OZZY OSBOURNE Posts Rare Live Video From Ozzfest 1996; “Perry Mason” Clip StreamingOzzy Osbourne has uploaded this rare video, performing “Perry Mason” at Ozzfest 1996 in Devore, California.
In a new interview with Rolling Stone Australia, Black Sabbath legends Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler talk about their final tour, appropriately called The End. Here are a few excerpts from the chat:
Ozzy on calling it quits: “I don't want to drag it into the dirt," Osbourne says. "The best thing that happened to Sabbath the first time was we went our own ways for a while (in 1979). It was good for them and good for me. The decision is final. You could put money on it.”
Geezer on calling it quits: "It'll be bittersweet. I’m glad we're finishing on a high note but sad that it's the end of what I've known for most of my life."
Ozzy on the future: ”Time ain't on our side. To be honest with you, if the new record wasn't another Number One, we would have been pissed off, so we just left it on a high note with 13. I'm not saying I'll never record with Tony or Geezer again. I just don't want to tour with Black Sabbath after this."
Ozzy on the band’s heavy-partying days: “We're not killing ourselves [anymore]," Osbourne says. "It doesn't get any easier physically. I don't know how the fucking Stones do it. I was the fucking rebel for so many years. Now I can't understand why I was going out, getting full of Jack Daniel's, having a bag of white powder and talking shit till daybreak, thinking that was fun. I would poke my fucking eyes out if I had to do that now."

INCANTATION Announce XXV - Quarter Century Of Blasphemy Limited Edition Vinyl; Promo Video StreamingIncantation: A megalithic entity of the death metal underground, whose New York scene association, alongside other pioneers of the genre, heads into a new/old chapter with their first-ever release chronicling 25 years on this foreboding, doomed planet.
Ever-precise to their origins, Incantation has witnessed, and experienced, the ebb and flow of a scene which they helped create. With ten studio albums under their bullet-adorned belts (which includes numerous videos, and even a TV commercial), those early, primeval years saw a slew of releases, in various forms, that are as relevant today as the day they were released. In that time, the band has accrued many accolades, including Hall Of Fame designations, Top 10 lists, and countless praises and honours of their discography through various publications, websites, and radio programs.
As if all this weren't brutal enough, Incantation has crushed many venues, festivals, and clubs worldwide with their rabid performance. From North, Central and South America, Europe, Scandinavia, Australia, and Japan - the entire world has voluntarily succumbed to the vehement inferno that swept clean their lands, leaving nothing but molten ash.
Through it all, the band has amassed an army of supporters and fans who have willingly - eagerly - endured a quarter century of blashemy. As testament to this, the band decided it was high time to give something back to the Incantation legions worldwide. This very special 12" gatefold vinyl release draws form a robust collection of work - dawn to the present. Included are select live songs, a brand new track, and the re-recording of three classic songs that combine to represent a band unafraid to revisit the demons of old.
Bare witness as the XXV vinyl approaches. Let John and Kyle explain the details over the first listen to the songs within. Check out the video below.

MADMEN & SINNERS Mastermind TIM DONAHUE Streaming Four Unreleased Songs Featuring JAMES LABRIE And MIKE MANGINIIn 2004, fretless guitarist Tim Domahue released the self-titled Madmen & Sinners album featuring Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie and drummer Mike Mangini, who joined Dream Theater in 2010. Four songs from the recording sessions were never released, but Donahue has decided to stream them online. He contacted BraveWords today (March 11th) with an exclusive update:
"I've decided to post the tracks I've hung onto for a while of me, James and Mike. James sang exactly as I had written the pieces, and he sang his heart out. It's just not right to let them sit with no one hearing them, so here they are in their unfinished glory."
The songs in order are:
"Falling Sky"
"History Repeats"
"A Heartbeat Away"
"All That Remains"
Tim Donahue: electric harp guitar. bass, vocals, vocal manipulations
James LaBrie: vocals
Mike Mangini: drums
Written & produced by Tim Donahue
BraveWords scribe Carl Begai recently spoke with Donahue about Madmen & Sinners - which he has since resurrected without LaBrie - and the "lost" second album.
In 2000, Niagara native Tim Donahue made a small international splash with Into The Light, a solo record showcasing his skills as a fretless guitarist featuring current Foreigner vocalist Kelly Hansen. A year later he began working on a significantly heavier batch of songs that were unashamedly metal-influenced and came with a wish list of potential singers. During a meeting in Toronto over burgers and beer, I had the honour of hearing what would eventually become the Madmen & Sinners album. Asked who I felt would be the best voice for the material, I suggested Dream Theater vocalist James LaBrie, unaware his name was at the top of Donahue’s list. Contact was made, plans were hatched, and in 2004 the duo released the Madmen & Sinners debut, an album unique to their respective careers. It was new territory for both Donahue and LaBrie, and ground they (sadly) haven’t returned to since.
“I don’t play the six-string fretless at all anymore unless I’m asked, like for the tracks on Nozomi Itani’s album (Station To Station from 2012). That was the first time I picked up the fretless in many years. Other than that I play the fretless harp guitar. I hate to say it, but the harp guitar has so much going on that when I pick up the six-string I yawn (laughs). I don’t mean that as anything against traditional guitars but the harp guitar kicks my ass and takes me to places I’ve never been.”
Although it’s been over 10 years since the release of Madmen & Sinners, the record still holds a special place in Donahue’s heart.
“I love the heaviness of the tunes. There are a lot of heavy bands out there and I’m certainly not the heaviest guitarist, but the songs and the actual writing, I think that’s why the music hits you in the heart even though some of the songs are really heavy.”
“You should hear the stuff I wrote after that,” he continues. “I could have released the second album through EMI but the harp guitar kind of called me and took me away. There is a second Madmen album written and I like it better than the first one. I love the first album; I don’t like the way the recording sounds but I love the music. The second album is deeper but… maybe in another life.”
LaBrie’s participation on a second Madmen & Sinners album was never written in stone, but there is unreleased material with his vocals on them. Four tracks to be exact, albeit incomplete.
“I have these extra tracks with James singing on them,” Donahue confirms. “He really wanted to do them and I said that if we had enough time after we finished the first album, we would. We were in the studio and he really pushed to do those other four tracks.”
Go to this location for the complete story.

ABBATH On LEMMY: 'He Was Like A Father To Us In Many Ways'In a new interview with DCHeavyMetal.com, former IMMORTAL and current ABBATH frontman Olve Eikemo (a.k.a. Abbath), who also plays in a MOTÖRHEAD cover band called BÖMBERS, was asked if he ever had a chance to meet MOTÖRHEAD mainman Lemmy Kilmister before his death this past December. "Yeah, several times," he responded. "What a fucking gentleman he was, yeah. Him and Ronnie Dio, coolest guys I've ever met."
He continued: "I love my father, but fuckin' hell, those were my fathers too, ya know. And [it was] just devastating. It was… I still can't believe they're gone ya know. Fuckin' hell.
"Me and [ABBATH bassist] King, you know, we went to Greece… a couple days ago we came home recently from Greece finishing the video for 'Winterbane', and I bought this Metal Hammer special. I mean, I had like a five-hour wait in [the] Copenhagen airport and [the] Metal Hammer special, Lemmy special and I just sat… there in the bar reading it and, and uh… you know I… I got this lump in my throat and it just… it just, you know… devastating. He was like a father to us in many ways."
Abbath added: "Lemmy… he was the best. He was the coolest. He was everything. So where do we go from here, you know? Yeah. Carry on. Carry fucking on. Rock and roll. Yeah."
The self-titled debut album from ABBATH was released on January 22 via Season Of Mist. 19

THE HIVES Frontman Puts His Name Forward For AC/DC JobHowlin' Pelle Almqvist, lead singer of the Swedish garage-rock revivalists THE HIVES, says that he is willing to step in for AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, who has been advised by doctors to stop touring immediately or risk total hearing loss.
THE HIVES, who are known for performing in ever-changing black and white suits and their spirited live shows, supported AC/DC on an Australian tour late last year.
Now Almqvist, whose stage presence has been compared to that of Mick Jagger's, says that he would jump at the chance of performing with AC/DC.
He writes in a post on THE HIVES' Facebook page: "Very sad to hear Brian Johnson can't do a bunch of AC/DC shows due to health problems. That man is a legend. I would like offer my sincerest well wishes and get wells. And if any help is needed, I put my foot forward and say: HERE I AM!"
He continues: "I have many many years of experience rocking the world's biggest stages and, according to others, I am the greatest frontman in rock, plus judging from the reaction in Australia, your crowd already seems to really like me. Plus, I have already been singing those songs since I was six years old. So, AC/DC, please consider my application!"
AC/DC was forced to postpone the last 10 dates of its current North American tour after Johnson got the news from his doctors. The band has said it will reschedule the dates, possibly with a guest vocalist on the mic.
In a recent interview with Faster Louder, Pelle stated about AC/DC: "For all of us, I think that AC/DC was probably the first rock band that we liked. It was the first music that we decided to listen to ourselves, when we could pick our own music. We had the cassettes from a neighbor, the tape of 'For Those About To Rock' in, like, 1982 when we were, like, five or six years old. Since then, they've been one of our favorite bands. In THE HIVES, we keep referencing AC/DC a lot and stuff."
He added: "I think there are bands that have a definite sound, and sound a certain way. AC/DC's one of them. You kind of know what it's going to sound like. And why abandon that? If you come up with something, that's going to ride until it croaks…"
Asked what his favorite AC/DC album is, Pelle said: "'Powerage', I think. That's the one I've listened to most. Or maybe 'For Those About To Rock', because that was the first one I heard. But I think 'Powerage' is the one I’ve listened to most. It's been in my car stereo for years. [Laughs]. 45

WARRANT's JOEY ALLEN Calls Cover Of JANI LANE's Posthumous Album 'Tasteless'WARRANT guitarist Joey Allen has told BlastEcho in a new interview that he found the cover artwork of a recently released posthumous album from the band's lead singer Jani Lane "a little tasteless."
"Catch A Falling Star" — which includes Lane's cover versions of songs by the likes of DEF LEPPARD, BON JOVI and UFO — features a glammed-out Lane on the cover with his finger to his temple. While Lane died of alcohol poisoning, not suicide, Allen still finds the image to be inappropriate.
"I don't know if any got that out of the picture," Allen told BlastEcho, "but, to me, it was a little tasteless." He then added: "I hope that that's benefiting his two children. If his legacy goes on that way, it isn't any different than playing the songs he penned live every night."
"Catch A Falling Star" was released on February 26 on Deadline Music.
In addition to guest appearances by two of Lane's bandmates, guitarist Erik Turner and bassist Jerry Dixon, "Catch A Falling Star" includes liner notes by former WARRANT drummer Bobby Borg, who shares his personal recollections of Lane.
Lane suffered from "acute ethanol poisoning" when he died in August 2011 at a Comfort Inn motel room in Woodland Hills, California. The singer had battled alcoholism for years and also had a history of alcohol-related arrests.
Lane originally left WARRANT in March 1993 but rejoined the band in September 1994. The group went on to record the "Ultraphobic" (1995), "Belly To Belly" (1996) and "Greatest & Latest" (1999) albums and issued and collection of covers, "Under The Influence", in 2001. Jani quit WARRANT again in 2004 before reuniting with the group four years later. 1

PAUL BOSTAPH: Why SLAYER Continued After JEFF HANNEMAN's DeathSLAYER drummer Paul Bostaph has told Canada's GigCity.ca that there was never any doubt that the band would continue following the tragic passing of the group's co-founding guitarist Jeff Hanneman in 2013.
"When confronted with death, when your mortality is challenged, you realize how fragile life is and that it can be gone in a second," he said. "Then it becomes clear to you that the things that aren't important to you, you have a tendency to throw them out the window. When you're an artist of any kind, I think your art is part of you. It's not just a job. You're in it for years. It's your art, it's what you do, it's part of you. To have someone to take that away or to just give up, well, that's not something this band is about."
Bostaph remembered his late bandmate as a pretty mellow guy. "I think he hated being on the road," the drummer said. "Everything about being a a quote-unquote rock star he wasn't interested in. He wasn't all about people blowing sunshine up his ass. Jeff loved to play music, he loved watching hockey games, he loved to have a laugh and good time."
Hanneman died in May 2013 from alcohol-related cirrhosis of the liver. He is credited for writing many of SLAYER's classic songs, including "Angel Of Death" and "South Of Heaven".
Hanneman's last appearance with SLAYER was in April 2011, when he played an encore with the band at the "Big Four" concert in Indio, California.
SLAYER's latest album, "Repentless", was released on September 11, 2015 via Nuclear Blast. 2

ADRENALINE MOB Guitarist MIKE ORLANDO Joins Brazil's NOTURNALLADRENALINE MOB and SONIC STOMP guitarist Mike Orlando has joined NOTURNALL. The Brazil-based band, which features drumming sensation Aquiles Priester (ex-ANGRA, PRIMAL FEAR) alongside Thiago Bianchi on vocals, Fernando Quesada on bass and Junior Carelli on keyboards, backed Orlando during his SONIC STOMP performance on the Axes & Anchors cruise last month. NOTURNALL also performed at last year's edition of the Rock In Rio festival, with Orlando and Michael Kiske (HELLOWEEN, UNISONIC) as special guests.
Said Orlando in a video message announcing his addition to NOTURNALL (see below): "It starts way back from the ADRENALINE MOB tour, I think, last year. I met these incredible musicians. We went out with ADRENALINE MOB and NOTURNALL and had such a great time. The chemistry was amazing. We became like family, brothers instantaneous; we had such a great time. From there, it kind of blossomed. They invited me back to Brazil, and we went over to Rio De Janeiro and we played the incredible Rock In Rio, which was one of the greatest shows I've ever done in my career. Just people as far as you could see who were just so passionate and so great on so many levels. And it blossomed from there. You know, the chemistry with these guys on stage, it's amazing, so it kind of grew into them joining me in SONIC STOMP… So it kind of just keeps blossoming. It seems to be this kind of steamroller effect, which brings me to now performing with these gentlemen in NOTURNALL." Orlando will head over to Brazil next month for a handful of SONIC STOMP clinic dates and the filming of a live-in-studio SONIC STOMP DVD.
NOTURNALL's second album, "Back To Fuck You Up!", came out last year.

Video: QUEENSRŸCHE Singer Performs 'Love Ain't No Stranger' With WHITESNAKE GuitaristFan-filmed video footage of QUEENSRŸCHE singer Todd La Torre and WHITESNAKE guitarist Joel Hoekstra performing an acoustic cover version of the WHITESNAKE classic "Love Ain't No Stranger" during this year's Monsters Of Rock cruise — the four-day, four-night voyage which set sail from Miami, Florida on February 22 and returned on February 26 — can be seen below.
Hoekstra joined WHITESNAKE in 2014 following the departure of Doug Aldrich. WHITESNAKE mainman David Coverdale stated at the time: "Joel came with six shiny stars of approval in every aspect of his life, but Jesus Christ, what a player! We pretty much… He was the only guy… We didn't audition him. We just threw him in, we jammed [together] and [told him], 'You want it? You're in.' It was that simple. We just had to keep it quiet out of respect for his colleagues in his former band [NIGHT RANGER], and I respected that 'till the point where it was just starting to get out, and I said, 'You know, you want some front page on this, J., we've gotta pull the trigger.'"
QUEENSRŸCHE hired Todd La Torre to replace Geoff Tate in 2012 and has released two albums with the ex-CRIMSON GLORY frontman: 2013's "Queensrÿche" and the aforementioned "Condition Hüman". 1

IRON MAIDEN's Plane 'Badly Damaged' In Collision At Santiago AirportIRON MAIDEN's branded private tour plane was involved in a collision at a Chile airport Saturday morning (March 12). The accident occurred when Ed Force One was tethered to a tow truck at Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport just outside Santiago, to be taken for refueling prior to flying over the Andes to Cordoba, Argentina for MAIDEN's next show. On moving, the steering pin that is part of the mechanism that connects the ground tug to the aircraft seemingly fell out. As a result, the aircraft had no steering and collided with the ground tug, badly damaging the undercarriage, two of the plane's engines and injuring two ground tug operators, both of whom have been taken to hospital.
The band, which performed at Santiago's Estadio Nacional Julio Martínez Prádanos Friday night (March 11), said in a statement: "The flight engineers are on site and evaluating the damage, but their initial report is that the engines have suffered large damage and will require an extended period of maintenance and possibly two new engines.
"We are currently making contingency arrangements to get to the show in Cordoba tomorrow with band, crew and equipment intact. Fortunately the 20 tons of equipment had not been loaded onto Ed Force One at the time of the accident.
"Although this is tragic for our beautiful plane, we do not expect this to affect our concert schedule including the next two shows in Cordoba and Buenos Aires. And we hope to find a new Ed Force One to continue this adventure with us in the near future.
"To finish on a high note, however, our visit to Chile was a huge success with 58,000 fans coming to the show as totally brilliant as ever in the Stadium Nacional last night. We love you guys!"
A couple of photos of the damage can be seen below.
An investigation into the incident has been launched by Chile's Departamento Prevención de Accidentes. The Boeing 747 jumbo is named Ed Force One after the band's mascot, Eddie, who has appeared on all of their album covers, and graces the plane's tail.
Ed Force One is being piloted on the band's world tour by MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson.
IRON MAIDEN's world tour, in support of the band's latest album, "The Book Of Souls", kicked off on February 24 in Sunrise, Florida (a suburb of Fort Lauderdale).
Support on the trek is coming from THE RAVEN AGE, the band led by IRON MAIDEN bassist Steve Harris's son George Harris.
MAIDEN's sixteenth — and first-ever double — studio album, "The Book Of Souls", was released worldwide on September 4, 2015 through Parlophone Records (BMG in the U.S.A). The CD was recorded in Paris, France with producer Kevin "Caveman" Shirley in late 2014, with the finishing touches added last year.
IRON MAIDEN announced in May 2015 that touring plans to support the album wouldn't happen until this year to allow Dickinson time to fully recuperate after his successful cancer treatment. 12

DEEP PURPLE: Thirteen New Songs 'All But Finished Except For Vocals'Legendary British hard rockers DEEP PURPLE entered a Nashville, Tennesse studio on January 28 to begin work on their follow-up to 2013's "Now What?!" album. The CD is once again being helmed by Bob Ezrin, who has previously worked with KISS, PINK FLOYD, PETER GABRIEL, ALICE COOPER and KANSAS, among others.
DEEP PURPLE bassist Roger Glover writes on the band's Facebook page: "Thirteen days of pre-production and thirteen days recording in the studio. Lucky thirteen, because we have thirteen tracks all but finished except for vocals. Coincidence or what? How many will end up on he album is hard to tell yet… maybe all of them, maybe not.
"I won't even begin to describe the music — an impossible job in any case. Suffice to say I've been listening to the rough mixes and there's a smile on my face. Bob Ezrin and the team did their usual superb job.
"The next stage will be [singer Ian Gillan] and I spending a week together, honing up on the lyrics before recording vocals in Toronto in April."
Glover recently talked about PURPLE writing process, telling Ultimate Classic Rock: "We jam and jam and jam, and if we find something that we like to play or that works well or inspires us, then we'll try to knock it into some kind of arrangement. Then, once we've got that, Ian [Gillan, vocals] and I will figure out what the song's really all about, and write the lyrics and all of that stuff."
DEEP PURPLE's first new album in eight years, "Now What?!", topped charts in Germany, Norway and Austria and peaked at No. 19 in Britain.
"Now What?!" sold 4,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 115 on The Billboard 200 chart. The album was released in North America in April 2013 via earMUSIC, the Hamburg, Germany-based international rock label which is part of Edel Group.
DEEP PURPLE — which has been eligible for induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame for two decades now — will finally enter the Rock Hall as part of the class of 2016. The band's first three lineups are being inducted, including drummer Ian Paice, guitarist Ritchie Blackmore, late keyboardist Jon Lord, and various singers and bassists — Rod Evans; Ian Gillan and Roger Glover; and David Coverdale and Glenn Hughes. 28

IRON MAIDEN To Release Limited-Edition 'Empire Of The Clouds' 12" Picture Disc For Record Store DayAcknowledging both their roots (their 1979 debut "The Soundhouse Tapes" was IRON MAIDEN's first official release on vinyl) and reputation for bringing history to life, IRON MAIDEN will release their longest ever song, with a duration of over eighteen minutes, "Empire Of The Clouds", as a limited-edition 12-inch picture disc single for Record Store Day on April 16.
Taken from MAIDEN's latest studio album "The Book Of Souls", the single is housed in a uniquely artworked sleeve, featuring a replica of the actual newspaper story reporting on the fate of the R101 airship, which is the focus of the song. Written by MAIDEN vocalist Bruce Dickinson, it will be made available through Parlophone Records (BMG in the U.S.A) with the B-side featuring an in depth audio interview with Dickinson about the inspiration for the track, which has been a truly personal labor of love and is, he claims, "a very poignant story, a very human story, a story of ambition and dreams."
Supporting Record Store Day for the very first time with an IRON MAIDEN piece, director of strategic marketing at Parlophone, Paul Fletcher, explains how the band came to be involved. "After the success of 'The Book Of Souls' last year and especially with the reaction to the double vinyl format, I felt that a song like 'Empire Of The Clouds' needed to be immortalized in some way," he said. "It was never going to be a radio track/single, so after discussions with management, we went down the 'let's educate and commemorate a real tragedy that Bruce had chosen to portray in this amazing song.' As usual with MAIDEN, they turned the package into something special with unique commissioned artwork and the idea to license historic material from the Daily Mirror archives from 1930. The result is an incredible package that both vinyl collectors and MAIDEN fans will be keen to own."
IRON MAIDEN is currently on "The Book Of Souls" world tour, playing to over 1.5 million fans across 36 countries and 6 continents, traversing the planet in their brand new Boeing 747 jet Ed Force One, carrying band, crew, equipment and over 20 tons of stage production, on a 60-thousand-mile journey. 16

Report: KEITH EMERSON's Death Investigated As SuicideAccording to TMZ, the death of Keith Emerson is being investigated as a suicide.
Law enforcement sources tell the site the EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER keyboardist had a single gunshot wound to the head when his girlfriend found him in their home in Santa Monica, California.
Emerson had reportedly been suffering from a degenerative nerve disease in his right hand that meant he could only play the keyboards with eight fingers. As a result, he was struggling with depression.
Back in 2010, Emerson revealed that he had undergone surgery for diverticulitis.
In addition to Emerson, EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER included vocalist/bassist Greg Lake and drummer Carl Palmer.
Palmer said in a statement that he was "deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my good friend and brother-in-music."
EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER reunited for one last tour together in 2010. Their final gig took place in July 2010 at London's High Voltage festival.
EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER keyboardist Keith Emerson has died at the age of 71.
His passing was confirmed in a post on the band's Facebook page and official web site.
The statement reads: "We regret to announce that Keith Emerson died last night at his home in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, aged 71. We ask that the family's privacy and grief be respected."
EMERSON, LAKE & PALMER last performed together in 2010, when they staged a 40th-anniversary reunion at the High Voltage festival in London. Their most recent studio effort was 1994's "In The Hot Seat".
"I am deeply saddened to learn of the passing of my good friend and brother-in-music, Keith Emerson," Keith's longtime bandmate Carl Palmer said in a statement. "Keith was a gentle soul whose love for music and passion for his performance as a keyboard player will remain unmatched for many years to come. He was a pioneer and an innovator whose musical genius touched all of us in the worlds of rock, classical and jazz. I will always remember his warm smile, good sense of humor, compelling showmanship, and dedication to his musical craft. I am very lucky to have known him and to have made the music we did, together." 11

BUCKCHERRY Is Working On New EPBUCKCHERRY singer Josh Todd has told Australia's Rolling Stone in a new interview that the band is working on an EP to follow last year's "Rock 'N' Roll" album. "We'll probably be working on a new [full-length] album next year, but right now we're making an EP," he said. "We released the 'Fuck' EP in 2014, which was a lot of fun."
He added: "Our objective is to write three EPs and eventually have a box set. Each will have a theme, to keep them fun and interesting."
Each of the six songs on the "Fuck" EP had the F-word in the title, including "Somebody Fucked With Me", "I Don't Give A Fuck" and the first single, a cover of Icona Pop's hit "I Love It", re-imagined as "Say Fuck It".
Todd said told Yahoo! Music that "Fuck" was "not just some silly rock record," adding, "It's not about offending anybody as much as celebrating the word. There are so many ways to use the word. We wanted to capture that on an EP and not hold back or censor anything."
The digital deluxe edition release of "Rock 'N' Roll" was made available on January 29 via F-Bomb/Caroline. The new edition features the record's original track list as well as the newly released version of "The Feeling Never Dies" (featuring guest vocals from Grammy Award-winning country artist Gretchen Wilson), a brand new song titled "Getting Started" and a B-side called "Cannonball".

SEBASTIAN BACH Uploads "Piece Of Me" Australian Live VideoSebastian Bach has just uploaded the following video (filmed by Suzanne Le Bach) of his solo band rocking the Skid Row tune "Piece Of Me" in Brisbane, Australia in 2015.
Joining Bach on stage are: guitarist Brent Woods, drummer Bobby Jarzombek, and bassist Rob De Luca. Front of house sound was provided by Dave Hart, with monitors courtesy of Chris Miller.
In anticipation of his upcoming book, 18 And Life On Skid Row, iconic rocker Sebastian Bach will embark on a US Spring Tour that will incorporate an intimate acoustic set followed by a full electric live show.
"'An Evening with Sebastian Bach'. No, that doesn't mean we're going to end up in the back of a police car. It means that for selected shows on the upcoming tour, we want to do something brand-new. Let's bring the music back to its purest form. We have been touring a lot in the last few years so it's time to do something different. You're going to get two sets for the price of one. We're going to open up the show with some stripped-down tunes, re-set the stage, and then come back with the Big Guns", says Bach.
The tour kicks off on April 27th in Jacksonville, FL and wraps up in Salt Lake City on June 3rd. Tickets are on sale now, with VIP package upgrades available here.
His upcoming memoir 18 And Life On Skid Row is now set to release June 28th through Dey Street books. "Pushing the book gives us the opportunity to really finish it properly. The publishers asked me for 30 pictures. I gave them 150. There are easy ways to do memoirs, simple ways to do biographies. What separates these books is the archival content. 18 And Life On Skid Row could also be called the Skid Row Archives. I am giving you my personal collection, photos, & documents none of you have ever seen. A lot of them. I look forward to the book release and the book tour following the book release. If I am going to go on a tour of book stores, I have to really be into the book. June 28th release date gives us an extra month to pay attention to detail. In a project of this scope there are many details."
In his memoir, Bach recounts lurid tales of excess and debauchery as he toured the world with Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Mötley Crüe, Soundgarden, Pantera, Nine Inch Nails and Guns N' Roses. Filled with never before seen photos from his own personal collection, 18 And Life On Skid Rowis the story of hitting it big at a young age, and of creatively reeling from a band that broke up in its prime.
From a man who achieved his wildest dreams, only to lose his family, and then his home, this is a tale of perseverance, of wine, women and song, and of a man who has made his life on the road. 18 And Life On Skid Row is not your ordinary rock memoir, because Sebastian Bach is not your ordinary rock star.

RIVAL SONS: New Song 'Hollow Bones Pt. 1' Available For StreamingLong Beach, California's RIVAL SONS have released a brand new track from their recently announced new album, "Hollow Bones".
The first single, "Hollow Bones Pt. 1", is hitting the airwaves today and can be heard right now below. The track is also included as an instant download for everyone who pre-orders "Hollow Bones" on iTunes.
Due to be released on June 10, the fifth studio album from RIVAL SONS features nine brand new tracks of electrifying rock 'n' soul, including a breathtaking cover of "Black Coffee".
With a huge range of "Hollow Bones" products available, including limited-edition gold, silver and transparent vinyl, plus ultra-limited signed CD and vinyl editions, there's something for everyone from the casual fan to the die-hard collector.
Once again recorded with two-time Grammy winner Dave Cobb, "Hollow Bones" follows the release of RIVAL SONS' chart-hitting 2014 album "Great Western Valkyrie". Since then, the band has appeared on "Later... With Jools Holland" in the U.K. and "The Late Show With David Letterman" in the USA, performed at the iconic Glastonbury and Isle Of Wight festivals and sold out countless headlining shows.
Always a band who feel artwork is as much a part of the album experience as the music, their first outing was a collaboration with legendary artist Storm Thorgerson, known for many iconic album covers from the likes of PINK FLOYD and LED ZEPPELIN. This time they have teamed up with artist Martin Wittfooth, whose intensely allegorical paintings all suggest the future of the human condition — without showing a single person — on a piece called "Rainsong". Guitarist Scott Holiday commented: "I discovered Martin Wittfooth about halfway through making 'Hollow Bones'. I was immediately drawn into his work. I loved his imagery with animals and felt it was calm and unnerving all at the same time. I also loved the touch of whimsy and beautiful psychedelic overtones he used. First time I saw his work, I immediately felt it was right for this album.
"I won't try to overly interpret the album cover or explain in detail why I believe it works perfectly with the album… but I can safely say I think this just might be my favorite cover of ours yet."
Now supporting the legendary BLACK SABBATH on "The End" world tour, and with the upcoming release of yet another jaw-dropping record, 2016 looks set to be RIVAL SONS' best year yet.
In the words of frontman Jay Buchanan: "Each record we've made has been part of a distillation toward revealing the band's essence. This record finally is the release of the unapologetic, wild beast that has long lived within the ribs of RIVAL SONS howling to be freed." 1

WICKED MARAYA's 'Lifetime In Hell' To See Light Of Day In MayAfter an 18-year break, WICKED MARAYA is back with two new songs, a new video, and a new/old album: "Lifetime In Hell", their 1991 unreleased first recording with legendary producer Jim Morris, will finally see light of day on May 6 via Massacre.
Three years before the release of their critically acclaimed debut CD "Cycles", WICKED MARAYA recorded a nine-song effort at Morrisound Recording in Tampa, Florida. A heavy, bombastic, raw CD, "Lifetime In Hell" is WICKED MARAYA at their earliest, hungry stage... setting the pre-cursor to the "Cycles" sound, with big vocals and twin harmony guitar work.
Together with two new songs — "Suicidal Dawn" and "Fall From Grace" — WICKED MARAYA is ready to release its new music to the world, along with the video for "Suicidal Dawn".
"Suicidal Dawn" and "Fall From Grace" were recorded and produced by John Iadevaio at Soundmine Recording Studio in autumn 2014, mixed and mastered by Daniel Malsch. Having toured the U.S. and Europe, both as a headliner and as support for bands like METAL CHURCH, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, DEE SNIDER, DOKKEN, RATT, GREAT WHITE and SKYCLAD, WICKED MARAYA is looking forward to once again hitting the stage and bringing their sound to their fans! THE DEFIANTS Feat. DANGER DANGER Members: 'Waiting On A Heartbreak' Song Available For StreamingFrontiers Music Srl will release of THE DEFIANTS' self-titled debut album on April 15. THE DEFIANTS is a new band put together by Paul Laine, Bruno Ravel and Rob Marcello — three fabulous musicians, all with ties to the great hard rock band DANGER DANGER.
A song from the album, titled "Waiting On A Heartbreak", can be streamed in the YouTube clip below. Best known for being DANGER DANGER's frontman for a 12-year stint from 1992 to 2004, which included four studio albums, Paul Laine is now coming back to work with his former bandmates Bruno Ravel and Rob Marcello, who are the other two pillars of THE DEFIANTS. The guys got back together under suggestion of Frontiers' president, Serafino Perugino, who really wanted to offer the fans a chance to hear some new music from these guys. The resulting album is an extremely exciting affair which is going to please not only DANGER DANGER fans, but also all the ones who are into the classic sound from the glory days of rock in the '80s and '90s. Paul Laine says: "From the moment Bruno and I started writing together, we knew we had something special. It's been my experience that when the writing process is effortless, you've trapped lightning in a bottle... Within the first two and a half months, we had close to forty ideas up on the board. I think it surprised both of us how intuitive we were of each other's ideas.
"I'm very proud of this record, and it feels good to let loose on an album of complete stadium rockers.
"Rob Marcello I consider to be one of the biggest talents in the world of modern guitar players. I love how much he shines on this record, and from track to track, I couldn't wait to hear what he had to say musically.
"On a personal note, it feels good to hit another musical and writing milestone with this album.
"It was very hard to choose the material for this record, and it's exciting to know that there are still bullets left in the chamber that nobody has heard yet." Bruno Ravel adds: "I'm so stoked for you all to hear this record! It was so much fun to create, and that feeling will be very evident once you give it a listen. Paul and Rob poured every bit of themselves into these tracks, and their performances were just ridiculous! Add that to the aggressive killer drum pounding that only my good buddy Van Romaine could deliver, and you have what equals a bona fide rock 'n' roll roller coaster! Strap yourselves in, folks! And get ready for the ride!" THE DEFIANTS are set to appear live at the Frontiers Rock Festival in Trezzo (Milano), Italy on April 24, where the band will perform classic tracks from Paul Laine's solo career, some DANGER DANGER hits and songs off THE DEFIANTS' debut. "The Defiants" track listing:
01. Intro (For A Few Dollars More - Carillon's Theme)02. Love And Bullets03. When The Lights Go Down04. Waiting On A Heartbreak05. Runaway06. Lil' Miss Rock'N'roll07. Last Kiss08. Save Me Tonight09. Take Me Back10. We All Fall11. That's When I'll Stop Loving You12. Underneath The Stars

With Martin, Dave Krusen on drums, Adam Kury on bass and the addition of guitarists Mike Leslie and Brian Quinn, the recommitment to creating music that is "pissed and urgent" as well as bringing a new energy to the live show is at this record's core. CANDLEBOX's world tour will kick off in April, including performances at festivals such as Lollapalooza Chile, Welcome To Rockville and Carolina Rebellion.
