In 2010 the first full-length release, The Leviathan Crown, was recorded. The Leviathan Crown expanded upon the sound and scope not found on the prior Krigsgrav releases. Haunting swaths of mournful guitar melody began to embed its way into the music. This release began to showcase the evolution of Krigsgrav.

Sweigart left Krigsgrav in late 2010 to pursue studies and explore other territories and opportunities, leaving founder David Sikora with the sole task of composing Krigsgrav’s next opus: Lux Capta Est. While refining material for the record, Sikora found an adequate vocalist replacement in the form of session musician Jarrod Butler (Hrut).

The duo put iron to forge and produced a monumental slab of mournful dissident melancholy in Lux Capta Est. The album gathered greater feedback than any release prior and began to carve a niche in which Krigsgrav could call home. This album also marked the first time all lyrics were penned by Sikora.

Left with the release Lux Capta Est to contend with, Sikora was determined to make Krigsgrav a functional live band. Vocalist/Guitarist J. Coleman, guitarist Corey Smith and Bassist Craig Roberts, all long time friends of Sikora, were recruited to flesh out the husk of Krigsgrav and take the band to the next step of its progression.

2013 was poised to be the most productive year in the band's entire history. With a mutual agreement and personal situations, bassist Craig Roberts was no longer continuing as bassist for Krigsgrav. At this time Wes Radvansky approached the band and immediately joined as permanent bassist.

After a series of succesful live performances solidifying the lineup, the band worked through the latter half of 2013 and into 2014 crafting the next full length album (and first as a full 4-piece band). The album, titled "The Carrion Fields", showcased a more focused and mature sound and a crystal clear production. Spanning 7 songs, the material found on The Carrion Fields brought to life a specific theme that was engrained throughout the album's music and lyrics. The album was a representation of the cycle of nature and the parallels between it and the life cycle of man. It was a vibrant statement menat to remind us all that out of death, comes new life.

To release The Carrion Fields, the band signed with German record label Naturmacht Productions. After the albums release in August of 2014, and the subsequent live shows that followed, the band wasted no time in working on new material. Writing for the next opus began in December of 2014 and continued throughout the Summer of 2015.

In Spring 2015, the band move forward from Naturmacht Productions and signed with noted American label, Bindrune Recordings. With a new label and strong new material taking shape, the band began recording its next album in August 2015. In various sessions from August through November, the band recorded what may be hailed as it's finest achievement. The new album, titled Waves of Degradation, is set to be relesed in early 2016. This marks the band's first release through Bindrune Recordings, and will be followed up with the band's first ever US Tour in April 2016, which will take them across much of the eastern USA. The year is young, but 2016 proves to be one of the most promising of the band's entire existence, with much more still to come.
