PUSCIFER: Preview Clip From 'What Is…' Concert Film-Meets-Mockumentary

"Toma", a preview clip from PUSCIFER's forthcoming concert film-meets-mockumentary, "What Is…", which is set for a November 26 release via Puscifer Entertainment, can be seen below. The two-hour sketch comedy show-meets-concert film builds upon and punctuates the multimedia format of the band's live performances with skits from the stable of PUSCIFER characters such as Billy D, Hildy and Major Douche woven into the performance footage of the Maynard James Keenan-led (TOOL, A PERFECT CIRCLE) quintet. "Being surrounded by so many talented and creative people is an endless source of inspiration," explains Keenan. "This film only scratches the surface of how deep our proverbial rabbit hole goes. 'What Is… Puscifer' is meant to conjure as many questions as it answers." An accompanying soundtrack will be released simultaneously. PUSCIFER's concerts have been praised for their out-of-the-box take on what a live performance can be, with the Orange County Register saying "the production… matters as much as the music" and describing the event as “a thought-provoking, senses-jabbing statement on a variety of topics.” The Dallas Morning News called the evening "an idiosyncratic experience" while the Austin Chronicle referred to the concert as a "multimedia prop dramedy." In stores August 27 is "All Re-Mixed Up", a track-for-track remix album of the band's sophomore release "Conditions Of My Parole". The twelve-song Remixers include Sir Mix-A-Lot, PALMS, Five Knives and Alain Johannes. Also coming from PUSCIFER this fall is a limited-edition Black Friday (November 29) release titled "Puscifer's 8-Ball Bail Bonds - The Berger Barns Live In Phoenix". The nine-song live album will be available on red vinyl at independent record stores nationwide.

CORRECTIONS HOUSE: 'Bullets And Graves' Video Released

"Bullets And Graves", the new Brian Sowell-directed video from CORRECTIONS HOUSE — Mike IX Williams (EYEHATEGOD), Scott Kelly (NEUROSIS), Bruce Lamont (YAKUZA), Sanford Parker (MINSK) and their minister of propaganda, Seward Fairbury — can be seen below. The song comes off the band's "Last City Zero" debut, released late last month via Neurot Recordings, and is an unapologetically violent, roadside nightmare marred by shady characters, nihilistic beatdowns and paths unknown. Shot completely in black and white, the production is as intriguing as it is unsettling. Produced by Parker at Electrical Audio, Soma Studios, 60 Psycho Hum and Nodferatu's Lair, "Last City Zero" offers up eight psychologically alarming hymns that span well beyond the traditional confines of sound. On "Last City Zero", the legion traverse tectonic plate-shifting doom and the downcast gloom of Kelly's usual ouevre into mutated industrial hissing and clanging EBM beats from Parker, squalls and drones of oblique saxophone from Lamont and Williams' familiar phlegm-drenched, razor-grated ire and all points in-between. Together they embrace the unkind, the diseased, the forgotten, the morose, their lush anti-soundscrapes and shadowy verses — at once beautifully hideous, graceful and terrifying — a product of societal ruin and psychological decay. Cold, mechanical, prosaic and pungent, "Last City Zero" is boundless in its genre voyage. CORRECTIONS HOUSE recently announced its European takeover, set take place this December. The rituals will commence on December 3 in Hamburg, Germany and level more than a dozen European metropolises before coming to a close December 21 in Wroclaw, Poland. Additionally, the band will preach its end-time message atop the main stage of the 013 venue in Tilburg on April 10, 2014 at Roadburn. On Friday, April 11 at Het Patronaat, Kelly, Williams, Parker and Lamont will each perform solo material, aided and abetted by a selection of others as they see fit. As a precursor to the overseas assaults, CORRECTIONS HOUSE will sully the stage of the Cactus Club in Milwaukee on November 29 and the Empty Bottle in Chicago on November 30, with additional stateside presentations to be announced in the coming weeks.

CODE: 'Glimlight Tourist' Video Released

"Glimlight Tourist", the new video from the U.K.-based avant-garde metal outfit CODE, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's third album, "Augur Nox", which is being released on November 19 in Europe and November 26 in North America via Agonia Records.

"Augur Nox" is the first album featuring CODE's new lineup of Aort, Wacian, Syhr, LORDt and Andras. The brand-new material demonstrates the band's fresh personnel in a vivid light, confirming CODE's position as a radiant gem in the extreme metal world. It displays a multifaceted approach: from stunning wide-ranging vocals, otherworldly clean passages, and barbed metallic riffery, all filtered through a refined prism of avant-garde black metal. The album is CODE's most progressive effort to date, yet always captures the band's distinct eerie and arcane vibe.

Featuring ten tracks and 2 interludes over a 55-minute playing time, "Augur Nox" is a bold step forward where acute songwriting and expansive experimentation go hand in hand.

CODE's sound has been both refined and exaggerated at the same time, to produce a melodically dense and ambitious piece of work. The band describes the forthcoming release as their "most dynamic and challenging material to date."

"Augur Nox" was mixed and mastered at Orgone Studios (GHOST, CATHEDRAL, ULVER) in London after three years of development and pre-production.

"Augur Nox" track listing:

01. Black Rumination02. Becoming Host03. Ecdysis04. Glimlight Tourist- Dx. (interlude)05. Garden Chancery06. The Lazarus Cord07. The Shrike Screw- Rx. (interlude)08. Trace of God09. Harmonies in Cloud10. White Tryptych

The follow-up to 2009's "Resplendent Grotesque" (nominated for a Spellemann award in the "Best Metal Album" category) will be available in digipack, limited vinyl and digital formats. The vinyl formats include: black vinyl, color in color vinyl (bone white/ultra clean) limited to 100 copies and a further 100 copies on swamp green/ultra clean color in colour vinyl.

KISS Overtakes NIRVANA In Fan Poll For ROCK AND ROLL HALL OF FAME

Legendary rockers KISS are leading the fan vote for induction into the 2014 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

According to The Plain Dealer, KISS has overtaken NIRVANA in the Rock Hall's poll: KISS is at 15.2 percent, followed by NIRVANA at 14.87 percent, DEEP PURPLE at 11.89 percent, and YES at 10.52 percent.

The Rock Hall's official poll will be used to create a single online fan vote. That will be matched against about 600 voters consisting of artists, historians and members of the music business.

The artists who get the most votes will be announced around December and will be inducted at a New York City ceremony next April. Highlights from the event will be shown on HBO in May.

During an interview with The Huffington Post, KISS frontman Paul Stanley took time to salute the band's fans while taking a swipe at chairman of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Foundation, Jann Wenner, when asked if he ever sees a day when KISS will be inducted into the Rock Hall. "Well, it depends on who lives longer, us or Jann Wenner," Stanley said.

"Look, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is marketing," he continued. "You've got a bunch of faceless people in a back room who trademark a name that sounds very official. Well, if you had thought of it first, you would have been the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. I am one of the biggest Laura Nyro fans. I still listen to that stuff incessantly. Laura Nyro does not belong in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Songwriter Hall Of Fame? Absolutely."

He went on to plead his case, saying: "It's absurd for anybody to look around and hear the acts and artists who cite us as an inspiration, and then tell me that we're not in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. I would certainly accept on their (the fans) behalf because it seems to be a major sore spot for them, but I don't need the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame."

KISS bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons told Rolling Stone last year about being shut out of the Rock Hall: "It's become a joke. We've been thinking about it and the answer is simply, 'We'll just buy it and fire everybody.' In all seriousness for the fans, for something to be called Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame is such an insult to MADONNA, BLONDIE. . . Who the fuck knows what other disco act is in there? It's an insult to them because they don't get to be in the 'Dance Hall Of Fame', because that's what they do. They're legitimate dance, disco artists. They don't belong in rock and roll."

Stanley added: "The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame has reached a point where they're really scrounging and scratching to find someone left that they consider viable. With all due respect, when you get to Patti Smith, you're about two steps away from Pete Seeger."

Gene Simmons told The Pulse Of Radio that awards hold little allure for him, since it's the fans that ultimately decide who stays around and who doesn't: "Our awards are under the 'K' section in record stores. Every time somebody goes out and plunks down their hard-earned money — either for a KISS ticket or for an album — that's the award, and reward."

VINCE NEIL: MÖTLEY CRÜE's Decision To Embark On Farewell Tour Has Nothing To Do With MICK MARS' Health

Sally Steele, publisher of Vegas Rocks! Magazine, conducted an interview with MÖTLEY CRÜE singer Vince Neil at the November 5 VIP party for Vince Neil's Tatuado Eat-Drink-Party!, described as "the ultimate definition of Neil's Tatuado brand and outrageous lifestyle," in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can now watch the chat below.

Asked about MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee's recent statement that CRÜE guitarist Mick Mars' ongoing battle with Ankylosing spondylitis, a painful form of chronic arthritis that causes vertebrae in the spine to fuse together, was one of the primary reasons for CRÜE's revelation that they will call it quits after 2015, Vince said: "I don't know why Tommy would say that. It really had nothing to do with Mick's health. It was just because we all felt — at least me and Nikki [Sixx, bass] and Mick — felt that it was just we didn't wanna go out on the bottom. We didn't wanna be one of those bands that start fading away. We've been on top for 32 years, and it's great. And it's just like, you know what? By the time we finish this tour, it'll be in 35 years of MÖTLEY CRÜE. So… that's really kind of it."

He added: "After this farewell tour, who's to say we won't play again? I could probably see us play way down the road — a concert here or concert there, maybe — but we're not, like, doing the KISS farewell thing, where they have their fifth farewell tour."

On the topic of what he plans on doing after MÖTLEY CRÜE is done, Vince said: "I have my own stuff. I have my solo band, and we have a lot of touring coming up. And actually, it looks like me and Sammy Hagar are gonna go out together for a long tour next year. I'll be carrying the torch for MÖTLEY CRÜE when MÖTLEY CRÜE is done."

Lee told Canadian progressive-house music producer and performer Deadmau5 in a recent video: "Our guitar player, Mick, he has a spinal disease that's slowly fusing his vertebrae together. It's one of those things that's treatable, but not curable. So it's just progressively getting really worse and it's painful for him, so he doesn't wanna tour much longer. I can't say I blame him… The last thing we ever wanna do is go out running on two cylinders with some hired guy playing guitar; that's just wack. So we wanna go out with one big hurrah with the original guys and be done with it."

He added: "That's such a bad look when bands are still playing the fucking fairgrounds — those county-fair shows — and it's just like two of the original guys, or one original guy, and the rest, no one knows who they are. We don't wanna do that."

However, in a posting last month on his Twitter account, Mars painted a different picture, claiming that his medical condition had never affected his playing. "Once again, any rumors regarding a farewell tour due to 'my poor health is BS," he wrote. "I am doing fine, my AS has never kept me from touring." He added: "Thank all of you for knowing the truth… When I'm done touring, you'll hear it from me."

Lee responded to Mars' Twitter posting, writing: "@mrmickmars it's probably not so much about your physical health it's more about our mental health as a band! Haha!"

MÖTLEY CRÜE recently returned to Las Vegas for an exclusive twelve-show engagement September 18 through October 6 at The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE Teams Up With THE CREATORS PROJECT For 'The Vampyre Of Time And Memory'

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE and The Creators Project, a partnership between Intel and Vice, have unveiled the interactive video for "The Vampyre Of Time And Memory". This bold production, directed by Kii Arens and Jason Trucco and designed and developed by Darknet, re-imagines the classic music video in the context of a virtual art installation distinguished by horror, weird beauty, and surrealism, and pushes the boundaries of creative expression. More than that, Joshua Homme and the band's commanding performance is simply not to be missed. Experience "The Vampyre Of Time And Memory" here.

Directors Arens and Trucco commented on co-creating the "Vampyre..." experience with the QUEENS: "Working on this QUEENS video was the ultimate artistic joyride.

"Joshua Homme and company gave us the creative keys to the car from word go... and Josh has a badass car.

"'Vampyre' is such a thick track...

"On the technology side, Darknet was the perfect forward-thinking company to push the boundaries of music video presentation.

"All art is technology, technology that shares an experience or an idea. 'Vampyre' uses all the tools available to us today to share a meaningful common experience.

"We're so proud to be a part of the best rock album in a decade.

"Long live the QUEENS!" In addition to the tri-level interactive video, Arens and Trucco have a offered up a Director's Cut incorporating elements of all three visual stagings. Check it out below. "The Vampyre Of Time And Memory", produced by The Creators Project, is another milestone in a banner year for QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. From the jaw-dropping Boneface-animated videos that heralded the release of the band's international No. 1 album "...Like Clockwork" (Matador) to the still-going largest tour in QUEENS' history, 2013 has been marked by one triumph after another for the band whose music The New York Times has hailed as "about a man at the border of life and death, with everything at stake, and that's exactly how it sounds." In addition, tomorrow sees the release of "...Like Cologne", a three-track EP exclusive to Spotify featuring unique live takes on three QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE classics, including "Vampyre of Time & Memory". "...Like Cologne" was recorded September 4 at the Kulturkirche in Cologne, Germany. Also, on November 29, we can all give thanks for the "...Like Clockwork" Black-On-Black Black Friday Edition: a limited-edition, high-quality black vinyl pressing of the "mini epic" (People) "soundtrack to the B movie of your dreams" (AP) in a blacker sleeve with yet blacker glossy print. VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS Sign With MASCOT LABEL GROUP

Mascot Label Group has announced the signing of VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS. The Dutch rock group will join, amongst others, Joe Bonamassa, VOLBEAT, GOV'T MULE, Beth Hart, Zakk Wylde/BLACK LABEL SOCIETY and Kenny Wayne Shepherd on the Rotterdam, Holland-based record company's roster. Mascot Label Group CEO Ed van Zijl is over the moon with signing Adrian Vandenberg's brand new band.

"Adrian is one of the most outstanding rock guitarists in the world," Ed said. "I have always followed his career and needless to say we are thrilled to finally be working with him. VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS are a fresh and hard rocking new band that will surely make an impact on the scene." Adrian Vandenberg rose to worldwide prominence with VANDENBERG, the melodic rock band that hit internationally with the powerful ballad "Burning Heart". Adrian solidified his status as one of the most talented rock guitarists around when he joined David Coverdale in the hard rock supergroup WHITESNAKE, co-writing many of its Billboard Hot 100-hits, like "The Deeper The Love" and "Now You're Gone", and supplying the legendary guitar solo to "Here I Go Again". After leaving WHITESNAKE, Adrian concentrated on his successful career as an artist, exhibiting his paintings in prestigious galleries all over Europe. Music however was always prevalent on his mind, so as soon as he had the opportunity to work with some incredibly talented young musicians, he started creating new music.

VANDENBERG'S MOONKINGS is:

Adrian Vandenberg (guitar)Jan Hoving (vocals)Sem Christoffel (bass)Mart Nijen Es (drums)

The band is currently in the studio recording its debut album for a February 24, 2014 release. An extensive European tour will follow. "We are proud to have joined the Mascot family," says Adrian. "It's a great company with fantastic people that love the music they work with. The band is raring to go and prove itself to the world, so we're anxious to finish the album and get it out there and I'm very happy that Ed van Zijl is giving us the opportunity to do so."

MNEMIC Parts Ways With Guitarist VICTOR RAY SALOMONSEN

Danish modern metallers MNEMIC have issued the following update:

"Hey, folks, without further ado, it's time to shed some light on MNEMIC's present and future.

"Bad news first, we're sad to announce that guitarist Victor Ray Salomonsen has decided to leave the band to pursue other musical paths and also focusing on being a dad. We want to thank him for two awesome years together that made 'Mnemesis' as well as three European tours, one Australian tour and many other great shows around the globe.

"There is no way we are going to let Victor out without throwing a big-ass 'goodbye' party, that's why we invite you to join us at BETA in Copenhagen on November 28, 2013 where we'll have our last show with him, so let's have one hell of a great time together!

"Many of you have probably been wondering, and some have been asking us in regards to why there has not been any activity from our side.

"The reason we've cancelled the latest shows, including our Euroblast appearance, was due to lineup instability as Victor left the band this summer, and bad vibes surrounding the band; and this turmoil was also undermining the writing process of MNEMIC's next album. And with the next album, great responsibility, clutter and confusion are not compatible with it. Therefore we decided to take a breather, clear out our minds and start fresh when the stars will align.

"In this era of fast-food approach applied over music, we'll go zen over it and focus on music alone. It is what matters the most and what will be remembered overtime, not the noise surrounding it. That's why we'll keep as a four-piece for the time being. In the meantime, our side projects, Mircea's [Gabriel Eftemie, guitar] BLOOD EAGLE, Guillaume's [Bideau, vocals] ONE WAY MIRROR, Simone's [Bertozzi, bass] THE MODERN AGE SLAVERY and EMPYRIOS will keep us busy and help getting back on track with an album to be remembered!

"See you in Copenhagen on November 28th for this special occasion and thanks for the support!"

MNEMIC's fifth album, "Mnemesis", was released in June 2012 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD landed at position No. 38 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.

"Mnemesis" was recorded at Antfarm studios in Aabyhøj, Denmark with longtime producer Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, HIMSA, SICK OF IT ALL). The cover artwork was created by Metastazis (MORBID ANGEL, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, PARADISE LOST, ULVER).

THREAT SIGNAL Guitarist TRAVIS MONTGOMERY Diagnosed With Myocarditis

THREAT SIGNAL guitarist Travis Montgomery has been diagnosed with myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart and the tissue around the heart. He tells Metal Injection: "There's a lot of the same symptoms as a heart attack, and apparently it feels just like one. The difference, though, is that this was caused by a virus."

He continues: "From all of the testing and things they've done, it looks like my heart is pretty damaged at the moment. It's working at about 35% of what it should be for someone my age. That can be fixed over time, though. I just need rest, to stay on a healthy diet, and to take my meds. I'll have to be on blood pressure medicine, and make sure to keep track of my heart rate and blood pressure a few times a day for probably the next year.

"They told me today that the average recovery time for someone that's gone through what I have is about 9-12 months.

"This did happen when I was outside of the hospital.

"I'm visiting my family in Texas, and it happened while I was just hanging out at the house. My brother and cousin rushed me to the hospital here when I started having the symptoms (pain in chest, hard time breathing, pain in arms, etc.). They ran an EKG and it came back with symptoms for a heart attack, so I was air lifted to Medical Plaza in Ft. Worth, and they took care of everything else there."

THREAT SIGNAL's third, self-titled album was released in October 2011 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Planet Z studios in Hadley, Massachusetts with producer Chris "Zeuss" Harris (CHIMAIRA, HATEBREED, ALL THAT REMAINS, THE ACACIA STRAIN, BORN OF OSIRIS, SHADOWS FALL). THREAT SIGNAL members Jon Howard and Pat Kavanagh were also involved with ARKAEA, the band featuring FEAR FACTORY members Raymond Herrera (drums) and Christian Olde Wolbers (guitar).

TOBY KNAPP To Release Compilation Of Unreleased Tracks

Shredguy Records and Sumthinfierce Records have joined forces to bring fans of heavy metal guitar, TOBY KNAPP-Archives Of Magick.

This special two hour double disc compilation reaches far back into Knapp's history from 1988 to the present. Unreleased neo-classical instrumentals, never before heard ONWARD tracks and serious explorations into extreme musical genres. This limited pressing is autographed by Knapp, who has had a very prolific year with the release of Static Warfare and the upcoming reissues of his band Onwards first two albums.

Michael McDowell of Shredguy Records says about the project, “It has been great working with Curtis Wray and Sumthinfierce Records. Curtis Wray has a passion for music that is unrivaled in this business. We are both based in Ohio and have been releasing music for the past few years, but never had a joint release. There have been projects we tried to get going with some local yokels in Ohio that ultimately failed, so it was great working with a professional and internationally known guitar player like Toby Knapp who has toured the world and is known throughout the guitar community as a great player.”

To purchase this CD visit Sumthinfierce.com or this location.

IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION Welcomes New Drummer

Detroit-based prog-metal act IMMINENT SONIC DESTRUCTION have completed the search to replace drummer Pat DeLeon, who left the band earlier this year. After several auditions, they have tapped Dan Chapa (SWITCHLINE, ROCKSTAR) to be the new member of ISD.
Following a successful North American tour with PAIN OF SALVATION and KINGCROW, Imminent Sonic Destruction began working on new music. The departure of DeLeon sidetracked this effort temporarily, and the band shifted their focus to finding a drummer who had the right mix of personality, humor and talent to take over the job. Chapa turned out to be all of those things, as well as an imposing physical specimen at 6'7" tall.

"Dan showed up with a tiny kit and proceeded to blow us away with his rendition of our songs," said guitarist and lead vocalist Tony Piccoli of the audition. "His technical ability, feel, sense of dynamics and showmanship are exactly what we were looking for. Right away, we all knew he was the guy to help us spread our own unique brand of Progressive Super Metal to the far corners of the globe. Which, interestingly, doesn't have corners."

Chapa had this to say: "I was honored to be asked to audition, and thankful to be chosen. This is a great group of people as well as great musicians. Needless to say, I can't wait to get to work!"

Imminent Sonic Destruction is now hard at work on the follow up to their 2012 debut CD, Recurring Themes, which was produced by Roy Z (BRUCE DICKINSON, SEPULTURA). Updates to follow.

MEGADETH's DAVE MUSTAINE Signs Publishing Agreement With WARNER/CHAPPELL MUSIC

Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group, has announced that it has signed a worldwide publishing agreement with renowned MEGADETH singer, songwriter, and guitarist Dave Mustaine. Effective immediately, Warner/Chappell will administer Mustaine's songwriting from MEGADETH's recently released album "Super Collider", as well as future songwriting. Mustaine said, "I am very excited about this new partnership with Warner/Chappell. I am glad to be reuniting with a hero of mine, Jon Platt, and industry legend Greg Sowders. I have never been happier." "As a singer, songwriter and guitarist, Dave Mustaine has virtually defined heavy metal music for the past three decades," said Jon Platt, President, Creative - North America, Warner/Chappell Music. "Since founding MEGADETH, Dave has built a body of work that serves as the benchmark for an entire genre. Today, MEGADETH remains a vital force, and Dave continues to rank among rock's most creative and influential musicians and composers. We are thrilled to welcome him to Warner/Chappell." In 1983, Mustaine founded MEGADETH and, in 1985, they released their first album which established the band as pioneers in the thrash metal movement. The band has since sold 50 million albums worldwide, including five consecutive platinum or multi-platinum albums in the U.S., while garnering 11 Grammy nominations. The band's 14th studio album, "Super Collider", was released this past summer and debuted at No. 6 on The Billboard 200 album chart. It was the first MEGADETH album to be released via Mustaine's own imprint, Tradecraft. Prior to MEGADETH, Mustaine was an early member of METALLICA. Before leaving the band in 1983, he had co-written a half dozen songs that would appear on the band's first two albums. In the video game arena, Mustaine composed the Grammy-nominated MEGADETH track "Sudden Death" for the 2010 release Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock. The game also featured two other Mustaine-composed MEGADETH songs: 1990's "Holy Wars… The Punishment Due" and 2009's "This Day We Fight!" Noted rock author/journalist Joel McIver ranked Mustaine No. 1 in his 2009 book, "The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists", and 2010 saw the publication of Mustaine's New York Times bestselling autobiography, "Mustaine: A Heavy Metal Memoir". Mustaine is also the organizer of the traveling heavy metal music festival known as Gigantour. Throughout MEGADETH's various personnel changes over the years, Mustaine has remained the band's sole constant member.

LACUNA COIL Singer CRISTINA SCABBIA's 'I'm No Saint' Ring: A Closer Look

Seventh Circle Artworks last week announced a new piece for 2013, exclusively designed by Cristina Scabbia, the voice of LACUNA COIL.

Seventh Circle Artworks has been fortunate enough to work with some great musicians in the past and feels very fortunate to have collaborated with Cristina on this rather devilish piece.

In 2012, Seventh Circle Artworks designer Alex Palmer met with LACUNA COIL at the band's London show to do a photo shoot with Cristina. They got talking and the idea for her to design a piece became a reality. They have been working together over the last 12 months on a few designs, but as is always the way, the first idea was the best.

The "I'm No Saint" ring was born.

The sterling silver ring, designed by Cristina, will only be available in the official shop from December 2.

A closer look at the ring is available below.

LACUNA COIL is currently taking part in the "Tragic Illusion Tour" that celebrates PARADISE LOST's 25th anniversary.

LACUNA COIL has completed recording its new album with producer Jay Baumgardner (P.O.D., SEVENDUST, EVANESCENCE, PAPA ROACH) for an early 2014 release via Century Media Records.

Former RACER X Guitarist BRUCE BOUILLET To Release 'The Order Of Control' In January

Former RACER X guitarist Bruce Bouillet will release his third instrumental album, "The Order Of Control", on January 21, 2014 via Mascot Label Group's Music Theories imprint.

Bouillet has enjoyed a successful career for the past couple of decades as both a sought-after player and a fixture within the Los Angeles studio scene.

THE ORDER OF CONTROL is a new band featuring Bouillet, Dave Foreman (bass) and Glen Sobel (drums). Bouillet made the move towards instrumental music when conspiring creatively with Foreman about eight years ago. He offers, "Dave is a L.A. underground legend. He has played on more big albums then I can list, some of which include DJ Quick, Aaliyah, Tupac, Snoop Dog, Ice Cube and BOYZ II MEN. His main instrument is guitar, but he plays all instruments amazing. His bass playing on the new album is incredible, and even though he is known for more hip hop and R&B, his rock playing really brings something new to the table." Sobel is an L.A. based drummer who tours with ALICE COOPER, but has also played with BEAUTIFUL CREATURES and Orianthi. Bouillet has been through the exercise of crafting instrumental album releases three times now, and articulates with ease the benefits to approaching songwriting without vocals in mind. He offers, "Instrumental albums give me a chance to speak with the guitar 100%. Not that I'm some sort of control freak, but just like someone who paints a picture chooses the artistic outcome, I want my instrumental albums to be uniquely me, and since I am not a singer, it provides the right vehicle for me to express myself. That being said I do have a new vocal band in the works for 2014, so in a way I have the best of both worlds." The guitarist shares his inspiration comes from, "Life, family, friends, traveling, teaching, reading, hiking in the mountains, playing live, or from anyone at the top of their game be it music, sports, science, or art."

"The Order Of Control" is a concept album. Its theme deals with a force intermixed throughout humanity that manipulates the masses. In choosing titles, everything relates to the theme. Bouillet advises, "Sometimes you have to read into it and research." With the opening track, "Blind As We Watched", it makes reference to events that happen around us, right in front of our eyes but invisible to our sight. With "Seeing Through", these days information travels at an ever increasing pace. This title is in reference to disinformation or seeing through disinformation. What better way to spread confusion to the masses, then by adding one sentence of truth in a paragraph of lies, and letting the social networks do the work for you by spreading it around." A third track titled "The Manipulators" references "those that possess the power to remote view, communicate with telepathy, orchestrate street theater, read minds, and place thoughts. They are well trained and organized. They stalk individuals in groups, and use such things as schizophrenia as a weapon to destroy people. It is the perfect crime manipulating one into self destruction."

RUSH's ALEX LIFESON: 'We've Committed To Taking About A Year Off'

Guitarist Alex Lifeson of Canadian rock legends RUSH tells Billboard.com that the band is currently taking a break following the completion of the length world tour in support of the group's latest album, "Clockwork Angels".

"We've committed to taking about a year off," Lifeson says. "We all agreed when we finished this ('Clockwork Angels') tour (in early August) we were going to take this time off and we weren't going to talk about band stuff or make any plans. We committed to a year, so that's going to take us through to the end of next summer, for sure. That's the minimum. We haven't stopped or quit. Right now we're just relaxing. We're taking it easy and just enjoying our current employment."

Although there are no firm plans for RUSH to regroup anytime soon to begin work on its follow-up album, Lifeson tells Billboard.com: "We enjoy writing and working together and I wouldn't doubt that some time in the New Year we'll probably gravitate towards each other and start doing some writing."

He adds: "It's going to be interesting to see where we do go next. You know, the album is dying as a format. We're so used to it and we're so old school in that format, but will we get more mileage by doing a few new songs at a time, or do we do another album? It's hard to say what the future holds, and it's just changing so rapidly. It's always hard to speculate where you're going to go."

Together with Rounder Records, NCM Fathom Events brings a rare VIP concert experience to fans with the one-night cinema event "Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour" on Monday, November 18 at 7:00 p.m. local time. The "Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour" event is a celebration for passionate and loyal RUSH fans to experience a big screen taste of the band’s upcoming, long-anticipated DVD release and relive the tour. Pre-recorded in Dallas and Phoenix on the band's extensive "Clockwork Angels Tour", the 2013 Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame inductees perform such classics such as "Tom Sawyer", "The Spirit of Radio" and "2112" alongside newly arranged material featuring the Clockwork Angels String Ensemble, which marks the first time the trio has taken additional musicians on stage. This epic fan experience also features 25 minutes of exclusive, behind-the-scenes RUSH footage that includes interviews with all three members and offers a rare glimpse into the band’s touring life. Tickets for "Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour" are available online at FathomEvents.com and at participating theater box offices. The event will be presented in more than 350 select movie theaters around the country through NCM’s exclusive Digital Broadcast Network.

For a complete list of theater locations and prices, visit the NCM Fathom Events web site (theaters and participants are subject to change).

"Rush: Clockwork Angels Tour" will be released via Anthem/Roadrunner Records on November 19. Anthem/Zoe Vision/Rounder will simultaneously release the companion DVD.

Ex-BLACK SABBATH Singer TONY MARTIN Featured In New GIUNTINI Video

"Shadow Of The Stone", the new video from Italian guitarist Aldo Giuntini's GIUNTINI project can be seen below. The song is featured on the GIUNTINI "Project IV" album, which was released on May 24 via Escape Music. The CD features lead vocals by none other than Tony Martin (ex-BLACK SABBATH), with the help of Ezio Secomandi (on drums), Dario Patti (on keyboards) and Fulvio Gaslini (on bass).

Regarding the six-year gap between the last two GIUNTINI albums, Aldo said: "My way of writing and producing the songs needs a lot of time. One could say I am a perfectionist, but when I have musical ideas for my guitar, I often have the other guys working with their own inputs: Also I need to have Tony Martin to work on the lyrics at the end, so this takes away a lot of time."

He added: "I wanted to have Tony again, because he is my favorite voice and I think that the blend of our styles is just perfect!

"'Project IV' continues the line of 'Project II', 'III', musically and I'm sure that who loved my second, and third work will appreciate the 'IV' album in the same way and more, since the production work is a lot improved this time and produced by Dario Mollo (MOLLO / MARTIN)."

According to a press release, "The sound of Giuntini's work is a combination of the warmth and the power of BLACK SABBATH's 'Headless Cross', 'Tyr', RAINBOW's 'Long Live Rock & Roll' and 'Rising' and DIO's 'Holy Diver' with energetic sound of LOUDNESS, the Japanese metal heroes! Giuntini's guitar playing is mainly influenced by Akira Takasaki, Vivian Campbell, Edward Van Halen, Jake E. Lee, John Norum and, of course, Yngwie Malmsteen."

GIUNTINI "Project IV" track listing:

01. Perfect Sorrow (3:08)02. Born In The Underworld (5:17)03. Shadow Of The Stone (3:58)04. Cured (4:08)05. I Don't Believe In Fortune (4:03)06. If The Dream Comes True (4:45)07. The Rise And Fall Of Barry Lyndon (4:33)08. Bring On The Night (4:20)09. Not The Jealous Kind (4:32)10. Saint Or Sinner (3:57)11. Last Station: Nightmare (5:19)12. How The Story Ends (4:24)13. Truth Never Lie (5:12)

CROWBAR Working On New Album

New Orleans sludge metal veterans CROWBAR have entered OCD Recording Studio in their hometown with engineer Duane Simoneaux to begin recording their tenth studio album for a 2014 release. The follow-up to 2010's "Sever The Wicked Hand" will be mixed by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who has previously worked with HATEBREED, SOULFLY and SHADOWS FALL, among others.

Windstein exited DOWN in September in order to focus "100%" on CROWBAR. He was replaced in DOWN by the band's longtime stage manager and HONKY founding guitarist Bobby Landgraf.

"After 22 wonderful years, we are parting ways," Windstein said. "They will always be my brothers and I wish the best to all of them. We have created some bad-ass music together that we can all look back on and be proud of. All of our great times will never be forgotten."

With Windstein devoting 100% of his focus on CROWBAR, he is assuring fans that the sky is the limit. He continues: "CROWBAR is my heart and soul. The music is a part of me that I am extremely proud of.

"It's an amazing feeling to be putting all of my energy and focus into something that I created 25 years ago!

"We are extremely excited to record our 10th full length album and to bring the riffs to as many people as possible on tour."

CROWBAR recently announced the addition of bassist Jeff Golden to the group's ranks.

Jeff (pictured all the way left in photo above), 32, is from Bolton, Connecticut, but currently resides in Estero, Florida.

Bassist Patrick Bruders quit CROWBAR in September in order to focus on DOWN

CROWBAR will head out on the road throughout Europe shortly before album release. The band has also been confirmed for the Roadburn, Maryland Death Fest and Hellfest festivals in 2014.

DELIVERANCE: 'Hear What I Say!' Audio Samples

Christian thrash metal veterans DELIVERANCE will release their tenth and final studio album, "Hear What I Say!", on December 10 via 3 Frogz Records/Roxx Records. The CD will include the track "The Annals Of Subterfuge", a demo version of which will appear on the upcoming "Thrashmageddon" compilation album.

A seven-minute sampler of the songs that are featured on "Hear What I Say!" can be streamed using the ReverbNation widget below.

According to a press release, "Hear What I Say!" is "a surprising fresh blend of the entire 'D' musical repertoire rolled into one record. With nine originals and two surprise cover songs, this release will once again show the world that founder and main songwriter Jimmy P. Brown II has not missed one step with his four-man army! Always ready to deliver, he assembled a true cast of players for this final venture that were up to the task!"

DELIVERANCE 2013 features Jimmy P. Brown II out front on vocals and lead guitar as well as the return of Michael Phillips (DELIVERANCE, THE SACRIFICED, JOIN THE DEAD) shredding once again on lead guitar. On bass making his long overdue return to the DELIVERANCE fold, none other than Manny Morales! And this time around pounding the drums is Jayson Sherlock (MORTIFICATION, HORDE, PARAMECIUM).

Jimmy P. Brown II says: 'I wanted to put the final chapter to this book called DELIVERANCE in its proper prospective! In the end, it was a magnificent journey with all the band members over the years, and, more importantly, our fans! This album is for them, to say goodbye in true 'D' fashion!

"I am ever grateful to all the supporters throughout the years, but 'D' has run its course. I want her to rest and go out with a nice beautiful and loud bang!

"To all our fans, supporters, and ALL of my former bandmates, it was a wonderful roller coaster ride, scary, exciting, nauseating, thrilling, terrifying, but in the end it was fun! Lives were touched, people found what they needed at the time, and now, the next journey will begin…"

"Hear What I Say!" track listing:

01. Liber 111 (intro)02. The Annals of Subterfuge03. Angst04. Hope Lies Beyond05. Detox06. Nude07. Passing08. A Perfect Sky09. Where Eagles Dare (IRON MAIDEN cover)10. Entgiftung (German version of "Detox")

Signed to Intense Records in the early stages of its career and with its video "Weapons Of Our Warfare" a staple on MTV's "Headbangers Ball", DELIVERANCE was at the forefront of all things speed metal.

SOUNDGARDEN Reissue Now Streaming Online

According to The Pulse Of Radio, a brand new reissue of SOUNDGARDEN's very first record releases can be streamed using the SoundCloud widget below. The recordings are being reissued on CD, double vinyl and as a digital set next Tuesday (November 26) via Sub Pop Records, the legendary independent label that was the Seattle grunge act's first home. The set includes the band's entire debut EP, "Screaming Life", as well as bonus tracks from its second EP, "Fopp", and songs that appeared on the "Sub Pop 200" compilation, all initially issued in the late Eighties. SOUNDGARDEN, which reunited in 2010 after a 13-year hiatus, still plays a few songs from these early records in its current live show.

Guitarist Kim Thayil told The Pulse Of Radio not long ago how it felt for the band to play its old songs again after many years. "Surprised at what we remembered, and also surprised at what we forgot," he said. "We remembered some of the most ridiculous things, and forgot the most obvious and easy things, so it was kind of strange. We'd play some stuff really intensely tight until about two minutes into it, and then we would kind of look at each other and say, 'What did we do there?'"

All the tracks have been remastered by producer Jack Endino and the LP versions are the first time the songs have been pressed to vinyl since the original releases.

SOUNDGARDEN is currently on a break after spending much of 2013 on tour in support of last year's reunion album, "King Animal", the group's first set of all-new music since 1996.

Lead singer Chris Cornell is currently on a solo acoustic tour that brings him to Providence, Rhode Island on Tuesday (November 19), while drummer Matt Cameron is on the road with PEARL JAM.

Cameron announced last week that he will sit out SOUNDGARDEN's 2014 live dates due to tour commitments with PEARL JAM and a desire to spend more time with his family. His temporary replacement has yet to be named.

DEVIN TOWNSEND: Unboxing Of 'Deluxe' Edition Of 'The Retinal Circus' (Video)

Renowned Canadian multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and producer Devin Townsend played a special concert October 27, 2012 at the Roundhouse venue in London, England as part of a one-night-only event, dubbed "The Retinal Circus", that was recorded for both DVD and Blu-ray, and was released on October 29 in North America (Sepember 30 in Europe) via InsideOut Music.

"The Retinal Circus" was released on several formats, including a lavish and bonkers limited edition befitting of the man himself, and which took months of hard work to put together. The complete list of formats is below:

* Standard 2-disc DVD * Standard 1-disc Blu-ray * Standard 2-CD audio * Special edition (2 DVDs/1 Blu-ray/2 CDs) box set * Diehard deluxe fan box including 2 DVDs, 1 Blu-ray, 2 CDs

A six-minute "unboxing" video of the diehard deluxe fan box of "The Retinal Circus" can be seen below.

Devin previously described "The Retinal Circus" as "a retrospective of my career in music to date, with the central theme being a metaphor of how life and the adventures therein are a 'circus' of sorts. The show involves a cast of characters and guests that support this theme through carnival type performances. A story about how a troubled young man dreams of fantastic scenarios, (illustrated through the music of my back catalogue), which ultimately crests in the characters realization that life is all about the relationships we have with each other. This is the first opportunity I have been given to make theatrical representations of my music."

In an interview with Metal Insider, Townsend stated about "The Retinal Circus": "It's like such a clusterfuck on stage. Whether or not people who're new to it understand what I'm trying to do, I like the idea that it's like… When I watch it, I'm, like, 'That's pretty much how I feel it should look like.' For better or for worse, it's like this crazy chaos."

Regarding what inspired the setlist for "The Retinal Circus", Townsend said: "I tried to get a bit of everything, but at the end of it, it was most important to include the songs that we could illustrate the best. The show itself had this peculiar story and so that story arc required me to choose songs that would contribute to that, rather than just elbow it in there. So we missed some stuff. 'Terria' wasn't in there, and whatever, but it leaves room for the next thing."

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE: New Song 'Raising Hell' Premieres On BBC Radio 1's 'Rock Show'

A brand new song from Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE entitled "Raising Hell" was premiered on last night's (Monday, November 18) edition of BBC Radio 1's "Rock Show" with Daniel P. Carter.

A low-quality rip of the track can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE frontman Matt Tuck stated via Twitter: "We haven’t just raised the bar, we've sent it into fucking orbit."

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE drummer Michael "Moose" Thomas told Billboard.com in a recent interview that the band has "already started writing for the next album, which is completely different from [this year's] 'Temper Temper'."

"It's definitely more of a step towards our first two records," Thomas said. "We always like to keep changing our records and our sounds and stuff. I think you have to change, otherwise it gets boring for us and the fans get bored. Look at all the great bands through rock history; they changed on all their albums — especially METALLICA. Their albums have always changed, and they're the biggest metal band ever. So we just want to keep changing and get to another level each time out."

Tuck told the U.K.'s Rock Sound magazine, "We're actually going to start working on the new record before the (U.K.) arena dates (in early December). We've got (producer) Terry Date coming over from America, we'd like to work with him, he'd like to work with us so we're gonna have a bonding session, write a couple of songs and see how it goes."

Date is known for working with heavier acts like PANTERA, WHITE ZOMBIE and DEFTONES, while BULLET's previous producer, Don Gilmore, is known for more commercial fare like LINKIN PARK.

Tuck said about hiring Date, "When we worked with Don, he was very much focused on chopping parts out and making things concentrated, now we want to work with someone who has worked with bands like PANTERA and DEFTONES, where that mentality was probably not in the game at all. We want someone to go 'it's not big enough' or 'it's not metal enough' and keep us focused on our talents."

Tuck told The Pulse Of Radio a while back that he had no regrets about the band exploring its more melodic side on its last two albums. "The big thing that we've learned is, like, you're not gonna please everyone all the time," he said. "As long as you do what you want to do and the band is happy and you feel you haven't given away your integrity, you know, I don't really care if people go, 'Oh, it's not metal enough, it's not heavy enough.' It's like, that's not what we are."

The singer said that the band already has "four or five song ideas" ready to go, adding, "It's riff after riff after riff after riff so far. We're very much concentrating on musical ability, we're showing off basically! We pulled back a bit from it on the last couple of records, on this one if we do work with Terry Date, I think it'll be a no-holds barred display of what we're about."

"Temper Temper" entered The Billboard 200 album chart at No. 13 earlier this year. The latest single from the disc is "Dirty Little Secret".
