal experience I've ever sat through, y'know," Lee told GMI Rock News. "I sat through probably two hours and change of literally watching people act and play through this two-hour-plus movie of your… of 30 years of your life that went by in two hours, and I was just like, 'What the fuck?! That's insane. This movie is insane.' Even just the way the movie starts, you're like, 'How the hell are we gonna rate this thing, triple R?'"

According to Lee, the film won't include any big stars acting as the CRÜE members.

"We're going with all unknowns," he said. "I think that's crucial here, too. Getting known actors would not do anybody or the film or the band or any of that stuff justice. I think it would be watching a well-known actor play Vince or myself or Nikki or Mick [Mars] would be weird, because all of those other movies they've done would be attached to that character, and it would be real hard to remove those. There's a lot of up-and-coming young actors that are fucking amazing, actually."

Deadline reported that last November that British actor Douglas Booth was in negotiations to play Sixx in "The Dirt".

POP EVIL's music video today for the song "Colors Bleed" can be seen below. The clip was once again directed by Columbia Tatone, who also helmed the recent "Waking Lions" video.

POP EVIL will embark on the "Music Over Words" tour, which will serve as the official kick-off for the new LP. Additionally, POP EVIL is confirmed for festival dates Carolina Rebellion on Friday, May 5 and Fort Rock on Sunday, April 29.

What if dreams could be broadcast for the purpose of entertainment? Could you consume the innermost thoughts of another person on screen? If you could, what does that say about an attention-starved audience? More importantly, what would become of the dreamer?

BETWEEN THE BURIED AND ME poses those questions and more on its two-part eighth full-length and introductory offering for Sumerian Records, "Automata". The North Carolina quintet — Tommy Giles Rogers, Jr. (lead vocals, keyboards), Paul Waggoner (lead and rhythm guitar, backing and lead vocals), Dustie Waring (rhythm and lead guitar), Blake Richardson (drums) and Dan Briggs (bass, keyboards) — explores these themes by personally smashing boundaries once again. Swedish extreme metallers NECROPHOBIC will release their eighth studio album, "Mark Of The Necrogram", on February 23 via Century Media Records. The disc is NECROPHOBIC's first for Century Media and it marks another step up on the staircase to the death metal throne, delivering sorrow-laden melodies of musical mastermind Sebastian Ramstedt, furious riffs of rhythm guitarist Johan Bergebäck, the pounding bass of Alexander Friberg, battering war drums by the band's heart and soul Joakim Sterner and the demonic voice of Anders Strokirk, who reunited with the band more than 20 years after the release of "The Nocturnal Silence".

"Mark Of The Necrogram" comes with an eerily monumental cover artwork of Kristian "Necrolord" Wåhlin, with whom the band has been working together since the release of the second album, "Darkside".

The band's latest release was a two-song EP, "Pesta", which came out in August.

The "Pesta" title track was a brand new song, offering NECROPHOBIC's typical trademarks with its evil vocals, battering drums and the wicked guitar harmonies from the notorious guitar duo of Sebastian Ramstedt and Johan Bergebäck. The second song was a re-recorded version of the classic demo track "Slow Asphyxiation".

Formed in 1989, NECROPHOBIC belongs to the first wave of Swedish death metal bands. Ever since the release of its classic debut album, "The Nocturnal Silence" (1993), the band has issued a total of seven studio LPs, among them timeless masterpieces as "Darkside" (1997), "Bloodhymns" (2002) or the brilliant 2009 album "Death To All".

NECROPHOBIC was rejoined by guitarists Sebastian Ramstedt and Johan Bergebäck following the band's split with its axeman of five years, Fredrik Folkare.

Metal band BAD WOLVES has released it cover version of of THE CRANBERRIES' most famous and successful song, "Zombie". THE CRANBERRIES lead vocalist Dolores O'Riordan was set to record her vocals on the track earlier this week when she was found dead on the bathroom floor of her London hotel room by a maid hours after her death, according to multiple reports.

BAD WOLVES singer Tommy Vext said in the statement: "It was the greatest honor to know she liked our version and wanted to sing on it. We're deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Dolores and by the fact that she's leaving behind three children so we are donating the proceeds from the song to her kids.

"It's such a powerful song and the themes are still so relevant, we wanted to release it in her memory," he continued. "The original lyrics include the line 'It's the same old theme since 1916. In your head, in your head, they're still fighting.' It’s a reference to the IRA bombings during the Irish Rebellion. We changed that lyric to say '2018' and she was really excited about that because the nations may have changed but we're still fighting the same battles today. Humanity is still fighting to assert itself despite all the conflicts."

When BAD WOLVES turned in their upcoming album to record company Eleven Seven Music, CEO Allen Kovac, who managed THE CRANBERRIES for many years, immediately knew the version was special and sent it to O'Riordan. She connected with BAD WOLVES' performance and offered to add her own vocals to the track. The recording session was coordinated through Eleven Seven international managing director Dan Waite, a longtime friend of O'Riordan's, and the session was to take place Monday in London.

Eleven Seven Music CEO Allen Kovac said: "From the very first time I met Dolores, I knew she was a great talent. Managing THE CRANBERRIES and being part of making 'Zombie', one of the biggest records of its time, was a great professional honor. So when Dan Waite called me suggesting a collaboration with Dolores and BAD WOLVES on 'Zombie', I was excited to once again be a part of the magic she was able to create. My heart goes out to her children, I hope they can find some peace despite this tragic event."

Waite added: "The news that my friend Dolores has passed deeply shocked me. I worked with THE CRANBERRIES at Universal Records and have kept in touch ever since.

"Dolores left me a voice message just after midnight [Sunday] night stating how much she loved BAD WOLVES version of 'Zombie'; she was looking forward to seeing me in the studio and recording vocals. She sounded full of life, was joking and excited to see me and and my wife this week. The news of her passing is devastating and my thoughts are with Don, her ex-husband, her children, and her mother."

In addition to Vext, BAD WOLVES features drummer John Boecklin (ex-DEVILDRIVER), guitarist Doc Coyle (VAGUS NERVE, ex-GOD FORBID), guitarist Chris Cain (BURY YOUR DEAD) and bassist Kyle Konkiel (ex-IN THIS MOMENT).

Marco Mendoza will release his long-awaited new solo album, "Viva La Rock", on March 2 via Mighty Music. The disc was recorded in Copenhagen with the multi-talented producer and guitar player Søren Andersen (Glenn Hughes, Mike Tramp) at the helm. The Søren/Mendoza collaboration proved to be the right way forward with the chemistry exploding in the studio, writing and producing some of the finest new rock songs that are screaming out to be heard through a radio somewhere in the world.

The official video for the "Viva La Rock" title track can be seen below. The clip was filmed by Mark Stoumann and edited by Stoumann and Mark Allison.

The new disc will be the first solo album in eight years from Mendoza, whose last effort, "Casa Mendoza", came out in 2010 via Mascot Records.

"Viva La Rock" is big, bad and beautiful. It reflects the larger-than-life personality of Mendoza, both on and off stage.

The Los Angeles native, who has a proud Spanish/Mexican heritage, is usually found holding down the bass rock foundation with artists like Neal Schon (JOURNEY), WHITESNAKE, THIN LIZZY, Ted Nugent and can currently be found with new classic rock champions THE DEAD DAISIES.

With a hard-working ethic that sees him constantly out on the road either with THE DEAD DAISIES or as a solo artist, he was delighted when Mighty Music offered him the opportunity to release an album that could propel his own brand of music to a wider public.

"I am really excited about the release of this album," says Marco. "It will be my first collection of new songs in seven years! I have been extremely busy with THE DEAD DAISIES since 2013 so when the opportunity to get some new music together came along, I jumped at it! I hope you guys have as much fun listening to it as I did recording it!"

With the title track, "Viva La Rock", thrusting out of the speakers as a worthy invitation to come and listen, Marco then takes you on a roller coaster of musical emotions and sounds with a number of potential hit singles like "Rocketman", "Sue Is On The Run" and the ballad "Leah". Memphis rockers Tora Tora finally have a YouTube channel. "We're gonna be sharing some real gems starting with this previously unreleased 'Guilty' video," says the band. "You've seen the original 'Guilty' vid, but check out the other one shot at the US Military graveyard outside of Tucson, AZ in July '89. Looks like Anthony, John, Patrick, and Keith were all goin' for the gold at the end."

"Guilty" is from Tora Tora's 1989 debut album, Surprise Attack.

Italian label Frontiers Records has announced the signing of Tora Tora. The band will commence recording a new studio album in 2018, for a tentative release in early 2019.

Detroit-based progressive rock quartet TILES has announced that longtime vocalist Paul Rarick will be retiring and departing from the group, ironically coinciding with the band's 25th anniversary this year.

Two years after releasing their crowning achievement, the star-studded and internationally acclaimed double album "Pretending 2 Run", the members of TILES now find themselves in the unusual position of commemorating their 25th anniversary while bidding a fond farewell to their friend. Rarick will take his final curtain call with his bandmates on Saturday, April 28 at The Loving Touch in Ferndale, Michigan.

Guitarist Chris Herin relates: "It was way back in 1993 when Paul and bassist Jeff Whittle joined drummer Mark Evans and me during the in-progress recording sessions for what would become the first TILES album. TILES invites its loyal fanbase to see the original lineup of the band one last time on April 28 as it digs deep into its catalog for seldom-played songs, fan favorites, and selections from the mesmerizing 2xCD magnum opus "Pretending 2 Run". An ambitious and richly crafted 96-minute song cycle that spins a dark tale of betrayal and redemption in the cinematic tradition of '70s progressive rock, the record was hailed worldwide as one of the best prog albums of 2016 by fans and critics. Prog magazine called the album "more imaginative, expansive, colorful, diverse and satisfying than ever," and AllMusic praised it as "massive, obsessive even. Brilliant."

TILES will announce a new vocalist in the months ahead, and will forge onward creating new material for the follow-up to "Pretending 2 Run".

Thrash legends Kreator have announced that four of their classic ‘90s era albums will be reissued via BMG on February 23rd.

Formed in Essen, Germany in 1984, Kreator are arguably the most influential and successful European thrash metal band ever, racking up multi-million album sales over the years. Kreator fused Metallica's thrash innovations with Venom's proto-black metal imagery and is often credited with helping to pioneer the death metal and black metal genres. The band’s style has varied over their storied career, from a Venom-inspired speed metal sound, to thrash metal, and a period of transitioning from thrash to industrial metal and gothic metal throughout the 1990s, from which these reissues are drawn. In the early 2000s, Kreator returned to their more straight up thrash sound, which has continued to their most recent album, 2017’s Gods Of Violence, which charted Top 20 in 10 countries including a #1 slot in Germany.

The four albums being reissued are Coma Of Souls (originally released in 1990), Renewal (1992), Cause For Conflict (1995), and Outcast (1997). The records have been remastered by Andy Pearce (Black Sabbath, Voivod, Motorhead, Anthrax) and will be available in multiple formats including coloured vinyl. Coma Of Souls and Outcast will now include previously unreleased, bonus live tracks, recorded in Germany in 1990 and at 1998’s Dynamo Open Air festival. Originally released in July 1995, Kreator’s seventh album Cause For Conflict took a different musical path again. While not abandoning the experimental nuances which had been so crucial to Renewal, there was something of a return to more familiar territory this time. Both "Lost" and "Isolation" were released as singles and the passage of time has given Cause For Conflict a sense of belonging, because there’s little doubt it remains one of the bands most undervalued records.

With hindsight and a sense of history, Outcast is one of Kreator's most inventive and important albums. The gargantuan-watt gladiators’ eighth studio release was again different to anything they’d done in the past, during a time when metal was in turmoil due to the explosion of grunge and nu-metal. The title Outcast was appropriate for how the band felt in the late 1990’s and when this record was released in July 1997, it proved they were still an exciting, individual, and focused band.

In their first gig of the year in Toulouse, France on January 13th, Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons paid tribute to Motörhead guitarist “Fast” Eddie Clark by performing “Ace Of Spades”.

 

Phil Campbell And The Bastard Sons, led by the legendary former Motörhead guitarist, will release their debut album, The Age Of Absurdity, on January 26th via Nuclear Blast. In the clip below, Phil Campbell and Neil Starr discuss the best guitar solos of all time:

The Age Of Absurdity was recorded at Rockfield Studios and Longwave Studios in Wales and produced, engineered, and mixed by Romesh Dodangoda. The record was then passed over to the acclaimed Abbey Road Studios in London for mastering.

The album will feature 11 tracks + 1 bonus track (see tracklisting below). It will be available in various formats, with pre-orders available here.

Commented Phil Campbell: "I am really excited for the fans to hear our debut record. Every part of the process was done in Wales, from the writing, to the recording and even the artwork! The album title ‘The Age Of Absurdity’ was inspired by the crazy world we live in today. The world to me seems to be a bit of a theatre show, so the album artwork idea just seemed to fit so well with the whole concept and album title."

Added singer Neil Starr: "Writing and recording this album was a lot of fun. We got to record at Rockfield Studios where so many great artists had been over the years - it really was inspirational. Hearing the blistering riffs that the Campbell family seem to churn out effortlessly made me ensure I pushed myself to the limits when writing the melodies and lyrics. It's an album that I, and the rest of the band, are very proud of and can't wait to share it with the world!"
