Hamilton, New Zealand-based rock/metal act, Devilskin, have released their new single, the grand and majestic “Fade”, from the album We Rise.
Following the empowerment and self-belief of the singles “Start A Revolution” and the introspective “Never See The Light”, sonically softer than its predecessors, “Fade” is just as relevant and just as powerful.
“Fade” was one of the first songs they wrote together as a band and they believe, “its genesis really propelled Devilskin onto bigger and better things.”
Shot on a cold wooded beach out of Auckland, Devilskin wanted the beauty of nature as a backdrop to capture all the elements of the song, “beauty, mystique, power, passion and hurt.” The stark colour grading is crucial and highlights the mood and intensity of “Fade”.
“Fade” along with “Never See The Light” and “Start A Revolution” are taken from their debut album, We Rise. The album debuted at #1 in New Zealand and became the first album since 2010 by a domestic rock band to achieve Platinum status, while the critics have lauded its UK release.
We Rise has now been in the NZ Albums chart for 100 weeks while the videos for We Rise, have amassed over in excess of 1.82 million views on YouTube.
Devilskin are currently mixing their new album and plan to return to the UK and Europe early 2017.
"My Night Sky", the new video from California's groove metal juggernauts DEVILDRIVER, can be seen below. The track is taken from the band's seventh studio album, "Trust No One", which was released on May 13 via Napalm Records. The follow-up to 2013's "Winter Kills" was once again produced by Mark Lewis (ARSIS, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, WHITECHAPEL, DEVILDRIVER, DEICIDE, SIX FEET UNDER) with assistance from Jason Suecof (AUGUST BURNS RED, DEICIDE, DEATH ANGEL). The new CD marks the group's first release since the departures of guitarist Jeff Kendrick and drummer John Boecklin and addition of axeman Neal Tiemann and former CHIMAIRA sticksman Austin D'Amond.
"Trust No One" entered The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 43 with first-week sales of just over 12,000 units — nearly all from pure album sales. The set follows the No. 32-peaking "Winter Kills", which was released in August 2013 and opened with 11,000 copies.
DEVILDRIVER frontman Dez Fafara recently told Full Metal Jackie about the "Trust No One" album title: "I raised my children with a huge sticker on the refrigerator for a long time saying 'Question Authority.' And 'Trust No One' is basically along [those] lines. I don't think that 'Question Authority' would have worked for a title. But you've gotta really watch people, and you've gotta watch 'em before you bring 'em into your circle, and after you do bring them into your circle, then you've gotta watch 'em even closer. And as they exit, you'll realize that a lot of the times you bring in people, and as they exit, they are not, or were not, what they said they were the whole time they were in your life."
He continued: "I'm a very private person and my circle is very small. I have had some monumental fallouts over the years with some people, both personal and in business. And, basically, because you come to a realization where positivity is more important than anything in your life. And if someone is bringing you negativity, bringing you down, not having a good time with you or around whatever you are doing, you know, it's time to vacate the situation. 'Cause I am a glass-half-full guy; I'm always pretty positive, and I'm always willing to have a really good time. So, in the last couple years, that's been what's going on with me. I've been, 'Look, are you positive in my life? Okay, cool. Come around more. If you are not, I may lose your phone number.'"
"Take It Or Leave It", the new video from San Francisco Bay Area metallers VICIOUS RUMORS, can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's twelfth studio album, "Concussion Protocol", which will be released on August 26 via SPV/Steamhammer. It will be made available as a digipak version (including a poster), on 2LP gatefold red vinyl and as a digital download. The CD features eleven brand new songs and tells a chilling story of an armageddon by a global killer asteroid and how humanity unravels in the wake of the news. It's the first concept album for the band.
VICIOUS RUMORS guitarist Geoff Thorpe states: "The 'Concussion Protocol' album has been a the most intense recording project of my long career! We're working together as a team!
"A year and half of writing, recording and now the release is right around the corner August 26th.
"Nick and Tilen came to California to record and we made the 'Take It Or Leave It' video together, giving fans a first time look at the making of the album and the power of our performance.
"VICIOUS RUMORS runs on fire and passion!
"The reaction from the first video, 'Chasing The Priest', was so overwhelmingly positive....now check out the members of VICIOUS RUMORS in full force with 'Take It Or Leave It'."
"Concussion Protocol" was produced by Geoff Thorpe and longtime co-producer and engineer Juan Urteaga at Trident studios (MACHINE HEAD, TESTAMENT, HEATHEN, EXODUS, DRAGONLORD) in Pacheco, California. Guest solos by VICIOUS RUMORS brothers from the band's rich history, Brad Gillis (NIGHT RANGER, OZZY OSBOURNE) and Steve Smyth (NEVERMORE, TESTAMENT, FORBIDDEN) only add to the madness.
Thorpe states: "The album is relentless and crushing in true, classic VICIOUS RUMORS style but with many twists and turns. Believe me, you're in for a treat, VRazors!!! If you've ever been a fan of VICIOUS RUMORS, SABBATH, PRIEST or MAIDEN and a little Bay Area-style thrash thrown in for good measure, then this album is definitely for you!!! Everything you love about VICIOUS RUMORS is present throughout the whole album!!"
"Concussion Protocol" track listing: 01. Concussion Protocol (4:56)02. Chemical Slaves (5:50)03. Victims Of A Digital World (4:13)04. Chasing The Priest (4:13)05. Psychoprism will release their new album Creation on July 22nd via Pure Steel Records. A new video for the album’s title track can be found below.
“Pure Steel Records are proud to finally be able to present a US metal band in the classical sense again. Finally there is a glimmer of hope in the starving territory of the most beautiful music that gave us the last over 30 years of heavy metal. Finally, the listener can bang his head to shredding guitars, cheer chants which contain amazing highs and lows and thereby enjoy a musical heaviness that is second to none. The New York / New Jersey band Psychoprism makes all this possible. On their debut record (Creation) they present the true mix of heavy metal. From fast power metal songs about real hymns ('Chronos') to powerful ballads ('Friendly Fire') the material contains everything the heart of the banger pleased. The guitars shred like in their best times late ‘80s and the music is more than just a wet dream for anyone who has viewed the crowning of US metal in such glorious groups like Crimson Glory, LordBane and Queensryche. From the first note to the last, a nonstop musical adventure.”

Helsinki, Finland-based melodic hard rock band, King Company, will released their debut album, One For The Road, on August 26th. A new video for the album track “Shining” can be seen below,
Formed in the spring of 2014 under the name No Man’s Land, King Company is a band featuring cream of the crop Finnish hard rock scene members. Drummer Mirka "Leka" Rantanen (Raskasta Joulua, Warmen, Thunderstone, Kotipelto) had been thinking about forming a new hard rock/melodic metal band for a long time. He wanted to play with people with whom he had worked before and who he knew both as good musicians and as friends. First, he contacted guitarist Antti Wirman (Warmen) who immediately joined the band. Singer Pasi Rantanen was in Mirka's mind from the beginning, as they had played together in a couple of bands before (Thunderstone, Warmen). After keyboardist Jari Pailamo (Kiuas, Ponies To Kill) and bassist Time Schleifer (Enfarce) joined the band, this super group of sorts was finally ready to start working.
King Company’s debut album, One For The Road, is a trip back in time to the melodic hard rock world of the golden 80’s and 90’s. The band’s biggest influences come from legendary bands such as Deep Purple, Rainbow and Whitesnake, but also from other great acts like Europe, Mr Big, Lynch Mob, and Dokken. All this, but with a contemporary twist! Singer Pasi Rantanen has taken his biggest influences from the great David Coverdale and you can definitely hear it. King Company salutes all these great bands and fans of this genre with their debut album and they are hoping to reach people who are new to this kind of music too.
The album’s title track, ”One For The Road” says it all. “Some of us got in this ride back in the 80’s and we are still on that same road,” tells Mirka Rantanen. “It was 1985 we were young and wild and free, We dreamed of playing rock'n roll, and sitting in a black limousine...we still believe!”
Mirka continues: “Our debut album One For The Road should have been done years ago, but there was’t simply time to form King Company. We all had our own projects and we were too busy in our personal lives. Many of us have played in power metal and extreme metal bands, but something has always been missing. We wanted to write an album full of songs that we have always wanted to play. And we did. Most of the songs have been written together around Antti Wirman’s guitar riffs, but there are some older song from Pasi Rantanen that we re-arranged to a more modern form. The greatest ballad on the album is called “Cast Away” and it’s written by the keyboardist Jari Pailamo. Most of the lyrics are written by Mirka and Pasi.”

LA based shock rockers Society 1 (Matt Zane - vocals, DV Karloff - bass, Lorden Mitev - drums, Alex Crescioni - guitar) take a bold step into new musical territory with their first acoustic song and video "No Salvation". A move that will more than likely come as a surprise considering the band's past musical direction and penchant for intense theatrics.
"I've always wanted to explore songwriting in this way. I envisioned a sound that somehow combined The Doors and Alice In Chains on a very intimate raw level," said lead vocalist Zane.
The song was produced by Alex Crescioni at Stygian Sound and directed by Jose Chairez with co-directing and editing done by Zane. Check out the video below:

Alice Cooper has posted this video performing “Elected” live in Biloxi, MS on April 29th.
“Featuring the fight you've always wanted to see, the all out no holds barred match between United States Presidential Candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump!”
Following their wildly successful concerts at the Roxy Theatre in Los Angeles, in front of 100,000 screaming fans at the Rock In Rio festival, and their spectacular worldwide television debut on the 2016 Grammy Awards reaching a global audience of almost 25 million people, fans worldwide demanded more. Hollywood Vampires - Alice Cooper, Joe Perry and Johnny Depp – always deliver and arranged their schedules to give their fans what they want.
Joining the Hollywood Vampires on tour are modern day Vampires Matt Sorum (Guns N' Roses/The Cult) on drums, Robert DeLeo (Stone Temple Pilots) on bass, Tommy Henriksen (Alice Cooper) on guitar, and Bruce Witkin (The Kids) on piano, percussion and guitar. For tickets, visit this location.
"Here is a gang of friends who came together really by chance and over the last year we were finally able to wrangle our schedules and the energy just fell into place. Playing with this line up is like a dream come true. After seeing the reaction at Rock in Rio in front of 100,000 fans, I know this band is going to tear the house down. Hell, I would want to be in the audience to see us rip it up." – Joe Perry
A super-group comprised of rock royalty and a Hollywood superstar, the Vampires will hit the stage offering fans a non-stop, energetic rock concert like no other, performing their new single "Bad As I Am" from their new deluxe album, as well as renditions of popular classics including "My Generation," "Whole Lotta Love," and a "School's Out"/"Another Brick in the Wall" medley.
Hollywood Vampires released a new digital deluxe version of their self-titled album. This expanded version includes three additional songs, including one original and two rocking covers. The deluxe version includes the scorching new single "Bad As I Am" an original song penned by Johnny Depp, Tommy Henriksen, and Bruce Witkin and features Matt Sorum, Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Depp. Also included is "I'm A Boy," a Who original, that was only available as a Japanese bonus track. "7 and 7 Is" is an unreleased track from the album sessions and is the classic song by the legendary Los Angeles band Love, a Vampires special pick and one that Alice covered on his 1981 solo album, Special Forces.
In 1969 on the Sunset Strip at a club called the Rainbow Bar & Grill, the Hollywood Vampires were born in the upstairs bar. It was a gathering place for the rock stars living in or passing through L.A. "To join the club, one simply had to out drink all of the members," says Alice Cooper, a founding member of the original Vampires.
Cooper and good friend Johnny Depp got together and decided the spirit of the Hollywood Vampires should live again (minus the drinking). Cooper and Depp were joined by Joe Perry, who is an old friend of both, and the recording began: a tribute to the original Hollywood Vampires. An environment was born for great artists to hang, laugh and play together.

Brazil’s Hangar has released the new video clip for the song “Reality Is A Prison”, the first track of the new album Stronger Than Ever. The video was recorded Bebedouro, São Paulo, and had the direction of Junior Carelli and Rudge Campos, from Foggy Filmes. The makeup was done by artist Niandra Coast and the actor Rodrigo Carmo. Stronger Than Ever was released today (July 15th) through FC Metal Recordings.
The story of “Reality Is A Prison” is confused with the hangar itself. The letter portrays moments lived by the band in all these years and the idea of the music video is to show how many times that coexistence can become a prison. The video shows a very rare scenic side metal clips recorded in Brazil, where the band stars with actor Rodrigo Carmo, lead singer of the band Versover.

"Violence", the new video from Florida death metal veterans OBITUARY, can be seen below. The clip features animation by Balázs Gróf.
"Violence" is taken from OBITUARY's ninth studio album, "Inked In Blood", which sold around 5,200 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 75 on The Billboard 200 chart.
The band's first full-length CD in over five years, "Inked In Blood" was recorded by OBITUARY in April 2014 at the group's own RedNeck Studio in Gibsonton, Florida.
Speaking to Full Metal Jackie, OBITUARY drummer Donald Tardy stated about "Inked In Blood": "We don't try to reinvent the wheel; we never would do that. We know that OBITUARY stands for something solid and that mid-tempo, groovy feel that OBITUARY has. So we didn't wanna step too far out of it, we really wanted to stay true to our roots. But, of course, I personally think the band, individually, gets better with every year that goes by, every album that we record, everyone seems to get… We find our knack that much more. And that goes to say with this album. This album just seems so much more just catchy and just easy to listen to, and that simple, groovy metal that we're known for. We really found ourselves with this album."
Donald also spoke about OBITUARY's current lineup, which includes Kenny Andrews (guitar) and Terry Butler (bass): "With Terry and Ken on board, it's a refreshing idea of band members coming in with a positive attitude and professionalism. And they brought to the studio their ideas and their ears. And when me and Trevor [Peres, guitar] were done writing a song, they would listen with us and they would give us [suggestions, like], 'Maybe you should add something here,' or, more importantly, to let us know, 'Maybe this song doesn't even need to be as long as it is.' So it was good to have input from Ken and Terry. And Ken's solo style is a beautiful blend of a little bit of Allen West meets a little James Murphy. And I think that was missing from OBITUARY for these last few years and Ken really brought that back to the table. And I believe that's what fans want and they're really gonna see the difference with Ken's solo style, that it's back to the roots with us. And it's a good feeling."
OBITUARY will return to Europe as part of the colossal "Battle Of The Bays" European tour in October / November 2016 alongside San Francisco Bay Area thrash metal veterans EXODUS. Support will come from influential groove crossover metallers PRONG and Australian wrecking machine KING PARROT.
Tesla guitarist Frank Hannon's new single, "Never Slowin' Down", is available now on iTunes and Amazon. The video for "Never Slowin' Down", which can be seen below, was filmed on June 12, 2016 in San Francisco, California during the 39th Annual Haight Ashbury Street Fair. An historic 75,000+ gathering of people in a spirit of peace, love and music featuring members of Jefferson Starship, Quicksilver Messenger Service, The David Neslon Band and a special celebration of the life of Paul Kantner.
"Never Slowin' Down" was written by and features vocals, guitars, and piano played by Frank Hannon, along with bass by Aaron Leigh and drums by Blake DeMoss.
It’s been said that lightning never strikes the same place twice. However, it does in the case of Tesla. The band has announced the release of a live recording of their classic album, Mechanical Resonance, Live!, celebrating the original multi-Platinum record’s 30th birthday in style.
With a few surprises up their sleeve, including the single “Save That Goodness” written and produced by Phil Collen of Def Leppard, the album will be released in Europe on August 26th. The record is being released in conjunction with Tesla’s US summer tour opening up for Def Leppard, where they will perform in front of over half a million fans.
Said Frank Hannon, “30 years later and the songs on our first album still rock! Making this new live album of Mechanical Resonance was a reminder of the innocence and creative beginnings of Tesla.”
Added Brian Wheat, "It was a lot of fun to re-visit some of the songs we hadn't played in decades and had a great time recording it. "
Over the course of their thirty-year career, which started in 1986, the iconic Sacramento melodic hard rock quintet - Frank Hannon [guitar], Brian Wheat [bass], Jeff Keith [lead vocals], Troy Luccketta [drums], and Dave Rude [guitar] - has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide and played to sold out crowds across the globe, their three albums that followed Mechanical Resonance all went multi-Platinum in the US. To say Tesla live is absolutely bombastic is an understatement, they are a hard rock band to beat all hard rock bands.
The 21st century has become something of a renaissance for Tesla. Most recently, 2014’s Simplicity bowed at #14 on the Billboard Top 200. The group ignited ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! in addition to scorching stages at festivals such as Rocklahoma, Graspop Metal Meeting, and Sweden Rock Festival as well as the cruise Monsters of Rock. As they prepare to cut their ninth full-length album with Phil Collen in the producer’s chair, Tesla takes another monumental leap forward as they glance back on Mechanical Resonance, Live!

"Give Me the Reins", the debut video from CLOCKWORK REVOLUTION, the new band featuring former members of YNGWIE MALMSTEEN'S RISING FORCE, CRIMSON GLORY and KAMELOT, can be seen below.
Formed at the end of 2015, CLOCKWORK REVOLUTION is mastering its debut album, due later in the year. The disc contains ten original tracks that were recorded in August and November of 2015.
CLOCKWORK REVOLUTION cosnsists of drummer Patrick Johannson (W.A.S.P., YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, G3, GUS G., LYNCH MOB), singer Wade Black (LEATHERWOLF, CRIMSON GLORY, SEVEN WITCHES, LEASH LAW, WAR OF THRONES), bassist Dirk Van Tilborg (ALIAS, ATTAKK, CRIMSON GLORY, KAMELOT) and guitarist Dewayne Hart (KINLIN). According to a press release, they deliver "a powerful sound that draws from both modern and classic metal."
Talking about the album, Black said: "I've been in the music business a long time. All I can say about CLOCKWORK REVOLUTION is great musicians plus chemistry equals an album I'm really proud of."
BREAKING BENJAMIN's video for the song "Ashes Of Eden" can be seen below. The song is taken from the band's latest album, "Dark Before Dawn", which sold 141,000 copies in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 1. The sales number was the best single-week sales mark of the band's career, with 135,000 of those made for physical CDs.
BREAKING BENJAMIN frontman Ben Burnley told Billboard.com that the clip is "sort of a modern sci-fi take on Adam and Eve," in which two members of a space crew are separated from their ship and "plummet to a water planet where their ashes turn to the building blocks for life as we know it on earth. Billions of years go by and the earth becomes the earth as we know it, and they've sort of re-evolved into humans and have found each other again."
"Dark Before Dawn" features Burnley leading an all-new lineup of the group, which has been expanded from a quartet to a five-piece.
Burnley fired two earlier members in 2010 over a legal battle, while a third member departed in 2013.
Burnley also struggled with a mysterious illness during the band's six-year hiatus, which he told The Pulse Of Radio might be the result of the excessive drinking he used to do. "I used to drink a lot, and I think it must have something to do with that because back in 2007, I stayed up drinking for three days straight — this is after already months and months of drinking heavily — and I woke up and I just felt really sick, like alcohol poisoned, and I was like, I should've probably gone to the hospital but I didn't, and I went onstage and when I went onstage I almost collapsed from being just so sick. And basically that was 2007 and it hasn't gone away."
Burnley unveiled BREAKING BENJAMIN 2.0 in 2014, with the lineup consisting of drummer Shaun Foist, bassist Aaron Bruch, former RED guitarist Jasen Rauch and ex-ADELITAS WAY guitarist Keith Wallen.

THE 69 EYES vocalist Jyrki told Reflections Of Darkness about the new album: "If somebody has heard THE 69 EYES before, he or she will know what to expect. And most likely everybody who's gonna hear this record has heard us before, because that's why we make the record; we make them for fans these days. When we had the previous album out, nearly five years ago, we were still part of the music business and had an international nature and so on, so we were pushed and interested in seeing if we can push THE 69 EYES further and maybe even have some crossover acceptance, but nowadays everything has changed and five years is a very long time. So, if we make music, we make it only the fans and obviously for ourselves. So, I think people who will hear this record will know what to expect; nothing will come as a surprise."
Regarding how the music industry has changed in the four years since the release of THE 69 EYES' previous album, "X", Jyrki said: "Four, five years ago, when we had a record out and when we released a single, it was a radio hit here in Finland. It was played all over the radio stations and was it was actually number two here in the playlists. And there was also a TV show to show the video. Now, five years later, there aren't even those radio channels left anymore that could play us, you know. So, there's no more excitement of getting airplay. I don't know if this record will be played on radio, it doesn't matter anymore. Then the TV show doesn't exist anymore. So, there are two ways to tell them that we have new music out: to play shows all around and the other thing is social media, of course. But it seems that people are actually so busy that it's hard to reach them. I'm expecting to reach at least half of the people who are, for instance, following us on Facebook. But when we had the first single out ['Jet Fighter Plane'] we put it and the video out there, and just a tiny little amount of them seemed to check it out. And then, let's say after a couple of weeks, we put the video there again saying, 'Hey, have you checked out the single?. And then there are people commenting, 'Oh, do you have new music out? That's awesome! Will you ever release a new record again?'"
MOTIONLESS IN WHITE's new music video for the song "570" can be seen below. The clip was directed by Jeremy Danger and Travis Shinn.
MOTIONLESS IN WHITE is currently hard at work on its fourth studio album and full-length Roadrunner debut, slated for an early 2017 release.
"570" marks the band's first new release since 2014's "Reincarnate", which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Rock Albums chart as well as at No. 9 on The Billboard 200. MOTIONLESS IN WHITE's third studio album was highlighted by the blockbuster title track, a top 20 Active Rock radio favorite accompanied by a striking companion video now boasting close to ten million views. MOTIONLESS IN WHITE is promoting "570" with nearly non-stop touring, kicking off with this year's Vans Warped Tour. The dates — which see the band topping the new Monster Energy Party Zone — began June 24 at Dallas, Texas's Gexa Energy Pavilion and will continue through mid-August. From there, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE will join forces with KORN and BREAKING BENJAMIN on the eagerly awaited "Nocturnal Underground Tour". The trek — also featuring SILVER SNAKES — gets underway September 27 at Cedar Rapids, Iowa's US Cellular Center and then runs through mid-October.
As if that weren't enough, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE will perform at a number of upcoming heavy music festivals, including Chester, Pennsylvania's Rock Allegiance (September 17), Louisville, Kentucky's Louder Than Life (October 1), and Sacramento, California's Aftershock (October 22). Founded in 2005, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE has won over audiences worldwide with its aggressive music and arresting imagery. The band — which consists of lead singer Chris Motionless, guitarists Ryan Sitkowski and Ricky Horror, keyboardist Josh Balz, bassist Devin "Ghost" Sola, and drummer Vinny Mauro — has proven a ferocious and inventive live act, earning an increasingly fervent fan following via countless headline shows, festival sets, and tours alongside such iconic acts as SLIPKNOT, LAMB OF GOD and A DAY TO REMEMBER, among others.
