Formed in the summer of 2019 by drummer Sebastian Olsson and guitarist Jesper Lindgren. Started out by playing more in a Black/Thrash style inspired by bands such as Absu and Bölzer. As soon as Billy Lundevall joined the fold on vocals later that same year a more Death Metal-oriented sound started to take shape and the name Gravecrawler was set (taken from an old Magic: The Gathering card). In the summer of 2020 Roni Iivonen hopped in on bass and work on the first EP began.
