Professionally filmed video footage of METALLICA performing the song "The Four Horsemen" on July 18 at Raadi Airfield in Tartu, Estonia can be seen below.
METALLICA's "WorldWired" tour has played more than 130 shows across the world since its 2016 kick-off.
Last November, drummer Lars Ulrich told The Mercury News that the trek could last through early 2020.
The San Francisco Bay Area metal giants have been touring in support of their latest album, "Hardwired… To Self-Destruct", which came out in November 2016.
With dates already locked in through the fall, Ulrich was asked if he is tired of touring yet. He replied: "We have the luxury, and we are very fortunate, to be able to set a touring schedule that works really well for us. We kind of set boundaries. We have a two-week rule, so that after two weeks we come home and see our families and kids and get a sense of San Francisco. So, for about a decade, we've had a really good setup in terms of how we balance all of it. It takes longer to play the same amount of dates. But the good news is that our chances for not losing our minds — or for playing all the shows, physically, mentally — are much higher, because we have a pace that we feel is at the right level for us. So, it's good. We still have to go to Australia. We still have to go to Japan. We have a couple of other things planned after Europe."
Following on the heels of their successful album Little Army, Cabadian rockers Headstones have once again been busy recording new music in Kingston, with plans to release a new record later this year. They have released a new single and lyric video, "Leave It All Behind", which can be viewed below.
After working at The Bathouse Studio, the band was inspired to release their version of the Gordon Lightfoot classic “The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald.” Always a song on their radar, circumstances finally clicked into place to give them the right opportunity to share their take with their fans.
This impactful interpretation of the iconic track chronicling the sinking of the bulk carrier SS Edmund Fitzgerald on Lake Superior on November 10, 1975 was a #1 hit for Lightfoot and remains one of his best-loved songs. While showing respect for the past, Headstones have put their unique spin on the song to introduce it to a whole new rock audience. The accompanying video was shot on location in Kingston, Ontario.
About the track the band says, “We’ve always loved this song. It’s profoundly meaningful. We started to play it during our tour VIP soundchecks, and our fans really responded to it…. The feedback was exceptional."
The official music video for "Elimination", a brand new song from Swedish metallers ENTOMBED A.D., can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's upcoming album, "Bowels Of Earth", which will be released on August 30 via Century Media.
Comments singer Lars-Göran Petrov: "Chainsaw guitars, feral vocals bark and raw blasting drums. Please disgust yourself with our new track and video for 'Elimination'!"
"Bowels Of Earth" track listing:
01. Torment Remains
02. Elimination
03. Hell Is My Home
04. Bowels Of Earth
05. Bourbon Nightmare
06. Fit For A King
07. Worlds Apart
08. Through The Eyes Of The Gods
09. I'll Never Get Out Of This World Alive (Hank Williams cover)
10. To Eternal Night
According to a press release, the follow-up to 2016's "Dead Dawn" "represents a huge leap forward for these gnarly veterans. Faster, tighter and more viscerally crushing than anything they have produced before."
Petrov said: "We have our Brazilian friend, Guilherme, coming into the band on guitar and we've been getting energy from that.
"This recording was a lot more focused and straightforward. We kept things simple, but still with thought behind everything. And there was absolutely no stress."
ENTOMBED A.D. was formed in 2014 when Petrov and other members of ENTOMBED decided to change the band's name in order to avoid a legal battle with ENTOMBED guitarist Alex Hellid who didn't want his former bandmates to use the ENTOMBED moniker.
"[ENTOMBED and ENTOMBED A.D. are] the same thing — just some minor complications on the way," Petrov told Finland's Rauta. "But we are here and playing music and headbanging, and that's the most important. But it's the same. It's the same."
Petrov added that he and his bandmates "don't think about" the slight alteration in the group's name. "We just let it roll. As long as we are out, nobody can stop us."
Asked what inspires him to make music and write lyrics these days, Petrov said: "It's boring to sit at home. [Laughs] No, you can always be productive and be out on tour and have no sleep. But that all doesn't matter when you come to the show and you see your brothers in metal. Then it's all worth it."
On the topic of ENTOMBED's musical evolution over the years, Petrov said: "As you go on in life, you experience new things, you wanna try out other things, and ENTOMBED has always tried to do that. Maybe more than for our own good sometimes, but now we're just going straightforward and we just do it again — over and over again. And as long as you don't get tired of it, you just continue. If you get tired of it, you should quit. You don't do it because… If you don't like it, step aside and let it roll."
Finnish heavy metal monsters LORDI will release their new DVD, "Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7", on DVD, vinyl and digipack on July 26 via AFM Records.
Besides the live cut of the show in Pratteln, Switzerland, recorded during LORDI's latest "Sextourcism" tour, the DVD provides a lot of bonus material, including some real rarities.
A performance clip of the song "Devil Is A Loser", taken from "Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7", can be seen below.
The live show itself has a playing time of two hours. "We just cut a little bit of my stupid announcements on stage," said Mr. Lordi about the impressive duration. "Apart from that, everything that happened this evening ended up on this DVD."
The choice of the Z7 is a matter of duration as well: There is no club that hosted LORDI as often as this one located next to the German border and for that reason, the club became something like a second home to the Finns over the years.
Though there are some live records of LORDI, "Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7" is the first official live DVD of the band, checked by the musicians, and was a plan that LORDI had been pursuing for years and finally put into practice during the "Sextourcism" tour. Mr. Lordi states: "I am very happy that we waited until the 'Sextourcism' tour, because we look amazing, the stage looks amazing and everything was perfect to create a stunning DVD."
The bonus material is stunning as well: Alongside a tour diary with LORDI, the DVD provides all of the official video clips the band ever made. Among them a real rarity, the very first official music video for "Inferno", which was made 1994 and was Mr. Lordi's final dissertation at the film academy. Besides production, location and the camera settings, Mr. Lordi was also responsible for writing, directing and editing the video and for costumes and the masks.
"That was the historical moment that the masks and costumes became an essential part of the band," he remembers. "Since it was my final dissertation, everyone was dressed up except me. When I saw the clip for the first time, I was, like, 'Fuck, everybody looks way cooler than I do.' It was supposed to be the other way around. That was the moment, I decided, to create the most elaborate costume for myself."
In the video to "Inferno", Mr. Lordi does not wear a mask. But since a real monster never loses face, the clip was censored afterwards. A retrospective edited mask had Mr. Lordi staying Mr. Lordi.
Award-winning singer-songwriter, musician and voice-over actor, Jason Charles Miller, has unveiled a new music video for his single ,"Get Thee Behind Me", which features guest performances by Dug Pinnick (King's X), 'Cowboy' Eddie Long and Duane Betts (son of founding Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts). The track is taken from Miller's recent album, In The Wasteland (Sony/Red Music), which combines elements of outlaw country, Americana and southern rock.
Filmed in the Southern California desert near the Salton Sea and directed by Andrew Fogel (The League of S.T.E.A.M.), the video alludes to the Christian story of the Temptation of Christ and contemplates the struggle of good versus evil. Watch below.
"Get thee behind me
'cause the devil won't show what he know you don't know"
"When writing the lyrics for this album, I was really inspired by the struggle of good versus evil," shares Miller. "Whether you're a Christian or not, most people are at least casually aware of the story of the Temptation of Christ, where Jesus wanders in the desert for 40 days and is tested and tempted by Satan. Taking more of a secular view of a very religious story, I decided to write the lyrics from Satan's point of view--how he kept getting more and more frustrated with Jesus and finally left. So of course I had to play Satan in the video, at least part of the time! The rest of the time I'm just myself, retracing the steps of what happened."
Miller elaborates: "To mix things up a bit, since visually the video looks very apocalyptic, we decided to add the four horsemen of the apocalypse: Conquest, War, Death and Famine, portrayed by four amazing women on motorcycles."
"Well he cast me down, to the underground
I'm gonna raise my throne, you're gonna hear my sound"
Maryland rockers CLUTCH have released a David Brodsky-directed video for their cover version of ZZ TOP's "Precious And Grace". The track, along with CLUTCH's previously issued rendition of the Willie Dixon 1950s classic "Evil" (later recorded by CACTUS), will be included on a collection of newly recorded songs, "Weathermaker Vault Series", to be made available this summer.
CLUTCH singer Neil Fallon comments: "It should be fairly obvious by now that CLUTCH are huge fans of ZZ TOP. They're a band that we grew up listening to — and we still listen to them to this day. 'Precious And Grace', from their classic 'Tres Hombres' LP, is easily one of our favorite ZZ TOP songs and that's really the only story behind the choice."
Drummer Jean-Paul Gaster told Cory Blose of TotalRock Radio's "The Valley" about "Weathermaker Vault Series": "We got into the studio early this year. After we finished another U.S. tour, we jumped in the studio and we recorded a selection of songs. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a full album. But the idea is just to release a few things throughout the rest of the year. And these will be completely just digital releases as well. We're sort of experimenting with that format — just releasing stuff for streaming purposes. And we'll see how that goes."
He continued: "It was fun to get in the studio, and we picked some songs that sort of all meant something to us in different ways. We also re-recorded a few CLUTCH classic songs, so those will be coming out as well. I suppose maybe in some ways it's sort of just a way to tide us over until we really get the juices flowing to record another album."
Gaster said that CLUTCH's insistence on recording and releasing new music comes from a pure place.
"As we all know, there's not a tremendous amount of money to be made in releasing albums anymore, so you have to do it because you wanna do it," he said. "And also too, it just gives us an opportunity to play some new stuff when we get out there on the road and play shows. We do not wanna be a band that gets up there and just plays the hits and that would be the end of it. This is not a nostalgia thing for us. For us, this is still very much a live working rock band. We have the desire to be creative and to play music, so we try to foster that in whatever way we can."
He added: "I can say a scenario where we'll release this collection of singles and maybe a few more, and then eventually we might put these all on a vinyl record and put them out.
CLUTCH's latest album, "Book Of Bad Decisions", was released last September. The record sold 26,000 copies in America during its first week of availability, giving the group its third consecutive Top 20 album on the Billboard 200.
"Book Of Bad Decisions" was recorded was completed at Sputnik Sound studio in Nashville, Tennessee with producer Vance Powell.
Continuing the fan frenzy they created last week when they released their mysterious video for brand new track "F***ing With My Head", Canadian rockers PALAYE ROYALE have released the clip for another brand new track, "Nervous Breakdown". Watch the video below.
The release of these two new tracks and their accompanying visuals heralds the transition into the next era of PALAYE ROYALE.
Both videos follow a story from the band's upcoming "Neutopian" graphic novel written and illustrated by the band's drummer, Emerson Barrett. They contain several hidden symbols and references to clues that the band have been including in videos and artwork since PALAYE ROYALE began. The band's rabidly obsessive fandom — The Soldiers Of The Royal Council mobilized en masse last week when the new video dropped providing their own theories on what it all means and who/what the mysterious Lieseil Inc is.
"Nervous Breakdown" takes fans even deeper down the rabbit hole of the utopian world being created by the band.
Speaking on the dawning of the new era, the band says: "'Nervous Breakdown' is the continuation of the story we started with the video for 'F***ing With My Head'. As the new era is beginning to be revealed, the viewer is cryptically introduced to Lieseil Inc and Warhol Stars.
"For the past seven years of our career, we have been hinting at this in lyrics, music videos and artwork. Like an existential maze for the fans to figure out and link together. Recently we have been posting in binary and Morse code leading the fans further into the secrets of the conceptual story. Every new piece of material released is a further insight into the world that we have created."
As well as joining the "Twins Of Evil: Hell Never Dies" tour, PALAYE ROYALE will also join MARILYN MANSON on two headline shows at Big Sky Brewing Company Missoula, Montana on July 30 and The Knitting Factory Concert House in Boise, Idaho on July 31.
PALAYE ROYALE has just returned to the U.S. from two weeks in Europe where they hit the major festival circuit with performances at legendary festivals such as Download, Isle Of Wight, Austria's Nova Rock and Pinkpop in the Netherlands. They also played a special, intimate charity show the infamous Borderline in London in aid of Nordoff Robbins, the largest independent music therapy charity in the U.K., dedicated to changing the lives of vulnerable and isolated people through the power of music. All proceeds from the show went to the charity.
The band's latest album, "Boom Boom Room Side B", was released in September 2018 via Sumerian Records.
Italian gothic folk band Elysium has released an official video for "Before The End", taken from their album Labyrinth Of Fallen Angels released via Lion Music. The video, shot in Dubai, was directed by Alex Kotov and Marzia Mete based on an idea by singer Daphne Nisi in collaboration with photography and filming done by the violinist Christian Arlechino.
Elysium was originally formed in Orvieto, Italy in early 2013 by bassist Marco Monetini, violinist Christian Arlechino, with the involvement of drummer Flavio Lovisa. From fall 2016, new members joined the band: singer Daphne Nisi, keyboard player Francesco Proietti and guitarist Simone Moratto, who have definitely changed the composition, giving a more powerful and metal sound to the band.

SUM 41 has dropped a fervent rock anthem today with "45 (A Matter of Time)" . An honest statement from frontman Deryck Whibley, the song is his way of expressing how he feels about the current state of the world in the aftermath of the latest presidential election.
"45 (A Matter Of Time)" joins previously released singles "Out For Blood", "Never There" and "A Death In The Family" from "Order In Decline", which is due out July 19 via Hopeless Records. Looking back at the band's storied 23-year career, this album is undoubtedly SUM 41's heaviest and most aggressive album to date, while also being their most dynamic and raw.
"Out For Blood" has landed the band in the Top 20 of a Billboard airplay chart for the first time since 2005. Currently holding the No. 17 spot on the Active Rock Radio chart, the lead single has also hit No. 1 at SiriusXM Octane, and has been streamed over 4.54 million times on Spotify while the music video has been viewed over 2.66 million times. Combined with the other released singles, "Order In Decline" has already accumulated nearly 7 million streams on Spotify.
Armed with the most honest and intimate songs of his career, Whibley poured everything he had into the upcoming album. Producing, engineering, and mixing the album in his home studio, he pain-stakingly crafted and fine-tuned each song, highlighted by fast and full riffs, guitar solos from lead guitarist/backing vocalist Dave Brownsound, harmonious chords from guitarist Tom Thacker and the heavy, heart-thumping rhythm section of bassist/backing vocalist Cone McCaslin and drummer Frank Zummo.
SUM 41 will co-headline the inaugural Rockstar Energy Drink Disrupt Festival this summer on select dates throughout the United States and Canada.
After over 15 million records sold worldwide, a Grammy Award nomination, two Juno Awards (seven nominations), a Kerrang! Award in 2002, as well as multiple Alternative Press Music Awards, SUM 41 is quite simply a rock band — uncompromising and honest with no intention of slowing down.
TURILLI/LIONE RHAPSODY — featuring original RHAPSODY members Luca Turilli and Fabio Lione, alongside former RHAPSODY members Dominique Leurquin, Patrice Guers and Alex Holzwarth — released its debut album, "Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)", on June 28 through Nuclear Blast (King Records in Japan and rest of Asia).

The contemporary cover artwork was designed by Stefan Heilemann (EPICA, PAIN, LINDEMANN), who has previously worked on both LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY records.

Luca states: "'Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)' is much more than an album title. It is a real band mantra underlining the evolution of a great artistic collaboration, a modern-day approach and the intention to evolve the band's sound to a new frontier, conceptually, musically and lyrically.
"This debut album will definitely present the multiple faces of our new band: modern ultra-heavy guitars, a vocal roller coaster inspired by QUEEN's masterworks, dramatic arrangements, breathing soundscapes enriched by ethnic music elements from different continents and surely the most emotional and intense lyrics we ever had. The new artwork realized by Heile represents the synthesis of such evolution and the deep heartfelt message related with it."
Adds Fabio: "'Zero Gravity (Rebirth And Evolution)' represents the perfect evolution of a musical vision we had, a great artistic collaboration to create a new fresh sound with amazing ideas, great production, hard work from great musicians and people involved and most importantly, a fantastic start for this new band. The new artwork realized by Heile represents the synthesis of such evolution in music and an amazing work that underlines the musical adventure you will have and feel listening to the record."
In support of the album, TURILLI/LIONE RHAPSODY set up a crowdfunding campaign to finance the recording process, through which it collected €60,000 (approximately $67,000) from its loyal and dedicated fanbase.

Australian deathcore masters THY ART IS MURDER will release their fifth album, "Human Target", on July 26 via Nuclear Blast and Human Warfare (Australia and New Zealand). The disc was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in Belleville, New Jersey. The artwork was once again painted by Eliran Kantor (HATEBREED, TESTAMENT, ICED EARTH, SODOM).
The official music video for the album's third single, "Make America Hate Again", can be seen below.
Guitarist Andy Marsh comments: "Whilst we collectively identify as a left-leaning band, this song was not written to attack those who sit on the right side of the political sphere, but as a commentary on the tactics employed by both campaigns in the most recent U.S. presidential election. These crusades of social warfare would surely succeed in one result regardless of the victor, making people hate one another. The blood lust of the political spectator, armed with Fox, CNN and an iPhone, was satiated with aggressive slander-filled debate and fake radicalized propaganda masquerading as news, where both sides of the field rallied to provoke. Identity politics spread like the wildfires of California, smoking out people of all creeds to be branded as red or blue.
"Those on the regressive left may indeed have as much to answer for as their far-right opponents for creating a heaving divide in the space of public discourse, and a sustaining sense of animosity among communities around America and abroad," he continued.
"Polarizing leaders like Trump are, in part, a result of who we have become. Disconnected."
The "Make America Hate Again" video was directed by Max Moore, who has previously worked with KNOCKED LOOSE and CODE ORANGE.

THY ART IS MURDER vocalist CJ McMahon left the band in 2015 over financial woes and substance-abuse issues. The frontman has since returned to the fold for 2017's "Dear Desolation" album.
Last year, CJ McMahon told Exclaim! that he hates it when THY ART IS MURDER is lumped in with the "cliché hashtag" of deathcore music.
"We all listen to so many different styles of music," he said. "That's what makes us unique; that we're so in touch with music as a whole.
"We're just writing music that we want to play and hear," he explained. "If people aren't going to give us a chance because they've heard someone call us a deathcore band, I really don't give a fuck. It is mindblowing that people will put shit on you without listening to your band just because of a genre's name. It's just a strange thing, man. I really don't get it."

The new Gyze album, Asian Chaos, will be released on July 10th via Out Of Line Music. The official video for the title track is available below.
Although Gyze is active overseas and targeting western market, with the new album, Asian Chaos, the main composer of the band Ryoji decided to highlight his Japanese identity. An amazing and unpredictable collaboration was born : being proud of his origins, he invited musicians of Gagaku - world oldest orchestra - to perform on a few tracks, introducing such traditional Japanese wind instruments as Sho, Hichirik and Ryuteki . The glory of lyrical melodies of Gagaku, combined with unique Japanese scale and integrated with heavy metal creates the unrivaled transcendent sound album showing how cool pure Japanese traditional music actually is. The new album is meant to leave the strong impression highliting originality of Gyze.
Asian Chaos includes a song in collaboration with a DragonForce vocalist Marc Hudson. Gyze has played with DragonForce on festivals and on their Asian tour where the bands became friends, so when Ryoji asked if Marc was interested to do guest vocals for the song he supported the idea. Look forward to find out what spice did Marc add to the song "The Rising Dragon"
Also, a bonus track for Japan edition is a cover of the iconic "Forever Love" by X Japan. Look forward to hear GYZE interpretation of this legendary song.
Fan-filmed video footage of DEADLAND RITUAL's June 21 performance at the Azkena Rock Festival in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Spain can be seen below.
DEADLAND RITUAL is the new band featuring bassist Geezer Butler (BLACK SABBATH), guitarist Steve Stevens (BILLY IDOL, VINCE NEIL), drummer Matt Sorum (GUNS N' ROSES, VELVET REVOLVER) and singer Franky Perez (APOCALYPTICA).
DEADLAND RITUAL's setlist consists of several original tracks alongside classic songs from the members' previous bands, including BLACK SABBATH's "Symptom Of The Universe", "Neon Knights" and "Sweet Leaf", VELVET REVOLVER's "Slither" and BILLY IDOL's "Rebel Yell".
Speaking about the "supergroup" tag that has been attached to DEADLAND RITUAL, Butler said: "We don't class ourselves as a supergroup, 'cause… I don't know. It's a bit of a vacant term for me. We're just four blokes getting together, having fun at the moment and writing some good stuff. But so far, because Steve has been still on tour with Billy Idol, we've been having to write stuff in between these tours with Billy Idol at the moment. So we'll have more time to get everything together when his tour is finished."
DEADLAND RITUAL recently released its first two songs, "Down In Flames" and "Broken And Bruised". Both tracks, which were produced by Greg Fidelman (METALLICA, SLIPKNOT), were made available via Sonik Riot Records/AWAL powered by Kobalt.
"We're basically an independent band right now — no record deal yet, but there's some labels talking to us," Sorum said. "It's great we're out playing these new songs, 'cause once we go in and record them, they'll be live-tested, if you will, and then hopefully will go down on record as a really cool version of what we've been doing live."
Butler went on to say that there is no long-term plan for DEADLAND RITUAL at the moment. "We're just going to see how it goes," he said. "We've written seven songs up to now, so we have to get those recorded. We've got quite a few record companies interested. But at first, it was 'have a jam, and let's do some festivals.' But it seems to have gone beyond that, people are taking it more seriously now. So if things work out with the gigs that we do we'll carry on. I'm excited about it. I really like the music we're doing, not restricted to any kind of formula. And as I say, each track stands on its own, different in its own way. I'm really looking forward looking to it."
DEADLAND RITUAL made its live debut on May 28 at the Troubadour in West Hollywood, California.
Here's Riot V presented a live version from the glorious song "Warrior" taken from the DVD "Live In Japan 2018" out on 2nd August via AFM Records in Europe, Ward in Japan/
Electronic beats merge into stoic rhythms, danceable melodies sing about the hidden aspects inside, and metal riffs quicken the pulse: Schattenmann mixes the brute force of Neue Deutsche Härte with rock and electro elements of different styles - just to create a new genre, already set as the mark of the young band from Germany: NDH 2.0. A unique feature that made Schattenmann capturing the Gothic culture easily. Their new album, Epidemie, will be released via AFM Records on July 5th. A video for the title track is streaming below.

According to a press release, the follow-up to 2016's "Dead Dawn" "represents a huge leap forward for these gnarly veterans. Faster, tighter and more viscerally crushing than anything they have produced before."
Singer Lars-Göran Petrov said: "We have our Brazilian friend, Guilherme, coming into the band on guitar and we've been getting energy from that.
"This recording was a lot more focused and straightforward. We kept things simple, but still with thought behind everything. And there was absolutely no stress."
Last summer, ENTOMBED A.D. released a new single, "Fit For A King".
Lordi will release Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7 on DVD, vinyl and digipak on July 26 via AFM Records. Pre-order here, and watch a video for "The Riff" below.
Besides the live cut of the show in Pratteln, Switzerland during their Sextourcism tour, the DVD provides a lot of bonus material, including some real rarities.
The live show itself has a playing time of two hours. "We just cut a little bit of my stupid announcements on stage“, said Mr.
Though there are some live records of Lordi, Recordead Live - Sextourcism In Z7 is the first official live DVD of the band, checked by the musicians, and was a plan that Lordi had been pursuing for years and finally put into practice during the Sextourcism tour. Mr. Lordi states: "I am very happy that we waited until the Sextourcism tour, because we look amazing, the stage looks amazing and everything was perfect to create a stunning DVD."
"That was the historical moment that the masks and costumes became an essential part of the band“, he remembers. "Since it was my final dissertation, everyone was dressed up except me. When I saw the clip for the first time, I was like Fuck, everybody looks way cooler than I do - it was supposed to be the other way around. That was the moment, I decided, to create the most elaborate costume for myself.“
In the video to "Inferno", Mr. Lordi does not wear a mask. But since a real monster never loses face, the clip was censored afterwards. A retrospective edited mask had Mr. Lordi staying Mr. Lordi.
Since their stunning victory at Euro Vision song contest in 2006, the Finnish monster rocker Lordi are omni present. With charm, exciting melodies and elaborate and crazy monster costumes the unconventional formation rocked over all Europe. With their new studio album Sexorcism, released in spring 2018 and one of the most successful in the band's history, Lordi returned with new costumes and a wonderful live show that now is caught in moving pictures, released in July.
