CRETUS Release Official Video For "Darkness Bites"

CRETUS Release Official Video For "Darkness Bites"

Louisiana masked metallers, Cretus, have released an official video for “Darkness Bites”, featured on their debut EP, Dux Mea Lux, out now via Pavement Music.

Cretus' music is hard-hitting thrash metal at its core; mathematically-precise riffs, dive-bombing guitar solos, and thundering drums pummel the listener, but their compelling melodies and bizarre pop sensibility make each song from forthcoming EP, Dux Mea Lux, subtly addictive.

Dux Mea Lux tracklisting:

“Price Of Immortality”
“Darkness Bites”
“What I Will”
“The Leader”
“Little Children”

“Price Of Immortality” censored video:

“Price Of Immortality” unrated video:

While it is unknown exactly when or where Cretus formed, they began publicly spreading their message through music in 2014, with the group rapidly gaining strong support after their first show opening for legendary metal band Down in New Orleans.

Devout followers of Cretus pack into shows wearing the group's signature black masks and cloaks, bobbing their heads in support as hypnotic lights pulse and dense fog surrounds them, becoming a raving heavy metal congregation unable and unwilling to escape the dark energy emanating from the speakers. Multi-sensory performance rituals such as sacrificial demonstrations and strange pagan rites add an even more ominous tone to the already frightening spectacle of the four masked figures destroying the stage.

SUPREMACY Featuring Former SCORPIONS, BONFIRE, JADED HEART, FRONTLINE Members Change Band Name To PHANTOM 5

SUPREMACY Featuring Former SCORPIONS, BONFIRE, JADED HEART, FRONTLINE Members Change Band Name To PHANTOM 5

The German band formerly known as Supremacy has decided to change its name to Phantom 5 in order to avoid any confusion with other bands using the former moniker.

Producer and guitarist Michael Voss says: ”There is so much traffic around when it comes to the names for another band. We first had the Supremacy name and really rigged it, but fans worldwide contacted us that there were other bands who already used the brand. So we developed a new one and finally got lucky to find: Phantom 5!”

Phantom 5 is the new band formed by some German hard rock luminaries, including former Bonfire singer Claus Lessmann, former Frontline guitarist Robby Boebel, former Scorpions bassist Francis Buchholz and former Jaded Heart drummer Axel Kruse - along with Michael Voss (Casanova).

Voss is currently putting the finishing touches to the mixes and says: “For me it sounds like we did a follow up to the famous Bonfire Fireworks album with a touch of Frontline meets Jaded Heart groove… it is a driving monster with huge walls of guitars, powerful soaking drums and fine catchy melodies… we took a trip back into the world of the eighties!!!”

The band plans to release the record in the first half of 2016. Stay tuned for more details.

CRIPPER Premiers “A Dime For The Establishment” Music Video

CRIPPER Premiers “A Dime For The Establishment” Music Video

Thrash artillerists Cripper have launched a new video for the track "A Dime For The Establishment", taken from their latest album, Hyena.

In the video, the five villains comprising the band come under fire with their hostage during a neck-breaking escape by car, in which they encounter zombies, agents, hillbillies, and gangsters. Shot at 10 different locations with various sets and actors, plus a professional camera crew, "A Dime For The Establishment" was directed by Cripper's own guitarist, Jonathan Stenger (who also handled post-production and editing).

The band comments: "These were days full of action, an exciting film set feeling... and of course, things went pear-shaped during some of those wild explosions. We're all still alive - notwithstanding the highly dangerous realization of the crazy storyboard. We had a lot of fun, which we hope the clip can convey. Bang, bang!"

Cripper is currently working on their fifth studio album, and follow-up to 2014's Hyena.

Cripper lineup:

Britta Gortz - vocals
Christian Brohenhorst - guitars
Jonathan Stenger - guitars
Gerrit Mohrmann - bass
Dennis Weber - drums

ACCEPT

ACCEPT's WOLF HOFFMANN Putting Finishing Touches On New Solo Album

ACCEPT guitarist Wolf Hoffmann is putting the finishing touches on a new classical solo album, tentatively due in early 2016. He tells Metal Shock Finland 's Alison Booth: "I'm still in the last days of mixing this album and so hopefully early next year it can come out. I'm very excited about it. I think it's going to be very cool"

He added in a separate interview with Asen Manasiev, journalist for Bulgaria's radio Z-Rock: "I want to try to get [the solo album] all mixed and ready to go before we [ACCEPT] head out on the road, so that it can be released sometime in the spring next year. I was hoping to get it out before Christmas, but it was just unrealistic. There was no chance, so it's going to be out in the spring, I think."

Wolf told Ultimate Classic Rock earlier this year that his next solo album would feature a collaboration with a Prague, Czech Republic symphony orchestra.

In 1997, Hoffmann released his first solo album, "Classical", which consisted of rock renditions of classical pieces, including "Bolero" and "Habanera".

Speaking to Guitar World magazine in 2013, Hoffmann stated about the influence of classical music in his guitar playing: "The whole thing started with 'Metal Heart', in 1985, where I used some classical elements in the solos and the songwriting. I've been a fan ever since, and it's become somewhat of a trademark for me. I think it has to do, at least a little bit, with the fact that we're from Europe. I think all Europeans are more into classical music and maybe more influenced by it, too."

The latest ACCEPT album, "Blind Rage", was released in August 2014 via Nuclear Blast. Like its two predecessors, 2010's "Blood Of The Nations" and 2012's "Stalingrad", the new effort was helmed by British producer Andy Sneap, who has previously worked with MEGADETH, EXODUS, TESTAMENT, ARCH ENEMY and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. The cover artwork was created by Daniel Goldsworthy.

"Blind Rage" sold around 6,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

TWISTED SISTER - New Promo Clip Posted For We Are Twisted Fucking Sister Film

TWISTED SISTER - New Promo Clip Posted For We Are Twisted Fucking Sister Film

Andrew Horn recently announced the acquisition of his latest documentary film, We Are Twisted Fucking Sister by Music Box Films in the US. A new promo clip for the film can be seen below:

Some considered Twisted Sister a joke, but others called them the greatest bar band in the world. While the microcosm of punk/new wave was being born in Manhattan, Twisted Sister was battling their way to the top of a working class, suburban, cover-band bar scene, that surrounded NYC in a 100 mile radius, yet existed in a parallel universe. Twisted were the Grand Funk of glam and the NY Dolls of metal, channeling youthful fury, and a wicked sense of humor, into a sort of blue collar performance art in a vast scene that boasted monster clubs, attracting audiences of up to 2-5000 a night. It was both a great living and a dead end, offering no future outside the suburban enclave.

If you think you know them from their hit songs, the MTV videos and massive stadium shows, this is the untold story of how they became that band - full of strange, and often hilarious, twists and turns. It's about Rock 'n Roll and the business of Rock 'n Roll. It's about perseverance and things blowing up in your face. It's about finding yourself, finding your audience and doing literally anything, however wild, to connect with them. A mesmerizing, and wickedly funny story of a 10 year odyssey to overnight success. Dress like women, talk like men, play like motherfuckers!

Andrew Horn is a filmmaker, journalist and researcher for documentary films. East Side Story, which he wrote and produced was included in the year’s Ten Best List in Time Magazine while his last film, The Nomi Song won the Teddy Award at the Berlinale and was named in the year’s Ten Best of VH1. His films have shown worldwide and appear in the collections of MoMa, the BFI, Deutsche Kinemathek, Cinematheque Français, etc.

ALICE COOPER: Video Footage Of Stuttgart Concert

ALICE COOPER: Video Footage Of Stuttgart Concert

Fan-filmed video footage of ALICE COOPER's November 8 concert at Hanns-Martin-Schleyer-Halle in Stuttgart, Germany can be seen below.

Alice's powerhouse band is comprised of drummer Glen Sobel, bassist Chuck Garric, and guitarists Nita Strauss, Tommy Henriksen and Ryan Roxie.

Cooper has previously said that he prefers playing small venues over large arenas.

"I always prefer to play theatres because it makes the theatrics of our show so much more intense," he said.

Asked what there is left to do after five decades of playing rock and roll, Alice told The Herald: "You wanna write that song that wins the Academy Award.

"I'd love to do some sort of a Broadway show, but on my terms. I don't want a watered-down show. If it was gonna be a real rock Broadway show, you'd have to bring in a real rock band and make that the basis.

"I've had scripts sent to me about my life and I keep telling them it's already written and it's called 'Welcome To My Nightmare'.

"The music and words are ready, we just need to find somebody that want to actually produce it."

Video: CARCASS

Video: CARCASS's BILL STEER Rejoins NAPALM DEATH On Stage In Stockholm

CARCASS guitarist Bill Steer rejoined his former bandmates in NAPALM DEATH for the first time since 1988 on November 9 at Fryshuset in Stockholm, Sweden to perform the classic NAPALM DEATH song "Deceiver". Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below.

"Deceiver" originally appeared on the B-side of NAPALM DEATH's debut album, "Scum", which was released in July 1987 through Earache Records.

Asked how he came to join NAPALM DEATH, Steer told Decibel magazine: "I'd been playing with this punk/metal band or something — it was like a really weak version of DISCHARGE. One day [a friend] showed up and said, 'You're not playing that tour; some band called NAPALM DEATH's got it.' And I [was] thinking, 'I wonder who they are?' A bit later, a friend of mine who lived somewhere in the midlands got to know them and then he sent me what rurned out to be Side A of 'Scum'. And that point, I just thought it was fantastic. And it was really good when I saw it. To me, it was really obviously something that stood out in that scene. Mostly because there was nobody like Mick [Harris, drums] in that world."

Added former NAPALM DEATH drummer Mick Harris: "Come February of '87, I ended up asking Bill Steer [to join], who at that time had just started university and had got CARCASS together. I went down to Liverpool twice to rehearse at his house. The CARCASS drum kit was there. He was only 16 and his parents didn't want him coming up to Birmingham. So I went down and he picked the songs up in no time. I said, 'I'm gonna have to get you to Birmingham, Bill, because obviously we're gonna have to record this B-side.'"

CARCASS is currently taking part in the "Deathcrusher 2015" European tour with NAPALM DEATH, VOIVOD and OBITUARY.

VIVIAN CAMPBELL

VIVIAN CAMPBELL's LAST IN LINE Parts Ways With Keyboardist CLAUDE SCHNELL; First Song Due Next Week

"Devil In Me", the first song from LAST IN LINE — the band featuring DEF LEPPARD guitarist Vivian Campbell alongside fellow founding DIO members Vinny Appice and Jimmy Bain, plus singer Andrew Freeman, who has previously fronted HURRICANE and LYNCH MOB — will make its online debut on Tuesday, November 17. The track is taken from LAST IN LINE's debut album, "Heavy Crown", which will be released on February 19, 2016 via Frontiers Music Srl. The CD was recorded at a Southern California studio with producer Jeff Pilson, a veteran bassist who has played with DIO, FOREIGNER, DOKKEN and T&N, among others.

LAST IN LINE recently filmed music videos for the songs "Devil In Me" and "Starmaker" with director Jamie Brown of Smoking Gun, Inc. and co-producer Thomas McNeely.

In other news, LAST IN LINE has parted ways with keyboardist Claude Schnell. Campbell explained in a statement: "When we started this project a few years ago, the initial idea was to reunite the original DIO band to play the songs we wrote and recorded with Ronnie in the early 1980s. Joined by Andrew Freeman on vocals and original DIO keyboard player Claude Schnell, we played a handful of shows from southern California to the U.K to Japan. It was a limited ambition, but one that brought us great joy in reconnecting to this great music, to each other, and to our collective history.

"Our ambition at that time didn't extend to writing and recording any new music, but when we were offered the opportunity to do so by the Frontiers record label, we took that step forward. At that time, it was decided that we enter the studio to write this new album in the very same spirit as we did the 'Holy Diver' record: In autumn of 1982 Ronnie, Vinny, Jimmy and I went into Sound City studios to kick around ideas and riffs, and about six weeks later we started laying down the tracks for what was to become the 'Holy Diver' album. It was after 'Holy Diver' was written and recorded that we brought in Claude to embellish certain songs in a way that the guitar just couldn't do. From that time forward, Claude became an essential part of the band's live shows.

"In retracing our footsteps, we again started to write this new album as a four-piece band — thus keeping the emphasis on guitar-driven songs. In the course of doing so, we have decided to continue on that path and remain a four-piece band.

"We wish Claude every success and he remains a very close friend and confidant to all concerned."

Asked if the LAST IN LINE material sounds like the classic DIO albums, Vivian told Eddie Trunk in a recent interview: "The majority of it… Well, actually, I wouldn't say the majority of it… I would say a good 50 percent of the songs would sound right at home on those first three DIO albums, and the others have a bit more of a modern edge to them. I mean, when you get Vinny and Jimmy and I playing, it sounds like the early DIO records, 'cause that's what it is. Obviously, Andy is a very, very different singer, he's got a very different instrument, and he writes lyrics very differently. I'm very, very impressed with where Andy has gone lyrically on the record, too; that's another thing. So it's great. It is so epic sounding. We've got some amazing songs on this, and I'm hyper excited about it, as you can probably tell."

THE ROAD VIKINGS Sign With Sliptrick Records

THE ROAD VIKINGS Sign With Sliptrick Records

San Francisco-based hard rock/metal band, The Road Vikings, have inked a deal with Sliptrick Records.

Dan Bryant, San Francisco, CA vocalist, shredmaster, and songwriter is the leader of The Road Vikings and a true journeyman in the world of metal. Dan’s musical debut, in his typical trial-by-fire fashion, was as last-minute replacement vocalist for Jason Becker (David Lee Roth Band) and Marty Friedman’s (Megadeth) renowned band Cacophony, in front of hundreds of rabid, unforgiving metal fans at the legendary metal club The Stone in San Francisco. With minimal knowledge of the lyrics and no time to prepare, Dan tapped his improvisational skills and adapted on the fly, salvaging the gig from the flames and wowing the crowd.

But that initial gig was only one battle in a very long war.

Dan Bryant soon was making the rounds as a vocalist in the L.A. demo recording grind, appearing as a member of thrash metal pioneers, Hexx, on the Shrapnel Records release Under the Spell. Yet Dan could not find satisfaction as a hired gun, and just when he grew weary of the fight, Japanese shred sensation and old friend, Hideaki Nakama called to snatch him up for the band Hell ’N’ Back. They played for over 10,000 fans at the legendary Budokan Hall in Tokyo and recorded some quality metal (Supremacy, Sacred Wind on Danger Crue Records). But Dan’s desire to develop his own band led him back home to the East Bay in order to realize his vision of a biker metal band blasting down a Northern California road on a ’57 Iron Head chopper. Now it was time to find the soldiers.

The band went through a dozen drummers before snatching up the hard-hitting drum prodigy Dave Dab by pure luck. Bass player extraordinaire Lisa Tonra soon joined the fold, lending her considerable chops to The Road Vikings. Dave’s phenomenal time-keeping skills and Lisa’s bulletproof bass licks provide the solid foundations for their leader, and multi – helmeted song-crafter and fretburner. Fleshing out The Road Vikings’ lineup is the legendary Rhoads-esque Brian Rountree on Flying V.

But there’s more: namely, an amazing album that must not and WILL not be ignored. This full-length sophomore release by The Road Vikings, soon to be released on Sliptrick Records/Sony, is produced and expertly mixed by noted knob-twirler Tim Narducci (Spiralarms, Systematic, Manmade God), and is the end result of this mad journey. A world-class metal recording, the CD boasts killer sound, unshakeable musicianship, mind-warping guitar solos and engaging songwriting. Ten songs of brotherhood, war, conquest, the fight for freedom, and the real-life hazards of being a modern-day pirate, authored by someone who has lived it.

BLOOD RED SAINTS Premier “Best Of Me” Lyric Video

BLOOD RED SAINTS Premier “Best Of Me” Lyric Video

British AOR band Blood Red Saints will release their debut album, Speedway, on December 4th in Europe and North America. A new lyric video for the track “Best Of Me” can be found below.

Blood Red Saints is a new band formed in late 2014 by singer Pete Godfrey and bassist Rob Naylor. Pete made his recording debut on the October 2014 In Faith album, but hungry to be in a 'band' rather than a project, Pete formed Blood Red Saints with Rob from the band Angels Or Kings and quickly got to work writing their debut album.

“I went in to the In Faith knowing it was a project,” says Pete Godfrey. “We were offered shows but we couldn't find any common ground to move forward. That was the moment where I decided I wanted to be in a 'real band', one that goes out and plays live and has that 'us against the world' mentality. Without doubt, we are going to play live. We have a launch show December the 4th in Bolton, UK then we are playing the JSY/ARFM charity show in Derby at the end of January and also HRH AOR in March - working on more shows right now!”

Blood Red Saints lineup was completed by another former In Faith member, Pete Newdeck (also from Eden’s Curse and currently the vocalist for Tainted Nation) on drums and Lee Revill on guitar (ex-Gary Hughes). “Pete and I quickly became good friends,” says Pete. “It was a simple choice on my part to want him involved. Rob Naylor I knew from the 1990's, but we became friends last year, we just gelled as far as wanting the same things musically, again. Lee Revill was talked about by everyone on the local scene, his reputation was that of a phenomenal guitar player who hadn't made the jump from local bands. He is our secret weapon, unbelievably talented and not precious or egotistical at all, a genuine nice guy also!”

The search for a name ended with the chance discovery of a semi legendary Speedway team, “The Blood Red Saints”. BRS were formed in the late 1920s in Brooklyn, New York. Their leader and icon, 'Freddie Rendetti' became synonymous with the team. Freddie was a fiery colorful character who ultimately lived the fast life a little too fast.

No history of the Blood Red Saints can be complete without the inclusion of James Martin of Vega. James was instrumental in getting the band signed and – together with his twin brother Tom, he also co-wrote two songs on the album. Harry Hess from Harem Scarem took care of the mastering of the album.

The band’s debut album is an impressive slice of classic British AOR, following in the traditions of early Dare, FM and Newman, though according to Pete, “if you were to take elements of Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, Winger, FM, mix them all together, I think that is pretty much where we are. Our intention was to have great songs and next we want to take them out live and put on a great show!”

Speedway tracklisting:

“Kickin' Up Dust”
“Mercy”
“Best Of Me”
“Dangerous”
“Love Set Me Up Again”
“Better Days”
“The Best Thing”
“Unbreakable”
“Wrapped Up In These Arms”
“Cgrnr”
“Feels A Lot Like Love”
“Faith”

Report: Reunion Tour Of Classic GUNS N

Report: Reunion Tour Of Classic GUNS N' ROSES Lineup 'Close To Being Revealed'

According to Dish Nation, a reunion tour of the classic lineup of GUNS N' ROSES is "close to being revealed." The band will supposedly headline several major festivals in Europe and U.S. before embarking on a worldwide headlining tour to mark GN'R's 30th anniversary.

Former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash recently said that he and GUNS lead singer Axl Rose had repaired their estranged relationship after nearly 20 years, immediately leading to a storm of speculation about a possible reunion of the classic GUNS lineup.

A "music insider" told Dish Nation: "Slash and Axl have verbally agreed to get things together again and reform the original band. The live shows is where they can show the world what they had and also make the greatest earnings.

"Promoters are quietly working away to land opportunities. Details of the reunion are expected to leak out in the next few days. Everyone is expecting huge demand for tickets, but the boys are very humble and are not sure what to expect."

According to other reports, the band was already approached about playing shows in Australia, Portugal and Sweden.

In other news, a longtime friend of ex-GUNS N' ROSES bassist Duff McKagan's wife Susan Holmes-McKagan, Brandi Glanville, told a paparazzi reporter during a night out: "GUNS N' ROSES is coming back, motherfuckers!"

Rose is the only original member of GUNS N' ROSES still in the current lineup, which has toured intermittently since 2006 and played its second Las Vegas residency last year.

The closest anyone came to a GUNS reunion in recent memory was when the band was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame in 2012. Three original members of the band, including Slash, Duff McKagan and drummer Steven Adler, showed up, but Axl and guitarist Izzy Stradlin were no-shows.

At the time Slash said in several interviews that the Hall Of Fame ceremony gave him a sense of "closure."

GUNS N' ROSES recently parted ways with guitarists DJ Ashba and Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal.

DEF LEPPARD's New Album Cracks U.S. Top 10

DEF LEPPARD's new, self-titled album entered The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 10 with first-week sales of just over 30,000 units — nearly all from pure album sales.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

"Def Leppard" was made available through earMUSIC worldwide (excluding North America, Japan) in the following formats: CD, 2LP gatefold, digital download and on all streaming services. The CD was written and recorded in three separate sessions over the course of the past year and a half.

"Def Leppard" track listing:

01. Let's Go (5:01)02. Dangerous (3:26)03. Man Enough (3:54)04. We Belong (5:06)05. Invincible (3:46)06. Sea Of Love (4:04)07. Energized (3:23)08. All Time High (4:19)09. Battle Of My Own (2:42)10. Broke 'N' Brokenhearted (3:17)11. Forever Young (2:21)12. Last Dance (3:09)13. Wings Of An Angel (4:23)14. Blind Faith (5:33)

Total running time: 54:24

The "Let's Go" video can be seen below. DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott told RollingStone.com about the track: "It's a call to arms, you know? Rick Savage [bass] wrote 80 percent of the song. I wrote the verses, he wrote all the music and the choruses. He came in with it, and we knew it was a classic DEF LEPPARD song. It's that three-minute pop-rock stuff with big chunky guitars and a big chorus. And it has that swaggering, mid-tempo rhythm, like 'Sugar', and 'Rock Of Ages'. The idea was, we wanted something familiar. I mean, when AC/DC comes back after years away, you're not going to get 'Bohemian Rhapsody' from 'em, you know? And you don't want it, either — you want 'Back In Black', or something like it. For us, this is what we do. And it's something we enjoy doing."

Elliott told North Dakota's Grand Forks Herald that the band's new album is a self-titled affair "because that's what it sounds like. It doesn't sound like any one specific era of DEF LEPPARD. It's got everything. You'll listen and you go, 'Oh, that sounds like DEF LEPPARD,' or you'll go, 'That is LEPPARD, but it sounds a bit like LED ZEPPELIN or QUEEN but you can hear the AC/DC or the CROSBY, STILLS & NASH coming through.' We have not shied away from anything that's influenced us in our growing up periods of our life. Just because we've made the kind of music we've made doesn't mean to say we don't like all of this other stuff."

The album is the band's first studio effort since "Songs From the Sparkle Lounge" in 2008.

EYE OF SOLITUDE Release Charity Single "Lugubrious Valedictory"

EYE OF SOLITUDE Release Charity Single "Lugubrious Valedictory"

Kaotoxin Records has announced that the sales from "Lugubrious Valedictory," the brand new digital single from funeral doom act Eye Of Solitude, will be donated to support victims of last month's fire at Bucharest's Colectiv Club.

"Lugubrious Valedictory" is now available at this location.

During the night of October 30th, 32 people were killed and 179 wounded at a metal gig at Colectiv Club in Bucharest, Romania. The fire, the worst such incident in Romania in the last 20 years, occurred during a free metal concert when the band's pyrotechnics comprising of sparkler firework candles ignited the club's flammable polyurethane acoustic foam, and the fire expanded very quickly. Most of the victims were poisoned with toxins released from the burning foam.

It's no secret that both Kaotoxin and Eye Of Solitude have links with Romania. Kaotoxin staff member, DJ and host of KaosCast Radu C. was born in Romania. Eye Of Solitude's mainman, Daniel N., was born in Romania too, and has strong connections with the Romanian scene having spent years in the country, played in many Romanian bands and still playing Romanian gigs as often as possible.

Right after the tragedy, Daniel N. decided Eye Of Solitude would release a digital single to raise funds for the families of the ones who sadly perished in this tragic event. Here's a message from Daniel N. :

"This goes out to every Metalhead around: we in Eye Of Solitude would like to show our support and solidarity to the victims in the Colectiv Club fire and their families. Amongst them there were old friends, people who have fought to rescue those trapped inside that burning inferno ; heroes who now have left behind devastated families, wives, husbands, sons and daughters.

This isn't media bullshit; this is a wake up and a call to solidarity. This is a moment when everyone should turn their heads around and try to imagine the living Hell these heroes went through to save others. We would like to appeal to all of you guys and help us help the families in those in need right now.

With this charity release we hope to collect as much as possible from you guys and send the money directly to the families of those who perished Friday October 30th, 2015 night. Please remember, brothers and sisters, we are all in the same community, let's all please be united and supportive. Please remember these people were loving wives, husbands, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters; dear friends... Let's please do something!

Thank you."

All of the proceeds raised from digital sales of the "Lugubrious Valedictory" single, which features a previously unreleased 13+ minute song specially composed and recorded for this charity release, will go directly to Eye Of Solitude who will make sure fans' support reaches the ones in need directly.

NERVECELL To Enter The Studio Next Month

NERVECELL To Enter The Studio Next Month

Dubai based death/thrash metal veterans, Nervecell, are set to enter the studio in early December to begin recording their new album for a 2016 release via Unique Leader Records.

Comments the band: "We have been working on new material for quite some time now and already have a few songs arranged and finalized with a lot more ideas still floating around at this stage. With all the extensive touring schedules and experiences we've had during the last four years, it's only become more certain that the way forward for us musically is to dwell more into the extreme direction, fueled together with that Middle Eastern rage in our music and maintaining the classic Nervecell death/thrash stance. So rest assured, no one will be disappointed!"

Nervecell's latest album, Psychogenocide, reaped many awards, including the "All Time Best Selling Metal Band" in the Middle East and North Africa region. The band received a plaque of recognition from Virgin Megastores (MENA) in January of 2012 certifying this huge accomplishment. Psychogenocide was also cited as one of the "Top 10 Death Metal Albums Of 2011" by media outlets globally.

Nervecell's Psychogenocide was released in April 2011 via Lifeforce Records. Produced and engineered by guitarist Rami H. Mustafa at Spellbind Studio in Dubai, UAE with drums engineered by Joe Haley at Red Planet Studios in Hobart, Australia, then mixed and mastered by Wojtek and Slawek Wieslawscy at Hertz Studios (Behemoth, Vader, Decapitated) in Bialystok, Poland, Psychogenocide boasts Psycroptic's David Haley on session drums as well a guest vocal appearance from Nile's Karl Sanders on "Shunq (To The Despaired...King Of Darkness)."

The music videos for "Amok Doctrine" and "Shunq (To The Despaired...King Of Darkness)" can be viewed below. Further info to be unveiled in the coming months.

CLOUDSCAPE Announce New Album Voice Of Reason

CLOUDSCAPE Announce New Album Voice Of Reason

On January 8, 2016 the fifth studio album by Cloudscape entitled Voice Of Reason will be released worldwide. The band describes the album to be another step forward but, also flirting with their early albums musically. The songs are a nice blend between straight forward, hard-hitting metal songs to more progressive and majestic tracks. Voice Of Reason was mixed and produced by Anders “Theo” Theander at RoastingHouse Studios. The artwork was once again created by Mattias Norén.

Cloudscape was formed in 2001 and they released their self-titled debut album in 2005. Over the years Cloudscape have played live at many well respected metal festivals all over Europe and built a great reputation of being an impressive live act. In early 2014 Cloudscape played a 3.5 weeks long European tour, visiting 17 cities which turned out to become a great, well-earned success for the Swedish group.

The songwriting for the fifth album entitled Voice Of Reason started in 2013. This time the band wanted to create songs that flirts a bit with their earlier albums but, at the same time entering new territories musically within the melodic metal genre. For the first time in the bands discography the band have a title track…Voice Of Reason. It's a song in the more progressive vein with lots of dynamic, atmospheric moments mixed with crunchy and heavy parts…a song that resembles what Cloudscape have been and is about musically. Voice Of Reason was mixed and mastered at the RoastingHouse Studio One by producer & engineer Anders “Theo” Theander. Voice Of Reason was released in Europe on January 8, 2016 via Swedish metal label Dead End Exit Records (a division of RoastingHouse Music).

GOODBYE TO GRAVITY Bassist Dies; Death Toll From Bucharest Nightclub Fire Now At 51

GOODBYE TO GRAVITY Bassist Dies; Death Toll From Bucharest Nightclub Fire Now At 51

GOODBYE TO GRAVITY bassist Alex Pascu died earlier today (Wednesday, November 11) after he was transported to Paris, France by plane, increasing the death toll of the October 30 Bucharest nightclub fire to 51.

GOODBYE TO GRAVITY guitarists Vlad Telea and Mihai Alexandru were among the 26 people who were killed the day of the fire, while singer Andrei Galut — the only surviving member of GOODBYE TO GRAVITY — was hospitalized with burns and injuries from smoke inhalation. Galut has already been transferred to a treatment center in the Netherlands.

GOODBYE TO GRAVITY drummer Bogdan Lavinius died on Sunday, November 8 while he was being transported to a hospital in Zurich, Switzerland by plane.

Lavinius suffered suffered a cardiac arrest during the flight to Switzerland, and the medical staff performed resuscitation manoeuvres on him for 70 minutes.

At the time of the drummer's death, the plane transporting him was on its way back to Romania because his condition had worsened.

76 people injured in the fire are still being treated in various Bucharest-area hospitals, with 24 in critical and serious condition.

The fire reportedly started after GOODBYE TO GRAVITY's pyrotechnical show went awry, causing the ceiling and a pillar to catch alight and producing heavy smoke.

Media reported that clubgoers initially thought the flames were part of the show and did not immediately react.

The concert was supposed to be a record-release party for GOODBYE TO GRAVITY's new album, "Mantras Of War".

The Station nightclub fire in that killed 100 people in West Warwick, Rhode Island, in 2003 during a GREAT WHITE concert was also blamed on pyrotechnics igniting foam used for soundproofing.

GOODBYE TO GRAVITY started as an unexpected mixture of former members from the heavy metal band THUNDERSTORM (which in their 10-plus years of activity opened for such heavyweights such as JUDAS PRIEST, MANOWAR, HELLOWEEN, RAGE and EVERGREY) and the winner of the 2008 national TV show "Megastar" (Romanian "American Idol" equivalent).

New WHITE ZOMBIE Vinyl Box Set Due In 2016

New WHITE ZOMBIE Vinyl Box Set Due In 2016

Former WHITE ZOMBIE bassist Sean Yseult has told the Artisan News that a new WHITE ZOMBIE vinyl box set is currently being assembled for a 2016 release. She said (hear audio below): "J. [Yuenger, former WHITE ZOMBIE guitarist] and I —and, actually, Rob [Zombie, former WHITE ZOMBIE frontman] got in on it too — we've been working on a box set that's gonna be with Numero Group. It's coming out, I believe, this spring or summer. We've been working on it for over a year."

Regarding what fans can expect to see in the upcoming box set, Sean said: "There's, I think, fifty pages of liner notes. They've been interviewing us all for months and months. J. and I sent them all of our WHITE ZOMBIE ephemera — from t-shirts to old punk-rock flyers to everything — and they did a beautiful job on the booklet. It's gonna be a box set — all vinyl, all the early records that we started in 1985. And Rob and I had our own label. So all these things coming back out on vinyl. And some of the extra tracks that I didn't even remember. When we were in the studio, usually we used everything we recorded, but some of the things we had a couple of extra songs here and there. So there's gonna be a few surprises. I was surprised. And I was actually surprised how good these records sound, to be honest. That's a different-sounding band, 'cause we started off kind of punk and we went through different guitarists every three months. So it changed the sound, but you can really see the path of the band evolving."

Rob Zombie told England's RockAAA in a 2011 interview that WHITE ZOMBIE will never reunite. Zombie explained, "I don't see the point. I think as with most things people have a memory of something like, 'I saw them when I was 14 years old and it was the greatest thing ever,' but if they saw us now they'd probably go, 'I wish I hadn't seen that reunion, it was awful.' The singer added, "It is better to leave it alone and I haven't talked to anyone from the band except [drummer] John Tempesta in about 15 years."

WHITE ZOMBIE broke up in 1997 and Rob Zombie went on to launch a successful solo career in 1998. He told The Pulse Of Radio that nowadays a lot of his audience isn't even familiar with the old WHITE ZOMBIE songs. "The crowds are really, really young and I've been noticing that with the set list too, because, you know, as the time has gone on, we've really worked the WHITE ZOMBIE material more out of the set, because we've been finding that it's not working like it used to," he said. "It seems like that those songs just seem now old to people and it's very strange."

The history of WHITE ZOMBIE came up when Rob Zombie was asked to comment on the publication of "I'm In The Band", a memoir from Yseult, who is also Rob's former girlfriend.

In the book, Yseult claimed that the departure of drummer Ivan DePrume led to the eventual disintegration of the group.

Zombie said, "I have not seen it [the book] so I can't comment. I can barely remember those days, so I'm glad somebody can."

He added, "Everybody likes to make up stories which aren't true. I don't think that's fair. Ivan left the band, John Tempesta came in and the band sounded better than ever, we kept playing and made bigger records and did more tours so I don't see how that had anything to do with it."

In the aforementioned Artisan News interview, Sean confirmed that Rob "hasn't spoken to any of [the other former members of WHITE ZOMBIE] since the band broke up."

Yuenger admitted to Crawdaddy! back in 2010 that he still harbored some resentment over WHITE ZOMBIE's demise. He said: "I would have liked to make another record, but it wasn't in the cards. On Rob's solo albums, you can see what he wanted to do, where he wanted to go. I always wanted to be in a rock 'n' roll band, where the primary instruments are guitar, bass, and drums, you know? We were living in New York City for all those years, hearing all the rap and techno coming out — my favorite bands back then were SLAYER and PUBLIC ENEMY. I was really all about sampling, and we put out 'La Sexorcisto' with all those samples, and it blew people away. We were like, the first rock band to do that. And it was great, I loved it. But as time went on, the sampling and techno stuff started to dominate everything, and I really hated it. Now you can hear how little humanity is in Rob's stuff."

WHITE ZOMBIE's 4-CD/1-DVD box set "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie" was released in November 2008 via Geffen/UMe. The CDs brought together for the first time all 64 original studio recordings released by the band led by Rob Zombie during its 1985-1996 career. The DVD offered nine music videos, 10 live performances, and some hidden gems.

Yuenger told Crawdaddy! about "Let Sleeping Corpses Lie": "They sent me and Sean mockups, like, two days before the release date. There was such little thought put into it. None of the photos were credited. There were no liner notes, which are essential for something like that. I mean, the band had such an interesting story, how could you not have liner notes? I hear about it all the time from fans. They're happy that the super rare early records are on there, that's cool for them to hear, but the packaging sucks. Sean's got all kinds cool shit — photos and flyers and stuff that they could have put in there."

IRON MAIDEN Frontman BRUCE DICKINSON To Release Memoirs In Fall 2017 - “It Was Flattering To Be Approached To Write A Book About My Experiences”

IRON MAIDEN Frontman BRUCE DICKINSON To Release Memoirs In Fall 2017 - “It Was Flattering To Be Approached To Write A Book About My Experiences”

HarperNonFiction and Dey Street have just announced that they will publish Iron Maiden frontman Bruce Dickinson’s memoirs in fall 2017. His book will be a rock memoir like none other, taking in his thirty years with Maiden, his solo career, the weird and wonderful places and situations he’s found himself in, and his recent battle with cancer.

Publishing Director Jack Fogg negotiated World rights with Adrian Sington at Kruger Cowne, Dave Daniel at Celebrity Speakers and the band’s management, Phantom Music Management, and will publish in conjunction with Denise Oswald, Senior Editor at Dey Street in HarperCollins US.

Bruce says: “It was flattering to be approached to write a book about my experiences and it seems an appropriate time to do this as I will have plenty of time on tour next year to work on a book. I am sure flying the 747 out round the World on tour will add to the tale with some unusual scenarios!”

Bruce Dickinson is a true polymath. In addition to being one of this country’s most storied and well-respected lead singers, Bruce is a qualified airline pilot, an aviation entrepreneur and motivational speaker and has been a world-class fencer, a published novelist, movie script writer and a radio broadcaster.

Bruce is currently preparing for a massive World Tour with Iron Maiden in 2016 following the recent release of their new double studio album, The Book Of Souls , which debuted at #1 in over 40 countries. He is also using his simulator at Cardiff Aviation to learn to pilot the massive Boeing 747, Ed Force One, which will carry the band, crew and equipment over 55,000 miles round the world for concerts in 35 countries.

Jack Fogg says: "There’s no one like Bruce. Which other rock musician can fly a 747, or fence at an international level? He’s a total one-off; engaging, funny, warm, self-deprecating – a British eccentric in its very best form. His book will be outstanding and I am so delighted we get to publish it and work with him.’"

Denise Oswald says: "Bruce Dickinson might quite literally be the world's most interesting man. He's a true Renaissance man, and being one of the greatest rock singers of all time is merely the beginning. His memoir, like his voice, is sure to set a new gold standard and we're thrilled to be working with him on it.’"

HarperNonFiction and Dey Street will publish Dickinson’s memoirs in hardback, ebook and audio with a paperback to follow in 2018.

Anette Ekström MD HarperCollins Nordic: “We are so very pleased to be the publishing house for this exciting book! The Nordic countries have a steady fan base for heavy metal, and Iron Maiden in particular. Our aim is to publish the memoir in all four Nordic languages, as close to the English release as possible as we understand the fans will be anxious for it.”

Ex-RAINBOW Singer GRAHAM BONNET:

Ex-RAINBOW Singer GRAHAM BONNET: 'No One Is Happier Than I About RITCHIE BLACKMORE's Return To Rock'

Former RAINBOW singer Graham Bonnet says that "no one is happier" than he is about Ritchie Blackmore's "return to rock."

Blackmore will perform RAINBOW and DEEP PURPLE material at what will probably be four shows next year in Europe. The U.K. concert will take place on Saturday, June 25 at the Genting Arena in Birmingham. The performance will be Blackmore's first U.K. rock show in over 20 years. The two concerts in Germany will take place at the Monsters Of Rock festival on Friday, June 17, 2016 at Freilichtbühne in Loreley and on June 18, 2016 at Festplatz am Viadukt in Bietigheim-Bissingen.

Blackmore will be joined by LORDS OF BLACK singer Ronnie Romero, STRATOVARIUS keyboardist Jens Johansson, BLACKMORE'S NIGHT drummer David Keith and bassist Bob Nouveau (a.k.a. Robert "Bob" Curiano, ex-BLACKMORE'S NIGHT).

In a new note posted on his Facebook page, Graham wrote: "I've decided to make a public statement in reference to Ritchie Blackmore's return to rock so that nothing I say can be taken out of context.

"I read a piece a few days ago that twisted my words a bit and I want to be clear….. no one is happier than I about Ritchie's return to rock. I'm excited to see the band he has chosen as he has introduced so many amazing musicians to the world and I am sure that this will be no different.

"To this day, I thank Ritchie for giving me a career in an area of music that I might otherwise have missed.

"To be clear, I would be thrilled to play with Ritchie again but in all honesty, if there were ever to be a RAINBOW reunion, the vocalist position would belong to Ronnie James Dio. Unfortunately, Ronnie left us all too soon and that is no longer possible.

"I share in Ritchie's excitement introducing a new band as I also have a new project with a great group of musicians (Conrad, Beth-Ami and Mark) that share in my vision for new music as well as my past catalog that includes RAINBOW, MSG, ALCATRAZ and my solo material. We have tours in the U.K., Australia/New Zealand and other points in Europe from January through August of 2016. In addition, my band will be releasing an album of new material as well as a bonus disk of re-recordings at the beginning of the year. I hope each and everyone of you can make it to one of our shows. I look forward to seeing all of my friends! I promise to keep it in my pants!"

In 1979, Bonnet auditioned for the frontman position in RAINBOW. With his James Dean image, the choice of Bonnet to replace Ronnie James Dio was subject to some questions. However, once the band heard Bonnet sing, they knew they had their man. With Bonnet at the mic, they recorded the "Down To Earth" LP, which became one of RAINBOW's most successful releases.

Graham moved on from RAINBOW in the early '80s to work on his solo career. He also played with MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP, recorded several albums with ALCATRAZZ and had a short stint with IMPELLITTERI.

MAX CAVALERA Ordered To Pay $50,000 In Damages To Former Sister-In-Law Over Autobiography Claims

MAX CAVALERA Ordered To Pay $50,000 In Damages To Former Sister-In-Law Over Autobiography Claims

Soulfly’s Max Cavalera (ex-Sepultura) has been ordered to pay $50,000 in damages to former sister-in-law, Monika Bass Cavalera. Monika, who managed Sepultura after Max left the band, filed a lawsuit against the musician over claims in his autobiography, My Bloody Roots, in which he calls her a “bitch".

Payment is set at $ 50,000 by way of moral damages, plus 15% of the amount for legal costs. Monika initially requested an indemnity of $1 million. Both parties have 15 days to appeal the decision of the 25th Civil Court of Sao Paulo.

Monika, however, not yet decided whether to ask the court to change the amount. "The pain and suffering is not measurable. There is no way to quantify the pain and suffering. Therefore we suggest the initial value," says lawyer Mark Grevy. According to him, the first attempt at conciliation was suggested removing the excerpt from the book, but there was no agreement.

Read more at this location.

The latest episode of Radioactive Metal is now available, featuring an interview with Max Cavalera. Max discusses Soulfly's new Archangel album, back catalogue, some favourite current upcoming artists, and more.

Says Radioactive Metal: “We’re on a roll! We can officially refer to the last month as Legend’s Month around here. We can scratch another one off the ol’ bucket list. Our interest in Max Cavalera goes back for decades now, when the unknown Sepultura released their debut album, Morbid Visions. Since then, Mr. Cavalera has been a major force in the metal underground and beyond. Despite his busy Soulfly schedule, we managed to corral Mad Max long enough to get the 411. We discussed Soulfly’s 10th record, we got to geek out over some of our mutual current fave bands, and we get an update on his cool side projects.

“In our News, Views, and Tunes, we mourn the loss of some fallen comrades. Musically, we crank the Archangel record, some Sepultura, and get into the spirit of the season with some Goblin Rebirth, With The Dead, and Zombi. In our Extended Indie Spotlight, we’re stoked to lend a helping hand to our bros in Untimely Demise.”

Tune in at this location.

Video Premiere: HALESTORM

Video Premiere: HALESTORM's 'I Am The Fire'

HALESTORM's video for the song "I Am The Fire" can be seen below.

When HALESTORM came up with the title for "I Am The Fire", the band thought about all the different things that it could mean. Guitarist Joe Hottinger told TeamRock: "I think the lyric that sums up the whole song best is, 'I am the one that I've been waiting for.' It's the idea that nobody is holding you back except yourself. So be the fire."

He added: "If you listen to the song closely, there's no doubled vocals or harmonies or anything like that. It's all Lzzy [Hale, guitar and vocals] on her own, owning it. I am the fire. There is nobody else. That's the message of this song."

Lzzy Hale said in an interview that the band didn't set out to make a lighter album with its latest effort, "Into The Wild Life" — even though it worked out that way. Hale explained to May The Rock Be With You: "When we were talking about making songs heavier, it didn't necessarily mean stacks of Mesa Boogies and a lot of crunch and layers and walls of guitars." Hale added that the band followed only two rules while recording: "We're not going to record the record in the same way that we did the last two, and is it good or not?"

Hale told The Pulse Of Radio that the new disc felt like a natural evolution for the band while they recorded it. "The actual meaning of and the reason that albums are called albums is because it is a snapshot, it is a collection of imagery and sonically, you know, of a place and time in your life," she said. "And everyone keeps coming up to us that has heard the new record and says, 'Oh my gosh, this is such a leap from your last record,' and to us, 'cause we've just been living it, it's like, 'Oh no, it's not!'"

Hale also spoke about choosing a producer, Jay Joyce, who was not especially known for rock records. She explained: "He’s like this cool, chain-smoking, creative ball of energy, and his bread and butter — because of circumstance and the area that he's in Nashville — his bread and butter has been a lot of country artists and a lot of alternative. I believe we were the first hard rock band that he's recorded, and so it was just a really neat perspective to have, having somebody that loves rock and roll that hadn't really had the opportunity to show that."

"Into The Wild Life" debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 album chart, selling 56,000 copies in its first week of release — more than double the first week haul of the band's previous effort, 2012's Grammy-winning "The Strange Case Of…"

FIRE RED EMPRESS Enter The Studio With New Singer; Video Teaser Posted

FIRE RED EMPRESS Enter The Studio With New Singer; Video Teaser Posted

UK heavy rockers, Fire Red Empress, have entered Crown Works Studio in Wolverhampton with co-producer Gazz Rogers (God Damn, Robert Plant, Editors) to record new tracks including new single, “Hail The Face”. The track is being mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Mercenary) at Hansen Studios in Ribe, Denmark and marks the first recording with new singer Jennifer Diehl (formerly of Furykane). Check out a new studio video below.

“We can’t wait for people to hear Jen on these new songs. She’s given us a different edge and her voice is unbelievable” says Fire Red Empress guitarist Paul Gethin. “We’re working hard on writing our debut album but we just wanted to get a couple of songs out there so people can see where we’re heading…”

Within days of playing storming sets at Bloodstock and Summerbreeze Festivals in the summer, the band shocked fans with the announcement that singer Nik Taylor-Stoakes was being replaced. “It’s been a crazy year really but we’re excited to be finishing on a massive high!” says bassist Ben Picken.

Fire Red Empress play the following dates:

November
28 – The Metal Crusade - Wolverhampton, UK (with Raging Speedhorn)

December
6 – Planet Rockstock - Trecco Bay, UK

MOTHERSHIP To Hit The Road With CORROSION OF CONFORMITY; New Live Album Coming On Vinyl In January

MOTHERSHIP To Hit The Road With CORROSION OF CONFORMITY; New Live Album Coming On Vinyl In January

After the rerelease of their momentous second album and a storming start to 2015, Mothership – the hard rocking supersonic/intergalactic Texan trio – announce the arrival of Mothership Live Over Freak Valley this January on Ripple Music.

Recorded at their debut European appearance at the iconic German rock festival, brothers Kyle and Kelly Juett along with Judge Smith have captured their steaming hot stew of UFO and Iron Maiden inspired metal; southern Molly Hatchet and ZZ Top swagger, and deathly Sabbathian doom. A concoction that should by all accounts prove too heavy to handle on record, but as fans will soon discover, Mothership Live Over Freak Valley will deliver the filth and fury of the full Mothership live experience.

Since 2013 the band has travelled non-stop, playing live across the USA, Canada, United Kingdom and Europe; taking to festival stages, nightclubs, and under the sun at whatever motorcycle parties they could find. They are for all intents and purposes a heavy rock juggernaut that has only just begun to tear a hole in the cosmos. And guess what? They have no plans of slowing down for anyone.

All this month Mothership embark on a US tour with Corrosion Of Conformity, Brant Bjork and Saviours where the band will have CDs of Mothership Live Over Freak Valley on sale ahead of its official vinyl release on Ripple Music in the New Year. FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE:

FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE: 'King' Album Artwork Unveiled

Italian symphonic-death metal masters FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE have revealed the cover artwork to their upcoming album, "King". This stunning visualization was created by acclaimed contemporary artist Eliran Kantor (TESTAMENT, ICED EARTH, KATAKLYSM, HATEBREED).

Comments the band: "This work of art is nothing more than the picture of an old world coming to an end.The author, Eliran Kantor, perfectly interpreted the concept behind the album. The King represents the last stand of integrity and justice in a court infested by traitors, villains, perverts, parasites and prostitutes. In an era that looks more like the Middle Ages than the 21st Century, we felt the necessity to express our indignation for the constant loss of values and our despise for mediocrity and commercial use of superstitions.

"The question is, are we sure everything that is 'new' is right? Are we sure we are not losing the perception of what is the real value of things? Perhaps the essence of that King lies inside everyone of us but it's just dimmed by the mist of deceit and (ir)rational superfluity. Perhaps we should all hail the King we have inside."

"King" is scheduled for release in early 2016 via Nuclear Blast. The album was tracked at Kick Recording and 16th Cellar studios in Rome, and was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren (AMON AMARTH, AT THE GATES, ARCH ENEMY) at Fascination Street studio in Sweden.

Drummer/songwriter Francesco Paoli commented recently about the album: "The new album is called 'King'. It's a concept album. It took longer this time but I believe it's a sign of more maturity and determination within the band. We can't release something mediocre just because it's enough to keep things rolling. I believe the music world requires people to work harder on their material and that is what FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE is set to do in this 'new middle age' era. At the end of the day, quality is the final goal, right? That's why our expectations in our music and writing become higher every time we approach the stage of creating a new album. We always follow our feelings and try to express our state of mind through our music, and what we have in our hands now is the darkest FLESHGOD album ever. As for the concept behind the album, all I can say right now is that I think we need a good psychiatrist!"

FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE's third album, "Labyrinth", was released in 2013 via Nuclear Blast.

HEADSPACE To Release Sophomore Album In February; Studio Videos Streaming

HEADSPACE To Release Sophomore Album In February; Studio Videos Streaming

Headspace, the band featuring Damian Wilson (Threshold) and Adam Wakeman (Ozzy Osbourne, Snakecharmer), have announced they will release their second album, All That You Fear Is Gone, on February 26th. The band, completed by guitarist Pete Rinaldi (Hot Leg) and bassist Lee Pomeroy (It Bites, Steve Hackett), have also announced a new drummer in the shape of Adam Falkner (Babyshambes, Dido, One Eskimo).

Adam Wakeman had this to say: "This album is the first to debut new Drummer Adam Falkner whom Pete Rinaldi and I have toured with a lot in the past. He's a superb player and he really fits with the band's sound and style. He also gets a round in, which is a plus."

Damian Wilson comments on the new album: "The conforming individual represented in the first album that breaks away, is reflected in All That You Fear Is Gone. Free thinking, fighting against natural grouping, what appears as destructive rebellion is in fact evolution. Written to make the listener think, whilst capturing the ear with complexity and simplicity combined. Embarking on the second Headspace album I personally had a clear vision, but by the time each band member had thrown in their piece, I thought we had produced an album that was unlistenable to.  As it progressed, the rough edges and corners seemed to settle like a good lasagne. Everyone has their own tastes, but I know this is a bloody good lasagne."
