Dutch singer Dianne Van Giersbergen has announced her departure from German symphonic metallers XANDRIA.

The news comes just one day after XANDRIA canceled its previously announced U.S. tour, which was scheduled to kick off on September 29 in Buffalo, New York and conclude on October 21 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Dianne says in a statement (hear audio below): "The moment I promised you and me that would never come is here: I am leaving XANDRIA. And the reason is simple: staying in the band would cause further damage to the health problems the band has caused me.

"For nearly two years now, I've been trying to put band and management issues on the table, with the sole reason to keep this band healthy, together and ready for the future. Today I am sad to say that my attempts failed and have been ignored, that my cries for help have been met with financial threats and emotional extortion and that my persistence to keep on going, ignoring all the warning signs, has left me with uncontrollable stress symptoms (confirmed by doctors).

"I am a fighter, but I've come to see that this is one I cannot win. I don't want to leave, I love the music that I got to write for you — which is 100% me — but I can't live, can't perform, can simply not exist in an environment that harms me. This environment does not care for me nor for the fans (even proposed me to playback in order to do more shows in a row) and somehow miraculously never generated any financial outcome and therefore no stability for any of its band members.

"Yesterday evening, the last hope I had of ever reconciling with the boys was shattered when they made a statement announcing that 'I' could not perform with the band anymore, forgetting to mention that I am in this unhealthy position because of XANDRIA and management. Not surprisingly, they also already have a replacement for me and kicked me out of every XANDRIA social media page. With that, they've send me one last clear message: they are not interested in fixing the situation nor are they willing to support me if that means (partly) stepping away from the business perspective (quote: 'we are not friends') which leads me to conclude what I know now: it is time for me to close this chapter and wish them the best of luck in continuing the band I loved so much.

"Now, I don't know where we will meet again, but I didn't follow my passion, study all those hours and travel all those roads to simply give up.

"I'm sad to close this chapter, but I'm sure there will be another one to write. In the meantime, I will be focussing on what does make me happy and I will be posting my daily business and updates on my Precious Metal Jewelry and EX LIBRIS stuff as usual.

"I very much hope to see you online so we can stay in touch and who knows, maybe one day in an audience again.

"Thank you all for understanding, for your love and support! I am forever grateful."

XANDRIA has recruited Aeva Maurelle (AEVERIUM) to sing for the band at its European shows in November and December.

The band in 2013 parted ways with their singer of three years, Manuela Kraller, and replaced her with Van Giersbergen, who also fronts the progressive metal outfit EX LIBRIS.

Dianne Van Giersbergen made her live debut with XANDRIA at the end of November 2013 on a Spanish tour.

XANDRIA's latest album, "Theater Of Dimensions", was released on January 27 via Napalm Records.

The "Evolutions Version" of the classic WHITESNAKE song "Is This Love", which will appear on the upcoming thirtieth-anniversary reissue of the band's self-titled album, can be streamed using the SoundCloud widget below. The track is part of a complete bonus disc full of demos and rehearsals from the period leading up to the "Whitesnake" LP, also known in some countries as "1987".

"Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition" will be available on October 6 for $49.98. The 4-CD/DVD collection includes the original album with newly remastered sound, unreleased live and studio recordings, classic music videos, concert footage, a thirty-minute documentary, featuring a new interview with David Coverdale, WHITESNAKE's founder and lead singer. The music comes with a sixty-page hardbound book that's filled with rare and unseen photos from the era, an extended essay based on new interviews with Coverdale, plus a booklet of the album's lyrics, handwritten by Coverdale. The audio will also be available via digital download and streaming services.

Three other versions of "Whitesnake" will also be available the same day. A Deluxe Edition will be available in both 2-CD ($19.98) and 2-LP ($29.98) versions, each including the newly remastered album expanded with a selection of unreleased bonus recordings. A single-disc version of the newly remastered album will also be available.

This also marks the first release under a newly signed catalog deal with WHITESNAKE and Rhino Entertainment, the catalog division of Warner Music Group. This new deal includes both the North American and Japanese rights, marking the first time a substantial amount of the WHITESNAKE catalog will reside under Warner Music Group worldwide.

"It gives me great joy to finally have so much of my WHITESNAKE catalog all under the same roof with the Warner family and I'm thrilled to be now working with this tremendous team on a worldwide basis," says Coverdale. "I have great memories of being with Warner back in my days with DEEP PURPLE. Then when I was with Geffen, they were distributed by Warner, so it feels like coming home to now have WHITESNAKE there. This elaborate reissue is the perfect project to kick off the new relationship."

Soon after its release in April 1987, "Whitesnake" became a huge success around the world, selling multi million copies. It peaked at #2 on the Billboard album chart and spawned four popular singles: "Still Of The Night", "Give Me All Your Love", "Is This Love" (which reached #2) and the #1 hit "Here I Go Again".

"Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition" comes with an entire disc of unreleased live performances featuring Adrian Vandenberg, Vivian Campbell and Tommy Aldridge, recorded during the band's 1987-88 tour. The music includes live versions of several tracks from "1987", plus WHITESNAKE classics "Slide It In", "Love Ain't No Stranger" and "Slow An' Easy".

An additional disc spotlights the creative process behind "Whitesnake" with a selection of elevent unreleased demo and rehearsal recordings, including early versions of nearly every song on the album called "87 Evolutions". The final disc introduces newly remixed versions the album's four singles, and includes rare radio mixes, as well as songs from "87 Versions", an EP released exclusively in Japan.

The DVD from "Whitesnake: Super Deluxe Edition" includes music videos for the four singles, all of which have been carefully restored and remixed in 5.1 Surround Sound for the first time ever. In addition, the DVD also features a new thirty-minute documentary about the making of "Whitesnake", a new promo video made especially for this set of the 1988 version of "Here I Go Again" and unreleased live footage from the 1987-88 tour.

According to Billboard, a WHITESNAKE home video will follow on Record Store Black Friday (November 24) as well as a coffee table book chronicling "The Purple Album" cycle from 2015. An all-new WHITESNAKE studio album is planned for 2018, along with a world tour.

"It was a lot of fun to do," Coverdale told Billboard of the "Whitesnake" reissue, "because I don't go back a lot. I kind of learn from the past to apply those lessons to the future and the present. But my gratitude for (the album) is beyond words. I've only ever gone into a studio to try to improve on the last record...There was no, 'Right, I'm gonna sell thirty-odd million fucking records!' It was amazing, just amazing, so it's great to revisit all of this."

Coverdale also revealed that he has been getting together with WHITESNAKE guitarists Reb Beach and Joel Hoekstra for regular writing sessions for a new album that will lively arrive late spring of 2018. "I'm actually very excited about it because it's the first opportunity both Reb and Joel and I have actually had to sit down and write together," Coverdale said of what will be WHITESNAKE's first set of original material since 2011's "Forevermore". "There's a lot of what one would refer to as arena rock; Reb and I were talking the other night over dinner and he said, 'Man, there's so many songs here that no matter where we play — Portugal or Brazil or Tokyo — they're gonna get this hook. They're gonna be punching the fuckin' air and have a great night.' And I went, 'Oh, absolutely — and more than usual,' which is great. I can't do throwaway shit. The only reason I'm doing this record are the songs are gonna be a great WHITESNAKE album for WHITESNAKE fans — and the band. It's very exciting."

"The Blood of Gods" is nothing less than a sacred text chronicling the rise of humanity against their makers, and the massive battle between GWAR and the forces of all that is uptight and wrong with the world. Along the way, the band challenges the sins of their great mistake, from politics, pollution, and organized religion, to fast food, and factory farming. Not to mention a relevant, successful run in not only one but several fields. Grammy Award-winning guitarist, songwriter and producer extraordinaire Bob Kulick began his musical profession at 16 — when most high schoolers are still trying to figure out where they're going in life — appearing on the 1966 album "Winchester Cathedral" from the RANDOM BLUES BAND, the "baby band" that Bob played in that played The Café Wha in New York's Greenwich Village alongside Jimmy James and the BLUE FLAMES (later rechristened Jimi Hendrix). "This was the first club gig I had experienced and it completely changed my world!" recalls the guitarist. 1973 saw Kulick make the connection that he has been associated the most with throughout his career. He auditioned for — and got passed over by — KISS. Instead of being dejected, the six-stringer aligned himself with the band over the years, playing on the studio material on "Kiss Alive II", providing solos on the "Killers" album, co-writing "Naked City" from "Unmasked" and guesting on Paul Stanley's 1979 solo album and tour a decade later. He even suggested his brother to the band. "It took multiple tries but we finally got him there!" Bob laughs. Aside from KISS, Bob has, of course, played with Meat Loaf, BALANCE, Lou Reed, W.A.S.P., SKULL, MURDERER'S ROW and several other bands and studio projects over the years. Fifty-one years after making his recording debut, the well-respected axe slinger has decided it's time to release his first actual solo album, "Skeletons In The Closet". Kulick explains, "I started writing new music in 2015 which then turned into songs co-written with my former BALANCE bandmate Doug Katsaros and my brother Bruce. I've had the thought of doing a solo project using some of the musicians I had worked with in the past for some time. Now armed with four new original songs, my girlfriend (photographer Julie Bergonz) introduced me to producer Bobby Ferrari at Vegas View Recording and he loved the idea of working with me, the guest artists and the four new songs and that introduction led to the making of this album." A ten-song affair, "Skeletons In The Closet" is half brand new songs and half material from his storied past. "The idea of doing these new songs / retrospective songs as one CD only came to me after the new original songs were done. Then we added our cover of 'Goldfinger' and pulled five of my all-time favorite songs out from my 'closet,' creating 'Skeletons In The Closet'." Kicking off with "Rich Man", the uplifting track is the lyrical juxtaposition between what we don't have and being "rich" because we have "you" — a girlfriend, lover or a guitar or whatever it is that makes everything else alright. "Not Before You", co-written with Bob's brother Bruce, is a specific reference to, in this case, a new love. "London", Bob says, "is Jack The Ripper sideways. Our homage to Sweeney Todd and a 6 / 8 tempo and feel that, with Dee Snider's vocal, takes you to that place in London where 'No one hears you scream in the darkness.'" Frankie Banali's unique drumming concept helped turn this into a larger-than-life song. "Goldfinger" is a tongue-in-cheek tribute to James Bond films — a heavy version of the classic Shirley Bassey song. "Player" is a theme we're all familiar with — getting "played by someone." This is another take on that story. Bob's back catalog begins its appearance with MURDERER'S ROW's "India" with an Indian / Middle Eastern metal double-bass-drum guitar gallop and with a coral sitar solo played by Kulick. With the title track, Bob states: "I often look to start and/or end recorded songs by setting a mood, vibe or sound effect that 'speaks.' In 'Skeletons In The Closet', you can hear the skeleton sounds in the beginning of the song, helping set the dark mood." "Can't Stop The Rock" "was written produced and recorded when David Eisley and I came up with the Sponge Bob song 'Sweet Victory'. This is another 'rock' lyric song but a fun one we came up with which went great with 'Sweet Victory' at that time." From Bob's SKULL days, "Guitar Commandos" sees him trading lead guitar licks with his brother Bruce. "It's basically a song about the road and touring," he says. Wrapping up the album, "Eyes Of A Stranger" is a song about how crazy love is. "The ups and downs of love, ya know, but also an uplifting and driving track to finish things off."

STONE SOUR has released an official video for the song "Rose Red Violent Blue (This Song Is Dumb & So Am I)", featured on the band's new album, "Hydrograd". The clip, which was directed by Ryan Valdez, includes a guest appearance by members of STEEL PANTHER.

"Hydrograd" was released on June 30 via Roadrunner Records. The disc was recorded at Sphere Studios in North Hollywood, California with producer Jay Ruston, who has previously worked with ANTHRAX and STEEL PANTHER. The band tracked the album live in the studio, cutting a total of eighteen songs from which fifteen made the CD.

STONE SOUR singer Corey Taylor told iHeartRadio about "Hydrograd": "It is kind of a departure, but not really. To me, it's more of an evolution. It's taking everything that we've done on the last few albums, and really honing it down and turning that diversity into more cohesion and really finding the strength in the song to be able to express ourselves through all of these different genres that we've always dipped our toes in, whether it's hard rock, or heavy, or metal, or just rock and roll, or straight up punk, or even in one of the cases a bit of California country."

He added: "I don't think it's so much a departure, as it is just becoming more of what STONE SOUR really means."

Taylor went on to call "Hydrograd" "the best stuff that [STONE SOUR] has ever written." He explained: "I think the songwriting is stronger, I think the energy in the recording is better, and I think that comes down to the way we recorded it, which was live in the room. No click, no grid, no beat detective, no Auto-Tune, no fake guitar sounds, everything was real. That really allowed the songs to become very alive and very exciting. I also think that it's some of our strongest performances. Obviously, it's our first album with Christian [Martucci, guitar] and with Johny [Chow, bass], and those guys shine like crazy. And with Roy [Mayorga, drums], this is really his coming-out party. People are really going to start looking at him very differently. [He's] just one of the best drummers on the planet. Josh [Rand, guitar] [can be heard] really experimenting, doing all these crazy things. It's some of the best music that we've ever created as a band, and I hope that people listen to my singing and my writing and just can see where I'm at from a personal standpoint and from a professional standpoint. I feel like it's my best work that I've done in a long time and I don't really care if people don't hear it, say it's heavy or whatnot. It's just really good straight-up rock and roll, and it's amazing."

Regarding the "Hydrograd" title, Taylor told told Detroit radio station WRIF that he was running through an "antiquated" airport in Eastern Europe a few years ago where the gate info was "on those old-school '80s block-letter, number, digital horrible Timex watch kind of readers" and scrolling between different languages. As he ran past, Taylor thought he saw the word "Hydrograd."

Taylor said: "So my brain is trying to do geometry while also at a sprint because I don't wanna miss my plane. I pass one and I look up and I could have swore it said 'Hydrograd.' And I kept running for a second and I was, like, 'Hydrograd? Where the hell is Hydrograd? What?'"

Taylor eventually realized that the word wasn't "Hydrograd," recalling, "It didn’t even start with an 'H.' It wasn’t even close." But he still remembered the word, saying, "It’s a cool name. It was what I saw but didn’t really see."

At last year’s annual Morsefest in Nashville, the dream of every Spock’s Beard fan in attendance came true. The LP was the horror-rock act's third full-length studio album and their major label debut, with the band having signed to Geffen Records the year before. It was also the group's commercial breakthrough, spawning the hits "Thunder Kiss '65" and "Black Sunshine".

Singer Rob Zombie and bassist Sean Yseult formed WHITE ZOMBIE in the mid-'80s on New York's Lower East Side. The band went through several lineup changes and issued several EPs and albums independently before becoming stars with "La Sexorcisto".

The band split in 1996, with Rob Zombie starting a solo career. He told The Pulse Of Radio not long ago that his younger fans don't always know that he was in WHITE ZOMBIE. "I wouldn't normally think that but, like, if some kid's, like, fifteen, you know, WHITE ZOMBIE had broken up as a band when the kid was, like, eight or something so he doesn't remember it. So there's always confusion, like, 'Hey, was he in that band?' and 'What songs should I listen to?'"

Since launching his solo career in 1998, Rob Zombie has released six solo albums and directed seven feature films.

He recently disclosed that he has started working on the follow-up to last year's studio album "The Electric Warlock Acid Witch Satanic Orgy Celebration Dispenser".

Blacklight Media/Metal Blade Records has announced the worldwide signing of Brooklyn's doom metal trio, Eyes Of The Sun. After releasing their self-titled EP in 2010, and debut full-length Chapter I in 2013, the band is now poised to release their sophomore effort in 2018.

Within a few years, and after a couple of past members on second guitar and drums, Chris O'Neil joined as the permanent drummer. As a trio, they performed countless shows over the past 10 years, delivering their unique brand of doom metal - which leaves listeners with a range of emotions, that the band themselves then experience and extract from. The band explains: "It is known throughout the laws of science and nature that the sun creates and sustains life...Now it stands witness to the atrocities, depletion and vile consumption manifested by mankind, which it originally sustained life for. In our way, we portray what is seen through the Eyes Of The Sun."

Among the Amorphous is an album that lifts the bar in regards of storytelling and songwriting in the world of technical metal. The Interbeing plunges into a futuristic music journey in which Dara Corcoran's constant shifting between growls, whispering, chanting and grand melodies makes this album one of the most ambitious albums in Danish metal in many years.

EMP Live conducted an interview with ARCH ENEMY singer Alissa White-Gluz at this year's edition of the Leyendas Del Rock festival, which was held August 9-12 at Polideportivo Municipal de Villena in Villena, Spain. You can now watch the chat below.

Asked what piece of advice she would give to young female singers trying to make it in the music business, Alissa said: "I think I would tell them, 'Don't doubt yourself.' Because there's gonna be plenty of other people that are gonna doubt you. Because you're a woman, they're gonna think you're only using your looks, or you're not pretty enough to use your looks, or you don't even like this kind of music, it's just a gimmick, or some record label put you together, or you're definitely in a relationship with one of the bandmembers. They're always gonna think that there's something going on just because you're a female. So what I would say is just don't doubt yourself. You know why you're there.

"Out of all the peers that I have, all the women that I know that are in bands, none of us did it because we're women; we did it because we love music and because we love singing or playing guitar or playing drums or whatever our talent is — that's why we do it," she continued. "And the amount of time that I spend thinking about the fact that I'm female is zero seconds a day. [Laughs] I don't wake up and go, 'I'm female. Let's see what the world has to offer today.' But, unfortunately, lots of other people do that. So it's just a matter of knowing who you are — remember who you are, and don't doubt yourself. Because other people will do it. But what matters is that you don't do it."

ARCH ENEMY's new album, "Will To Power", was released on September 8 via Century Media. Co-produced by guitarist and band leader Michael Amott and drummer Daniel Erlandsson, the disc was mixed and mastered by longtime collaborator and friend Jens Bogren (OPETH, AT THE GATES, DIMMU BORGIR). The album's cover artwork was designed by Alex Reisfar.

The Spokane Police Department's Special Victim's Unit (SVU) is looking for additional witnesses who may have seen what happened outside a downtown Spokane, Washington concert venue on the night of August 31 into the morning of September 1. Court documents say the Polish death metal band DECAPITATED kidnapped and sexually assaulted a woman on a tour bus outside The Pin concert venue.

All four members of DECAPITATED — Michal Lysejko, 31, Waclaw Kieltyka, 35, Rafal Piotrowski, 31, and Hubert Wiecek, 30 — were in court in Los Angeles on Tuesday, September 12.

They were arrested at around 2 a.m. Saturday in Santa Ana, California after performing at the Observatory as part of the "Double Homicide" tour with THY ART IS MURDER.

Los Angeles County jail records show the four men were being held without bail. They were awaiting extradition to Spokane.

In court Tuesday afternoon, the bandmembers took turns in front of a judge agreeing to be extradited to Washington, according to KABC. They all had a Polish translator while a representative from the Polish consulate sat in the courtroom.

According to court documents obtained by The Spokesman-Review, the woman alleged she was gang-raped by the musicians in their tour bus bathroom. The woman said entered the bus for drinks with the band before each member forced themselves on her.

DECAPITATED's attorney released a statement Monday stating: "DECAPITATED plan to fully fight the allegations that have been brought against them and are confident that their side of the story will be heard."

Investigators have been monitoring social media posts surrounding the incident. The bus was located near the venue the band played at that night, The Pin, located at 412 W. Sprague. A number of those posts mention other people who may have been on the bus during the alleged crime, but were not active participants. Detectives are asking those witnesses who have not already spoken to investigators to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233. SVU Detectives are also asking witnesses that may have seen, photographed, or recorded any activity around the bus between 10:30 p.m. August 31 and 2:00 a.m. September 1 to call Crime Check at 509-456-2233.

German/Dutch symphonic metallers XANDRIA have been forced to cancel their previously announced U.S. tour.

The trek was scheduled to kick off on September 29 in Buffalo, New York and conclude on October 21 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Says the band in a statement: "Some bad and some good news, folks. Starting with the bad news first: It comes with grief and sadness that our singer Dianne [Van Giersbergen] cannot perform with us for the time being.

"Sometimes these things are beyond your own power and there is a life offside the stages of the world which requires appropriate attention, so please bear with us.

"This, unfortunately, also means that we have to cancel the upcoming Russia shows in Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as the following U.S. tour in the end of September and October.

"We are already working on new dates for these stretches, yet can't determine an exact time window by now already.

"Please stay alerted for ticket-return info in here and where you purchased your tickets.

"As for short-term solutions: Our dear friend Aeva Maurelle of our buddies from symphonic metal band AEVERIUM will step in to rock with us the European dates in November and December.

XANDRIA in 2013 parted ways with their singer of three years, Manuela Kraller, and replaced her with Dutch vocalist Dianne Van Giersbergen, who also fronts the progressive metal outfit EX LIBRIS.

Dianne Van Giersbergen made her live debut with XANDRIA at the end of November 2013 on a Spanish tour.

XANDRIA's latest album, "Theater Of Dimensions", was released on January 27 via Napalm Records.

Speaking about XANDRIA's songwriting approach, Dianne Van Giersbergen told Metalheads Forever: "I think diversity is a good thing though it should never be used when only based on a commercial purpose. It is most important to create what you yourself would love and what is pure to your heart, close to who you are. If you lose that then the music detached from both band and musician and will cause the fans to not believe the music and performance anymore."

As previously reported, METALLICA will reissue its third album, "Master Of Puppets", on November 10 via the band's own Blackened Recordings. The LP has been remastered for the most advanced sound quality and will be available in various digital and physical configurations.

The "Master Of Puppets" reissue will be available physically as a Standard LP, Standard CD, 3 CD Expanded Edition, and Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set and digitally as a Standard CD (available to stream and download), a 3 CD Expanded Edition (available for download only), and a Digital Deluxe Box Set (available for streaming and download). The Expanded Edition will include previously unreleased demos, rough mixes, interviews, live tracks, and a 28-page booklet. The Limited Edition Deluxe Box Set will include a 108-page hardcover book including never before seen photos, outtakes and previously unreleased interviews, three LPs, ten CDs, a cassette, two DVDs, a lithograph, a folder with handwritten lyrics, and a set of six buttons. "Master Of Puppets" was released on February 24, 1986 and was the first album METALLICA recorded after signing a major label deal with Elektra Records.

The set only reached No. 29 on the Billboard album chart but has sold over six million copies in the U.S. since.

It is the last record to feature bassist Cliff Burton, who was killed later that year in a tour bus crash.

Several songs from the album are still staples of METALLICA's live set, including "Battery", "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" and the title track.

Many fans consider it METALLICA's finest album, a fact that the band acknowledged by playing it in its entirety on a European tour in 2006.

Canadian thrashers ANNIHILATOR will release their sixteenth studio album, "For The Demented", on November 3 via Neverland Music/Silver Lining Music. The follow-up to 2015's "Suicide Society" will be available in a limited-edition digipack with lenticular cover, a jewel-case CD, a twelve-inch, 180-gram colored vinyl in gatefold and digital download. Lyrically, I placed a theme on the record: the human mind and all of its glory, complexity, diversity, weaknesses and insanity! Pretty much the craziness of the music is matched by the lyrics. Since 1989, ANNIHILATOR have not stopped putting out records and touring the world. Relapse Records has announced the vinyl reissue of DEATH's legendary fifth album, "Individual Thought Patterns". The reissue will be available as a standard single LP and a limited-edition deluxe 2xLP boxset. According to The Pulse Of Radio, PEARL JAM is reissuing its albums "Binaural", "Riot Act" and "Avocado" — a.k.a. its self-titled eighth studio album — on vinyl for the first time, with each LP remastered and "Avocado" remixed by producer Brendan O'Brien. The band is also reissuing a slew of seven-inch vinyl singles and is making the vinyl editions all ten of its studio albums available in one complete box set. All will arrive on November 10.

PEARL JAM has previously released vinyl editions of its first five studio albums — "Ten", "Vs.", "Vitalogy", "No Code" and "Yield" — as well its last two, "Backspacer" and "Lightning Bolt".

Bassist Jeff Ament told The Pulse Of Radio a while back that things like reissues and special editions are an interesting way to look at the past. "It's really good because I think that there's so much going on at the time that you forget so many things," he said. "And when people start pulling out pictures and footage from things, it's a trip to realize that large aspects of your life are fully documented. [Laughs]"

The most recent of PEARL JAM's studio albums is 2013's "Lightning Bolt". The group has not indicated when or if it will return to the studio.

PEARL JAM has taken most of 2017 off, getting together only to perform at their induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame last April. A new documentary chronicling the group's two-night August 2016 stand at Chicago's Wrigley Field, titled "Let's Play Two", comes out on September 29.

Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke has completed recording his new album. The disc, which is expected next year, will feature many prominent musical guests, including MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx. "It still needs to be mixed," Gilby tells The Cornwall Seeker. "It's a solo record, but with that being said, there are many guest drummers and bassists. I play all the guitars and vocals. On drums, I had Kenny Arronoff [CHICKENFOOT], Stephen Perkins [JANE'S ADDICTION], Matt Starr [ACE FREHLEY, MR. BIG] and many others; while on bass Sean McNabb [QUIET RIOT, DOKKEN], Muddy Stardust, EJ Curse and Nikki Sixx make appearances."

Clarke replaced founding guitarist Izzy Stradlin in the GUNS lineup in 1991, during the "Use Your Illusion" tour, and stayed with the band for three years.

He has continued as a producer and solo artist since then, while also playing in ROCK STAR SUPERNOVA, HEART and other acts.

Clarke reunited with GUNS members Slash, Steven Adler, Matt Sorum and Duff McKagan at the band's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction in April 14, 2012, although he himself was not inducted as part of the band.

Welsh glam metal veterans TIGERTAILZ will release a very special version of "Fall In Love Again" featuring Suzi Chunk on vocals. This is to commemorate ten years since losing their bass player Pepsi Tate to pancreatic cancer.

The track will be released on Saturday, September 16, with the video premiering at the band's tribute show to Pepsi at the Rescue Rooms, Nottingham.

Guitarist and original founding member Jay Pepper says: "It was very important to us that we never forget him, and in doing this very special evening ten years on since losing him, we hope everyone can come together and celebrate him for everything he was and remember what he brought to us all, and what he brought to TIGERTAILZ.

"The single can be pre-ordered from all the usual digital platforms and all proceeds will go to the charity set up in Pepsi's name, AmserJustinTime."

TIGERTAILZ in 2015 tapped its bassist, Rob Wylde, to sing for the group following the departure of Jules Millis. Wylde was previously the frontman in TEENAGE CASKET COMPANY and the U.K. POISON tribute act POIZON.

Millis left TIGERTAILZ in March 2015 "due to personal reasons." He joined the band in 2012 folllowing the acrimonious exit of TIGERTAILZ's longtime singer Kim Hooker.

TIGERTAILZ's was originally fronted by Steevi Jaimz, who left the group in 1988. Jaimz later attempted to register the TIGERTAILZ name as a trademark with the U.K. Patent Office and launch his own version of TIGERTAILZ with drummer Ace Finchum.

Pepper is the sole remaining member of TIGERTAILZ's classic lineup.

Swedish quartet TRIBULATION has entered the studio to record the follow-up to the band's critically acclaimed 2015 release "The Children Of the Night". "After tracking all the drums in the classic Soundtrade Studios, we are now residing in Studio Cobra," the band states. "It is a strange and wicked brew that we are currently concocting together with Martin Ehrencrona. 2018 will see the Vampyre return in a new form to usher in a new era of ventures and audible gloominess." TRIBULATION's as-yet-untitled fourth studio album is due in January 2018.

Prior to the release of the new disc, TRIBULATION will support ARCH ENEMY fonor the European leg of the "Will To Power" world tour. Aso appearing on the bill are WINTERSUN and JINJER.

"King Of Storms", a brand new song from Finnish folk metallers ENSIFERUM, can be streamed below. The track is taken from the band's seventh album, "Two Paths", which will be released on September 15 via Metal Blade Records. Produced by Anssi Kippo, the disc was recorded on tape, for a true analog experience.

You can't talk about the true greats of folk-inspired melodic death metal without reverent mention of ENSIFERUM, and with "Two Paths", they once more affirm their place in the pantheons of the genre. Further building upon the thrilling metallic hybrid honed across six full-lengths, "Two Paths" is simultaneously the Finnish quintet's most epic and far-reaching collection and their most organic, which definitely sets it apart from the pack. Additionally, the album literally takes the concept of "Two Paths" to heart, with two different versions of standout tracks "Don't You Say" and "God Is Dead".

"Even though ENSIFERUM has always had clean vocals and choirs, harsh vocals have been the main style, and those songs worked so well with both styles that we decided to include both versions," explains bassist/vocalist Sami Hinkka. With Mikko P. Mustonen again handling orchestral arrangements and Lassi Logren returning to play nyckelharpa and violin on a few songs, Hinkka is also more than happy that they brought "more bombastic orchestral and down to earth folk aspects" to the record, further fleshing out their vision. This also applies to the contribution of Gyula Havancsak, who provided the artwork for both "Two Paths" and its predecessor, "One Man Army". "It was really nice to work with him again because he always wants to hear our ideas and then he adds his own magic and improvements to them, and the result is always astonishing," says Hinkka.

From September 27 onward, ENSIFERUM will present "Two Paths" live on stage, splitting their European tour into two parts. The first part will be in September with six dates in three countries, and then in April 2018 there will be an extended tour through many more European countries. In between that time, ENSIFERUM will visit all other continents.

PROPHETS OF RAGE, the supergroup featuring members of RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE, PUBLIC ENEMY and CYPRESS HILL, performed the song "Living On The 110" on last night's (Monday, September 11) edition of NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon". "Living On The 110" is taken from PROPHETS OF RAGE's self-titled debut album, which will be released on September 15. The disc was recorded with legendary producer Brendan O'Brien who has done notable work with RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE and AUDIOSLAVE.

"'Living On The 110' is a song that speaks to the issue of homelessness," PROPHETS OF RAGE guitarist Tom Morello said in a statement. "The 110 is a freeway in Los Angeles and living beneath it are thousands of homeless people. Bentleys and Rolls Royces roaring by are literally driving on top of the poor and their makeshift homes, a picture-perfect analogy for the grotesque economic inequality that plagues our times."

Morello told Billboard that the members of PROPHETS OF RAGE have set a very high bar for the material that they want to release. "The goal is a simple one: The music has to be devastating," he explained. "In all these interviews, we talk a lot about the politics, but the cornerstone is that the music has to be devastating and we have to not just be competitive with our legacies, but in [2017], it has to be something that goes beyond that and is very authentic, unapologetic and contemporary."

PROPHETS OF RAGE made their live debut in May 2016 in Los Angeles.

All four members of the Polish death metal band DECAPITATED are being accused of gang-raping a woman in the bathroom of their tour bus after their August 31 concert in Spokane, Washington.

According to court documents obtained by The Spokesman-Review, the alleged victim and her friend told Spokane police they were invited by DECAPITATED members to have drinks in the tour bus after the show at The Pin.

One of the two women "described being excited to be on the bus, and then one of the band members began grabbing her breasts," court documents say. "He was later identified as the drummer, Michal Lysejko."

The same woman "was uncomfortable and said the band members began speaking to each other in Polish," court documents say. "She described the 'vibe' in the bus changed, and one of the members began looking at them like they were prey."

The woman said DECAPITATED singer Rafal Piotrowski began kissing her and she began resisting when he started undoing her belt, according to court documents. The woman "attempted to push Piotrowski away but he grabbed her arm and spun her around to where she was facing the sink and mirror in the bathroom," court documents say. "She saw in the mirror and out of the corner of her eye each of the band members taking turns raping her."

The rape was reported when the woman got a call from her friend, who had been pulled over in another part of town on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The alleged victim was taken to a hospital for a sexual assault examination, where it was determined that she had "significant bruising to her upper arms consistent with being restrained" and "small abrasions to her knuckles that were scabbed over." During the alleged rape, she said, she "was digging her fist into the wall to try and distract herself from what was happening."

When interviewed by detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Office, Lysejko "made no comment other than he did not know who the girls were" when shown a picture of them. "He said he would not talk without using a translator," court documents say.

Guitarist Waclaw Kieltyka told detectives he saw both Piotrowski and bassist Hubert Wiecek engaged in a sex acts with the woman in the bathroom. Piotrowski "admitted there was a party on the bus and (the women) were present. He then requested an attorney and a translator refusing to make any further statements," court documents say. Wiecek admitted the women had been on the bus, but said he "sat on the couch and did not see what was going on," court documents say. "He then said he needed a translator so he did not misspeak. He also said no one was forced to get on the bus. He then said he did not recall what happened."

Kieltyka agreed to have a DNA swab collected as evidence, while Piotrowski and Wiecek both declined to give DNA samples.

The DECAPITATED bandmembers were arrested early Saturday following their concert at The Observatory in Santa Ana, California. They are in the Los Angeles County Jail awaiting extradition to Spokane.

DECAPITATED's attorney Steve Graham told The Spokesman-Review that his clients "plan to fully fight the allegations that are brought against them, and we are fully confident that the other side of this story will be heard."

He previously said that he and his clients had "witnesses that can testify to the fact that the accuser came to visit the band of her own free will and left on good terms."

DECAPITATED had been touring North America in support of its seventh album, "Anticult", which was released on July 7 via Nuclear Blast.

Inner Wound Recordings recently announced the signing of Swedish female-fronted melodic metal band, Metalite. The band's debut album, Heroes In Time, will be released on October 27th in Europe and North America. A music video for the album’s opening song “Afterlife”, directed by 11Frames Productions, can be seen below.

Metalite was formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2015 when Edwin Premberg (guitar) met Emma Bensing (vocals). The goal was to write and record melodic and memorable metal songs with a modern and fresh sound.

Edwin and Emma started to co-operate with the Danish producer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Evergrey, Amaranthe) and songs started to take shape. During 2016, Metalite found three experienced musicians that agreed to join the band: Lea Larsson (drums), Robert Örnesved (guitar) and Robert Majd (bass).

Heroes In Time is an impressive debut album filled with melodic and memorable songs, crowned with the strong and emotional vocals by vocalist Emma Bensing as well as a powerful production by Jacob Hansen. The album should be perfect for fans of bands like Beyond The Black, Dynazty and Amaranthe.

The artwork was created by Jan Yrlund (Apocalyptica, Leah, Korpiklaani) and guest appearances on the album includes Fraser Edwards (Ascension) and Jakob Svensson (Wigelius).
