Stella Lost comes from the south end of Texas of bellowing heat, as does their music and stage presence. Formed in 2012, the current lineup consists of Rudy Martinez (rhythm guitar), Mike Angel (vocals), Ram Salas (guitars/leads), Daniel Duran (drums), and Joe Morales (bass).
After performing locally in South Texas, and various lineup changes, they released a mini LP named Everything Is Old Again through Pavement Entertainment in November 2015. This release was embarking on something great. It was a synopsis of a dark wave of melodic overtones with personal lyrical content that the band could embrace as their own.
Through hard work and various regional dates, Stella Lost gained momentum, thus being able to create their second eight-track record, Figures. The songs have come of age since the last LP but remain fresh. Figures is the sound that today's rock has been missing, which is substance and clarity that takes the listener into various moods while still being captivated with strong hooks.
The single, "Figures," depicts anxieties experienced in the modern age. On the single, Rudy Martinez says, "Fear and uncertainty inspired us to write this song, thus creating a brighter future." Check out the music video below.

Chicago-based heavy rock outfit SOIL will release "Scream: The Essentials" on September 15 via Pavement Entertainment and AFM Records. Celebrating the band's twenty-year career, this release will feature tracks from their humble beginnings, rise to fame, and also include alternate versions and mixes.
A brand-new track, "Gimme Some Lovin'", will be featured on the compilation and has just been released as a single and video. "Gimme Some Lovin'" originally made its onscreen debut in the cult classic motion picture "The Blues Brothers" in 1980. Being primarily a rhythm-and-blues-based song, SOIL took it upon themselves to add their own personal touch and bring the song into a modern 2017 hard rock element.
"Vocally, I really had a good time with the song," states vocalist Ryan McCombs. "It was a bit left field to what I’m accustomed to singing, but with the added touches we put on it, the song fell right into place."
Contributing to those "added touches" were guest backing vocalists Lindy Gabriel (GABRIEL AND THE APOCALYPSE) and Cristina Feliciano (OBLIVIOUS SIGNAL), along with guest keyboardist Jake LaCore (GABRIEL AND THE APOCALYPSE).
"I consider Lindy and Cristina two of the absolute best up-and-coming female vocalists out there," says bassist Tim King. "And with being all from the same USA record label (Pavement Entertainment), it was a great way to keep everything in the family." The result is a perfect nod to the band's Chicago heritage, with a classic blues-based song that mixes a whole lotta rock, metal, and female fury pumped into the mix.
Other songs exclusive to this release include an acoustic version of the song "Can You Heal Me" from the album "Re.de.fine". This version was recorded at Dimebag Darrell's home studio in 2004 after SOIL had completed a European tour with DAMAGEPLAN. At the helm were Sterling Whitfield engineering and Vinnie Paul Abbott producing the track. "Those sessions are such a blur, as it was mandatory to record while drinking lots of booze at Dime's studio," says King. "But somehow we got through them. Great times and memories (from what we can still recall!) came from that session. A lot of drunken love on those tracks."
Another special track on the album is a version of the song "Give It Up" that features the late Wayne Static from STATIC-X singing verses, choruses, and a bridge section in the song. This version leaked out to radio and met with some great underground success but was never properly released until now.
With the recent passing of Chris Cornell (an early influence on SOIL), the band decided to pay homage and add their version of the classic SOUNDGARDEN song "Rusty Cage" to the compilation. "Rusty Cage" was recorded in 2007 and previously only available on the band's MySpace page.
SOIL will embark on a world tour in support of the new release throughout 2017 and 2018.
"Immortal Melancholy", the new video from Dutch symphonic metallers EPICA, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's forthcoming EP, "The Solace System", which will be released on September 1 via Nuclear Blast.
With their latest masterpiece, EPICA set new standards. 2016's "The Holographic Principle" is the most epochal, multi-layered, courageous and successful record of the band, reaching top 10 chart position entries in the German, Dutch and Swiss album charts. Accordingly, all the tracks written for the album process are high quality, but not all songs have been put on the album. "This is only based on the fact that the record should not exceed 76 minutes," explains guitarist/vocalist Mark Jansen. Since the band didn't like the idea of a double CD, they finally decided to release an EP with six brand-new numbers, which were created during the creative phase of "The Holographic Principle". "The Solace System" track listing:
01. The Solace System02. Fight Your Demons03. Architect Of Light04. Wheel Of Destiny05. Immortal Melancholy06. Decoded Poetry
Mark states about the songs: "The listeners can expect a high-quality EP — with songs that are far too good to use them only as bonus tracks. We wanted to publish these songs together in a context. It is always hard to decide at the end of a recording process which songs will be on the album, because this means that you have to miss some songs with best quality, just because they do not fit quite well into the overall flow of the record or because there are other songs that are more suited to the lyrics." "The Solace System" was recorded, mixed and mastered by Joost van den Broek and Jacob Hansen.
EPICA vocalist Simone Simons comments on the EP: "During the early writing process of 'The Holographic Principle', we found out that we were blessed with a huge amount of songs. The songs that didn't fit on our album are now available for you on this special EP! I hope you guys will enjoy these songs as much as we do!"
And if that wasn't enough, you'll be also able to purchase the new EP, "The Solace System", together with the CD of their recent studio album, "The Holographic Principle" as a box set. It will be called "The Holographic Principle - The Ultimate Edition".
In other news, Nuclear Blast re-released two ancient albums of EPICA, "Design Your Universe" and "The Divine Conspiracy", on vinyl on August 18. Each album is available in two different colors.
Swedish modern melodic metallers AMARANTHE have released a video for "Maximize", the opening track of the band's "Maximalism" album, released in October 2016.
A stylistically different choice from previous AMARANTHE clip, this video shows a more intimate and raw side to the band, letting the band and its performance speak for itself without any effects or extras. Shot in Helsinki by director Ville Juurikkala (BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, HIM, SONATA ARCTICA), "Maximize" demonstrates a band oozing with confidence after nearly a thousand shows in just a few years, and puts a tasteful touch of minimalism to "Maximalism".
The video was shot before AMARANTHE recruited their latest singer, Nils Molin. However, Nils will be featured in all the band's upcoming releases.
AMARANTHE guitarist Olof Mörck comments on the video: "'Understated' is not what you usually associate AMARANTHE with — but seeing the raw emotion and personalities combined with 'Maximize', I was convinced that we captured part of the essence of the AMARANTHE live machine. Ladies and gentlemen, this is AMARANTHE at its rawest and most distilled form! See you all on the road this fall, as the 'Maximalism' world invades a city near you!"
In other news, AMARANTHE's "1.000.000 Lightyears" single has reached gold status in Sweden and "Hunger" and "Amaranthine" have both been certified gold in Finland.
DYNAZTY's Nils Molin last month officially joined AMARANTHE as the replacement for the recently departed singer Joacim "Jake E" Lundberg.
Having previously used Chris Adam Hedman Sörbye from the band SMASH INTO PIECES as a stand-in for Jake on some of the shows in 2016 and earlier this year, AMARANTHE recruited Molin for three Swedish concerts in March and he has been part of the group's live appearances ever since.
Jake E announced his departure from AMARANTHE in February, explaining at the time that he began to feel that "my place both on the albums and live was reduced; I felt like I was superfluous… I started to feel more like a backing singer." He has since launched a new band called CYHRA with former IN FLAMES members Peter Iwers (bass) and Jesper Strömblad (guitar) alongside LUCA TURILLI'S RHAPSODY drummer Alex Landenburg,
"Maximalism" was produced once again by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, EPICA, DELAIN) and mastered by Svante Forsbäck (RAMMSTEIN, APOCALYPTICA, DRAGONFORCE).
Catch AMARANTHE on tour in Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Brazil and South America this fall as well as playing a one-off show in the U.S. as part of the ProgPower USA festival in early September.
Berlin, Germany-based rock overlords KADAVAR have released the official video for their new track, "Into The Wormhole". The clip was shot at Sphaèros Art Cave in Paris and was directed by Luizo Vega (Studio V). The video concept was developed by drummer Tiger and features AQUA NEBULA OSCILLATOR vocalist David Sphaèros.
Tiger commented: "The darkness that surrounds us when reality seems like a big black hole, those times when we try to turn around trying to escape the gravity of modern life looking for the shortcut to a more pleasant one, our biggest wish is that wormholes do exist and can take us to another dimension. A place where our thoughts are not poisoned and our souls can resonate freely. Playing music together has always been an attempt to enter this rare state of mind where everything is fine for just a second.
"While 'Into The Wormhole' is rather slow and possibly the heaviest song we have ever written, it philosophies about the shortcuts to enter the state of bliss at speed of light, the wormhole.
"Our history with our french buddies in AQUA NEBULA OSCILLATOR goes far behind and each of us has tried in their own way to find salvation through music. This is why I've had the idea to ask singer and main brain David Sphaèros to open the doors to his infamous caves in the Parisian underground for us to collaborate for this video. Being able to get Luizo Vega on board as a director, who has just worked on 'Dracula's Not Dead', pushed the whole thing just in the right direction."
"Into The Wormhole" is taken from KADAVAR's new album, "Rough Times", which will be released on September 29 via Nuclear Blast.
Babylon A.D. are one of the few hard rock bands from the late '80s/early '90s that are still operating with all of their original members: Derek Davis, vocalist/songwriter, guitarists and songwriters, John Matthews and Ron Freschi, drummer Jamey Pacheco and bassist Robb Reid. The band formed in 1987 and to celebrate their 30th anniversary, will release their new album, Revelation Highway, on November 10th. A video for the first song from the album, "Crash And Burn”, is available for streaming below.
Vocalist Derek Davis on the new album: "This record kicks ass, from the opening track 'Crash And Burn' to the last track 'Saturday Night'. The band had a blast making the album and a lot had to do with original founding member lead-guitarist John Matthews rejoining the band. He really lit the fire that got the bands blood pumping to make a new record. For me it was awesome to produce and mix such a cool record. It's very hard hitting yet melodic, with some great lyrical story telling and great stand out tracks like, 'One Million Miles', 'Tears', 'Rags To Riches, and 'She Likes To Give It'. The songs are so catchy and memorable on the first listen I know our fans are gonna love it! And of course there are some burning guitar leads to keep the metal heads happy. The band is very grateful that Frontiers Music Srl listened to the tracks and felt the same way about them as we do and offered us the opportunity to get this record out. We can't wait to hit the road and play the material live."
Featuring 10 tracks of the energetic classic hard rock the band is known for, Revelation Highway is sure to please fans of the band's classic early material. The band will play shows in the UK and Germany this August/September to kick off promotion for the album with more touring planned both in the US and UK/Europe.

Miami, Florida-based outfit Loaded Guns have signed with Century Media Records. To commemorate the occasion, the band has released their new EP, Unstoppable, today (August 25th).
Speaking about signing with their new label, Loaded Guns frontman Rafael Salazar comments, “We are beyond excited to have one of favorite record labels, Century Media Records, releasing our debut EP. It has been a long time coming, but they've put in so much hard work and care into our band and this release. We couldn’t ask for a better team to work with!”
Loaded Guns' new EP, Unstoppable, is available now for purchase online here. The band’s video for "Bring Us Down" can be seen below.
Discussing the music video, Salazar adds, “We are very excited for everyone to finally see the music video for ‘Bring Us Down’. The song was written by my brother & I when we were going through a time where we felt a lot of criticism in different aspects of life. We wanted to write something that spoke exactly how we felt and to remind us to always work to overcome anything that tries to bring us down. This song is about rising above and overcoming the hatred or negativity we deal with in the world today."
Speaking about Unstoppable, Salazar (lead vocals) delves deeper, stating: “I can honestly say we have never wrote a set of more meaningful songs than we have with our new EP ‘Unstoppable’. Personally, I was at a point in my life where I was in a particularly tough spot and had a lot to get off my chest. We spent a lot of time and hard work into this release to specifically capture the right vibes for each individual song. Not only can I not wait for the world to hear our new EP, but to also be able to relate to it.”
American progressive metal act, The Contortionist, have released a new music video for their track “Return To Earth”. “When making the 'Return to Earth' video we wanted to make sure it was cohesive in concept with 'Reimagined’,” says vocalist Michael Lessard.
Directed by Erez Bader and produced by Lessard himself, the video is the band’s second from their forthcoming LP due out in mid-September.
“We made sure we took our time with the process. This video picks up where 'Reimagined' left off, and can actually be played in succession with it. We couldn't be more pleased with the continuity and end result!”
"Return To Earth" is the third track the band has released from Clairvoyant behind "Absolve" and "Reimagined”. The three tracks are available on all streaming services and will serve as iTunes Instant Gratification tracks, meaning, fans who pre order the LP via iTunes receive all three as instant downloads.
The Contortionist will release Clairvoyant on September 15th via Entertainment One Music / Good Fight Music. The new LP is the follow-up to Language, the genre defying LP that continues to garner critical acclaim. Clairvoyant, which reunited the band with producer Jamie King (Between The Buried And Me, Through The Eyes Of The Dead), takes the best elements of The Contortionist’s past and reshapes them as the band follows their individual creative muses toward the future.
"Whatever It Takes", the new video from HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD, can be seen below. The band's own Charlie Scene co-directed the clip and remarked: "The song is about being driven by your own determination to succeed no matter what anyone else thinks. I wanted the video to show that same message."
"Whatever It Takes" is taken from HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD's fifth full-length album, "V" (Five), which will be released on October 27.
"We're five brothers, and this is our fifth record," affirms HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD's Johnny 3 Tears. "Nothing gets to the essence of the music like this number does. Numerology has a lot of power. When we said 'Five', it just made sense. The fact that we could all agree on one word codifies who we are. It also nods back to 'No. 5' from our first album, because it was our fifth song. Moreover, it hints at this secret society of fans supporting us for the past decade. The number is significant, and this is a significant moment for us."
HOLLYWOOD UNDEAD has also announced a new set of dates in support of "V", which will begin on September 30 at the Louder Than Life festival. For all U.S. headline shows, BUTCHER BABIES will serve as direct support.
"Steambreather", the new video from Atlanta progressive metallers MASTODON, can be seen below. The song taken from the band's latest album, "Emperor Of Sand", which debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 album chart. The follow-up to 2014's "Once More 'Round The Sun" was recorded at The Quarry Recording Studio in Kennesaw, just outside MASTODON's hometown, with producer Brendan O'Brien (PEARL JAM, NEIL YOUNG, AC/DC, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE), who first worked with MASTODON on their seminal 2009 album "Crack The Skye".
"Emperor Of Sand" finds MASTODON returning to a deeply imaginative and complex conceptual storyline that ponders the nature of time. Threading together the myth of a man sentenced to death in a majestically malevolent desert, the band conjures the grains of a musical and lyrical odyssey slipping quickly through a cosmic hourglass.
"'Emperor of sand' is like the grim reaper," says drummer/vocalist Brann Dailor. "Sand represents time. If you or anyone you know has ever received a terminal diagnosis, the first thought is about time. Invariably, you ask, 'How much time is left?'"
"We're reflecting on mortality," adds bassist/vocalist Troy Sanders. "To that end, the album ties into our entire discography. It's seventeen years in the making, but it's also a direct reaction to the last two years. We tend to draw inspiration from very real things in our lives."
"Rat Hole", the new video from VIXEN frontwoman Janet Gardner, can be seen below. The track, which was inspired by Gardner's frustration with health care insurance companies, is taken from her self-titled debut solo album, released last week via Pavement Entertainment.
"Janet Gardner" is a collaboration between the singer, who works days as a part-time dental hygienist, and her husband, guitarist/producer Justin James, who has previously worked with STAIND, COLLECTIVE SOUL and TYKETTO.
"It sort of happened honestly," Gardner told Billboard. "We set up a studio in our new house (in Connecticut) and we were both down there fiddling around, and eventually we started to exchange ideas. We probably had written about five songs and thought, 'This is working pretty good. What are we gonna do with this?'" Gardner and James initially thought about another group or duo name. "Then we said let's call it my solo album. Why not? I've never done one. Even though it is a really strong collaboration, let's call it that."
Gardner described her solo debut to Unrated Magazine as "a very diverse collection of music. Justin and I combined forces with hard rock influences from the last four decades," she said. " If you like the seventies, the song 'The Good Or The Bye' is the song for you. If you like the eighties, 'If You Want Me', 'Candle' and 'Hippycrite' are for you. If you like the nineties, you might dig 'Your Problem Now' and 'The Grind', but they all have a common thread that is simply our sound together."
Regarding how the songwriting process for the album compared to that in VIXEN, Gardner said: "Every creative relationship is different. Justin and I are married, so we obviously have tons of trust in one another. No one has any expectations of us, so we have a lot of freedom to do whatever we want. With VIXEN, we have an established musical style, so there is always that 'Is this right for VIXEN?' question looming over the writing process, but we have known each other for years, so it's very comfortable to present ideas."
"Janet Gardner" track listing:
01. Rat Hole02. Hippycrite03. If You Want Me04. Candle05. Your Problem Now06. Let It Be Over07. Lost08. The Grind09. Best Friend10. The Good Or The Bye
"Isolation", the new video from British doom metal mavens WITH THE DEAD, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's second album, "Love From With The Dead", which will be released on September 22 via Rise Above Records. Comprising tracks recorded during two separate sessions with celebrated studio guru Jaime Gomez Arellano, the new material represents the first fruits of the band's recently retooled lineup. Joining former CATHEDRAL/NAPALM DEATH frontman and Rise Above Records boss Lee Dorrian and ex-ELECTRIC WIZARD/RAMESSES bassist/guitarist Tim Bagshaw are bassist Leo Smee and drummer Alex Thomas, who replaces the departed Mark Greening.
Formed in 2014 by Dorrian and Bagshaw, the band coalesced in a monetary burst of spontaneity and shared fury, resulting in the release of their eponymous debut album in 2015: one of that year's most widely acclaimed releases and a welcome shot in the arm for fans of merciless, unrelenting sonic despair.
For those who flinched at the sheer, unforgiving brutality of WITH THE DEAD's first record, the songs on "Love From With The Dead" are liable to cause major emotional trauma. Darker, denser, more despondent and sickeningly heavy in numerous senses of the word, this is an album that re-establishes doom as a genre that embraces the extreme and not just some cozy, nostalgic reimagining of the early '70s. "Love From With The Dead" grimly extinguishes the light of hope and hammers home the hatred and futility that plagues our brief and brittle lives. "The thinking was that the first LP was meant to be the heaviest we could possibly make, but then what do you next?" Lee muses. "Well, the only thing you can do is make the next one even heavier. So that was the ambition and the intention, to make it even more crushing. But to be able to do that you have to be crushed yourself. This last couple of years have been quite soul-destroying. There's been a lot of personal shit going on, and during this whole process so much fucking bad shit has happened in my personal life and other people's personal lives. Everything you hear on this LP, the angst is very real. I've never felt so disillusioned with life and the world around me, not since the first CATHEDRAL album." He continues: "I'm fifty next year and you're supposed to mellow out when you get older, but why? I don't feel like mellowing out. The world's getting worse, the atmosphere is getting heavier, people treat each other like shit and there's so much negativity, how are you supposed to chill out when all that's going on? I'm in a privileged position to be able to be in a band like this, so why fuck around? The band's called WITH THE DEAD and it's a doom band, why would you want to mellow out? It's got to be pure nihilism or nothing." "Love From With The Dead" track listing:

Arch Enemy have revealed the second single, "The Eagle Flies Alone", taken from their forthcoming album, Will To Power, due out on September 8th via Century Media. You can pre-order physical and digital formats here.
Band leader Michael Amott comments: "Strangely enough, this is a song I wrote in sunny Mexico last year, but fear not - Arch Enemy hasn't gone Mariachi on you! On the contrary, this song is steeped in classic metal and melancholic Scandinavian atmosphere. Lyrically, this is an anthemic warcry to all fellow individualists around the heavy metal world. We shot the video with our director Patric Ullaeus in Sweden on the coldest outdoor shoot I can recall ever doing! The end result was totally worth it, it turned out beautifully. I guess sometimes you really have to suffer for the art!"
Will To Power promises to be the ultimate statement of heavy metal supremacy and will mark the first album the band have recorded with their current line-up - Alissa White-Gluz (vocals), Michael Amott (guitars), Jeff Loomis (guitars), Sharlee D’Angelo (bass), and Daniel Erlandsson (drums). The album was co-produced by Amott and Erlandsson, while being mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren.
Will To Power's captivating cover artwork was designed by Alex Reisfar.
Michael Amott commented on the artwork: "It was a pleasure working with Alex Reisfar on the Will To Power cover artwork, he immediately grasped the concept and atmosphere we were looking for with this album. We talked about the double edged sword that is human ambition, how it can be outstandingly creative and beautiful but can also be turned into something dark and powerful. Alex proceeded to masterfully paint a strong image that evokes a lot of feelings. The human skull as a central focal point, the flesh sort of falling off into the circular pattern. The snake ouroboros weaving in and out of the mouths and throats of the severed heads of a wolf, a goat and a vampire bat... All representing self determination and a predatory, almost parasitic will to power.”

GHOST's official video for the song "He Is" can be seen below. The clip was helmed by Brooklyn-based director Zev Deans, who has previously worked with BEHEMOTH and PALLBEARER.
GHOST lead singer and founder Tobias Forge — who performs as Papa Emeritus and does the act's interviews disguised as a member of his backing band of Nameless Ghouls — recently told the Albuquerque Journal that even as he is preparing to record GHOST's fourth studio album, he's thinking about the one after that. He explained: "It's a pick and mix of a lot of different ideas and stuff laying around, a lot of new stuff being added to the pile. Yeah, it's a constant thinking ahead, and now, already now, I'm thinking about album number five, because there are songs coming out now or coming up being written that I feel like that won't fit into the new album, so I'll put that one on to the next one instead."
Forge hinted at the lyrical themes of the next record, saying: "Having in mind that the previous record was about the absence of God or the absence of deities, this new one is going to be about the return of God. You know God's wrath cast upon the suffering humans, so it will be a little bit more biblical in that sense, which in turn makes it darker, a little bit more apocalyptic, I think."
GHOST has just entered the studio to begin recording the new LP. The follow-up to 2015's "Meliora" is expected out sometime early next year.
"If everything goes to plan, by the end of the year we will have a new record recorded, mixed, mastered, delivered, and if nothing happens, we can still aim at an April release," Forge told the Dallas Observer. "The plan as of right now is to come back to America in April or May [of 2018]. We have a tendency to do American tours in April, so we like that tradition. It's a good one and we'd like to keep doing that."
The official video for the song "Afterlife" from SWEET & LYNCH — the band featuring guitarist/vocalist Michael Sweet of STRYPER, legendary guitarist George Lynch (DOKKEN, LYNCH MOB), bassist James LoMenzo (MEGADETH, WHITE LION, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) and drummer Brian Tichy (THE DEAD DAISIES, WHITESNAKE) — can be seen below. The track is taken from SWEET & LYNCH's sophomore album, "Unified", which will be released on November 10 via Frontiers Music Srl.
Says Sweet: "George and I couldn't be more excited about this album! We've worked very hard to bring you the best of both worlds — a throwback of the chart-topping STRYPER/DOKKEN days yet with a modern production that fits right in with anything out there now in the rock world today.
"We couldn't be more proud than to be working with Brian Tichy and James LoMenzo again as they are the best rhythm section you'll ever hear.
"If you liked SWEET & LYNCH I, you're going to love 'Unified'."
"Unified" track listing:
01. Promised Land02. Walk03. Afterlife04. Make Your Mark05. Tried & True06. Unified07. Find Your Way08. Heart Of Fire09. Bridge Of Broken Lies10. Better Man11. Live To Die
Michael previously said that SWEET & LYNCH was formed when Frontiers president Serafino Perugino approached him "to sing and write for what [Serafino] was referring to as a 'supergroup' project — (one of the first) that Frontiers would be putting together and releasing. I was, of course, not only intrigued by the idea but also humbled that he would ask me! Jon Levin [DOKKEN] was suggested as the possible guitarist and I suggested to Serafino getting the man himself, Mr. Scary [George Lynch] involved. Serafino was, of course, excited about the idea. Frontiers has told me how happy they are with my production on the new STRYPER albums, so I immediately suggested producing as well. Serafino also agreed. I contacted George [as soon as possible] and he quickly agreed to be a part of this exciting project. It was decided that he and I would co-write everything together and that I would produce."
Sweet, who is a devout Christian, also talked about his working relationship with George, who considers himself to be a freethinker/atheist.
"You may ask how does an atheist and a Christian work together in a band situation? The answer is respect. Although I don't agree with George's spiritual/religious views (and he doesn't agree with mine, assumedly), we respect each other as musicians, friends and human beings.
"I'm free to do many things with the hope that maybe, just maybe, my life might have a profound effect on people I come in contact with.
"I've spoken with George many times over and he always strikes me as a genuine soul and someone who cares for and loves people. Bottom line? He's a great guy and I'm proud to be a part of this with George.
"Although we don't see eye to eye in our beliefs, we respect each other enough to not let that come between us."
Lynch concurred, telling Antihero Magazine: "There could potentially be a conflict there between Michael and I, and we've talked about that. I'm sort of a freethinking atheist, and he's a born-again Christian. I've been through that in my life; I was a born-again Christian at one point. I was the guy knocking on your door handing out tracks. I played in a Pentecostal charismatic band that did revivals… tent revivals in black neighborhoods in South Central L.A. — yeah, all kinds of stuff. I definitely have something to say about all that, but I don't know how effective I am at it. I'm not RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE. I wish I was."
SWEET & LYNCH's debut album, "Only To Rise", was released in January 2015 via Frontiers Music Srl.
