"Take The Devil In Me", the new video from LEAVES' EYES — the German/Norwegian band formed by ex-THEATRE OF TRAGEDY singer Liv Kristine Espenaes Krull and members of ATROCITY — can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's latest album, "Njord", which was re-released in May as a "special fan edition," containing three previously unreleased tracks — "At Heaven's End", "Angus and the Swan" and an acoustic version of "Irish Rain". The set also features an appearance by Liv's sister, Carmen Elise Espenaes from MIDNATTSOL, as a guest vocalist on "Irish Rain". Italian progressive metallers DGM will celebrate their 15-year aniversary with the release of a "stunning" live DVD, "Synthesis", due on September 24 via Scarlet Records. Recorded in April 2010 in Rome, Italy, the DVD will be made available in a special package containing extra material plus a bonus CD featuring the band's greatest hits, re-recorded specifically for this release, as well as two previously unreleased tracks, "Just Like Before" and "The Only One".

Criteria For A Black Widow, the 1999 album from Canadian melodic thrash metal pioneers ANNIHILATOR, has been reissued and is out now in Europe.

Following the recent release of Annihilator's critically acclaimed, self-titled new album, Earache Records is reissuing six albums from the band's illustrious back-catalogue. Criteria For A Black Widow is the second reissue in the series, with Carnival Diablos also available now.

Criteria For A Black Widow featured the reunited original Annihilator lineup, including vocalist Randy Rampage. The album is available now on CD featuring two bonus tracks and a bonus guitar workshop video with Jeff Waters, and comes housed in a custom slipcase. The album is also available for the first time on limited edition coloured vinyl LP.

Swedish death metal veterans GRAVE have parted ways with bassist Fredrik Isaksson "due to personal reasons and issues."

Fredrik played his last show with GRAVE in late July at the Eisenwahn festival in Germany.

Commented the band: "There is no bad blood between us [and Fredrik] and we thank him for all the years with GRAVE and wish him luck with whatever he may do in the future. His immediate replacer is Tobias Cristiansson (DISMEMBER) who already did a couple of gigs with us the past weeks in Colombia and Finland. Tobias lives, breathe, eat, sleep and shits metal and we are very confident that he will be a great contribution to GRAVE both live and for writing new material."

"At The Edge Of Time", the tenth studio album from German power metallers BLIND GUARDIAN, sold around 4,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 108 on The Billboard 200 chart.

BLIND GUARDIAN's previous CD, "A Twist In The Myth", opened with 3,000 units back in September 2006.

"Zombie", the new EP from the Dayton, Ohio Christian metalcore band THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA, sold around 25,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 10 on The Billboard 200 chart..

THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA's previous album, "With Roots Above and Branches Below", opened with 31,000 units back in May 2009 to land at No. 11.

"Warp Riders", the third full-length album from Austin, Texas metal luminaries THE SWORD, sold around 8,900 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 47 on The Billboard 200 chart.

"7th Symphony", the new album from the Finnish rock cello quartet APOCALYPTICA, sold around 13,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 31 on The Billboard 200 chart. The majority of the album was produced by Joe Barresi (TOOL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE, BAD RELIGION), with two other songs produced by Howard Benson (MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE, MOTÖRHEAD, PAPA ROACH)

The CD landed at position No. 8 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

KATAKLYSM's previous CD, "Prevail", opened with 2,250 units back in June 2008.

Bassist Jan Bünning of German power metallers PARAGON has issued the following update:

"Long time no news, but here we go: Martin [Christian, guitar] has quit PARAGON. After all these years it was a really hard decision for him. Still, for personal reasons he was not able to give 100% [to] the band anymore.

"Of course, his decision has hit us hard but we still feel the fire of heavy metal burning in our hearts.

"To be honest, it was not easy to find two suitable shredders. However, the search is finally over. Our new PARAGON brothers are David Wieczorek (ex-STORMWARRIOR) and Wolfgang Tewes (BLACK HAWK, WHEELS OF STEEL).

"After countless rehearsals over the last month, we are sure that this choice represents the strongest lineup the band ever had. We truly feel like a real band again and we are looking forward to play some shows and start writing the next album togehter.

"The first show we will do is the mighty Swordbrothers festival [on September 11 in Andernach, Germany] where we will play a 'best-of' set with songs from most of our albums."

"Shoot It Out", the new video from Knoxville, Tennessee's 10 YEARS, can be viewed below. The song is the first single from the band's new album, "Feeding The Wolves", which came out on August 31. The title of the record is actually taken from a line in the song, which singer Jesse Hasek says is about the pressures the band has faced in the music business. "It's a very aggressive song and it's a little bit of angst towards just how they don't leave you alone to be the musicians you are," he tells The Pulse of Radio. "You hear it with a lot of bands, the whole 'jaded' scenario, but it's true, because we're a bunch of musicians that were writing music all on our own with no outside sources affecting us. And then you get, it turns into a profession and you get pulled in all sorts of directions. And we just said, 'Enough's enough, we're just gonna do what we want.'"

Finnish metal group TERÄSBETONI — which represented Finland in the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest — recently entered HIP Studios in Helsinki, Finland with producers Juha Heininen and Hiili Hiilesmaa (HIM, THE 69 EYES, LORDI, SENTENCED, APOCALYPTICA) to begin recording its as-yet-untitled fourth album for a late 2010 release via Sakara Records. The recording sessions have since been moved to Hiilesmaa's studio in Hämeenlinna where the vocal tracks to five of the CD's songs have already been laid down. TERÄSBETONI vocalist/bassist Jarkko Ahola states, "I love to do vocals under Hiili Hiilesmaa's guidance. He really knows how much tiny changes can make the vocal track much more interesting and appealing."

Century Media Records has set an October 12 North American release date for "Valley Of Smoke", the sophomore album from Southern California's INTRONAUT. The follow-up to 2008's "Prehistoricisms" was once again produced by Josh Newell (JANE'S ADDICTION) and it features a guest appearance by TOOL bassist Justin Chancellor. Metal Injection kicks off it's video coverage of Summer Slaughter 2010 with multi-cam live footage of death metal masters VITAL REMAINS. Posted below is their 9-minute epic track, 'Dechristianize', in full.

Italian horror-inspired extreme metal act STIGMA will shoot a video for the song 'The Undertaker' with director Salvatore Perrone (A DAY TO REMEMBER, EVERGREEN TERRACE, SUICIDE SILENCE) to coincide with the release of a special-edition digital-only EP this winter via Pivotal Rockordings.

The band recently wrapped up a successful European tour supporting TRIGGER THE BLOODSHED.

Stigma’s Concerto For The Undead was produced at Fear Studio by ex-BLEEDING THROUGH and current BRING ME THE HORIZON guitarist Jona Weinhofen and was mixed and mastered by Scott Atkins (BEHEMOTH, CRADLE OF FILTH, SYLOSIS).

This sophomore effort was released on April 30th in Europe, May 3rd in the UK, May 4th in North America, May 7th in Australia/New
Zealand and June 30th in Japan.
