1914 releases' anthology is out at Mazzar Rec

Blackened death/doom/sludge project “1914” was formed in 2014, after 100 years since the beginning The First World War, in Lemberg (Österreich). Band’s music completely dedicated to Great War (how it was called its contemporaries).

After the band’s declaration of itself with debut full-length album Esсhatology Of War (2015) and split Ich hatt einen Kameraden (2016) with americans Minenwerfer, “1914” had decided to republish two first releases with additional materials not published yet anywhere. Esсhatology Of War from Mazzar Records is a compilation of all band’s releases for today in the format of 2 CDs limited digipack, including unpublished demos, remixes, and (attention!) Nirvana cover.

CD 1:
Esсhatology Of War (LP)(2015)
The 1914 debut album is focused on sharing the atmosphere of 1WW, using samples and sounds of that time, it’s focused on soldier’s personal story, which dying in sensless massacre. The album contains tracks about Verden defenders, about first in the history strategical bombing of London by German zeppelins, about well known Christmas truce at trenches in 1914 and about absence of absolutely happiness at that matter. Every song is a story. The story of life and death. The story describes events took place 100 years ago and puzzled into a single unit – esсhatology of death.

CD 2:
Für Кaiser, Volk und Vaterland [EP](2016)
Part 1
The split contains two songs of 1914. The first – Karpathenschlacht – dedicated to Carpatian Winter Operation and the battles of german and austro-hungarian armies, particularly USS divisions, against RIA and Cossacks at Carpathians mountains at winter 1914-th – summer 1915-th. The second track – 8 × 50 Mm. Repetiergewehr M.95 – is about the USS sniper, armed with Mannlicher rifle 95, and about how he eliminates RIA soldiers, assaulting Makivka mountain.

Part 2
The digital EP contains unreleased demo tracks of the band, remixed songs from the first album and Nirvana cover.

Да на хрена она сдалась. Группа существует без году неделя, а уже антология.

задраный безмерно пафос - отличительная черта большинства современных групп экстремального жанра, выпускающих тиражи по 500 дисков, многие из которых претендуют на некую интеллектуальность и концептуальность. а по сути - группы для кучки друзей и дай хард любителей андеграунда
