Former HELLOWEEN Singer MICHAEL KISKE Joins Forces With DENNIS WARD In UNISONIC
Former HELLOWEEN vocalist Michael Kiske has teamed up with Dennis Ward (bass) and Kosta Zafiriou (drums) of Germany's PINK CREAM 69 in a brand new project dubbed UNISONIC. Swiss guitarist Mandy Meyer, who has previously played with ASIA, GOTTHARD and KROKUS, completes the group's lineup.
UNISONIC marks the first time Kiske has been involved in a real band situation in almost 16 years. Having split with HELLOWEEN in late 1993, he participated in various projects and released several solo albums but had not been part of a real group effort until now.
While collaborating with Ward and Zafiriou on the PLACE VENDOME project four years ago, Kiske found two musical soulmates. They ended up recording two PLACE VENDOME albums before deciding to join forces in a new brand new band. Ward, who had previously produced a record for KROKUS, suggested Meyer as the perfect addition to the group in the vacant guitarist slot.
Sharing the vision of a rock band free of any musical limitations, the quartet has already started writing songs for its debut album, which is scheduled for release in late spring.
Kiske, one of the finest and most unique voices in contemporary rock music, explains his motivation of becoming a part of a band again: "Since the PLACE VENDOME productions I was impressed by Dennis Ward's skills as a songwriter and producer. We were occasionally fooling around since then via email that we should do more together in the future, so the idea came up to do a new band. I was generally getting a bit tired of doing everything on my own for so many years, so it just felt like the right thing to do now. We can all only benefit from working together. No matter how good you are solo, four people will always be better than one, I think, if they manage to function together. And a real band is also a very good reason to finally go on tour again. After 17 years, I can't wait to get back on stage and have some fun with the band and the fans!"
In the summer of 2010, UNISONIC will hit the festival stages all over Europe. Dates in other territores are also planned.

SIX FEET UNDER Covers SLAYER, METALLICA, TWISTED SISTER On \'Graveyard Classics 3\'
Tampa, Florida's kings of groove-laden death metal SIX FEET UNDER are back with the third installment of the band's cover series, "Graveyard Classics 3", due out via Metal Blade Records on January 19, 2010. "Graveyard Classics 3" was recorded at D.O.I. Digital Audio in Tampa, Florida, was mixed at Audiohammer Studios by Mark Lewis, and was produced by Chris Barnes.
Commented Barnes: "We went about picking the tracks for this installment of 'Graveyard Classics' by really just trying to search out songs from early on in our musical upbringing, as well as tracks from when we were just fans of heavy music, before we started playing in a band. Once again choosing songs that have really stuck with us over the years, also choosing the songs that we felt would sound interesting when played in the SFU 'death groove' style.
"Through the years of doing covers, many of our fans have inquired about us covering a SLAYER or a METALLICA song. It was really something we wanted to do for some time, those two bands being our biggest influences, as well as influencing a generation of death metal musicians.
"To sum it up... this is a tribute to honor the great teachers that have influenced us as well as the world of metal we all belong to. We hope our fans will enjoy."
"Graveyard Classics 3" track listing:
01. A Dangerous Meeting - MERCYFUL FATE
02. Metal On Metal - ANVIL
03. The Frayed Ends Of Sanity - METALLICA
04. At Dawn They Sleep - SLAYER
05. Not Fragile - BACHMAN TURNER OVERDRIVE
06. On Fire - VAN HALEN
07. Pounding Metal - EXCITER
08. Destroyer - TWISTED SISTER
09. Psychotherapy - RAMONES
10. Snap Your Fingers, Snap Your Neck - PRONG

THE ETERNAL To Work With THE TEA PARTY\'s JEFF MARTIN On New Album
Fresh from their 2009 world tour across Australia, Japan Europe, America, Canada and Mexico in support of their album "Kartika", Melbourne's dark rockers THE ETERNAL will enter 301 Studios Byron Bay on December 4 with acclaimed producer and multi-platinum recording artist Jeff Martin (THE AMARDA, THE TEA PARTY) to record their fourth album.
Having returned from the tour with the band's strongest lineup to date, guitarist/vocalist Mark Kelson states that the new album has a clear vision that will evolve THE ETERNAL's sound to a new level with the collaboration of producer Jeff Martin. "We are really excited about this opportunity to work with Jeff Martin who has been a big influence on me over the years and I can't think of any one better to bring the best out of us and our sound," he said. "This is truly a highlight for me as far as THE ETERNAL is concerned."
Jeff Martin adds: "Ladies and gentlemen, I proudly re-introduce THE ETERNAL... The type of band I've been waiting to produce. It's been a year now since Mark and I agreed to embark on a journey that begins this December. For THE ETERNAL this will not be a stepping stone but a launch pad. For me, a creative working relationship that allows me to realise an artist's vision and re-connect with past influences, all the while looking into the future...darkly. I envision an alchemical marriage, a musical landscape anchored by organic rock and roll and infested with industrial overtones. To put things lightly, you're not playing with kids here. THE ETERNAL are the real deal."
The as-yet-untitled album will be co-engineered by Paul Pilsneniks who has worked with such artists as THE LIVING END, THE MARS VOLTA, SILVERCHAIR, GRINSPOON and ALANIS MORISSETTE, and THE ETERNAL has also enlisted acclaimed Finnish keyboard player Maria Ilmoniemi (TARJA, HUSKY RESCUE) to contribute.
The CD will see the light of day in 2010. | 0

MEGADETH\'s CHRIS BRODERICK: \'I Try To Be Confident With My Playing\'
Sonic Excess conducted an interview with MEGADETH guitarist Chris Broderick on Friday, November 6. A few excerpts from the chat follow below.
Sonic Excess: MEGADETH's U.S. tour kicks off on November 14th. How many new songs from "Endgame" will be added to the setlist, and what has been the crowd's reaction to new material so far?
Broderick: As far as the reaction, it has been great. It has been quite surprising to me, because usually when I am up on stage and playing music I'm trying to put on a good show. But I do tend to notice things that people do, whether it's throwing fits in the air or crowd surfing. The big one for me is when people are singing along with the lyrics. When you see that, it's a good indication that people like the songs and genuinely want to hear them. I have seen that in both of the new songs we are playing live, those being "Head Crusher" and "1,320", and I have been very impressed by that. With MEGADETH having such a big catalog and long history, for the fans to want to hear the new material is great.
Sonic Excess: MEGADETH is missing a lot of major cities on this first leg, so I'm guessing more tour dates will be announced.
Broderick: Right, you can expect them soon.
Sonic Excess: Today (November 6) I heard a rumor that MEGADETH will be touring with SLAYER and TESTAMENT in the U.S. Can you put the rumors to rest or confirm?
Broderick: I read that myself, but I have not heard anything to that effect. So, I cannot really comment on that.
Sonic Excess: You just released your first album with MEGADETH back in September. What was the process like for you during the recording of "Endgame"?
Broderick: It was very cool. Coming in from the bands I came from, I would have a very strict deadline and a limited amount of time for recording. When we came into "Endgame", it was very cool because we could start with just a simple riff, and we all record with the drums, bass guitar, listen to it, and then just start arranging from there. We had a lot of time to listen to what we were creating and rearrange it. That was a luxury I never had.
Sonic Excess: Dave [Mustaine] seems like he has a strong work ethic and expects nothing but the best. Were you a bit intimidated?
Broderick: Well, there were some tense moments, but that's when I had my own personal goal I was trying to meet. I guess what I would call a personal deadline for me, like executing solos and making sure they where what I wanted. That is where the stress came from. It was self-induced in this case, but it was relaxed overall. Dave does expect a lot, but, at the same time, he was happy with what I produced.
Sonic Excess: You are also a classically trained musician. How did you incorporate your personal style into "Endgame"?
Broderick: There were some personal touches, like with "The Hardest Part of Letting Go...Sealed With a Kiss", and then there were a lot of arrangements, in terms of the harmonization process, melodies over the top of rhythms and stuff like that. A lot of the theory knowledge I have, concerning how to harmonize and things of that nature, came into play at that point
Sonic Excess: How has being in MEGADETH changed your perspective of being a professional musician?
Broderick: I think, in a way, it really has made me look at the way I present myself in every aspect. I think you can be a great musician, there are some awesome guitarists out there that play for 12 hours a day, but they don't think about the way they are presenting the material that it plays into. That is one area that I think it really helps me. Also, the way I present my playing too. I try to be confident with my playing, so that is one thing it really helped me do. | 0

SWALLOW THE SUN - B-Side Of New Digital Single To Feature MARILLION Guitarist Steve Rothery
Death/doom maestros SWALLOW THE SUN will be releasing the title track from latest album New Moon as a digital single on November 2nd 2009 via Spinefarm Records UK. The single comes with 'Servant Of Sorrow' as the B-side, which features guitarist Steve Rothery of MARILLION fame as special guest.
Comments mainman/band guitarist Juha Raivio: “This is a dream come true, Steve Rothery has always been the most influential guitar player for me. Being a long time Marillion fan, it is an honour beyond words having him playing on one of our songs. This really shows the spirit of a genuine progressive musician, to do this strange collaboration."
The band's new album, New Moon, will be released November 4th in Finland, November 9th in UK and November 10th in North America via Spinefarm/Universal Music.

JON OLIVA\'S PAIN To Mix New Album At The End Of November
JON OLIVA'S PAIN, the band led by SAVATAGE mastermind Jon Oliva, will release its fourht album, "Festival", on February 19, 2010 via AFM Records. A March/April European tour will be confirmed soon, culminating with the filming of a live DVD consisting of music from the four JON OLIVA'S PAIN CDs and a healthy dose of SAVATAGE classics.
Commented Oliva: "We are in the final week of tracking and will begin mixing the new record the week of Thanksgiving (November 23-28). We will post some new tunes just as soon as physically and legally possible. JON OLIVA'S PAIN will also shoot it's first live DVD during our upcoming tour of Europe. Plenty of SAVATAGE classics will, of course, be a part of this and every show.
"We hope to have the DVD edited and maybe even be able to debut it live on the Triton Power Cruise cruise (April 30 - May 3, 2010), if the promoter is OK with that."
Drummer Christopher Kinder recently stated about the forthcoming JON OLIVA'S PAIN CD, "Part of the staple JON OLIVA'S PAIN sound has become [Jon's] ability to change characters and voices at will and to create incredibly interesting, thought-provoking, passionate and downright insane vocal melodies. [Producer] Tom Morris and I have been pushing him to the edge (as Jon Oliva requested), and we have met that challenge with great enthusiasm and also a bit of joy watching him suffer.... .
"Oliva's tenancious attitude, drive and full desire to do the best he can is only partially over-shadowed by the seemingly impossible task of singing songs that would require most of us to swallow mass consumptions of razor-blades in order to deliver what would be considered as torture to any metal music lover."
JON OLIVA'S PAIN's latest album, "Global Warning", was released in the U.S. in May 2008 via Locomotive Records. The CD features a guest appearance by guitarist Ralph Santolla (OBITUARY, ex-DEICIDE, DEATH, ICED EARTH) on two songs: "Adding the Cost" and "You'll Never Know". | 0

"Deathless" is the band's fourth album with Dave Peters as frontman and primary songwriter, its second with guitarist Mark Choiniere (who joined the band in 2005) and first with bassist Mark Mitchell. KORN Guitarist In SCHWARZENATOR, The \'Ultimate\' ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER Concept Band
SCHWARZENATOR — the self-proclaimed "ultimate Arnold Schwarzenator concept band" featuring guitarist Shane Gibson (KORN) and Rhythm magazine's "Best Drummer in the World," Austrian-born Thomas Lang, will showcase their debut EP, "Schwarzenator", at West Hollywood, California's Key Club on the Sunset Strip on Monday, December 7 at 10:00 p.m.

The ultimate heavy metal homage to all things Arnold Schwarzenegger, SCHWARZENATOR also features the outrageous JP Von Hitchburg (VENISON, WITHIN THE VOID) on vocals; bassist Eloy Palacios (VENISON) and yes, even more insane guitars from Jonathan Weed (CHARLIE SUPERFLY).
On their self-titled debut album, SCHWARZENATOR rocks tracks like "Kindergarten Cop", "Commando" and "End of Days" with their tongues planted firmly in cheek and their middle fingers in the air.

The CD was recorded at MNEMIC's own studio and at the Antfarm facility in Aarhus, Denmark with Danish producer Tue Madsen (HALFORD, BEHEMOTH, KATAKLYSM, THE HAUNTED), who previously helmed the group's "Mechanical Spin Phenomena" (2003) and "The Audio Injected Soul" (2004) CDs.
"Sons Of The System" ( cover) track listing:
01. Sons Of The System
02. Diesel
03. Mnightmare
04. The Erasing
05. Climbing Towards Stars
06. March Of The Tripods
07. Fate
08. Hero(in)
09. Elongated Sporadic Bursts
10. Within
11. Orbiting
The entire "Sons Of The System" booklet can be checked out via a digital flip book at this location.
Commented guitarist/mainman Mircea Gabriel Eftemie: "The new album — without sounding too cliché but may ending up sounding cliché — is actually the best material and the most diverse we have written as a band to date. No fancy bullshit producers, no fancy L.A. studios — just us and Tue Madsen, making a MNEMIC record just like we did on the very first album, 'Mechanical Spin Phenomena'.
"The music itself can be described as very eclectic, very diverse, and nothing that you would imagine coming from a band like us. Let's just say it has become more theatrical, more electronic, and just more catchy, as we have put all our focus on writing good songs and not being afraid of experimenting.
"It's been almost three years since the last album. We are five different individuals who have evolved in our tastes and inspirations which has contributed to this album's conception. We don't need to be dressed up as a Hot Topic circus extravaganza trying to make music for the radio or have 2-3 singers in our band to try and achieve what we want.
"We have surpassed ourselves with this album, and in our humble opinion and hearts, this is a great-sounding album, which you definitely have to check out 'cause we promise you won't be disappointed! Whether you are for polyrhythmics, electronics or even death metal — it's all there!"
MNEMIC's last CD, "Passenger" (2007), was produced by FEAR FACTORY's Christian Olde Wolbers at Track Record Studios (KISS, MEGADETH, AEROSMITH) in Los Angeles. The album featured artwork by Asterik Studios (ANTHRAX, UNEARTH) plus guest vocal appearances by Jeff Walker (CARCASS, BRUJERIA) and Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH, BRUJERIA). MNEMIC also completed a video for the song "Meaningless" with Revolver Film director Patric Ullaeus. | 0

"From then on, there are going to be a lot of changes in the SATYRICON camp," he said. "After we take a long touring break and come back a couple of years later, certain people may not be with us any longer. Although we won't be doing anything overly dramatic, we'll be trying quite a few different things, which I think is going to be really good for SATYRICON. The reason we're doing that is so we can continue to develop our sound. At the moment we are still enjoying what we do, but if that continues any longer it'll undoubtedly stagnate, so we need to ensure that doesn't happen. And moving in different musical directions is definitely a good way to go about it."
"As an artist, there are so many new things I'd like to do," Satyr added. "And one of them is to work on some songwriting for SATYRICON, though from an entirely different angle. For example, we may chose to go for a similar tone, but use a different set of instruments in the next record. Maybe there are also other recording techniques, which could add a different element to our work and open up fresh musical territory. Our last three releases all follow a certain style and pattern, and we want to create a record that's radically different from the others. Though the foundation of SATYRICON's sound — my songwriting and Frost's signature drumming — will always remain unchanged."

UNSHINE: \'My King\' Video Available
"My King", the new video from the Finnish druid metal group UNSHINE, can be viewed here. The clip was directed by Toni Salminen. The song comes off the band's second album, entitled "The Enigma of Immortals", which was released in April 2008 via Low Frequency Records.
According to the band, UNSHINE "has retired to misty and ancient backwoods in order to prepare new material for the [follow-up to] 'The Enigma of Immortals'. Thus far, the material sounds like dark and doomed, universally floating steamroller and almost everything in between that." | 0

NIGHTWISH Mainman Says Next Album Will Be \'A Bit Brighter\' Than \'Dark Passion Play\'
U.K.'s Terrorizer magazine recently conducted an interview with NIGHTWISH mainman/keyboardist Tuomas Holopainen. A few excerpts from the chat follows below.
Terrorizer: You've done it. The [last] show [of the "Dark Passion Play" tour] is over. You're officially on "holiday." How do you feel?
Tuomas: "I didn't sleep on the night before and I didn't sleep last night either. You know it's a weird thing, two years on the road and then the final show that you're like shit-scared of and really excited as well. And then it goes as well as it did it's just such a relief and such a sensation of sadness at the same time that you don't really know how to be. It's like you have been in the nicest prison on earth for two years and finally you're free and you don't know what to do. Yesterday's show [at the Hartwall Arena in Helsinki], I think it was top three we ever did."
Terrorizer: So, then it's back into the studio, right?
Tuomas: "Yeah, well first, in about two weeks I'm going to go to the Mediterranean to do a sailing trip with my dad, with my uncle. Kind of like a family thing, yeah the boys at sea that's it. It's going to be fun, in the Mediterranean, in Turkey and Greece, and after that it's going to be a week and then we go to Australia for six weeks, after that it's almost Christmas. Then in January I'm going to go to Orlando to visit Donald and Goofy and Mickey and the pals again after that..."
Terrorizer: So... after the annual cartoon intake, then what?
Tuomas: "Yeah after that I start working on the next album 24/7 and we have already booked a rehearsal place. That's going to be happening in July/August next year then we'll have September off and we're going to enter the studio beginning of October so that's the plan."
Terrorizer: Last time around you went into the new album with so much up in the air, who would be the vocalist on it being the biggest hurdle you had to get over. Does it feel like a different process this time around? Are you happier about heading back to the writing desk?
Tuomas: "Much much happier, so much more light at the end of the tunnel. I have a very clear vision of the next album already, which feels really weird but I have all the song titles. I know how many songs there are going to be. I have four songs done already even though it's still pretty preliminary, the whole album, but I have a good idea what it's going to be like and uh, it's still going to be metal but I think it's going to be a bit brighter than 'Dark Passion Play'."
Terrorizer: Brighter — more pop songs? No more long epic symphonic compositions? They must be a sod to write.
Tuomas: "No, they come much easier for me. I remember 'Creek Mary's Blood', that's eight-and-a-half minutes, that came out in two hours. 'The Poet And The Pendulum' in just a couple of days, same thing with 'Ghost Love Score', they just come up naturally, I don't know. But then again a song like 'Nemo', I couldn't get it together. I worked for months and months and it's only four minutes."
Terrorizer: Ten years on did you guys think you'd be headlining Hartwall like you did last night?
Tuomas: "I never thought it, none of us did, for anything like this to ever happen. I was studying biology in university and I was supposed to be a mad scientist. Jukka was doing computer studies in the university and Emppu was working in a carpet factory or whatever. Everybody was doing it just for fun and we had our own pace and then everything just got out of hand. We dropped out of school and started doing it 24/7 and this approach has had its advantages and disadvantages; disadvantages being that we have always been really naive but the plus side is that it's always been really sincere at the same time because we haven't had any expectations, [and] there has never been any posing. You know, it's not like we try to achieve anything else than just the pleasure of playing and free booze."
Terrorizer: Do you ever get pissed off with the fame?
Tuomas: "Yeah, I actually do, you have to be a bit more careful here than in other countries with what you do. I can't piss in the street publicly. Well, you can always say it's a matter of choice of career but sometimes, it's like two weeks ago there was a three-page story about my house and they had actually hired a helicopter to fly over the house and photograph it. This kind of stuff bothers me a little bit, and they have the directions of how to get to the house."
Terrorizer: Is this something that has affected a lot of metal musicians in Finland?
Tuomas: "I think that HIM and THE RASMUS, maybe, there was a big story about RASMUS getting a new car yesterday. But no the media has been quite kind to us actually, sometimes it hurts a little bit, especially this house thing when they had actually come to my house to film it with directions and everything, so that's a bit too much."

DEEP PURPLE Expects To Be \'In Full Writing Mode Around February\'
Debbie Bennett of Express & Star recently asked DEEP PURPLE singer Ian Gillan when fans can expect to hear the band's new studio album.
"No one's done any writing yet," said Gillan. "I've got about 50 songs in my library at the moment, but they're not for DEEP PURPLE."
During a brief break in the band’s tour this year, Gillan recorded a solo album "One Eye To Morocco", released earlier this year.
"We always start from scratch, with nothing," he continued. "We'll need to take a decent break, a month off. Then hopefully we'll all be in high spirits and I reckon we'll be in full writing mode around February."
DEEP PURPLE's current long tour is to mark the band's 40th anniversary. "I'm not being funny," Ian said, "but we’ve never named it the 40th year tour! We just got sick of calling it 'Rapture of the Deep'. It's actually a five-year tour that we're doing. We just love it."
DEEP PURPLE has a new live album in the works called "Space Truckin' Round the World Live 68-76". According to Classic Rock magazine, the two-disc set — due out this month — will feature rare live recordings from various concerts all over the world, including gigs in Tokyo, Paris and San Diego. The compilation, which features multiple band line-ups, will also feature a detailed history of the group, individual concert details and photos. It's being released as part of the 10th anniversary of Purple Records — the label that handles the band's music.
DEEP PURPLE's 18th studio album, "Rapture of the Deep", was released in November 2005. It is the fourth studio CD from DEEP PURPLE since guitarist Steve Morse joined the band in 1994. It was also the second album to feature veteran keyboardist Don Airey.

MISERY SPEAKS Calls It Quits
German melodic death metal outfit MISERY SPEAKS has issued the following update:
"In the tenth year after founding the band, several line-up-changes and three albums, we are very sorry to tell you that we finally decided to call it a day and close the chapter MISERY SPEAKS. Different personal reasons forced us to come to this decision which lies heavy on our hearts.
"There is absolutely no reason for rumours since we are still good friends without any bad blood. We all still share the passion for music since everyone of us is involved in other bands or is working on other projects which we are looking forward to. Furthermore, we share the opinion that 'Disciples Of Doom' is our most ambitious and honest album to date which prepared the way to all our future activities. Keep your eyes and ears open!
"We want to use this opportunity to thank all of our supporters and fans. You are the ones who made all of our experiences possible. We had the fuckin' time of our lives and only want to miss a few of these moments. Thank you for that!
"Before the final curtain closes forever, we did a video for the title track of our last album, 'Disciples Of Doom', as a farewell gift for you. Watch it below.
"Beside that, we will play some selected shows in Germany, Austria and Switzerland until the end of the year and a short farewell tour in some of the bigger cities in Germany in early 2010. Our final show will happen in our hometown Münster around that time. We hope to see many of you at these shows to party hard and bang your heads with us."

SISTER SIN To Enter Studio In February
Swedish female-fronted heavy rock band SISTER SIN has issued the following update:
"It's been little over a year since [SISTER SIN's debut album] 'Switchblade Serenades' hit the streets and we felt it was about time to announce that we're entering the studio again on February 1 to record what will be known as the 'True Sound Of The Underground' for a 2010 release. This time Henrik Edenhed [DEAD BY APRIL, ROBYN, LAMBRETTA, TEDDYBEARS, CHRISTIAN WALTZ, THE SOUNDS] will produce and mix. We will lay down all the tracks in Stockholm at Studio 301 and Cosmos Studios."
SISTER SIN in April made a new song, "Beat 'Em Down", available for free download via MySpace page. The track was recorded as a tribute to the late great Gothenburg boxing champ Ingemar "Ingo" Johansson, who passed away in January.
"Switchblade Serenades" debuted at No. 107 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200.
"Switchblade Serenades" was produced by Tobias Lindell at Bohus Sound Studios in Sweden.

HYPOCRISY Experiencing Trouble With U.S. Immigration
Swedish death metallers HYPOCRISY have issued the following statement in regards to their upcoming North American tour with ENSIFERUM, which was scheduled to start on Friday, November 6:
"Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are forced to stay home until U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services process and authorize our working visas. This is the first time the band has faced a situation like this and it's extremely frustrating, as well as depressing, since the last thing we want to do is disappoint our loyal fans who have waited years to see us live in the U.S.
"We filed for our visas with plenty of time, but as some probably don't know, the US government has changed its rules when it comes to visas issued to artists so it's become tougher. Even if we have already toured the U.S. numerous times.
"As it stands now, we are on stand-by mode and waiting to receive the green light. We hope it's just a few days before that happens. In the meantime, we want to apologize to all the fans that planned on going to see us tear shit up live. We will do our best to rejoin the tour as soon as possible!"
HYPOCRISY has enlisted CHILDREN OF BODOM frontman Alexi Laiho to play guitar on the tour. Alexi will temporarily fill the currently vacant guitarist spot on the trek, which will also include headliners BLACKGUARD and SWASHBUCKLE.
