Lindsay recently released a lyric video for her song "Where I Fall". The track is from her upcoming album Martyr which will be released on October 7th. The album was co-written with former Evanescence drummer Rocky Gray.

California rockers PAPA ROACH have launched a poignant music video for mental health awareness track "Come Around", taken from their tenth studio album, "Who Do You Trust?"
Shot on the band's "Who Do You Trust?" U.S. tour at New York's Pier 17 on August 11, the clip features longtime fan Mark Moreno, who has followed the band since 2000.
Director Bryson Roatch tells the story of the band and Mark, on their journey to do what they both love most. One scene shows Mark visiting the grave of his sister, Elizabeth Santana Mercado, whom he lost to colon cancer in 2016.
"She was my control switch," Mark says. "She could change my mood real quickly."
At Mark's 57th PAPA ROACH concert, singer Jacoby Shaddix presented him with a gift — a platinum PAPA ROACH plaque in honor of Elizabeth — and thanked him for his support by giving him two golden PAPA ROACH "Por Vida" ("For Life") passes, good for tickets to any PAPA ROACH show, anywhere in the world, for free, for life.
Jacoby said: "We knew 'Come Around' was one of those special songs when we got done with it. We walked away from the track and kept humming the melody to it, and it's just one of those things that gets stuck in your head. Lyrically, this track's about sticking with your friend through thick and thin, or your loved one, as they’re spiraling out."

Maryland rockers CLUTCH have released "Electric Worry". The single is the third in a series of new studio recordings that comprise the newly launched "Weathermaker Vault Series" and the first new official music CLUTCH is making available since the release of its critically acclaimed album "Book Of Bad Decisions".
The "Electric Worry" video uses footage from various 2019 European summer festivals and can be seen below.
When "Electric Worry" was released in 2007 on the album "From Beale Street To Oblivion", nobody knew that this track would turn into one of CLUTCH's most recognizable songs. It is a fan favorite and a staple at live shows. Over the course of time, the song went through changes. What you are listening to here is a brand new studio recording of the 2019 live version of the song without the keyboards and harmonica that are on the 2007 rendition. This is "Electric Worry" in its purest form.
The new version of "Electric Worry" was mixed by six-time Grammy Award winner and CLUTCH collaborator Vance Powell (WOLFMOTHER, THE RACONTEURS, ARCTIC MONKEYS).
"All in all, it's just a leaner, meaner song," states vocalist Neil Fallon. "We wanted to put something out there that was representative of what we do these days since it happens to be one of our most popular songs."
On Friday, September 20, CLUTCH will embark on a fall tour of the U.S. with DROPKICK MURPHYS, along with metalcore veterans HATEBREED as direct support.

"A Prayer For The Loud", the new video from Danish rockers D-A-D, can be seen below. The song is the title track of the band's first album in eight years, which was released in May via AFM Records. The follow-up to 2011's "DIC.NII.LAN.DAFT.ERD.ARK" harks back to the core of what D-A-D does better than most: four guys who play thrilling rock music with ferocious energy, catchy songs and an infectious commitment. "A Prayer For The Loud" has a clear musical link to classic D-A-D albums such as "No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims" and "Riskin' It All".
D-A-D was able to pick and choose from a large selection of songs which have been distilled down to what bassist Stig Pedersen describes as the "cream of the crop." Among the 11 tracks on "A Prayer For The Loud", you'll find songs that fit right into a vintage D-A-D mould: throbbing, adrenaline-soaked rock, big ballads and mid-tempo songs guided by strong melodies. According to the band itself, this is a contemporary D-A-D album where the quartet has refined some of their cardinal virtues. Everything superfluous has been discarded in the editing suite, cutting the sound and the band's expression right down to the core.
D-A-D said to say about the new album: "In the past, we have occasionally gone down new avenues to try out stuff that was pretty far from the heart of what we do. It's been a lot of fun, but this time we have tried to narrow it down to the essence. This time around, we are just being who we really are.
"'A Prayer For The Loud' is a record where the focus is on melodies and energy. We've made a real effort when it comes to writing the choruses and it's resulted in some great songs where we were meticulous with the details without losing the original rawness and pure energy."
The band worked on "A Prayer For The Loud" for the past three years, while breaking off to go touring. The album was produced in familiar surroundings at Grapehouse studio in Copenhagen with longtime collaborators Nick Foss and Rune Nissen Petersen. It's resulted in a record which the band is thrilled about.
Frontman Jesper Binzer said: "Most of all, we are proud that we have nailed 11 awesome tracks that are based on where we are right now. We are not shooting in the dark here — this is straight from the heart."
Psychedelic rock formation, Bask, will be releasing their third studio album, aptly titled III, on November 8 via Season of Mist, making it their debut to the label. The effort was recorded and mixed by Matt Bayles (Pearl Jam, Mastodon, Minus The Bear, etc.).

Dark Station has released a new video for their fourth single "Villain" off of their anticipated debut album Down In The Dark set to release October 25th, 2019. The single, as well as the video, was inspired by the movie Venom.
"‘Villain’ is 100 percent about the character Eddie Brock and his relationship with Venom. It's about how they had to accept and compromise on this new way of living, but I think people will relate it to things that are important to them. This song means the most to me, because while we were writing the song, I really started to believe in myself again as well as Dark Station." says Nathan Spades (vocals) on what "Villain" was written about.
Kyle Ort adds, "Since the lyrics were inspired by the movie Venom, we wanted to keep the same feel for the video. The video starts out with this darkness taking over Nathan, eventually leading him to rob a gas station. The band catches up to him at the end where Nathan shoots himself in the shoulder, releasing the darkness. This is definitely one of the most visually impressive videos we have made. We think this song belongs in the next super hero movie. Maybe Venom 2?"
In the spring of 2018, five Southern California musicians came together, leaving their respective projects behind, to form a new band. A band with the ability to seamlessly transition from crushingly heavy riffs to unforgettably haunting melodies and lyrics. With inspiration drawing from the top late 90's and early 00's rock bands, there's a certain familiarity to the music that's refreshing and yet evolved into what can only be described as Dark Station. The Copenhagen-based hard rock band Statement is up to their name with its new official video. "California Dreaming", a cover version of the famous The Mamas & The Papas song, turns out to be a solid, bold statement in the world today. It has been released in the Force Of Life album, in March this year, out through Mighty Music.
The band states "California Dreaming is the equivalent of the American dream and the American revolutions political X-Factor. What would it look like if various American presidents had a serious side job - as ROCK MUSICIANS for example? We are living in a society where popularity not necessarily equals talent - no matter your profession. Everybody is human, whether they are presidents or homeless, nevertheless, everyone has dreams, but every dream cannot be bought for money.”
And continues: "Donald Trump says he does not want to visit Denmark, but did you know he visited Denmark with his rock band in the ‘60s, ‘90s, and present? The first time the sky was grey. The second time, all the leaves were brown. The third time he was trying to make America great again? Now the show is canceled because of Greenland. Maybe he was already thinking of buying Greenland for another California Dreaming back then? If you want the American dream, make it or take it.”
Italian groove thrash metallers Extrema are sharing their new music video for the title track off their seventh studio album Headbanging Forever released this past May via Rockshots Records.
The video is a collage of clubs shows and festivals that the quartet performed this year. The band is now working on a tour of Europe to be announced at later date.
Guitarist Tommy Massara states:
“‘Headbanging Forever’ I don’t know a better way to explain what the path of this band has been over our long career, we have never reached the international greatness, but the attitude, the energy and the will to keep on doing honest metal is still all here. The words of the song catch exactly the essence of what metal it should be for us. The video - edited by our singer, Tiziano ‘Titian’ Spigno, and filmed by some of our crew members Steve Travaini, Kalo Mazzarisi and Emanuela Giurano, to name few - is a collage of some of the latest shows played from the band over the last year. Headbanging Forever was produced by Tommy Massara and Gabriele Ravaglia. Recorded and mixed by Gabriele Ravaglia and Maxx Canali at the Fear Studio in Italy, it was mastered by Alberto Cutolo at Massive Arts studios in Milan.

Extrema’s original lineup was established between 1985 and 1986 in Milan, Italy. In a very short time, the band led by guitars player Tommy Massara achieved a huge success. Tommy is the only remaining member of the original lineup, and over the years he also played the role of artistic and executive producer.
Hundreds of concerts made the band more and more close-knit and open towards a constant growth path, capable from the beginning of welcoming influences external to heavy metal, a consistent choice within an evolutionary framework which saw Extremas tart from the rebellious attitude of Motörhead to later incorporate the style of Californian thrash metal, a scene with which the band shared the utmost care for the technical side of music and a devastating presence on stage.
The band’s reputation as musicians and performers kept growing in a perpetual live context, with extensive tours and the participation to prestigious festivals with the likes of Metallica, Slayer, Motörhead, and Korn, among many others.
Extraneous from the beginning to political and ideological implications of any kind, Extrema’s lyrics have always strived to alternate challenging and contemporary themes with lighter subjects, true to rock 'n' roll form.
In May 2017 the band welcomed the new frontman Tiziano Spigno. Thanks to his entry, Extrema can finally release all the creativity repressed in recent years: a violent, direct and engaging approach which is -at the same time- also varied, courageous and experimental, resulting in the new album Headbanging Forever.

Veteran Canadian musician, Adam Sewell - former frontman of Monster Voodoo Machine - has released a video for "My Love Is The Dagger" from his Def Con Sound System project. The moody track and corresponding video are taken from the recently released full-length album, Silver Bullets (Stereo Dynamite Recordings).
Of the “My Love Is The Dagger” video, Sewell commented, “We filmed it at the legendary Bovine Sex Club in Toronto. I wanted something that looked, and felt like an intimate rockabilly video. Something slow moving and very simple that wouldn’t take anything away from the actual song itself. ‘My Love Is The Dagger’ is a really heavy song about how difficult personal relationships can be for artists and the people they love, and for those who love them in return. We’ll save the big budget car chases, explosions, and bankrupt-the-band video eye candy for whatever video we make next.”
Since 1996, Toronto-based, Juno Award-winning musician Adam Sewell has used Def Con Sound System as a catch-all band name for miscellaneous musical projects; including soundtracks, one-off live performances, and even a short lived full-on touring band. Sewell began writing the first Def Con Sound System full-length album in 2008. In 2011, the first single from the not-yet-finished album, "Pistol Whipped", was released. The song featured a Clash-meets-1960s spy soundtrack-sounding vibe which would hint at the direction Sewell and Def Con Sound System were headed musically. Sewell would then find himself sidetracked for a number of years, co-writing and producing the critically-acclaimed retro-soul, debut solo album by former Love Inc vocalist Simone Denny titled The Stereo Dynamite Sessions Vol. 1.
Fast forward to the year 2019 and Sewell has finally completed that full-length album which has become Silver Bullets. Co-produced by Sewell, and Jon Drew (Arkells, Tokyo Police Club, Fucked Up), the album was conceived, and written as a fictional movie soundtrack compilation album which combines radically different sounding songs and soundscapes to take the listener into the fictionally cinematic world of the non-existent film ‘Silver Bullets’, and out of the comfort zone of a traditional rock album format.

21 years since their murderous debut, Exhumed continue their onslaught of gore-obsessed death metal on their new brand new album, Horror, coming October 4. Director Dustin Ferguson really captured the vibe of the record - it’s schlock-and-shock bloody mayhem, and unlike our last vid, even features the vidiots in the band! It’s really got it all: Blood! Aptly titled, Horror is an exploration of all things macabre, as the undisputed pioneers of neck-breaking riffs plow through 15 of the band’s most intense tracks to date. Nightmares meet shred, as the speed-inducing track “Ravenous Cadavers” highlight Exhumed’s penchant for blazing, face melting guitar work, while “Naked, Screaming And Covered In Blood” and “Playing With Fear” elevate Exhumed to levels of grind unheard of since Gore Metal.
Horror was recorded at Exhumed’s home-built studio Darker Corners, a first in the band’s career. Horror was produced by Exhumed and Alejandro Corredor (Brujeria, Nausea) and was mixed and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust).

Inspired by legendary pillars of heavy metal such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Scorpions, and Rush, Iron Kingdom is well known for their energetic and electrifying stage presence, as well as intricate musical melodies that bring listeners back to a time when the genre was in its prime.
Now they are back with a new album "On the Hunt" due out on October 4th, 2019, which is sure to remind people of the glory days of metal. With two new members in the lineup, there are new inspirations and approaches in the music while maintaining the traditional sound. They hope the album is well received by fans:
“We’re believing fans can expect the new record to be a lot more traditional in style, more accessible with a lot more rocker tunes, lots of catchy melodies and speed metal riffs, shorter songs, more packed with action, as opposed to the previous album with long epic passages. The nine new tracks are fun tunes that translate well into a live setting, which is paramount for Iron Kingdom who take great pride in their live show. Fans of the classic including Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Queensryche, and Helloween will revel in Iron Kingdom who put a modern spin on traditional heavy metal. Teaming up with BraveWords, the Vancouver heavy metallers are excited to share the exclusive premiere of their new music video and second single “Road Warriors”:
The band adds: “‘Road Warriors’ embodies life on the road, it's a homage to those who tour often, and at all costs to reach their fans. This song was originally made somewhat from our experience of rolling our tour vehicle back in 2015 in the Rocky Mountains. We could have easily perished but circumstances allowed us all to survive. After purchasing a new ride we kept on touring. With a new lineup, a new album, and now a new music video, we can’t wait to take this show on the road, Smell the rubber burn, as we meet our destiny!”

Iron Kingdom recently revealed first batch of North American tour dates in support of the full-length.
The tour will kick off in Vancouver, BC on October 3rd and take the band on a 2-month trek across Canada, the US and Mexico, ending in Everett, WA on December 1st (dates listed below).

After 10 years and two critically acclaimed albums, Eye Of The Enemy have become a staple in the Australia metal scene with their relentless live shows and crushing balance of metal ferocity and melodic sensibilities. After touring nationally and abroad with the likes of Amon Amarth, Children Of Bodom, Fear Factory, At The Gates, Cradle Of Filth and Fleshgod Apocalypse, Eye Of The Enemy are set to release their third and most devastating album, Titan.

Some doubters said Backbone was a record that could not be made, but the 2019 lineup of Status Quo has been through a lot, they have chalked up 130 shows as a unit and travelled tens of thousands of miles. This is a group of musicians that is strong, that back each other up and are tighter than ever. Backbone features of a trio songs drawn from the classic partnership of Rossi / Young as well as contributions from all of the rest of the band.
The eleven track album was recorded at Francis' studio in the late months of 2018 and into this year. The sessions were initially just to keep the juices flowing, improvise and have fun. As the hours rolled on, songs stacked up, everyone began to believe that something special was happening. And so it proved. Even from within the group, there had been some resistance to creating a new record.
As Francis says, "This new material had to be seriously good. Quo have achieved so much and meant so much to too many people for the quality to slip now. Also, let’s face it, things have changed and we’re an easier target than ever.
"Losing Rick was hard to bear but, through Richie Malone, who was inspired to pick up a guitar by him, we can not only keep going but actually pick up the pace. The energy that he and Leon bring to Quo can’t be underestimated. I wasn’t sure I had another album in me but I couldn’t be more proud of ‘Backbone’. I hope the fans love it, but you can’t please everyone and I’m not going to start trying to now."
To have Backbone means to stand firm, to stand up for what you believe in. The title fits. The hundreds of songs recorded by Quo over half a century still resonate today, and the tracks on this album are a worthy addition to that incredible catalogue. A new Quo studio album is a cause for celebration, especially when it kicks like this one. And for the doubters? A Backbone is also a support, a unifying element that keeps things in shape. Underlying this new record are the core desires to keep creating, to be the best and to keep playing: these are the qualities that have kept Quo at the top for so long. Backbone will ensure that Francis Rossi and Quo keep standing proud. And, by naming the album Backbone, they’re ready for the 'Spinal Tap' headlines too!

Following on from the acclaimed "Follow Me" album, Swedish quintet LIV SIN, led by the unmistakeable vocals of Liv Jagrell (ex-SISTER SIN), the band returns with the powerful and hard-hitting album "Burning Sermons". Channeling their love of classic heavy metal with a bruising modern edge, "Burning Sermons" is a riff-heavy collection, showcasing the band's innate ability to match melody with aggressive metal with ease. Liv is in particularly fine form throughout, with a voice equally capable of capturing your heart as it is knocking buildings to the ground.
Just like with their previous album, the band invited a guest artist on "Burning Sermons" to sing with Liv in a memorable duet. On the focus track "Hope Begins To Fade", Liv was joined by Björn "Speed" Strid, the well-known singer of SOILWORK and THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA.
The band comments on the collaboration with Björn: "For a heavy bombastic song like 'Hope Begins To Fade' that features orchestral elements, we wanted to find a cool contrasting voice to Liv, and Björn's name came up when we were discussing guests for the album with our label. His deep growls and marvelous clear voice was the ultimate combination to lift this song to the next level and it fit seamlessly with Liv's tone. His impressive skills from actually both SOILWORK and THE NIGHT FLIGHT ORCHESTRA shines through here, which added that extra punch to the song. It was the perfect match!"

Gone In April, the symphonic melodic death metal ensemble including Testament bassist Steve DiGiorgio, haved issued a video for new track "Empire Of Loss". Their new album, Shards Of Light, is out now.
Earlier this year, Gone In April unveiled a music video for the song “The Curtain Will Rise", which was filmed and edited by Norwegian artist Thomas Mortveit. The track is taken from the band's second album, Threads of Existence, recorded at WaveTransform Studio, USA.
Commented by Gone in April: “This track is a very special one for the band and for the fans. In addition to carrying the theme of the second album, the fight to stay alive, it possesses a certain elegance that we wished to portray. We found the perfect blend of strength and elegance in the Historic Southern Railway Station, an old train station from 1903 located in Tennessee.”
Gone In April features musicians from Testament, Death, Quo Vadis, Märchenbilder and Vivaldi Metal Project and combines elements of symphonic, death, speed and folk metal in a compelling and aggressive blend sure to please a wide audience.
