Exhumed's new album, Horror, is out now on CD/deluxe LP/LP/digital. A full album stream can be found below.

Aptly titled, Horror is an exploration of all things macabre, as the undisputed pioneers of neck-breaking riffs plow through 15 of the band’s most intense tracks to date. Horror was recorded at Exhumed’s home-built studio Darker Corners, a first in the band’s career. Horror was produced by Exhumed and Alejandro Corredor (Brujeria, Nausea) and was mixed and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust).

EXMORTUS Release Shred-tastic "Beetlejuice" Cover; Playthrough Video Streaming

As the October 25 release of their new Halloween/horror-themed EP, Legions Of The Undead, draws closer, Los Angeles-based death/thrash/shred quartet, Exmortus, has unveiled a play-through-style music video for their cover of Danny Elfman's “Beetlejuice” theme. The clip sees the group's members dress up as the title character of Tim Burton's iconic 1988 fantasy/horror/comedy film. Watch below.

“I've been meaning to cover this for a while now,” says guitarist/vocalist Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez. “As a kid, I loved the movie and the cartoon series that followed it. Danny Elfman's music really does lend itself to metal orchestration, so this was a breeze to learn and jam out. Hope you have as much fun watching it as we did recording it. It's showtime!"

“Beetlejuice” can now be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and other digital platforms. Along with the recently-released Evil Dead homage, “Swallow Your Soul”, the song is one of two “instant grat” downloads that are being offered with digital pre-orders of Legions Of The Undead. NOTURNALL Release Music Video For "Scream! For!! Me!!!" Featuring MIKE PORTNOY

NOTURNALL Release Music Video For "Scream! For!! Me!!!" Featuring MIKE PORTNOY

Noturnall have just released their new music video, “Scream! For ! Me!!!”, with the more than special participation of drummer Mike Portnoy (ex-Dream Theater). The video was directed by vocalist Thiago Bianchi, as well as director Rodrigo Rossi, and features real scenes of a Hollywood-style tuned car rollover.

“This is for sure the best music video of my career and also a dream come true: playing with the drummer that made me a musician,” said Thiago Bianchi.

The music video for "Scream! For!! Me!!!" shows the new formation of Noturnall firsthand, featuring Thiago Bianchi (vocals), Mike Orlando (guitars), Henrique Pucci (drums) and Saulo Xakol (bass). The breakout video marks the duel of two exceptional drummers, Henrique Pucci and Mike Portnoy, in a surreal performance.

The rollover scenes were performed by seasoned Agnaldo Dublê, a professional on channels like Globo and RecordTV. It is also worth mentioning the story of the clip that tells a little about the difficulties of setting up a band in a humorous but very real way.

Photographer BILL O'LEARY Releases New Book, Timeless Concert Images; AC/DC, VAN HALEN, RUSH, SLAYER, QUEEN, OZZY, KISS, JUDAS PRIEST, SCORPIONS And Many More Featured

Photographer BILL O'LEARY Releases New Book, Timeless Concert Images; AC/DC, VAN HALEN, RUSH, SLAYER, QUEEN, OZZY, KISS, JUDAS PRIEST, SCORPIONS And Many More Featured

Timeless Concert Images (And 40 Years Of Rock Concert Experiences), by rock photographer Bill O'Leary, is available now.

During his career, photographer Bill O'Leary took pictures of some of rock's biggest names at the peak of their powers - Van Halen, Rush, Judas Priest, KISS, Ozzy Osbourne, Queen, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa, etc. And now, he has opened his archives for the first time ever - assembling a collection of not only his best images, but also, offering stories and recollections behind concerts he shot over the years. Indeed, this book is comprised of over 175 full color, live concert images photographed primarily from the late 1970's through the 1990's.

Artists include AC/DC, Albert King, The Allman Brothers Band, Anthrax, Blues Traveler, Bob Seger, Cheap Trick, Def Leppard, Dixie Dregs, Foreigner, Frank Zappa, Grateful Dead, Hot Tuna, Jeff Beck, Jethro Tull, Joan Jett, Judas Priest, KISS, Marillion, Mercyful Fate, Michael Schenker Group, Molly Hatchet, Mötley Crüe, Motörhead, Outlaws, Overkill, Ozzy Osbourne, Pat Travers, Phish, Pink Floyd (The Wall), The Police, Queen, Rainbow, Reo Speedwagon, The Romantics, Rossington Collins Band, Rush, Scorpions, Slayer, Styx, Ted Nugent, Todd Rundgren's Utopia, Triumph, UFO, Van Halen, White Zombie, XTC, YES, Yngwie Malmsteen with Alcatrazz, and ZZ Top.

O'Leary says: "Hard to believe that I have been shooting concerts for 4 decades now, beginning in the mid 70's when I went to my first concert at the world famous Madison Square Garden in New York City. I felt at home among the walls of speakers and the towering lighting rigs, I also immediately knew that leaving the show with a ticket stub, program and maybe a t-shirt would not be enough, so I had to capture the memory permanently. Within' weeks I had traded my Sony home stereo system for a black leather jacket and my first Minolta SLR camera. After a brief learning period experimenting with the constantly changing lighting and vast array of colors, film speeds and the quick movements of the artists, I was told by many people that I was a "natural". I have always felt that "knowing" the music deeply and being passionate about it as well, really was the "secret" to capturing the "moment". With that confidence, I was soon shooting many concerts, 46 in 1980 alone. By then I was also being published in many major magazines as well. In the early days, I practiced "gorilla type tactics" to get my equipment into the venue's. Later, I was forced to play the game of securing credentials in order to shoot shows. All too soon, promoter and band management rules and demands on photographers began to take the excitement out of shooting shows. Then the " first 3 song" rule became common, NO more pictures after the third song. Pro concert photographers know that the "best" part of a shows production comes later in the event. In the end, I'm glad to have been a part of the glory days of concert photography."

Foreword by Freddie Salem of The Outlaws: "Bill O'Leary has played an extremely important part in the rock n' roll world, as the consummate live performance photographer for over 40 years. As a professional musician, rock photographers are a part of the music scene - whether it be shooting promotional shoots, live concerts, or simply capturing life on tour. Bill first photographed us back in 1979 - a couple years after I joined the Outlaws, at Madison Square Garden in New York City. We were touring in support of our latest album, In the Eye of the Storm. Madison Square Garden is a big show for any touring band - as well as me personally, as a musician. A landmark venue. The following year, 1980, Bill again photographed me onstage - twice. Once at a Pat Travers Band show at the Palladium in Lower Manhattan in April, then again later that fall in November, as the Outlaws were touring in support of our latest album, Ghost Riders. This time, we were playing a smaller venue in Passaic, New Jersey, called the Capitol Theatre. Hundreds upon hundreds of marquis performers from all over the world have been captured on film by Bill - with the help of his trusty camera. I am surely anticipating the release of Bill O'Leary's book, featuring his life's passion and his iconic photography work. Looking at the thousands of live photos Bill has shot over the years one thing is very clear - he knows when to "pull the trigger."

WRECK-DEFY Featuring Former ANNIHILATOR, TESTAMENT, DEMOLITION HAMMER Members Gearing Up To Release Third Album In 2020

WRECK-DEFY Featuring Former ANNIHILATOR, TESTAMENT, DEMOLITION HAMMER Members Gearing Up To Release Third Album In 2020

Wreck-Defy, featuring former members of Annihilator, Testament and Demolition Hammer have checked in with the following update:

"Although our sophomore album, Remnants Of Pain, has just recently been officially released via Inverse Records - barely a week ago - album number 3 is officially written and arranged. Pre-production will be starting very soon, and after the Christmas holiday season comes to an end it will be off to the races to bring you the next chapter in the Wreck-Defy saga.

The same line-up that brought you Remnants Of Pain will be back to bring you our most ferocious and pummeling album to date some time in 2020. Let the games begin.

Thanks to all our fans who have supported us this far. We hope to see you live next year!"

Finland's Inverse Records officially released Wreck-Defy's new album, Remnants Of Pain, on September 27th. They have posted a new lyric video for the previously released single, "Broken Peace", which can be viewed below.

"The new record has a street level sound that is a throwback to the burgeoning thrash metal movement from the mid 80's with a more modern day production value. To me thrash metal is about honesty, integrity and just an overall street level approach to things...lyrically its about many of the negative aspects in life such as war, addiction, tyranny, etc." says Matt Hanchuck.

Wreck-Defy began in 2016 when Matt Hanchuck got together with his friend Justin Steer who agreed to do the vocals on the debut record Fragments of Anger. They brought in Shawn Drover from Megadeth to play all the drums on the first album... combining that with the fact that his brother Glen... also ex-Megadeth alumni agreed to mix and master the album which gave it some notoriety so to speak... credibility if you will.

The current lineup of the band is Matt Hanchuck on guitar, Aaron Randall (ex-Annihilator) on vocals and Greg Christian (ex-Testament) on bass. For the album they used Dave O'Neal as a studio session drummer... but moving forward they've been able to recruit the amazing Alex Marquez from Demolition Hammer and Solstice for future tours and shows.

Tracklisting:

"Killing The Children"
"Broken Peace"
"Riverview"
"Looking Back"
"18oz Of Chrome"
"The Divide"
"Art Of Addiction"
"Angels And Demons"
"Blackend Cloth"

Watch STATIC-X Perform In Manchester

Watch STATIC-X Perform In Manchester

Fan-filmed video footage of STATIC-X's October 3 performance at O2 Ritz in Manchester, United Kingdom can be seen below.

As previously reported, STATIC-X will release a new album titled "Project Regeneration", featuring the last recordings of the band's late frontman Wayne Static, on May 29, 2020. The rest of the group's original lineup — bassist Tony Campos, drummer Ken Jay and guitarist Koichi Fukuda — will also be featured on the album and in the music videos, including the promotional clip for the single "Hollow", which was released yesterday. The teaser, which was directed by STATIC-X's touring vocalist Xer0 and co-directed by Matt Zane, also features a snippet of the band's hit song "Push It", re-recorded in 2019 with Xer0.

Originally scheduled for release in spring of 2019, the new STATIC-X album was first intended to feature several guests vocalists, along with the original "Wisconsin Death Trip" band lineup of Campos, Jay and Fukuda.

During the recording sessions for "Project Regeneration", one of STATIC-X's producers uncovered several additional unreleased and unfinished tracks, many of which contained isolated vocal performances by Wayne Static. Because of this incredible find, the new STATIC-X album will now feature lead vocals by Wayne on virtually every song.

Last year, STATIC-X released a teaser featuring clips from a brand-new music video, as well as five new STATIC-X tracks — "Road To Hell", "Something Of My Own", "Terminator Oscillator", "Hollow" and "Disco Otsego" — along with a personal message from Campos about the inspiration behind "Project Regeneration".

While the identity of STATIC-X's touring singer has not been officially revealed, strong rumors suggest that DOPE frontman Edsel Dope is the one performing with Jay, Fukuda and Campos and appearing in all of STATIC-X's promotional videos.

Wayne Static died after mixing Xanax and other powerful prescription drugs with alcohol, according to the coroner's report. The 48-year-old Static, whose real name was Wayne Richard Wells, was found dead in his Landers, California home on November 1, 2014.

Static founded STATIC-X in 1994 and achieved commercial success with "Wisconsin Death Trip", which included the rock radio hit "Push It".

The group issued five more studio albums before disbanding permanently in June 2013. Static had been pursuing a solo career at the time of his death.

A NEW TOMORROW To Release Debut Album Via Frontiers Music Srl In December; "I Wanna Live" Music Video Streaming

A NEW TOMORROW To Release Debut Album Via Frontiers Music Srl In December; "I Wanna Live" Music Video Streaming

Frontiers Music Srl has announced the upcoming release of A New Tomorrow's label debut, Universe, on December 6. The first video/single, "I Wanna Live", from the UK rock band is out now. Watch the video below, and stream the single and/or pre-order the album here.

Formed in London by vocalist/guitarist Alessio Garavello (ex-Powerquest/Arthemis) and bassist Andrea Lonardi, the two were later joined by drummer Tim Hall and guitarist Michael Kew. A New Tomorrow have spent the past few years honing their sound into the potent mix of uplifting, hard-hitting, melodic hard rock that you now hear today.

Harnessing influences from the likes of musical heroes such as Alter Bridge, Foo Fighters, Metallica, and Green Day, the band have been defining their sound during years of shows across the UK, Italy, and elsewhere in Europe. Offering fast and furious riffing coupled with super melodic hook lines, they have an original and cool take on the hard rock style. A New Tomorrow are indeed a sorely needed breath of fresh air in the current scene.

Drummer Tim Hall says, "Several years of amazing times, full of both ups and downs, not just as a band but as great friends, gave us the foundation to write something special for this record. "Universe" became the only title to encompass all our experiences as individuals and as a band, with themes - from fear and doubt to taking back the pursuit of our hopes and dreams - that I think all of us can identify with. The time we took gaining experience as a band, before writing "Universe", has really allowed us to find our own space within the music allowing our own individual influences to come across a lot more than in our previous releases. Expect our heaviest, yet most dynamic range of songs to date! With intricate, interwoven grooves, alongside blankets of melodic guitars and powerful vocals. We feel invigorated playing this music and can't wait to unleash that energy with you live in 2020!"

A New Tomorrow's love for life and go-getter attitude, both on and off stage, complete the picture of one of the hottest bands to come out of the British underground in recent times.

Now, the band gets to share the next chapter in their evolution worldwide through their debut full-length album "Universe". Buckle up and enjoy the ride!

SLAYER: 'The Repentless Killogy' Coming To Theaters Worldwide On November 6

SLAYER: 'The Repentless Killogy' Coming To Theaters Worldwide On November 6

SLAYER — Tom Araya, Kerry King, Gary Holt and Paul Bostaph — along with Trafalgar Releasing, Nuclear Blast Records and Prime Zero Productions, are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new short narrative film and concert "Slayer: The Repentless Killogy", coming to theaters worldwide for a one-night event on November 6. Due to be screened in over 1,500 theaters around the world. Tickets will be on sale starting October 9 at www.slayer.film.

Revenge, murder, bloodshed and retribution. "The Repentless Killogy" film was written and directed by BJ McDonnell, who conceived and directed the three brutal music videos — "You Against You", "Repentless" and "Pride In Prejudice" — for SLAYER's final studio album, "Repentless" (2015).

"When we set out to do these initial three videos," said McDonnell, "we had the intention of continuing the next adventures of SLAYER and Wyatt on a following album. But SLAYER announced that 'Repentless' was the final album and tour, so this story, the videos, and finally a full live concert at the end is a perfect wrap up of the 'Repentless' final tour. This is the finale of SLAYER. This is the end of the monsters."

"The Repentless Trilogy" motion picture opens with the three music videos assembled as one chronological storyline and introduces the narrative's main character, Wyatt, a former Neo Nazi associated with a gang known as "The Hand Brotherhood," whose signature mark was a bloody handprint left after a murder had taken place. Prior to the first music video, Wyatt had left the gang after he fell in love with Gina. The two had gone into hiding to escape his grisly past and start a family, but The Hand Brotherhood was not going to allow that to happen, and Gina, pregnant with their first child, was savagely murdered as Wyatt was forced to look on. The film then segues into the present-time narrative that sees Wyatt on the run from law enforcement and the Nazi gang, but now dedicated to eliminating The Hand Brotherhood and seeking retribution wherever he can.

"The Repentless Killogy" stars many of the actors who appeared in the original video series: Jason Trost ("Beats of Rage", "Hatchet III") as Wyatt, Danny Trejo ("Machete", "From Dusk Til Dawn"), Richard Speight ("Band of Brothers", "Supernatural"), Derek Mears ("Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D."), Jessica Pimentel ("Orange Is The New Black"), Tyler Mane ("X-Men", "Halloween II"), Bill Moseley ("The Devil's Rejects", "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2"), Caroline Williams ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2", "Sharknado 4"), and Sean Whalen ("Twister", "The People Under The Stairs").

Part two of "The Repentless Killogy" features SLAYER's entire live set performed at the Los Angeles Forum on August 5, 2017, and was directed by Wayne Isham who has directed videos for artists including METALLICA, FOO FIGHTERS, Michael Jackson, Kelly Clarkson, and Britney Spears. Presented in front of one of the most striking stage productions of the band's career, SLAYER performs fan favorites, including "South Of Heaven", "War Ensemble", "Mandatory Suicide", "Dead Skin Mask", "Raining Blood" and "Angel Of Death".

Following the global theatrical premiere, on November 8, the film will be available digitally and on Blu-ray, and the soundtrack from that concert will be released as both a two-disc vinyl and two CD packages.

Gerardo Martinez of Nuclear Blast Records said: "When SLAYER, the RSE family, BJ and I were talking about how thrilled we were with the outcome of the three videos from 'Repentless', never did we imagine that what we had in our hands was basically this piece of brutality that would end up in movie theaters worldwide. Everything from matching SLAYER's ferocity and heaviness in video form, to expanding into a longer narrative and live show has created the perfect SLAYER atmosphere. We are beyond thrilled to give fans around the world the opportunity to join us on November 6 to witness a pure slab of f*ckin' insanity!"

Marc Allenby, CEO of Trafalgar Releasing, added: "Trafalgar Releasing are pleased to be collaborating with SLAYER, the team at Nuclear Blast and the RSE Group on the upcoming global cinema release of 'Slayer: The Repentless Killogy'. The film expertly demonstrates how SLAYER has become one of the most influential metal bands of the last three decades, bringing together the creative forces of film and music to create a must-see on the big screen. We look forward to seeing how fans react when they come together for this unique experience."

"Slayer: The Repentless Killogy" will be screened in cinemas around the world on November 6. Tickets are on sale from October 9 at www.slayer.film, where fans can find the most up-to-date information regarding participating theaters and sign up for event alerts.

Watch GLENN HUGHES In The Studio With THE DEAD DAISIES For 'Righteous Days' Single

Watch GLENN HUGHES In The Studio With THE DEAD DAISIES For 'Righteous Days' Single

Behind-the-scenes footage from the recording sessions for "Righteous Days", the new single from THE DEAD DAISIES — the hard rock "collective" founded by Australian musician and businessman David Lowy — can be seen below.

"Righteous Days" is the first THE DEAD DAISIES song to feature Glenn Hughes (DEEP PURPLE, BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION), who joined the group earlier in the year as its new bassist and vocalist, replacing John Corabi (MÖTLEY CRÜE) and Marco Mendoza (THIN LIZZY).

A statement on the group's web site elaborated on the lineup change. "THE DEAD DAISIES are a musical collective whose members come together through a common love for great rock music," the post reads. "It's a living, breathing, musical organism with the credo, 'Rock is indeed alive & well!' From the band's inception, the idea was for members to bring their own ideas to the table but also have the flexibility to come and go when working on their other projects. Both John and Marco are, and always will be, a part of THE DEAD DAISIES musical family, but at this point in time they have decided to do some work on their own solo projects."

THE DEAD DAISIES — Lowy, Hughes, guitarist Doug Aldrich (WHITESNAKE, DIO) and drummer Deen Castronovo (JOURNEY, BAD ENGLISH) — recently recorded "Righteous Days" and an undisclosed number of other songs at Los Angeles's Sunset Sound recording studio for a new album expected to be released in 2020. It will serve as the follow-up to the group's fourth full-length release, 2018's "Burn It Down".

According to Wikipedia, since the band's formation in 2012, THE DEAD DAISIES has featured two dozen different members (including "session" players and "temporary substitutes"), including drummer Brian Tichy (FOREIGNER, WHITESNAKE), GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Richard Fortus and GN'R keyboardist Dizzy Reed. The group has toured with the likes of AEROSMITH, KISS and BLACK STAR RIDERS.

Known as the "voice of rock," the 68-year-old Hughes is best known for fronting the Mk. III and Mk. IV lineups of DEEP PURPLE in the mid-1970s and for singing on BLACK SABBATH's 1986 album "Seventh Star". He was replaced by Ray Gillen after only six live performances with the band.

In 2009, Hughes formed BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION with blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa, keyboardist Derek Sherinian (DREAM THEATER, SONS OF APOLLO) and drummer Jason Bonham (BONHAM, FOREIGNER). Hughes recently told Midlands Metalheads Radio that the group will reunite to record its fifth album in January of 2021.

ANATHEMA Announces 'We're Here Because We're Here' 10th-Anniversary Tour

ANATHEMA Announces 'We're Here Because We're Here' 10th-Anniversary Tour

ANATHEMA will celebrate the tenth anniversary of its iconic release "We're Here Because We're Here" by taking the album on the road for a series of exclusive shows throughout Europe in March 2020.

Upon its release, it was their first collection of new material in six years and they exploded back into action with a multi-coloured, multi-layered work of unbridled emotion, passion and intensity which saw it awarded Classic Rock's "Prog Album Of The Year" as well as lauded by Kerrang!, Metal Hammer and many more.

Talking about the tour, Danny Cavanagh says: "We never usually do anniversary tours of particular albums, but in the case of 'We're Here Because We're Here', which is the album that began our rebirth, we feel this is something we want to do. What I love about this album and that time in our journey is the life affirming qualities in the music. It's an album of hope, reflection, of summer, of an intense uplifting emotion. We will do all we can to augment the trip with a never before seen light and video show to enhance the experience. Join us in the dreaming light."

Talking further, Vincent Cavanagh says: "Well, putting aside my incredulity that it has been almost 10 years, I'm really into the idea of this tour from a creative perspective. How will we play these songs live now? How will some songs have evolved in the meantime? What can we do with the visual production? It's a great record to revisit as the themes are still as honest and personal as they've always been but there are more shafts of light that cut through the darkness. The plan is to do two sets: the 'We're Here Because We're Here' album in full and then a second set comprising the best stuff from the other records and maybe a brand new song or two... Hope to see you there!"

The award-winning alternative rock masters have released 11 studio albums of fearless and uncompromising beauty. Ever since their debut, "Serenades", in 1993, they've refused to be pigeonholed and have continuously evolved; all the way up to their most recent studio album, 2017's conceptual masterstroke "The Optimist", which revealed some of the darkest, most challenging music they ever put their name to, as well as a series of live albums and compilations. "We're Here Because We're Here" has become an integral part of the band's journey so far, and next March gives the band and fans the chance to revisit the album of shimmering majesty and fully immerse themselves in the live experience.

The band recently announced that it has signed to the Mascot Label Group and will work on a new album to come in 2020.

MACHINE HEAD Officially Announce New Lineup Including DECAPITATED Guitarist

MACHINE HEAD Officially Announce New Lineup Including DECAPITATED Guitarist

Head Cases, please welcome Vogg Kiełtyka and Matt Alston to the Machine Head family. Machine Head are proud to announce the two new full-time members who will be performing the first set of the upcoming 3-hour Evening With / Burn My Eyes 25th Anniversary tour, with the 2nd set to be performed by original BME-alumni Chris Kontos and Logan Mader.

Band visionary and mastermind Robb Flynn states, "It is an honour to perform alongside Matt and Vogg, these two are straight up "elite-level" players, and fucking BEASTS on-stage, I cannot wait for the Head Cases of the world get crushed by the heaviness that they will bring! Let's do this!"

New guitarist Vogg Kiełtyka (Decapitated) adds: "It’s a huge honour to be able to play at the same stage with the mighty Machine Head. I grew up on their music and when I heard I will join them on this tour, I was literally STOKED! As a thirteen years old I was learning songs from Burn My Eyes which is still one of my favourite albums EVER, that album had also a big influence on my playing and my guitar skills."

He continues,"Machine Head is not just a band, it’s an institution who has still a big influence on how all metal scene looks like, so for me as a musician and also a metal fan it’s something special to be able to be a small part of it. That will be definitely a huge lesson and experience for me to be a part of such a professional team. Adventure begins, I cannot wait!"

Vogg will continue to perform double-duty with his band Decapitated adding: "To all Decapitated fans: I will see with you also during Decapitated shows in 2020. We do plan also to compose new music for next Decapitated album so keep an eye on more news!"

New drummer Matt Alston adds, "I’m honoured to announce that I will be playing drums for Machine Head for the next world tour cycle alongside Chris Kontos on their Burn My Eyes 25th Anniversary tour. It was a pleasure working for MH over last years world tour, but now having the opportunity to be playing their songs is something I never would have imagined while growing up & listening to their music. Pre-production for the upcoming European tour starts on Monday, needless to say I can’t fucking wait to get on the road! A huge, HUGE thanks to my brother Steve Lagudi for getting me the opportunity to audition, and of course to Robb, Jared, & the whole MH team for welcoming me into this new position."

About the Burn My Eyes 25th Anniversary Tour:

Building on their wildly popular 'Evening With…’ format, these not-to-be-missed shows will be a three-hour musical extravaganza, comprised of two parts:

Part I - will feature a battery of Machine Head’s modern classics, such as "Imperium", "Halo", "Ten Ton Hammer" and "The Blood, The Sweat, The Tears", featuring frontman/guitarist Robb Flynn and bassist Jared MacEachern performing alongside the two new members.

Part II - will feature the Bay Area titan’s classic debut album, Burn My Eyes, played in its entirety for the first time ever.  And if somehow this historical event could not be monumental enough, taking the stage for this part of the set will be Burn My Eyes-era alumni and Machine Head’s original drummer Chris Kontos and original guitarist, Logan Mader.

Machine Head have posted new video footage of Robb Flynn and new drummer Matt Alston hanging out in the jam room and working on "Clenching", "Catharsis" and "Imperium".  “Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Matt Alston to Machine Head.”

Machine head have announced the second European leg of their 25 Year Anniversary tour for the band’s classic debut, Burn My Eyes.

The second and massive round of tour dates kick off in Spain on April 19 in Zaragoza, and continue across Portugal, Eastern Europe, Russia, Scandinavia, wrapping in Birmingham and London at the legendary Alexandra Palace on June 5 and 6.

We want everyone to have the opportunity to take part in this very special, once-in-a-lifetime-event, and as promised, we are bringing this around the globe well into Dec 2020. So stoked to bring this event to so many territories that we can't always get to, and ending at Alexandra Palace will, be monu-MENTAL!"

Jared MacEachern is equally looking forward to the run, saying “Lemme just say, you head cases are in for a massively heavy treat! These BME songs are sounding CRUSHING, and the vibe is great. OG head cases are gonna feel it's like the first time, and all you other cats are gonna see where it all began!”

Logan Mader adds, “Really looking forward to this tour and hitting all the markets we will miss on the first run. It’s gonna be amazing! I’ve never been to Greece or Russia and now I’ll have the chance to visit both!!”

Chris Kontos echoes the sentiment, stating, “This is going to be amazing!!! Playing lots of countries I have never played before and some of my favorite places too. Watch ALICE IN CHAINS' WILLIAM DUVALL Perform Two Acoustic Tracks In 'One On One' Session

Watch ALICE IN CHAINS' WILLIAM DUVALL Perform Two Acoustic Tracks In 'One On One' Session

ALICE IN CHAINS frontman William DuVall sat down for a "One On One" session at Coney Island Baby in New York on October 1. Video footage of his performance — consisting of the tracks "White Hot" and "'Til The Light Guides Me Home" — can be seen below.

"White Hot" and "'Til The Light Guides Me Home" are taken from DuVall's debut solo album, "One Alone", which was released on October 4 via DVL Recordings.

Asked by Antihero magazine if he still has hopes, dreams and ambitions, DuVall said: "Oh yeah. I've not even hardly gotten started. Yeah, I totally feel like I haven't done anything. At the same time, yes, I'm proud of it, I'm proud of that. It just feels like, 'Oh, I've barely scratched the surface.'

"And that's why it's so important to get this record out and keep it moving," he continued. "And it's one of the reasons why I wanted this album, 'One Alone', to be so reductive, you know, it's just those one voice, one guitar, because… All right, we view it as a reaction to all the rock records I've made over the last, even just the last 20 years. Forget the hardcore punk stuff, even this last 20 years, the sort of rock-based records I've made, you know… It was time for something different. And this was about as different as I could get whilst still being totally sort of self-reliant. It's like, okay, let's just pare it down to just one voice, one guitar. And then at the same time, it's sort of like, this is a great starting point for what I hope will be more records under my own name, that can then incorporate more of the kind of sounds that I'm perhaps better known for. You know, getting back to electric music, getting back to rock and roll, getting back to those… You know, the dynamic version of electric rock and roll that I really like. But this is a great starting point for anything that might come in the future."

According to DuVall, "One Alone" sees him opening up a lot more emotionally and sharing stuff that he hadn't shared before through song. "It's almost like you could view it as like an emotional and a musical cleansing by fire, you know?" he said. "It's sort of like when you've got to burn the earth so that the soil can renew itself, kind of thing. It's like it has a little bit of that feeling of like, yeah, we want to get really raw. And that way, it's sort of like all bets are off now. It's like, 'Okay, this guy can… He's liable to come at us with anything,' you know? And we always will have this record, this 'One Alone' album, as sort of a touchpoint, you know, a sort of a base to go back to and say, like, 'Okay, yeah, well if you want the most sort of purest distillation of who this person is, go back to this record.' And there it is… This is a very, kind of, a bold way of introducing myself in to… Or maybe reintroducing myself to the folks that know ALICE, and I would hope it might be a doorway into my history as well, so they can go back and look at the COMES WITH THE FALL records and all the stuff before, and say, 'Oh wow, okay,' you know? Because people are discovering that stuff all the time anyway. But this just sort of puts the spotlight on like, 'Oh, he's got something new coming out'… It naturally leads to discussions about my history and hopefully, it will be a nice way for people to walk in and check that out."

Prior to joining ALICE IN CHAINS in 2006, DuVall was a member of punk rock bands AWARENESS VOID OF CHAOS, NEON CHRIST, BL'AST! and FINAL OFFERING. DuVall's long musical history also includes COMES WITH THE FALL and ALICE IN CHAINS guitarist Jerry Cantrell's solo work.

Cantrell befriended the members of COMES WITH THE FALL in the early 2000s, playing shows with the band on the West Coast, then enlisting the musicians to tour with him as both opening act and backing group in support of his album "Degradation Trip".

DuVall appears on the last three ALICE IN CHAINS albums: 2009's "Black Gives Way To Blue", 2013's "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" and 2018's "Rainier Fog".

KORE ROZZIK Releases Off The Wall Music Video, Announces National Halloween Tour

KORE ROZZIK Releases Off The Wall Music Video, Announces National Halloween Tour

Kore Rozzik - the self proclaimed "Bastard Child Of NYC" - has just released a new video for the song "Can't Stop Won't Stop". The song is off their debut record Vengeance Overdrive (Cleopatra Records), released last summer.

Most of the band's previous videos were dark and theatrical. However, this one seems to be more comedic and random. "I think a lot of artists can take themselves too seriously and we just wanted to give no fucks on this one," says the frontman. "Sometimes you got to just let go and be yourself - even if it’s a little bozo."

Kore has struggled with anxiety himself and wants his fans to know that they are not alone and to stay positive and strong, using his music to send the message. The video was filmed in Queens, New York inside Alley Pond Park and Arlene Grocery in NYC.

STATIC-X To Release 'Project Regeneration' Album In May 2020; Teaser For 'Hollow' Single Available

STATIC-X To Release 'Project Regeneration' Album In May 2020; Teaser For 'Hollow' Single Available

STATIC-X will release a new album titled "Project Regeneration", featuring the last recordings of the band's late frontman Wayne Static, on May 29, 2020. The rest of the group's original lineup — bassist Tony Campos, drummer Ken Jay and guitarist Koichi Fukuda — will also be featured on the album and in the music videos, including the promotional clip for the single "Hollow", which can be seen below.

"It was very surreal," says Campos. "Our producer was going through all of these old studio tapes, many of which were damaged. He called me up and told me that I needed to get down to the studio right away and listen to what he found. I jumped in my car and raced to the studio and what he shared fucking blew me away. It was Wayne singing on track after track, but there was little to no music on any of it. Most of the tapes were damaged and Wayne's voice was virtually all that remained intact."

"It was just crazy!!" adds drummer Ken Jay. "There we were, myself, Tony and Koichi, back in the studio together, after all these years, and somehow the universe decided to surprise us with all of these lost STATIC-X tapes containing Wayne's voice. I just couldn't help thinking that this was all somehow meant to be. I couldn't stop thinking about how happy this was going to make Wayne's family, and all of the STATIC-X fans around the world."

While this comes as amazing news for the fans, completing these additional tracks has created a lot of additional work for the band and their producers.

Due to the busy touring schedule associated with the 20th anniversary of "Wisconsin Death Trip", the band had no choice but to delay the album's release.

"The official release date for 'Project Regeneration' is now May 29, 2020," says Campos. "In the meantime, we have decided to go ahead and ship out ALL of the merchandise and schwag associated with the pre-orders to all the fans who have participated. This way they can have all of their shirts, hoodies, posters, etc, while we all wait a little bit longer for the music to be complete. As originally planned, the CDs will ship to everyone the week prior to release.

"In addition, we are finally able to begin sharing some of the finished music from 'Project Regeneration'," adds Campos. "There is a lot of great stuff on the way, but right now we are going to share a video clip for one of the newly finished songs called 'Hollow'. This song was originally a demo from the 'Start A War' album, which was never completed. Wayne and I never felt like the music on the original demo was fully realized. The vocals sounded great, but some of the musical compositions from that time period felt a bit experimental. There is a reason that some of these tracks never made it on a previous STATIC-X album, and it certainly wasn't because of Wayne's vocals. The band was just going through a lot of changes at that time and, in retrospect, it felt like we were straying away from that authentic STATIC-X sound that had really defined us."

Jay adds: "When we began working on 'Project Regeneration', our producers advised us to ignore all of the old demo music. We opted for the original band to re-enter the studio with nothing more than Wayne's vocal tracks. The vocals sound really great and I think that Wayne would be really happy with what we've done with the music and to hear that these tracks have finally realized their full potential."

"The 20th anniversary for 'Wisconsin Death Trip' only comes once in a lifetime," says Fukuda, "and this year has been absolutely incredible. The new album is going to be very special and this whole 20th-anniversary touring process has been a very unique and healing experience for the band and also for the fans."

"We are so grateful to the fans who have made 2019 such an incredible year for STATIC-X," adds Jay. "We have toured the world and celebrated the life and work of our dear friend Wayne while playing our debut album front to back every night. The fans have really exceeded our expectations and again, we are just so grateful!"

"Now that the touring for 2019 is coming to an end, we have revised our schedule and we are excited to finish the album so that we can get it into the hands of the fans A.S.A.P.," states Campos. "I promise that it will be worth the wait!"

VOLBEAT Walks Off Stage In Belfast After One Song (Video)

VOLBEAT Walks Off Stage In Belfast After One Song (Video)

Danish/American rockers VOLBEAT left the stage during the opening minutes of their concert in Belfast, Northern Ireland last night (Thursday, October 2).

Frontman Michael Poulsen and his bandmates reportedly made two attempts — within 10 minutes of each other — to play VOLBEAT's recent single "Pelvis On Fire" before walking off, leaving fans at Ulster Hall confused. It was later announced that the performance had been canceled.

Last night, VOLBEAT issued a statement via social media apologizing for the cancelation. They wrote: "As many of you know, Michael has been having some throat issues and we ran into multiple technical issues on stage that prevented the band from being able to hear each other play. While he has mostly recovered his voice at this point, it was decided that had he continued to play the show this way he would have risked blowing out his voice again and having to cancel even more shows. We're gutted that we weren't able to perform for you tonight, but we will be back to reschedule the show as soon as we possibly can."

Not everybody was understanding about the reasons for the concert being called off, with one fan questioning how support acts BARONESS and DANKO JONES were seemingly able to play through the technical issues.

"How did the two bands play before ok but Volbeat couldn't? So disappointing!," he said.

Another fan took issue with the fact that the show wasn't called off earlier, with some fans traveling long distances to attend the gig.

"To be fair if he was struggling with his throat, he could've cancelled yesterday, or came out and said that he was sorry himself or at least someone in the band explained the issues," the fan wrote. "We were standing there for an extra 30 minutes with no idea what was going on."

A third fan added: "If it's technical issues it would have been spotted at soundcheck. How come both DANKO JONES & BARONESS played? DANKO JONES was absolutely class though..so good. Just so disappointed with the lack of explanation from VOLBEAT at the gig."

Last month, VOLBEAT was forced to postpone its concert in Bristol, United Kingdom due to illness.

The band is touring in support of its seventh album, "Rewind, Replay, Rebound", which was released on August 2 via Republic Records. The disc was produced by longtime collaborator Jacob Hansen and co-produced by Rob Caggiano and Michael Poulsen. This marks the first studio album with Kaspar Boye Larsen on bass.

Absolutely disgusted at the actions of @VOLBEAT tonight in @UlsterHall. 30 seconds into first song and the singer walls off stage. Wait 10 mins, gives us another 10 seconds then they're off again. No apologies, nothing!! Apparently the primadonna hadn't the right sound in his ear

— Gareth Leslie (@starsky74) October 3, 2019

@VOLBEAT cancelled in Belfast after half a song due to technical issues with the sound! Band just walked off stage and left everyone looking at this for 15mins with no updates. Incredibly poor. Fans deserve more than just a refund, be interesting to see if there's a statement. pic.twitter.com/n6ZTOYUoA3

PHIL LABONTE Wants Next ALL THAT REMAINS Album To Be Released In Early 2021

PHIL LABONTE Wants Next ALL THAT REMAINS Album To Be Released In Early 2021

Prior to ALL THAT REMAINS's September 27 performance in Phoenix, Arizona, vocalist Phil Labonte spoke with Global AZ Media. The full conversation can be seen below. A few excerpts follow (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET).

On when to expect new music from the group:

Phil: "We'll get done with this tour, and then our guitar player Jason Richardson has to do a solo record that I think he intends to finish up before the end of the year, so ALL THAT REMAINS will go ahead and take a little bit of time off. We're talking about doing some more touring [in the] early part of next year, but we'll see. We talked about starting to write stuff. I talked to a couple producers that we've been throwing ideas around with. I can't announce anything yet, but I'll be getting together with some people to start writing some stuff when we go home after this tour. We'll get the whole band together probably January and start hashing stuff out seriously, but I don't see us going to actually record until at least summertime. Maybe late summer? I don't want the record to come out next year. For me personally, I just don't like having a record come out in the second half of the year. I'd rather have it come out [in the] first part of 2021, because we don't have enough time to get the record done and have it out by the second quarter of 2020. That's what we're shooting for, but who knows — things change."

On the band's preferred recording process:

Phil: "We've done different places, [but] we like to stay in New England. We like to stay at home. Our last record, we did with Dan Laskiewicz, who used to be in THE ACACIA STRAIN. He's actually from my hometown, Chicopee, [Massachusetts], so it was nice to be able to go into his place and do it at his studio... We don't really have an affinity for a studio in particular, but we like to stay in New England. We did [2008's] 'Overcome' in Florida and we did [2017's] 'Madness' in L.A., and for us, it's most comfortable to do a record at home. It's easier for us; everyone gets to sleep in their own bed at night."

On balancing touring and relationships:

Phil: "Our guitar player Mike [Martin], is married. Jason Richardson has a girlfriend, and [drummer] Jason Costa has a girlfriend. I used to be married; [bassist] Aaron Patrick used to be married. The whole touring and going away to record and stuff, that does take a toll — it takes a toll on a relationship. It's hard to make things work when you have that much distance consistently. It can be trying, but if you commit the time to it, I think you can, because I know a lot of people that have made it work, but it is not an easy thing to do."

On touring:

Phil: "For us, touring in the U.S. is definitely more comfortable. You'll hear a lot of European bands say that it's more comfortable touring in the U.S. too. Buses are bigger; buses have generators, so you've always got power. In Europe, they don't have generators on them. They're a little bit smaller, so you have to roll up to the club and plug in. Days off are challenging, because if you're staying on the bus for the day off, you have to find a place to park where there's power. It's more difficult. I will say that in the past few years, it's become easier to stay in communication with home. It used to be where you had to get international plans that were hundreds and hundreds of dollars, or you'd spend a ton of money on international data."

On guitars:

Phil: "I don't play guitar on stage, but I play guitar at home, and I write riffs and stuff. I've got an Ibanez that Oli [Herbert], our old guitar player, got us made last year that he gave me, and I've got a Washburn that Mike lends me that has been, I think, on every record since [2006's] 'The Fall Of Ideals'. That's the one I tend to use the most to write."

On his current favorites:

Phil: "I like BRING ME THE HORIZON a lot. They've got a really cool sound. The new Taylor Swift record is pretty good. I'm genuinely a Taylor Swift fan. I don't think her new record is as good as the last one. I think '1989' was probably her best. 'Reputation' was really good — there's a lot of good songs on it. The new one, it's okay, but it's not as good as 'Red'. The previous three were really strong records — just chock-full of great songs. I don't feel like the new one is quite as good, but it's not a bad record by any stretch of the imagination."

ALL THAT REMAINS's latest album, "Victim Of The New Disease", was released in November 2018 via Fearless in North America and Eleven Seven in Europe.

JOSHUA HOMME's 'Desert Sessions' Volumes 11 And 12: New Trailer Available

JOSHUA HOMME's 'Desert Sessions' Volumes 11 And 12: New Trailer Available

Ending a 16-year hiatus since its last installment, the most mythical, longest running rock n roll mixtape odyssey in existence, "Desert Sessions" will return this October with the most ambitious entries yet in its expansive and elusive catalog: Volumes 11 and 12 (a.k.a. respectively "Arrivederci Despair" and "Tightwads & Nitwits & Critics & Heels") will be released October 25 on Matador Records. A limited-edition first vinyl pressing will include a one-of-a-kind custom mix-and-match body swap booklet.

A trailer for the new "Desert Sessions" is available below.

Volumes 11 and 12 were recorded mostly in a six-day span in December 2018 at Rancho De La Luna studios in Joshua Tree, California with QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE founder and "Desert Sessions" ringleader/producer Joshua Homme enlisting a cast of players including:

* Billy Gibbons (ZZ TOP)

* Stella Mozgawa (WARPAINT)

* Jake Shears (SCISSOR SISTERS)

* Mike Kerr (ROYAL BLOOD)

* Carla Azar (AUTOLUX, JACK WHITE)

* Les Claypool (PRIMUS)

* Matt Sweeney

* Matt Berry ("What We Do in the Shadows", "Toast Of London")

* Libby Grace

* Töôrnst Hülpft

The results are eight new songs that embody the legacy of freedom from expectations and inhibitions that stretches back to 1997, when Homme led a first retreat to the Joshua Tree desert. What began as a casual writing and recording session amongst friends — isolated from daily distractions and comforts — has since become a possibly infinite body of work. Now spanning 12 volumes over the course of two decades (and a total of two documented live performances), the "Desert Sessions" has featured some of music's most cherished icons — past players have included Polly Harvey, Mark Lanegan, Josh Freese, Dean Ween, among many others — deliberately removing themselves from their comfort zones and working together to create some of their most relaxed yet challenging work.

For a glimpse into the various players' reactions to the completed work, check out a Liam Lynch-directed exclusive video interview with Homme below.

The tracklist for "Desert Sessions" volumes 11 and 12 is:

* Move Together (lead vocal: Billy F. Gibbons)

* Noses in Roses Forever (lead vocal: Joshua Homme)

* Far East For The Trees

* If You Run (lead vocal: Libby Grace)

* Crucifire (lead vocal: Mike Kerr)

* Chic Tweetz (vocals: Töôrnst Hülpft, Matt Berry)

* Something You Can't See (lead vocal: Jake Shears)

* Easier Said Than Done (lead vocal: Joshua Homme)

FREDDIE MERCURY's 'Banned' Video For 'Living On My Own' Now In High Definition And Enhanced Sound

FREDDIE MERCURY's 'Banned' Video For 'Living On My Own' Now In High Definition And Enhanced Sound

Tying in with the upcoming October 11 release of the Freddie Mercury "Never Boring" solo box set, this week will see a brand new version of perhaps Freddie's most (in)famous solo video — for his single "Living On My Own" from his "Mr. Bad Guy" album, released on YouTube.

The album is one of three within the box set in a newly mixed 11-track special edition. The package also includes a new 12-track compilation of many of Freddie's greatest solo performances and a nine-track 2012 special edition of the "Barcelona" album. The three are also available to buy individually.

The 2019 4K video re-created from the original film rushes and the new audio mix of "Living On My Own" goes live on YouTube this Friday, October 4, and Freddie would probably be smiling down from above.

Filmed at his now legendary 39th birthday party in 1985 in Munich where Freddie was living while recording his first solo album — a period depicted in the box office blockbuster "Bohemian Rhapsody" — Freddie's 300 invited guests included Mary Austin, Boy George, Steve Strange, Jim Hutton, Brian May, former manager John Reid, Freddie and QUEEN's then-manager Jim Beach and a colorful Munich coterie of entertainers, singers and cross dressers with famous paparazzi photographer Richard Young dressed in full drag taking the photos.

Shot on a revolving ceiling mounted 35 mm camera throughout the entire night while 300 of Freddie's closest friends partied hard at Munich's infamous Mrs. Henderson transvestite club all decked out in black and white drag (mandatory), the footage shot by Austrian director Rudi Dolezal shocked Freddie's record company boss Walter Yetnikov when it was delivered. So much so, he promptly banned the high-spirited footage from being seen on television on the grounds of its "perceived promiscuity." The video was instantly shelved and the single stalled at No. 50 on the chart.

It wasn't until the single's No More Brothers' remix re-release on EMI in 1993 that the video finally saw the light of day. The single this time reached No.1 and became the biggest selling single of the year in Europe. In 1994, Freddie posthumously received an Ivor Novello Award for International Hit of the Year.

The "banned" party footage has since become the source of Freddie's most popular and most seen solo video.

Now in high definition and enhanced sound, we can again join in that night at Mrs. Henderson and remember Freddie's sense of fun. Freddie would surely grin over the fact that his most legendary birthday can still bring a smile to us all these years later.

VIVIAN CAMPBELL Dismisses LAST IN LINE 'Cash-Grab' Accusations: 'I'm Certainly Not Doing It For The Money'

VIVIAN CAMPBELL Dismisses LAST IN LINE 'Cash-Grab' Accusations: 'I'm Certainly Not Doing It For The Money'

Vivian Campbell has laughed off the "cash-grab" accusations leveled at his LAST IN LINE project, saying that the band is barely making ends meet while on the road.

"You're talking about flying Southwest, staying at a Holiday Inn Express, driving in a... van and eating cheese sandwiches every day," he told Tulsa World.

"I do not need to do the LAST IN LINE thing," the guitarist, who has been a member of DEF LEPPARD for 27 years, continued. "I do it because it's catharsis for the soul. I'm certainly not doing it for the money. It makes me a better guitar player and I think I'm playing better than I've ever played in my life and I think DEF LEPPARD benefits from it."

Campbell, along with drummer Vinny Appice and bassist Jimmy Bain, was part of DIO's first incarnation, which reunited in 2012 alongside singer Andrew Freeman to form LAST IN LINE.

When LAST IN LINE formed, the intent was to celebrate Ronnie James Dio's early work by reuniting the members of the original DIO lineup. After playing shows that featured a setlist composed exclusively of material from the first three DIO albums, the band decided to move forward and create new music in a similar vein.

"I wouldn't have done it if Ronnie was still alive because, if Ronnie was still alive, then there would have been some incarnation of the band DIO and I wouldn't have wanted to compete with that or be in conflict with it," Campbell told Tulsa World.

LAST IN LINE takes its name from the second DIO album released in 1984. Appice, Bain and Campbell were Ronnie James Dio's co-conspirators and co-writers on the "Holy Diver", "The Last In Line" and "Sacred Heart" albums — the records that defined the classic early DIO sound and have gone on to become part of rock history.

LAST IN LINE's sophomore album, "II", was released in February via Frontiers Music Srl. As with 2016's "Heavy Crown", the new disc was produced by DOKKEN and FOREIGNER bassist Jeff Pilson.

"Heavy Crown"'s release had been preceded by tragedy when Bain unexpectedly passed away at the age of 68 on January 23, 2016. LAST IN LINE, honoring what they knew would be Bain's wish to keep the band moving, brought in renowned bassist Phil Soussan (ex-OZZY OSBOURNE) and committed to sustained touring in support of the album, hitting festivals, headlining clubs, and sharing the stage with metal luminaries such as SAXON and MEGADETH.

ENSIFERUM, EVERFROST Members Join Forces In METAL DE FACTO – Debut Album Out In November; First Single Streaming

ENSIFERUM, EVERFROST Members Join Forces In METAL DE FACTO – Debut Album Out In November; First Single Streaming

Finnish power metal band Metal De Facto will release their debut album, Imperium Romanum, on November 22 via Rockshots Records.

The first single from the album, "The Conqueror," is now available via all major digital stores, and the video is streaming below.

Bass player Sami Hinkka, also of the band Ensiferum, comments, "'The Conqueror' is the opening track of the album and it tells about the founding myth of Rome. But instead of once again just telling the legend of the brothers Romulus and Remus, we played around with the idea of what Romulus thought after he killed his brother. And even though he saw the glory of Rome, could it have been even greater if they both would've still been there to rule together? Musically the song is exactly what we had in our minds when MDF was founded: ass-kicking power/heavy metal with fast pace, powerful vocals, catchy chorus, mind-blowing solos."

Imperium Romanum was recorded, mixed and mastered at Goodman Studios and Tadaa Music Studio by Esa Orjatsalo. The artwork was created by the renowned Hungarian artist Gyula Havancsák (Blind Guardian'sTwilight Orchestra, Stratovarius, Accept, Grave Digger, Powerwolf). The album also features a spoken word by Maurizio Iacono (Kataklysm, Ex-Deo) in the last song, "Germanicus."

Metal De Facto was formed in late 2017 by Esa Orjatsalo (ex-Dreamtale) and Sami Hinkka (Ensiferum), who had met and discussed the deeper meanings of power metal on Ensiferum's tour bus. The lineup was soon completed with Atte Marttinen (ex-Kivimetsän Druidi), Benji Connelly (Everfrost), Mikko Salovaara (Leverage) and Mikael Salo (Everfrost). The band promises to "Make Power Metal Great Again" with their powerful sound and epic concepts that deal with different historical themes and mythologies.

The idea was that every album would have a theme based on a certain country's/culture's history and mythology. The debut album will deal with the Roman Empire and the many tales, true stories and philosophies associated with it. Each song is about a different aspect of this grand topic, and while being enjoyable as escapist storytelling in itself, also delves into the mindset of the different characters and people from whose perspectives the songs are written.

Tracklisting:

“The Conqueror”
“Legionnaires’ Oath”
“Naturalis Historia”
“Inferno”
“Bacchanalia”
“Echoes In Eternity”
“Colosseum”
“Ides Of March”
“The Ascending Of Jupiter”
“Germanicus” (feat. Maurizio Iacono)

KATATONIA – 1992 Demo Jhva Elohim Meth Reissued On Vinyl

KATATONIA – 1992 Demo Jhva Elohim Meth Reissued On Vinyl

Jhva Elohim Meth was the first studio recording by Katatonia and released originally as a demo in 1992. With the classic track “Without God” going on to be included on their legendary full length debut Dance Of December Souls, the demo displayed a startling maturity, with a sumptuous blend of atmospheric and melancholy death doom metal. A cult example of the darkness which was creeping into the early ‘90s extreme metal scene, Jhva Elohim Meth now remains an iconic entry into the metallic legacy of the Swedes.

The five track release was recorded at Gorysound Studio and produced and mixed by Dan Swanö (Bloodbath, Opeth) in July of 1992. Dan also contributed to the release with keyboards and some vocal passages.

This edition of Jhva Elohim Meth is presented with the original artwork, and is presented on limited blue coloured vinyl by Peaceville Records.

This past June, SCORPIONS guitarist Rudolf Schenker confirmed to Scorpions News that the band has commenced the songwriting process for a possible new studio album. If it materializes, the upcoming disc will mark the German hard rock legends' first release since 2017's "Born To Touch Your Feelings - Best Of Rock Ballads", which was an anthology of SCORPIONS' new and classic material.

SCORPIONS' last full-length collection of new recordings was 2015's "Return To Forever", partially comprising songs the band had in the vault from the '80s. It was the final recorded appearance of SCORPIONS' longtime drummer James Kottak, who was dismissed from the band in September 2016. He has since been replaced by Mikkey Dee, formerly of MOTÖRHEAD.

SCORPIONS singer Klaus Meine told Scorpions Brazil that "there were plenty of ideas" when the band returned to the studio in April. "It was a really good vibe to work without big pressure or anything — just come back together, write a couple of songs, enjoy some time in the studio," he said. "And it really turned out really good and in a very positive way. Because we hadn't been in the studio for quite a while, so it was a very positive experience. And I would have loved if we could keep going, because we just have a great flow."

Meine went on to say that there was a "good feeling in the SCORPIONS camp" that "there might be a new album out in 2020… It's just a very positive experience, and it feels like such a great start with songwriting; we recorded some demos and stuff," he said. "So it really feels good; we're in a good way to come up with something next year."

Last year, Schenker told Headbangers Lifestyle that SCORPIONS have tapped "a famous and well-known" producer to helm the band's new LP. He added: "We are all very excited to produce a new, historic rock 'n' roll album."

MÖTLEY CRÜE Releases Music Video For 'Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)' Featuring Footage From 'The Dirt'

MÖTLEY CRÜE Releases Music Video For 'Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)' Featuring Footage From 'The Dirt'

MÖTLEY CRÜE has released a 2019 music video for the "Dr. Feelgood" album song "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)", with additional footage from the band's biopic "The Dirt". Check it out below.

"The Dirt", based on CRÜE's 2001 New York Times bestselling autobiography, debuted in March on Netflix. The film's stars, Douglas Booth (Nikki Sixx), "Game Of Thrones"' Iwan Rheon (Mick Mars), Colson Baker (a.k.a. Machine Gun Kelly) (Tommy Lee), Daniel Webber (Vince Neil), David Costabile (Doc McGhee) and Pete Davidson (Tom Zutaut) have all gotten critical kudos. "They possess similar abilities to navigate between charm and repulsion, all working together to create such a chummy group that their power as an ensemble elevates the material. Just like their real-life counterparts," wrote The Guardian.

MÖTLEY CRÜE's Nikki Sixx said: "In the film, we show painful examples of domestic violence, DUI, manslaughter, drug overdose and the loss of a child. We couldn't possibly have crammed everything from a 430-page book into an-hour-and-50-minute movie, but we felt we achieved our objective of showing the downside of sex drugs and rock and roll."

"The Dirt Soundtrack" features four new songs, including the first single, "The Dirt (Est. 1981) (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)", and CRÜE's unlikely cover of Madonna's "Like A Virgin".

MÖTLEY CRÜE's last studio album was 2008's "Saints Of Los Angeles", which was followed by a 2009 "Greatest Hits" compilation.

In 2015, MÖTLEY CRÜE completed "The Final Tour", closing the book on the band's iconic career after performing a total of 164 shows in 72 markets, grossing over $100 million.

To cement the sense of finality, the four members of MÖTLEY CRÜE in 2014 publicly signed a "cessation of touring" contract that prevents any of them from performing under the CRÜE name in the future.

A tour film about MÖTLEY CRÜE's final shows, "The End", came out in 2016.

Hear RATT's STEPHEN PEARCY And JANE'S ADDICTION's DAVE NAVARRO Perform Acoustic Version Of 'Lack Of Communication'

Hear RATT's STEPHEN PEARCY And JANE'S ADDICTION's DAVE NAVARRO Perform Acoustic Version Of 'Lack Of Communication'

RATT singer Stephen Pearcy and JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist Dave Navarro performed an acoustic version of the RATT classic "Lack Of Communication" during an appearance earlier today (Monday, October 7) on SiriusXM's "Trunk Nation". You can now listen to their rendition below.

A short time after the program aired, Navarro shared an Instagram photo of him with Pearcy, along with the following message: "Big day for me. When @stephenperkinsdrummer and I were in high school we used to ditch and get to the clubs EARLY to see @ratt and hopefully meet the guys. Years later, I get the honor of joining @stevenepearcy on @eddietrunk today. Really grateful to be able to hang onto memories like that and take pause and grasp where I ended up. This guy was one of our inspirations back in the day! Thanks to @ratt and RIP to my ex room mate and pal #robincrosby"

Pearcy recently told The Morning Call that RATT has been writing new music. He said he is collaborating for the first time in years with bassist Juan Croucier, and even with new guitarist Jordan Ziff.

The vocalist described the new material as something between the band's 1983 self-titled debut EP and the triple-platinum "Out Of The Cellar".

Last month, Pearcy told Atlantic City Weekly that RATT was planning to make new music available in 2020. "We're deciding now how we want to go about releasing it, whether it will be a full record or just a bunch of singles," he said. "I think we will probably go that route though — release a few singles, see how people take to it and the rest is easy."

RATT hasn't released any new music since 2010's "Infestation" album.
