SOMETIME IN FEBRUARY Launch New Track “A Safe Haven” Ahead Of First Ever UK/EU Shows; Audio + Guitar Playthrough Video
US-based rising instrumental progressive metallers, Sometime In February, recently released their new studio album, Where Mountains Hide, via InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. Hailing from Charlotte, North Carolina, this instrumental guitar trio present sophisticated yet accessible compositions that reveal a maturity beyond their brief time together as a band.
Ahead of the band playing their first ever UK/European shows, as well as an appearance at Prog Power Festival USA, they have launched a brand new track, “A Safe Haven”. Listen to the song, and watch a guitar playthrough for the track below. Stream the single here.
The band comments: “A counterpart to Hiding Place, and an epilogue to Where Mountains Hide, ‘A Safe Haven’ is the bookend to Sometime in February’s current cycle. Written and recorded as a proper trio, we feel that it takes its time with still, somber moments, but we absolutely make time to have fun and highlight our funky and heavy tendencies. It’s a fitting and satisfying conclusion to the Mountain Era, and we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate our first trip across the pond as a band than to share this with everyone!”
