AMORAL Releases CURE Cover

Finnish metallers Amoral end the year with a little surprise for their fans. Recorded at the Fallen Leaves & Dead Sparrows sessions, the band’s version of The Cure's ”Burn” is now available for streaming and download.

”I've been a huge fan of the song ever since I heard it in The Crow film back in 1994,” says guitarist Ben Varon. “And once Masi (Hukari) admitted to be another big fan of the tune, we began the not-so-subtle lobbying of it to the rest of the guys. Luckily they got aboard as well, as I think the cover turned out quite cool. Especially vocal producer Marco Hietala's ideas for the vocal lines helped give the song a little twist of it's own, even though we decided to otherwise keep the arrangement fairly close to the original.”
