Connecticut hardcore/metal legends HATEBREED have debuted their new video for "Destroy Everything" as a MySpace "Exclusive Video Premiere."

The "Destroy Everything" video was directed by Martin Kames and filmed during the band's With Full Force festival performance. The clip marks the second video from the band's 2006 Roadrunner Records release, "Supremacy".

Commented frontman Jamey Jasta: "We filmed this video in front of 30,000 raging German fans. It was a show we will never forget and we're very happy to have it captured on film for everyone to see!"

ILL NINO's new album, "Enigma" (Cement Shoes Records), has reportedly had its release date pushed back to October 9. A track from the CD, entitled "Alibi of Tyrants", is available for streaming on the band's MySpace page

ILL NINO's last release was the "The Undercover Sessions" EP, which came out in November through Cement Shoes. The CD was comprised of three of ILL NINO's favorite cover songs from bands they loved growing up as fans, and two brand new songs — all overseen by legendary producer Andy Johns (LED ZEPPELIN, VAN HALEN, OZZY OSBOURNE), Dave Chavarri and Eddie Wohl (ANTHRAX, 36 CRAZYFISTS, MACHINE HEAD). The EP was the band's first release through Cement Shoes following their split with the Roadrunner label.

In a complete departure from what they have done before, Denis "Snake" Belanger (VOIVOD) and longtime friend Botcher (AGGRESSION) spent the last year working on a project called PARANOLAND. Experimenting with modern sounds and samples over knockout riffs and twisted arrangements, the group stepped up its game with the involvement of guitarist Frank Legendre (GROOVY AARDVARK) and drummer Peter Jackson (B.A.R.F., UNION MADE).

The first three songs from PARANOLAND — "Paranoland", "Leave U" and "Farewell" — are available for streaming on the band's Myspace page. The tracks were reportedly produced by Glen Robinson (VOIVOD, GWAR, ANNIHILATOR).

Swedish metallers THE DUSKFALL will release their fourth CD, entitled "The Dying Wonders of the World", on October 26 via Massacre Records. The CD was recorded at Uppsala, Sweden's Dug-Out Studios (drums, vocals and the mix) by Daniel Bergstrand (IN FLAMES, DEFLESHED, DARK FUNERAL, BEHEMOTH, SOILWORK) and Promile Studios (guitars and bass) by Michael Hahne. It was mastered by Achim Köhler at Indiscreet Audio in Germany.

Vitamin Records has set a September 11 release date for "A String Quartet Tribute to H.I.M." According to the label. The CD is "a haunting and beautiful recreation" of HIM's unique sound. "Their pulsating riffs and lush melodies are the perfect template for these unbelievable pieces. This album is an essential for any HIM fan's collection."

AYREON, the brainchild of Dutch guitarist/composer Arjen Lucassen, has posted an семпл of the next guest singer who will appear on the the band's upcoming album, tentatively due late 2007/early 2008: EVERGREY mainman Tom S. Englund. Other vocalists scheduled to appear on the CD include Ty Tabor (KING'S X), Magali Luyten (VIRUS IV), Simone Simons (EPICA) and Liselotte Hegt (DIAL). A total of fifteen singers have been confirmed to guest on the album, with more to be added.

THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN will release its new album, "Ire Works", on November 13 via Relapse Records. The CD was produced by Steve Evetts (SAVES THE DAY, EARTH CRISIS, SEPULTURA) and features the drumming of STOLEN BABIES' Gil Sharone following the departure of Chris Pennie (he now plays drums with COHEED AND CAMBRIA). Songtitles set to appear on the album include "Saigon Whore", "Doll Keeper" and "Party Smasher".

Norwegian black metallers SATYRICON have issued the following update:

"We will return to Fredrikstad [Norway] Septemer 29. More shows scheduled for this coming fall will be announced in the next few weeks. The shows this [past] weekend at Brutal Assault [Czech Republic] and Sziget [Hungary] festivals wrap up the festival season for SATYRICON. Thank you for the support so far! Guitarist Schoft of the brutal Dutch death metal band BRUTUS has reportedly been tapped by SATYRICON as the group's new touring guitarist.

SLAYER guitarist Jeff Hanneman has revealed that he has already started writing material for the follow-up to the group's "Christ Illusion" CD, which came out last year. Speaking to YeboTV, Jeff said, "I've got, like, probably about three songs started. I think we'll probably just take a couple of months off and then start writing."

Asked if he ever writes material that doesn't suit SLAYER, Hanneman said, "Oh, yeah, I write tons of shit like that. It's basically just for fun… because I've got a drum machine, a recorder — like a mini-studio at home. I'll just go in, throw down some drums, play some guitar riffs for fun… just to have fun. And once in a while, a riff will show up and I'll go, 'Hey, I can use that in SLAYER.' And I'll jus ttake that out and build a song around it."

The track "Convictions and Contradictions" from Norway’s classical/progressive metal supergroup WINDS' upcoming album "Prominence and Demise" (due out September 4 on The End Records), has been posted at the official The End Records Myspace page.

Commented WINDS keyboardist Andy Winter, "We are now only three weeks away from the release date of our new album 'Prominence and Demise' and with that in mind, we think it is a suitable time to post one of the new songs on the web for everyone to hear. The new track is called 'Convictions and Contradictions'.

"All the tracks on the new record are distinctly different from one another and this track definitely contains some unique contributions from everyone in the band. It's also what we in the band refer to as the 'duet' song, as it features synchronized vocals from Agnete (M. Kirkevaag; MADDER MORTEM) and Lars."

Finnish "fantasy metal" band BATTLELORE has issued the following update:

"At the moment we are sharpening our swords and learning the arcane spells for the new songs. Our cunning plan is to enter the depths of the recording studio in spring 2008 to summon the next ominous BATTLELORE album."

BATTLELORE released its fourth album, "Evernight", in North America on March 13, 2007 via Napalm Records. The CD was issued in Europe in February.

The follow-up to 2005's "Third Age of the Sun", "Evernight" was recorded at MusicBros Studio and was produced by Miitri Aaltonen, who previously worked with the Finnish "fantasy metal" band on their first two CDs, "...Where The Shadows Lie" (2002) and "Sword's Song" (2003). The mastering duties were handled at Finnvox Studios.

CIRCLE II CIRCLE, the band led by ex-SAVATAGE vocalist Zak Stevens, has signed a worldwide deal with Intromental Management.

"I'm thrilled to be working with a band that has not only established their reputation in the metal scene as a premiere talent, but is poised to take it to the next level with our help. I have been a fan of Zak's ever since his days in the mighty SAVATAGE when I first heard 'Edge of Thorns'," said Intromental's managing director Claus Jensen. Stevens added, "We're very excited about the limitless potential that this cooperation presents for us. Intromental's reputation and professionalism is outstanding. Their new partnership with Glenn Harveston directing operations in the USA was also a major factor in our signing with Intromental. We're looking forward to great things to come."

North American promotional director Glenn Harveston, has declared his intentions for the band as well: "We are going to get the record in the stores and the band out on the road here in the States. Period. We are going to kick off the new year right with CIRCLE II CIRCLE, CIRCUS MAXIMUS, and MANTICORA joining forces for a North American mini-tour in early 2008.'

CIRCLE II CIRCLE's last album, "Burden of Truth", was released in October via AFM Records.

Spinefarm Records will be launching in the UK this autumn, kicking off its campaign with deluxe versions of the first five albums from NIGHTWISH — the multi-platinum Finnish outfit whose latest CD, "Dark Passion Play", is scheduled for release late September/early October (depending on territory). OZZY OSBOURNE's latest album, "Black Rain", is being reissued today (Tuesday, August 14) by Epic in a new jewel-case package containing the full booklet with lyrics and new color cover art and photos. It will also contain CD extra bonus content featuring behind-the-scenes footage from the "Black Rain" photo shoot.

"Black Rain", which originally came out on May 22, was released in "eco-friendly" packaging, with the CD sleeve made out of recycled paper. In addition, the record came out without a booklet to further save paper, with the lyrics, credits and other inside material available to buyers of the CD at SonyMusic.com.

RIDE THE SKY, the new band featuring ex-HELLOWEEN drummer and MASTERPLAN founder Uli Kusch alongside ex-TEARS OF ANGER/BEYOND TWILIGHT singer Bjørn Jansson, guitarist Benny Jansson, bassist Mathias Granås (XSAVIOR) and keyboardist Kaspar Dahlqvist (DIONYSUS, STORMWIND), has released its video for the song "New Protection". The clip, which was shot in Umeå, Sweden with director Owe Lingvall of Village Road Film, can be viewed below. The track is the title curt of the group's debut album, which is scheduled for release in Europe on August 24 via Nuclear Blast

Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY have issued the following update:

"As everybody knows, HYPOCRISY has been busy with everything except HYPOCRISY. Horgh [drums] has been doing reunion gigs with IMMORTAL and Peter [Tägtgren; guitar/vocals] has been busy with PAIN. SHAMAN (formerly SHAAMAN) — the revamped Brazilian band featuring drummer Ricardo Confessori alongside guitarist Leo Mancini, vocalist Thiago Bianchi and bassist Fernando Quesada — shot a video for the song "In the Dark" on August 11. Check out pictures from the shoot at this location.

Germany's AT VANCE has announced the addition of bassist Manuel Walther and drummer Alex Landenburg to the group's ranks.

AT VANCE released its new album, "VII", on June 29 via AFM Records. The group's seventh effort marks the debut of new singer Rick Altzi and features the band's "very own interpretation on neo-classical power metal that crosses elegantly with the true spirit of '80s hard rock," according to a press release.

DEAD TO THIS WORLD, the speed/thrash/black metal project led by former IMMORTAL bassist Iscariah, has inked a deal with Dark Essence Records. The group's debut album, "First Strike for Spiritual Renewance", is scheduled for release on November 19. The CD is being produced by Bjørnar E Nielsen at Nielsen's Conclave Media Studios in Bergen.

Nielsen, who has produced albums by bands such as HELHEIM, SULPHUR, DEATHCON, AMPERA and VULTURE INDUSTRIES (of whom he is also a member), recently built a new studio with ENSLAVED members Herbrand Larsen and Arve Isdal.

DEAD TO THIS WORLD was originally founded by Iscariah (NECROPHAGIA, ex-IMMORTAL) as a solo project, but was expanded to a full lineup, releasing a three-track demo in 2005. Following the departure of their drummer, Iscariah recently announced that former GORGOROTH member Kvitrafn (SIGFADER, WARDRUNA, JOTUNSPOR, ex-SAHG) would be joining the band to record the new album. Reunited Norwegian black metallers IMMORTAL have issued the following update:

"After the 7 Dates Of Blashyrkh have come to an end with a triumphant performance at Wacken Open Air, IMMORTAL announces three final shows exclusively for Norway in 2007, before the band starts concentrating on the long-awaited next studio album.

"IMMORTAL will headline the Hole In The Sky festival in Bergen on August 25. This will be the first show in their hometown in seven years! Nebraska-based power metallers CELLADOR have posted another demo track on their MySpace Page. The as-yet-untitled song is expected to appear on the band's next album, which will be recorded between November and December in Tampa, Florida with producer Erik Rutan (MORBID ANGEL, HATE ETERNAL) and mixed by Jason Suecof (TRIVIUM, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, DEVILDRIVER, BURY YOUR DEAD).

Commented guitarist Chris Petersen: "The length of the clip is made up of previews of two completely different sections of the song. The first being parts where vocals will eventually be recorded over, and the second part of the clip is part of the instrumental/solo section! This is the most extreme song we've EVER written!!"

WATCH ME BLEED, the new German band featuring Chris Rodens (vocals; KICKDOWN), Markus Pohl (guitar; SYMPHORCE, MYSTIC PROPHECY), Mark Knaus (bass; KICKDOWN) and Steffen Theurer (drums; SYMPHORCE, CHINCHILLA), has made its three-song promotional CD available for download via the group's official web site. Formed in the winter of 2006, WATCH ME BLEED came together to fulfill the band's "vision of agressive, modern metal," according to the group's official bio. In February 2007 they hit the stage for the first time... opening for STONE SOUR in front of 750 screamin' metalheads.

Germany's SQUEALER A.D. has recruited former MIND-ASHES frontman Norbert Vornam as the replacement for the recently departed Gus Chambers. In addition, the band has apparently reverted to its original moniker, SQUEALER.

Locomotive issued SQUEALER A.D.'s latest album, "Confrontation Street", in North America on May 22.

Released in Europe last October via AFM Records, "Confrontation Street" is "the hardest album in the band's history," according to a press release — a directional shift which was planned even before the passing of former former SQUEALER singer Andy "Henner" Allendörfer, who died in a car accident in 2005. Chambers and new drummer Martin Buchwalter (drums) "did an amazing job in the studio and brought lots of ideas and energy to the new material."

According to the cover story in the latest issue of the U.K.'s Rock-A-Rolla magazine, American "drone metal" act SUNNO))) will start work on its next album in October. The band's Greg Anderson told the publication, "We've spent a lot of time recently just discussing some ideas and where we're gonna go with it and we've had some really good meetings about what we're gonna do and who we'd like to collaborate with. We're gonna try put all that into motion in October and I'm guessing that we'll probably have something ready to go sometime in April or May or summer for the actual release of new material."
